she ministers to you. Michelle Jackson serves a senior pastor

is using people like you and me to build his
kingdom and usher in a new air of glory. Here

Hey, everybody, you Michelle dot from here is so excited me.

That we get to spend this time together today.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Listen, I'll have been going through an amazing season of
understanding the wisdom.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
Of God on a metater level, and I just want
to share.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
A couple of keys and things that I have learned
over the last couple of years. And so let's just
hop right into the Word, if that's okay. To James,
Chapter one, Verse three states, if you need with them
as our generous God, and he will give it to you.
He will not rebuke you for asking, But when you

ask him, be sure that.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
Your faith is in God alone, do not waiver.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
For a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as
a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed
by the wind.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
So listen.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
I don't know about you, but I need the wisdom
of God. I need the wisdom of God every day.
I need the wisdom of God in my daily life.
I need the wisdom of God in my decision making
and my relationships and my business affairs, in my plans, I.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Need access to youth and of God.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
And one of the things that I've been learning over
the last few years leading at another level is that
really have to have a bended by of loyalty to
God's leading and direction, undivided loyalty to God's leading and direction.
And so what I've founronged in business decisions and personal
(02:13):
decisions is that when my heart is divided, as the
Word of God is stating in James chapter one, when
I'm not settled in resting in the wisdom of God,
the Word of God, the prompting of the Holy Spirit,
of reminding of the Word of God to guide me,
to direct me, even that still small voice, even that
(02:36):
voice that cries behind me and says, this is the way.
Walking in it the voice of wisdom. When I don't
have a solid a solid sense chi beat right ten
comes down, as they say, on that, I begin to
bring own stability into my life, instability into everything that
(02:58):
I'm choosing. What I've found for me because I am
kind of like the way I'm decisive, and that could
be a learned skill.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Because my mother was decisive.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
She wasn't a looking ballad. Steeri was a strong woman.
He was like a strong cup of black coffee. She
was a fierce lover of the word, a bond of
She was a decision maker, she was decisive, she was
a leader. And so I've inherited many qualities by training
(03:30):
and by DNA right. And so what I've found is
that sometimes walking in the wisdom of God for me
looks like taking time to make the decision and being
solid in what I'm deciding as opposed to being making
a snap decision. Also, it's looked like leaning into listening
(03:54):
to Holy Spirit and allowing those checks to really steward
my life. I am a person who hears from God
and a merreative way, and so as I've become more
sensitive to his voice, I've reckonized when I've moved in
my own wisdom versus.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
The wisdom of God. And so what I've learned is.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
That the safest place is in the plan of God's
from my hype football, so in the wisdom of God
for this situation. Proverbs chapter thirteen, verse thirteen says, people
who despise advice are asking for trouble. Those who respect
a command will succeed. And so the wisdom of God
(04:40):
and the Word of God our commands for our daily living.
And upon those principles we will find success. We will
find the goodness of God overtaking us, chasing us from
as we pursue the wisdom of God. So I want
to pose this question to you, where are you and
me the wisdom of God? Is it in your mayor
(05:02):
and is it in your daily career? Is it in parenting?
Is it in those areas? I would want to encourage
you to ask God for wisdom, to ask him for insight,
to ask him for a direction. And when you're in
need of resources or your business, whether it be people
or otherwise, come on, let's begin to ask the Lord
who does not upbraid, He does not cause us to

