welcome to Roto Experts in the Morning, live right here
on the Grid. Get on the grid right here at
sports grid dot com. We're broadcasting live from the FanDuel

(00:47):
Sports Book right here in the Metal Lands, the beautiful
Metal Lands. I'm just gonna see the battle of futility
today between the Jets and the Giants. I know, I know,
you can barely contain yourself, but we've got a lot
of get to today here on the program. As always,
you can check us out on Zoomo TV channel seven
one nine. We're also on ster now. So we are
moving up in the world. I'm told it's because of

(01:09):
my handsome bald head. We just keep getting all these
streaming services. So you're welcome, America. We're very happy to
have you here. And of course we've got a ton
to get to, as I mentioned earlier, but before we do,
it's not Sunday without Jim Day and of course my
fantasy Tazz, my co host here in the program, Jim
Day is gonna join us right here. Jim, are you

(01:29):
ready for jets giants? Can you contain your excitement? I
just want to see if we break a record for
turnovers today in that game. You know, we could see
Daniel Jones turn it over another five six times, Darnald
Broke turn it over five six times. We could go
for an all out record here. I love it. I

(01:50):
pick up your sarcasm because you're playing it a little
thick there. So let's talk about some good news first
and the headlines and let's get at it. Because Patrick
Mahomes is back today, and uh, that's a good thing
for Tyreek Hill owners and Travis Kelsey owners. That that that
more to define job. But let's be honest, it's all
about Patrick Mahomes. He came back on the quicker end

(02:10):
of that window. So that's a very very good thing
on the downside of the quarterback scale, Matthew Stafford looking
less and less likely as a game time decision. But
a lot of the reports right now as things are
trickling in or saying that he probably should not play
today in this matchup. So that's a that's a big deal.
And I guess, Jim, let's start there with Stafford, because
we all know Mahomes is a positive. You just get

(02:30):
him back in your lineup. But Matt Stafford, now, if
he's not playing in this one today against the Bears,
what does that do to the value of Kenny Golladay
to Marvin Jones? Are we pulling these guys out of
lineups or we maybe even considering put j. D. McKissick
into a lineup because maybe a little bit more run
heavy with a backup quarterback situation. Yeah, that's a tough one.

(02:53):
You know, I'm not really looking forward to if Stafford's
not in. I'm not really a big fan of Jeff
friscoll and I really think the entire offense takes a
major hit if Stafford doesn't play. And you hate those,
you know, game time decision calls. The only good thing
is that it's at least a one PM starts, so
we'll know right away. By at the latest we'll have

(03:16):
the info on whether or not Stafford is playing, So
you know, at least that's good bona fide. At least
it's not a Monday night game or even a Sunday
night game having to make that decision, so that that's
at least the positive side of it. But if he
doesn't play, I think it takes down the entire offense
because the defense is just gonna stack the box against
the running game and just take it all away, all right,

(03:39):
And speaking of Monday Night to George Kittle is doubtful
now for this one. It's not really surprising considering how
he looked in the last contest. So I guess the
question is now, who is the beneficiary of George Kittle
being out of this lineup? Is it more Manuel Sanders,
Is it maybe some more opportunities at the very least
for Deebo Samuel or are we talking a whole strong,

(04:02):
healthier dose of Tevin Coleman and Matt Breedon now because
Kittle is gonna be out of this contest, well, we'll
definitely see more running again. Get back to what they
do best and what they want to do best, but
there will be more opportunities. I think for Deebo Samuel
as well, I think we see him get a little
bit more involved. Definitely takes some of those targets there. Uh,

(04:24):
it's just a really tough situation when you lose your
best receiver. And don't get me wrong, I mean Sandrews
is good, but Kittle is still their best receiver. When
you lose your best receiver, it's really hard to always
see it work out the way you wanted to work out.
So you know, it's it's a tough situation. But I
think Samuel is the one that gets the biggest rise

(04:46):
out of the week. If Kittle does sit alright, well,
Levian Bell is going to be playing. He's not sitting today.
It's against the Giants as we mentioned earlier, and of
course Levian Bell playing, you gotta get him active. I'm
a little curious too, because is Chris Herndon's gonna play
in this game? Finally everyone's waiting and waiting for Herndon.
Ryan Griffin. The last couple of weeks has been a
useful tight end. Now I know a lot of Kiddle

(05:08):
owners probably searching around the waiver wire. If Griffin or
Herndon is out there, is that a guy you would
pick up and stream or do you fade away from
both of them in favor of maybe a Johnny Smith
or somebody else based on the fact you really just
don't know who's going to be the guy at tight
end for the Jets this week. Well, that is the problem.
I mean, Griffin has been playing well, with Herndon of

(05:30):
course being out to go out again. But when Donald
come back, Griffin has been playing pretty well. So I
think they cut into both uh each other's fantasy value
this week, and that's gonna hurt. How much did they
trust turned in Uh? You know, if there's still not
a with him, then they're probably going to get both
of these guys involved, and that scares me. But even

(05:50):
with john and Smith, was starting to see Foster get
a little bit more involved there as well, So you
have the same kind of problem there with those guys.
I mean, if it's me, I'm going out and looking
at one of the Indianapolis tight ends who have really
done nothing this year. But in this game, with both
Paris Campbell and Hilton out, I think these guys are

(06:11):
gonna be involved. I'd probably take a shot on Ibron
a little bit more just because of the touchdown upside
over Doyle. But I think both of these guys could
be viable this week. Yeah, I agree with you. I
think there's definitely some upside there. And Sam Donald has
not been good and we can all agree on that.
Sam Donald has been a disappointment since he came back
basically after that Dallas game. The question is now at home. Theoretically,

