Bobbie and Liam find themselves in a much darker timeline back in the 2020s, where Dante Diamond has become an unstoppable force in the music industry and converted the rink into a museum honoring himself. In this timeline, Liam doesn’t exist, and Nicki has become a one-hit-wonder under the stage name “Summer Raines.” Just as they begin to lose hope, a voicemail from Nicki appears on their phones.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey, time travelers. This has Heather iron Horn, co creator
of Nicki Fixes Time Mix Up. Next be kind and
rewind to the nineties for a most epic episode of
Nicki Fix. But first, a quick word from our sponsor,
iron Horn's Epic Productions and I Heart Radio present Nikki

(00:21):
Fixes Time mix I think we see it, Nicky. Back
to the future, Baby, Liam, She's not here. She didn't

(00:46):
make it through. What what are you talking about? Look around?
She didn't come. She said she would and then she didn't. Okay, okay,
let's calm down. Don't tell me to calm down. My
us friend ditched me, and not just like for a night,
across decades. We don't know that. We must have done

(01:08):
something right, or else the portal wouldn't have opened to
begin with. She let go of my hand, liab, Hey, hey, hey,
listen to me. Maybe I know what I felt. I
know what I saw. She let oh my aunts. She

(01:29):
was acting weird. I should have seen it. She was
excited about Leonard getting her that show and playing in
front of a big audience like she always wanted. Bobby.
We don't know that yet. The time portals aren't necessarily
a street shot from point A to point B. For
all we know, Nikki is nearby looking for us. Look around.

(01:52):
What do you see where in a parking lot, just
any parking lot. It's um, it's the lot next to
the rink, exactly. We're right where we left. Nikki's probably
around here somewhere, maybe over at the rink, wondering where
we are. Let's hope so, because if she really stayed
back in the nineties without me, I don't know if

(02:14):
I can never forgive her. Do you hear that? Yeah?

(02:36):
I think it's coming from the rink. Do you know
what that means? We saved the rink. Come on, Bobby,
let's go check it out. Woa. It's massive. Looks like
there's been major renovations. There's so many lights. It's almost
like a stadium. That's way too big of a change

(02:59):
for Ben who have made on his own. Oh, Bobby,
look at the sign Diamond and Records Hall of Fame.
Do you know what this means? Liam? It means my dad,
don'te Diamond still bought the rank After everything we did.
The rink is now whatever this is we are We

(03:21):
may have screwed up done, Uncle Diamond. They had your
favorite celebrity perfect a party including her. We literally time
traveled and got the money to help. Then by the building,
and somehow your dad still got what he wanted. Everything

(03:44):
we did was for nothing. He turned the rink into
a temple to himself. I know it's been said that Liam,
your dad is the worst. Yeah, I get that. Come on,
let's go inside and see if we can find Nick.
Here the tack at Kiosks, our card should finally work again.
It's your stupid dad. You pay yeah, fair enough. That

(04:13):
doesn't sound good. What the heck it at my card?
If we pack my card, Liam, look at the screen. Error,
No such person? What a stupid machine? I right here? God, hey,

(04:35):
hey cut out, hold it right there? What are you doing? Sorry? Sorry,
we didn't mean it. It at my card? Who uses
cards anymore? What are you gonna do next? Try to
pay in cash gold to blowns. Just pay with diamond
coin like everybody else. Diamond coin, yeah, Dante diamonds crypto

(05:00):
oc currency. How original? And actually is there a cash
pay option? I was joking, but yeah, right by the door.
But it doesn't make change. It rounds up. So, like
my dad, can I ask you a question? Shoot? What
happened to the rink that used to be here? And
what year to this museum open? And do you have

(05:21):
the day today? And have you seen another girl about
our rage hanging around here? Plenty of kids come through.
It's a popular place and the exhibits will tell you
the entire history. One more thing, I want to know
what you mean by Dante? Are you asking me all
these questions? Do I look like a tour God? Go

(05:42):
in solid? Right? Right? Everything is so sleet and shiny
and clean, really clean and right? And oh wow, look

(06:08):
at that? Oh a hologram of the old drink being
rest if I weren't angry. Sintos opening in nineteen fifty
two as a roller rinks iconic Landmard has been a
treasure for the community of Old Brittney. Hard Show during
seen years of the ninety nineties almost brought it a
drink when a legendary for concerned Johntay div accepted and

(06:31):
shake the entry with the very first divand day of
the Night. What started as Johntay grassroots efforts of famous
community turned in through a multi national entergy human company
that has become the part of the Old British economy.
What a little bull. It doesn't even mention Ben or

