Speaker 1 (00:09):
Advice. Sugar's Hello, welcome to the not even Nice Sham,
your host from Shooter and it's Tuesday, which means our
dear friend, Delina Dixon joins us. Hey, Delena, are you there?
Speaker 2 (00:25):
I am.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
I've missed you and that's why we had to hang
last night.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
And what did we see?
Speaker 1 (00:30):
Oh my goodness, we went to see the premiere of
Wicked in New York City. It was you that took me.
It was your tickets. Thank you. I'm so proud to
be your day Chill plus one, your friend. We sat
there to Lena and had a blast.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
So it's part two Wicked for good, and let me
tell you it is wickedly good. First of all, it's
absolutely stunning, just color drenched. It's so so beautiful. I mean,
anybody who knows the play knows that part two or
the second act is a little darker, and this definitely is.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
But it was just so amazing.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
I'm not gonna say a word about it because I
don't want to ruin it for any fan, but it
was so good and was I grabbing on to you,
mister Shooter, like every five seconds.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
It's a beautiful movie to see with your loved ones,
with your friends, because it really is about friendship and love.
I'm not gonna give too much away, but I'll give
a little bit more. It is darker. The second act
of the musical is much darker. So all the silly campiness,
the populars and all those fun songs in Act one
which we loved, which are now in movie part one.
(01:43):
It's fantastic. This one is a much more dramatic driven plot.
And I gotta say for me, the big change between
part one and part two is this is Ariana Grandez movie.
She's the star of this.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Yeah, I'd agree with you there.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
I mean, it's really about her going through her life
change and finding why she truly can be good. So
that's all I'm gonna say. Of course, Cynthia Rivo is
amazing about her outfit goodness. Somehow I need to figure
out how to do a little magic to get that
into my class.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
We were going to work on that. We're gonna work
on it. Okay, let's jump into our show. What time
is it? My friends? It is tea time, big story
at the top of the show. So Taylor Swift is
never ever ever going to appear on Andy Cohen's show.
So Andy has been doing brather Con. That's their big
convention in Los Angeles. No, it wasn't. It was in Vegas.
This show. It was in Las Vegas. All the ladies
(02:41):
were there. Tons of news coming out, but one of
the biggest news is that Andy has finally confirmed what
we all knew that he has begged Taylor Swift to
sit down on his show for many years. He's been
asked what guests did you want to you couldn't get,
and he always said Madonna. He's a huge Madonna fan.
She's still not done the show. Well, another huge guest
who who would love to get is Taylor Swift. I
(03:02):
hit the phones to see what was going on, and
my inside has told me Taylor doesn't really like the
vibe of that show. She's a huge fan of Bravo.
But messiness, shady questions, stirring the pot, that's not who
she is. Her brand is much more about kindness and
emotional intelligence. While I'm inside, he told me, I love this.
(03:22):
She's not anti Andy, she's pro Taylor. She's intentional and
she crew curates spaces that feel safe and positive. I
love Andy's show, but one of the reasons we like
it is it's messy, it's sloppy, it stirs the pot,
it's trouble, it's the Wendy Williams show. It is a guilty,
delicious pleasure. However, if I was a guest, certainly, if
(03:46):
I was a guest of the stature of Taylor Swift,
I don't really think I need to be part of that.
It's ultimately, and this is the sentence that really killed me.
A friend someone close to Taylor told me, Ultimately, she
avoids environments that pit women against each other. And that's
(04:09):
what Bravo does. Even if we like it, we pretend
we don't. Most of us actually don't like it, but
a lot of people do. The Real Housewives, we were
just talking about the essence of Wicked being about friendship
and kindness and being different the essence of the Real Housewives.
Even if you love it, you got to admit it's
pitting women against each other. What do you think?
Speaker 3 (04:31):
Well, I watched the Bravos on Sunday night, and I mean,
when you just watching it, you could see that there
was a little messiness in that show, even with some
of the awards that they gave. Though I have to give,
you know, props to Candy Burrows for getting the Wifetime
Achievement Award for her Lifetime with Bravo. Yeah, when you
watch the Andy Cohen Show, you know he's going to
(04:53):
ask those cheeky questions and it is called live, so
you can't have publicists go back and edit it. And
I think for to she's the biggest, one of the
most powerful stars in the world. She doesn't need his platform.
The people will go on his show need his platform.
They're either they work with Bravo or maybe they have
(05:15):
a project to promote where they're trying to reach a
certain audience, and Taylor doesn't need that. And like you said,
she's not going to go on a show that kind
of promotes or is behind other programs where women are
screaming and yelling and throwing chairs. That doesn't mean she
won't watch it, because everybody likes the guilty pleasure, but
(05:35):
she's just not going to put herself in that environment totally.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Totally. When my book came out a couple of years ago,
one of the shows that I could have gone on
is Jerry Springer. I know Jerry mayhe rest in peace.
