What's up? What's up? I'm Robin Dixon. Thank you for
being here with.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
Us once again, once again, once again.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
It's dark outside. Robin's upset. It's dark outside. I mean
it's not right now, but like it's eleven am y'all.
But the time has changed, right all right? Yes, no,
it is dark. Yes, who it means it's the end
of the year. It's rough.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Yeah, it's so rough, and I like, so when this happens,
I want to be done. I don't want to work
anymore until twenty twenty six.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
Yeah, but there's work two years over over, there's work
to be done over. Yeah. You got a shady moment,
you know what?
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Not really I'm anticipating maybe having one tomorrow, like traveling traveling, yes,
you know, yes, we gotta travel.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
So tomorrow we're traveling.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
To Vegas for Bravo khon woo whoop, and with all
of these this flight situation. But they're saying it right,
so it's like getting better. They say it's getting better.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
They said well, no, but the House is meeting today.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Right, but I mean it's still not but okay, so
they got to like pass that boat and then Trump
has to sign off on it, so who knows how.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
Many days that takes. But they did say that.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Their air traffic controllers are like reporting to work or something.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
Yeah, they're kind of that. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
So no, no shady moment. I'm just anticipating maybe.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
Havy one tomorrow, maybe shade.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Okay, yeah, well, speaking of that, So I traveled last week,
oh yeah, leading up to the Friday of when it
first started happening and getting really bad, and I really wanted.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
To give all of the TSA a hug.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
Yeah, I wanted to give them a nice bag, fat hug,
juicy hug.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
I was watching I saw on the internet. Did you
see the video of the people that were like, just
come through.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
We ain't getting paid, Just come through?
Speaker 1 (02:09):
No, yeah, TSA, Yes, it was like We're like like
they didn't even care no more, Like I just like,
we're not getting paid.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
And I understand, oh my god, get paid like a.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Month to SOE like, how could you care about people
could be walking through with listen, all kinds of all
types of weapons, shrapnel.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
Oh my gosh. Okay, that's not funny. That is actually
not funny. But I told you my shoes went off.
I'll tell you this. My boots went off.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
And I was like, because.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
That means I had to go back, and they.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
Were like, ma'am. In my mind, that created additional work
for them, and that made me feel really bad. And
I was apologizing to everyone. And where was I that day?
Speaker 3 (02:48):
I was? I was Tallahassee. So I was DCA.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
And the Tallahassee Airport, by the way, Tallahassee Airport is
as big as you're off it.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
It's like the.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Smallest thing ever, which you appreciate exactly when it comes
to things like this.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Yes, yeah, totally yes.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
But my my flights took off like clockwork. Oh wow, yes,
that was very nice.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Yes. So okay, my.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Parents traveled to and from New Orleans, and I know
they were delayed in New Orleans coming back for a
few hours.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
Okay, but you know they made it. They made it.
How Yeah, she's she's good and yeah they're good. So
we're coming up on Thanksgiving. What are you doing so thanks?
Speaker 1 (03:26):
You know, usually Thanksgiving we host at my house, yes,
but this year Corey's high school basketball team travels on
Thanksgiving to Dallas, Texas to play in a basketball tournament.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
Okay, so they play that Friday and Saturday.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
So and Want has been helping, so he's actually on
the staff at Corey's high school.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
Yeah, so he'll be traveling with them too.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
And so I'm like trying to make the decision whether
Carter and I were going to go with them, and
Carter's kind of like, nah, I want my Thanksgiving meal
at home, like I want, like he wants me to
like still hold Thanksgiving dinner.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
And I'm like, I feel like that would be weird
without without half your family.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Yeah, so you got a decision to make.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
I know, I think I'm gonna end up going on
the trip. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
So we'll see, but I'm like really like not feeling
hosting anything if they're not here.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
So, and the game is on Thanksgiving. No, no, it's on Friday,
but on Friday. But they have to get there, okay.
So are they leaving in the morning plusy like twelve okay, Yeah,
and then they're going to have a Thanksgiving meal either
at like a restaurant or something catered, Like they're going
to gather for Thanksgiving.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
So, but I'm sure.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
It won't be like the same we used to do that,
Like when one played an NBA we would have to
travel on Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving in a hotel and it
was just like the meals were always dry. Yeah, there
was no dressing. That dressing was dry. The dressing was
cranberry sauce bad, the mac.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
And cheese bad.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
They made a what's a green bean casserole? Oh?
Speaker 3 (05:01):
Did you have any seasonings? Not really? Okay, Yeah, that
was that was bad. Okay, I didn't give my shady moment.
I know you didn't. Yeah, what is it? Okay? So
I went on a date. Oh nice.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Last week I went to a new restaurant in but
that's it's called.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
Bow Bow Lena. I think that's what it's called. It's new,
it's cute.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
It's part of a chain of different restaurants.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
What's the cuisine? It was American? Is French? Frenchy American? Yeah?
I don't know what that means. Anyway.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
I had on these very cute do your boots that
I've had for a while. Right, they're super cute. They're
kind of like kaffee, right, And I was looking what
else did I have on that day?
Speaker 1 (05:51):
So I had all my little boots I had on.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
Did I have on a skirt? A dress? I don't
know what else I had on?
