Speaker 1 (00:06):
Welcome to the Shady mail Bag. It's Giselle Bryant.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
What's up.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
I'm Robin Dixon and we are here with a new segment.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Yeah, it's kind of a segment.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Well, it's like a we're jumping into our mail we're
jumping into our mail bag and we're answering some questions.
We're letting y'all have sent us stacks upon stacks of questions, commentary,
all kinds of things, and we're now able to give
you more time, more of our time, yes, and kind
of go through it.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Yep. Yeah, yep.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
So we have a bunch of old emails that we've
gotten that we didn't get to read during our main episodes.
So we decided, you know what, we.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Don't want these emails to go unloved.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Yes, and so we're going to still read them and
we're just gonna read them on our dedicated Shady mail
Bag episodes. Yes, this will give a chance for you
all to hear your names, your letters, because people, we
appreciate you taking the time to write into us.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Yep. But it's you know, unfortunately, we.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Just can't read every single letter on our main episodes.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
So yeah, yes, I think they know that Robin, I
think they know. I mean, I just want to let
them know. Oh okay, all right, Coco cool, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
So we're going to pick up where we left off
with Melody A who sent us a rap because we've
been asking for a rap, yes, and she sent us
one and then it went left. So I think this
is the follow up, right, Okay, So it says, ladies,
you've always been the highlights of my Mondays, but today

(01:35):
question Mark, y'all leveled up here and Robin rap. My
lyrics was so awesome. I had a full Beyonce moment,
like where's my fan? And slow mo camera here our magic.
I do have to say though, that Giselle, it's my
shady moment, not because she called my third verse whack.

(01:56):
I'm gonna give her that, because, let's be honest, it
was so bad that wack is actually a compliment. She's
shady for sleeping on oh timok monk okay. I mean,
how has she lived the life she's lived without Tillamook.
I've never even seen Tillamook ever emerging her orbit. Yes,

(02:17):
their ice cream is amazing, but it's all about their cheese.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Really well, that's like what they are like, that's like
their main product.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
It's cheese.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Okay, there's no other cheese. I say, oh, there's no
other cheese. I buy Gizelle.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
It's time to wake up and taste the tillamook. Okay,
I'm getting on it. I've made it like a part
of like like, I'm looking for it.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
I'm looking everywhere for it. I'm found it yet, but
I'm gonna find it. Okay, she said, I digress. And
then she fixed the wax part whack part of her rat.
And now this is like Rat part two. All right, Okay,
we into it. Okay, so forget Batman with Robin. Gizelle
is here the sleigh. If you're looking for this Sha.

(03:00):
They got lots to say. You can forget the p
We're gonna roll with the R. Housewife or not. Rapping
is a star they.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Both worked with.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
They've they've both worked with traders on and off a show,
and they've both told losers that they gotta go. Some
housewives and faithfuls don't act like a lady. That's why
Giselle and Robin are reasonably shady.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Okay, Okay, that was much better. Okay, we like that.
We like that Melanie, A.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
That was much better, Melody, Melody, Melody, you said, Melanie, Melanie,
I'm sorry, Melody Melody, A.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
That was much better.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
So we're gonna keep this in our stack of raps
that we're trying to compulate, Yes, copulate, sure, put together?

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Okay, thank you though, thank you? Thanking? All right? What
else we got?

Speaker 3 (03:52):
Alrighty, so we have Look, we are taking it back.
I'm telling you how many letters we have to twenty
twenty three, two whole year, damn, damn. William Jenkins wrote
in two years ago in August, he said, Hey, Robin
and Giselle love the podcast. You two are my favorite
part of Mondays and you help keep the Sundays Scaries
at back. Okay, I hope William's still listening. I have

(04:14):
a question for you, lovely ladies. If you make plans
with a friend and they don't get back to you
in a few days, is it shady to make other
plans for that day? For instance, if it's a Thursday
and you ask a friend to hang out next Saturday,
but they don't get back onto but they don't get
back to you until that Saturday, what would you all

(04:37):
do in this case?