I didn't do the show just it wasn't the right
fit for the message I was trying to get out there.
I love the show. I used to watch it all
the time in Britain. That was a huge show over there.
I don't think I would do Andy's show either. I'm
no Taylor Swift, but it's just not the right fit
(06:00):
for my naughty but nice brand. I remember Perez Hilton
went on and it was the perfect fit for him
because it was really kind of snarky and they really
gossiped about people and Andy wants to know who's the
nastiest celebrity You've ever met? And all these fabulous questions,
and once again, I'm not disrespecting the questions, it's just
not what I do. I don't know if that would
be a good fit for you, mister. I can see
(06:20):
you on the Today Show and GMA. You know you
struggled with Wendy Williams for a while because that's much
more Reggie than you are. What do you think?
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Yeah, I would definitely agree.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
And look, I'm not a get you kind of girl,
right or a gotcha kind of girl. So if you're
asking me a question that's kind of controversial, it's probably
gonna make me stumble.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Now.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
I definitely learned on our shows show the Gossip Table,
how to handle those kinds of questions, but it's just
not a place that I want to put myself. And
when people were like, oh, I give asked this question
a lot, I'm sure you do too. It's not who
is the nicest celebrity. It's always like who is the
meanest someone?
Speaker 2 (06:57):
And I do.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
I do have some answers per pre most of those
people I wouldn't have to worry about anymore. But it's
just that's human nature. We love messy and that's just
not the way my mama brought me up.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
That's right, mysta, And I'm not judging it, I'm really not.
I'm thinking here of a bigger message though, Norties. This
is where it applies to all of us. Not all
of us are going to sit down on talk shows.
A lot of us don't even want to. However, you
do decide who you sit down with at bottina, is
that your favorite bar, at your favorite restaurant. Make sure
that people you are sitting with are people that you enjoy,
(07:33):
are people that don't push you too far, that make
you uncomfortable. Think of it like that, think of your
friends that just ask the most inappropriate questions, you don't
want to sit with them. And that's why Taylor will
probably never sit down with Andy Cohen, which brings us
to our whole question of the day. Teller Sift has
not appeared and will not appear on Andy Cohen's Bravo show.
(07:55):
Is this smart? Or is it Taylor being a bit
shady on our Twitter page? I had Nordine Ice Ram
Facebook page. Is Nordy gossip? I'm sure to check back
down my row to hear your results. Hey, Misty Letty,
you looking.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
On It's all about Bethany Frankel talking about Real housewives.
So she's devastated. Let me tell you why. She threw
a fifty fifth birthday party. And it was supposed to
be so glamorous, very Michelle ceipheresque. And she invited all
the A list to her party, this event in Miami.
(08:31):
Here's the thing, none of them showed up. No A lister,
So so she spent weeks kind of curing what she
would hope be the star Pack guest list, even hinting
online that the party would change the game. But she
was left stune when no major celebrities walked through the door.
She thought she could pull like a Chris Jenner who
just celebrated her seven dayth and everybody showed up, But no, nothing.
(08:55):
I mean the biggest guest was Kim Kardashian, Hey a girl.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Chris Appleton.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
And here's the worst part. Talk about friendship. What you
just said. Every real house frights from every franchise. There
wasn't even a flower arrangement, not a card, nothing, and
speaks volumes.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
You know. Bethany Frank, she's really trouble and she's really
hard to get along with. And we saw on her
show on the reality show on the Real Housewive, she
fell out with everybody. It started with Jill Sarahen, Carol
rad Sowell, Kelly ben Simone, like really ugly, ugly fight
with people who were her friends on the show. Anybody
that is constantly falling out with their friends should sit
(09:38):
down and figure out, Hey, it's me, it's not them.
If you feel like one person could be them, two
people maybe, but the time you get to three or
four people, you're the problem. If three or four people
are not speaking to me, mister, I'm the problem. If
you just one or two, But I don't think Bethany
will will ever realize that. It makes me sad. I'm
no fan of Bethany Frankels, but birthdays can be rough,
(09:59):
and I know that Bethany needs desires once famous people around,
and that is something that she really needs. I don't
care that much. It wouldn't make my birthday if her
celebrity walked in. In fact, it would ruin it. I'd rather
just be with my friends. But Bethany lives for the cameras.