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Disney the matter all right, because when I got home
to take my little boots off, I couldn't the zipper broke.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
Oh So, like you know how if.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
You zip something and the zipper breaks, the part that
zipped up it comes apart, right, so then you zip
it down and zip it back up.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
Yeah, it wouldn't zip back down.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Oh no, So I like Legit was like it was
like a thirty minute like tusseling session with my with
my foot by right, foot by by myself. So because
I was thinking maybe I could slip my foot out
because it was it had like opened up a bit,
long story short, I ended up having to.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
Cut Yeah, these boots oh no, oh no, that are.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Now in the trash can. In the trash can. Why
don't you take them to a cobbler. I had to
cut the leather. I couldn't cut. I couldn't cut the
zip zipper. No, I had cut the leather.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Why couldn't you cut this zip because the zipper is
the metal part.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
Yeah. Anyway, they're in the trash can and do or
do better? Do better?
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Do your because these shoes were not cheap as we know,
right and I've had them forever and I've loved them.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Okay, yeah, do you or do better? Damn yes?
Speaker 1 (07:01):
I had to cut Literally, I was like crying. It
was like the last resort.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
That's horrible. Yeah yeah, but what was I gonna do?
Speaker 2 (07:09):
Like I was gonna have to like commit to them forever,
like see with them, shower with them, do everything with them,
work out with them.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Like I couldn't do that. I couldn't commit.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
No, No, there's no commitment from these doorables.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
No, no, we're not doing that. No. That freaking sucks. No,
tur terribly.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Speaking of things that also sucked, did you I have
to show you this because I was like, this is
the funniest thing that I've seen in a very long time.
So this man, I guess he's decided he no longer
wanted to get up from the couch and like go
get like a new beer from the refrigerator. Okay, so
he decided to wear it, right, wear what so he lefrigerator?
Speaker 1 (07:51):
Okay, hold on, watch so it's in his Oh my gosh,
a brand new Hennessy hoodie.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
It's a Hennessy.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
It's so oh my god, in his vest and all
he has to do like his sleeve. It's like a
little tap and he could poured into a.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
For sale for sale listen.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
I don't know, I don't know, but whoever, you can
put anything in here, I'm sure, but I'm sure it
starts with Hennessy. But I promise you, this is the
funniest thing I've ever seen.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
But if you're going somewhere.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
Like a basketball game, or if you're like had a
football game, like this is genius.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
It's genius.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
It's actually kind of cute actually, like, yeah, it's not
bad looking on him. Yes, it's like a nice little
vest looking thing.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
But like as the vest gets okay, so the liquor
obviously is brown, and then you see the white. I
wonder where it has to be for him to be
very drunk, like the levels of drunkness.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Yes, yeah, so that is like alcohol poisoning drunk. That's
what that's about to be crazy. So we'll post this,
but this, this made me laugh.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
That's hilarious. Yeah, oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
Before I forget, I have to give a shout out
and a huge congratulations to my brother.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Oh what do you do?
Speaker 1 (09:04):
He was nominated for a Grammy. Huh yes, So my
brother is a spoken word artist. Okay, Mark Marcel and
his album His spoken Words. So he's nominated for Best
Spoken Word Album.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
Okay, this is his last name Dixon, I mean Brag.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
No, well, it was one point in his life changed it.
Oh wow, when did that happen in his twenties? Oh
he said brag I said that.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Was his slave name. Wow.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Yeah, because but his father also has Bragg. So but
his father was not a slave.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
Yeah. Okay, you know we're gonna we're gonna ride with it.
We're very different people. Okay, all right, yeah so so yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
So he he was nominated for a Grammy the Best Spoken.
Speaker 3 (09:47):
Word Poetry Album. So when do we know if he won?
Grammy night February first? Oh yeah, yeah, Okay, he's obviously.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
Oh yeah, he's going. He's already out. He already like
lives in La so I can definitely be there. But
he he's like he's I admire him for his like
persistence and hard work. Like he's been doing spoken word
for gosh over probably twenty five years at least yeah, okay,
So what's spoken word is that like poetry poetry to music.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Not no, it doesn't have to be music. It's pretty
much poetry, okay. Yeah. Like, and he would perform live.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
I mean he's been performing live for like since he
was like early twenties, okay, And so he's been doing
this for a really really really long time.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
I never really like.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
And he tried to get nominated last year for Grammys
but but didn't get it. But this year he got
the nomination. It's like super creative. He's written like so
many books, he's done like animated series and a lot
of things that he's like trying to get off the ground. Yeah,
so hopefully this Grammy nomination leads to a lot of
other things for him.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
Yes, congratulations, congratulations in advance she got nominated.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
I know.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
It's like you can just like when we were nominated
for the na A C p wor we're like we
can always say we're nominated, we're nominated, and he can.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
I mean, just to be able to say.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
I'm a Grammy nominated artist spoken word artist.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Likes that's gonna in the world of spoken word.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
You know, if if people were to hire spoken word
artists for something.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
I mean, that's going to increase his value totally. So
that's awesome. So yeah, I love that.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
So if you're into spoken word, look come up.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
So who do we need to make call to make
sure that he wins? It's like, is that like jay Z?
Speaker 3 (11:31):
Like who I put the call in? Not a problem? Maybe? Maybe?
