Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Reasonably Shady, a production of the Black Effect
Podcast Network and I Heart Radio. Welcome to another episode
of Reasonably Shaky. I am Jaelle Bryants, sell us of

(00:21):
my people. This is Robin Dixon here. Thank you once
again for joining us. Listen, y'all keep coming back trying
to listen to what we're talking about, and we appreciate it.
Oh my gracious. Okay, so I have a shady moment.
I'm piste off about it. Oh, I want to know

(00:44):
what has pissed you off? Okay, So I have a
nice little white range Rover Sport, and I've taken it
to get all of its maintenance work and all of
it's whatever it needs to the old change whatever the
hell they do to these carts that, and then they
give me a bill for like twelve hours. But that's
a whole that's not even my shady moment. The shady
moment is my check engine light keeps coming on. So

(01:08):
I keep calling my little rep at the dealership and saying, hey,
you know, my my engine light is coming on. But
I just left y'all's place with my car a full
check up, like last week. So I've decided I'm just
going to ignore the check engine light. Really well, I'm
just passed because I'm just like I cannot keep I
don't have time to keep taking my car back. So

(01:29):
what are they saying when you go, They're saying, oh, well,
you know, with the new um what do you call
the with the new information and the downloads and the
blah blah blah. You know, sometimes the check engine light
is just checking the engine. That means, oh my gosh, okay,
So can I tell you we used to own well,
I mean we've owned multiple range Rovers over the over

(01:51):
the years, so I would probably say this probably back
in two thousand four, that same ship was happening, right,
Like we were literally at the dealer all the time
because of the check engine life and it would be
like so so, and back then it was like, oh,
the computer is just you know, to advance, and you know,

(02:11):
it's like getting adjusted to all the computerized So now, like,
what's the reason now? I don't know what the reason
now is because this that is so frustrating, right, So
I'm done with it. I don't care how long this
check engine line is on. And if something happens to
the cars, their fault. So arrangem over, y'all a shady
it's their fault, but they're not going to pay for it,
I know. And that's like, this is a part that's

(02:33):
really hard because it's like I bought a rangem over,
I have my second one that in the past, you know,
five years or whatever, knowing that they have these issues, right,
and I'm like, Where's Who's the problem? Is it us?
Because we keep buying because we keep buying them knowing
that these things misfunction malfunctioned like that, because mine, even

(02:55):
mine sometimes like I'll just turn my car on and
like none of my stuff wants to come on, you
know what I mean, like the radio, the screen, all that.
That's happened to me several times. Yeah, I think it's
us we need to But I love my car, I know,
that's the thing. I know. So it's like, what are
we gonna do. We're just gonna keep buying the same
car over and over again because we like it. And

(03:17):
I'm already so my car. I have the Villar, which
I'm my kids are outgrowing because it's it's it's too
small for them. It's too small for them. And I'm like, ship,
I know, but there you driving that car is so
cute on you. I love it. I love it, and
it's like perfect for like a single person, but not
for boys that are growing growing boys. And then when

(03:38):
one wants to get it, it's like I'm like why
why because you have no gas in your car probably
with driving mind, like anytime you've been like, let's take
your car. I'm right, it's the worst. It is the worst.
All right, what is your shady moment? So my shady moment? Okay,
so you know so in Howard County where I live, Um,

(03:59):
they need like new construction. The county forces you to
build these rain gardens in your yards. Have you seen
it like in my like the side of my front
yard where it's like, um, it's probably like a twenty
by twenty big ditch pretty much like I had water
to drain down. I have not seen a ditch. It's

(04:19):
not very deep, but it's in the front of my
yard right next to my driveway. You'll see it when
you leave out. You might be able to see it.
Can you look through the window and see it. You
just see where it's like a little what's the word
it's I see no ditches. People don't have No, it's
like a big hole, right, what a big hole that
I've never seen a hole of Robin's house. I don't

