Speaker 1 (00:14):
Welcome to the naught even Nice Show.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
I'm your host, Rum Shooter, and it's Tuesday, one of
my favorite days because one of my favorite people is
joining us. Miss Day.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
Are you there?
Speaker 3 (00:23):
I am, and I'm so happy it's Tuesday. I literally
wait like six and a half days just to hear
your voice. So it's amazing.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
We're gonna have a drinking poo tonight, so you're gonna
hear a lot of my voice. I'm gonna hear a
lot of yours too. People think that I'm the loud one,
but actually, Miss Day, when we go out and you
had yourself a nice glass of wine, you get a.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
Little pitty chatty. That's when you find out all my facts.
That's when I tell them about my new boys. I
met one on Saturday.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
You'll get all the deeps tonight.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
I promise you know you know what I'm like. Sh
don't tell Miss Day. I'll tell you everything tomorrow. But
first I've got to get it from the source. I'll
do that tonight. I'm working. Look at me, I don't
stop working. I'm gonna get all this dish for tomorrow. Okay,
let's jump in with today's dish. What time is it
my friends, it is time. This is a wild story.
So Taylor Swift is clapping back a Dave Groll. Now
(01:16):
he wasn't really in my world? Am I pronouncing his
last name right?
Speaker 4 (01:19):
Mister?
Speaker 2 (01:20):
I think so, I believe so yeah, yeah, So he
is like a rocker because he implied that she didn't
perform live, So Taylor isn't letting Dave's comments slip by no, no, no.
The pop star has fired back, asserting that she and
her band are very much performing live during their shows.
(01:41):
So he's a member, the front man of the Foo Fighters.
Once again, too cool for me. I don't really know
this rock world. I like Liza and Elle, I like
I like Barry Mado. This isn't my world, mystery, but
he did record my husband's song Copa Cabana. He's a
huge fan of Bruce and Barry's. So I always liked
(02:01):
Dave because of that. Google Dave role singing Copa Gabana.
It's so much fun. It's so edgy and naughty.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
So I liked him for that.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
But he made a sly remark about Taylor recently, saying
that he's gonna call his tour the Errors Tour, which
is a dig at her because he says, quote they
actually play live well, her to us, called the heirs
to us, and they're both very similar, and then talking
about playing live. While Taylor wasted no time in addressing
(02:32):
the comments. During her third show in London, sold out,
she proudly declared to the crowd, quote every one of
my band members, every single one of our crew, my band,
they've been playing live for you for three and a
half hours. They deserve this so much. The place when
(02:53):
nuts now. I've been to a Taylor show more than one.
They're very much playing live, mister, and we know this too,
just video. Once or twice Taylor's made a mistake and
there's a fly that might have popped into her mouth,
or there might have been someone in the audience that
needed a little bit of help. We see her stop
her band, so if it was on track, it would
look very different. She's definitely performing live. I'm surprised that
(03:16):
Dave did this because even though I don't know much
about him, I did a little research. He seems like
a good guy. He's not a Bethany Frankel who's trying
to always get the attention or tag onto a big
star that isn't his style. So I'm quite shocked that he,
of all people in the music business to pick on
picked on Taylor.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
I mean, it is Taylor Swift. And if you're gonna
say something about someone to make a joke that people get,
you pick Taylor. But this is when you need a journalist,
a pr person, a wordsmith, because all he had to
say was we're gonna call ourselves the Errors Tour because
we make so many mistakes. Gee different, same joke, same joke,
(03:55):
and Taylor Swift would have laughed and been like, hilarious,
we make jokes too, and he would have gotten her
a okay. So it's sometimes it's just you can make
the joke, but make sure the words you're using are correct.
And I think that was the mistake here. I think
he was trying to say, like, oh, we play live
and we do make mistakes and it's horrible, you know sometimes,
(04:16):
And he wasn't necessarily digging at Taylor. But the word
choice was the word all off.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Yeah, it's really off. You're right, he's a good guy.
Everybody tells me he's a good guy. So people were
shocked about this comment. I think it was the word
choice is mystery. I think he was trying to make
fun of himself, of his own band, not Taylor, But
he didn't come across like that. It came across like
mean to her. That's always a good joke, in my opinion,
is when you're the butter the joke, Like, I always
end up making fun of myself and it makes my
(04:43):
friends laugh more than if I'm making fun of somebody else.