(06:36):
now we'll see how many Jets fans versus Giant fans
there are. They're all starting to come into the building
here now are going to be in that building and
how that's gonna go. But certainly this is an important game,
not only for Sam Donald but also for Adam Gaze
because the uh, the vultures are swirling here and whether
or not he'll be able to maintain to this job
as fairly as Monday potentially too. Also some more things

(06:57):
to get to here. Jacobe Purcett's canna be out for
this one. That means Brian Hoyer is going to be
uh suiting up again, and Hoyer was pretty good last week.
So look, if you're a pro set owner and the
waiver wires Baron or if you're a super Flex owner there,
I think Hoyer is a perfectly good stream you can
roll out there. You have three touchdowns last week, so
not a problem there. Alvin Camara also is going to
be back, and there's a lot of rumors he's gonna

(07:18):
be sharing that workload now with Latavius Murray kind of
what we were used to in the past with Latavias Murray.
And excuse me with Melvin Ingram, Melvin Ingram, wrong Ingram.
I get my Ingram's cross sometimes mark Ingram. Excuse me,
so mark Ingram roll now basically going over to Latavius
Murray in a bigger format because look, well Tavias Murray
has been very very solid. Saints are were in football games,

(07:40):
and you stick with what's winning in the NFL, and
that's what's winning right now. Matt Ryan is back. Hooray
for Atlanta Falcons owners and all of the people who
uh have any Devonte Freeman, Calvin Ridley, Julio Jones, Hooper shares.
That's also another positive. A J. Green another setback for him.
So he is gonna be done. Uh, not that you
should expect it too much any way. Connor's out for

(08:01):
this one. As you know already. But Edmonds, Edmonds, real quick,
I only got thirty seconds here. Do you think Edmunds
is another viable guy here even though Samuel was still
in that backfield for the Steelers. Uh no, uh no,
you can't get fantasy analysis like that. Just don't really

(08:22):
want Yeah no, I'm not really buying into it. I'm
gonna kind of stay away. I don't really think he
brings enough to the table. All right, couple of more
quick notes to get to Adam feeling obviously out for
this contest as well on Sunday night, and Lamar Jackson,
who was dealing with an illness all week. He is

(08:44):
going to play. So that's a good thing. That great
great Sunday night. Oh we got breaking news. We're gonna
tease on the break. Will be right back with Jim Dave,
breaking news. We got Davis Maddock joining us on the program.
So many things to talk about. So if you're on

getting on it right now, more rotal experts in the

(09:35):

of course the FANDUL Sports Book. We're here onto Motiv,
We're here on stir and of course live on YouTube
streaming on sports grid dot com too, so we're everywhere
you can possibly imagine. As as Jim was so excited
to report their rise, we were going to break Matthew Stafford,

(09:56):
breaking news is out for this contest, so fire up
those Jeff driscoll shares. Uh, I'm not gonna go over
old news. But in case you missed the first segment here,
basically we said, yeah, you can't love this, it's not
a great scenario here, but if you have an opportunity
there to move the Bears up and the sort of
pix League scenario, I think you might want to do that. Anyway,
this week they were looking good no matter what. But

(10:17):
I still say JD. Mkissick is gonna get a ton
of work now. Because of that, They're gonna lean a
little heavier on the running backs, even though the running
backs aren't great, the Bears are given up a ton
of fantasy points of running backs lately, So if you're
desperate you're looking for a streamer, Jade McKissick might be
that guy for you in this one. But you certainly
want to downgrade Kenny Golladay, you want to down grade
Jones and also take that into account. If you have

(10:38):
to start them, maybe you look for another boom kind
of play as a third wide receiver as a flex
this week. So let's get after some of the games here,
Jim Day with the high totals that have fantasy implications
that we want to break down. Let's start with the
Bucks and the cards. Now. I want to talk about
the cardinal side of this one first, because I think
the Buck side's pretty easy. Obviously, we're you know, we're
in love with like and everybody is right now. Of course,

(11:01):
Chris Godwin always good. In fact, I think this is
a bounce back game for Chris god With. Not that
Godwin has been bad, he just hasn't been quite as
good as Mike Evans the last couple of weeks. After
Godwin basically was being the guy for the first five
weeks of the season. So on the cardinal side of
this one, I know everybody loves Kirk this week, and
everybody sees that Tampa Bay defense and we know he
could throw the football against them. But when you look

(11:23):
at the game log of Kirk, I find the floor
very disappointing. Are you concerned that Christian Kirk this week
is actually a little bit more of a liability than
people realize, and maybe that productivity is just not a lock? Jim,
and I don't think that you could say anything that's
locked in this passing game for Arizona at this point. Um,

(11:44):
you know, Fits has has trailed off to nothing. Kirk
is so up and down it's hard to say. I mean,
you know, nice matchup, should be able to do something here,
either one of these guys, But man, I'm having a
hard time saying I trust either one. We are talking
about of course, the Bucks third second ranked UH defense
against wide receivers, so they are heard the worst in

(12:05):
the league. So both of these guys should feast, but man,
I just don't. I don't feel comfortable with it. I mean, look,
if I got Kirk, I'm starting him Fits and I
want to start him. Everybody knows I love fits, but
it's not get them enough opportunity. Yeah, that's just difficult

(12:29):
to roll out fits right now. I'm with you. I
I love Larry faild he said, hall of fame talent,
but if you're not getting targets, and look, maybe that'll
self correct itself. But right now we're about trying to
put our best foot forward with the information we have.
The information we have is Larry Fitzgerald is an afterthought,
especially now with David Johnson back in there. I think
you see a lot of DJ in the slot coming
at at this Bucks defense. Also coming off that injury.