(04:40):
know what she's talking about. Right now that you're going
to see it, you're gonna apologize to me then you
see it. So it's a big hole where the water
drains and it goes to the Chesapeake or whatever. So
it doesn't you know, I don't know. I don't know.
It's some environmental ship. Right. So the other day, my
brother in law was over here as a baby and
he was about to leave out, and um, it was

(05:02):
like pouring rain and he's gone, And then he walked
back in the house, robbing, I'm stuck in the ditch.
Where is that ditch? I don't want to get stuck
in the ditch? Tho, Oh my god. So he and
you know, they lived with us for like three months,
so he's well aware of this, of this ditch, of
this rain garden, and he but he forgot so he

(05:22):
was backing out of the driveway like where he parked,
he parked like right in front of it, so like
he was backing out and just went right down and
into the ditch. How do you get him out the
ditch and suv like so, so then the cars like
on its side wheels and it's like stuck there and
he had to like hurry up and get out because
he was scared about the baby. Had to grab the

(05:43):
baby out. So the car was like literally on the
side of the like I'm gonna show you the picture
hanging shady Howard County for the ditch. You my my
brother in law, and then and then okay, so then
am not finished. So we called triple A, right, did you?
He couldn't get out the ditch. You know it was
it was like scary. It was kind of like, um,

(06:06):
we I'm showing her the picture, showing me the picture.
Oh wow, he was in a ditch. There is a ditch. Guys,
I'm looking at the picture. Where's my apology? Okay, I'm sorry.
So it's like, but you didn't describe this properly. This
is actually not a ditch. Yeah, I don't. I can't do.
It's like it is like let's say you have landscaping
and then the landscaping goes down. It's really for like

(06:29):
you said, for rain and for you know, stuff to
go rain, Like say, it's like a drainage pod. Drainage
drainage ditch. It's hard to say, so I get that.
And he he like to two wheels, so one side
of his car had like fallen into the low area
and so he's scared if he tried to maneuver out that,

(06:50):
like the whole car would like tip over. And that's scary. Yeah,
So it was stuck. So you know, we culture Bald
came an hour later and the guy is like perplexed.
It's like it so triple as the shady people shady
here my brother in law for forgetting that the damn
ditch was there, but triple A. So he's perplexed. So

(07:11):
he's like walking around the car and he's like, um,
you're gonna have to sign a piece of paper if
there's any damage. I'm not responsible, Okay, fine, whatever, And
he's like um, and he was like English was not
his first language, so he was not communicating with me
very well. And he was like, do you have a
toe hook? I'm like, no, I don't have a toka hook.
He's like, well, I can't do it, and he left

(07:34):
and he left right. People have gotten stuck, Okay, side up.
He I've had construction in front of my house. Remember
when I had dirt in front of my house. People
have gotten stuck in the dirt in the mud, and
they never say we can't do this, and it was
it was like horribly stuck. Yeah, yeah, yeah, say yes.
He's a shady one. So he left. So this was
a Sunday night, so I had to like call back

(07:56):
and you know, ask him, tell him the story. They're like, oh,
we gotta send us I show something something whatever. And
then Monday morning I was like, okay, I told my
brother in law, go get a toe hook from the dealer,
special part that goes in the front of the car,
so they could you know, hook on and pull it out.
So the guy comes, you know, the next day, and
he was like, I don't need the toe hook. He said,

(08:18):
his hooks on the back. I can just put my
chains right in. And of course he just put the
chains right under the back. It's like some little hooks
under the back of the truck. And he just put
him on their clipped it in and then pulled it out.
And I was like, did you get the name of
the first person because I want to report him right
to Triple A because he needs to be fired right.
So that was like, my our whole day was a

(08:38):
super convenience because it was like, you know, this went
into Monday morning, right, super inconvenienced because went into Monday morning.
He had to go buy this toe hook. We had
to wait for him to come back. I had to
oh my gosh, I had to let him drive my
car home, and then he had to come back so
I could take the kids school. It was just like
and I'm like really, but I just think the man,
the first man was like scared. I think he really

