Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ahead on an American Sunrise early edition.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
You're looking at the two faces of the man most
people believe is now the only realistic hope to save
America's largest city. Mayor Eric Adams looked lost and hired
at one event, but cool and collected at the other.
But which one will be the guy who takes on
Zoron Momdam. Secretary of State Pete Hegseth makes himself the

(00:25):
object of seething mainstream media hate as he scolds the
industry for its coverage of Operation Midnight Hammer. Apparently America
can't even neutralize one of its most hideous enemies without
partisan hacks deciding they'd rather fight amongst themselves. Israel's leading
newspaper says President Trump and Prime Minister Nittanyao have launched

(00:46):
a plan to end the war in Gaza in two weeks,
bring in Arab countries to rebuild the territory, and expand
the Abraham Accords to include Saudi Arabia and even Syria.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Not bad for a day's work.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Remember the massive attention everyone gave that Wisconsin Supreme Court
race earlier this year, You know, the one Elon Musk
spent so much time and money on, but the Democrats
still won. We'll wait until you hear what just happened
as a result of that election. And they keep telling
us the US economy is about to collapse and it

(01:21):
will take your four oh one K with it. But
don't look now where at all time hies on Wall
Street and there's good news for Main Street too.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
American Sunrise Early Edition begins. Now.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Welcome to American Sunrise Early Edition, the show where faith, freedom,
and the values that built this nation takes centers.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
To your good, thieves and bad deeds. That's how we're
gonna judge you.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Join host Jake Novak as he breaks down the stories
that matter.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
He will be letting the public know regularly what we
have found.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
American Sunrise Early Edition with your host Jake Novak art Now.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
I am Jake Novak. Welcome to American Sunrise Early Edition.
It is a no Taie Friday, and can we just
take a breath for a moment for what has been
more than just an incredibly busy week of news here
in this country and all over the world. But it's
been more than that. It's been several several days beyond
a week. So let's take a breath let's look forward
to the weekend. But I got to get you all

(02:27):
informed and prepared to take some perspective, and they know
exactly what's going on right now. Joining me to help
me do that is nationally syndicated radio host Jennifer Kelly.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Jennifer, you know, at first, when.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
This story broke, I sure that people beyond New York
would care so much about this election for mayor. I
thought maybe people will say, ah, that's New York, and
I don't care about New York. But even the people
saying that in the first sentence then go on and
on and talk about how, oh my god, those New
Yorkers can't elect that Zoron Mamdanni's socialist, communist guy. So
it really is resonating nationally. So I want everyone to

(03:02):
take a look at the guy who I think all
of us agreed, at least most of us, is really
the only hope to defeat this guy. This is the
current mayor, Eric Adams, really officially kicking off his general
election campaign against Mom Donnie yesterday.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Check this out in a lot ex gives me the
time to finish the job. This is a This election
is a real choice, this eflection, This is a choice
between a Canada with a bookla and one with a
suit till the school, A choice between Jodie finger Naws
and Manicude. A choice between someone who delivered lower crime,

(03:40):
the most dog in history, the most new houses built,
built in decades, and in a simply member who did
not pass a built.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
All right, Jennifer, I don't know what's going on there,
because that's Eric Adams reading off. It looks like a
pieces of paper that were scrawled maybe a second before.
He doesn't always speak so poorly, or it just seemed unprepared.
I mean, he had a good line there about blue
collar versus silver spoon, but I don't know if anyone
made that out now. I think maybe the wind was blowing.

(04:12):
I don't know what happened if he maybe he had
a teleprompter and it didn't work. But to me, this
was not an inspiring kickoff to his campaign, not in
New York, where the mayor of New York's got to
be someone who talks off the cuff and can go
back and forth with reporters, let alone a setup speech
that he knew he was going to give hours or
maybe days before.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
Yeah, and you heard horns beeping their taxis going by.
I mean, here's the reason Eric Adams has to read
off of a sheet of paper.

Speaker 6 (04:39):
He now has to be a different person than he
was when he was mayor of New York City. And
he still is.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
Mayor of New York City, but he has to now
be a different version of Eric Adams. He has to
be the more acceptable version of Eric Adams because he's
now running against a far left, radical communist.

Speaker 6 (04:57):
And this is the sad.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
State of affairs at New York's city is in what
a huge opportunity, by the way, and I'm going to
violate Ronald Reagan's eleventh commandment here, I have to talk
about the Republican Party in New York. They have been
asleep at the switch, letting people like Curtis lee Wap
love him to death. A very nice man, but he
barely broke one percent in the results this week. And

(05:22):
that is a terrible day at the office of your
New York City when you consider Jake that in the
last mayoral election, in the post COVID, post summer of
twenty twenty riots, post Black Lives Matter marches that were
shutting down the city, we had a huge opportunity in
New York City, and that was ninety one percent of

(05:42):
registered Democrat voters said they would be willing to cross
party lines and vote for a Republican on the number
one issue facing the city at that time, and that
was crime. And we missed an opportunity to put somebody
like Andrew Giuliani, someone with a big name in there,
and that is just a huge missed opportunity.

Speaker 6 (06:02):
And now the tooth bases out of the twobe.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
We have a radical leftist communist running for mayor of
the largest city in the nation and Eric Adams is
our best guy.

Speaker 6 (06:13):
Give me a break.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Yeah, it's a tough situation. Now again more proof that
this is a national story more than just the clicks
on the Internet and the ratings of some of the
programs we were talking about it. So, I mean, really,
people really do care about this for a lot of
obvious reasons, but also nationally prominent people are jumping into
the discussion, and one of them is billionaire Bill Ackman.