(12:51):
You want to kind of get him out there, especially
now you have Kenyan Drake, so there's gonna be opportunities
to get DJ, who's healthy back on the field, on
the field at the same time as Drake. And the
way you do that is not necessarily two back set.
The way you do that is you're putting him out
there in the slot and letting DJ kind of be
a pass catcher for today. And I think that's the
way you attack Tampa. All right. One more thing of
note to Ronald Jones starting to trend in the better

(13:12):
direction to coming up a solid game last week, I
think he's got RB two upside this week, certainly flex
appeal as well, touchdown upside absolutely in this one. So
Ronald Jones is a guy you probably want to be starting. Also,
let's move on to Falcon Say it's so many points,
Oh my goodness, Jim Day, so many points in this one,
and I'm excited for it. I think there's gonna be
a nice Calvin Ridley day. Marshawn Lattimore has been brilliant,

(13:35):
so we all know Julio is great, but he's gonna
have his hands full today. Hooper is always a start,
no doubt about that. Calvin Ridley hit and missed sometimes,
but I love Ridley in this contest to new Are
you as excited today about Ridley as I am? Oh?
I yeah. I definitely think Ridley's back and play. And
you know, the one good thing about Ridley, like you said,

(13:56):
his production has been up and down, but he's had
at least six targets in every game but one, and
that's a good sign. If the targets are there, the
games will come. And I think with Ryan back this week,
and you know, them still trying to prove something even
though the season is pretty much lost. I think he's
gonna throw the ball a ton in this game, and
like you said, we could have a very high scoring affair,

(14:17):
and in that case, you want every piece of it
you can have. And really, to me, is definitely a
guy I'm getting in my lineups however I can. Yeah,
I'm with you, man. And on the other side of
this game, look the Saints, you already know, you know
what's going on here, see me, the Michael Thomas show
is certainly a guy with the highest floor and maybe
one of the highest ceilings in all of the NFL

(14:38):
in terms of fantasy. So you're gonna love that matchup
today against the Falcons. They can't tackle anybody can Marris
back healthy, So you're thrown back in the lineup. I
don't care what the split is with him and Murray.
You're throwing him back in obviously, and you could even
desperate desperate measures. Look at a stream of wide receiver.
I think Ted Gins even in playing this one too.
Moving on Bills and Browns, now, I want to talk

(14:58):
about this next guy, because Devin Singletary had himself a
day last week. Now, I've been a very big Devon
Singletary guy all year Unfortunately, I've had to wait and
wait and wait because of injury for him to get
right and get the workload. Last week he got both.
So to me, I think it's now the second half
of Devin Singletary, and it's gonna basically follow up on

(15:19):
last weekend. So Jim Day, are you with me? Devin Singletary,
big day for him against the Browns? Yes or no?
Oh yeah, I'm all in on Devin's Singletary too. I
have been all year, even in preseason. I really liked
this kid. I thought he would take over earlier, but
of course the injury came into play and and that
sat him down. But we've seen over the last couple

(15:40):
of weeks. Two weeks ago it was mostly game script,
you know, playing from behind. He needed to pass catching back.
Last week, I thought we might see more Frank Bore
because the game script would weren't more running, and we didn't.
We saw all of Singletary, and that's a great sign.
So I think that trend continues. I think Singletary from
here on out is pretty much a start every week

(16:01):
for me and basily obviously has uh flex appeal to
In the full point PPR, you've got him in there,
John Brown, you're rolling out to against the Browns, But
another running back who's making his return is Kareem Hunt today.
So I'm gonna ask you this. They are all kinds
of rumors rolling it out there that he's gonna have
awesome play specifically for him. It would certainly make sense.

(16:23):
I think this is a match up here because that
secondary and Buffalo is so good that there's a good chance, Jim,
you want to attack them with the run game and
that means a lot of Chub but also a little
bit of Hunt as well. So are you starting Kareem
Hunt as a flex play this week? I say yes?
What say you? Well, we love Chump and you know

(16:44):
everybody loves Hup. The kid is running great. The problem
is he they don't use him as a pass catcher much,
and that's definitely we're somewhere where Hunt can shine. So
I think they really get Hunt involved in the passing game.
I wouldn't be surprised to see if him get you know,
tend to twelve touches in this one, most of them
being past receptions, so I think because of that PPR leagues,

(17:05):
he definitely becomes viable. You know, the one thing here is,
you know everybody's always talking about, oh, he's been out
for so long. You know he could be in shape,
but maybe not game shape. The only difference is that
he's been practicing with the team for the last couple
of weeks. So right now I have to feel that
he's probably in game shape too. He's taking the hits,
he's gotten back up. Those are all big steps to

(17:27):
getting back on the field, and I think he'll be
ready for this one. And you know, Cleveland at this
point would be stupid not to use both backs. Both
are explosive. That's exactly the same point that I made
on the last show and the DFS show with Mike
Blewet and myself that's right before this at Road Experts
in the morning, which is he's been practicing. So if
he's been practicing, it's not like he's coming in out

(17:47):
of nowhere off the street. He's been there in the
last couple of weeks, Like you said, taking the hits,
getting ready, So I would expect him be ready and
rocking here real quick. Seahawks four and irons would kindle out,
are we talking about basically a higher workload? Now of
the running backs will get a breedom, maybe getting an
expanded role obviously Tevin Coleman in the passing game too.