I think it's a really good strategy. How he said
that were the errors to her? Because we make a
lot of mistakes. Oh, it's adorable. And then Taylor muld
have said something really lovely like you don't make mistakes.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
I'm such a fad. You're great. Yeah, be careful with.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Your words, everybody, because they do sting, they really do,
and they do have can sequences, and so be careful
with your words. Even though I'm not totally convinced here
he meant this, which brings us to our whole question
of the day. Taylor Swift is clapping back at the
Foo Fighters front man after he suggested that she did
(05:20):
not perform live Our questions quite simple, Does Dave o
Taylor an apology? Him messed up here? He might have
said something he didn't mean. Can he just clear this
up now? Or should he just pretend it didn't happen.
I'm a fan of clearing stuff up when I make mistakes, mystery,
you know, it's easy to pretend that they didn't happen,
to bury your head in the sand. I don't do that.
(05:42):
I always own up. I stop, I say I'm sorry,
and then I move on. But what do you think
does he oh Taylor an apology? Hey? Go vote on
our Twitter page and Naughty nys rob or a Facebook
page which is Naughty Gossip, and be sure to check
back tomorrow to hear your results. Hemus you how do
you work it on that? Well?
Speaker 3 (06:02):
Of course I've been following Justin Timberlake and I can
tell you this naughties. A bartender at the New York
hotel where Justin Timberlake had his drink before his DWI
RS right here in New York has confirmed that the
pop stars claimed that he only had one cocktail before
he left is actually true. So an employee at the
(06:24):
American Hotel in sag Harbor confirmed to people that the
singer had just one martini. Another hotel employee even back
this up, saying, look if he had more drinks. It
was not here now. If you remember, the Sag Harbor
officers pulled over Justin and they charged him with one
(06:44):
count of driving while intoxicated and cited him for two
traffic violations failure to stop at a stop sign and
failure to keep right. And if you have been out there,
you know to the Hampton's Long Island. Those streets are small.
Stay in your lane, stay literally.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
That's a fun thing, that's very funny.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Mistake.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
This is getting more complicated non now. Some people are
implying that Justin's team have paid off the bar staff
at the hotel.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
Not impossible. I don't think that happened, but it is
not impossible. Other people are saying that the statement is
so careful. This is a celebrity hangout. So the last
thing this hotel, this bar wants is the reputation of
being gossipy gooses, of being loose lips because celebrities won't
go there anymore. So they want to prove to all
their celebrity clientele.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
We got you back, We're looking after you.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
So I think putting the bartender out is a very
good move. However, the statement is so careful it says
we only served him wandering, but we don't know how
many drinks he might have had before he got here,
or we don't know. Some people remember, well I used
to do this, mystery. Maybe you didn't, But at university
when I had no money, i'd a was sneak in
my own drinks.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
I would. I'd go to the bar with like a
little flask or a little bottle of gin or vodering
ma shoe. I couldn't afford the drinks, so I just
order like a soda and pour my own vocret. Oh,
it's terrible, Thank goodness, I don't have to do that anymore.
So I don't know if Justin did that, but he
could have had drinks before he got there. I just
think Justin should admit this and it will go away.
(08:18):
Say I made a mistake, say it was terrible, make
a donation to some anti drunk driving organization, and then
move on. But dig in your heels in here. You
might win legally. His lawyer said that they're going to
fight this. They could win legally, but I think he's
already lost in the court of public opinion.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
Rob. I have to ask you a question, because you've
worked with so many celebrities. I mean, why didn't justin
just call a car service. It's not like you can't
afford it.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
I mean uber arrogance, Yeah, arrogance, mystery. It's that they
are above the low, that nothing can stop them. They
literally think they can fly an air aplane. That's what
always Cat's celebrities miss day. For a minute, when you
and I were both in the spotlight on our own
morning show, it could have gone to my head for
(09:07):
a minute. It didn't, but for a second, were you there,
like there's a minute when you start believing all the hype.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
I think the moment that it felt kind of like, oh,
this could be something is when we walked a red
carpet and people were stopping, you know us to take
our pictures, and we had our makeup on and we had,
you know, clothing from designers. For a moment there, I
was like, maybe this can be real. But I always thought,
I'll stay kind, I'll stay see the entire you're.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
A good person. Just think it's a good person too.
I do believe that. But after decades of being.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
In the spotlight.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
He was famous when he was fifteen, sixteen years old,
decades of being in the spotlight. I understand that it
goes to his head. I'm annoyed with these two friends
who were the two people he was having a drink.
Mefere I was with you, mister, and you were drunk.