(06:35):
Out those of you watching this program might remember him
for a number of reasons that he might remember him
from the business world. That would be the most easy
recognition there. But don't forget he was a mainstream Democrat.
I'll put him, I'll say that. And during the election
last year, he slowly but surely came around to President
Trump's got a huge account on x He's got a
lot of followers. People listened to him, and he came

(06:57):
around slowly but surely to President Trump. And he's remained
in a Trump's camp for the most part since the election.
Now there are people asking him to actually jump into
this race for mayor. He I don't think he's going
to do that, but he has pledged to back with
big money, someone who he thinks can beat Zarah Mom,
Donnie Jennifer. I got to talk to you about this
because to me, this feels like a double edged sword.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Be great to have the.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Support of a Bill Ackman, his financial support, but wouldn't
that play into the narrative of the progressive left. I
hate calling him that because they're actually regressive. They're taking
his back in time. So wouldn't that play into the
hands of the regressive less saying, oh, look at those
rich people, those rich elites. They're going to stack the
deck against what the people really want. I'm very, very worried,

(07:40):
and I think we should all be cautious about bringing
in a Bill Ackman here, especially as a candidate, but
even as someone is going to be the big money
backer that I think they need to go on a
different route.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
Yeah, that's a very astute observation, Jake, and I think
that's true, and I think that is actually what's going
to happen. You have the news overnight according to my
sources saying they are the powers that be in the
New York GOP are now looking to find an appointment,
maybe a White House appointment for Curtis Sleewah to go

(08:13):
do so that he can't serve on the Republican ticket
and they can substitute as somebody in on the Republican side.
I don't know yet who that would be, but there's
no doubt all of the big money backers, and frankly,
all of the Democrats who are reasonable people like Bill Ackman,
people who run large banks, Chase City Bank, Wall Street,

(08:34):
you name it, they are going to come in support
of the Republicans.

Speaker 6 (08:38):
So it might be unavoidable that you have a situation
like that, Jake.

Speaker 5 (08:42):
But that may be how it's going to shape up,
and that may be how it needs to shape up.
Because look, you've got to now overcome this name ID
that Mundani now has. And look, as they say in media,
there's no such thing as bad press. This guy got
nothing but bad press the final three weeks of the election,

(09:02):
and I kept telling my Republican colleagues, stopped talking about
this guy, stopped saying the name over and over, you're
bringing attention to him. And sure enough, he sailed to
victory with seventy seven percent of the vote. I think
it might be the highest return in a New York
City mayoral election other than you know, the immediate post
nine to eleven coalition around the other mayors. But yeah,

(09:25):
this this is frightening, especially as someone who lives in
New York City.

Speaker 6 (09:29):
I went through the riots of twenty twenty, went through
the summer.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
Of twenty twenty, and then went through the ensuing years
after COVID, when we basically sort of had a socialist mayor.
We had you know, people acting as if, you know,
we didn't have basic freedoms, and you know, just to
imagine what this guy could do, it's pretty frightening.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
And Andrew Cuomo another national name, you know, the former governor,
former housing secretary. He's apparently not dropping out of the race.
It sounded like he was a couple of days ago.
This is a big mess, and I I don't know
how they're going to solve it yet. A lot of
chess pieces moving. Let's get to another national story. That's
the demonization of the Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. He went
after the news media yesterday and the news media kind

(10:11):
of took the bait. They're just going back and forth.
It's going in full swing right now. Obviously, Pete hegg
sonth is angry at the news media for whoever it was.
He's angry whoever leaked the very very very initial assessment
of the attacks on the nuclear sites, and that he's
angry at the news media for taking that bait and
then again pushing the negative, pushing it, basically pushing this

(10:31):
errat I mean, I have people who calling me.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
And saying, oh, I guess we didn't do that much damage.
I mean, like, are you are you kidding? Are you kidding?
We didn't do that much damage.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
I mean, it's just it's incredible how quickly people can
be convinced of something when massive numbers of bunker buster
bombs are dropped on top of something.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
I mean, what do they think.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
This was built by some future master race from another planet?
I mean, of course it did massive damage. You know,
sometimes you can go ahead with your own logical assumptions.
But heg Seth is drawing this fire on himself right now.
The news meeting. He didn't like him before, Now they
really don't. He better watches back because they're going to
come up with some more dirt on him.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
I have a bad feeling.

Speaker 6 (11:08):
That could be.

Speaker 5 (11:09):
But look, I think he's such a shining example of
what a great cabinet member he turned out to be. Right,
he had such difficulty in his confirmation hearings, you know,
the salacious rumors about him, and he has really turned
out to be one of President Trump's most useful cabinet members.
And to see him up there just taking command of

(11:30):
this and really laying out the story. I mean, he
really was doing storytelling, as was by the way the
Joint chiefs of Staff. I thought his storytelling ability and
his ability to lay out the timeline and that the
human side of the story of the troops who went
and did the mission, I thought was just incredible. And
this is the benefit of having a you know, people

(11:51):
joke about it having a Fox News cabinet, But this
is the beauty of it that you can go out
and make a compelling case to the American people. So
I would give that press come friends yesterday and a
plus plus. It was beautiful, It was well done. And look,
Pete heeg Seth is doing what a Secretary of Defense
should do, which is defending his troops, taking the ayre

(12:12):
off of his troops. Meanwhile, while he's getting the hate,
the people who conducted this mission are off the radar.
At no pun intended to the be two bomber there,
but they're off the radar.

