when they said to me, let's go to the Lord's
house Psalm one twenty two, Verse one. Dear Lord Tonight,

as I lay my head down and seek peace, I
prayed that your perfect love would cast out all fear,
free me from anxiety, and hold my thoughts captive, hedged
me in, and bill walls of protection around my mind

Like the rhymparts of Jerusalem. My thoughts wander and stray
away from you. Memories of mistakes and mister opportunities replay
themselves in my mind's eyes, seeking to shame me and
rob me of my sleep. Be my protector and bring

my lost consciousness back into your comforting embrace. There is
peace within your walls, Lord Jesus, and I can genuinely
repose in your presence, deliver me tonight from intrusive thoughts,

and usher me into blissful sleep. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen,

We will be meditating on Psalm one twenty two. Begin
this meditation by relaxing your body and calming your mind.
Control your breathing to release the tension in your body
(03:05):
and to quiet the noise in your mind. Get in
a comfortable position where your back is flat and straight
and your chest is open. Take a deep breath. Feel
the fresh air cleans your lungs. Hold your breath for
a few seconds. Exhale slowly, and feel the oxygen flow
(03:29):
throughout your body, rejuvenating you and restoring you. Practice taking longer,
deeper breaths. With each inhale, tighten a different muscle group
of the body. With each exhale, relax your muscles. Continue
(03:50):
to tighten and relax every muscle until your body softens,
from your head to your toes. Breathe in and out.
Close your eyes and take another deep, cleansing breath. Lift
(04:10):
your burdens to the Lord. Cast your anxiety on him.
As you exhale, let go of any anxious thoughts and
focus on the Lord carrying your burdens, lightening your load
to give you rest as you listen to God's word
(04:31):
to night. Step into the presence of the Lord, and
may He fill you with his hope, joy, and peace,
so that you may find true rest. Psalm one hundred
twenty two from the King James's version says, I was
glad when they said, unto me, let us go into
(04:52):
the house of the Lord. Our feet shall stand within
thy gates O Jerusalem. Jerusalem is built as a city
that is compact together. Whither the tribes go up the
tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to
give thanks unto the name of the Lord. For there

are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the House
of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They shall
prosper that love thee peace be within thy walls, and
prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companion's sake,
I will now say, peace be within thee because of

the House of the Lord, our God, I will seek
thy good. Meditating on the word of the Lord makes
us aware of his powerful presence. Hearing his truth comforts
us and brings us peace. Following his commands fills our
hearts with joy and delight. Come before the Lord and

invite his presence. As you sleep. In his presence, you
will find rest for your soul and refreshment for your
body and mind. Take a deep breath. Be still before
the Lord and bask in his presence. Feel his light
shine upon you. Exhale slowly, and allow his glory to

rest upon you, keeping you warm and safe throughout the night.
Close your eyes and imagine a city on a hill
where people from all over the world visit to worship
the Lord and praise his name. See the glorious city
shine brightly with the light and love of God into
(06:48):
a dark world. Take a deep breath, be filled with
his hope. Know only he can satisfy your needs with
his peace and love. Exhale slowly and put your trust
in God. Acknowledge any unconfessed sin before the Lord. Ask
(07:11):
for his forgiveness, Ask for his guidance as you seek
to do his will take a deep breath, be filled
with His mercy and grace. Exhale slowly and let go
of any sin and shame in the Lord's presence. Know
his sacrifice has satisfied the atonement for our sins, freeing
(07:35):
us from our shame. Rejoice in the name of the Lord.
Lift your spirit to praise Him for all he has
done for you. Thank him for the ways he has
provided for you and protected you. Thank Him for the
justice he brings to this world through wise judges and rulers.
(07:57):
Think of a person who is struggling to find peace
in their life. Pray they will turn to God and
allow his peace to transcend their circumstances. Pray God's presence
will comfort them and help them rest throughout the night.
Come before the Lord with your requests, Give him the
(08:19):
desires of your heart. Lift your struggles. Seek the Lord,
and he will fill your life with his hope, joy
and peace. Pray for protection over those who love God
and seek his face. Pray he will keep them in
his perfect peace as they sleep through the night. Pray
(08:43):
for provision over your family and friends. Pray God will
satisfy their needs and fulfill their desires. Overflowing their hearts
with his joy. Pray for peace as you and your
loved ones lay down to rect Pray God will help
you experience deep, RESTful sleep tonight. Take a deep breath,

Exhale slowly, and release any stress and tension that is
still lingering from today. Rest in his presence. Feel safe
and secure in his hands. Find satisfaction in his provision.
Close your eyes and allow his peace to relax your

body and calm your mind as you prepare for sleep.
