During your personal growth journey, you’ll encounter moments of disconnection—times when you feel detached or out of body. These are akin to spiritual growth spurts, as your entire being realigns and recalibrates. Know that everything is interconnected, so when you feel a physical ailment, search for the meaning in it (a great resource to check out is The Encyclopedia of Ailments and Diseases by Jacques Martel).

Consider that disease might be your higher self’s way of getting your attention. When faced with suffering or pain, ask yourself:

- How can I extend grace to myself?

- What lessons lie within the experience?

- What deeper meaning can I extract?

Translate your pain into profound understanding; your higher self reaches down to lift you up, and reinvigorate your spirit. You are resilient, strong, and capable.

When you have a big decision in life; a karmic juncture presenting itself to you and it feels like a call to action in your soul, there is no “right” or “wrong” decision to be made. Take notice:

- Does it feel aligned?

- Do you feel resistance?

- Does it feel like you will be denying a part of your soul if you choose one option or the other?

Sometimes you aren’t ready to change your behavior or take the leap, and we find ourselves taking karmic turns that drain our life force. These repetitions serve as important lessons, to help reinforce alignment with our heart’s desires.

When you’re in a heightened emotional state, it can be difficult for your higher self to get through, so your higher self communicates through other people’s sound, clear judgment - people who can get your attention when your higher self can’t connect with you directly. When you hear the message that needs to be delivered to you (no matter where it comes from) your whole body registers it and you’ll feel the wisdom, clarity, and truth, from your higher self coming through.

Recognize the signatures of your higher self. Create code words, symbols, or signals to establish a playful connection. Turn skepticism into curiosity, allowing unseen truths to emerge. Working with your higher self expands your soul and enriches your life. Follow its call—it leads to a more blissful existence.

As you prioritize your happiness, your love and joy ripple outward, impacting the world around you. Your well-being matters, not just to you but to others as well. Your higher self is always there to pull you up higher and brighter but your job is to reach, ask, and pull it down into your reality.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Hi everyone, it's Amanda Rica Green. Welcome to Soul Sessions.
I'm going to lead in and we're going to jump
right into part two of the Higher Self. Because it's
so layered and multifaceted, and it's like, until you get it,
it's elusive. But once it clicks, and then there's practice

(00:29):
or some traction and the synchronicities and the insights and
that alignment, that click, that adjustment happens, you start to
know it and feel it more. And it's definitely personal.
It's different for everyone. There definitely clues and insights I
can give you into how we all experience our higher self,

(00:54):
but what I do fundamentally believe about it. It's like
when you know you know, and it's that inner knowing.
And I've used that word a lot over the past
few months because it is very aquarian, but it's also
been my experience where I'm going deeper than this, I
am into an I know, And maybe that's a good

(01:16):
way to delineate between what we're working to manifest or
our will and our will power, which is so important
and important in strengthening our point of attraction. But there's
something different to me from the I am to the
I know it's elusive, it's expansive, it's rooted and grounded.

(01:38):
I think about when I was in yoga teacher training,
and my yoga teacher used to say root to connect,
meaning like root into the ground, put your roots, your feet,
root into your body, and then expand like a tree,
connect higher. So it's like, that's what the higher self
feels like to me, rooting down deep, very p resent, grounded, real,

(02:02):
and then expansive, luminous and extraordinary simultaneously. And here's what's
interesting is as our consciousness shifts and we move into
this newer phase of humanity, this new human that is happening,
we're evolving into a new humanity. These things that are

(02:24):
available to us, these tools, these extrasensory abilities, telepathic ways
of communicating, living from the heart space, feeling lighter, being
literally lighter in our body, inviting more light codes and
consciousness in through the quantum field. These things are going
to become more natural. And the more effort or attention

(02:47):
really attention, intention and attention that you pay now, it'll
pay forward faster, more rapidly, and in a more accelerated rate.
And it's funny because even today, as i record this podcast,
I feel so zoned out and I'm very present with
you all and ready to talk about this stuff. But

(03:10):
it's like I go through these phases in my growth
where I'm focused and clear and I know my direction,
and then sometimes I feel like I'm in the fog
and phased out and has nothing to do with what
I ate or my night's sleep, or the amount of
water I've had, or exercise or what's on my plate
personally professionally, I'm doing all the normal things or the