And who is he up against?
Speaker 1 (11:40):
So interesting? Maybe there's like five people in the category.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
I'm not sure.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
One of them is Omari Hardwick, who you know goes
from Power Yes, I know, I know.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
I'm well, was on my flight going to oh okay
Cape Town. Okay, yeah, no you didn't. I didn't tell
you that. I don't think so, yeah he was. It
was okay, but go ahead. Yeah, so one of to
Mario Hartwick.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
The other people, I'm not quite sure who they are,
but they're other spoken word artists.
Speaker 3 (12:05):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Yeah he was super. He was I guess traveling, I
don't know, maybe for work or something. He was well,
he had a guy with him and.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
He was.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
He was super respectful, like to my children and just
nice and yeah, he just seemed to be a very
nice guy.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
I remember meeting him years ago. It's probably like second
year of Potomac. Second season of Potomac. I was doing
a TV interview for w USA nine Channel nine CBS
News and he was there.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
Too, promoting something.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Okay, yeah, I never met him before, but introduced and
introduced ourselves.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
He gives me a hug.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
I swear I still feel like I'm still sore from
that hug, Like he gave me like I ain't getting
and at that time, I was like, I think he
was like ghost at that time, and I was like, whoa,
even though he's a little too short for me, Okay,
I'm but you're take not sure for he's he's not
shorter than me.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
Yeah, yes, well with heels on, yes.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
With heels on, yes, he would be yes, I still
take them. Yeah. I was like, I mean he gave
like the firmest, strongest hug.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
And I was like, okay, yeah. I remember I was
explaining to him when we saw him. I was explaining
to my girls who that he played this character name
Gohoes and they were like, okay.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
We don't care, and I was like, no, let me explin.
This was like I was running home every Friday night
because it was.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Friday, right Sundays. Sundays was Friday, no Sundays, because it
would like Putomak would be on or coming on or
and I'm like, no, I'm watching Power.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
I remember I used to know it was Fridays. No
good show comes on a Friday. Find it was Sunday.
It's a Sunday night, Okay.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
And I would like dance in the living room to
the theme song and thin like I couldn't wait for
the next episode.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
I was just talking to one about this, like, damn,
ghost was everything, and my kids know that's so weird.
My kids were like all about it.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
Well, but at the time, no, like they they know,
they know who ghost is from Power for sure.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
But did they watch it after? Like, my kids didn't
watch it?
Speaker 1 (14:13):
They probably maybe said they probably watched it while I
watched it.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
Okay, yeah, yeah, no my kids didn't.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
But why they kill him, I don't.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
Know, because that thing was I I loved his relationship.
We're going on the deep dive.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
I love his relationship with Angela, not his wife, and
just their backstory and all that. Yeah, I was I
was here for ghosts. Yeah, ghosts could get it all
day now.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
Ghosts just like Stringer Bell, Stringer Bell, I'm.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
Still looking for string off.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Okay, speaking of shows, because you talked about before we started,
your son was watching.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Jackal Yeah, which I loved. Yeah. On Peacock, Yes, loved it.
Can't wait for the next one.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
So Peacock, I didn't know like has shows like for Real.
Speaker 3 (14:59):
They have a new show that I've seen people say
to watch. I haven't watched it yet.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
All her fault, right, that's what I want to talk about. Okay,
So I don't want to spoiler for anybody, and yes,
you should watch it.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
But I was very disappointed with the ending.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
Oh okay, yeah, I wanted I wanted something a little
bit more.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
You gotta watch it so we can talk about it, okay, yeah,
but so so you got so this girl was on Secession,
which we loved.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
Succession. I didn't finish it. What what's wrong with you, Robin?
I don't know. It was a little slow moving for me.
I didn't see any guns moving on, moving on.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
I loved how recently it must have been her birthday.
There was the all of these old pictures of or
maybe she I think she put them up of Michelle Obama.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
I had shady moments, guys. I'm sorry, Okay, Okay.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
We'll get back to you, shady Mark Michelle Obama like
back in the day.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
Why does it look exactly like Michelle Obama. Okay, so
all of these hairstyles. I'm so here for all these hairstyles.
Speaker 3 (16:02):
Let me tell.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
You these things are amazing because you know how she
got the hairstyle, meaning like this one down here in
the corner it had she has like a little like
curl rolles.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
A sponge roller.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
You know, she put a sponge roller in the front.
She slept up the sponge rollers totally here for that.
You had a sponge roll this up here. That the
curl is like kind of there, kind of not.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
I feel like, yeah, I don't know how you got
that one.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
Well, she she sponge rolled that at night, right But
that side, that's the side she sponged to roll it
this way.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
No, that's the side she sleeps on. It got messed
up at night. Okay.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
So I just want to say to Michelle Obama, we
love you. I want you to continue posting these. These
were these throwbacks, yes, because they're everything.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
It was her birthday. It was her birthday. This right
here is everything to me. She has. She's this is
like a college.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
Look, she has on like a jean jacket jeans, and like.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
She's just chilling. She's just on the yard chilling like
this is everything. Listen.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
They used to be dressed back in the day, like,
you know, I'm going to class looking like this. This
is fancy, right, she was looking as Yes, so Michelle,
we love you, Yes, we do. Okay, So this is
not a shady So I want to know, is this shady?