(06:52):
what really happens in It's like all of sick revisionist mystery. Bobby,
Look at this what this photo? It's a Leonard at
the rink, but it says it says Dante Diamond. Leonard

(07:14):
was Dante Diamond? WHOA Leonard was? Was my dad the
whole time? Oh yikes? How much plastic surgery? Did he
really have a lot? Apparently he's unrecognizable as Leonard. No,
I can't believe it either, No leam, Look do you

(07:39):
see what I'm seeing? Nicky? That's Nicki on stage at
Leonard show. Look it doesn't say Nicky fix, it says
Summer Rains. See performance by Summer Rains at the first
Diamond Days and Nights Music Festival. Oh man, now that

(08:01):
I think about it, all the clues were there. Leonards
the one who started putting ideas into Nicky's head that
stage out that she was wearing the weird backup band.
He probably promised her the moon to stay back there,
to stay behind in the nineties. Look here she is
at the second festival a year later. Isn't that her

(08:23):
Papa Kevin umstage to Para blak bass and an angry
looking damn on the side of the stage. Yes, that's
definitely keV and that's Nickie, not our version of Nikki.
So like a Barbie version of herself. That's who Summer
Rains really is. Sta corruption of apparent and great by

(08:45):
cover Rain during her ride her number one spelling recording artist. Gosh, Bobby, Yes,
it's the rink Itto. It's still here. Oh, thank goodness.
Do you think we can still use it again to
go back? If it has the time too strings it
gives us a fighting chance to open the portal again.

(09:07):
Now that's the guitar. Nothing play have been temporarily remembered
her nat no air Auttic Africa. How is a replica authentic?
Nothing about this place is authentic. It's all a mistake
or is it what Nikki? Don't say it? Bobby, I
think you're right. Nicky stayed back in the nineties on purpose.

(09:31):
Worse than that, she became a star and had her
music heard by millions of people. Nicky didn't just stay
behind in the nineties, she changed the entire timeline. Hey
Nicky stands. Want to uncover more epic time travel secrets?

(09:55):
Head to e EP universe on Instagram and TikTok for
more totally twisty detail else more. NICKI Fix is up next,
But first a quick word from our sponsor. Hey, time Travelers,
welcome back. I want to uncover more totally twisty time

(10:16):
travel secrets. Head to e ep universe dot com to
learn more. I told you Nikki let go of my hand,
and you didn't want to believe it. She chose not
to step through the portals. Kind of best friend abandoned

(10:38):
you like that. We were supposed to do the music
thing together, the two of us. I am so naive.
I didn't even care if she let me play drums
or not, or how famous she got. I was supposed
to be her rider die. Whatever happened, we were supposed
to go through it together. I'm sorry, Bobby, I just

(11:01):
thought I'm a race the first they go with Platinum
in the summer of ninety seven, to be having the
first breakout hits from the visionary producer's Dante's Diamond. Her
name is Nikki. Look at all these fake phony photos.
You I know what I mean? Mainstream? Is this mainstream
or not? Well? Yeah, I guess you could say Nikki

(11:25):
is a sellout. I mean, I always knew she was
chasing trends, but I always thought she'd land on her
own thing when she made it instead, big fat, freaking hypocrite.
She's a lawyer, and I never want to see her again.
Summer rain help sell out hundreds of concerts as a
headline air for the Diamond Days and Nights global tour,
and continues to do so. I'm a Rain. I'm a Rain,

(11:50):
but I'm a Rain. Shut up, the stupid piece of
eye trash. I don't want to rain. Summer Raines has
no integrity, it's no loyalty. She's heartless. I'm a right.
Do you hear me? Rain? Shut up? Shut up, shut out.
I'm a Rain. You were supposed to be best friend forever. Bobby, Please,
you have to chill out up. You don't shut up right,

(12:12):
I'll make you. Hey, what's going to rain here? Oh? Great?
You two again. Now you're disturbing the peace. Where is
Summer Rains? I demand you bring me to her right now.
I have a few things I need to say to her.
You think you're the first fan to want to meet
Summer Rains here, but sure she'll be happy to meet you.