(03:33):
regular routine, but I feel a little out of body.
And I'm sharing it because I want you to think
about when you feel a little detached or disassociated. Sometimes
we're going through these growth spurts and our body is
attempting to realign or recalibrate, and it's uncomfortable. So sometimes
that fog and that brain fog, which can certainly be

(03:56):
hormones or a multitude of things you have going on,
but you usually for me, and this is how I operate,
It's how I think, it's how I believe when I
have something physical going on, whether it's lethargy or I
stubbed my toe. And I'm not joking about this. When
I say if I stubbed my toe. The other day,
I was kind of in a hurry and trying to

(04:17):
get out of the house and I went to turn
the water on the faucet off, and I was just
hurrying and I pulled my pinky finger like way back
and almost broke it. I think if I'd have pulled
it any further, I would have broken it right at
the knuckle where it hits my palm. And it was
painful for two days. I mean, I could feel like
I had pulled something, but I really think I almost

(04:39):
broke my finger. But anyway, of course that happened. And
after the initial like I thought I was gonna vomit
for a minute because it was it hurt so badly,
I thought, oh, wait, what is the right pinky signify?
And actually, now I'm saying this, it was my left pinky.
So what does the left pinky signify? And the left
side of the body is typically the feminine side the

(05:00):
body pulling something in the pinky. There's elements to the
pinky as far as control and authority goes, and like
I researched it. I have a book that helps me
with that, and there's this amazing book, and I'll go
ahead and tell you what it is. It's called The
History of Ailments and Diseases by Jacques Martel. And my
good friend Yael reached out to me the other day
and she's like, have you heard of this book? And

(05:21):
I'm like, dude, it's like one of my bibles. It's
Louise Hay talking about the body and different parts of
our body, ailments and diseases and the spiritual not malady,
but the disease or the pathos, the pathology and what
we're healing when some kind of physical ailment arises. But
this is like two point zero of that. It is
so detailed and it has everything from an ingrown toenail

(05:44):
to pancreatic cancer. I mean, like anything that you can imagine.
But anyway, of course, I went to that and I
can't remember exactly right now what the pinky signifies and
all the things, But once I read it, I was like, oh,
that makes sense. That's how I've been in my way today.
And I go to what am I learning from this?

(06:05):
What is my body showing me? What are my emotions
or what is my mind showing me? So when I
experience like a brain fog or a real just kind
of depletion of energy where I feel like I'm walking
with a blindfold on a little bit. Usually that to
me is some kind of spiritual leap that I'm taking,

(06:25):
or a consciousness leap, and it's like my body is
trying to aline to something higher, and my dense physical
body is like, no, we're heavy, We're tired. I'm heavy,
I'm tired, and that right there, it's like, okay, Amanda,
just go slower, slow yourself down, be patient with yourself,

(06:47):
give yourself grace. And those are all things that for
me to be conscious of or for us to be
conscious of, and then figuring out what do I do
to give myself grace or how do I slow down
yet still show up for life and whatever is on
my plate. And sometimes for me it's just telling on myself,
like telling you all like I feel a little slow
right now, but I'm here and I want to be present,

(07:09):
but I'm in some kind of spiritual growth spurt and
with ailments in the body, the psycho spiritual connection. I
do almost always think there's something, you know, A question
that people have is, gosh, if I stub my toe,
is that really something spiritual well, I think God is
either everything or God is nothing. We are all one

(07:32):
or we're disconnected. So everything to me is interconnected, the pain,
the beauty, the love, the joy, the suffering. I always
search for the meaning in it. And while that might
sound like again OCD and like over the top, it's
not stressful for me. It's just like, Ooh, what can
I learn from this or what might this be signaling

(07:53):
to me that I couldn't consciously identify. That's why when
I do have any kind of phisy ailment, I will
oftentimes look for some sort of psycho spiritual or emotional
connection or rut and it usually will help me clarify
what I'm not able to see or process intellectually. So

(08:19):
I just encourage you to think deeper like that. And
the more deeply I think, the easier it becomes, which
also feels like this connection with my higher self. So
I think physical things in the body disease definitely can
be a way that your higher self is trying to
get a hold of you. And I will tell you
I remember listening to Dolores Cannon years ago when she

(08:41):
was channeling, and it was so funny because I knew
this and yet I laughed about it because I can
see where my higher self has done this. But sometimes
really drastic things in my life, accidents or jarring situations
or acute city situations can be like my higher self