We've seen the pictures she's put up on Instagram. She's
incapable of having a quiet birthday with her friends and
(10:22):
her family. That isn't how she rolls. She wants to
be Chris Jenna. She wants to be Andy Cohen. And
it's ironic that while this huge festival is going on
in Vegas, Bethany is by herself almost in Florida. But
you did it yourself when you bite the hand that
feeds you, when you were so mean to everybody. They're
going to go away, and remember too, she attacked Andy Cohen,
(10:45):
and all the housewives need to be nice and they
want to be on team Andy. They're not going to
betray it and and so they're being really careful. Bethany,
you ain't gonna win. This one makes me sad though. Okay,
moving along, top designers are fed up. Meghan Markle is
not returning her clothes fast enough. So Megan Mokel borrows
a lot of clothes. So does every other celebrity in Hollywood.
(11:07):
No shame there. However, when you borrow clothes, she meant
to get them back really really quickly. I eat the
next day. Megan drags her feet a little bit. I'm
not saying she's stealing. She is absolutely not. I'm not
saying she's holding on to them like a hostage. No,
she just doesn't have the infrastructure. If we've learned anything
about Meghan from her businesses, they're messy, they're not well
(11:30):
put together. The people around her are not giving her
good advice. And this goes down to the person too
that's filling out the FedEx form. When you borrow stuff,
it is an agreement between the fashion house and the celebrity,
and the style is that you're borrowing it and you
need to get it back quickly, and you need to
get it back in good condition. Don't you be getting
the messy dress back covered in red wine or whatever else.
(11:53):
I don't think Meghan's messy, but she ain't fast Meghan.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
Oh okay, Well, hopefully she listens to our show and
she realizes this is why you have assistance.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
And their job is to get ish back on time.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
So if you know, I know, you have kids and
you're running your businesses, and you've got our prints running
around the house, and you know, husbands can be they
can be a full time job.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
A girl, get your team.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Once you take that dress off, their job is to
pick it up off the floor or the couch or
wherever you laid it carefully of course, and put it
in that fed Ex package. Tell them to have those
packages ready before the dress arrives. All they gotta do
is pop it in, or you don't, get on their
little bike and ride it back to the show house. Girl,
do not give people the ammunition, but for something as
(12:43):
simple as this to say she don't know how to
return her stuff on time, Come on, girl.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Get it, get it.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Together, Get it together. And there's only one of those dresses.
It's not like when you and I get to Maceis
and this ten dresses on a rack. There's only one
and they want to send that to a fashion shoot
that makes or another event. And so these dresses that
are worth thousands and thousands, sometimes tens of thousands of dollars,
they're lying in Megan's Montecito fabulous compound, and no, they
(13:12):
should be back at the showroom. What's gonna happen, Megan,
is if you don't play by the rules, people are
gonna stop lending you the really good stuff. Okay, quickly,
before we get a break, we have a midlife christis here,
melt Dan Sasha Baron Cohen. What is going on with you?
Speaker 3 (13:29):
Well, you know, he's split from Isla Fisher and he's
just in this age reversal spiral. You know, he wants
to be youthful again. So he's listening to like twenty
something influencers. He's all into gen zy culture. But here's
the part that scares me a little bit. It's diet drugs,
you know. So he's been doing the girls, the music,
the late nights, chasing youth like it's a sport. So
(13:52):
one of our sources tell us this is some of
the things he's been doing. And he's fixated on hardcore
diet and fitness routine. Okay, you know you want to
be in the best shape of your life. Obsessive clean
eating and calorie tracking. It's important, but when it becomes obsessive,
it's a problem. Cutting edge, weight loss drugs hmmmm, not
crazy about that one. Endless workouts, baby doll. You in
(14:15):
your fifties, you got to rest.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
It's part of me.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
Look, the body is not twenty five and they or
twenty five anymore, even if you think it is only
listening to gen Z playlists.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Okay, you know you want to be in the know.
I get that.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
And clubbing until three am. Look, honey, you cannot be
living this fitness life and try to be all healthy
and then going out and clubbing with the babies.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
Until three am.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
Your mine might be twenty five, but your body's fifty four.
You need to go to bed eleven pm. You need
to be in that bed so you are nice and
fresh in the morning and y'all looking like you're twenty five.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
Take it from someone who knows.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Take you for someone who knows. I don't want to
be twenty five. I love being fifty. Missteve. We were
talking about this last night at the premiere. There were
tons of influencers there very young people with their phones
and they glow lights and their's statues. It was lovely
to see them. I don't miss it. I don't want
to do it. I did it. I love my piece
of the pie. I'm happy in my moments. It's great
(15:11):
to be healthy, it's great to eat well, it's great
to get good sleep. It's lovely to work out, But
I don't want to be club until three am with
twenty year old.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
I so get you.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
And you know what the best part of that we
saw all these young people, but they were going up
to a woman who was of a certain age. That's right,
paying reverence.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
Right.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
So the thing is you have to embrace that you've
reached a stage in life where you have wisdom, where
you just you know who you are inside and out,
and you know what know who you are inside and out.
