Speaker 1 (00:08):
Schedule, advice Shooters Bice, It's time and we alone. Welcome
to the Naughty bann I Show. I'm your host, Rob
Shooter and it's Friday, which means I dear friend Corey
Andrew joins us. Hey, Corey, are you know I am here?
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Hello everyone, Happy Friday.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
Happy Friday, my friend. We missed you last week. I
was on the Elvis Da Ran Show, and so it
was not your schedule. It was my crazy, crazy schedule.
We couldn't quite fit it together. I did a solo show.
I'm pretty good now at doing these solo shows. When
I first started, Corey, the thought of talking a monologue
for twenty minutes, I couldn't imagine it. Well, turns out
I can do it that well.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Yes, yes, It's like an old habit that you just
never could break.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
I enjoy it. I'd rather do it with with a friend.
I'd rather talk with you every Friday. But if if
I have to, I can do it. I was thinking
of by our dear old friend Wendy Williams, who used
to open a national television show five days a week
with a twenty minute monologue. It was just Wendy. She
(01:11):
had Susanne hih Susan. I love her and so I
spoke to her a couple of days ago. She's still great.
She's a really cool lady on Instagram. She's fine. Oh,
she's the best. Ernie Chack just the great, great person.
Wendy's sidekick with Wendy for many, many years. But Wendy
basically opened the show by herself twenty minutes, and she
was interesting and funny and naughty and outrageous and also
(01:32):
maybe a little naughty sometimes, but just so if Wendy
can do it, I can do it too. Thank you
for having my back. Naughty. It's okay, let's jump in.
What time is it? My friends? It is a big
story at the top of the show. So the Beckhams
are apparently very, very toxic. People are saying that Victoria
and David are exhausting. Let me explain. So behind the
(01:52):
match in adfits and the multimillion dollar brand deals and
the carefully filtered Instagram, Apparently Victoria and David Beckham Beckham
have built an empire, but insiders say it's held together
by intimidation, manipulation, and relentless obsession with perfection. The reason
(02:12):
this is coming up right now is that Victoria Posh
Spice is in a bit of a war with Brooklyn.
That's her son's wife, Nicole. Now, we talked about this
on yesterday's show. Nicole is from a really wealthy family.
She actually has more money, or a family has more
money than the Beckham So Nicole's really standing up to
Victoria now and a lot of people are coming out
(02:34):
of the woodwork saying she didn't just treat nic Cole
not very well, she didn't really treat anybody that well.
And insiders are telling me people that have worked with Victoria,
so she's really difficult, that she's there's a meanness to her.
There's something about her that's really entitled. But they have
no loyalty. Loyalty goes one way with this couple. It
(02:56):
feels to me like the beginning of a New Ellen
situation where we suddenly feel you're out. It starts. It's
almost like you pull the finger out of the dumb
where everything comes out. So apparently really difficult to work with,
not very nice people, and all this is happening because
their daughter in law has started to stand up to
(03:16):
Posh Spice.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
What do you think, Yeah, well, that's the one thing
that you can always count on somebody with money. We
call it, well, I don't want to be crass, but
we call that f you money.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
In the world. Right.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
It means you don't get intimidated by anyone. So when
you've met up with someone who have the same money
or more money than you, they're going to stand up.
But I think that Look, her name in the Spice.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Girls was posh.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Okay, let's not forget that those names were all based
on their personalities. So she's not really off the brand here.
I mean she's always been sort of like this sort
of icy, sort of like separate from the other group
in a way. She's never be a distance. She never
really seems like a team player.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
To me in the group. Right, And she's the one
that went to the reunion, right. She wanted to do
this reunion for all these In fact, I think they
went on a reunion tour with that Victoria. She got
together with them, I think to perform at the Olympics
when they were in London. That's a good move. But
then they went on tour and Victoria Victoria said no,
she doesn't want to do it. But that's very interesting.
Money liberates I wish I had, as Corey would call it,
(04:15):
if you I wish I walk around as if I do. Yeah,
people think I'm much more wealthy than I really am.
I'm not really very wealthy at all. I married quite well,
but I have and even when I was a poor
little boy in Birmingham, England, I used to walk around
the playground like I was little Lord Fontoyd. You would
think her last name was Winda, not Shooter. The way
(04:37):
I always felt like, I don't know if it's a
blessing or a curse. You're much more diplomatic than me, Corey.