I'd get you an Uber. There would be no question
about it. I'd be like, mister, you ain't gonna get
home driving like you get yourself in a taxi. I've
left you men. You have both left each other drunk places.
(10:02):
And we always say, if you've got an uber, you've
got a taxi, you're gonna be find I'm not driving.
If you were driving, I'd be like, girl, you ain't
doing that. But I'd throw you into an uber, throw
you into a taxi. So I think his friends to
have something here that they should come forward and say, okay,
moving along. Princess Anne was rushed to hospital after a
shocking incident. So the Palace has confirmed the news that Anne,
who is seventy three years old, sustained a minor injury
(10:26):
and concussion after a fall at her estate in Gloucestershire.
She's the sister to King Charles and she was taken
to hospital in Bristol. I'm told she's going to be
away from royal duties for two or three weeks. Anne,
that is the hardest working royal. And when I say that,
what I mean is she has the most events on
(10:46):
her schedule. If you look at the schedule, and does
the most. She goes to hospital, she goes to charities,
she does this, she does that. She's always out there
promoting the royals, cutting ribbons, kissing babies. Her schedule's chock
a block for the next three weeks. But she's got
to take time off now because of what's going on
with Kate and the King, and obviously Harry and Meghan
have left the working family. There's not so many royals
(11:09):
anymore to pick up the slacks. And what I'm told
is Annie's heartbroken that she can't make these engagements, but
she promises to make them up when she's feeling better.
She's going to figure out a way so that she
doesn't let anybody down.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
I like her. I think she's smart.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
I love these Subsigenarians. I mean, you know her and
my mom. They just keep rolling. But they have to do.
They do have to remember they are in their seventies
and so when you do have a fall, that can
be dangerous. So it is important for her to take
the time to rest and make sure that her body
is right so she can keep going and she can
get to the eighties. She's a little behind my mama,
(11:45):
so in.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
A few years two of them could be great friends.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
They should hang out and get on a plane like
every other day, like Ma Mama does.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
So that's pretty great.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Okay, before we get a break, we have some good news,
miss days, some Lindsay Lowhand good news. We don't normally
have Lindsay Lohan good news. It's been kind of a
tragic decade or so we know, Lindsay. We grew up
with Lindsay in New York. I remember when she was
a big star. Everybody went nuts when she walked into
a party or a red carpet. And then lately that
(12:18):
changed Misty and every time he saw her, I felt
a little sorry for her. She always looked a little
worse for the wef you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
How's she doing now.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
Lindsay life is going up the scale. Okay, she's made
a couple movies for Netflix, she found love and now, okay,
people are just going to just nerd out over this.
For the first time in over a decade, she's back
in a leading role in a major studio, big screen film.
Like I said, she's done a couple of Netflix movies,
(12:49):
but now she's coming back in the highly anticipated sequel
to the two thousand and three hit Freaky Friday, which
has just begun. So Walt Disney Studios thrilled fans by
posting a heartwarming photo of Lindsay and her co star
Jamie Lee Curtis. Yes, she's back to holding hands outside
(13:11):
their trailers and beaming with joy, and it said the
Colemans are back and coming to theaters in twenty twenty five.
The sequel to Freaky Friday is now in production. Now
this is amazing. Okay, it's been like fourteen years since
she's done a big studio film. And if you don't
know the Freaky Friday story, basically she played Jamie Lee
(13:32):
Curtis's daughter and they change places and so it's amazing,
and it's just so incredible to see this classic back.
What do you think, Rob, Are we going together? Are
we going to the ca?
Speaker 2 (13:42):
Yeah, We're definitely going to go together for this. I've
always had a soft spot for Lindsay. I used to
be Dina Lohan's publicist during the divorce, Dina hired me
to get her through the press there, so I became
quite close with the Lohan family and I was talking
to them when Lindsay did try a comeback about three
four years ago, and she couldn't get a studio to
high her, and so she had to do these streaming
movies or these movies that were not really A list movies.
(14:05):
I love them, I love a good Christmas movie, but
they're not the type of movies Julia Roberts is going
to make. Or Emma Stone, who's her nemesis, that's who
drives so crazy. And so Lindsay's people told me that
she had to swallow her pride, and she knew the
only way to get back to the A list was
to start on the C list, the B list and
(14:25):
work her way up. And she did that, and she
proved to all these studio executives, all these casting directors,
that now she was reliable, that she did turn up,
she didn't miss day, she didn't go out party, and
her reputation as a party girl became so loud she
couldn't get away from it. So she took some time off.