(18:08):
Oh absolutely, I think both of those guys are gonna
be main participants in this game. San Francisco goes back
to doing what they love to do when that's running
the ball, uh and just a little bit over the
top with Sanders, and then a couple of you know,
extra plays for Samuel as well. I think Samuel to
me is a nice uh you know, flex play. I
think he's a guy who could just do a little

(18:29):
bit of everything in this game. So I definitely like
Samuel's as you know what the pack flex. Yeah, I'm
with you. I agree. I think Debot, especially this week
with all the buys, this is actually a harder week
to find running back replacement than his wide receiver. But still,
I think he definitely is in play now, especially with
Kiddle out and Debos showing you a little bit too.

(18:52):
I think there's a lot of speed on the field
now with Haman Sanders at the same time, that should
be fun to watch. Also, the night games gonna be
fun to watch tonight. You got the Cowboys at home,
it's the Vikings. A lot of good football to get to.
And we've got a great guest coming up because Mr
Roto expert himself, Davis Matt is gonna join us on
the program we come back, So stick around. We've got
a ton of football to talk about, a ton of questions,

(19:12):
a ton of starts, and it's a ton of everything.

(20:51):
our next guest, you know from well from Rhodo Experts
dot com. He's the one, the only Davis Maddock, and
I guess the only question is how or no hat
today for Davis Maddock. Let's find out right now. Davis,
welcome to the program. You know, it's just it's one
of those mornings. I think we had to go with
a hat this morning where we're in week ten, we're

(21:13):
in the weeds here with with fantasy football, so you know,
we we had to go with the hat. It's all right, Davis. Look,
all I know is that if I had hair like you,
I would never wear hats. Just saying that, putting that
out there for everybody. You just gotta let that fly,
even if it's a Sunday morning, and if it's not
all done anyway, Kareem Hunt is back. Jim and I

(21:35):
were just discussing that. I want to get your take
on this too. Um. We talked about how he's been practicing.
We talked about how they're gonna have plays specifically for him,
but also from a game flow perspective, one would imagine
you attack the Buffalo Bills with the run game because
that secondary is very good and that means Kareem Hunt
catching the ball out of the backfield. It means run
the ball with Nick Chubble lots. So is there enough
Kareem Hunt in this game for you to start him

(21:56):
as a flex And do you like him as much
as say, Jim al Williams type guy this week on Sunday.
There's not enough dream Hunt for me there there There's
not gonna be enough in this game for me to
start him as a flex. You know, I think a
best case, kind of optimistic scenario for him is going
to be something like five carries and three targets. You know,

(22:17):
if if he saw more than ten, you know, total
interactions in this game, I would be pretty surprised. I
do think though, that he definitely does limit the ceiling
for Nick Chubb in this game, which is, you know,
just not really the direction that we we wanted Chubb
season to be heading in. All right, let's move on here.

(22:37):
Last week we got Brandon Allen with a pretty good
start here at quarterback, which nobody was really looking, uh
like that could happen, and it did. And now this
week we got another newbie. We got Ryan Finley making
his his first start as a Cincinnati Bengal. He gets
the Ravens now Davis. Obviously, the Ravens look fantastic. Maybe
there's a little bit of a letdown, but still I

(22:58):
don't think it's enough of a letdown to let the
Bengals basically get a win here in this football game.
So let's talk about our expectations for Ryan Finley just
for the other pieces. No, A. J. Green, but he
got Mixing, you got Tyler Boyd, he got Ericson, you
got autent taps. So take me through, in your opinion,
are any of these guys startable or are we downgrading
I mean, obviously mixing you're probably gonna start anyway, But

(23:19):
are we downgrading Tyler Boyd to that fringe starting area
because of Finley or are you optimistic maybe that he
has a little bit more upside than we realize. I
think the guy I would actually start would be Tyler Boyd.
I think Boyd is the guy who's gonna benefit from
having Ryan Finley under center, because Ryan Finley has just
a total pop gun arm. He had one of the

(23:40):
lowest velocities throwing the football at the NFL combine of
the last decade, and when you watch him play, you
can kind of see how we compensates for that by
just making a lot of short, you know, very accurate throws,
not really pushing the ball down the field. So I
think Boyd could definitely be, you know, a twelve target
guy and catch eight of those passes, whereas I think

(24:00):
Joe Mixon, you know, if you had any kind of
alternative for Joe Mixon, I think that you could feel
comfortable benching him right now. He's not really involved in
the passing game. He and Giovanni Bernard have the same
amount of targets this season, the team is really just
using Alex Ericksson, you know, for those short outlet passes,
and then Boyd, you know, kind of for the more
intermediate stuff. So for me, the whole offense does take

(24:22):
a down grade because I don't think Ryan Finnham is
very good, But you know, I do think it could
be a slight upgrade for just Tyler Boyd. All Right, Jim.
On the other side of this game, obviously, Andrews was
a little disappointing last week. My take on that is,
despite the snap count was down, it was really just
game plan. The new of the Patriots love to do
one thing and let's take away your best weapon. And

(24:43):
I think we can all agree Mark Andrews was their
best weapon in the passing game, and they made Lamar
Jackson in the run game beat them, and they did.
I don't worry at all about Mark Andrews or the
fact that he was utilizing the other tight ends. Are
you in agreement with me, Jim that you just kind
of shrug that game off as a one off and
not really worried too much about Mark Andrews going forward.