(09:00):
looked at it and was like he don't know what
to do. Well, he don't need to have that job, sir,
you're fired. Okay, we're moving on. Okay. So there's ladies
that I'm going to tell you their names. You may
or may not remember them. Okay, Teddy Mellencamp, Okay, that's
really Shade and Tamera Judge. Okay. They are two ladies

(09:26):
that used to be housewives. Okay. And I'm being shady
for a reason because the other day they posted Okay,
and I'm going to read a little bit of what
they posted. They said, can y'all believe our Heart Radio
hired us two knuckle heads and we are the most

(09:47):
listened to Housewives podcast tag whatever current or past Housewives
you would like us to have on next we aim
to please. So um Tamara and Teddy, y'all failed to say,
y'all are the most listened to non house for podcasts

(10:10):
former X and yes, I'm being shady and where and
where do you get the statistic from? Yeah, And I'm
gonna have to pull some my heart radio numbers, ladies,
because what y'all saying ain't true. And for the record,
the challenges on there's a challenge out here, okay, And
I'm gonna let the people. And so I want our

(10:32):
listeners to listen to their podcast y'all tell us which
ones you like? Okay, because because because this for me
was like fighting words. Really I kind of got offended,
did you really a little bit? I mean? Okay, So,
for those of you all who don't know what Tamara
Judd used to be on the Real Housewives of Teddy
Mellencamp was on What's that Beverly Hills? And actually I

(10:54):
like these two ladies. And don't get me wrong, Tamara, no,
I'm all due respect. You were on o C for
like all due respect. Okay, Teddy, you roll on Beverly
Hills for four minutes, so we're not even really counting you. Yes,
I'm being jady two teas in a pod with Teddy
Melancats and Tamraid Judge. But like, come on now, y'all,

(11:18):
y'all just gonna ignore Robin and Giselle. Really, I mean,
I think they did that um for attention clearly, right,
and we're giving it and you're giving it to Yes,
you just gave it to them because I mean, yes,
there are other housewives that have had or have podcasts
as well, Like, how are they gonna pron themselves the

(11:38):
most listened to? I don't know what? Are they pulling
everybody's numbers? Listen, I got people, and I'm gonna have
people pull them numbers, and we're gonna let the people.
We're gonna tell the numbers. But you know what, so
they probably get because they can talk all types of
ship about their shows and stuff that they are former housewives.
They don't have a contract. That means they don't have
no contract. Rob not got some contracts, so under contract

(11:59):
we can't say of things. So they might have a
whole bunch of nosy people want to hear him talk
about other Housewives, you know. Okay, but we're gonna move
on because the guy that we always say we're not
going to talk about I kind of want to talk
about it. Okay. His name is Kanye West. Because Kanye

(12:20):
has been in hiding lately. We haven't heard from him.
We haven't heard from him, and he must be on
his medication robbit that I'm not serious, he must be Okay, medications, Okay,
but he has done a deal with McDonald's. I saw
that design something happy meals things to make some happy meals.

(12:41):
What does that mean? What do you mean? What does
that mean? What is he gonna make monochromatic happy meals
or something like? I don't understand. Why do happy meals
need to be designed by Kanye West. The rapper was
suspended from Instagram and it's been months since he posted.
After attacking Pete Davidson, Trevor Noah and more. Today he
returned to pull some very interesting McDonald's packaging. He captured

(13:02):
the post teams up with legendary Mooshe industrial designer. Now
I told Fua to reimagine McDonald's packaging. The rapper appeared
in the McDonald's commercial for the Super Bowl, but no
word on what his collab will be. Okay, he's gonna
have to walk in the happy meals, all black happy meals, yes,

