Speaker 2 (00:46):
The paper shield of skinny.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
Arms ouch Man, burn City.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Oh who are you laughing at?
Speaker 4 (00:56):
Your arms are barely bigger than Aiden's and your twice
is a Oh hey.
Speaker 5 (01:01):
Now I'm a skinny bite choice dude, I'm already super
intimidating as it is. If I had big muscles, everyone
would be too afraid to even talk to me.
Speaker 6 (01:12):
Oh yeah, right, Can we focus and talk about why
my shield is so bad?
Speaker 7 (01:18):
Well, that's just it, kid, It's not a bad shield
at all. It's just a level three shield.
Speaker 8 (01:25):
Oh so it's not the shield that's bad, it's me.
Speaker 7 (01:28):
No, No, no, don't look at it like that. You're
just starting out. You're gonna get a lot stronger. Now
what abilities does your shield have?
Speaker 6 (01:37):
Well, let's see, it gives plus two points to defense
and a ten percent chance to dodge any attacks.
Speaker 7 (01:44):
That's actually pretty decent for level three kid, keep it.
Every little bit helps, Yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:49):
I guess.
Speaker 6 (01:51):
Oh, but I get to choose a skill from the
folk too. Let's see what my choices are. Hmmm, acorn storm,
strong roots or natural resistance.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
Say what run that by me again?
Speaker 8 (02:08):
Natural resistance, it says.
Speaker 6 (02:10):
Whoever I use it on won't be affected by most
debuffs and ailments, whatever those are.
Speaker 8 (02:17):
WHOA, what is that good? What are de buffs and ailments?
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Sorry?
Speaker 7 (02:24):
Kid, I keep forgetting how new you are at this.
De Buffs are things enemies might hit you with that
make you less effective in battle. They can make your
strength go down, your defenses go down. They can make
you slower, things like that, jah.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
De buffs can be nasty.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Bro and ailments can be even worse.
Speaker 4 (02:42):
Ailments can poison you and make you feel sick, or
make it hard to see, or even make it impossible
for you to move.
Speaker 8 (02:48):
Whoa, And this skill can keep me safe from all
of that.
Speaker 7 (02:52):
Well, the skill said most, but still that's pretty amazing.
It's your choice, kid, but that's definitely the one I take.
Speaker 8 (03:00):
Sounds good to me. Natural resistance it is.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
You may level up?
Speaker 8 (03:08):
Oh yeah, no more level three for me. Say hello
to level five, Aiden, Pork.
Speaker 4 (03:15):
Have you ever seen anything like this, someone gaining more
than one level at a time without even gaining experience points?
Speaker 7 (03:21):
Nope, never seen nothing like it. Aiden might be stronger
than even you two before long.
Speaker 8 (03:27):
Oh well, I don't know about that, all right, Pork.
Where's our next side quest?
Speaker 9 (03:38):
Oh gosh, poor thing.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
How in the world did she wander all the way
out here near the edge of the swamp?
Speaker 5 (03:43):
Oh no, dude, the farmer said she'd been missing for daiso.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
What I don't get is why is this a level
five quest?
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Because Marco, it's not an ordinary cow. It's a una cow, remember, really,
mystical creature.
Speaker 7 (04:01):
Oh yeah, my bed, you're doing great, kid. Just get
that rope looped around to then you'll be able to
wrap it around a tree and give her enough help
to pull her out of the mud. We'd help you out,
but remember we can't if we want to make sure
you get the equipment reward.
Speaker 8 (04:17):
Yeah, I got it. Don't worry, girl, I got youa
We'll get you out of here in no time.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
I'll say one thing about Aiden. The kid doesn't give up,
he might not be such a bad addition to our
team after all, told.
Speaker 7 (04:31):
You didn't I?
Speaker 2 (04:35):
Oh great?
Speaker 8 (04:36):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (04:36):
Oh that time thief ladies back?
Speaker 3 (04:40):
What was her name? A shimmer?
Speaker 2 (04:42):
It's a glimmer?
Speaker 3 (04:44):
You ow same difference?
Speaker 7 (04:47):
Do that? What do you want?
Speaker 9 (04:48):
Well? I was fine with leaving you alone because I
don't believe you're any threat to Master Glitch. But Master
Glitch was angry with me about that, so I'm back
to stop you for good.
Speaker 8 (04:59):
What's going on? Were there? Everything? Okay?
Speaker 7 (05:02):
You keep doing your thing over that kid? Say that
you and a cow will take care of this?
Speaker 9 (05:07):
Oh will you now? Both? Well?
Speaker 5 (05:13):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (05:16):
What hepy? She did something to slow down you guys, sound.