Speaker 6 (12:22):
They're at home.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
They're enjoying their next meal with their families today.

Speaker 6 (12:27):
So that's a good thing.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
Yeah, and I know, time to get to it.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
But also I think listen, by the way, it's a
real it's a real you know who says what kind
of thing?

Speaker 1 (12:37):
It's real Rochamont kind of Thingeople.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
People either really love or hate the performance that Pete
heggs hath put on at that news conference. I've had
no one go down the middle with me. Everyone either
loves it or hates it. But one of the things
I'd like to see also is now that Iran is
so badly damaged without major, major troops being involved anymore,
I'd like to see the feuding within the Trump supporter
world also stop. They're having an argu They were having

(13:02):
an argument that was moot in the first place because
we were never planning on a major troop invasion, and
now they're still arguing about it even though it's pretty
much over. Jennifer Kelly, have a non argumentative weekend, please,
and thank you so much for joining us.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
You too, all right? Coming up? Hey, what if the
sky doesn't fall in the end?

Speaker 2 (13:22):
The loss that Trump supporters took so badly earlier this
year in Wisconsin suddenly doesn't look so bad after all.
Remember Elon Musk got involved in that Wisconsin judgeship race.
I'll tell you what's really happening now. You might be surprised.
And I promise I tried. I tried to get my
parents to use GPS. I promise. Okay, this isn't my parents'

(13:43):
car that however, did this car here did make a
wrong turn? Can you say wrong turn? This isn't just
going down the stets. These are the famous Spanish steps
in Rome. This is a worldwide Landmark. What the hell
happened here? The American Sunrise Early Edition is coming right back.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
You know, we almost always.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Show you big cities for these morning live shots across America.
So here's a nice one. This is rising fawn, Georgia.
What a beautiful sight. This is a beautiful country, so
much that people don't see necessarily. I'm glad we got
that shot up. Welcome back to American Sunrise Early Edition.
I'm Jake Novak. Thank you so much for joining us
on a special Thank you for those of you watching

(14:32):
and commenting on Getter and Rumble.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Okay, Wisconsin's Supreme Court has.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Rejected a request to reconsider the state's congressional maps ahead
of next year's midterm elections, all but ensuring that the
current maps will remain in place from twenty twenty six.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Now, why is this huge news? Hey? Because remember the
hullabaloo in March.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
It was just March, folks, when all that outside money
from both sides, including a ton from Elon Musk, was
poured into that special election in for the there was
a vacant Supreme Court seat in Wisconsin was a special election,
and everyone was fighting it, and everyone was told, especially Trump,
supporters that if the Democrat won, they would be redistricting

(15:15):
and that the House majority would be lost. YadA, YadA, YadA.
Her name was Susan Crawford. That's who won. By the way,
Well it didn't happen. Never mind, the court decided not
to make any changes. I'm not saying it wasn't important
for everyone to pay attention to this election. A good
educational experience, but it's just a reminder that not everything
is always so negative all the time, and you don't

(15:37):
always have to be so afraid and negative all the time.
This court made the right decision not going to do
a redistricting on the fly, and the Democrat money that
went heavily into her election all for this one reason
down the drain.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Maybe they could have given that money to charity instead.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
All right, Getting back to the attempts to spark feuds
within the Trump supporter camp I talked about that just
a moment to go.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
You know.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
One of the big narratives supposedly fueling the spit the split,
the spit the split is the so called neocons are
apparently angry.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
They're angry that.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
The war between Israel and Iran is ending of course
that's nonsense.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
That's the opposite of the truth. They're ecstatic.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
I can tell you that because I know some of them,
and why wouldn't they be when the ceasefire essentially freezes
in place the massive war gains made by Israel over Iran. Now, look,
the October seventh attacks in twenty twenty three.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
Were absolutely awful.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
The people who died in Israel, all the civilians, about
thirty of them during this brief engagement directly between Iran
and in Israel, awful, terrible. Iran deliberately targeting civilians, All
that is terrible. I am not making light of that
at all. But Israel now wakes up this morning and
the United States wakes up this morning with Iran severely, severely,
severely weakened.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
There's no other way around it.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Stop listening to everyone from the far right and the
far left who doesn't know what they're talking about. Kamas
is almost done Cuzvola.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Is so weak.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
It couldn't even adhere to their masters in Iran when
they told them to attack Israel during this brief war.
They couldn't do it. They couldn't do it. They don't
have the means to do so. And so here we
are this morning. Everyone should be happy. I don't care
what your political stripe is, certainly not within the Trump camp.
Everyone within the Trump camp should be really happy because
the Trump administration and his friendship with Israel made this possible.

(17:24):
And if you're not in the Trump camp, if you're
far left liberal, you should also be happy. I'm sorry.
Terrorism isn't good for you either. You need to wake
up and realize that maybe you will one day. All right,
we are days away from what has been dubbed the
Rio reset. That's the greatest threat to the US dollars,
global dominance, and over eighty years on July six bricks nations.

(17:44):
That's Russia, China, India, Iran. I don't know if Iran's
gonna be able to do it, but anyway, they're part
of the bricks Nations. Many more of them are expected
to unveil their plans to circumvent the US dollar, thus
cratering its value. They've already been laying the groundwork, as
their central banks have been be with thought divesting from
the US dollar and US bonds in favor of gold.