Speaker 2 (04:39):
So were the plans confirmed.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Well, right, so that's my question.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
It's like maybe they weren't.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
So so if we talk about it but it's not confirmed,
then it's fair game, right for me to move on
to something to do something else.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Right, So you're saying you asked them on a Thursday, Yeah,
and then the next Saturday, so like a whole week
or like that same time. Okay, I'm gonna say it's
the same Saturday.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
I think. Okay, if you're like Robin, you want to
go to dinner on.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Saturdayday and you text me on Thursday and I never
said yes then and then Saturday comes and I'm like,
all right, what time we meeting for dinner?

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Huh? I think you got to know your friend because
you would never do that. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
I feel like that's a communication thing.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
I feel like we're having communication issue rights, and I
feel like you have to get the confirmation from that person.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah, to say sooner rather than later.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Yeah, like okay, are we on for dinner or are
we not? Or where were meeting? So is it shady
though to make other plans for that day? Oh? So
so if you invited me and I didn't respond and
then on Saturday I'm like, where are we going?

Speaker 2 (05:47):
And I'm like, oh, I'm already going out with so
and so. Yeah, you'd be like what.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Okay, it's shady if you don't follow up with that
person and say, hey, I didn't hear back from you
regarding dinner, so I made these other plans or I
need to confirm before I make these other plans. So
I think this is a communication issue.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Yeah, totally.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
And whoever invited the person and didn't hear back should
have followed, should follow up with that friend and say,
you know, are we confirmed or I'm about to make
other plans?

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Yeah, blah blah blah. Totally go from there.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Okay, yeah, no, And you gotta know your friend right, yes,
because you're gonna wait till the last minute before you confirmed,
and you might not you don't even confirm and still
not come.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Right, or I might not confirm and I might just
show up. Yes, you've done that. That was recently. That
was recently because I was shocked.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
I was like, Robin's coming, Oh my gosh, howdelujah. Usually, Okay,
if it's like a one on one thing, then like
I'm gonna confirm. But if it's like a group thing,
I might literally be like I don't know, y'all, I'll
get there if I can.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Yes. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
But but then and I think I think you like
that because it takes pressure off of you.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
Yeah. Is that true?

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:00):
I kinda yeah, because it's like you don't sometimes if
I and I know this for myself, if I know
if something is confirmed, I know it's coming, it's kind
of like a right, But if that day comes and
I don't have any plans, it's like I want.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
To do it exactly, you just had to do it? Yeah, yeah, yeah, right, okay.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Especially if I'm like working a lot, and it's just like,
you know, what's so funny.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
I met this guy recently and he.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
I said something something I'm going to be working, and
he was like, okay, I need to ask you, like what.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Do you what's your work?

Speaker 1 (07:34):
But I was like, he's like, are you are you
talking about like when you're filming your show?

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Is that work? I said, yeah, we're we needed to
pay check. That's my work, that's work. But he had
never heard that term.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Right right, because it's like whoa instead of saying like film, yes,
you know, by the way, film that day, not work,
by the way. I know it's definitely work, Yes, definitely work.
We're not supposed to get into all this. I should
have I should have talked about this on the other
on the other podcast.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
But anyway, never too late, Never too late. So this
was a blind first date that I went on. How okay?
So was there a mutual friend?

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Yes, okay, but it was a mutual It was a
friend of a friend, so it was a mutual guy
okay knows his.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Good guy friend. Okay, So the good guy friend is married, okay.
And then he said, oh, my boy, I think would
be great for her blah blah blah. Okay.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
So because normally I don't go I won't go on
a date unless you're vetted.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Yeah. Yeah, so the vetting was like one person off.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Yeah okay, but I said, okay, okay, all right. So
the whole point is we went to dinner and he said, hey,
like after dinner, you gotta like promise me, like there's
something that I want us to do.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
And I was like, what do you mean?

Speaker 3 (08:52):
And he said someplace I want to take you and
I was like, where is it? He said he said
something about I mean he needed forty minutes. I'm like,
were going on a forty minute car ride. He was like, no, Jazelle,
I don't eve want to beat a car with you
for forty minutes. He's like, he just ten minutes away.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
And I said, okay, okay, okay, cool, because I don't
want to be in a car with you either. I
like you. So we're get in a car and we
drive to a private airstrip. Oh, and the surprise was
we did a helicopter ride of the We were.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
In Atlanta, Atlanta, and it was like beyond beautiful because
it was it was dark, so all.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
The buildings are lit up.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
And to see the buildings from because you're not airplane high,
you're like right above them.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
It was fantastic. Oh wow, okay, I saw you post
something in that in a helicopter.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Yeah. Yeah. And that was a date. That was the
first day where we going from here. You are doing
helicopter rides. First date, blind day. That's a hell of
a blind day. I said, I said, play you you
want me to like you?

