and the you know, the dust is still settling and
the fires are still Burning's over.

So obviously we've spent a lot of time thinking, praying, watching, repeating, calling,
you know, everybody involved and for everybody involved with the fires.
So we are thinking about everybody out there and hoping
that everybody recovers.

many people unscathed and hopefully people will be able to
build back.

Yeah, truly, truly, truly, But this podcast, we like to
keep things light. Yes, we like to keep things positive
and to be totally honest. The premiere of Traders came
on just in nick of time because last week we
were deep into everything going on in the world and
like we said, with the fires, and when we saw

that Traders Season three of Traders dropped, we just literally dropped,
everything turned off, shut three hours of sheer.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
I don't want to say joy because I feel like
that's not calling it what it was.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
It was beyond joy. Yeah, let's just paint the picture.
We're gonna start with Traders. Yes, okay, we'll start with Traders.
We'll start at the top. We had been anticipating Traders
season three. We watched Traders season two, adored it, loved it,
ravaged it. It was so much fun to watch. Kibi
(03:47):
definitely pushed me to watch that because I didn't watch
a Trader season one because.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
We're typically not a fan of these type of reality shows,
like game reality shows. Yes, because this has all the
elements there and with all our stars that we tend
to like, I felt like you fell for it, and
you fell hard.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
Fell hard for season two.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
So we have been really excited about season three and
it dropped. I think it was last Friday and we
saw that it was three episodes dropping the ones. I
will say, Peacock, you gotta do what you gotta do.
I don't understand the business model. I don't understand how
or why some streaming services like Netflix they put the

whole thing out. I don't care what it is. It
could be twenty episodes of whatever show they put the
whole thing out. It could be six episodes they put
the whole thing out. Apple sometimes puts the whole thing out.
Sometimes it doesn't put the whole thing out. Who everybody
does their own thing personally. I will say that when
I act on a TV show that's on Netflix, and

I act and work my butt off along with the cast,
the crew and everybody for let's say four months, like Atypical,
and they put it up there, and people will come
up to me on the stream be like, I watched
your entire show yesterday and I'm like, shit, man, four months,
you spent your whole Saturday watching it.

Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
It's funny, all that hard work you put into it,
somebody just binged it on a Saturday.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Flattering, and I'm glad. And we definitely binge things, but
you know, you're almost like, damn, it's over, you know.

And as a fan of TV, we like to binge.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
I would say I like to binge. I think you
get kind of frustrated with the.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
Binging reality shows. I can binge.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
I binge every like I like the British mysteries and
I the Harlan Coben series I Corbyn. I think it's
I binge those like nothing because they're so good. A
lot of them are British. Other the series is like
four episodes or six episodes, so it's quick.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
The season is the season.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Yeah, so but you you don't I wouldn't even say
that you like to do reality shows like that. You
like to save it because I'll be like one more episode,
one more episode, and you're like, no, turn the TV up,
and I really can keep going.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
I mean three hours is a lot. It was a lot,
but with regular.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Shows, whether it's a comedy or a drama, for me,
I feel like two episodes in order to digest it
and ponder on it, if it's something that I'm really into,
I want to give myself that time to sort of
absorb it. Otherwise I feel like I'm not really appreciating it.
That being said, that's fair. Traders dropped three episodes and

it came in the evening. It came on in the
evening and we literally put our phones.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
In the other room, got it right at nine o'clock.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
We went to our respective bathrooms and did what we
need to do to relieve ourselves.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Yes, face, wash the face, double cleanse.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
Clean yourself top to bottom.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
Ye. Set the blankets, set the pillows, total, set the
mood and put.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
The turn the remote on and move it because you
don't want to bump into it. You don't want to
stop anything. True.

And it came saw and delivered big time. Shout out
to Alan Cummings, who he must have. First of all,
he must be getting a great check, but he seems
like he's having so much fun the costumes and the
playing it up and the traators and he seems like
he must be having a fucking ball. Alan Cummings, who
(07:18):
is a great actor and performer, and he sings and
he's the host of Traders, and we can't emphasize enough
how good both I could vouch at. Season two and
season three have been great. I don't know how great
season one was.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Yeah, great. I love his outfits. I think it's part
of the show. I can't wait till each scene when
he comes into breakfast. What he's wearing is the best
to me.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
And he hams it up and they love him hamming
it up, and he just he must just have so
much fun doing the show. And just to tell you
what the show is, just to get if you haven't
watched it, and again, I don't know why you haven't
watched it.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
It's like a murder mystery.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
Obviously it's not a murder mystery, but it's like clue
and there's traders, and then there's faithfuls and everybody is
sort of lying uh and cheating, and there's challenges, and
there's groups and there's backstabbing. It's just like a perfectly
mashup of all the great things about other reality TV shows,

and they get all the other great people from all
the shows.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
There was a show called The Challenge never watched that.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Never watched, that of course Survivor, and then there's heavy
Heavy with Bravo people and this season.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
He's fucking back man Tom Sande.