be ashamed for asking him for wisdom, but instead he
releases wisdom liberally to those who ask. And we just
have to be have that tabnot to not waiver in
the direction that God is sent to sending us. And
so I remember, oh, a few years ago, leading in
(05:50):
the marketplace in the particular business and really having a
keen sense from my training in that business and then
also from the Lord regard a strategic plan that I
had to put together in order to cause the business
to blurge again. When and when working in the marketplace,
I will as the turnaround person, my my, my mentor
(06:14):
via Jackson, she also was.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
A turnaround transformational leader.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
She was a strong leader, and she often would advise
me about praying over the plans and then also getting
insight from the Lord, as I've admitted to those I
was working for. And so she wrote a book taping
g this could work. You may be able to find out.
Amazon recommended. She was amazing leader, mentored coach. I missed
(06:41):
her dearly their business deals that I wish I could
call her and talk it through with her, because she
just had such a breadth. That's our fortune one hundred fortune,
five hundred entrepreneurial experience over the years and foundation work,
and I mean an amazing.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
Woman of God.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
But one of the things she taught me was to
make my plans, put them, submit them to the submit
them to my leadership, and submit them to the Lord.
And that is what we need to do as as
Christians in the marketplace, as business owners, as as wives,
as sisters, as mothers. All those rooms that we fail,
many are the plans of a man's heart, and.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
God orders our steps.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
So once we have a sust and look at everything,
we need to then say, okay, Father, what's your What
do you have to say about.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
What I'm continuing to do?
Speaker 2 (07:35):
And am I submitted to the authorities in my life
by choosing this direction? And choose choose on this action?
Because one of the things we have to recognize is
that we're all stewarding a vision and we're all subject
to the authorities the God has go in place, and ultimately,
when we get before the Throne of Grace, we're not
(07:58):
going to be responsible for an another man's vision. We're
going to be responding for the nation that God's given us.
And in that season when we're serving someone else's vision,
our job is to serve them well. And if they
determine that certain plans for certain projects we have in
our heart they could work well are not then aligned
with the vision that God's given them, then it's our
(08:21):
job to serve them adjusts and cause the vision that
God's pulling their heart to come. And so we have
to learn how to be flexible and walk in the
wisdom of God surrounding those issues. And so one of
the things that I have learned is that we bring
I bring, We bring a instability in our lives when
(08:46):
we waver upon God's decisions. So, like I was saying,
I was in another business and I had to make
a strategic plan in order to bring turnaround to that business.
And I studied all the red relations. I looked at
all the standards, I looked at competitors in the marketplace.
And from that place, I I wanted to make sure
(09:11):
that I was making the right decisions.

