Speaker 1 (00:08):
Advice Shooter.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
And welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show. I'm your host,
rub Shooter and it's Friday, which means dear dear friend
Corey Andrew is joining us. Hey Corey, are you there?

Speaker 1 (00:26):
I am here. Happy Friday, everyone.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Happy Friday, Corey. I wish everybody could see what I
can see right now. It's very early in the morning. Yes,
we've literally both just got out of bed rolled into
a make shift studios. You as looks much nicer than mine,
and we have a sort of natural bed hair.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Yes, fair enough to say it is honey. I had
twisted my hair when I went to bed, and then
I just took him out. And this is what you're getting.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
This isous And I'll take a picture, take a picture,
post on. Oh I love it. Okay, let's jump into
the show. What time is it? My friends? It is
tea time? And nearly said it is fright, it's right.
What time is it? Oh my goodness, it was a
long week. That was a long week. Okay, this story
is blowing up. We have to get into it. We're

(01:14):
a positive podcast, but this is in the news. It
makes me sad, but there's truth here. So the tonight
show staffers are claiming that Jimmy Fallon was erradic, seemingly
drunk and toxic in the workplace. So two current staffers
and fourteen former employees, raging from production crew to people

(01:35):
in the office to writers, were dishing to Rolling Stone
magazine and they said, nobody ever says no to Jimmy,
and you're always walking on eggshells. Everybody from the showrunners
who are the bosses of the show, to the interns,
everybody is walking on eggshells. And they said, you never
know what version of Jimmy you're going to get. He

(01:57):
can be nice Jimmy, or he can be Jimmy that
throws a hissy fit and he looks down and a
staff he talks down to them. They said, it's a
toxic work environment. Several of them have been to HR
over the years to report him, but nothing's ever been
done about it. And we know things are bad because
he has been through nine showrunners, nine EPs in nine years.

(02:19):
Every year there has been a new boss. Now now
there is somebody in there who I'm told the sort
of steadied the ship. But Jimmy is still the problem.
Jimmy is the problem. He had now they're pushing back
NBC saying that having a work environment that is positive
is very very important to them. Although I spoke to

(02:40):
two people I know, two friends of mine who worked
for Jimmy and did not contribute to this story. They
were furious that they weren't called. They said they didn't
even bother to call me Rolling Stones, and so they
did not contribute to this story. But over the years
I have heard nightmare stories from my friendlies who worked
about Jimmy. Sometimes they think he's high, you're hungover, or

(03:04):
he comes in in a sweat, like an alcohol sweat.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
One of my friends went Sara Remember, vividly told me
he threw like a chair backstage. He was so angry,
and then when the guests come out, he's all smiles,
and the minute the guests leave, he's nasty and calls
the staff names, tells them they're not funny. In fact,
the dressing rooms at the show so up on the
eighth floor of thirty Rock is his massive studio, but

(03:29):
there's also a lot of dressing rooms that they're really beautiful,
sort of individual dressing rooms. I was told they turned
into crying rooms for the staff. So when celebrity guests
were not in those dressing rooms. The staff were in
their crying. It was that bad. So I'm not hearing
this for the first time, you might be, what do
you think.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Well, you know, first of all, first thing that came
to mind was Ellen, which you know that has anything
to do with it. But I mean, it's that same thing,
and I think that this is not making an excuse,
but this is probably one of the most high pressure
despite the fact that people may think that it's you know, glamorous,
it's Hollywood, but there are like millions upon millions upon

(04:06):
millions of dollars riding on the success of this show,
and that pressure, like any other pressure in life, must
get to you if you are the person expected to deliver.
So not making an excuse. He might have it together,
maybe substance abuse counseling, but I think he has a
problem because the pressure of the show.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
There's been lots of reports too a couple of years
ago that he was drinking too much. Remember all those
reports in page six in the post that he was
out drinking, And so this seems to be a pattern here.
If it wasn't for the fact that I have two
friends who worked for him, one of which quit and
didn't have another job. She hated it so much she
quit a job. And she was earning in the good

(04:47):
two three hundred thousand dollars a year. It was a good,
really well paid job. Yeah, you earn a lot of
money in entertainment at NBC, more than maybe in the
news division. Yeah, it was a great paying job. She
had access to Jimmy Fanllon. She got us tickets to
the show. So I thought it was an absolute dream,
and she said it was a nightmare, an absolute nightmare.
She quit. Now she's got another job. But she actually

(05:08):
walked away from all that money, all that power because
he was so awful. Now, Jimmy did address this yesterday.
There are reports that he zoomed in there off because
of the strike, but he zoomed into his staff and
he said, I'm very embarrassed for you, and he talked
a little bit about this story. He also just arrived
back in New York City. He wasn't in the city