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Right?

Speaker 1 (09:55):
He was like, well, you know, I mean, I don't know.
He just he was happy, Okay, Yeah, oh that's fine.
That's a that's a nice surprise. That means he definitely
gets a date number two.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Yes, okay, good, Yes he does. Okay, that was nice.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
Yes, And I feel like if we're gonna only improve
on these dates, there are gonna be some magical dates.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Yeah. So you're right, I'll keep you off. My gosh,
she set the bar. He set the bar very high.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Hi.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Yeah, oh my gosh. So good luck to him. Oh
my god. Okay, all right, so this is from Pamela.

Speaker 3 (10:52):

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Okay, the name? The last name was fine? Okaya, right now,

Pleasure mm hm.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Anyway, I am catching up on old episodes as I
paused them due to life being overwhelming while pregnant with
a toddler. Oh, we understand understand that, totally understand. I
was listening to episode seventy and you guys started to
talk about an alleged fake news story about p Diddy
dating young Miami, and Giselle said, what do I gotta

(11:41):
do to date Sean Puffy Combs?

Speaker 2 (11:43):
Oh my god?

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Did I say that? Oh my gosh, listening to it
was was was proper and a and a oop moment
because she was laughing her ass off. Okay, as I
as I am, because I can't believe I said that.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
Oh yeah, because he bought her a car. Oh yeah,
remember he bought that Maybop. Yeah, And I was like,
what am I going to do today? Okay? Am I
shady for bringing this up?

Speaker 3 (12:09):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (12:09):
You are, because like, look at where we've gone, and
I don't want baby oil on me.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
And it's so muchy because so much has happened since
he bought her that may back so so recently. I
saw an interview that Evelyn did with the Yes and
she said she would date him well before of course,
of course all of that, of course before all of
the baby oil of it.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
Oh wait, can we go ahead?

Speaker 3 (12:35):
I wanted to talk about Evelyn's list, Yes, okay, Well
we'll finish this first, okay. Also as you've recently spoken
about people using the name Giselle.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
Naming their oh never and their patchures out. I actually
considered both both your names for my second born, but
my husband vetoed it. Sorry, I thought I was being reasonable.

be beautiful child named Robin with a why?

Speaker 2 (13:28):

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Or you could have given her both of our names. Yes,
oh that would have been cute. So Robin Giselle or
Robin Robin.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Oh okay, I like that. Okay, that's what I was
gonna vote for.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
Okay, I know, Okay, husband stopped being shady, I mean anyway, Okay,
So Evelyn did this episode, I mean, did this interview.

Speaker 2 (13:51):

she said she would shoot at her shot with him. Yes,
she go to Toronto.

Speaker 2 (14:28):

have about a couple of kids. They forgot about that.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
But but he okay, let me say this about Nas.
When I see him, I don't see sexy. I don't
see swag. I don't see anything that's like that. I
get turned on about.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
I could see swag. You see I see swag. I don't.
I'm not attracted to him, but I could.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
I could see swag for somebody, because he's like a
you know, he's got She's.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
From New York. Remember that. It could be like the
New York thing New York. She also let's see who
else was it that Nas was her person?

Speaker 3 (15:31):
Then she Alan Iverson. She said, if he wasn't married, yes,
Alan Iverson. It was just like a whole bunch. The
only one that she said no to was like Big
Meach or something and Little Meach. Okay, all the Meaches
got gotta know, dang.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
Who else does she say yes? She just kept saying yep,
she said yes everybody. She said yes to everybody. So
I'm like, oh, I wonder, now how many of them
are like in her d ms. That's a good question,
I think. But out of all the guys, I felt
like Nas might be good. Yeah that'd be cute. Yeah,
Noads might be good for her. Yeah that'd be cute.