Speaker 3 (17:17):
Okay? Okay? I have a neighbor. I won't tell you
which one, but.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
It's left her to the right, okay, that's to the right, okay.
And so whenever I'm like in my car pull out
the driveway to leave the house and they're outside, you know, I.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
Wait, I wave to them, just like I wave to
anyone else, right, And he always waves back with his
head turned away. So he'll wave like this, Okay, that's weird.
Is that shady? Like?
Speaker 1 (17:55):
So he's like not, he won't look at us to
wave to us, So he'll he'll see us, he'll put
his hand up and he'll turn his head the other way.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
Oh, he don't like y'all.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
And it's it's like and I'm just like, what does
she do she's fine, Okay, she's friendly, she waves like
all of that. But I'm just like, then this has
been happening. This is not like a one time thing. Yeah,
it's every single time, no way.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
And I'm like, is there.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Something here or is this just like I don't know,
does he have autism?
Speaker 3 (18:28):
And you don't like you know what I'm saying, I don't.
Speaker 1 (18:30):
Okay, you just made your name of autistic.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
This is crazy, okay.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
So but and this is a thing that you cannot
address right because if you address it, it's petty, right,
and it's like, look, you're you would then look crazy
if you address it.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
But for me, I'm very I was you know, I
raise my kids to make eye contact, look people in
the eye when you talk to them. I was raised
to look people in the eye. So for me, this
is just it's like it burns, it like eats at me.
Because you know how I'm all like about my proper yes,
you know, salutations and all.
Speaker 3 (19:02):
Of that type of stuff. Yeah, we know.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
But I'm like, is there more to it though? Is
it just like you don't have home training, like your
parents never.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
Told you to look people in the eyes yea?
Speaker 1 (19:12):
Or is it like you don't like us. Think he
doesn't like you or not you have you been with wine?
Speaker 3 (19:19):
Maybe it doesn't matter who it is, doesn't matter. Yeah,
he don't like either one of us. He don't want
y'all next, he don't want y'all living next to him. Yeah,
there's an issue.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
But you can't fix this issue because you can't bring
up this issue.
Speaker 3 (19:30):
Yeah, I'm not going to bring it up. And it's
to the point where I'm like, I don't even don't wave. Yeah,
stop waight are you gonna stop waving? No? Okay, no,
i'd have been stop waving. Then it's just weird.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
It's like and it's like I'm like and it's like
I wait for them to do it. I'm like, look,
he's gonna turn away.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
I always think my neighbors are going to cost me out.
So I was driving out of my neighborhood and there
was a guy he lives like three houses down.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
He was We had to pass each other. Yeah, so
he like stops me. So you know, when you're passing
each other close, you know, I rolled down my window.
Speaker 3 (20:03):
I thought he was going to roll down his window.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
No, he kissed out the car and I was like, oh,
my god, I'm about to get cussed out.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
What have I done?
Speaker 1 (20:11):
And he just wanted to tell me he likes my
car and he wanted to ask me about my the
G sixty three. Oh and he's about to buy an
electric for his wife.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (20:20):
So I was like, whoa who about to get cussed
on my street?
Speaker 3 (20:24):
Why do you have to get out the car? I
don't know why he had to get out the car.
That was a little weird, but he did.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
And I got a little nervous, and I'm like, if
you're gonna cuss me out, just don't do it on
my street. Like wait for me to like drive away
or something.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
So wait, this is what I really want to talk about.
So have you seen that this girl is talking about
her ex boyfriend's penis and house too big?
Speaker 3 (20:46):
No? And she broke up with him because it's too big? No?
Speaker 2 (20:49):
Okay, Because this is a football player and you know
who it is? Okay, hold on, So his name is.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
Haley. Oh I did see this one, Tomcy. Okay, do
you know this guy is? He's a football player? No,
I don't know who that is. Okay, So he's an
he's her.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
Ex husband and yes, he's her ex husband, but she
said that one of the reasons why that relationship didn't
work was because things didn't work in the bedroom, and
it turned out the things that weren't working is he
was too large.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Oh wow, oh wow, that's a thing, though, that can
be a thing.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
No, no, no, no, it's a thing. Right.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
So you know it's all cute when you're young and
you're like, yeah, right, let's let's conquer this mountain.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
But then like it's a white guy, is it? Or
yeah it is? Oh wow? Yeah, okay, like kudos to him.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
Okay, so has that ever happened to you?
Speaker 3 (21:44):
No? Okay, I mean too large. I'm used to the
one that I have clearly clearly. Okay, I'll speak for me.
I'll speak for me. Getting nervous over here.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
So a little while ago, and I'll say a little while,
like maybe yesterday.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
So I that wasn't yesterday.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
So so it was going to be the first time, right,
And I laid my eyes on it, and I said,
ain't no way what that is like a baseball bat?
And no, you're not about to tear up my insides.
So that's not happening.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
I was like, I made it some excuse for it
not happening. I was like, I'm not doing that. That's
just no white player.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
Did you You didn't tell them? Why? No?
Speaker 1 (22:31):
And I didn't really really so wait okay see now yeah,
like the pants were down, okay.