(13:22):
with like black masks, or I don't I don't understand
what are we doing. Listen, it's gonna be Kanye packaging.
I think I don't understand. Kanye, Stay in your lane, sir.
This is the whole point of the story. The last
thing we need him to design is a happy meal
for kids. These kids wearing black and neutral intent kids

(13:47):
are supposed to be wearing green and red and blue
and purple and yellow and orange and pink. They're gonna
be the sad meals. They will no longer be happy. Kanye,
Stay in your lane, sir. You're lane is music and
sometimes clothes. Okay, we're still we're still not convinced on
the clothes right exactly. Got people walking around looking and

(14:08):
we're wearing trash bags looking at home fashion. We love you,
but not really. Okay. They're like, oh, but this ship
is like comfortable, but they're ugly as ship like Okay,
moving on, speaking of high end fashion, Valenciaga is now
taking crypto for payment. Oh how about that? That is

(14:33):
actually a little scary. Is it scary? Why is that scary? Though?
It's scary because the way the world is going, there's
that and you know, if Valenciaga does it, then we
all know, like the rest of the high end will
do it, and then the rest of the world will
do it. But it's scary because I thought this whole
crypto stuff still wasn't regulated. I'm speaking of crypto. I'm
really frustrated with it at the moment. But I mean, yeah,

(14:56):
that's I think that is weird. It's like, I don't
even know if that's mean. I don't I can these
people know something we don't like? What because it's so
the market so volatile, so right, why take it and
you don't really know what it's worth? Yeah, yeah, I
totally agree with that. But maybe, yeah, maybe Bencia can
know something we don't know, and what is that? So
they're taking it like at their stores or yes, uh, okay,

(15:19):
a little strange, I mean not strange, but you know,
maybe we are moving in that direction and we're just
we're just late and slow. See how much crypto I
have left? Because Robins about to go shopping. Okay, because
she said I can't handle the up and downs of
the crypto business. I can't you have to leave it
there and like not look at it. I can't do that.
Oh I can so do that? Really? Yes, I mean

(15:40):
I look at it like every day. Oh why I know.
I feel like this is a whole another topic. I
think I had it written down, like how often do
you check your accounts like your bank account, your stock? Yeah?
Okay later, yeah, okay, because I I have things to
say about that. But I think that that's again based
off a personality. True. Yeah, and this is another thing

(16:02):
based off personality. How long is your we've Okay, like
how long do you keep it in? No? So, I
just saw a picture La La. We love you, we
think you're amazing, but your weave is damn near on
the floor. Is it really? It's like almost to her ankles.
Maybe it's just a wig we Okay, I'm gonna show
you the picture. So and it it made me feel

(16:26):
like this needs to be a discussion. I mean, this
is a new thing that I've been seeing. Like, so, yes,
I went to my kids school because my kids, by
the way, one awards and I'm we're gonna digress real quick.
So a door one the m v P of her lacrosse,
her lacrosse call it lacrosse lacrosse team. Team There we

(16:48):
go team was the VAM. Yes. And then like the
coach like read the reason why he was giving a
tour and it was like she's a natural warn lead her.
She just blah blah blah. Without her on defense, we
would have lost. And I just started crying. Yes, yeah,
that was amazing. Um, Angel, what does this have to

(17:11):
do with the weaves? Angel was the most improved on
her track team. Yeah, she got a little plaque and everything,
and most improved. I don't want you'll think almost improved.
It like she was trash. Yeah, but she was in
the beginning. She hasn't proved. Damn No, she's really good
unhearding that's awesome, okay. And Grace was just sitting next

(17:32):
to me. She didn't get nothing out. Okay. So the
point is all these people who winning, I'm at the
kids school and this girl gets up and her weep
literally really well her. She had like box breaks. They
were down, they were down to her thighs, and I
just felt like, what is this too long? I guess

