rivers of living water. When I feel dry and devoid

better than life. I will praise and lift my hands
in worship. As I lie down to us, I will

(00:51):
remember your goodness. I will meditate on your character and
be comforted by your commandments. Lord. I want my soul
to clean tightly to you like a child does to

(01:13):
his father. I want to rejoice that you are near,
and fall asleep by satisfaction and cheer. Your glory and
grace give me assurance and alleviation of anxiety. May I

(01:36):
now slip blissfully into sleep with you on my mind.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's Sleep Psalm by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm sixty three. Your body
and open your mind and heart. As you prepare to
meditate on God's word, get in a comfortable position. Make
sure your back is flat and straight. Rest your hands

(03:14):
gently by your side or on your lap. Take a
deep breath, allow your chest to fully expand and your
lungs completely fill with air before exhaling. As you exhale,
release any tension in your body. Breathe in and out

(03:35):
slowly with each deep breath. Feel your heart rate slow down.
Feel your body soften. Invite God's presence into your quiet
space with your next breath. Imagine God's presence filling your
room and your lungs being filled with the life he

(03:56):
gave you. Feel his presence surround you and his life
flow through your veins, renewing your mind and spirit and
rejuvenating your body. As your body relaxes and your mind calms.
Ask him to speak to you through his word. Focus

(04:18):
your thoughts on his goodness and his faithfulness. Allow his
word to guide you to a safe, secure place where
you can rest tonight. Oftentimes we try to find satisfaction
in the things of this world, but the Bible reminds
us we can only find true satisfaction in God. Tonight,

(04:43):
let's find peace and rest in His presence, provision and protection.
Psalm sixty three from the King James version says, O God,
Thou art, my God, early will I seek THEE. My
thy soul thirsteth for THEE. My flesh longeth for THEE

(05:03):
in a dry and thirsty land where no water is,
to see Thy power and thy glory, so as I
have seen THEE in the sanctuary. Because Thy loving kindness
is better than life, my lips shall praise THEE. Thus
will I bless THEE while I live. I will lift
up my hands in Thy name. My soul shall be

(05:26):
satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall
praise THEE with joyful lips. When I remember THEE upon
my bed and meditate on THEE in the night watches.
Because Thou hast been my help Therefore, in the shadow
of Thy wings will I rejoice. My soul followeth hard

(05:46):
after thee Thy right hand upholdeth me. But those that
seek my soul to destroy it shall go into the
lower parts of the earth. They shall fall by the sword.
They shall be a portion for foxes. But the King
shall rejoice in God. Every one that swearth by him

(06:07):
shall glory. But the mouth of them that speak lies
shall be stopped. Our stress and anxiety can keep us
up at night, worrying about tomorrow before it even comes.
On those nights when sleep seems far away, No God
is always near, ready to fill you with his joy

(06:29):
and peace, ready to give you rest for your mind, body,
and soul. Take a deep breath, allow his powerful presence
to fill you with his perfect peace. Exhale slowly and
surrender your stress to the Lord. Close your eyes and

(06:51):
be still before the Lord. Know he is your God,
and he is with you in this moment. Focus on
the warmth of His love and glory that fills your soul.
Be comforted by his presence as you sleep tonight. Breathe
in and out slowly. Close your eyes and imagine a

(07:16):
parched land thirsting for water to give it life. What
was once a luscious land has now been reduced to
dirt and dry ground. All the land can do is
wait on its caretaker to water it. Like the parched land,
you can only find satisfaction in the provision of your Creator.

(07:39):
Only he can quench your thirst and satiate your appetite.
Only he can give you life. With your next exhale,
let go of the things in this world and cling
unto God. Open your eyes and look around your room
and know you are safe and secure. The Lord is

(08:01):
with you, and he will uphold you with his right hand.
He will sustain you through the night. Take a deep
breath and lift your fears to God. Exhale slowly and
feel your body relax as He surrounds you with his
love and protection. Confess any idols you are clinging unto.

(08:26):
Confess any times where you have placed your hope and
trust in the things of this world rather than God.
Ask for his forgiveness and ask for him to help
you find satisfaction in him alone. Take a deep breath,
allow God's love and mercy to wash over you. Exhale

(08:48):
slowly and release any guilt and shame. Rejoice in the
strength and power of the Lord. Thank him for the
love he has given you. Thank him for the ways
he has provided for you. Thank him for the times
he has protected you. Think of some one who needs

(09:09):
to experience the presence of God to night. Pray he
will be near them and comfort them through the night.
Lay your requests before God. Know he is always with
you and he will give you everything you need. Pray
God will provide for you. Pray you will be satisfied

(09:31):
with his provision. Pray God will protect you and your
family to night. Pray you will experience deep, RESTful sleep
in His presence. Breathe then and out slowly. Relax your
neck and shoulders, release any tension in your body, close

(09:54):
your eyes, and rest in the presence of the Lord,
where you will be safe and secure through the night.