Speaker 3 (22:41):
So.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
It was a situation and Giselle decided she was not
going to climb that mountain and I didn't do it.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
Okay, So are you gonna like go back again? No? No,
that was the end of the relationship.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Really, yes, in my mind, I'm like, you know what,
I don't want to set myself up for that.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
Yeah, and that's it's great for him. On the record,
you don't have any insights.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
Why don't I have insides, Robin? Because I have my
us removed?
Speaker 1 (23:13):
Yeah, but I still have like stuff there, walls whatever.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
But it should be more comfortable because you don't have
no because they sew it. Oh what okay?
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Okay, so if you this is way too much information
for the podcast. But if you do get a hysterectomy.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Okay, they you can't just it's not just free, like
it's not like what do.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
You call it a vast hole?
Speaker 2 (23:37):
No, they have to like sew up your cervix or
sew up what would be Yeah, I guess it's your
service that have to sew it up at the top.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
Did to sew it so they move it up some
so you made a little bit more room, so.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
I don't anyway, they got to sew it up there
so that it closes, because so you're not just like
some hole like with never ending hole fast ocean.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
In t ways too much for you on the podcast.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
But but correct, That's what I did think.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
Does it feel differently after the hysterectomy? Okay, yeah, it's
not different in the beginning, yes, because you just have
to you're healing up. Yeah, okay, but you don't okay,
all right, but nothing different just about No.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
Actually it's better now because before it was painful because
I had all those fibroids and all that. Yeah okay now, yes,
but what he won't gonna do was just tear my
stuff to smithereens We're not doing that. No, So I'm
just all I want to say, is I empathize, yes,
young lady that she is going to leave her big
dick husband. Yes, yes, don't know what I just like,
(24:49):
if you can't do it, you can't do it. Yeah,
and how about this, ma'am You shouldn't.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Have married him, right, you should?
Speaker 1 (24:56):
How long did she how long did she suffer? She
was suffering, sacrificing and suffering.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
I don't know, but I'm sure there was Manyon Knights,
but she was just like, you know what, let me
call some one of my girlfriends to come finish you
off because this is not fun.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
Yeah, he's gotta like he's got to go with like
the porn actresses. They can take him, yes, yes, they
can take them.
Speaker 3 (25:18):
I want to talk about Did you watch All's Fair? So?
I haven't yet?
Speaker 1 (25:23):
Okay, sod So All's Fair is a show on Hulu.
It is a cast of Kim Kardashian. I think she's
like an executive producer, so she's like, I guess you
would call her the main character.
Speaker 3 (25:38):
It's a legal team of women.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
So Kim Kardashian, Nissi Nash, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, and
Glen Glenn Close are all on this show. And it
got a zero percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
But I have a what's the theory? Because I watched it?
Oh you did?
Speaker 1 (26:03):
And I believe that this was intentional, that the production company,
the PR company, whoever is behind this show intentionally did
something to make it have a zero percent or rotten
tomatoes so that people would talk.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
About it, would talk about, oh my god, the show
is so bad it has a zero.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
Percent, so that people would watch it to find out market. Yes,
I believe that because I watched it and it's not.
There's no way it's a zero percent. It's actually good,
like I enjoyed it. It's not like it's like a comedy.
It's a legal kind of spoof.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
What do they call it?
Speaker 1 (26:40):
Can they call it camp like campy? Yes, yeah, it's
like a campy type show. And okay, yes it's Kim
Kardashian gonna win a freaking Emmy.
Speaker 3 (26:49):
No, she is not.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
However, she did get better. They released three episodes. She
got better as the episodes went on.
Speaker 3 (26:56):
She's not bad.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
The fashions are great, niece Nash's got, Glenn Close is great,
Naomi watched great, like the support Sarah Paul's and they're great,
like they're they're great actresses. And so there's enough to
make this show good. And the stories are interesting, they're easy,
it's light work, like I don't I don't know why
I got a zero. But my theory is that they
intentionally did it. They intentionally put out negative feedback about
(27:19):
this show so that people would be like, oh my god,
I've got to watch this show. Yeah, so the person
I was stealing my Hulu with my Hulu account and.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
Somehow I got kicked off. So because I went to
go watch it and then I realized I was.
Speaker 3 (27:32):
Kidding, they did get up again. Had nothing to do
with Large Phoenix.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
Sorry, one of my girlfriends I got booted off and
I didn't want to call her and be like, girl,
can you put me back onto the Hulu account?
Speaker 3 (27:45):
But I do want to see it? Yeah, yeah, no,
it's good. I like it. I'll give you my Hulu account.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
Okay, good, good, good, Not now when when we get home,
when I get home, when I'm about.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
To work, thank you, I haven't. I enjoyed it.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
I'm going to keep watching, like I guess they released
the episode yeah and yeah, and you let me know
what you.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
Say, So it's gonna be once a week, I guess.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
So okay, yeah, so I wonder I assume the next
episode should be out soon because I feel like, yeah,
they must have released them not too long ago.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
Yeah. Oh yes, So Jennifer Aniston. Anniston has a new man, Yes,
a new bookie. Apparently they've been together for a while.
Oh really yeah, okay, so they're like finally like out. Yeah.
He's very handsome, very nice guy. Yes.
Speaker 1 (28:26):
But so I saw a clip of something he said.
