Speaker 1 (00:00):
Time for news. What's trending?

Speaker 2 (00:01):
If you've been having trouble sleeping, then maybe you need
to slip into a potato bed.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
TikTok is here for the people.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Sounds amazing, Yes it does. TikTok is here for the people,
and potato beds are trending. And I'll tell you exactly
what that means in just a second. But first, if
you're looking to make some extra cash this holiday season,
the holiday dream job is arrived. Your job is to
watch twenty five holiday movies and you will get twenty
five hundred dollars.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Wait, what not bad at all?

Speaker 2 (00:27):
It comes with streaming subscriptions, a plush blanket, and another
twenty five hundred dollars donated to a charity of your choice.
What so you just have to apply cabletv dot com.
It's year would be called the Chief of cheer apol.
Isn't that so cute? You're the coc the chief of cheer?

(00:48):
Can I just be a self proclaimed cooc?

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Wait?

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Do you get extra money if you already have all
the subscriptions?

Speaker 1 (00:53):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
You could probably ask can I get paid back? Or
maybe like negotiate?

Speaker 4 (00:57):
I bought a lot of them when I was drunk
and that got the yearly contract.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Also for what for?

Speaker 4 (01:02):
Like I think I got like my Disney, I got
my Hulu, I got my.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Not that Hbo though, because I could use a lot
of I do got the Hbo. Yeah that one is
my dad's, but.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
That he doesn't mind.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Right now, you share sharing is carrying anyway if you
do want to apply for the COEC job, applications are
closed on December fourth.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
But you said cabletv dot com.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Cabletv dot com, that's what it was.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Is there a slash?

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Nope, just says cable tv dot com. Is it not opening?

Speaker 1 (01:28):
It opens, but it's not the thing.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Well, if this is kind of okay, thank you. The
Ford Motor Company is partnering with Amazon. If you're looking
for a used vehicle, it may be just as easy
as opening an app, which I think it is in
a lot of places. But maybe this means you can
get it on Prime and delivered the next day.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
I don't know. Yeah, I heard it gonna be able
to start buying cars on Amazon. Now, yeah, what what's
that one? On a car?

Speaker 4 (01:55):
I've always wanted to go to one of those, but
only because I've seen they look like vending machines. Yeah,
and you could literally just like type which one you
want and it just comes down.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
And you're actually buying those cars, right, those aren't rentals.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
I think you can do both. That's say you do both,
like you can like rent it and buy. I might
be wrong, but.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Well, just I guess Amazon's trying to get in that
carvan a game with Ford.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
So do you think you could?

Speaker 4 (02:16):
If it's Amazon, can you return it within like the
thirty days if you don't like it?

Speaker 1 (02:20):
That'd be dope. Also, yeah, but then what do you do?

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Like I take my Amazon like to Whole food So
what am I gonna drop the car and the Whole
Foods parking lot and they just gonna ship it back
from your Like maybe I love Amazon because i't.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Have paper ship it. You just have to have the
little QR code. So maybe so get on there and
new car it is. I kind of like that. Well,
if all of that sounds exhausting to you, then you
need to get yourself in a potato bed. So TikTok
has created this new trend where basically you take the
fitted sheet on your bed and you flip it over
and you stuff those little stretchy corners with pillows and blankets.

(02:58):
So you're basically making yourself in to a baked potato. Yeah,
and taking off your sheets too, But you're wrapping yourself
in your sheets.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
But they're not on the bed.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
It is on the bed.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
It's still on the bed, it's just over them.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
I don't like that. It looks it is organized, and
my brain is organized enough. I need my bed to
be organized.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
I mean, this is just kind of like swaddling yourself,
isn't it.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
But then you have pillows scattered around your bed, your
sheet is flipped over, and it's like a mess.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
I have big dust minde allergies, so it sounds like
death to me. It sounds like being wrapped in my
sheets will literally probably kill me.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Let's not do that.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Please stay free.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
That is what's streading.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