(25:05):
I'm hoping that that's correct. But the fact of the
matter is they do have three other tight ends that
they keep trying to get involved. Hayden Hurst is seeing
more and more playing time boils out there. You know,
it's just a tough situation. I do agree. I mean,
New England, you figure they're gonna take them out anyway,
why not branch it out? Uh, The schedule gets a

(25:25):
little better the next couple of weeks. Cincinnati today, used
in next week, Rams after that. So these are guys
that could be definitely thrown on, and Andrews should have
a better opportunity in these few games. But I definitely
am worried that they do have a plethora of tight
ends that they can use at their disposal. Nice vote,
Cab there with the plethora. Well done, Jim Day, Well done, sir.

(25:47):
All right now, Brandon Cooks is gonna be out for
this one against the Steelers today for the Rams. So
we all know, golf on the road not quite the
same golf that we've gotten at home statistically speaking. And
I guess the question is this what has been a
little underwhelming. So I'll start with you on this one, Jim,
do you think that Josh Reynolds is a streamer? This week,
because when Cooks was out last week, he did see

(26:08):
a fair amount of targets, did convert one for a touchdown.
Wasn't super efficient in terms of catching all of them,
but still the volume was there. If you are the Steelers,
you're looking at stopping Cooper Cup. Obviously, you stop Cooper Cup,
you make Todd Gurley beacher because Todd Gurley has not
been Todd Gurley of old. And does that open up
a little bit of opportunity at the very least for
Josh Reynolds. Jim, let's start with you and then we'll

(26:28):
hit Davis with the same question. Sure, it gives him
an opportunity. Look, Reynolds has stepped up whenever they needed hunt.
He did pretty well last year when he had the opportunity.
I think the same happens this year. Uh. The problem
is he becomes really pretty much touchdown dependent. He's not
gonna get enough targets share that you know you can

(26:50):
count on him just for his receptions and yardage. The
good thing is, though, that they do like him in
the red zone and he gets opportunities, so you know,
it's not always gonna work each and every week. But
I think he's a good opportunity this week. All right, Davis,
on the same end there for you. Uh, let's think
about some of the guys that might be kind of
in that same vein as Reynolds this week. Do you

(27:12):
feel comfortable starting Reynolds Let's say, uh, I don't know,
trying to go against some of the guys here on
that lower end of the totem pole, would you say him?
And uh, Sammy Watkins, who hasn't done much, would you
start Josh Reynolds over him? Well? I like walking more,
but Reynolds is a guy that I do actually like.
He like, as Jim has mentioned, really whenever the team

(27:33):
has needed him, he has came in and he's been productive.
You know, he averages about four and a half catches
a game when he's a starting wide receiver, about fifty
receiving yards per game. But more importantly, he scored point
six two touchdowns per game when he has been in
the starting lineup for the Rams. So you know, there
is just kind of something about him or the way
that they use him that makes him, you know, kind
of more likely to be targeted in the red zone.

(27:54):
And I guess if you think about you know, the
other personel he's lining up with out there, Robert Woods,
Jerald Everett, Cooper Cup. You know, they're none of those
guys are what you would call just a pure touchdown score.
You know. Really that's Ben Todd Gurley's roll in that offense.
So now that they're throwing more, I actually think that
you can you can project Reynolds for a pretty decent
game here, you know, without without stretching any facts too far. Davis,

(28:19):
A J. Brown or Josh Reynolds. I think you gotta
go a J. Brown there. He really is just gonna
be targeted so heavily in this game without Corey Davis
that you know, the team is gonna just be trailing
for the entire game. I definitely think that we are
going a J. Brown there. All right, let's move on
here to the New Orleans Saints. Obviously, the hot topic

(28:41):
is what happens now, uh, now that Alvin Camara is back.
Are we going back to what we saw a couple
of years ago where Camaron Ingram are great and everybody
eats or is this a weird new scenario that we're in.
Lottavias Murray has been excellent, so Fantasy Roundtable Time let's
start with you, Davis. Do you think Lottavias Murray's a
guy you continuously throw out there in the lineup because
he's basically carved out a role for himself now in

(29:03):
this offense, regardless of Alvin Kamara's health, and you feel
good about starting both of them or are you a
little worried on the downside that now that things are
spread out, it's hard for one guy to be a
superstar in your lineup. I would start him this week.
I would start Latavia's Murray this week. And I don't
know if he's really ranked that way by a lot
of people around the fantasy industry, but they are huge

(29:26):
home favorites against this bad Atlanta team that's playing a
hobbled Matt Ryan. So I think you can definitely start
in this week where the questions with Latavias Murray are
gonna start coming in, are gonna be when the Saints
get in more competitive games. You know, this is Alvin
Kamara's first game back from the ankle injury. I definitely
think there is a scenario where Lottavius might even get
more touches this week than Alvin Kamara. So for me,

(29:49):
Lottavia's easy start this week, but we're gonna have to
think about it in the weeks ahead. All right, Jim Day,
let's go to you here. Russell Wilson against San Francisco
forty niner defense, Wilson having an m V caliber season.
How worried about that defense are you? When it comes
to Russell Russell Wilson ownership in fantasy leagues and the
peripheral pieces of that offense, whether it be Carson Metcalf Lockett,