I think it was on his Instagram, and it was
so like, I'm like, okay, I like this guy, and
it was like very profound.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
Okay, all right, let's hear it.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
So someone had asked him because he's some sort of
like maybe dating coach, relationship coach type of like, yeah,
a vice type person, right, Okay, So they asked him
a question. They said, how do you find love at
forty two? At the age of forty two? Okay, right,
A lot of people have questions like that, Yeah, how
do you find love in your forties? He said, the
(28:57):
same way you did at twenty two and thirty two,
but with more confidence, experience, and authenticity.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
And I said, oh, I like that. I love that.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
Yeah, he needed all of that to bag Jennifer no Qua, right,
because she's like that girl to me.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
Yeah, yeah, for sure.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
But I feel like that is great advice for everyone
out here, you know, looking for love and your you know,
midlife and above.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
No, you you do it the same way you did
when you were younger. You just are more authentic, more confident.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
Yeah, you know.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
So, how do you think when Brad Pitt looks back
at his two ex wives?
Speaker 3 (29:36):
Yeah, which one do you think he likes better? Jennifer Aniston?
Speaker 1 (29:40):
Absolutely? So, this is this is our little comments.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
The one that got away probably, like you know, he
threwed it up. I know that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
He fumbled that, Okay, right right, like he probably really
that's what that means. The one that got away is
the one that yeah, because people have said that to me,
like you you're the one that got away?
Speaker 3 (29:59):
Yeah, I left?
Speaker 1 (30:00):
Well, right, Like, so he lost her, that's the one
like he lost and regret he probably regretted.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
Yeah, totally totally. She because maybe I think so, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
Because you know Jennifer, I mean not Jennifer, but Angelina
kept him in the courts for a very long time.
Speaker 3 (30:17):
Aren't they still? I think it's over now. Okay.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
So research shows that thick thives, thick thighs save lives,
save lives.
Speaker 3 (30:31):
Did you know that? I mean, I've heard the motto before.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
Though some said you get it from your mama. Okay,
I want to say I got my thighs from my
Mamaka Me and my mama out here saving lives. Okay,
So thick thighs save lies by decreasing heart disease, diabetes,
high blood pressure, and mortality risks.
Speaker 3 (30:51):
I'm going to guess why.
Speaker 1 (30:52):
Because the fat is more in your thighs, yes, than
in your belly. Yes, boom, I'm gonna live for ever,
Live for ever, live forever. Yes, me and my mama
living forever. There you go, Yes, and then yes, Grace
got some thick thighs.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
We're gonna be here for a long time. That makes sense? Okay?
Is that like weird? Because like I've heard that motto
dives thick.
Speaker 1 (31:17):
Tis thick thighs saved lives, and I've never really understood
what that meant. Yes, do you think that is where
that came from?
Speaker 2 (31:26):
I think no. That thick thighes save lives is a
sexual thing. It's just like it saves men from being sad,
lonely and depressed. Yes, Yves, you know okay, thick should
be able to handle a big penis.
Speaker 3 (31:44):
Yeah, has something to do with you nothing, nothing nothing. Okay. Look,
so you talked about your opinions on.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
Beards, right, I did, very long time ago. Yeah, I
guess what happened?
Speaker 3 (31:57):
People started cutting them off. That is kind of true.
You don't see them as as much yep. Okay.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
What is your opinion on men who use the hair spray,
the Beijing hair spray to fill in their balding, to
make their hair, you know, look darker.
Speaker 3 (32:17):
Are you familiar with this? Yes, yes, I'm very familiar
with it. Yes. So what is your opinion on that
He's gonna kill me if he knew I was going
to tell the story.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
Oh god, but there was a guy that I was
I guess I was married to him and he.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
Okay, process of elimination.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
One of my ex husbands I have several. He decided
to use it, and he then went to go preach.
Speaker 3 (32:49):
Okay, right, and.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
This is when the Beijing stuff was new. Yes, right,
he went to go preach, and obviously, if you're preaching,
your sweating. Yes, So it was like running down his face.
Speaker 3 (33:01):
I was like, oh no, this is a disaster. So
that's that.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
Those are my thoughts on the Beijing I'm like, now
that I'm sure, Like that was probably twenty something years ago.
Now that we're here, I'm thinking it's improved the quality
and how it can be applied. Right, I'm here for it,
Like if that makes you feel better about your loss
of hair.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
Good.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
So, Okay, so obviously you haven't seen the clips of
NBA player Jalen Green Jayleen Brown. I'm sorry, Jaylen Brown.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
Is that Drea? No, who's Drea Jalen Green?
Speaker 1 (33:41):
Okay, So this is Jaylen Brown. The place for the
Boston Celtics and they won a national champion I'm not
in an NBA championship.
Speaker 3 (33:49):
And all that.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
So he's a really good player, makes you know, three
hundred million dollar contract whatever. Yes, So his black hairspray
has been rubbing off on opponent's jerseys.
Speaker 3 (34:00):
So like he goes to like make a move and
and you know, gets.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
Down low, and then his hair rubs against the jersey
and then the player has black all over their jersey.
Speaker 3 (34:15):
So this has happened a couple of times, and so.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
Then they have to go, he has to go change
the other guy's changed his jersey. I mean, I don't
know what happens after that, but it's there for everybody's embarrassed.