(17:53):
I mean it's personal preferences. However, how much length you
can handle, like if you are okay walking aroun on
with your hair down to your cab, but just like
your neck start hurting. You had a hard think, so
your neck, your head and then you know, like how
many germs are you dragging into it? You know what
I'm saying? Like, and then what do you do when
you go sit on the toilet and pull it around
and twist it up? And I don't know. I mean

(18:14):
there's there's a chance it could touch the toilet water
that right, Yes, there is if you forget it's there. Yes, yeah,
I don't Yes, I I don't like anything on my head,
so that wouldn't that would work? That would I think?
Past the waist? Is it? It? Sho's not gonna pass
your butt? Yeah, that's just my preference. Weak people don't
come like stalking me, like, I just think outside of that,

(18:37):
what I mean, it's just too difficult to man, it's
just a lot. I know. I think I had Yeah,
because what Brenda who does our lashes, Yes, she had
extensions and she was like, oh, these are too long,
like I would never get them this long and it
wasn't even that long. I think they were just um,
I don't know, like they were like between her boob
and her waist, Like they weren't even that long, but
she was like she was uncomfortable. She just was so

(19:01):
ready to get them out because they were too long.
And so I guess it's just whatever you can started
making them the hair that long, because the hair would
not come that long. But now you can buy it
and it's down to the floor. So imagine how expensive
that is. Well, we're not talking about price, obviously, the
people don't care how much you call. I mean, I'm
just saying, just imagine. So I'm just putting out to

(19:23):
the people, this is a p s. A weaves longer
than your waist is too long for you. Yes, and
I might talk about you. I'm being shady, I might
talk about you. I mean, I'm I'm actually impressed if
someone can handle all that, really, yes, because I can't.
Like I'm not kidding. So it's impressive if you can
walk around comfortably and you know, feel good and look

(19:46):
good and right, I'm impressed. Right, Okay, So you're you're
not gonna be impressed with this because we're about to
talk about something. Okay. Just this is the difference between
Robin and just out we have we watched different movies.
There's a lot of movies that Robin is like, what
the hell are you talking about? Okay, So the other
day I called rob and I was like, look, Downton

(20:07):
Abbey is hitting the movie's theaters. Okay. She was like,
what the hell is like? Who? Well? I was like,
I was like, you never watched Downton Abbey And I
was like, what are you talking about? It's like, amazing,
you start at the beginning, yes, before you were born.
But I met her man. They spent a few days

(20:28):
together and he gives her a house. You never thought
to turn it down because if I turned down. In
the South of France, they were on for like six seasons.
And it's about back in the day when people lived
underneath the stairs. People lived like the servants. Okay, back
like in England, these big castles. People lived underneath and

(20:51):
the family would live upstairs. Okay, So they would ring
the bell and then the underneath people would come and
like bring them food and take her their clothes, blah blah.
So the whole world downstairs is a world. They have
their home, their own romances and all that, and then
upstairs it's a whole lot going on. You know, it's
because these are the aristocrats. But it's all done just

(21:15):
so what's the word romantically? Like, it's a it's very romantic.
It's like trauma. It's beautiful. The landscaping is all beautiful. Anyway.
So they've been off the air, but they decided to
do a movie and I'm all excited and I'm telling Robin,
we gotta go to movies, and she's like, kick rocks.
Hell you talking about Okay, I haven't seen it, Chet,

(21:38):
you haven't okay, but I cannot wait. Yes, I'm a
downtown Okay. So you really like the series, Like it's
like everything always sounds familiar to me, so I've heard
of it. So this is that that this is like
based in like it it primarily airs in London too, Yes,
like all of all of the most of the actors
and actresses are from there. They all have, you know,

(22:00):
huge accents, and they're just like proper people and it's
just nice to see how things were done back in
the day. So nobody gets murdered, Uh, somebody gets killed
in a car crash. Oh no, I want murders. I
want like shootin wants blood, give me blood. I want fights, murders,
I want drug cartels. Okay, I like all of that,