(30:11):
how concerned are you? I know you're probably rolling them
out there anyway, But what's your panic level, if any
at all, Jim Day, about Wilson and the forty nine
ers this Monday night? Uh No, I really don't have
a panic level when it comes to Russell Wilson. Look,
every time it's a big game, it's a must win game.
You can expect Russell Wilson to step up. I don't

(30:33):
care what the defense is. The kid that just plays
on an exceptional level in big games, Uh, in games
that have this much significance for him and his team. Uh.
The running backs, that's a different story. That's a that's
a a much tougher place to go for those guys.
I think it's gonna end up. You know, they're gonna

(30:53):
try to establish the run. They're gonna keep doing that.
And if it just fails in San Francisco, gett a league.
That's when you're gonna put the ball in Russell Wilson's
hands and he's gonna come storming back. Uh lock. It's
not a but he's gonna play. I think, you know,
I do. I have downgraded the running backs a little bit,
but I have definitely not downgraded Russell Wilson a lot.

(31:16):
I haven't been number eight for the week. All Right,

Joe Piezappia and Jim Day the fantasy task taking you
through Week ten in the NFL. Or kind of over
that hump, We're into the We're into the stretch run here,
we started to make a run at your fantasy playoffs,
so it's time to get those people in your lineups,

(33:06):
are out of your lineups that need not be there
and make sure that we get it right. That's what's
most important. So Jim, let's start with the quarterbacks. Now,
Stafford obviously out, so so much for that discussion, but
let's talk about replacements for Stafford in two quarterback league.
If Hawyer's out there, are you going with the Howyer
and you feel confident about him which you saw last
week and the matchup against the Dolphins? I am Are

(33:28):
you confident in Brian Ware? Oh? Absolutely? Uh. He did
lose another piece with Parris Campbell being out too, but yeah,
it's against Miami. Miami's twenty in the league against opposing quarterbacks,
so I think Hawyer is good to go. I haven't
been nineteen this week, so I wouldn't definitely be out
there in a one quarterback league, but like you said,

(33:50):
in a two quarterback or super flexed, absolutely good him
out there. All right, let's move on here, Daniel Jones.
Here we go, match up between Daniel Jones and Sam Donald.
Who would you rather Sam Donald? This week? Against the
Giants defense or Daniel Jones, who runs the football a
little bit in the Giants offense that's shown up a

(34:10):
little bit of times. So here's my question. Pick one
Donald or Daniel Jones. Who would you start in your
fantasy lineup. As crazy as this sounds, I actually have
Donald above Jones this week. Look, the Jets are grown men.
They've been reading all this press all week as well
about how bad they are. This team is the worst

(34:32):
in the league. You know they've been reading all of
that too. This is a battle for the meadowlands. Now.
I do think the Giants end up winning, but I
could definitely see Donald having a better game, and I
have him higher than Jones this week. You know, the
Giants secondary is just bad, just bad. And I think
Robby Anderson is in for a good week. I think

(34:52):
Prouder is in for a good week. So I think,
you know, Donald is definitely in for a decent week.
He may turn the ball over a few times, as
we mentioned earlier, could be one of those games where
they go for the turnover record. But you know, the
Jets I think have a you know, this is a
they're trying to save face in New York against the Giants.
I think they put up a better effort. All right.

(35:15):
I will take the Daniel Jones side and the wheels
of Danny Dimes running all over the place. We'll see
how that works out. I know the Jets have been
reading the breast clippings, but I'm worried the press clippings
are true. That's where I'm a little concerned. So here's
another either or would you rather Baker Mayfield against the
Bills or would you rather Kyle Allen against the Packers?

(35:36):
So Kyle Allen or Baker Mayfield? Who would you start
this week? Oh? Kyle Allen? Um, you know Baker Mayfield
has been playing terrible and then to go against the
Bills this week is definitely not a way to get better.
So yeah, I can't like that matchup at all. As
a matter of fact, I have Baker Mayfield at this week.

(35:59):
I have outside a two quarterback start Lee. That's how
badly I feel about him. Don't love Kyle Allen, never have.
He's not gonna put up huge numbers. It's just the
fact that I think the Bills are gonna have Baker
Mayfield running for his life, running scared, and he's not.
You know Donald's not gonna be the only one seeing
ghosts when this game is over. It's amazing how far

(36:23):
the stock of Baker Mayfield has fallen since the beginning
of the season. Just unbelievable. Here we are, we ten
and Kyle Allen. We're choosing to start over him and
I can't. I can't make any arguments against it. I
just can't. All Right, Ronald Jones seeing an uptick here.
I feel good about starting Ronald Jones today. Jim Day,
do you feel good about Ronald Jones as well? I

(36:43):
haven't bet twenty two for the week, but I kind
of tell you I got the sinking feeling in my
stomach that this is all a ruse. And you know,
Bruce Arians playing us all. You know, he said this
before that Jones was gonna be the guy, and then
the very next week Jones didn't touch the freaking ball. Um.
You know, Look, I think Jones is much better in

(37:04):
Peyton Barber. I think almost anybody, well outside of Kalin Blage,
is better than Peyton Barber. But man, it's just Bruce
Arians just sometimes comes out with these statements and then
doesn't follow through, and it's just a little ball in
the pit of my stomach. That says, man, if you
believe in Jones this week, you're gonna end up paying
for it. But I do have them at twenty two

(37:25):
because the opportunity is there. Yeah, I mean sometimes you
gotta trust the gut instinct certainly. Um, and uh, I'm
gonna start him. I feel better as a flex and
as an RB two. But this is a heavy bye
week for running backs. No for net no guys from
the Broncos, no guys from the Eagles. So you're missing
a lot of guys here in terms of the running
back position potentially. Uh, let's move on to Damian Williams