You just can't get rid of him.

He just is good TV.

Because whether you like him or can't stand him, there's
something about him where you just even if you.

Makes for great TV because he I don't know if
how much he's conscious of.

playing with a full deck and he's totally not very bright.
So but I think the thing that he thinks he

there was a scene where he's running in one of
the challenges the camera and he ran past the cat

like he was in a like a war movie, you
know what I mean. It was very conscious to me.
It wasn't that challenge gave no reason to run like that,
and it was and it wasn't even fast. It wasn't
particularly a fast run, but it was like where the
arms were very very you know, like striding arms, pierced

lips and furrows like I'm I'm going up a hill,
and it was just come on, dude.

And so we got Tom Sandvil. We have I'm not
gonna go over everybody.

We have the guy Sam who was married to Britney
Spears Is.

They're all good. We have Wells from Big Brothers and.

We're very happy for Wells. He's from behind the Bar
finally and uh, let's see what happens.

Yeah, sorry, bachelor in Paradise. And uh, we have a
guy who's like a reality show staple, Boston, Rob from
UH Survivor.

And of course we have Derinda.

We got Bob the drag Queen, Bob the Dragon.

We got Dolores from the Real Housewives in New Jersey,
Dirinda from New York.

She's been great, she's great. We have Chanel from the
Real Housewives obviously of Dubai, Danielle from uh Summer House. No, no,

It's been fantastic, and the first three episodes were fucking
great and full transparency to you guys, Full transparency to
you guys. After the second episode we watched, so we're talking.
I think they're both like fifty minutes. This is two hours.

We're grown ups. We took a piss pray and I said, Babe,
can we get the popcorn? Can we get the key?

And you said no, already you know if you want
to intermit it fast.

It was a little too fun, Like how could you not?

You kept saying, I'm having so much fun. I was like,
you can have fun without eating. But that's the O

I can. I'm not hungry, so I don't want to
ruin your but I said, I broke and I finally
second episode. Halfway in the second episode, at.

The end of the second episode, you said, go get it,
and I will say I did eat the majority of
the bowl. You said, put it in a bowl because,
as you know of reports reality faithful, there's been a
lot of crumbs, there's been a lot of chocolate smears.

So she said, put in the bowl. And I said,
because I was.

I was on a high, not from the I was
having so much fun with you and so much fun
with the show. It was just it was really why
we created this fucking podcast.

Yeah, because we want to share how joyful we get watching.

A show, and I always go, babe, how would you
do on the show? Because I'm watching it seeing myself,
I'm like, I want to see, like, how would I do?

Because it's such a mind fuck they're filming.

Let's say, let's say they're filming for twelve hours, right
or ten.

Hours a day, right?

For two weeks? Maybe?

Okay? How much can you keep up the bullshit?

And what kind of a person is keeping it up
all the time, because there's obviously a sense of your
playing a game the whole time.

I think everybody who comes on this show's playing it
full out seriously the whole time. Because here's the thing
with the Yeah, well, that skill that has nothing to
do with like being tired of keeping up appearances. The
skill of the game is the skill of the game.
It's like, I don't see how anybody could go in
there not having watched the show, like you have to.

I have certain theories about like what it takes and
why somebody wins. This is why I have really good
instincts with Dolores. You know, it's a certain type of
personality that could win favor from friends and enemies alike
at the same you know, at the same time, and
I just think it's a very I love the show.
I would love to be on that show.

I try love to be on it too. The only
thing that I wouldn't.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
I think you wouldn't have the patients.

Oh, I would have the fucking patience.

I mean, I mean, you're competitive, you like to win,
but you're not a communicator, so you'd be sitting over.

I'd be bullshitting these motherfuckers. I would be bullshitting.

