Hello, I'm Grace for Tonight's sleep Song by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm fifty six. Let's get
ready to listen to God's word by relaxing our body
and focusing our thoughts on him. First, take a deep breath.
(03:11):
Feel your chest fully expand as your lungs fill with air.
Hold your breath for a couple of seconds. Rest your
arms gently by your side or in your lap. Then
exhale slowly and feel your body relax. Release the tension
in your neck and shoulders, release the stress in your
(03:35):
muscles and joints. Breathe in and out slowly. Feel your
body softened from your neck and shoulders to your fingers
and toes. Close your eyes and focus on God with
your next exhale. Release any anxious thoughts crossing your mind.
(04:00):
Know He has you in his hands and you are
safe right now. As your mind calms, meditate on God's promises.
Think about the bright future his salvation has secured for you.
There is nothing that can defeat you, not even death.
(04:21):
He has already delivered you and saved you. Feel the
joy fill your heart as you contemplate what He has
done for you. Take another deep breath, Exhale slowly, and
open your mind and heart to listen to Hear's voice.
(04:43):
Ask for him to speak to you through his word.
Know his truth will bring light into your darkness and
peace into your soul. Get comfortable as you prepare to
receive God's word in the darkness and stillness of the night.
Our fears and worries can keep us from experiencing peaceful
(05:05):
sleep tonight. Let's put our trust in God and allow
his presence to help us find rest. Psalm fifty six
from the King James version says, be merciful unto me,
O God, for man would swallow me up. He fighting
daily oppresseth me. Mine enemies would daily swallow me up.
(05:31):
For they be many that fight against me, O, Thou
Most High, what time I am afraid? I will trust
in thee in God, I will praise his word. In God,
I have put my trust. I will not fear what
flesh can do unto me. Every day they rest my words.
(05:52):
All their thoughts are against me. For evil. They gather
themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps when
they wait for my soul. Shall they escape by iniquity?
In thine anger? Cast down the people, O God, Thou
tellest my wanderings. Put thou my tears into thy bottle?
(06:14):
Are they not in thy book? When I cry unto thee?
Then shall mine enemies turn back? This?
Speaker 1 (06:22):
I know?
Speaker 2 (06:23):
For God is for me. In God, I will praise
his word in the Lord. Will I praise his word?
In God? Have I put my trust? I will not
be afraid what man can do unto me. Thy vows
are upon me, O God, I will render praises unto thee.
(06:44):
For Thou hast delivered my soul from death. Wilt not
thou deliver my feet from falling? That I may walk
before God in the light of the living. When our
world grows dark, we can count on God's word to
light our way and his truth to brighten our days
and knights. The Bible reminds us that God is for us.
(07:08):
Therefore we should not fear any one or anything, since
He has already delivered us from death. We can put
our trust in Him and be confident in His word.
Let's throw off everything that hinders us from experiencing the
calming presence of the Lord. Breathe in and out slowly.
(07:32):
Invite the presence of God into your quiet space. Ask
him to draw you close to Him and help you
feel the warmth of His light and the comfort of
His truth. Take a deep breath and allow God to
fill you with everything you need tonight, comfort, hope, peace
(07:55):
and joy. Exhale and feel your body relax. Close your
eyes and take another deep breath. As your chest rises,
lift your deepest fears and doubts to God. Breathe out
slowly as your chest falls. Visualize God lifting your burdens
(08:22):
and taking the weight off your shoulders. Open your eyes
and relax your neck and shoulders. Breathe in and out slowly.
Think of a time when you lost your faith and
hope in God. Confess when you had allowed your fears
to hinder your relationship with Him. Pray for God to
(08:46):
restore the joy in your relationship with him. Take a
deep breath, allow God's forgiveness to wash over you. Exhale
slowly and release any guilt and shame you are experiencing tonight.
Thank God for giving you his word. Thank Him for
(09:07):
always keeping his promises. Thank Him for the times he
has delivered you. Think of someone who is struggling with
fear right now. Pray for God to deliver them and
help them find rest Tonight. Lay your requests before the Lord.
Lift your fears and worries to him. Know he will
(09:31):
deliver you and keep you from falling. Pray for God
to guide you down the path of life. Pray he
will be your light in this dark world. Pray for
God to protect you and your family from the evil
in this world. Pray he will watch over you as
you sleep. Pray for God to alleviate your fears and worries.
(09:57):
Pray he will soothe your soul and help you find
peaceful rest for your mind, body, and soul. Tonight, take
a deep breath as you exhale, release any tension and
stress that is still lingering from to day. As your
body relaxes, allow God to refresh your soul and bring
(10:21):
you peace to help you rest through the night.