(18:05):
How can you protect your ira or four oh one
k from the fallout from this landmark shift. Diversify with
gold from Birch Gold Group. Historically, gold has been a

Speaker 2 (18:19):

Speaker 1 (18:24):

supposed to destroy the markets, deportation, they were supposed to

(18:49):
kill employment, and President Trump was supposed to be the
grinch who stole Christmas, Easter, Konica, and Dewali. Okay, but
the folks with skin in the game keep telling us otherwhy.
I'll tell you what they're telling us. American Sunrise Early Edition.
We'll be right back. Hey, we're sticking with smaller town

(19:23):
America this morning on our bumpshots.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
I liked this. This is Scottsville, Kentucky this morning. Beautiful morning. There,
I like their lack of traffic at this time.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Nice to know that there's some places that aren't dominated
by cars. Welcome back to American Sunrise early edition. It's
a no time Friday. Let's take a look at where
the markets are going to begin today, more green arrows.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Look at that.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
It's been a massive valley for stocks the last few days.
Looks like we're going to open up more than one
hundred and twenty points up on the Dow to start
the day, Nasdak even higher percentage wise. Gold is down,
but it's still I mean, every time I see that
three handle on the parounce number for gold, I'm pretty impressed.
Crude oil is up, We're only at sixty five dollars
a barrel. We should still see some prices coming down

(20:02):
at the gas pump. And now let's take a look
at bitcoin and those cryptocurrencies, and you can see still
in that one oh four to one ten window, we're
at one oh seven, so we're on the higher end
of it.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
Now.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
I wonder, wonder, wonder when it will break out of
that one to ten level and go above that right now?

Speaker 1 (20:16):
Though not there.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Hey, if you want to be a pessimist, you could
point to the final reading on the economy, I guess
for the first three months of this year. The Commerce
Department came out with that yesterday. It said that the
economy for the first three months of this year, this
is their final reading on it, contracted fell by half
of one percent. But okay, first of all, remember all
the indications, even from some of the pessimists, are that

(20:39):
the economy in this quarter that's about to end on Monday.
Monday will be the last day of the second quarter
of the year. They're all saying that the economy in
this quarter is going gangbusters. Seen some numbers in the
four or even five percent range of growth. That's incredible
because again, a lot of people were expecting the tariffs
to slow things down. Turned out that they actually sped
things up more than anything else because people.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
Made purchases ahead of the tarras.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
And now that the tarris are in place, it's not
killing consumer spending as much as people thought it would.
It's slowing some of it down in some sectors, but
it's not killing it as much as they thought it would. Now, Look, folks,
I'm not here to always be a cheerleader and say, hey,
it's great. Stop markets are at all time highs, by
the way. You know, look, I'm not here to say
that all the time. Again, you have to be very
smart about this. It's just that again, think about it.

(21:25):
When the markets go down precipitously, every news organization goes
crazy about it, makes it into their headline. Who's making
a headline about the all time highs? I don't see
it anywhere. Even some of the financial news programs. They're
reporting it, but they're not making a huge deal out
of it, and that is just intellectually dishonest. You're going
to go crazy when things go negative, You've got to

(21:46):
go similarly crazy when they go positive. Or how about this,
how about not going crazy at all? How about calmly
and firmly just telling people exactly what's going on. That's
what I'm trying to do here, folks. We are at
all time highs for most of the stocks right now,
but most of the stock indicies they're just about there.
And that is news that I think is generally good.
You can push back on me on that, but that
is the honest truth, just from a maths standpoint, and

(22:07):
I hope you'll understand.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
You get that here.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
You're not going to get crazy cheerleading. You're also not
going to get crying on this program. Okay, here's a
sneaky play on. President Trump is reportedly thinking about putting
into place when it comes to his problems, to say
the least, with FED shair Jay Powell, the chairman of
the FED. As you know, President Trump's been slamming Jerome
Powell for not lowering interest rates enough and hasn't done

(22:29):
it in quite a while. He wants him to do that.
He feels he's being very, very unwise not to do it.
So there are a number of reports now that President
Trump is going to a point a shadow FED chair
because j. Powell's term doesn't end in office until twenty
twenty six. In the meantime, President Trump might appoint someone
else to be the shadow FED chair, someone who will
go out and talk to the news media and say

(22:49):
what he or she would do if they were running
the FED, and in more detail than President Trump does
on true social posts. This will put a tremendous amount
of pressure on Jay Powell. I don't know if he'll
be able to withstand that. Maybe he'll step down early.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
But President Trump is doing a full court press on J.
Powell and the FED in a way that no president
really has done before, and a lot of people watching.
I know you want to end the FED anyway, but
this is an interesting new tactic that the president might
use again. Might let's see if he does it. Okay,
if you can't beat him, join him. That's what the
bankrupt weight watchers is doing with Novo nor Disc Novo Nordice.

(23:23):
That's that's Danish company company from Denmark that makes a
lot of those weight loss injectable drugs like Wegov.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
Now, when those became all the rage.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
A couple of years ago, you knew it was bad
news for weight watchers trying to push the old fashioned
exercise and diet method to try to lose weight. Now, listen, folks,
I know that there are some people where that never works.
So I'm not trying to pretend that diet. Just telling
everyone to diet and exercise is always going to work
for a lot of people. But it is sad to
see people moving away from healthier choices and going with injection.