Yes, I'd be bullshit and also i'd be listening and
I'd be like I would fuck around. I would do
good because because I would be focused, Like you're saying,
I'm not a good communicator in real life, but I
would be performing, performing and playing the win.

It's tricky because in the morning there's a part where
the traders have to kill someone every night or get
not every night, but the way the game goes, and
then the next morning eliminate a person from the show.
And in the morning they all show up for breakfast,
and when they first people come in and there's a
knock on the door, you see who got eliminated. Right now,
I find that a lot of these people really play

it up when they go, oh my god, they good,
you're here, you made it. I just don't think this
is a right angle all the time. I just don't
there's a there's a there's a trader on here now.
And I won't spoil it that. I think she's playing
at totally wrong. Yes, too many tears, you know what
I mean.

Our girl from New York. And it hurt me to
watch her get kicked off early. I think it was

feel like she got fucked because there was so many housewives.
There was four of them, yeah, no five total, right,
and you could just feel like they were gonna pluck.

gonna be good because I saw some clips and I
saw some interviews and we dipped into it last year
strictly because Sibal, because we were like, yeah, we want

to see everybody wanted to see me.

He was like jumping off for bridges.

And the reason why I wanted to watch is because
Cam Newton, the NFL former MVP, who's one of the
bigger athletes I've ever met, like as far as a
quarter like, he looks like stature, big motherfucker's like six
six to sixty when I met him, and when he played,
he was like six six two sisters. Didn't look like
a basketball player and certainly don't look like a quarterback.

He looked like some sort of bodyguard right right, And
you know, and he's just got a funny personality. He's
a very like him or don't like him player, And
he was great, but he had an ego and.

Behavioral problems, right, behavior.

Problems, and he was great and he would take and
give punishment them. But then he wouldn't dive on fumbled ball,
so he just was like a frustrating great star. I
think he'll definitely be in the NFL Hall of Fame. Anyway,
he's on the show, and I saw Denise Richards.

Oh my goodness, who I would suggest watching it guys,
just for that or two episodes.

Man, yeah, guys, yes, I'm gonna do explain what the
show is for celebrities that are literally on lockdown trained
like they're going to be in the Special Forces and
the training is intense.

And Denise Richards from the Real House to Beverly Hills,
Lo and Behold, is one of the celebrities, along with
Cam Newton, who again is an NFL beast, another guy
named Golden Tate who had a great NFL career, Marion Jones,
the Olympic athlete, so they have Olympic athletes. They have
the one Olympic gymnast, so those make sense. They have

Brody Jenner, who's Bruce Jenner, sorry, Carrie Hart, Caitlyn Jenner's
son who's athletic. He's been carry Hart who's in shape.
A lot of these people are in shape, and they
make sense. And then you got Denise. Then you got Denise.
You got a former soccer player, which makes sense, Travis
Kelce's ex girlfriend who we don't know much.

About Kayla, but she's bad as she's badass.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
And then again, I'm gonna say it one more time
then Denise Richards, poor Denise and Denise. First of all,
they need to put her back on the Real House
as of Beverly Hills asap. She's fucking magic. She's like
a plug and play on a reality TV show, like you.

Put your tend to like these people for reality shows
that are really really to me too damaged. There's like
a fine line between like really damaged and like, you know,
middle of the ground almost damaged. Like maybe the show
will damage you afterwards, but I just don't. I found it.

Yes, like pathetic because of the reasons why she wanted
to try to do the show to have less fear.
And I mean she looks, as we all know, like
a deer in head lights. Sometimes a deer like in
headlights that's not quite there. I remember the scene where
her jacket was upside down and deret and she became vicious, right,
So there was no shaar, there was no deer in

the headlights there, but on this show she was.

Confused and like cold and wet and damp. It takes
places because the challenges the Scotland. They're in the water
there in the air, they're climbing mountains, bridges, they're muddy.
It's like awful. So like watching this woman who looks
like she's gonna come undone.

But to me when she said, I am here because
I want to try to conquer some of my fears.

And when I'm watching the show and I'm.

Like, Babe, I understand how somebody could go I want
to try to do that because I know these things
are scary as fuck and that they're frightening, and this
whole thing seems frightening and it's kind of like don't
touch the fire, don't touch the hot pot. And you're like, oh,
I'm gonna tell I could see why somebody would want
to do that. And when they had the interview with her,

like and she's she talked about some of her life.
I mean, she's been through a lot of trauma, and
she talks about like, you know, sort of being sexualized
her whole life, and you know, and basically. I mean,
she didn't say this, but being a pretty girl you
know has been you know, there's been great perks to
it and benefits.