(05:29):
until yesterday, but we spotted him at JFK Airport. He
was all smiles. He flashed a smile to the camera
and then jumped into to missus car. There has been
some pushback though, because in the Rolling Stone story, you know,
if you get one or two things wrong, then suddenly
the credibility of the whole story is questioned. Jerry Seinfeld
is pushing back. Jerry is mentioned in the story saying

(05:51):
that Jerry witnessed Fallon belittle a staff member and told
him to apologize. Jerry is saying that this is all stupid,
that this really didn't happen. He said, I remember it
very differently. I teased Jimmy about a flub and we
had a laugh about it, and that's basically it. So
some people are coming forward to defend him, some are not.

(06:15):
I think it's probably a combination of everything there. Nobody
or most people are not all bad. Yeah. Even my
friends who worked there and dislike him, they said there
were some days where he was really fun. It's that
thing about not knowing who you're going to get that's
so troubling. Get the children who have parents who are
alcoholics say this all the time. When they came home
from school, they never knew who which they were going

(06:36):
to get. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Yeah, because you do get erratic behavior because of the
substance abuse. And but Jerry Seinfeld also he could have
perceived that situation differently because he's a celebrity, he was
not probably going to feel the brunt of that. And
Jerry Arsen needs to be careful because he defended years
ago the actor from Seinfeld who actually made that horrible
flub when he was on the stage, made that racial

(06:59):
comment called Kramer, I just call him a creamer, and
Jerry kind of defended him on one of the late
night show. So Jerry tends to have a history of
like everything's okay to him as a white man in Hallwood.
He's not the one receiving a lot of this behavior.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Interesting, you know, it's so interesting. When I did my
morning show with mister, her perspective of that show was
very different to mine. They treated me very well. I
had a lovely two or three years. I earned a
lot of money. Everybody was nice to me. Mister not
so much. And it was only when I saw it
through her eyes that I realized how toxic TV really
can be, which brings us to our pole question of

(07:36):
the day. Tonight's share staffers claimed that Jimmy Fallon was
a radic, seemed to be drunk, and really promoted a
toxic work environment. Big question, should he be replaced with
Tina Fay? There are some rumors I'm hearing there actually
are rumors about this inside NBC. Ellen's gone. Let's be
clear here. Ellen did not survive that she finished her season,

(07:57):
but now she's gone. I am told that there is
absolute panic in it inside NBC because they all knew
that they had gone to HR. The other host notes
record Holder and Savannah No, they're in the building, Like,
who knew about this? Did Lester Holt know he's in
the building? NBC News is in that building? What did

(08:20):
they know? And so if this starts to spread around
that building into that question, it could be really really bad.
So should they just get rid of him? And then
I was asking friends. I hit the phones and I
was like, well, who would replace him? And they said
the obvious choice is Tina Fay. Wow, and it's about
time we had a woman night on network TV and

(08:44):
she had to fight to get that too. So that's
our question of the day. I feel like I've biased
you here a little bit, But should he be replaced
by Tina Fane? Not? Do you want him replaced by
Tina Fakes? I think we're all going to say yes,
But should he Yes, Okay, go votes on our Twitter
page at Noaughty Knights. We are abou facebook pages Naughty
goes in. But I'm be sure to check back on
Monday to hear your results. Hey, Corey, what are you

(09:05):
working on? Yes?

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Well, this is a really important story I think for
women when I really got into it. But Joe Jonas,
he's allegedly being reported as having been very less I
would say, supportive of his wife, Sophie Turner when she
was struggling after giving birth to their baby. So basically
she is his estranged wife now. But when she was
struggling with their after having given birth to their baby,

(09:28):
it was their second child, was last year. According to
a new report, the Jonahs brother member allegedly pressured the
Game of Throne star to attend industry events and get
out of the house, you know, despite her not wanting
to be photographed. Now, although she would prefer to stay
home with her two daughters, she would put on a
brave face anyway, and she would go out to numerous
events and she'd stand with her husband and be photographed,

(09:49):
et cetera. But she made it clear. Sources have maybe
reported this, but she's made it clear that she was
not comfortable and she didn't want to be there. So
there was an event that she didn't attend where Joe
allegedly complained that his wife needed to get out more.
And at that point people started like to kind of
have a little buzz, like prompting people to suspect there

(10:09):
was something going on in their marriage, like it had
hit a rough patch. But the reason why I say
it's an important conversation for women is because you know,
there's a hormonal thing. I want men to know this,
Like women actually go through something physical when they have
a baby. There are hormonal changes involved, and they need
time to kind of get back, and they're the ones