(09:03):
and soul and oversoul, you know, my team that's all
connected to the divine and working to keep me on
the path, you know, or redirect me back onto the higher,
more abundant path. Is like, oh gosh, we got to
like smack her up side the head. We hate that
she's going to be in pain and suffering or this
is going to be costly in some way, shape or form,

(09:25):
but we can't get her attention otherwise we've already stubbed
her toe. So now we're going to do a car wreck.
And I know that sounds so drastic, but that's the
way I think of things. And I don't know if
I've shared this before, but I had two labs, and
I think you all know. My dog Techs died around
Easter and he was almost seventeen. His birthday was a
few days ago, or their birthday would have been a

(09:45):
few days ago. I adopted them when they were two
months old. But we see died in twenty nineteen and
it was a pure accident, and I remember, and I'm
not going to recount all of that, but I remember
innately when it happened, tragic and awful, and the suffering
that I felt, and my husband Dennis felt, and my

(10:06):
dog Text was feeling and witnessing. I remember, in that
moment of utter shock and pain and drama because it
was dramatic, I remember there was something transcendent of this
is exactly how it's supposed to be, this is right
on time, And that for me was one of those

(10:27):
illuminating moments in my path. It did not stop my hysterics,
my grief, you know, that hysterical crying and trying to
figure out and reason and turn back time. And if
we would have just done this, or if this would
have happened, or we did everything the same way, did
it go this way? But in that accident, it was

(10:48):
no accident. And I remember something at that point had
so shifted in my perspective of everything in God's world.
Everything in this world has a meaning or a purpose,
whether it's in suffering or it is in beauty. And
I knew it. And then I think of things like genocide.

(11:08):
I think of the Holocaust and so many incredible Holocaust survivors.
I think of Eli Vzl. If you're familiar with El Vzl,
he wrote the book Night. He wanted a Nobel Peace
Prize for that book. He was in Auschwitz as a child.
He had been silent for years, as so many of
those survivors had been, and at some point he made

(11:32):
the decision to break his silence, and that's when he
wrote that book. And I think about so many people
who've had the courage to speak about tragedy and trauma
and horrific events in humanity that they've experienced and lived through.
And one of his greatest messages was they could reduce

(11:55):
me to a number, and reduce my body to skin
and bone and try to take the humanity out of me,
but my spirit was still too strong to let that happen.
That there was going to be meaning in this tragedy,
meaning in this horrific atrocity. And those are the kinds

(12:16):
of things that have made an impression on me. Is
that Wow, If incredible people can come out with stories
of transcendence in God and the meaning and the purpose
in things that are atrocious, what do I do in
my suffering, whether it's stubbing my toe, or it's a

(12:36):
severe accident, loss of a job, breakup of a relationship,
some kind of health challenge. Yes, I can feel pain
and suffering, But what do I do with that pain?
I want to transmute it into meaning. And there's something
innately connected with the higher self to me where it's

(12:57):
almost like the higher self reaches in when we are
at our lowest and pulls us up and kind of
reinvigorates our spirit. It's like this window of opportunity that
if you miss it, you'll miss it because it's so
easy for us to just succumb, to be defeated, to

(13:17):
sink into self pity, but we are so resilient and
so strong and capable. A question that came up about
the higher self is around when we have big decisions
to make in life that feel like not life or death,

(13:39):
but kind of like do I take a left or
do I take a right? Do I get out of
this relationship now or do I stay in it for
another couple of years? Do I stay in this job
or do I leave and go back to school and
change career paths? Big decisions that come up, big junctures
that that feel harmic, meaning they make an impression within us,

(14:04):
on our soul, where it's it's not just the mental
discernment and chatter, Okay, do I do this, Let me
weigh my pros and cons, but more like it's like
a call to action in the soul. And it feels
like if you're damned if you do, you're damned if
you don't. Because both decisions are hard, but one of
them tends to sway towards If I don't do this,

(14:25):
then I'm gonna be denying a part of me or
a part of my soul. And I feel like that's
a way that the higher self really gets our attention
in big decisions. And someone asked me recently about gosh,
did I make the wrong decision? And I'm not a
big right or wrong person. I mean, I definitely have
ethics and morals, and I can think in terms of
right and wrong. But I know every quote unquote poor

(14:49):
decision I've made, or decisions that really were not no boy,
no right. You know, whether they're little things are big things.
You know, I know that those dec decisions, whatever path
they set me on, it might feel like the long
way around, but it's because a lesson had not gotten
my attention enough to change behavior. It had not gotten

(15:12):
my awareness. So I needed a little more suffering, a
little more trudging, a little more resistance to get in
enough discomfort or out of whack, out of alignment energy
to say, wait a minute, you know, Oh that's why
I did this. Oh that's the lesson. And I had
that happen last year, and it came out of the blue.