I get all that. I totally get all that. But
what I'm.

Saying to you and that humanized her for me, and
it also makes for great TV when she's out there
in the cold. And the way they start the whole
show is these Navy Seal guys who are real Navy
Seal guys.

They walk up to.

Each some of the Special Forces.

And they pushed them into the water backwards as hard
as they mean.

It was a real shove. I mean it was a shove.

The way they pushed Cam Newton like, he looked like he.

Got how how did that guy push him into the water.
I mean, we're giving away you guys haven't seen about
what We highly recommend you watching it. I just totally
disagree with you about the dating. I mean, knocked the
wind out of her into the ocean or wherever they're
where they are, But she got.

Up and she made it through the fucking challenge and
it was It was good anyway, at least for the
first two episodes. With Denise rischards On, there trust me.
If you love Denise on the Real House Rise of
Beverly Hills.

You're gonna want to see it compromise like this, It's
like terrible. I recommend watching the show because I think
it's fascinating. Also, it's sort of like a human sociological
experiment to me, like, you know, people doing the challenges,
and how they react when they fail, how they react
within themselves when they conquer a challenge, and then when

the special Forces bring them in in the cloak of

like what they're about and why they're there. I find
that human interest part of the show interesting, but I
do also probably have a hard time using up those
hours with that and not something a little bit uh.

clip this couple and a turkey and she wanted to

And I showed it to you, and I said, maybe
we should be watching the ninety Days series again because
at least it's real people that we have no attachment to.
These aren't ex celebrities, kind of like in the world
that we've lived in. Like it's a little upsetting to me,
and you know, hopefully not foreshadowing for our life because

you seem to think that you would actually be able
to be on Special Forces. I'm like, hell no, not
if you want me to be here when you come home, man,
bust your ass. There's a challenge where they are in
a moving boat and a helicopter comes by and they
have to jump and catch a helicopter the landing gear
of the helicopter and climb up. Are you kidding me?

Babe, you could barely when I asked you to get
me a glass of water at night to go downstairs.
It takes you forever to get upstairs, and you are
huffing and puffing when you so like, I don't want
you to do that. I don't want you to go
mad and decide that you're going to be on that show.
To me, it would be mortified.

It's scary, but it's alluring. It's a little allurning because

because there was a time that when it was first
being made, I think it was somebody asked as they
asked you the first season, and I was mortified once
I saw what it was and you actually about it,

Those shows have been great. And then I said it
last week, the Golden era of the Real Housewives of
Salt Lake City oil Boy.

One of the iconic scenes.

I mean they're going season by season and having like
iconic moments, going back from gen Shaw getting arrested on
the sprinter van and that whole thing.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
Right, then we had Monica come in, who was.

A realityte and we had the trauma of the reality
of Avante, and we had the obviously the iconic quote
from Heather Gay you know about reality Vante and the
whole sort of mystery around Reality Vante and figure out
who is reality and.

That was so we're skipping a big part. It was
a Heather with a black eye. I mean, that was
a moment on TV history, like where she was did
not admit who how she woke up with a black guy.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
And that lasted two seasons, season maybe three, Yeah, maybe
three because they dipped into it two No, but they
were going back to it a.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
Little bit last end of the end of Jen Saw
and then the whole next season.

Yeah right, yeah. Salt Lake City is a let me ask.

You a question, babe. You know there's a scene in
the last episode where all the girls were trying to
figure out. Meredith suggested that Brittany after recording everybody on
the bus, allegedly according to her. But then when they
go back and Heather says to Meredith, well, let's go
see if there's, you know, recording device. It was sort
of tongue in cheek, I believe on Heather's part, but

Meredith was dead ass serious. What do you think about
that whole scene where they're all in the hallway in
comparison to looking for a listening device, in comparison to
the Housewives of New York doing like a kind of
a thing about being what's her name being Rebecca being pregnant,
like manufacturing something for the show. Why it works on

Salt Lake, Because I think that it works on Salt Lake,
and I want to know why you think that.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
Is the reason why it works on Salt Lake, And
Kibia is referring to real housewives in New York and
we were really offended, offended, really offended by the whole
fake pregnancy thing. And the reason why the sort of
listening device uh scene in the real house of Salt

Lake City works is because they've earned it. They earned
it exactly because the reason why they started doing the
listening device thing is because they actually went through a
real incident and a real thing that brought up real
emotions and real feelings and real frustrations. So when you're
when you do that, you can get away with adding

a little sugar.