So I think he was a little embarrassed, like I
think he was. I think he put up a post like, man,
I got a video, Man, I gotta he was calling Lebron, Lebron,
I gotta talk to you, Like, what do you do?
Because we all know Lebron is using some type of
(34:41):
magic in his hair.
Speaker 3 (34:41):
Yes, yes, forever.
Speaker 2 (34:43):
So Lebron needs to go to Turkey and just get
a hair transplant. He may have I don't know, no,
because he would have a hairline, true, yeah, true, his
his like comes and goes, but his is never rubbed
off for anybody.
Speaker 1 (34:56):
So it rubbed off. And that made me think. So
one time Wan got this because it was a few
years ago. He's like, saw this local barber and they
show these videos, he transformation videos to guys.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
They start off and.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
They have like no hair, they got you know, the
all the whatever, they're balding and stuff, and then you
do the little video and you turn around they look
brand new, right, They're all.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
Young and good. And so he went to get it done.
He went to this barber.
Speaker 1 (35:21):
Okay, he went to get it done, and he came
home and he walked in the door.
Speaker 3 (35:25):
Yeah, and I busted out laughing. I was like, that
ship out hair right.
Speaker 1 (35:33):
Now, Okay, why would you why would you not affirm that, man?
Speaker 3 (35:36):
Why would you be like wine, it looks good.
Speaker 1 (35:38):
However, I busted out laughing, like what is this.
Speaker 3 (35:43):
Nonsense on your head? He didn't tell you he was going.
He told me he was going. He was excited. These
guys in the videos they look good. He's like yeah,
He's like, yeah, I'm gonna have my hair bag. Yeah.
So did he wash it?
Speaker 1 (35:54):
And I don't think he knew at that time, like
what the process was. I think he knew that it
was like all this like spray and stuff.
Speaker 3 (36:02):
I don't know what he thought the man was doing.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
Okay, yeah he washed it out like immediately, No way, immediately.
Speaker 2 (36:08):
So there's another guy so crazy that we're talking about this.
There's another guy that I was dating and he went
and got his tattooed.
Speaker 3 (36:14):
Oh so it was like kind of.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
Like you know how you can do your eyebrows. Yeah,
it was similar to that and right, and so I
saw him right after his.
Speaker 1 (36:26):
Appointment and it looked good, and I was like, so, like,
what's the upkeeper the treatment or whatever.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
He was like, well, you know, I can't sweat for
like a week? Oh wow. So I was like, how's
that going to work? And then he was like I
don't know, oh wow.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
And then we may or may not have been having
sex that night, and I was like, you're not supposed.
Speaker 3 (36:47):
To be doing this. You mess it up the whole thing.
He didn't pay hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
To that, well okay, no, he made a lot of money,
but it was like, you know, you.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
Just ruined it.
Speaker 1 (36:58):
So did he ruin it? It's and how does it work?
Like how many you have to go to? Several treatments?
That was like number one, so he had to go
back and get more. Okay, So did it in the
long run work?
Speaker 3 (37:11):
I don't know. I don't think. I mean, did it
work in my opinion? Now? Okay?
Speaker 1 (37:19):
Yeah, okay, So back to my question, because when I
see guys, so when I you don't really watch sports
like that, right, but we watch a lot of basketball games,
and so we'll see coaches on the sideline and their
heads are like shiny and black, and we can just
tell that they have that stuff in their head. Okay,
they don't have on a is this is this NFL basketball?
Speaker 3 (37:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (37:42):
So like they're on the sideline basketball game and their
heads are like, it looks like a ken doll.
Speaker 3 (37:47):
You know how you know I got a hair on
a ken doll?
Speaker 1 (37:51):
Just trashing man, Yes we're not, I'm not. I'm just
saying it looks too done. Yes, yeah, it doesn't look
like it's you filled in hair, right, It's like super obvious.
And it's just like, Okay, I understand. Because it's women.
We wear wigs or extensions or weaves because we want
to have fuller hair, yeah right, or longer hair or
(38:12):
so we do all the little extra things too. But
I don't know, I just feel like the men, like,
I think you all should just shave your head off
if you're going bald.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
Yeah, totally, unless you go to Turkey and have one
of those transplants, which I've seen several and they are amazing. Really.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
Yes, I actually recommend it really if you're a guy
and you're on the fence, because it's not expensive over there.
If you're on the fence and you know it bothers
you that you don't have like a full head of hair.
Speaker 3 (38:39):
Yeah, it works and it looks really good. Really. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
So Wan was like looking at that too, right, why
shta go? But then then I saw a post, an
Instagram post or something about a man that went over
there and died.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
No, there's something else wrong with him. No, tell wanago,
matter of fact, out after this podcast, I'll tell you
to call. I want to go over there because somebody
just came back.
Speaker 1 (38:59):
Really yeah, okay, all right, yeah, so so the Beijing,
the spray, all of.
Speaker 3 (39:03):
That, leave that alone. Leave it alone, okay, because you
look like a Kendall. You're rubbing off on and what's
the what's the man's name, Jalen? Who's brown? J Brown? Yeah,
like back in the day. I don't even want to
bring this up.
Speaker 2 (39:18):
But like remember when Magic got HIV and they he
couldn't play because he might get and then somebody might
get it from him.