(15:33):
I didn't feel like I was on a karmic juncture
where I took a left or a right. I made
a decision last year when we had launched the podcast.
I was super excited about that. It all felt very aligned.
The timing was divine, my team assembled, everything was coming
together in the most fluid way. And simultaneously next to that,

(15:57):
I had this opportunity come up out of the blue
to focus back in on the work that I do
with corporations, with corporate work, corporate wellness, and that opportunity
opened up and being who I am. And I was
also still in active grief and bereavement. Instead of reaching

(16:20):
out to my you know, spiritual mentor and really asking
for guidance, I mean, Dennis, my husband, and I had
talked about it, and he's always like, whatever you want
to do, I back it. If you believe in this,
I back it, go for it, make the investment, do
the thing. I remember just making the decision feeling like
it was kind of like more is more. This is
presented to me, so why not say yes? This seems aligned?

(16:43):
And it really did at the time, and a couple
of months in I was like, whoa, I don't belong
here anymore. And I signed like a six month contract.
So I was committed and I'm not one to stop
short of anything, like I'm going to see it through
because maybe something hasn't been revealed yet. But pretty early

(17:03):
on there were red flags and signs that were saying,
I don't know if this investment is going to pay out, Amanda.
I don't know if this is where you want to
be spending your time and energy anymore. And that started
to like snowball more and more, and of course resentment
would build or frustration would build. Things were not aligning.

(17:24):
And one of my gifts I'm great in building relationship
because I care. I just have a knack for relationship
building and aligned relationship building. It's just a fluid thing
for me. Most of the time. But what was funny
is it felt like it felt like resistance. Like every
meeting I would have or business meeting that would be

(17:46):
set up to network and meet new people and pitch ideas.
First of all, I didn't get excited about it. I
mean I would get excited a little bit at times
and creative and have my energy and innovation. It just
felt disjointed. I didn't feel like the people I was
talking to were on the same page as me, and

(18:07):
now I know we weren't on the same frequency. It
wasn't that we couldn't have a dialogue or conversation or
find common ground, but they didn't get me, and they
were not wanting to bring in an energetic or a
consciousness or a spiritual component into the corporate setting because
there was a fear that, well, if we give our
employees autonomy, then they're gonna overthrow us or they're gonna leave.

(18:31):
There was so many layers of what was going on,
But it was like a lesson for me where I
took a karmic turn, or I made the decision to
jump in invest commit to six eight months of something,
and by the last three months of it, it was
like draining my life force, and I was like, I

(18:53):
am not supposed to be here, you know. And I
finished it out in integrity, but it was almost like
a lesson that I had been learning over and over
and over again that finally it solidified. And it was
frustrating because financially it was an investment. I was working
with some consultants and they were great. They had a

(19:13):
lot of wisdom and knowledge and expertise, but it did
not align with my heart's desires, my God given gifts
and talents, the things that really light my fire. I
was not going to have the freedom, and I would
have to fit my work, my voice, my wisdom into

(19:34):
their box and almost water it down, like I was
going to have to water down my consciousness and my
spirituality in order to work with a company or an organization.
And I don't want to water myself down. I want
to be me. So there were so many gifts that

(19:54):
came through the pain and resistance of that, and I
would continually say, Soul, higher, Self, guide it, direct me.
And the messages I kept getting were, Amanda, keep moving
through this. You've committed. You can't just back out. You know,
it's not worth just completely abandoning because you're really fundamentally

(20:15):
learning something and you're not gonna have to tread there
any longer. Like it wasn't just Amanda in this lifetime.
It felt very karmic to me. It felt like something
from multiple lifetimes where I had chosen to sell myself short,
or sell my truth, my voice, my finesse, my flair,
my authentic self short in order to appease or fit

(20:41):
the mold of something or someone else. And so it's
amazing what has unfolded in the six months after that
of how how I'm like, Oh, I know the direction
I'm going, I know what feels more aligned. And there's
this funny trickle down effect because I went more from