(22:25):
but in moderation, just like a nice story, a lice,
little love story or something. I mean, I want to
see pretty things I might watch like an when we
have been friends as children, Robin, that's the question. When
we have been friends, would you be like walking around
with rocks in your hands and I have flowers? I

(22:46):
was okay, boy, Robert and I met when we were
supposed to meet. Otherwise I'd have been like that girl
is rough, she's got an older brother. Oh he did,
was like beat up on me and we wrestled all
the time. And I followed behind him. So like when
I was growing up, I didn't watch Disney movies. My

(23:08):
parents didn't take me to Disney movies. They took me
to Rocky and Star Wars. And because it was like
my brother like whatever. It was like whatever my brother
wanted to do, and I just followed behind, which is
really sad, and I should complain to my parents, Yes
you should. They just took your little femininity, yes, like
my whole little girl girly childhood, Like I would get

(23:30):
to watch Disney movies when I would go to my
friend's house and that's where I would watch whatever Little
Mermaids and all that stuff. But like, my parents never
ever took me to do that stuff. The only thing
they did my mom made me. I twirled the baton competitively. Nice. Okay, marching,
that's like you're in a marching band. Not a marching band. No,
like like a baton twirling team, Like like, you know,

(23:52):
how do we do routines and stuff? And what's the winner?
What does the winner get? Athletes? It doesn't exist anymore,
it might not. Yeah know, it was like a team.
Like it's like almost like a dance team. It was like,
but we would have troloo baton to a song and dancing,
running around dancing. Wow. Yeah, so I did that as

(24:15):
a child. Um what else did I do? Girly? Ice skating?
Oh that's nice, a little Tanya Harding? Actually no, I
just socialized at the ice skating. But I gotta mixed up,
is it? Tanya Harding, Nancy Harding, Chicken, Nancy Karragan, Nancy
Carragand yes, the fight of fights. Speaking of fights, there
was an airport fight. Oh yes, airplane fight, I should say,

(24:37):
no airport. It was airport fight. Yes, what happened the one.
Oh my gosh, this guy he's a former NFL player. Yes, yes,
he got to smack down, which I didn't agree with.
By the way, I did not agree with this. I
agree with some violence, but oh my gosh. So but
it's hard because like the videos that we've seen, it's
like we don't know where it started, right, So we

(24:59):
don't really know who initiated the physical part, right, I
just know when I saw the part. I think I
when I when I initially saw this video. So it's
an airport. Uh, former NFL player at the airport was
a big dude. Yeah, big dude. Why receiver, cornerback whatever,
and the airport worker for United. Apparently the confrontation was because,

(25:23):
and this is funny in itself, Okay, he was pushing
his luggage in a wheelchair instead of paying for those
carts those. Where did he get the wheelchair from? I
don't know what the hell. He mustn't just found it.
And it's so why so he could say he was

(25:46):
gonna skirt the system. He's like, I am paying for them,
for them cards for the carts. Yah, so I'm gonna
put my luggage wheelchair, yes, sources telling ABC News it
all sorted when that employee asked for wheelchair that Langley
was using to carry his luggage. The situation quickly escalating,
Langley eventually knocking the employee out, but the agent getting

(26:09):
back up to continue the fight. United telling ABC News
it has fired the employee after investigating the incident and
reviewing video from a bystander. Langley briefly played for the
Denver Broncos this morning. He's charged with simple assault. That's insane.
So that's apparently how the whole confrontation starts. Okay, why

(26:32):
didn't his Why didn't his luggage have wheels on it
that he could just pull? Maybe he had a bunch,
I don't know. That's that's that's but the guy that
the worker was much smaller than so when that but
then when I saw the video of the worker squaring
up and slapping and g and then the football players

(26:55):
smacked him into the damn the luggage, bell I said,
I should not be laughing. I don't think I should
be laughing. But that's funny. He hilarious. Okay, well, it's crazy,
like why did nobody try to intervene? Would you? Would
you that was a big old football player. But would