(37:48):
coming off a good game last week. Now, a lot
of that game was based off one big run. So
would you rather start Damian Williams against the Titans or
Joe Mixing against the Ravens, who have been very good
against the so far this year. Uh? You know, Tennessee
has not been bad, dead middle of the pack against

(38:08):
the run. And like you said, Williams play was off
one big play. But you know what, that doesn't matter. Uh.
At the end of the game, it's the total numbers
that matter, and Williams has that opportunity to do that
more often. I think I like him a little bit more.
I have him higher this week than I have mixing
I have Williams mixing. All right, let's go to another

(38:33):
one here. Kenyan Drake coming off a very good performance
where basically nobody started him unless they were absolutely desperate,
and he ended up having a great game against the
fort Niners. Who would have thought that? So now he's
got DJ back in this lineup. So I don't know
how that affects him, None of us do. Anyone can
pretend that they do. My guesses he'll still see a
fair amount there, and DJ will see a fair amount
as well. It's probably room for both, but Kenyan Drake

(38:56):
or Jamal Williams and this Packer offense who has been
very productive at times in a game that looks like
a get right game for the Packers at the very least.
So Jamal Williams or Kenyan Drake or are they both
startable in your mind? Well? I think they're both startable.
I have Jamal Williams is a running back to when
Drake is a flex. But I am a little worried

(39:18):
about Drake. I heard you mentioned in the earlier show
with Mike that you expect David Johnson to roll out
of the slot often in this game, and I'm totally
with you. I think they get him heavily involved in
the passing aspect of the game. The problem is Tampa
Bay's run defense is very good, and if they do that,
if they put him out in the slot often, then

(39:39):
Drake I don't think, sees a lot of success running
the ball, but hopefully he gets enough passes out of
that backfield to generate a good Fantasy day. But I
think it's gonna be tougher than people expect, even after
the great game he had last week against San Francisco
caught everybody by surprise, well most people by surprise. There's
always gonna be something that said. I called that. I

(40:01):
called that. I knew he was gonna do that against
San Francisco. Nobody knew he was going to be good
against the forty Niners, nobody. Nobody knew that Kenyan Drake
would be good against the forty Niners. Nobody, And if
they said that, they're lying. But the president, because Twitter
is the place where everybody's right. Everybody's right on Twitter

(40:22):
all that time. By the way, you can follow us
on Twitter at Joe ps PS seventeen and that fantasy taz.
If you like this kind of exchange, all right, let's
move on here to the wide receivers. Tyler Boyd. Davis
made the uh the take that in the last segment
that he actually fits pretty well with Finley's lack of
deep threat arm Are you in agreement with that with
Tyler boy Do you think he is a guy that

(40:43):
actually might benefit from the way this offense might run
here going forward under Finley? I do, especially if he
runs most of his uh his routes out of the slot.
I think that slop position is key for him this week.
If they continue to use him basically out of the slot,
then I agree with Davis. I think he can get
plenty of opportunities, and I think that's where it's really

(41:05):
going to come from, how many targets he gets. And
I wouldn't be surprised at all if we see him
with like eight to ten targets in this game, which
should be enough to generate a decent fantasy game. Let's
do some either oars here, Sammy Watkins or Jarvis Landry,
who you've gotten this one sit there, starting or starting
both of them. U um, don't love Landry Again, it's

(41:32):
against Buffalo good defense, but you know, I gotta take
a chance on him because I think they're Buffalo really is,
you know, gonna do everything they can to take ov
j out of the game, and that should free up
some room for Landry. So I think I'm going with
Landry here. All right, let's talk about Robbie Anderson for
a second here. Obviously we had high expectations for Robbie

(41:55):
Anderson that he could be a very useful wide receiver
to high end three. Maybe this year hasn't quite come
to fruition. You mentioned earlier Giants defense, the secondary especially
not very good. So does that mean Robbie Andersons who
played this week? I like Robbie Anderson this week. You know,
it really only takes one or two big plays from
him to really get a good fantasy game out of him,

(42:18):
and against this Giant secondary, I think he could do
just that. As I said before, I think the Jets
are gonna try and turn it around a little bit
this week, and I wouldn't be surprised if Anderson is
a big part of that. Okay, give me your favorite
Tennessee Titan wide receiver because of matchup potentially this week.
Is it Brown? Is it Corey Davis? Is that J Sharp?

(42:39):
I mean, at this point, I think we're all just
kind of lost. So Jim Day, guide us through. Who's
the Titans wide receiver you want the most? Give me
the the Panthers? Why, yeah, I'm sorry, I the Titans
wide receiver you want the most? Yeah, yeah, it's a J. Brown. Look,
I think he's the most talented wide receiver on that team,
including Corey David. I think he's gonna end up shining

(43:01):
by next year. He will. He will be the clear
cut number one wide receiver on his team. He's just
got too much talent. He came out of school. Is
probably the most ready NFL wide receiver. To me, my
only problem when he came out was that he went
to Tennessee. But now you know Tanne Hills throwing a
ball around. I think with Corey Davis out, A J.