(21:02):
professional business relationships to now I'm even seeing it play
out because I'm more fundamentally true. My point of attraction
is stronger. I see it in personal relationships, I see
it in day to day interactions. And I'm now seeing
a delineated energetic scale with people where oh, we're not

(21:23):
on the same frequency and it's not negative or bad,
but I don't need to intermingle or stay in that
lower frequency of that person too long. I can interact,
but oh, it's pulling my energy down, so I don't
need to keep staying in that dialogue, that conversation. I

(21:43):
think about this, and this is a really good one
because it relates to me personally, but I know it
will relate to you. I remember listening to Brene Brown
years ago, and she gave the most poignant She always
gives poignant examples, of course, but she gave this example
where she said she ran into a woman in the
grocery store and it was like one of her children's
friends parents. You know, she knew her from school, she

(22:06):
knew her peripherally. The lady was nice enough. It was
good to run into her, you know, just good to
see somebody. Oh hey, how are you doing. They had
some small talk, and she said, as she was walking
away from the woman, she said, it was so great
to see you. Call me and let's have coffee sometime.
And then as she walked away, she said to herself,

(22:29):
why did I say that I enjoyed seeing this woman.
It was great to run into her, but I'm not
gonna go have coffee with her. I don't have time
for that. I like her enough, but it's like, why
did I feel the need to say it was great
to see you call me and let's have coffee. When
I don't mean that, I don't want that. I'm not

(22:50):
gonna follow through on that. Or if I follow through,
it's gonna be adding to my plate, adding stress, and
I'm gonna be fitting it in and then I'm gonna
create a stressful situation. You see how the domino effect happened.
And she said, so why not just say it was
great to run into you. Maybe I'll see you again
in a couple of weeks. So altering language, see how

(23:12):
you can catch yourself and how does this relate to
the higher self. I'll bring it back around in a minute.
But see in your dialogue with people, when you enjoy
seeing somebody but you don't necessarily need to go sit
down and have lunch or a cup of coffee with them.
You just know it's good to interact, but they might
not be someone that you need to cultivate an intimate

(23:36):
relationship with, and you kind of your radar knows it,
but your voice says something different, or you're obligatory voice
or what I would call conditioned polite dishonesty, meaning I mean,
I'm a libra, So oh, it's so good to see
you you know, and sometimes it really is good to
see somebody, and then other times I catch myself saying

(23:56):
it's so good to see you with someone that might
be benign that I'm kind of like, oh, I could
take them or leave them. And I'm not being ugly.
I am being true and I am becoming more and
more conscientious of that. And a really good trick for that,
And I tell clients this all the time is use
it in your text messages, because text messages are more

(24:18):
succinct in language. You know, if you don't want to
enter a dialogue with someone, you don't have to say
how are you doing? Really looking at the language you
use when you text, you really mean because you can
take a minute, like say somebody reaches out to check
in or is just connecting with you, and they just say, hey,

(24:41):
oh my gosh, this happened, and I thought about you.
I hope you're doing well. So they didn't say how
are you doing? What's going on? It was just pretty much, hey,
I was thinking about you. I hope you're doing well,
instead of me saying, oh my gosh, that's so great. Thanks.
Oh that makes me laugh. I mean, I can say that,
but then do I really have the energy to say, well,

(25:02):
how are you, or let's hop on a call sometime.
So while that is very nuanced language, pay attention to
your text messages. And what I was going to say
is in relating this to the higher self, that pause
or that hesitation in your language, in the passer by
language of running into somebody in the grocery store, or

(25:25):
just simple check in text messages, pay attention to your
language because the more that you pause or hesitate or
become conscious and conscientious of your language, your higher self
will give you the wise verbiage. And that's what I
found to be true when I take a minute and

(25:47):
really ensure that my outside voice or my fingers that
are typed in the text are matching my inner voice.
And usually when I take that pause to define my
language more thoroughly or more clearly in terms of what
I'm really feeling thinking internally, my higher self gives me

(26:10):
the verbiage. And that's a way to connect with your
higher self. Another thing, and I was thinking about these
kind of karmic fate twists and turns in life. I
remember back in it would be December of twenty twenty two.