(27:16):
you if I was a co worker, I would come
over and try to stop something I don't know. Or
maybe the co workers were like he had it coming.
Oh maybe yes, because he probably run his mouth too. Maybe. Yeah,
he had to been hotheaded to be trying to fight
this football I mean that ship was so fun. Can
you can you just imagine like airport workers right now,
like they've had it all the people that won't wear

(27:37):
a mask, but now the mask thing is done, but
they've just had it. Oh yeah, I'm sure. Yeah, I
know their job is really difficult. And then you have
it like you know when you have like travelers like
me who were like you know, I don't know, late
for their flight and they get seen you out because
you don't want to let him on plane, like Rob.
But we're working on your lateness. Okay, we're working on
the lateness. On a lighter note, yes, we would like

(28:04):
today to talk about our happy places because it's very important.
We just came off of Mental health month. It's very
important that you check into your happy place as often
as you possibly can. But you can you cannot Robin
abuse your happy place. Okay, what do you have to

(28:25):
say my name like that because I'm kind of talking
to you, Okay. Otherwise, the happy place just becomes a place. Okay.
So we encourage you to find your happy place, figure
that out, and then go there occasionally all the time. Okay,
where's yours? I mean, you want to know my happy place,

(28:47):
let me tell me yours first. I kind of feel
like you need to go first, Okay. Okay, Okay, I
know where yours is. Okay, it's either one or two places. Okay.
So a happy place is is a situation or an
activity that makes you feel happy. Okay, and then you know,
if there's a something that happened to you and it's
a memory, it's somewhere that you can go and have

(29:09):
that memory. Okay. That's actually has nothing to do with
my happy place. Robin's happy place is either one of
two places with either her bead or the toilet one
of the two. Yes, she's very happy in those places. Okay.

(29:31):
So my bed, I definitely feel like I when I'm sleep,
I'm smiling. Yes, I love sleeping, which it's not like
that's not living life, but sleep, I still love it. Okay,
this is a happy place when you're awake, Robin. But okay,
and I'd like laying in it. Okay, I like that. Okay,
So that's a happy place. The bathroom, I mean the toilet.

(29:54):
I don't want to be all graphic, but there is
satisfaction in getting a really good one out. Yes, your
stomach feels bad, yes, Like do you ever go to
the bathroom, You're like, oh my gosh, I feel so great. Yes,
after you're done, very true, very true. Okay, So that
those are two good places. Um. I will also say

(30:15):
for me a happy places watching my kids play sports. Okay,
I like that. I like that. Um. And then you
know what, it's you. I used to have a happy place,
like shopping at the mall, like I used to love
just like that would be like my stress reliever to
go shopping. Did you have to spend a dollar amount
in order to be happy? No, No, I would just

(30:36):
I don't know. It's just sometimes it's like like when
you just want to just like get away, that's what
that would be my getaway. But it's crazy now I
like barely ever go to the mall, like shop online
so much. Yeah the mall sucks. Yeah, but also I'll
give you a real good happy place. A happy place
for me is like at a like Sonny, at a
pool with the beach that pretty ocean. Yes, like that's
my true if I had to really pick a good

(30:59):
legit happy places and okay, I agree with that. The
pool all that, but with a drink oh yes, yes
everything drink music, yeah, you know. Just another happy place
for me is like a restaurant with like a nice
salad and a nice drink. I'm just like happy. I

(31:20):
don't even have to talk to you. I'm just happy
to be eating like good food. But my normal happy
place is I didn't want to say my bed because
that's just obvious, right, but like in front of my
bad I have a couch and if I'm like sitting
there and I have this weighted blanket over me, I'm
just happy. I could be doing nothing. We're looking at
the wall. I could be looking at the TV with nothing,