To it, a little manufactured entertainment. I call it, like
if with it.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
And they've earned it.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
They have earned it because we know the nitty gritty
depth of everything they've gone through and who they are.
We've seen them claw yes, we've seen these women real time.
They're still doing it right, So, like I think I
watched it over and over. I was like, what about
these ladies? You know, it's so weird. Even what's the
Greek lady's name? And and Angie she is even newer. Yeah,

I believe Anne and and Mary calls her and Angie
she is even newer cast member. Forget about Britney whatever,
but Bronwyn is great. But these women are seen. They're
almost I'm watching them now as almost if they're iconic.
Like it's crazy how they got there so quickly. You know,
you showed me an old clip of Ramona and uh

Bethany having an argument that was like brilliant. I was like, whoa,
this was next level television. Yeah, I feel like these
the way these women are there getting there get it.
They get it. They're they're there and they're smart and
witty and yeah.

No, they get it. It's a skill. There's got to
be a certain skill.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
And the producers, you know, obviously we don't care to
learn and understand the mechanism and the behind the scenes.

We truly don't know.

We go to show how made. I don't want to know.

Yeah, we don't want to know how the sausage is made.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
I have some ideas and thoughts and theories, and you know,
you even asking that question about you know, why can
the Salt Lake City Girls women get away with a
listening device scene? And why was it so offensive in
New York? Even to sort of deconstruct that is something
that I don't like to do.

But like I said, and we said this.

When the Real Housewives of New York did that whole
fake pregnancies, like they haven't earned that. This is basically
their second season. You can't be doing that shit. And
you're like, not even halfway through the second season of
your show, that's a whole episode.

Very it's very very manipulative and very like.

We're not the only one you would infuriate it, No, everybody.

it's it's it's a bad argument. And it's between Whitney Rose,
Whitney wild Rose respectfully and Heather and.

They're all I mean, at this point, they're all in it,
like they're all arguing, and you hear like.

A boop boop like on somebody on their phone and Meredith.

No, it was Ange that looked over and said, Brittany,

And she was like, what so now.

I'm sending the text to my daughter. She got good
news with the test score. Blah blah blah blah blah.

And chaos ensued, and I understand why chaos.

Meredith saw red Yo. She did one of her like
mommy dearest screams out. It was great.

I'm surprised that she didn't get fired. They exactly worked
it out amongst themselves. But that's something that I've never seen.
It's never been discussed and been accused of, Babe.

This is the problem where we have with new people
coming into the show. We're always trepredacious of someone new
coming in because you know, we don't want somebody who
studied you know of this. And again here's another person
all on Megan Markle. I never watched the show right wrong,
Yes she did, and trying to.

Just to give more context because Brittany is saying, and
we watched the after ass after show, and she's double
tripling down.

Doubling down that she wasn't recording, that.

She wasn't recording number one, and that she never watched
the Real House as a Soul Lake City and she
also never watched problems shows.

I'm like, then, how did you get on the show?

Yes? And why did you sign up? And then she
said she was You know, I regretted that I didn't
watch it because I didn't know what I was getting into.
But I love you Andy and Bravo TV. You know,
no offense. Believe I don't believe her. No, she's by
the way, let's continue on away.

How do you convince somebody to do a show that
you've never seen before?
Speaker 2 (35:16):
You don't, it's a lie. Yeah, you don't. By the way,
Heather brought her in, so she knew what Heather was
doing with her life. I believe Heather is her fret.