(12:36):
All you have to do is by yourself a super
fan meet and greet package for her next show. It'll
only cost you five per person, on top of the
front row tickets and the b I P backstage pass
upgrade you need to buy first to qualify. Easy peasy.
This is ridiculous. Is Dante Diamonds here today? I need

(12:58):
to see him? Check out this comedy duo over here?
What's your name? Because when I tell my father Dante Diamond,
how you've been treating me and my friend, you won't
be laughing. Then, nice dry buddy. What everybody knows Dante
has no kids. What do you need? No kids? I'm

(13:21):
right here. I'm Liam mccowski. I'm Dante's son. While I
find you two, Dondo's amusing. My boss is instructing me
to throw you out, So goodbye, let's go. I'm telling
you the truth. I'm not come up. Keep it okay, okay,

(13:48):
And don't you delinquents even think about coming back here?
Oh right, and thank you for attending the Diamond Center
Museum and Historical Society. Historical Society, my foot, you're a
bunch of line liars, no lie. You smell like a
closet full of und washed wrestling mats, but a bunch

(14:12):
of jerks. Bobby, did you hear she said that Dante
Diamond doesn't have a son? Bobby? Do I exist? Am
I here? I think I am, But I don't exist.
Who ho whoa, whoa whoa. We m You're real. I'm real.

(14:32):
We're both real as real as it gets. It's this
world that isn't real. I told you all, don't mess
with anything. I said. We can't change anything, be careful
because we don't know what would happen. Well, here's what
the consequences are. I'm not even a person. I know.

(14:53):
I wish that I hadn't been born, but I meant
that metaphorically. Wait, wait for what? That's what's happening? Here?
What what's happening? Don't you see? This is rich? But
I should have known the minute we went back. Hello, Liam,

(15:13):
clew me in here. The rink gave us our wishes.
But this isn't home. This isn't where we were supposed
to wind up. Saving the rink was supposed to fix things,
but we didn't save it obviously, and saving the rink
isn't actually what we wished for. I wished I was

(15:36):
never born Nicky wished for her music career to take
off even without the rink. Oh wow, you're right, and
you you didn't say you said that it wouldn't come
true if you told us what did you wish for, Bobby?
What I wished to save the rink like we all

(15:58):
should have. Hey, don't walk away, Bobby. You gotta tell
me the truth? What truth? I to Come on, Bobby,
look around you, Bobby. Please, we've completely messed up our
own timeline. We've lost Nikki. Everything's wrong, and if we're

(16:24):
going to fix this, I need to know what wish
you got granted, because we both know it wasn't saving
the rink. I wish that what I said, I wished
that Nikki needed me as much as I need her.
Are you happy, Bobby? I wish that my best friend

(16:47):
couldn't just roll on with her life like nothing was
the matter if I wasn't there, like I actually mattered
to her, because I wouldn't know what to do without her.
I guess what, That's not what happened. She went on
and became some incredible, super famous singer without me. Instead
of my wish coming true, this stupid, useless rink gave

(17:10):
me my worst fear. Instead, it showed me how great
Nikki's life would be without me. Nikki doesn't need me now,
she never needed me at all. Oh, now that's way
are wrong? Oh my god, poor Sorry, we didn't mean

(17:32):
we didn't know you lived here, sir, Will Nikki needs
you now more than ever. Wait, Ben, Ben, is that you.
No one around here sees the world the way it's
supposed to be. Everything is wrong, but you two are
wrong for everything? Then, Oh, thank goodness, it is you.

(17:55):
What are you doing out here? And what happened to
the rake? And what happened to you? You? Never we
can find Nicki? Nikki? M No, you're not Nikki. I know, Ben,
I'm Bobby. Do you remember? Here's the truth. Diamond Records
is a lie. This whole world is a lie. But

(18:17):
I have the keys. I made these from the floor bloets.
You and that girl were skating together. I said, it
inspired me. It's the last piece I made before they
took over and kicked me out. Yes, that other girl,

(18:40):
Nikki or Summers or whoever, how can we find her?
She buys some pieces from me, sometimes not in a
long time, says to just hang on and all will
be set right, Patience, she says. Then something would wrong,
very wrong when we time traveled again. We need to

(19:03):
go back and fix it. Do you know where Nicki is?
Where the guitar you made is? Do you want to
buy some of my covings? I almost have enough money
to buy my rink back. I'm gonna see it with
the concert. Then no, we oh, Ben, what have they

(19:27):
done to you? Find the fix? In nineties six? Stay
away to heaven? Let him go, Bobby, He's not the
bend me now. The only way we can help him
is by fixing what we screwed up in the first place.
We have to find someone else that knows me, like

(19:47):
Dan and keV. They were in some of those photos.
Let's go to Nikki's house. Dan grew up there too,
so he must still be there. Are you out of

(20:09):
your mind? Who the heck are you? Someone better be dead.
We need to speak with Nikki immediately. Who the heck
is Nikki? Nikki? Please you have to know her? You
and keV? keV, don't you mention that that no good
dream chasing soul crusher. He's been dead to me since

(20:30):
the moment he walked out on my life when he
decided being a session player or a roadie or whatever
it was more important than staying here with me, and
then what coming back once every three months and expecting
me to still be here. I never should have followed
him to the city. So you're not with Kevin anymore?