Speaker 9 (05:40):
Man, And now that you're all nice and slowed down,
I'll have no trouble defeating you.
Speaker 8 (05:46):
I don't think so natural resistance.
Speaker 7 (05:55):
Hey, we're back to normal.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
Thanks, kid, looks like you're new skilled works.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Fine, we'll do this the hard way.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Here she comes, bad move man. You're in nature, and
nature is mikassa brawl.
Speaker 8 (06:13):
Fine, grab.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Get these vines off me.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
Good job, Marco. Hold her friend right there while I
show her who she's dealing with.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Fourth wave.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Nika, what are you doing? Why are you waving your
arms like that?
Speaker 2 (06:38):
I'm building a wind?
Speaker 4 (06:43):
Go?
Speaker 9 (06:45):
Is that it? Hol me so with some vines while
you blow a nice little breeze at me.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
Just keep holding her, Marco.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
She won't be laughing her long.
Speaker 9 (07:01):
Okay, look fine, just let me go and I'll leave
you alone.
Speaker 7 (07:05):
Huh. You guys believe her?
Speaker 8 (07:09):
Nah?
Speaker 5 (07:09):
Man, I'm getting some pretty big pants on fire vibes.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
If you catch my I'm almost ready my goat when
I tell you to let the bikes go?
Speaker 8 (07:20):
Got it totally?
Speaker 3 (07:21):
Oh, sister of the wings, I'm ready to rock.
Speaker 7 (07:25):
Why I'm mourning?
Speaker 9 (07:25):
You don't do that to me?
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Awesome, man, I didn't know you could do this.
Speaker 4 (07:36):
Mica.
Speaker 9 (07:36):
Ready? Y two?
Speaker 4 (07:39):
What?
Speaker 1 (07:40):
Let her go?
Speaker 7 (07:51):
Nice way to go, you two. But I'm sure that's
not the last we'll see a glimmer.
Speaker 8 (07:57):
Definitely not a man.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Give a bro a heart attack. Why don't you What
are you doing sneaking around like that?
Speaker 8 (08:05):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (08:05):
Well, I got the unicow out of the mud a
few minutes ago, so we came over here to watch
the show.
Speaker 8 (08:10):
That was amazing.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Well, I'm glad you enjoyed watching.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
Now, can we return the unicow back to the farmer
and get out of this swamp?
Speaker 2 (08:20):
Please? Whoo wa, boy, you done did a great job
out there rescuing my poor little Bessie.
Speaker 7 (08:32):
Oh look you there.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
I think she might even be sweet on you.
Speaker 8 (08:36):
Now, boy, she's a good unicow. I'm glad we could
help her. Bye, Bessie.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
Congratulations on your victory adventure. You have been awarded a
unique piece of equipment. You may also choose a skill.
Speaker 6 (08:54):
Woo oooh another piece of equipment, and hey, I get
to take one of Bessie's skills. I didn't know Yudkows
had skills. Let me see, there's only two to choose
from this time, something called Daymare and something else called
Milk of Mystery.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
WHOA what do those do?
Speaker 6 (09:17):
The milk of Mystery gives me a plus five boost
to a random statistic, So I guess when I drink it,
it might make my strength go up by five, or
maybe my speed or maybe something else. Uh, I don't
know if that sounds all that useful.
Speaker 7 (09:31):
How about the daymare skill. What's that about?
Speaker 6 (09:34):
Uh huh interesting? Whoever I use it on will relive
a really bad memory, so it distracts them from whatever
they're doing. I guess that's why it's called daymare and
not nightmare.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Huh interesting. Being able to distract someone can come in handy.
Speaker 8 (09:51):
I think so too. I'll take that one.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
You may level up a level seven.
Speaker 8 (10:00):
And my piece of equipment is a helmet. It's the
iron helmet of decent cleverness, not bad. Another plus two
to defense, and it also gives plus five to intelligence
and to wisdom.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
Pork, maybe you are right, he's growing awfully fast.
Speaker 7 (10:19):
Right impressive?
Speaker 8 (10:20):
Huh h?
Speaker 7 (10:21):
What do you say we get some rest though we've
been going at it for a couple of days now.
Speaker 5 (10:27):
I'm with Pork, Dude, way past time for me to
catch up.
Speaker 8 (10:30):
On my beauty.
Speaker 6 (10:31):
Sleep man, I guess I could use some sleep too, Camp.
Speaker 7 (10:35):
Camp not again?
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Ah, make it stop, man, I don't like it. Let
me off the right. Oh woo, I'm gonna hurl.
Speaker 7 (10:56):
Dude.
Speaker 8 (11:00):
Oh that night quake was really bad. I don't like
this me neither.
Speaker 9 (11:07):
They're getting worse.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
We're running out of time.