(10:32):
to tell you when they're ready. Got you saying, hey, honey,
put on some lipstick and come on, let's go squarre
dans and like that's not how that works, right.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Meg and Michael went through this, yeh. After she had
her baby. She was expected to present that baby to
the world, largely on the side the hospital, and she
said absolutely not and I'm really respect her for that.
She stood up to literally the Queen of England. He said, no,
I'm doing it my way. What's interesting here, too, is
that initially after this divor story broke, it felt as

(11:02):
if Joe's people were pushing a very negative narrative for her. Yeah,
he was even spotted in Miami with his children looking perfect.
Who tipped off that paparazzo? So there was a photographer
that caught Joe with the kids. All these tricks we
now know, and then this narrative that she was a
party girl and drinking, and then what's this about her
being caught on a doorbell with camera. I know, we've

(11:25):
never seen the footage, and my sources told me if
that actually happened, that footage would have been leaked by now,
So I'm starting to doubt that. So it feels as
if Sophie and her friends, maybe her pr people are
starting to push back. There are two sides to every story.
Nobody's a total hero or nobody's a total villain. Here,
I'm sad that we've gone down this path. But Joe,

(11:46):
you fired the first shot or your people did? They
put out a beautiful statement asking for privacy, saying it
was a mutual decision, and then within hours we find
out there's a doorbell camera, we see Joe with the kids.
We find out but he's looking after the kids while
she's working, as if that's a bad thing. Men step
your kids too, And so I think we're gonna find

(12:07):
out a lot more about this. But it is interesting
because the narrative that they were pushing that she's a
party girl was actually quite the opposite. After she gave
birth to those kids stayed, we didn't see her. Yeah,
I went back over our photographer database. She disappeared. She
didn't want to leave the house. She'd put on some
weight she wanted to lose that, she didn't feel great.

(12:27):
She wanted to be with her daughters. This is not uncommon,
and so Joe was less than supportive. Is the story today.
So gosh, it's amazing how these stories it's like in
real life, isn't it. The more information you get, the
more you change your mind.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
Yeah, you know, I just saw a video of her yesterday.
There was like she was at like a basketball game
and she's chugging back a glass of a cup of
wine and it runs down her mouth and she wipes
it off, and it was presenting her as like this drunk,
it's just drunk, And I'm like, yeah, was a moment
at a game where everyone's going back awful.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Yes, they're presenting and like she's Jimmy Fallon, No shug away.
If you want to drink at a basketball game, enjoy
your life. I would hope a bit of advice here
from Uncle Robert. If you're listening Joe and Sophia Lowell alone,
both of you, take your foot off the gas here.
Don't be blaming each other. Don't be leaking stories. If
your people are doing it, tell them to stop. I

(13:20):
went down this path with Jessica Simpson and Nick I
was leaking stories to make her look good. His people
were probably leaking stories to make him look good, and
in the end it got really ugly and nasty, and
he didn't need to be. It doesn't need to be
this nasty. And they can't ever really say goodbye because
they've got those two daughters. They will be in each
other's lives, and so are they going to leak stories

(13:40):
every time they have to give up the kids to
the other parent. It's just a mess here, And you
know it sounds weird as a gossip columnst You would
think that I would love this stuff. I don't. Not.
When involved makes me sad, makes me sad. Okay, Moving along,
talking about kids are born, babies. Courtney Kardashian is breaking
her silence on her fetal surgery, saying she wasn't prepared

(14:00):
for fear. So we know she was rushed to hospital.
She had urgent fetal surgery, and she wrote on Instagram
that she's very grateful to the incredible doctors who saved
her baby's life. Wow, very very powerful. But what was
interesting here is she said she went on to thank
her mom, she thanked her husband, who dropped everything. He
was in Ireland or overseas doing shows and he rushed back.