(26:31):
I remember back in it would be December of twenty
twenty two. We were living in Belize and I had
come back home around Christmas time to see my mom.
She had terminal metastatic cancer, but she had been doing
really well, and I knew she had had some decline
and things were going on. So I came back specifically
to see her and take her to a couple of

(26:52):
doctor's appointments because she had some new pains and things
creeping up. So when I came back from Belize, and
our dogs obviously were still in Belize, and I just
came back by myself. And when I came back, there
was a noticeable shift in my mom's health. She was
so strong and so proud and so independent and self sufficient,

(27:14):
and she really had thrived, you know, she was so
incredible in her faith and her mind over matter. But
when I came back in December, it was an extremely
distressing trip because she had drastically declined, Like she was
having trouble getting up off of the sofa, Like when
we went to the doctor's appointment one morning she had

(27:35):
some scans and I remember her getting up and getting dressed.
She was moaning and groaning. She was moving really slow.
I had to help her in and out of the
car when I dropped her off at the front door
for the scan, and there was this noticeable decline in
her body, in her disease, progression, in her energy field,

(27:56):
in her ability to take care of herself by herself.
And it was a really traumatic trip because it was
very confronting for me. I realized, Oh my gosh, she
doesn't need to be living alone. Oh my gosh, she's declining.
Oh my gosh, this is really happening. Now. We've had

(28:19):
all these good years with this terminal cancer and these miracles,
but something has changed. Oh my gosh. I live outside
of the country. We've talked about moving back if something
were to happen, or I can just come back and
stay for an extended period of time. But while I
was with her, I mean I spassed out and lost
my mind. It was like I got in all this

(28:40):
fear because I was like, what are we going to do?
Because Dennis and I at that point had sold our
house already and we're going to move to South America.
But then when I got back and saw her, it
was like, I can't move even further away to South America.
And it also doesn't make sense for me to just
come stay with her or without Dennis, without the dogs,

(29:02):
Like this is going to be a lot. This is real,
and so it was very difficult emotionally and mentally for
me to process. I couldn't figure out what to do.
When I got back to Belize and I told Dennis
about what was going on, and I was noticeably frantic
and hyperventilating and off my rocker, like I just was

(29:24):
in stress and dress and not aligned with my higher self.
I was angry and like it was just all the
emotions were coming out sideways because I was afraid. And
also it was becoming real that she would be dying, right,
I knew that was happening, but she had just been
so miraculous, so I knew she would be dying. And
I'm spassing out, you know, like all of it just

(29:46):
piling on. And we were sitting on our porch and
I remember this as I'm melting and losing my mind.
And he said, Amanda, we just moved back to Texas
and we get a house sudden, we take care of her.
And that was my higher self. It was Dennis, but
my higher self came through Dennis's sound clear judgment of

(30:12):
you're trying to make everything work mechanically and financially and literally,
and he's like, we just moved back. And he said
it clearly and matter of factly, like it was very
clear to him what we did. But in the moment,
I was so amped up there was no way I
could see wisdom, clarity, truth, higher self. So if you

(30:33):
are in a heightened state or a depressive state, so
if something acute traumatic, so if it's grief, bereavement, you've
just gotten alarming news, it can be very, very challenging
to access your center, your center of gravity, your true north,
and connect with the higher self. And in that moment,

(30:55):
you know, sitting there, Dennis was able to be the
emissary of myself because exactly what he said, it wasn't
just Dennis. My whole body just exhaled. So it was
like it was Dennis, and it was my higher self
getting Dennis's sound attention because he was available to deliver
that message. So it was both. And so when you

(31:18):
think about connecting with God and Source and the universe
and your guides and your angels and your loved ones
and your higher self, it can come through in a
multitude of ways. So it's not about limiting the definition
of connecting with the higher self. And in that moment

(31:39):
when he said that those are the moments where time
and space stands still, that's a transcendent moment. Because he
said that, and I went, ah, we can do that.
I mean, I'm a pretty independent like he would tell you,
like I ruled the roost, although I really appreciate that
he takes charge in a lot of places because I

(32:00):
don't like to be in that role all the time.
But like that would have been something that would have
been pretty practical and clear for anybody to reflect back
to me, Why don't you just move home, Amanda? But
I couldn't see that. So just know that your higher
self can come through other people in those moments who
can get your attention. And sometimes getting our attention is