(23:54):
I don't love that, but I understand it's big money,
so weight losser weight watchers.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
Couldn't beat it. They're going to join them.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
Novo Nordisk is now going to sell some of its
injectable drugs, especially we go Be, via the Weight Watchers network.
That's the way it goes in America today. I guess
all right, ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. This is

Speaker 1 (24:53):
Off your first order.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
All this work at home stuff that people have been
doing over the year is from COVID. Before that people
started to work from home. You know what I'm talking about. Well,
you know it's been bad for commercial real estate. A
lot of office spaces empty in downtown America. It's bad
for those downtown sandwich shops, bad for them and the
candy shop and stuff where people used to go and
take a break. But think about it, it's also really
bad for the car and truck companies. You know, to

(25:18):
go into work. Most people actually get into their car
and go to work. You would think that the Detroit
auto companies would have been big on making sure that
at least they were an example for coming into work
every day. You know, kind of kind of hurts their
industry that people are working at home. I mean, you
get it, folks, right, don't you. Well Ford finally got
it yesterday and made the announcement that their workers, at

(25:39):
least in the Detroit area need to come into work
at least four days a week. You know, they probably
should have said this a little bit earlier. Maybe they
should also spend some money licensing some studies about how
it's better for people to get out of their home
sometimes and work. I got to tell you something, I
don't love it. I wish I were going into an
office more often. I'm sure a lot of you love
working from home. That's great, but if you're a car company,

(26:00):
you kind of want people to get into their cars
and go to work.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
That's a big driver.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
No pun intended for the auto industry and for it
is deciding now just now to set an example. They
probably should have done this five years ago. But that's
just my take. And now for some interesting palace intrigue.
I hope you like those kinds of stories. Elon Musk
has fired ome Ed Afshar. He is the automaker's vice president,
or was the vice president of manufacturing and operations. This

(26:25):
comes as Tesla's sale continues. Their sales continue to fall.
They've been having a rough number.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
You guys know what's happening.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
First of all, Tesla has a lot of competition from
these very very cheap Chinese models that are killing them
in competition, especially in.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Places like Europe.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
And as you know, that's still that political boycott against
Elon Musk, people who supposedly love their cars but hate him.
I'm seeing these bumper stickers saying I bought this.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Tesla before Elon supported Trump.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
I mean, all these virtue signalers. But it is hurting sales. Now,
a lot of observers are going to be inclined to
blame this firing Aboush far on Musk's frustrations and not
on anything as did or didn't know.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
What if we start.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
Seeing some new newly modeled teslas that are really wow cars.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
Maybe they'll have been some reason for this. We'll have
to see.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
One would hope that Musk is just getting a temper
tantramer and firing a good guy who's helped that company
do so much. We'll have to see. In the corporate world,
these kinds of things make big news. I can't can't
say even when a CEO steps down, it doesn't make
as big a news as when a top lieutenant is fired,
because usually that means another company might really benefit from
the firing.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
That's how Wall.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
Street looks at these kinds of things, and of course
people in the car industry. Okay, not every story we
do about Nissan is bad.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
Here's proof.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Nissan was just named the number two most reliable car
the entire brand was by JD. Power in Associated's second
only to Lexus. So that means that Nissan was the
only non luxury brand was the number one non luxury
brand because it was number two to Lexus, which of
course is a luxury brand.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
Hey, folks, Nissan makes some good cars. I know.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
I joke about the company and their problems all the
time here. I would hate to see that company go out.
What I'd like to see again, as I've been saying
for a few months, Nissan to make more of these
cars here in the United States. That would be awesome.
I don't want to see a company go bankrupt. I
know I'm not a grinch. Sorry, some of you wanted
me to be one, but I'm not going to. Okay,
I've made some wrong turns in my day, but this

(28:19):
one you're about to see is really ridiculous. Earlier this week,
an eighty year old driver in Italy took a wrong
turn in Rome and ended up going down the famed
Spanish steps. These are the eighteenth century, you know, landmark
steps in the city of Rome. I mean, I'm half
expecting them to crumble every time I see this video.

(28:40):
Police say they helped the.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
Man out of the car, and that the man they
didn't say his name.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
He's lucky he doesn't have his name out there. He
tested negative for alcohol, but he definitely tes positive for
being confused. This could have been a disaster, by the way,
he could have destroyed a very valuable landmark. I don't
know what to say about this. How could you possibly
make that wrong turn? Is really a wrong turn?

Speaker 1 (29:02):
Okay? Eric Adams will be.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
The one who really goes up against Zoron mam Donnie
in the hopes of saving the city, the big city,
New York from a communist nightmare, I will explain. And
the details are leaking out about a new peace deal
for the whole Middle East, and they seem to be
too good to be true, but it's a nice place
to start the details coming up. When American Sunrise Early

(29:24):
Edition continues. It's Friday, June twenty seventh. Here are some
of this morning's top stories. You're looking at the two
faces of the man most people now believe is the
only realistic hope to save America's largest city. He's Mayor

(29:45):
at Eric Adams, and he looked lost and unprepared at
one event, but cool and collected at the other. Which
one will be the guy who takes on Zoron Mamdannie,
I'd like to know. Secretary of Defend Pete Hegseth. He
makes himself the object of c mainstream media hate as
he scolds the industry for its coverage of Operation Midnight Hammer.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
The media takes the bait.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
They decided to talk about themselves and defend themselves instead
of propping up America you know, we had a great victory.
Maybe they might want to put something positive in there
for once. Israel's leading newspaper says President Trump and Prime
Minister in Natanyaho have launched a plan to end the
war in Gaza in two weeks, bring in Arab countries

(30:27):
to rebuild the territory, and expand the Abraham Accords to
include Saudi Arabia and Syria.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
In return, all Israel.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
Has to do is kind of sort of recognize the
palace and the authority as maybe sort of one day
getting a state.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
It seems too good to be true, but I love it.