(14:23):
But she went on to say that what she wasn't
prepared for that day was the fear. The fear. That's
so interesting. I think that's true with a lot of
people who were rushed to hospital. I can really put
up with a lot. I've got broad shoulders and I'm
quite tough. However, when I get fearful, that's when I
get really shut down.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
The uncertainty of it all. And for women to and
her love again, we're going to elevate women as always,
women give birth. We know we wouldn't exist without them,
and that whole process. I can't imagine you're carrying a
baby it's growing, and then something can go terribly wrong
before it's born and you may not deliver the child
if they don't correct it. So, first of all, the

(15:06):
fact that we can do surgery on fetuses is amazing,
So hats off to human beings for that. But science
is amazing, isn't it. I was shocked at that story,
just that part. But I'm happy that it's all seemingly
doing well now and she's gonna have.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
A help goodness, Okay, quickly before we get a break.
What's going on with Britney Spears.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Yeah, so Britney Spears. You know, we're learning now that
there were four wellness checks at Britney Spears's home over
the engagement and marriage with her former husband Sam Mashgari.
So local police they said they visited Spears' California home
multiple times in recent years. Authorities were called to the
pop stars Sherman Thousand Oaks home and Sherman Oaks is
a different spot Thousand Oaks Home twenty one times between

(15:48):
January first, twenty nineteen, and August twentyeth, twenty twenty three.
And that's according to Ventura County Sheriff's Department records. Now
Among the most common reasons for the calls were which
you would expect in how there were suspicions or people
or vehicles at the property, right, that's how that's common
with the paparazzi. But for those calls were wellness checks.

(16:08):
Wellness checks are often triggered after a concerned party asked
law enforcement to come and check up on someone, you know,
because they're not sure if they're okay. So Spears and Ashgari,
of course, were married fourteen months only before he shocked
her by filing for divorce in August that we just
recently have passed and he cited irreconcilable differences. So you know, Rob,

(16:28):
you brought up the point last time that you know,
it's not easy sometimes being married to someone emotional distress,
and maybe that's that is part of the problem.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Part, it's all part of it. It's all part of it.
We are sending you out back, We're gonna take great
then we will be right back. Welcome back to the
nought of it night. So I'm not sure that different, Corey. Hey,
let's get to the polls. Yesterday we talked about jo
Jo and I was filing for divorce from Sophie Turner
after catching her on a camera saying or doing something

(16:58):
that made him realize that marriage was over. Our question was, well,
we ever see the tape? Let's have a look. Seventy
said yes, but it comes with a caveat if it exists.
I don't think you totally believe this tape exists. Now
I'm starting to think that too, but I do know
the following. If we don't see it, I'm definitely gonna
believe it did not happen. Okay, well with some suspicious naughties.

(17:21):
Don't forget to vote on today's Polly. Go to a
Twitter pageeck naughty nice role, but facebook page Nordy goes
it and be sure to check back on Monday to
hear your results. And now I love this. It's time for.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
So Jennifer love Hewart responds to the haters who thinks
that she's unrecognizable. You know, she's been posting these photos
of herself with her new air cut, and you know
she's set in the record street sharing that in her
Instagram stories, she's defending herself, saying that she's been using
filters and that's why she's unrecognizable. So she says so
many people said I look different, she claimed, before joking
about the face changing filters. I look the same as always,

(17:57):
couldn't look more natural. Filters don't change you that much,
she wrote sarcastically. The mom of three was accused of
getting plastic surgery after she revealed her big haircut, and
people were saying, more like Jennifer, love you, and she
looked more like Jennifer. Who there, Jennifer.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
So but I just will say I think she.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Had a nose job because I compare it both pictures
before and after, and there's visibly a different nose, So.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
Just totally different. It's not you, Jennifer, those pictures. It's
not you with those pictures. But the reason you're at
icist of the day is stand up for yourself, Okay,
stand up for yourself, Stand up for yourself. And I
think she's secretly loving this because otherwise she wouldn't respond. So, Jennifer,
I don't think you look like you, but I like
that you're standing up for yourself. Okay, I know she's
The day police have turned up at Kim Zulek's house

(18:42):
and Troy again after a verbal altercation, so they broke up.
They got back together then it turned out he owes
a million dollars to the irs. He's asking for full
custody of the kids, he wants a drug test. It's ugly,
it's messy, it's slopping, and the police are at the house.
What makes me so angry about this is that we
deserve this because we promoted these fools, all these reality

(19:03):
stars that we have rewarded for years and years and
as for awful behavior, and then we're shocked when they
bite us. Brother is shocked that Bethany Frankel is trying
to bite them. No, she's done this for a decade
and she's been rewarded for it. These reality stars. I'm
starting to turn on all of you, sick of Yeah,
that's how naughty is that the day liss end with

(19:23):
a moment of rob No act of kindness, no matter
how small, is ever wasted. Do something really kind today.
Do it for yourself. Look in the mirror and say hello, gorgeous.
Just say something nice to somebody in an elevator. Tell
somebody you like the hair, Tell somebody you like their clothes,
Tell someone you think they're cool. Tell yourself that you

(19:45):
think you were call. Just a little act of kindness,
just one one one each day, doesn't matter how small.
It's never wasted. Hey, that is it for this week.