(32:24):
not always what we want to hear, you know, when
we've misbehaved or been unkind or we're in the wrong
and we're still trying to justify and reason it out,
and then somebody says, but you just weren't nice, you know,
or yeah, Amanda, you were a little harsh, you know,
and it's like, but okay, you're right. So sometimes your

(32:45):
higher self is reflected through someone else, expand your consciousness
in that arena. Another way of thinking about the higher self,
because we do have guides and angels and other souls
and energies and extra dimensional beings. I mean, there's so

(33:05):
many layers of unseen support that I do not limit it.
I can feel the difference typically in my higher self
versus obviously a spirit. You know, if I'm doing mediumship,
it's not my higher self, it's someone else's mother that's
coming through. So there's a clear delineation for me with

(33:27):
that only because these are the gifts that I have,
and I've done this for a long time. But let's
say you have lost a loved one. You know, your
mother or your father has passed on, and you get
messages from them, and there are certain signs and symbols
that you know or them. You know, you look for
those signatures. What I also trust is like if I'm

(33:49):
driving and you know, all of a sudden, I see
something like a sign a bird or something or a
song comes on and it reminds me like immediately I
go to my mom, or immediately I go to my
dad or my grandmother. I say, oh, I know that's
who it is. I don't second guess, I question. I

(34:10):
know that's who is sending me a message or getting
my attention or coming through. You develop that muscle with
your higher self, like your higher self is kind of
like a person, and I don't think about it this way,
but I'm helping you to know the signatures of your
higher self where it's like, oh, that's this infinite version

(34:32):
of me. That's the wisest, most conscious, most infinite version
of me. So it's like this unique blueprint. So if
you need to look for the signatures, or maybe even
play a game with your higher self where you say, okay, soul, hey,
higher self, like let's say this is our sign Okay,

(34:52):
it's a lady bug, or okay, it's twelve twelve on
the clock, or it's this word. If you want to
do something like that, do it and say, higher Self,
here is our code word. You know, our code word
is spectacular. When this shows up, it's going to catch
my attention. And then if you say that with emphasis

(35:14):
and knowing and belief and trust, inevitably you'll be walking
around and somebody be like, oh my gosh, that's spectacular,
and you're going to like do a double take and
say what did you just say? And they're like, oh,
that's spectacular, and you're just kind of stunned. So figure
out if you're struggling to connect with your higher self
or trust that it's your higher self, create some code

(35:38):
word or code signal and just give it to the
universe and remind yourself every now and again that that's it,
and then play with it and start there. It's really
about getting in sync and in alignment with what we
cannot see and busting through the skepticism or the cynicism.
And I think healthy skepticism and a little bit of

(36:01):
cynical behavior at times is imperative because that can be important.
So we're asked to question or to look double check
something or look at something from a different vantage point.
But in general, I can be skeptical and ask a
few questions and then boom, I move out of skepticism
because I go straight to knowing. Now the skepticism, I

(36:23):
have to exercise that in a different way because I
just go straight to knowing if I hear something that
resonates with me and it's like, oh yeah, working with
the higher self. This is about expanding yourself, your soul,
your life. It should be fun, it should be adventurous,
it should be curious. It gets to be those things.

(36:47):
It is really following the call, following your bliss, and
that's the pathway that the Higher Self is opening for us,
this pathway of more blissful living in a very bleak world.
And I remember listening to something the other day and
thinking about this, you know, how can I be joyful
when there's so much trauma in the world. And that's

(37:09):
such a good question and perspective. Well, it's not that
I'm not sensitive to the trauma of the world or
aware of tragedy and devastation happening in the world. But
the more that I pay attention to my health, well being, happiness, upliftment,
joy the more I get to beam that energy out

(37:32):
in the best way. And I know I've talked about
that before. I may not be able to directly impact
what's going on in the Middle East or what's going
on maybe with homelessness in parts of our country. Yes,
I could do some things and take some steps, and
if that shows up for me, then it's my opportunity

(37:52):
to extend a couple of dollars for somebody or keep
some waters in my car and hand that out when
I see somebody at a red light. I can make
those choices. But if I don't have those opportunities, I
can beam out my love and my health and my joy.
And when I'm joyful, that transmission, that energetic transmission, is
like a beacon. That's like it's like reverberating out. So

(38:17):
working on ourselves internally really does make a massive impact
on the collective, on the collective consciousness. So you are important.
The quality of your health, well being, spiritual life, spiritual
enrichment is making a difference. It is noticeable, and it's
making a difference even though maybe you can't track it