Speaker 2 (30:44):
And they keep telling us the US economy is about
to collapse and it's gonna take your four oh one
k with you and it's all gonna be terrible. Wait
a minute, it socks are out all time highs. The
economy is going gangbusters right now. You know, maybe the
sky isn't falling after all. American Sunrise Early addition continues now.

(31:06):
Welcome back to American Sunrise Early Edition. I'm Jake Novak.
It is a no tie Friday. We've been going day
after day after day. It was a long weekend. We
had a long week huge news. I wouldn't trade it
for the world. But I know a lot of you,
like me, are probably looking for a break before you
go on your weekend break. You gotta stay with Real
America's voice all day. Then you can have your weekend break.

(31:26):
And I'm glad you're joining us right now helping me
to get through some of the big stories of today,
some that you may have missed because it's been so busy.
Is former Jewish Press editor and chief Elliott Resnik. Elliott,
I want to play for you two sound bites. Whose
are gonna be dueling soundbites. Sound bites one is going
to be Eric Adams. The first one is from yesterday
on the steps of City Hall. Listen and watch this.

Speaker 7 (31:48):
This is a biblical moment, you know, when Jesus was
on the cross, he said, God, forgive them, for.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
They know not what they do.

Speaker 7 (31:57):
All these negroes were asking me to step down God
for of them.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
Okay, we got the order wrong, but that's okay. That's
the first one.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
Now, you may not love exactly what Eric Adams was
saying there, folks, but he sounds pretty cool, very very confident.
He's getting a good response from the crowd. That's the
Eric Adams, that you know that again lover hate In
New York City mayors, they're supposed to be good on
their feet talking to crowds. That one was affected now
here he is yesterday on the steps of City Hall.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
And what a difference this makes. Look at this a lot.

Speaker 4 (32:37):
Gives me the time to finish the talk. This is
a this election, it's a real choice. This election is
a choice between a cannony with a bout collar and
one with a silver school. A choice between Jody thing
An owns and not a curse yet, a choice between
someone who's delivered lower crime, the most history, the most

(33:01):
who housing built, built in decades, and in as simply
number who did not pass a built.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
Okay, Elliott, I know you don't want to see Zoraon
Mamdani become the mayor of New York City because this
could really kickstart something all across the country with people
who are very anti Semitic and very very communist becoming
leaders of major cities. But you got it, you got it.
I'm sure you're a little bit nervous, like which Eric
Adams is going to show up? Is it gonna be
the one from the first SoundBite where he's getting that
great response from the crowd and he's riffing and he's

(33:32):
doing great. Or the other one where he's reading off
a piece of paper that looks like it was printed
a moment before he's stumbling over his good lines. I mean,
which one is it gonna be?

Speaker 1 (33:40):
Elliott?

Speaker 2 (33:40):
I mean, we've got something invested in this, don't we?

Speaker 8 (33:43):
We do, indeed, And to be honest, I'm not so
sure why we should give up on the Republican Party.
At Curtis Sleewall. I know a lot of people say, oh,
you know, the Republican Party is very weak, it's non
viable in New York City. We'll make it viable. I
don't understand or agree with the strategy of trying to
win by inhabiting the other camp and trying to win
under sheep's clothing, sorry, under wolf's clothing. Take you the

(34:07):
Democratic mantle and try to win under the Democratic mantle. No,
at this point, the Democratic Party is terrible. It's immoral,
it's un American. We should not try to win as Democrats.
We should try to win as Republicans. And this is
not some pipe dream. Giuliani won as a Republican in
New York. Mike Bloomberg won as a Republican in New York.
It is possible to win as a Republican in New York,

(34:28):
and we should try to make the Republican Party viable
and try to get curtse Lye well elected and not
always having us voting in democratic product primaries and trying
to win under the democratic mantle. In my opinion, you.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
Know, I agree with you in principle.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
One of the things that I've been slapped in the
face with over the last couple of years is how
different New York City is. It is so different demographically
and philosophically than where it was when Mayor Giuliani first
won his first election for mayor in nineteen ninety three,
and it's also really different from where it was in
two thousand and one when Mike Bloomberg won the election

(35:04):
for his first term as Mayor of New York City.
So I want to talk about another player in here,
because again this is a national story with national olymplications.
Bill Ackman, the billionaire mainstream Democrat, basically, that's what I'll
call him, who came slowly but surely over to the
Trump camp during the twenty twenty four campaign, huge following
on social media, and people really read what he had
to say, and it was fascinating to see this very wealthy,

(35:26):
smart guy wake up from the trance of anti Trump sentiment,
realizing what was going on in the country and suddenly
become a pretty interesting and good voice for the Trump
campaign and for common sense. There are people who want
him to be a Republican and join the race, maybe
replace Curtis Sliwa. And at the very least Ackman is

(35:47):
promising to back bank roll financially anyone who he thinks
could really beat Mom Donnie. But Elliott, I gotta tell
you, you must see as I see the dangers of this.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
This could be very dangerous.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
Billionaires like Bill Ackman come into this race and look
like they're dominating it. Won't that give a great talking point.
More than a talking point, it might even be a
rallying cry for the Mom Donnie forces to say, look
at these evil, rich people, white guys coming in and
trying to hurt an immigrant who wants to be good
for New York City. I mean, I see this backfiring.
If this isn't done properly.