I say it like I mean it, and I do
say stuff sometimes that oh I hope it's never cruel,
and I always punch up, never punched down. Yeah, but
when I see somebody being rude, being a bully, somebody
who has a lot of power, which Victoria and David
(04:59):
do have well, so they're very powerful, I would think
I would speak up too. So I encourage people, if
you have stories to tell, come forward. We don't have
to accept it anymore, we really don't. I think for
over a decade people at the Ellen Show knew she
was not very nice, and then after a long time
it definitely was ten years people started to talk. Well,
(05:21):
now we're going to find out everything. It's almost like
it's different, but there's a similarity. Let me see if
I can explain it with Blake Lively. Blake got into
a lawsuit and that was the start of all the story.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Big mistake for her, really, I mean she literally now
is the one who's mostly scrutinized as being questionably like
the not so nice person and the equation, and she
started it.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
Yet you never know what's going to start it, do you. Well?
What started this is Victoria and her daughter in law
have a very complicated relationship. The daughter in law and
the son Brooklyn were not at David's fiftieth thirty party.
That is the start. Yes, and that's why all this
is coming guy, which leads us to our pole question
of the day. The Beckhams play toxic power games of
(06:11):
Victoria and David the new Ellen Ooh hey, go vote
on our Twitter page. I had Naughty Nights rob. Our
facebook page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to check
back on Menday to hear your results. Hey Corey Love,
what are you working on now? Well?
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Speaking of alleged bullies, I mean it's you know, quite
quite the segway. But Leah Michelle, Lea Michelle is in
the headlines again now because she's trashing her Glee cast,
her fellow cast members, She's trashing them once again. It
was a new interview and the funny Girl star. She's
thirty eight years old now, no longer playing a kid
on Glee. But you know, she reopened all these old
(06:48):
wounds when she was asked about the aftermath of Corey
Montite's tragic death back in twenty thirteen, and instead of
like uniting with the Glee family, she said, no, they
did not band together.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Now, she could have.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Just said something a little nicer, or just nothing at all.
But you know, she doesn't realize that she's trashing people
who were also grieving and who were terrorized by her
behavior on the set. Now, that is what someone is
also offering in this situation. Who's looking at her comments.
But you know, rather than take responsibility for her well
documented on set conduct, which many co stars described as toxic, unpleasant,
(07:23):
even a living hell, once again, in this situation, wasn't
about Corey Montein's death, Leah brought it back to herself,
very self centered, like she reminds me sort of like
not in I mean, got to call it out like
Madonna was very much like that a long time ago
me And so, yeah, this is a big So I'm
not sure why they are like that, but she's self centered.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Oh, I mean, it's almost skill that I wish I
wish I had more, like.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
Just like so many people have that, like.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
Unsuccessful people, particularly people in show business. And I don't
want to I really don't want to equate being a
narcissist of being successful all day, every minute of every day.
I used to say when I worked with Jennifer Lopez,
Jennifer is her own hobby. She doesn't have any hobbies.
Her hobby is Jennifer, Right, And when you think about
yourself twenty four hours a day, every day, you do
(08:16):
do a lot of stuff like I get distracted or
by Survivor on TV or the Amazing. Oh I get
distracted when I sit down with a book or a magazine,
or if I see a cross at or I get
distracted all day. But it is a skill. I think
it's a really ugly skill though, to have, particularly when
you're talking about the death of somebody, the tragic death.
(08:40):
I remember when he died. It was just awful, and
at the time she made it all about herself, and
now though with fifteen twenty years fast forward, she still
can't help herself. I guess it's unrealistic to think people
are really going to change. Maybe you can change the
emphasis a little bit, become a little bit more caring,
(09:01):
a little bit, a little bit nicer, but you ultimately
I think after the age of five young I was.
I was this nutty when I was six, Like this
really is the same, rob Shooter. I have a little
bit more money now, nicer shoes and taller, but I'm
pretty much the same sort of annoying kids. And see,
(09:23):
I think we are who we are, and I'm glad
I'm not a meaning just such a bad look now.
In her defense, I know actors on Broadway who were
in Funny Girl, and they said she went out of
her way to be extra nice. They didn't believe she
was being naturally nice automatically. But I don't care. Even
if you're faking niceness, it ends in the same result,
(09:45):
which is niceness. So I would rather it come from
inside you. I'd rather it be genuine. But if it's
not genuine, than anybody listening who sees me, please fake it.
I'd rather fake day the real Median and so yeah, i'
got my eye on this one. Oh, it's just such
a wasted opportunity. You want to think people turn over
(10:05):
a new leaf for a last although our next story
maybe somebody has turned over a new leave. Leonardo DiCaprio
was spotted at the met Ball. Well he actually really wasn't.