(31:41):
with nothing only because the way to blanket is like
a hug. Yes, oh, I feel so good. I feel
like I can conquer the world. And it's just like
a recharge, it is, and it's so important to do that,
like you know, just to take that time just to
sit quietly or lay quietly, you know, not be on
your phone right in return. Yes, so we would like

(32:02):
for you all to send us at what's up at
reason to be shady our websites. What's reason dot com?
What's up reason dot com? Yes, that's our email address.
Send us what's your happy place? And it cannot be
the bed and it cannot be the toilet, because we've
decided we we we need some creativity, okay, but genuinely

(32:25):
like what is your happy place? And I do agree,
Like when, especially when my kids were little, just being
home with them, I was just happy. Oh yes, I
love being on the on the couch with my kids,
like binge watching the show or something or movie. I
love that, Like I just love the fact that like
my kids are like Mom, I want to watch something
with you. It's definitely a happy place for me. Um,

(32:49):
I think that if we can always we want to
like relaish in these places. But you gotta you gotta
like let it go, you gotta like move forward. And
me especially now with the girls because they you know,
they teenagers and you know, I'm not as important as
all their friends, so they don't really want to spend
as much time with me. But like when we go
out and we go to like nice restaurants. I'm just
so happy. I'm like pumped. I love that. Yeah. And

(33:13):
then they get to the restaurant and then they had
like a holes and then it goes down south right,
and then on their phone the whole time. No, I
don't let them be on you don't. Oh that's nice.
Let me tell you. I took Angela the door out
um last week at a restaurant and they looked over
and they were like, ma, that kid is like on
his phone the whole time. And I said, how do
y'all feel about that? Because I've never let them do it,

(33:34):
and they were like, it's just rude. Yeah, oh that's good. Yes,
And the kid was sitting there with their with his
parents and yeah, guys, put your phone. I agree. I
think I should have story. How warm made us all
leave our phones in the car? No? I didn't. We
went out to dinner. Yeah, and it was so nice.
It was just like because one is always on his phone,

(33:55):
like you know, with recruiting and coaching and somebody's always calling,
and it was just really not for all of us
to leave our phones in the car. Yeah, you gotta
dial in So did you feel like you got to
know your kids better? And I did a period of time. Yeah,
I felt I felt like we had conversations that we
probably wouldn't have had, you know what I mean, just
you know whatever, Like there wasn't anything deep, but it

(34:17):
was and it was just quality time. Oh I love that.
And then they were also able to really enjoy their food,
you know what, Okay, like just really like just take
in the dining experience and enjoy their food. And in
these kids, Yeah, well my kids they don't remember life
without a cell phone. So and what's crazy is we remember, yes, yeah,

(34:42):
very well, and it used to be like really nice.
We survived. Yes, I don't know how we made it
because we depend on them so much. But it's just
like life was different back then. We need to get
back to that. I know, we're so far gone. I
take my phone sometimes not sometimes, but I'm always have
my phone, but like sometimes we'll be talking about something
and I'll have to look it up and to add

(35:03):
to for sure for sure. Yeah, but I'm happy that
my kids know that, Yes, being on your phones is
you know what else is rude? So this is such
such a side note. So, like I was out the
other day and I was checking on my kids and
I was like, are y'all in the bed, And they
were like, we're in a bad mom so this is
a text message. So then they started sending me pictures

(35:23):
of like pillows, and that they thought was the answer
to them. Like that was like clarity in the bed.
It was like proof, it's like receipts. We're in the bed.
You're sending me pictures of pillows. And Grace sent me
a picture of like the ceiling. Oh my god, stopping
y'all y'all face tigging them so fast? Where are y'all?

(35:43):
They were like, where in the bed? I was like,
y'all are lying right? They had those pictures stored on
their phone. This is when we need to send to mom.
These kids out here real tricky. But anyway, that is
our show, guys, unless Robin wants to say anything else, No,
I just want to give a shout out. We got
a nice email from Malene Jones. She said, love your podcast. Um,