(20:51):
And you two never adopted a baby girl? Did you adopted? What?
Are you out of your mind? Did he send you
here looking for his stuff or something? Look? I chucked
all that out a long time ago. No, we're here
for Nikki. I still don't know who that is. Strange
doorstep person, Summer Rains. We're here to speak to Summer Rains.

(21:14):
Oh why didn't you say so? Yeah? I got her
own speed do really? No? Not really, yikes, Summer Rains.
I forgot. She went by Nikki way back when we
first met m But I haven't spoken to Summer since
she convinced keV to go on tour with her. But

(21:37):
of course she wound up screwing him over too, of
course she did. Do you know where she is? We
really have to find her. I guess if she's not
on a tour or whatever, you could probably find her
a Dante Diamonds estate. But good luck getting in there
and next time, knock politely. You're sending my blood pressure

(22:00):
the roof. Ah, what are we going to do now?
If we can't reach Summer or Nikki or whoever she
is now, we could be stuck in this messed up
timeline forever. You heard Dan, he said to try my
dad's estate, you know, my house. I'm sure we can

(22:21):
figure a way in, hopefully. Well, so far it looks
the same as in our time. I didn't know you

(22:42):
lived in a gated property, Leam. Yeah, well, it makes
life both easy and hard in different ways. Dante Diamond's resident, Hello,
I live here. I'm here to see my father, Dante Diamond. Frank,
so I'm not taken lightly here you are? Isn't a prank?
Tell him his past has come back to haunt him.

(23:05):
Dante has no children, and if you have no appointment,
these gates will not open. My advice is get off
the premises now. All right, we're going. A part of
me thought it would work, like maybe I was illegitimate

(23:26):
or something in this timeline, But I think it's really true.
I'm not real it's gonna be okay, We're going to
figure this out. Just I'm not real I'm I'm not
I'm not real. If I'm not real and I don't exist,

(23:47):
what is time? Who am I? How am I out
of time? Oh? God, my my head is spinning. I
can't be. If I'm not me, then who am I? Liam?
Please listen, Just breathe with me like this one two three? Great?

(24:14):
No exhale one two three? Who do that a few
more times? It always helps me. We're going to figure
this out, I promise. And we still need a place
to sleep and regroup, and we have one place left
to try, my house. Okay, but what if there's no

(24:36):
you either or two bobbies you Bobby and you from
this timeline Bobby well Cross the Evil Bobby Bridge. When
we get to it, M Hello, Mom, Dad? Anyone home? Hello?

(25:08):
The key still works. That's a good sign. Come in.
I don't think anyone's home, Probably at work or something. Look,
there's a posted note dinner in the oven. Will be
home late, wine tasting, Sorry sweetie, x so, x So,
Mom and Dad. I guess I still exist, but I

(25:31):
guess my future baby sibling doesn't. That makes me kind
of sad. Actually everything is different. Okay, Well, the coast
is clear for now, and I don't hear any other
means around. Come on, let's go up to my room.
You can sit anywhere. Thanks. My room is pretty much

(25:55):
the same, so maybe I'm pretty much the same, except
no Nikki any of my pictures. That's weird. My whole
life used to be Nikki. You're really neat. I'm not messy,
but this is actually neater than I am usually. Well,
I meant, never mind, I really appreciate you helping me

(26:20):
get my head on straight. Back there. It's gotta be overwhelming.
I'm sure like being back in the nineties was one thing,
but coming back to not even you know anyway? That
breathing trick always calms me down. You've really been What

(26:40):
I mean to say is, oh, we should charge our phones.
I bet they work now. How have we been back
this long without even thinking about our phones? Give me yours,
I'll charge it too. Oh yeah, yeah here, huh weird,
yours just says no simcard, I guess because I don't exist.

(27:06):
If you ever wanted to rob a bank, now's your chance.
I'll never find you. Did it. You sure got a
lot of messages while you were traveling back in time.