She's doing her right her whole life. She became this person.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Yeah, she's this thing. And so it's really interesting that
a grown woman will sit there record other grown women,
probably to in the after show they actually all admit it,
probably to share with her friends, like, look at these assholes.
I'm on the outside of this. I don't act like them.
That's what I thought she was doing. And uh, that's
not true. But what ensues afterwards, when they're all sitting
(35:49):
down for lunch, they confront her again and said, you
were recording us, and we're not cool with it because
we've been through a lot with the reality fontife and
then the whole gen shot shame. These are traumatic events
and they're all restimulated. And then you know, here this
woman says, you know, I don't know. Does she admit
it first? And then she goes on to say no, no.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
She made I didn't know was recording.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
She kept going, and then she turns the entire conversation
into yes, I'm sleeping with Jared. Yes, because she's a
Mormon and she's not supposed to the previous episode she
said we're not physical, So she uses this opportunity to
tell them that she is. Duh. Everybody knows, the audience knows,
the cast knows. It's very clear how she drinks what
she wears. They're doing it. They're doing the dow. Okay. Now,
(36:33):
the thing that I have a problem with is that
hold on with me for a second in this scene.
These women they fall for it. Why because they're all Mormons,
and they all are privty this sort of emotions about
withholding who they really are because the religion doesn't allow
them to do so, right, So they all err on
the side of sympathy with her, which I'm fascinated by
(36:55):
because one minute you were pissed off. But the only
person I ain't buying it in the moments, in the
looks of the moment, because Bronwin doesn't buy it, but
she pretends to in the moment like yes, yes, yes,
And I love what she said to her, because like,
don't use your trauma and pain but what you can't
do and weaponize it against us. But Mary, at the.

Was like, girl bye, yes, girl bye, girl bye, good bye.
This is the worst type of human being that well,
in the moment they're getting in trouble, stub their toe.

So now we're done with the truth of the matter, man,
get out of here. I don't like her. I hope
she doesn't come back because of that, because she's faking
the funk and I don't appreciate a housewife that fakes
the funk like that.

But do you think that maybe she isn't faking the
funk because the women in the court of law of
Real Housewives Assault Lake City, they sort of heard her out,
they heard her story, They were with her, and they
kind of, you know, they don't think they forgot, but
they forgave her.

Yeah, I did they because you know they did forgive her.
But now we have this thing. I think watching the
After Show sometimes is shitty because it's almost like knowing
the sausage how the sautions is made, because according to
most of them on the after Show, they're not having
it and they think she's not ditsy and a liar. Still,
so I'm like, how do they move forward with this person?

Well, maybe she won't come back. Yeah, maybe she won't
come back, but she's done a good job of stirring
it up and that is what we want. But that's
like being on a TV or movie set shooting a scene,
recording it and posting it before like the day off.

And also the argument could be made that, oh, you're
on a TV show, you're already being recording or miked up. No, anyway,
but this is different. They've all agreed to be on
the TV show and do this thing amongst themselves. They
did not agree to be in your phone, not at all,
not at all.

Very I'm not feeling her at all. It's like her
and her Jared, but.

It made for great TV, and it made for a

that Traders Season three of Traders dropped, we just literally dropped,
everything turned off, shut three hours of sheer.

I don't want to say joy because I feel like
that's not calling it what it was.

We're gonna start with Traders. Yes, okay, we'll start with Traders.
We'll start at the top. We had been anticipating Traders
season three. We watched Traders season two, adored it, loved it,
ravaged it. It was so much fun to watch. Kibi

definitely pushed me to watch that because I didn't watch
a Trader season one because.

We're typically not a fan of these type of reality shows,
like game reality shows. Yes, because this has all the
elements there and with all our stars that we tend
to like, I felt like you fell for it, and
you fell hard.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
Fell hard for season two.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
So we have been really excited about season three and
it dropped. I think it was last Friday and we
saw that it was three episodes dropping the ones. I
will say, Peacock, you gotta do what you gotta do.
I don't understand the business model. I don't understand how
or why some streaming services like Netflix they put the

whole thing out. I don't care what it is. It
could be twenty episodes of whatever show they put the
whole thing out. It could be six episodes they put
the whole thing out. Apple sometimes puts the whole thing out.
Sometimes it doesn't put the whole thing out. Who everybody
does their own thing personally. I will say that when
I act on a TV show that's on Netflix, and

I act and work my butt off along with the cast,
the crew and everybody for let's say four months, like Atypical,
and they put it up there, and people will come
up to me on the stream be like, I watched
your entire show yesterday and I'm like, shit, man, four months,
you spent your whole Saturday watching it.

I love that.

It's funny, all that hard work you put into it,
somebody just binged it on a Saturday.

And as a fan of TV, we like to binge.

I would say I like to binge. I think you
get kind of frustrated with the.

Binging reality shows. I can binge.