For the right timing.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
And so I really labored in prayer over it. Listen,
I really labored. I really lay in there, and I
really prayed because the seats were high, the employees of
this company's jobs were at stake. Decisions I was making
was going to determine whether that business continued to exist
for whether it had to close. And it was tight
(09:41):
when they brought me in.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
But what I found was that the Lord really.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Confirmed his word in my heart to be strong and
courageous and to make my faith like flint and to
present the plan that I had to be regular regulators
at the time of this industry.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
And we sat at the table.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
I sat with the board members because I was brought
in by the board to organize and to bring strategic
solutions for this business. And we sat at that table
and we came to an agreement. And by the grace
of God, the Lord for me to be successful and
implementing and correcting a lot of things in order to
(10:25):
bring that business forward in that season.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
And so one am I saying. I am saying that we.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
As the people of God in this time of totlds
of time of change. I mean, chang doesn't worn't changing, right, sell,
many things are adjusting, and we need the wisdom of
God the under before to be able to have inside
and even for sight by the spirit, in order to
(10:53):
be able to navigate the days ahead. And I bringlieve
that the Lord is going to cause us to be successful.
Even as his word declares, if we will be faithful
to his command, he won't honor his word. So that
same verse Proverbs thirteen, verse thirteen, and the Passion and
(11:15):
Translation says, despise the word will you, Then you'll pay
the primes and it won't be pretty. But the one
who honors the Father's holy instructions will be rewarded. Verse
fourteen goes on to say, when the lovers of God
teach you truth, a fountain of life opens up within you,
(11:37):
and their instruction will deliver.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
You from the ways of death.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
You know, the Holy Spirit in dwells is the reservoir
of the life force of God within the believer. And
there's a wisdom that's inside of us because of the
presence of the Holy Spirit. And when we engage with truth,
and then we engage with those who also love the truth,
come on, we know that another name.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
For the Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
While when we begin to align ourselves, we align our sylves,
ourselves with the zoe lying force of God that springs
up even into eternal life, and it delivers us. It
brings us out of bondage and the ways of sin
that lead to death. So we want to be people
(12:26):
of the Word.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
We want to be people that love the.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Wisdom of God, the instruction of God, the direction of God,
the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit through his word. And
so the main way that we receive the wisdom of
God is through scripture.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
The primary wing the God.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
Communicates to with people is through his word. The other
way that he communicates to us is through prayer, through
the inward witness of the Holy Spirit, and through other
believers through teaching like this. And I just want to
encourage you that there's a way that seems right to us,
but in the end it leads to destruction. So our
(13:05):
guard post, it really truly, is asking God for wisdom. Lord,
showing the situation in your word, I cannot begin to
target with howmling situation. I have avoided destruction by waiting
around the Lord or asking the Lord to show me
where this is in your work, show me where my
(13:27):
life story is right now, Lord, and then the Word
began to unfold wisdom to me, information to me, and
I was able to walk out of situations.
Speaker 3 (13:42):
Of course, my life.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
Has not been perfect, none of us. We've all followered
sward of the glory of God. And so there have
been times where I have a lot heed and the
leading of the Holy Spirit, and it has caused more
damage than I could have even explaining this and a
short time together, and even as a leader, it had
(14:07):
a ripple effect, and that it began to affect my team,
and then it began to affect a lot of things.
So we want to make sure that we are one
who follow the leading and the prom thing of the
Word of God that comes to bring light and life
to the hero, bring faith, to bring to bully us
(14:27):
up to the place of God's destined position, for us
to live out and for us to live out of
the revelation or to live.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
In light of what we know to be true based
on the Word of God.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
And so I love the I love these verses from
Proverbs thirteen, thirteen, thirteen and fourteen as well as James
Chapter one, because it really gives us a guide post
of how to move forward. Proudverbs thirteen thirteen and fourteen
in the message trend for you should read, ignore the
(15:01):
word and suffer on COT's commands and grow rich. The
teaching of the wise is a fountain of lives. So
no more drinking from death tainted wells. Come on, there's
a fountain, a river of life, and we want to
drink deeply from the wells of salvation, from the wells
that bring us into position to really understand the wisdom
(15:26):
of God, and to learn how to bear witness, even
on the inside, to have the conviction of the Word
of God, which in our lives. Proverbs thirteen, thirteen and
fourteen in the Amplified Classic version read whoever despises the
word and counsel on God brings destruction upon himself. But
(15:48):
he who reverently fears and respects the commandment of God
is rewarded. The teaching of the wise is a fountain
of life that one may avoid the snake of death.
So we know that the enemy will set tribes for us.
He will try to tempt us, we will try to
(16:08):
distract us. He will try to hindure us. But it
is the teaching of the wise, It is the counsel,
the whole counsel of God, the Word of God, that
brings us into a place a great success, reward, and stability.
And I don't know about you, but I can't think
of a better way to pursue the things that God
(16:30):
has for me and for my family than pursuing the
word of God. Let's pray together Qaana and the name
of Jesus. I thank you for everyone under the sun
of my voice today. I'll thank you for how.

You're moving in our lives.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
I thinking that you're bringing us into a place of
understanding our dependent need for your wisdom and input and counsel.
And God thank you that many aren't our plans of
a man's heart, but you order our steps through the
wisdom and the counsel of your word. And we thank
you Lord that we hear your voice because we're your
sheep and another boys, we will out follows. So I

thank you Lord that you're going to expose and uncover
those areas in our heart you're being need.

The wisdom of thee.

I thank you Lord that you're going to uncover you
reveal those areas in our personal lives, our business lives,
our relational lives where we need the.

Wisdom of God.

And I thank you Lord that there'll be voices that
we can hear and teaching that we can receive that
will spring up that fountain that is withinside of us
that will lead to eternal life. I thank you that
you're exposing the snares on the unity today by the
word of God. And I thank you Lord that you're
causing us to be victorious in every area of our

lives by the power of the Word and the wisdom
of God. We give you glory for all these things

of a better way to pursue the things that God

causing us to be victorious in every area of our

lives by the power of the Word and the wisdom
of God. We give you glory for all these things