Speaker 8 (36:21):
He could try to say that, but I think it
will only go so far. At the end of the day,
I think despite what all the Democrats say, I think
they kind of trust Billy in there as people trust
successful people. So they see somebody who built a successful company,
they said to themselves, hmm, maybe he'll be able to
run a successful city as well. That's why Bloomberg got elected,
That's why Trump got elected. So I know, Mom, Donnie

(36:44):
will say that I just don't know how effective it
will be, and I agree with you. I think Ackman
might be another Bloomberg in that he's doesn't have a
huge track record, so i'e can attack him saying, oh,
you did this or you did that, and he'll be
presented as a moderate somebody who used to have a
sober democratic background. And I think he has actually a
chance of winning because of that, because he's successful, and
because he doesn't have that much of a record that

(37:05):
you could attack him on.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
So I see what you're saying.

Speaker 8 (37:07):
I just don't know if will be that effective.

Speaker 2 (37:10):
Yeah, there are a lot of chess pieces moving here.
We are far from really knowing what the real matchup
is going to be in November in New York City,
but it is only four months and like a week away,
So they better get their act together soon, because it
is hard, even in a place like New York where
things move fast, to get a candidate established in the minds.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
Of the voters.

Speaker 2 (37:29):
All right, let's go over to the Middle East right now, Elliott,
because according to Israel Hyom, which is the number one
newspaper in Israel by circulation and by clicks on the Internet,
they floated a story yesterday. They're reporting that President Trump
and Prime Minister Benjamin Nintania, who have already hammered out
a deal, or a major region wide peace deal. It
would include the war in Gaza ending in two weeks

(37:49):
and getting the hostages back. It would include countries like Egypt,
the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, at least those at least
Egypt for sure, coming into Gaza and rebuilding it. It
would include expanding the Abraham Accords to include Syria, if
you can believe it. But Saudi Arabia, which many people
thought and the only thing Israel has to give back
in this deal. Again, it's all floated. It's theoretical, I

(38:10):
guess at this point. But this newspaper, which is very
close to the Prime Minister, is saying this is, you know,
really in the works.

Speaker 1 (38:16):
The only thing.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
Israel quota would have to give back is some form
of recognition of the Palestinian authority as perhaps a future state,
which you and I both know they're never going to take.
No Palestinian group will ever accept the state as long as.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
A Jewish state exists. So it's really kind of a
mood point.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
It's like giving up an imaginary dollar that's never going
to be printed. So what's your take on this, Elliott,
Because I know it's just a floated idea, but I
sure like it. I hope that even ninety percent of
it is true because that would make me happy.

Speaker 8 (38:43):
I hate to disagree with you. As an American, I
don't have it. It's a real firm of opinion on
the topic. As a Jew, though, I am opposed to it.

Speaker 1 (38:50):
And here's why. Because Gaza is part of Biblical Israel.

Speaker 8 (38:54):
And therefore it should be run by the State of Israel,
and it should be inhabited by the people of Israel.
It should not be or inhabited by Arabs. And that's
exactly what this deal calls for. It calls for Egypt
and the UAE and two other Arab nations to run Gaza.
I don't want Arabs running Gaza.

Speaker 1 (39:09):
I want Jews running Gaza.

Speaker 8 (39:11):
And also, as a further point, Israel right now is
surrounded by four Muslim nations. I don't want Israel to
invite an additional two or three Muslim nations to its
front doorstep to Gaza to help run Gaza. Now. I
know these are supposed to be moderate Muslim nations, but
today's moderate Muslim nation could very easily become tomorrow's radical
Muslim nation. That's what happened in nineteen seventy nine in Iran.

(39:33):
One day it was a moderate Muslle nation, the next
day it was a radical Muscle nation. That's what happened
in Egypt in twenty twelve when the Muslim Brotherhood took over.

Speaker 1 (39:41):
So I don't want Arab.

Speaker 8 (39:42):
Nations, Musl nations in Gaza, whether they're moderate, whether they're
a radical, And between you and me, I'm not so
sure these moderate Muslim nations love Israel that much either.
But that's a separate discussion for a separate time.

Speaker 2 (39:54):
Yeah, and listen, you make a good argument again that too.

Speaker 1 (39:57):
In that situation.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
Also, a lot of chess pieces around I only have
about thirty seconds left, Elliott, but I want to get
your take on some of the Democrats in the in
the Democratic the Repblican, some of the Democrats in the
party who are in an elected office who seem to
have very very big dreams that I think need to
be squashed because they just aren't facing reality.

Speaker 1 (40:15):
One of them is JB. Pritzker. Now he's the governor
of Illinois.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
He announced yesterday that he's running for a third term,
but everybody knows he has presidential aspirations. He will most
likely be a candidate unless something happens in the twenty
twenty eight primaries for the Democrats, or they allow primaries
this time. They don't really usually do that, do they.
But I have to make this statement. I don't think
that Jewish Americans like JB. Pritzker or Josh Shapiro and

(40:40):
there's some other names out there have a realistic chance
to get anywhere in the Democratic national primaries cars for president.
I don't think they have a chance in this party.
The Democratic Party has decided they don't want Jewish people prominently.
A lot of people argue that if Josh Shapiro had
been Kamala Harris's running mate. It would have been a
much closer election. I think so too. But there's there's

(41:00):
no way they're going to put a Jewish person that
prominently in the party anymore.

Speaker 1 (41:03):
I just I'm sad to say it, but I wonder
if you agree. I think you have a very good point.