I binge every like I like the British mysteries and
I the Harlan Coben series I Corbyn. I think it's
I binge those like nothing because they're so good. A
lot of them are British. Other the series is like
four episodes or six episodes, so it's quick.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
The season is the season.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Yeah, so but you you don't I wouldn't even say
that you like to do reality shows like that. You
like to save it because I'll be like one more episode,
one more episode, and you're like, no, turn the TV up,
and I really can keep going.

I mean three hours is a lot. It was a lot,
but with regular.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Shows, whether it's a comedy or a drama, for me,
I feel like two episodes in order to digest it
and ponder on it, if it's something that I'm really into,
I want to give myself that time to sort of
absorb it. Otherwise I feel like I'm not really appreciating it.
That being said, that's fair. Traders dropped three episodes and

it came in the evening. It came on in the
evening and we literally put our phones.

In the other room, got it right at nine o'clock.

We went to our respective bathrooms and did what we
need to do to relieve ourselves.

Yes, face, wash the face, double cleanse.

Ye. Set the blankets, set the pillows, total, set the
mood and put.

The turn the remote on and move it because you
don't want to bump into it. You don't want to
stop anything. True.

And it came saw and delivered big time. Shout out
to Alan Cummings, who he must have. First of all,
he must be getting a great check, but he seems
like he's having so much fun the costumes and the
playing it up and the traators and he seems like
he must be having a fucking ball. Alan Cummings, who

is a great actor and performer, and he sings and
he's the host of Traders, and we can't emphasize enough
how good both I could vouch at. Season two and
season three have been great. I don't know how great
season one was.

Yeah, great. I love his outfits. I think it's part
of the show. I can't wait till each scene when
he comes into breakfast. What he's wearing is the best
to me.

And he hams it up and they love him hamming
it up, and he just he must just have so
much fun doing the show. And just to tell you

night covered with their head to interview them, to see
like what they're about and why they're there. I find
that human interest part of the show interesting, but I

I have some ideas and thoughts and theories, and you know,
you even asking that question about you know, why can
the Salt Lake City Girls women get away with a
listening device scene? And why was it so offensive in
New York? Even to sort of deconstruct that is something
that I don't like to do.

But like I said, and we said this.

When the Real Housewives of New York did that whole
fake pregnancies, like they haven't earned that. This is basically
their second season. You can't be doing that shit. And
you're like, not even halfway through the second season of
your show, that's a whole episode.

Very it's very very manipulative and very like.
Speaker 3 (32:42):
We're not the only one you would infuriate it, No, everybody.

I mean they've taken the audience for granted when they
did that.

Yes, and I think it was bad producing and bad
just a bad idea. But this whole scene that will
go down in reality TV show history and certainly of
Real Housewives of Salt Lake City history, with Danielle the
new Girl literally starting to record Brittany. Brittany, who's the