Speaker 3 (39:27):
All that stuff.
Speaker 1 (39:27):
Yeah, I feel the same about you messing up people's jersey, Sir.
Speaker 3 (39:33):
If you're gonna do all of that, you stay on
the bench. Just stay on the bench. Okay.
Speaker 2 (39:37):
Speaking of basketball players, to play guy who's dating Megan?
Speaker 3 (39:40):
They said, now he sucks because he's dating Magan.
Speaker 1 (39:43):
They said, now make the stallion has made Thompson Thompson
Thompson's Caroco in the trash can and apparently this I
didn't even know his like whether or not he was
good or not, Like I don't know these things.
Speaker 3 (39:56):
But now I know he used to be good.
Speaker 1 (39:58):
He's he's on I would say, the later end of
his career. Okay, he's like bat, he's not as good
as he used to be. I'm not going to blame
whatever he's blaming it on. I mean, no, shade to
Meg that that speaks to their relationship.
Speaker 3 (40:13):
She is a distraction. No, she's giving it to him
real good.
Speaker 1 (40:17):
Oh and his distraction and his legs is not working
on the court like they should.
Speaker 3 (40:21):
Yeah, maybe working somewhere else.
Speaker 1 (40:23):
That's definitely thing they should not be doing it.
Speaker 3 (40:26):
Yes, the day of and now that now they should not.
Oh is that was that a rule?
Speaker 1 (40:30):
It's not a rule, but it's like they know, like, okay,
if you have sex like the day of a game,
your legs are no I'm saying from your household, oh
kind of yeah, okay, yeah yeah yeah. So for football players,
you know, it's like Wednesday, well, I mean it's almost
it's individualized. However, in my experience, if they had a
(40:51):
Sunday game Wednesday, that.
Speaker 3 (40:52):
Was the cutoff.
Speaker 1 (40:53):
Yeah, okay, that makes sense. Yeah, that makes sense. Yeah, okay,
Wednesday the sunny. I mean, that's a long time I
feel like. But hey, it's a very physical game.
Speaker 2 (41:01):
Yes, so you need all of your you need all
of your sperm, you need all your testosterone, yes, yes.
Speaker 3 (41:08):
Yes, all of that. Yeah yeah, okay, one more thing. Yes, So.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
I heard this story. I wanted to get your opinion.
So I saw this on Instagram. So a couple was
invited to a wedding. Yeah, okay, they went to the
and it was the wife's the husband's coworker. All right,
the wife is telling the story. So they go to
this wedding. It's a small wedding, and they left the
(41:33):
card in the car like it was whatever the gift
they left in the car. So they go to the
wedding and they had to leave early because they had
somewhere else to go. So they leave the wedding. They
forget to take the card back in a few days later,
they get an email from the bride which says, hey,
you know, thank you for coming to the wedding. Just
going through our gifts, notice that you all didn't give one.
(41:55):
Should we here's our address? Should we be expecting a.
Speaker 3 (41:59):
Gift, bitch?
Speaker 1 (42:01):
No?
Speaker 3 (42:03):
What right?
Speaker 1 (42:05):
Like my thought, the audacity, the audacity to email and ask.
Speaker 3 (42:10):
For your gift? I mean, yes, should people should? Should
you bring a gift to a wedding? Yes?
Speaker 1 (42:15):
If you don't, fine, it's not like it's not a
big deal. Some people now it's not mandatory. Yeah, some
people don't have it. Yeah, maybe they will send it
later maybe whatever.
Speaker 3 (42:25):
But who emailed? Who does that?
Speaker 1 (42:27):
Someone and says pretty much, where's my where's my gift?
Speaker 3 (42:32):
And why didn't you give me a gift? Who's at
who's doing that?
Speaker 1 (42:35):
Asking for a gift? Like you shouldn't get married.
Speaker 2 (42:37):
I always feel like, if if that's your reason for
getting married, don't get married. I'll never forget. I was
dating this guy. I'm gonna let you'all go. I was
dating this guy and I ordered him. It was his
birthday and I ordered him some tennis shoes.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
And they were like pre order.
Speaker 2 (42:51):
So I told him. I was like, you know, and
I gave him a picture. I was like, I ordered
these that they haven't come in yet.
Speaker 1 (42:58):
Two weeks went by. He was like, so when am
gonna get my shoes? I was like, you're gonna get
him when they come like I don't want am I God,
just like not give you the shoes?
Speaker 3 (43:08):
Like what kind of person is that?
Speaker 1 (43:09):
Yeah, I broke up with him because I felt like
that was crazy, right, yes, and like yeah he did
get his shoes, but he lost me.
Speaker 3 (43:18):
Because he was not patient. He was not patient.
Speaker 1 (43:21):
It was just like I just feel like that was rude, right.
It's like, so you're just looking for a gift.
Speaker 3 (43:25):
You're just like waiting on your gifts. I'm in the
gift and I will always be the gift. Damn it.
I know, ever time for it or whatever, but whatever.
Speaker 1 (43:32):
Boy, he was excited for his shoes whatever, he lost
the real gift and that's me anyway.
Speaker 3 (43:38):
That's our episode for today.
Speaker 1 (43:40):

surety or both bite bite.