(43:22):
Brown is looking at a lot of targets in this game.
I think he has a really good chance of putting
up a nice game. All right, last, but not least
or maybe least the tight ends. Mike Jasecki had a
good game last week. The running back position basically has
disappeared for the Dolphins. Is he a guy you could
stream this week, especially considering you're losing Kiddle and a

(43:42):
couple other guys now to the bye week. Yeah, I
mean with with everybody that's on by absolutely, I think
he becomes into play. Hopefully they continue to get him involved. Look,
he was a high draft pick for them. They wanted
him to get more involved and it just took really time.
Hopefully that's just the beginning of it for him. Indianapolis

(44:03):
Colts have a fine defense, but not so much against
the tight end. Uh. Their twenty two in the league
against that position, and I think they have to make
use of it from Miami this week and get Kazeki
really involved. Alright, uh and that will pretty much do
it for the Stars and Sits. So it's time for
three and out. The three things that we're watching for
this Sunday. I'll go first. I'm looking for a Steelers

(44:25):
upset of the Rams. Just stop buying the Rams. I'm sorry,
I'm just not. I think if they can hold Cooper
Cup and check, Steelers have a real shot to win
this football game. Jim, what do you got your eye
on this weekend. H You know, we've talked about a
little bit before, but it's Russell Wilson. I want to
see what he brings to the table against his San
fran defense and whether or not he has to get

(44:47):
on his legs to do it. Will he be out
there running or is he just gonna be out there slinging.
I do like the fact that Lockett is gonna play
and looks ready to go. So they have a full
complimentary receivers this week, and I think he's gonna do
a great job. But I definitely want to see it
all right. And the third thing on three and out
that I'm looking forward to is the end of the

(45:09):
Adam Gaze era. I guess I do believe the Giants
will win, and if they do, a loss at home
and the Jets Giants game is certainly another feather in
the cap that could potentially sink Adam Gaze as head coach. Now,
I don't think he's gonna be back next year, no
matter what the question is, will he finished the season
or will Greg Williams, for two years in a row,
be an interim head football coach. He might be. It's

(45:31):
very possible. It's not like it didn't work for the Browns,
it could work for the Jets. Maybe he's the guy
they need to yell and scream and get them ready
to play. I don't know, but all I do know
is I can't get much worse right now, and we
are live here, So stick around because Pro football today
with Mike Blewett and all his friends is gonna follow
us right here, take it all the way up to
game time. All the guys that are inactive and active

(45:53):
He's got all those news and notes, so that will
do it for us. And want to thank Davis Maddick
and Jim Day as always for joining me. I'm Pisa, Pia.
We'll see you next time. Kids. Have a great Sunday.

(46:36):
promo code action for a ten percent discount. Missed it
by and that much. Here's what you missed on the
road of Expert Devin Singletary. Big day for him against
the Browns. Yes or no? Oh yeah, I'm all in
on Devin's Singletary two. I have been all year, even
in preseason. I really like this kid. I thought he

(46:58):
would take over earlier, but of course the injury came
into playing and that sat him down. But we've seen
over the last couple of weeks. Two weeks ago it
was mostly game script, you know, playing from behind. They
needed to pass catching back. Last week, I thought we
might see more Frank Bore because the game script would
aren't more running, and we didn't. We saw all of
Singletary and that's a great sign. So I think that

(47:20):
trend continues. I think Singletary from here on out is
pretty much a start every week for me and easily
obviously has uh flex appeal to in the full point PPR.
You've got him in there, John Brown, you're rolling out
to against the Browns. But another running back who was
making his return is Kareem Hunt today. So I'm gonna
ask you this. They're all kinds of rumors rolling them
out there that he's gonna have awesome play specifically for him.

(47:41):
It would certainly make sense. I think this is a
match up here because that secondary and Buffalo is so
good that there's a good chance, Jim, you want to
attack them with the run game and that means a
lot of Chub but also a little bit of Hunt
as well. So are you starting Kareem Hunt as a
flex play this week? I say yes, what say you? Well,
we love Schuff, you know everybody loves Huff. The kid

(48:02):
is running great. The problem is he they don't use
him as a pass catcher much. And that's definitely We're
somewhere where Hunts can shine. So I think they really
get Hunt involved in the passing game. I wouldn't be
surprised to see if him get you know, ten to
twelve touches in this one, most of them being past receptions.
So I think because of that PPR leagues he definitely
becomes viable. You know. The one thing here is, you

(48:24):
know everybody's always talking about, Oh, he's been out for
so long. You know he could be in shape, but
maybe not game shape. The only difference is that he's
been practicing with the team for the last couple of weeks,
so right now I have to feel that he's probably
in game shape too. He's taking the hits, he's gotten
back up. Those are all big steps to getting back
on the field, and I think he'll be ready for

(48:44):
this one. And you know, Cleveland at this point would
be stupid not to use both backs. Both are explosive.
And that's exactly the same point that I made on
the last show and the DFS show with Mike Blewett
and myself that's right before this at Experts in the morning,
which is he's been practicing. So if he's been practicing,
it's not like he's coming in to nowhere off the street.
He's been there in the last couple of weeks, Like
you said, taking the hits, getting ready, So I would
expect to be ready and rocking here a real quick

(49:06):
Seahawks four irons would kittle out. Are we talking about
basically a higher workload? Now for the running backs, we'll
get a breed of maybe getting an expanded role. Obviously
Tevin Coleman the passing game too. Oh absolutely, I think
both of those guys are gonna be main participants in
this game. San Francisco goes back to doing what they
love to do when that's running the ball, uh, and
just a little bit over the top with Sanders, and

(49:28):
then a couple of you know, extra plays for Samuel
as well. I think Samuel to me is a nice
uh you know, flex play. I think he's a guy
who could just do a little bit of everything in
this game, so