I had hundreds of reporters there. There were so many
people on the red carpet. Nobody saw Leo slipping. So
the only reason we know he was there is he
popped up in a video. So there was a little
(10:25):
video that Anna does not like. She'd band cell phone
always get to sort of sneak one him while somebody
posted a video and if you look in the background,
there is Leo. Now. He was there with his girlfriend.
She's a model, she's gorgeous. She walked the red carpet.
I hit the phones and people said he didn't go
for fashion, he went for love. This was a really
(10:46):
important night for her. He wanted to be there, but
he also didn't want to steal her. Thunder had he
walked in down the red carpet with her, he would
have been all about him, and so he slipped in
through the side door. He was literally in the shadows.
He had a great time, but in sid to say,
it probably won't be going to again, but you did well.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
I do wonder though, if she got the invite, because
she's dating DiCaprio. Like you know, Anna Winter is very
like very manipulative, like Leo's a big fish.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
To care and he's never been before, would never be right.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
So there's a big pr story behind that that brings
some more eyes to the gala.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
You know, I don't know I think that.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
I mean, I hope his girlfriend got invited on her
own merit because maybe her.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Yeah, she is a big model. She's no Naomi Campbell
and she's no Tyra Banks, but she is no one
in the model in business. And Anna doesn't love a
room a pretty Yeah she up that ball. And so
they were both there. And this just goes to show
you too, because sometimes I get this guilty feeling like, oh,
just leave celebrities alone. And then friends of mine who
work with stars or even actually some of them are
(11:49):
quite quite big stars themselves, they tell me, Robert, if
a star wants to be anonymous they actually can.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Yeah, they have the money to do it.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
They never get to see Jennifer Anderston unless she wants
us to. Right, we get to see Kim because she
wants us to the real housewives, who will always crying
and screaming for privacy. They always do it on TikTok
somewhere like they don't really really want it. So it
is interesting life a star as big as Leo can
get into what was arguably one of the most watched
(12:18):
media events of the year. There was every press there,
every camera, for every reporter for Lea to get in.
Credit to you, my friend, I tip my hat. Okay,
moving a long hilario or should we say hilary when
he's calling out an A list celebrity, and I think
we know who that celebrity is. She didn't name the name,
but we will.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Yeah, we think we know who it is. But I
have to just say too that this hilarious. She sort
of annoys me and I know, but she really is
annoying and I'll tell you why in a moment. But hilario, Bodwin,
you know, she's calling out where she calls inherently cruel
behavior from an A lister who she says targeted her family.
Now insight sources are saying that it was Amy Schumer,
(12:58):
so hilarious breaking her sad islands. She's not naming names,
of course, but you know, there was a certain special
comedy special that Schumer had in twenty twenty three called
Emergency Contactors on Netflix, and it included a pointed jab
at Hilario that was mocking this really infamous Spanish accent
that Hilaria has been using. People have called her out
(13:18):
because she's from Boston. And now I just saw I
just tell you, I saw an interview with her now
talking to Jenna Bush, and she claims it's something.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
Called code switching.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
And I'm very annoyed at that because code switching is
what a lot of African American people do, or marginalized
people who are oppressed, and they will begin to speak
differently in the environment that they're in to assimilate, like
a well spoken black person will, you know, over the top,
you over enunciative. But it's part of being oppressed. And
so when she uses code switching as her reason, she's
(13:50):
just for a fake Spanish accents.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
Everything, everything she just called it everything, she just well,
I hit the phones after she and I It's like,
we didn't think you a mess. We did not bring
this up. It's in a book. So in a book,
she said, an ailess celebrity really bullied me, and she
wouldn't name name the celebrity. Hilaria Hillary, girl, you don't
have trouble telling us anything. You're on a reality show.
You're barely shy. Let's be honest here, I've seen her
(14:14):
on red carpet. She's not a shy little flower. And
so I hit the phones and I said, to my
Hilaria Baldwin sources, really more, here's Alex saw who is
it this? The list is so long of all the
people that dislike her, he said, it could be anybody.
They said, just pick a celebrity, Tina Fey, whoever you want.
(14:34):
She's managed to annoy pretty much everybody Alex is liked.
He's a bit of a bully and he's a bit
of a blowhard, but he's very respected in the business.