(38:38):
or see it. Know that. And so the more work
you do personally, the more it really does make a
global impact. Because there's this wave of enlightenment and awakening
and higher consciousness that is gaining. It's like a freaking riptide.
I mean because I can feel it, I can see it.
And like I said, the people that are kind of

(38:59):
shifting into low heavier energy or becoming it's the divide
is becoming wider. And that's why getting in and connecting
with your higher self it's so rich right now make
a choice to heed the call. Make a choice to
heed the call and be the hero of your own
journey and following your bliss, letting your higher self guide

(39:20):
and direct you. And I'm so excited about the Conscious Collective.
If you haven't heard about that, I know I've mentioned
it a couple of times. It's up on the website.
We've already got amazing people who are doing it. It's
going to be a pretty small group and an intimate group,
which is intentional, and it kicks off July first, but
we will actively work with our higher selves and our

(39:41):
higher selves in tandem with each other because we'll be
able to do that because of that intimate time together.
And I'm excited about it because, first of all, I
can see a lot of things happening, and I'm excited
for what I can't see happening because I already and
I'm smiling about it as I say it, because working
in community and working consciously in community, getting more intune

(40:01):
individually with our higher selves and then collectively collaborating with
the higher self within a group, it's kind of spectacular.
And it's like a snowball effect of health, well being, healing,
and we're going to do that in a multitude of ways.
So if you haven't heard about it, we did a
little bonus episode on the podcast that you can check out.

(40:23):
But no matter what, right now, I would definitely say,
I know it's the summer, and you know, we get
into a little bit of a summer vibe, but I
think June, July and August or like a wild roller
coaster ride of energy, and it's like there's a window
of opportunity that feels just wickedly expansive. But the call

(40:50):
that I am getting personally and I'm seeing for other
people is, Amanda, do you have your spiritual backpack on?
Are you going to the gym every day? And for me,
the new horology, like that's such an easy way for
me to understand energies and see things that astrology, whether
it's using oracle cards or my crystals, whatever, journaling, whatever,

(41:15):
new and full moons, whatever works for you in your
spiritual practice, implement it, implement it consistently. And you'll know
I say this all the time, but I feel like
right now, in these like June, July, August, we're being
uniquely positioned and stuff is happening. I think there's going

(41:36):
to be some interesting things that happen in the world
and on the world stage between now in the fall,
and it's like, I don't know, We're being prepared for
new ways of being, living and doing, and as a result,
there may be some suffering and some drastic change. And
I'm not saying any of that to be a doomsday person,

(41:58):
because it's not creating fear in me. It's actually giving
me the impetus or the push to say, all right,
like get into your spiritual practices, get into your body,
get into your health, your wellness, and do it consistently
like your life depends upon it. But then with joy,
you know. And that's the funny thing about working with
the soul and the higher self and my spiritual journey.
It's like I do it because I can, and I'm

(42:21):
going to take the action and make the effort, but
I also do it because I love it. You know.
It's lifestyle kind of stuff. So if there was ever
a time or and you know, a place, I think,
even with the numerology of June being a five month
and an eight year, I already told you it's kind
of a wacky energy and if you miss it, you'll

(42:41):
miss it. But it's the time for leaps of faith,
investing in your spiritual well being and harnessing it because
there is there's like luck, fate, destiny at play. The
wheel of fortune to me feels like the energy of
this month, the wheel of fortune in the tarot, the
hand of destiny. The wheel of fortune is spinning, and

(43:05):
it's like, what are you doing to jump in and
embrace your destiny? What is your destiny? What is your legacy?
Do you think about those things? If not, talk to
your higher self? Hey? What am I destined to be?
And it's not about it being a perfect yes or
no answer, or you're supposed to be a fireman, you know,
It's like, it's really more like, what is my destiny now?

(43:28):
Is your destiny now? Peace? Is it happiness? Is it
healing resentments? Is it embracing a talent that you've been
scared to express? Is it getting sober? What is my
destiny now? That's what I want to close on. Hey, soul, Hey, hi,
your self, reveal my destiny now and see what impressions

(43:53):
you get. Have fun and know that your higher self
and your soul it's there. It's always working to pull
you up higher and brighter. But our job, your job,
by job, our job is to reach and ask to
pull that light in and down and through. All right,

(44:17):
everyone be welcome