You can look like you're twenty five, but embrace the
fact that you have lived this long and that you
have something to give back to the world. And there's
always going to be a young person who thinks they
(15:52):
know about her. But like they say in that new movie,
now you see Me, Now, you don't age and wisdom
it trumps youth and audacity.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
Oh Aim, then Misty, Okay, we're gonna take a quick
break and we will be right back. Welcome back to
the Naughty but Nice. Sha'm your host from you to
hey Misty, let's get to the polls DA DA talk
about Britney Spears was not invited to Chris Jenna's big
seventieth birthday bash. Was this the right decision or the
wrong decision? Or? Eighty three percent said the right decision.
(16:27):
Brittany's just not good in big crowds. She's been spending
a lot of one on one time with Kim hanging
out with her. Brittany needs a friend. Kim's going to
be a great friend, but these big birthday bashes. I
agree with you. Naughty is not the right fit for Brittany. Hey,
don't forget to vote on today's poll. Go to our
page I had Naughty Nice rob our facebook pages Naughty
(16:47):
Gaussia and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear
your results are. Now it's time for an nice of
the day. Now, well, I know this.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
Of the day is Tom Cruise and it's it's because
he's actually vulnerable, so you know, look, he looked polished
and unshaken when he was accepting his honorary Oscar at
the Governor Awards this weekend. But you know, our insiders
tell us that the Titan unraveled the moment he stepped
off stage. You know, he held it together under the light,
but when the curtain closes, he just stopped. His eyes
(17:21):
teared up, he was wiping them fast, and he didn't
want anyone to notice. And the reason why is for Cruz,
the one career truth is he's never won a competitive
oscar and he's done some really serious dramatic roles and
he wants one desperately. This is your colleagues, you know,
(17:41):
telling you that you have done a really amazing job
at your job, and we all want that. So he
told people's stage he's not done. This wasn't a farewell,
this was fuel. He's sixty three years old, he's ready
for that role that's going to turn him to the
next stage.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
I mean, it was amazing.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
You know, Brendan Fraser is killing it right now, so
you gotta follow what he's doing. Those emotional movies that
just tug in your heartstring.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. It just gets to show you, you think,
a man who has it all cannot stop for a
minute and appreciate it. So good for you, Tom, And
now I noticed the day naughty, naughty. There's been a
horrible break in in Los Angeles. Kathy Hilton and Sutton
Strack were both robbed while they were at Bravo Con,
so two Beverly Hills housewives. They were at Bravo con.
(18:32):
The police are looking into this now. Because they were
so public that they were away, the criminals figured out
this might be the time to break into their houses.
There's a message here. Be careful what you put on
social media. Be careful when you tell the world that
you're not home for two days three days a week.
This makes you very vulnerable. Member. When Kim Kardashian that
(18:54):
horrific incident in Paris, when she was tied up and robbed,
and a lot of people talked about her social media presence,
just be more thoughtful here. I do not want to
blame the victim, but be more thoughtful. Okay, let's end
with a moment of rob Stay close to people who
make you feel like it is good to be yourself.
(19:17):
You know you're in the right company when you can breathe,
when you can be real, when you don't have to shrink,
and you don't have to edit yourself to fit in.
The people who celebrate you, Misty, not just tolerate you.
They are gold. And that's where confidence grows, that's where
peace lives, That's where you belong. I love hanging with you,
(19:39):
Misty because it's so comfortable, it's so easy. I never
have to worry about, Oh, what are we going to
talk about. We're gonna run out of things to say, Like,
find those people in your world and hold onto them. Yeay,
single one. Okay, that is it for today. Thank you
so much for listening to the Naughty but Nice with
Rob and Miss d Show, a production of iHeartRadio and
(20:01):
Elvis Durant. Don't forget to subscribe on the iHeartRadio app,
Apple podcast wherever you listen, leave us a review if
you can. And once again, thank you to everybody that
has pre ordered my book started with a whisper on Amazon.
These pre orders really matter. The reason I'm being so
aggressive about this is it really will change the success
of this book. If you have a minute to day
(20:22):
and you can go to Amazon, type in Rob Shooter,
type in it started with a whisper, and you can
pre order the book today and it will be delivered
when it comes out next year. So thank you again
to everybody who has done that. Hey, let's end with
tagline are you ready everybody? If you're going, it's starting,
(20:44):
but nice with ra