He wouldn't have got all those movie roles he robed
Tina Fey if he wasn't sort of respected. But they
don't like or respect her, and so I think he
(14:54):
was probably Amy Schumer, but there's a lot of other
I know, you've got to your life. I said to
Bruce today, I was watching a bit of Dateline talking
about getting distracted. I said, Bruce, if I was found murdered,
who did it? Said? Oh, the list is too long.
It's too long. Rude, rude. Okay, We're going to take
(15:16):
a quick break while we think about that very very
long list, and we will be right back. Welcome back
to the Naughty but nic Sham your headstrop Shooter with
idea friend Cory Andrew. Hey, Corey, let's get to the
polls are. Last year we talked about Prince William and Kate.
Of course we do. We talk about the every show,
and it was a nice story. I reported that they
are determined to protect little Charlotte and Louis from Prince
(15:39):
Harry's spare trauma. When you're the spare, when you're not
going to be the king, when you're in the shadows,
it's really damaging. And the one silver lining of that book,
at least for William and Kate was now they are
aware of this, and so our question was can they
end the curse? Let's have a look. Eighty percent SA,
Yes they can if they handle this well. If they
talk to their kids, they give them a purpose, don't
(16:02):
teach them. They're just on this earth in case we
need them to slip into the throat. That isn't the
reason they're here. William and Harry had this very difficult relationship.
Harry said in his memoir It was a great book
Spare that he basically was just there in case anything
happened to William. Nobody really gave him any purpose, and
(16:23):
he sort of grew up that nobody really cared about
him as what was about the brother. So I do
like that William and Cator going out of their way
to try and then this curse of despair. Hey, don't
think it. De vote on today's Poul will go to
a Twitter page at naughty nine. Rob our facebook page
is not your I'm be sure to check that our
Monday to hear your results. And no, I'm not sure.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
Yes, well this could actually be naughty, naughty, naughty, but
for a very different reason. So sam Ashgari has this
jump rope video that's going he's Britney Spears ex husband
and you know he's a very good looking man, muscular
and they're divorced now of course, but he's doing well
on social media. So he's got this jump rope video
(17:10):
going viral because it's not just his biceps that are bouncing, honey.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
Okay, so listen.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
He has sent Paul Says skyrocketing with this video where
he's like jumping up and down and you know, working
out with barbells. But the clip features him shirtless, enthusiastically
jumping away and there's a very certain generous screen time
to a certain area of the body that's you know,
swinging to the oldies will say, you know, and you know,
I just think that he knows what he's doing. You know,
(17:37):
he's definitely shown it off. And I'm gonna tell you, Rob,
I think he's gotten only fans coming soon where he's
gonna go full on because it's getting like he's getting
more and more like naked and vocketed.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
Can sub stack, substack if you want to see the picture,
check it out. I've got a story about him. The
nicest of the day, for all the obvious reasons would
be Okay, now I know, it's the day couple offered
Simon Cowell one hundred and fifty thousand dollars to watch
them have sex. So Simon Cowell is arguably one of
the most famous TV judges in the world. He's on
The X Factor. We know him from American Idol. He
(18:11):
said he was at a restaurant and this couple came
over to him and said, can we pay you to
just having sex? And he was like, they're winding me up,
which is a British expression from that or they're just
kidding me, but they were really serious and he said, oh,
for a second he actually thought about it. That's a
lot of money. And then he said no, no, no,
I can't do it. It was totally bizarre. Yes it was,
(18:31):
Simon cow you do make me allow it, and thank you,
Cory of the day. Let's end with a moment of rum.
Rub stop trying to fit in. You were born to
stand out. Fit in is overrated. Stop shrinking yourself to
match the room. Stop dinning your light to make others
(18:52):
comfortable except the fact that you're different. That's your power,
not your problem. So stand tall in your truth because
the moment you stop trying to fit in, you finally
find where you belong. This is one hundred percent true
for me. I wanted to fit in. I wanted two
(19:13):
good arms, I didn't want a big nose. I didn't
want to be gay. I didn't want to be funny.
I didn't want to be odd. That's my power. That's
my power. Once again, let me remind you stop trying
to fit in. You naught ease, were born to stand out. Hey,
that is it for this week. Thank you so much
(19:35):
for listening. So they're not even nice with Robin Corey Show,
a production of Elvis Duran and iHeartRadio. Don't forget to
subscribe on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts. Wherever you listen,
leave us a review if you can. They really really
do help. And remember all together now, if you're going.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
To be to be naughty, you've got to be nice.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Take care. Fifth, Welcome back Corey mister.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
You not even nice with rom Yes,