I said, Danielle from the other show from Traders. There's
a Danielle Traders.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
Yes, yeah, sorry, Brittany from Salt Lake City recording them
while the girls are they're going at it. Yeah, they're arguing.
I mean, it's kind of like a free fraud. It's
it's it's it's a bad argument. And it's between Whitney Rose,
Whitney wild Rose respectfully and Heather and.
Speaker 2 (33:34):
They're all I mean, at this point, they're all in it,
like they're all arguing, and you hear like.
Speaker 3 (33:38):
A boop boop like on somebody on their phone and Meredith.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
No, it was Ange that looked over and said, Brittany,
are you recording right?
Speaker 3 (33:48):
And she was like, what so now.
Speaker 2 (33:50):
I'm sending the text to my daughter. She got good
news with the test score. Blah blah blah blah blah.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
And chaos ensued, and I understand why chaos.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
Meredith saw red Yo. She did one of her like
mommy dearest screams out. It was great.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
I'm surprised that she didn't get fired. They exactly worked
it out amongst themselves. But that's something that I've never seen.
It's never been discussed and been accused of, Babe.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
This is the problem where we have with new people
coming into the show. We're always trepredacious of someone new
coming in because you know, we don't want somebody who
studied you know of this. And again here's another person
all on Megan Markle. I never watched the show right wrong,
Yes she did, and trying to.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
Just to give more context because Brittany is saying, and
we watched the after ass after show, and she's double
tripling down.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
Doubling down that she wasn't recording, that.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
She wasn't recording number one, and that she never watched
the Real House as a Soul Lake City and she
also never watched problems shows.
Speaker 3 (34:54):
I'm like, then, how did you get on the show?
Speaker 2 (34:56):
Yes? And why did you sign up? And then she
said she was You know, I regretted that I didn't
watch it because I didn't know what I was getting into.
But I love you Andy and Bravo TV. You know,
no offense. Believe I don't believe her. No, she's by
the way, let's continue on away.
Speaker 1 (35:10):
How do you convince somebody to do a show that
you've never seen before?
Speaker 2 (35:16):
You don't, it's a lie. Yeah, you don't. By the way,
Heather brought her in, so she knew what Heather was
doing with her life. I believe Heather is her fret.
Speaker 3 (35:23):
She's doing her right her whole life. She became this person.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Yeah, she's this thing. And so it's really interesting that
a grown woman will sit there record other grown women,
probably to in the after show they actually all admit it,
probably to share with her friends, like, look at these assholes.
I'm on the outside of this. I don't act like them.
That's what I thought she was doing. And uh, that's
not true. But what ensues afterwards, when they're all sitting
(35:49):
down for lunch, they confront her again and said, you
were recording us, and we're not cool with it because
we've been through a lot with the reality fontife and
then the whole gen shot shame. These are traumatic events
and they're all restimulated. And then you know, here this
woman says, you know, I don't know. Does she admit
it first? And then she goes on to say no, no.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
She made I didn't know was recording.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
She kept going, and then she turns the entire conversation
into yes, I'm sleeping with Jared. Yes, because she's a
Mormon and she's not supposed to the previous episode she
said we're not physical, So she uses this opportunity to
tell them that she is. Duh. Everybody knows, the audience knows,
the cast knows. It's very clear how she drinks what
she wears. They're doing it. They're doing the dow. Okay. Now,
(36:33):
the thing that I have a problem with is that
hold on with me for a second in this scene.
These women they fall for it. Why because they're all Mormons,
and they all are privty this sort of emotions about
withholding who they really are because the religion doesn't allow
them to do so, right, So they all err on
the side of sympathy with her, which I'm fascinated by
(36:55):
because one minute you were pissed off. But the only
person I ain't buying it in the moments, in the
looks of the moment, because Bronwin doesn't buy it, but
she pretends to in the moment like yes, yes, yes,
And I love what she said to her, because like,
don't use your trauma and pain but what you can't
do and weaponize it against us. But Mary, at the.
Speaker 3 (37:14):
End of the table, Mary Cosby, she.
Speaker 2 (37:16):
Was like, girl bye, yes, girl bye, girl bye, good bye.
This is the worst type of human being that well,
in the moment they're getting in trouble, stub their toe.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
Yeah and be like oh my toe like too.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
So now we're done with the truth of the matter, man,
get out of here. I don't like her. I hope
she doesn't come back because of that, because she's faking
the funk and I don't appreciate a housewife that fakes
the funk like that.
Speaker 1 (37:39):
But do you think that maybe she isn't faking the
funk because the women in the court of law of
Real Housewives Assault Lake City, they sort of heard her out,
they heard her story, They were with her, and they
kind of, you know, they don't think they forgot, but
they forgave her.
Speaker 2 (38:01):
Yeah, I did they because you know they did forgive her.
But now we have this thing. I think watching the
After Show sometimes is shitty because it's almost like knowing
the sausage how the sautions is made, because according to
most of them on the after Show, they're not having
it and they think she's not ditsy and a liar. Still,
so I'm like, how do they move forward with this person?
Speaker 1 (38:21):
Well, maybe she won't come back. Yeah, maybe she won't
come back, but she's done a good job of stirring
it up and that is what we want. But that's
like being on a TV or movie set shooting a scene,
recording it and posting it before like the day off.
Speaker 3 (38:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (38:38):
And also the argument could be made that, oh, you're
on a TV show, you're already being recording or miked up. No, anyway,
but this is different. They've all agreed to be on
the TV show and do this thing amongst themselves. They
did not agree to be in your phone, not at all,
not at all.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
So it was it was a.
Speaker 2 (38:56):
Very I'm not feeling her at all. It's like her
and her Jared, but.
Speaker 1 (39:01):
It made for great TV, and it made for a
great segment on another I mean, I don't like to brag,
but I will do it.

I try to stay humble, but I will speak the truth.