She's a mommy. She moved to Dubai. Then she tiptoed
(14:46):
back into acting, and once again she didn't start with
the glamorous stuff. And that's a really important lesson here, mister.
Everybody wants to do the great stuff. Who doesn't want
to be on the Today Show, Good Morning America. You
have to start on the local stuff, on the small stuff.
Build your way up. Even if you're Lindsay, lowhand, Lindsay,
it's so good that you're back. Don't mess it up,
my friend. If you're listening low low alo, we are
(15:08):
rooting for you, we are cheering you on. Okay, we're
going to take a quick break and.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
We will be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty
but nic Sho. I'm Rob Shooter with our dear friend. Mister. Hey, mister,
let's get to the polls.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
Don't.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
Last show we.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
Talked about Justin Timberlake was pulled over not once, but
twice by the cops. Should his friends have stopped him
from driving? We spoke about that a moment ago. Should
his friends have started him? Let's have a look. Ninety
two percent said yes, ninety two I'm with you. Norty's
friends don't let friends drunk drive. They just don't do that.
(15:43):
Real friends don't let that happen. Don't forget to vote
on today's pole. Go to our Twitter page add Naughty
Nice rob or our Facebook page which is more gussim
and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
And now it's time.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
For nices of the jazz Well. Our nicest of the
day is Taylor Swift double Taylor today because she can't
stop gushing over her new boyfriend or boyfriend for a
long time, Travis Kelsey's surprise performance at her Error's tour.
So the pop story is head over heels for Travis,
and he made a memorable stop on her tour at
(16:22):
Wimbley Stadium in London. So she took her to her
social media to share her excitement, postings, photos and videos
from the unforgettable night. She wrote, I'm still cracking up
sweening over Killa Travis's Era tour debut. Never gonna forget
these shows round one and she's just saying it was
so surreal and who wouldn't that be if your boyfriend
(16:44):
joins you on stage with hundreds of thousands of people watching?
Because I believe Wimbley stadium is huge. Never been that shoe,
but amazing. Ninety thousand fans and people were just going crazy.
So our nicess is Taylor, and of course a little Travis.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
Oh they're adorable. They are adorable. Taylor's team got my
niece's tickets. I know they've got four tickets. I can't
believe it. I wasn't sure I was going to pull
it off. So I knew my nieces were huge Taylor fans,
and I wanted to show off. I wanted to prove
to them, Look how powerful and fabulous your uncle Robert
is in America. And I was like, oh, maybe I
could do this.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
So I asked. I wasn't going to ask, mister. It
just goes to show you always ask because the answer.
So I asked.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
I was like, can I buy four great seats for
my nieces in London? And they were it back, yes,
and they went and had a fabulous time. So thank
you Taylor, Thank you team Taylor too. Okay, let's do
I have naughties of the day. Nordy, naughty, naughty Ben
Affleck has had a meltdown in front of the paparazzi.
So Ben got into a shocking shouting match with photographers.
(17:48):
Jalo is out of the country. She's in Paris. He's
by himself. He was leaving the home that they used
to share together, and he claims that the flashballs were
blinding him, so he put his car in rehearse, slam
on the brakes, and stormed out and started screaming at
the photographers. They all captured this. He didn't like that
while he was lecturing them, another photographer started to film him,
(18:09):
so he got nasty about that. So now we have
all this video, all these photographs of Ben looking like
a mad man. You can't have this both ways. You
can't make a film with j Lo all about your
life together and then demand privacy.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
You just can't do it.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
You're either gonna be in this or not. Look at
Jennifer Anderston, this never happens to her because she doesn't
play this game. Julia Roberts, This never happens to her
because she doesn't play this game. The housewives, it does
happen to them because they want it. Ben feels to
me like he's thirsty like a housewife, but he pretends
to be classy like a Julia Roberts. Either you want
it or you don't. It's your choice and naughtiest of
(18:48):
the day. Let's then with a moment of rom you
got Rob you Rob you Rob. I love this quote.
Learn from yesterday, live for today, and hope for tomorrow.
We're gonna from what we did yesterday. Today, we are
going to live and we are going to be hopeful
about tomorrow. Hey, that is it for today. Thank you
(19:08):
so much for listening to the Naughty but Nice with
Robert Misty Show, a production of iHeartRadio. Don't forget to
subscribe on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcast. Wherever you listen,
leave us a review if you can, and remember all
together now if you're.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
Going to bleed.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
Nice, I adore your mistake. Starty but Nice with Bro
