Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's sleep Psalm by Prey dot com.
We will be meditating on Psalm fifty eight. Prepare to
receive God's word by relaxing your body and opening your
mind and heart. Ask God to help you focus on
him so that you can hear his voice tonight. Allow
(03:29):
him to lead you down a safe, secure path where
your spirit can be renewed and your soul can be refreshed.
Take a deep breath. Feel your lungs fill with air
as your chest expands. Exhale slowly and allow the oxygen
(03:50):
to flow freely throughout your body, restoring and rejuvenating you.
Focus on breathing in and out slowly through your nose
with each breath. Feel your heart rate slow down and
your mind quiet town Close your eyes and focus on
(04:13):
taking deep breaths and relaxing every area of your body.
When you exhale, release the stress and tension in your muscles.
Feel your body soften from your head to your fingers
and toes. If you still feel tension in a particular area,
(04:34):
take a deep breath, focus on that part of your
body and try to relax it when you exhale. As
your body relaxes, focus your thoughts on God. Meditate on
his love and mercy. Find comfort in his word. Living
(04:55):
in a world filled with injustice can darken our days
and night and leave us feeling hopeless and insecure. But
the Bible reminds us that God's justice will prevail and
those who put their trust in Him will be rewarded.
Psalm fifty eight from the King James version says, do
(05:18):
ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation, do ye judge uprightly,
O ye sons of men, yea in heart ye work wickedness.
Ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
The wicked are estranged from the womb. They go astray
as soon as they be born speaking lies. Their poison
(05:41):
is like the poison of a serpent. They are like
the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear, which will not
hearken to the voice of charmers. Charming, never so wisely
break their teeth, O God, in their mouth, break out
the great teeth of the young lions, O Lord, Let
them melt away as waters which run continually when he
(06:05):
bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows. Let them be
as cut into pieces as a snail which melteth. Let
every one of them pass away, like the untimely birth
of a woman, that they may not see the sun
before your pots can feel the thorns. He shall take
(06:25):
them away as with a whirlwind. Both living and in
his wrath. The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance.
He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked,
so that a man shall say, Verily, there is a
reward for the righteous. Verily, he is a God that
judgeth in the earth. As you meditate on God's word,
(06:50):
rejoice in knowing God's justice will triumph over the evil
in our world. Find freedom in knowing this justice can
only be admitted stirred by God's hands. He will bring
down those who oppose him and lift up those who
put their faith in Him. Tonight, find rest in knowing
(07:11):
you serve the righteous Judge of the earth, and he
will be with you as you sleep. Breathe in and
out slowly. Allow God's hope and peace to comfort you
throughout the night. Evil may darken your days, but God's
love and light will brighten your nights. Find assurance in
(07:36):
His truth, rest knowing he will make things right again