Speaker 8 (41:08):
I think, especially young Democratic voters are not going to
vote for a Jew unless he's a self hating Jew,
in which case he might have a chance. But otherwise
you're right. I think they've done polling of young Democrats,
and I think the majority of young Democrats at this
point take the Arab side in the Middle East conflict,
not the Jews side. They want the Jews basically out.

Speaker 1 (41:23):
Of the Middle East.

Speaker 8 (41:25):
I don't know, go back to Poland baby into the
guest chambers. I'm not sure exactly where that are really
six two steps ahead. They just want the Jews out.
So I think you're right. I think it's very unfortunate,
and I think a lot of Jews don't want if
they want to do. You know, the APAC always wants
to be bipartisan. It would be nice to be have
a bipartisan consensus that the Jews are human beings who
deserve normal rights and don't deserve to be killed. But
at this point, I think you're right. Young Democrats don't

(41:47):
see the world that way.

Speaker 2 (41:49):
Yeah, it's a tough situation, and again I don't think
it's necessarily hopeless in some local elections, but nationwide, this
is where they're going.

Speaker 1 (41:58):
They need to figure this one out.

Speaker 2 (41:59):
And for all all of you watching is saying, well,
then why don't more Jewish people vote for Republicans? I
got good news for you. The trend is, your friend.
Jewish people voted for Donald Trump in the highest numbers
we've seen in over forty years, and more importantly than that,
in the swing counties of Pennsylvania where this election really
turned folks, there was a massive turn to Donald Trump
from Jewish voters.

Speaker 1 (42:18):
Don't believe these national reports.

Speaker 2 (42:20):
Don't use Google anymore, period, But Google's got all these
crazy numbers for Kamala Harris.

Speaker 1 (42:24):
They're not true. They left out California and.

Speaker 2 (42:26):
New York, the two biggest states with Jewish voters, So
those reports are bunk. I can tell you that what
Elliott's saying and what I'm saying is starting to resonate
with American Jewish people. It's getting there. I know it's
not great, but honestly, they're moving in the right direction
in my opinion. Elliott Resnick, thank you so much for
joining us.

Speaker 1 (42:42):
Have a great weekend.

Speaker 8 (42:43):
Thank you for having me YouTube. Appreciate it all.

Speaker 2 (42:46):
Right, Coming up, it's not just partisanship that's destroying the
integrity of the mainstream American news media. It's also another
key failing that goes beyond left versus right, and we
saw that yesterday with this news conference. David Rodian, I
will discuss when American Sunrise Early Edition.

Speaker 1 (43:02):
Comes right back. If you build it, they will come.
I don't know. Is that the Field of Dreams. I
think it is Dietersville, Iowa. If it isn't, it looks
like it is.

Speaker 2 (43:20):
All right, we're getting some really good shots of non
urban America this morning on.

Speaker 1 (43:25):
Real America's Voice. Here an American Sunrise Early Edition.

Speaker 2 (43:28):
I love this shot. Love the movie Rest in Peace.
Rae Liota who played Shoeless Joe Jackson in that movie.
By the way, welcome back to American Sunrise Early Edition.
If you think the establishment media's only problem is that
it's too left wing, or maybe some of you watching
I think it's too right wing. You actually have them
been paying attention. The bigger problem is that the news
media is almost always negative, frightening, and its ton and

(43:50):
outlook is just sad.

Speaker 1 (43:52):
There are a lot of.

Speaker 2 (43:52):
People in the news media, folks who think that their
only job is to find problems with things. I gotta
tell you, when I ran newsrooms and ran programs, policy
was you do a negative story about an issue more
than twice. The third time, you have to bring in
someone who has a solution, even if you don't personally agree,
or you can't do the story anymore because you're not
really doing anybody any good despite pounding and pounding their

(44:13):
same rock all the time. So, David Brode, I want
to bring you in right now because I think that's
also playing a role. Look, we know the hatred of
Trump is so strong, and that's why the news media
wants to pour cold water on the great achievements, at
least in my opinion of Operation Midnight Hammer. But there's
something else going on, David, which goes beyond Trump and
goes beyond right and left in America, which is, we

(44:33):
have a news media that thinks it's his job to
tell you that the sky is falling all the time.
I've been talking all during this program about how the
stock market is at all time high. Hey, that isn't
always great news for everyone. But you can bet that
if the market we're crashing by the same numbers that
it's going up, that would be the number one story
in America and everyone will be pounding the table on it,
not only because they will want to blame Trump, but
because they think negativity is the only job we have

(44:55):
here in the news media. David, I'm going to prove
that wrong. You look wonderful this morning. Let's it's Friday,
come on, guys.

Speaker 9 (45:02):
Well, Jake, and that shirt you're wearing is to die for.
So let's just call it a day at that point. Now,
of course, of course you're right. And here's the thing,
let's be honest. I mean, the job of There's a
lot of reasons the media exists, but one is to
be obviously a check and balance right on our politicians.
I mean, in essence, it begins with a noble cause.

(45:25):
It begins with a in essence, a baseline of distrust
of politicians in general, which is a good thing. Ask questions,
try to get answers, try to figure it out. That's good,
but it's gotten way out of control to the point
where you know, I think Trump is exposed at all.
There was a twenty twenty two twenty twenty two excuse me,
survey that looked at specific emotions that the media conveys

(45:49):
more than others. And here are the emotions anger, fear, disgust,
and sadness. It's actually quantitatively analyzed where the media has
play on those specific emotions according to the folks that
watch and some that don't, but a lot.

Speaker 1 (46:05):
That watch television news.

Speaker 9 (46:07):
