Hi! I'm Jim Jacob, a South Carolina based creator. I started as a podcaster by accident. Our first real episodes on the internet were me trying to find a solution to help tell my sons stories as I was traveling for work. I recorded some stories and hoped that by uploading them to a podcast app, my wife and kids could have easy access to listen. What started as a fix for our family’s bedtime routine interruption has grown into a worldwide audience with hundreds of thousands of listeners. Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, friends, Welcome to his biology squad. We are a
team of spies who specialize in science. You see Doctor
Stinky Breath in The Purple Ninjas are trying to take
over the world through science, and it is up to
us to stop them before it is too late.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
It was a beautiful fall day. The leaves had changed
their colors. You could tell that most of the critters
that my grate before winter had already started their journey,
and the Purple Ninjas were sitting in doctor Stinkybread's backyard
trying to come up with their next nefarious plan.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Okay, Steve, let's hear these ideas you've been talking about
all week. We really need to come up with something incredible.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
I don't know what if we stole everyone sicks. You know,
that'd be pretty fun.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Now, Steve, and we don't care about sucks less. If
they're very stinky, then yes, But I don't think the
boss will be impressed with that idea, So let's let's
put a pit in that.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
Okay, did I bowl out of ideas?

Speaker 2 (01:22):
What do you mean that.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Was your only idea? I thought you said you had
some great ideas.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Well. We think nobody have forgotten the other ones.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Of course you dead, Steve. There's gotta be a way
that we can make our mark on the world. We
need everyone to know we are the greatest Villa team
of all time. You and I got nothing.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Wouldn't it be good? We could turn the son purple?
Didn't they know? Didn't they know? Weren't the best turn
out sun purple? Following that was possible? Hey, that'd be
pretty cool. Hey, I've gotta run this by the bus.
Maybe there's a way we could make that happen.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Meanwhile, across town, Jaden and Ava were at school. They
were just finishing up a math exam that they'd been
studying for for a very long time. As the teacher
told the class to put their pencils down and pass
their test to the front of the class, Jaden looked
at Ava and whispered, Hey, how'd you do? We'll see

(02:35):
I guess I spent most of my time on question thirteen.
Me too.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
Oh my head is still spinning just thinking about it.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Attention, class, I have been informed that the signups are
now open for the Regional Science Fair. You can find
everything you need to know on these papers here, class dismissed,
Ava shouted Jaden we should work on a project together. Yeah,
that sounds fun. Any ideas what we should do? Want

(03:09):
to make a volcano again? Like last year? Uh? That
was pretty fun, Jayden, But we should probably do something
different this year. You know, half the school did also
make a volcano. We need to make something that stands
out a little bit better. Oh good point, Ava, But

(03:31):
right now I don't really have any ideas because I'm starving,
said Jaden. Why am I not surprised, said Ava as
she laughed to herself. Hey, my best ideas come after
I eat a smoothie. Oh speaking of smoothies, Jaden's eyes
got very large. Do you want to go get it

(03:52):
smoothie at the smoothie truck? Ooh, smoothie sounds perfect.

Speaker 5 (03:57):
Let's go.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
As the day at school ended, and our friends Ava
and Jaden rode their bikes to the delicious smoothie truck
to satisfy the smoothie craving the purple Ninjas, we're telling
doctor Stinkybreath the idea of a purple son. Okay, this

(04:20):
sounds like a good idea. I think we could actually
get the world to finally notice us. So how do
you plan on turning the sun purple.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Oh yeah, well, it's just that the idea phase right now.
We haven't quite figured out exactly how to do it yet.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
What do you mean? What good are you if you
don't bring me a plan? Ideas are cheap, you are
not whatever? Let me sing for a second.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
Ah, well, but maybe we could at least colored the
light quicker dumbs a purple paint on the sun.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Quiet the bus is thinking.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
Just then, Doctor Stinkybreath opened his eyes and started to
make his mischievous smile.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
I don't think paintings the sun their verk, but I
think there might be a way to colors the sunlight.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
Come on, Pepple.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
Ninjas, meet me at the theater. I'm going to grab
some materials for the plan.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
That theater, yeah, the one we use for our ninja
talent shells.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Of course, is there another theater that we have?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Okay, okay, we'll meet you there.

Speaker 5 (05:46):
Ava and Jaden then rode their bikes from school to
a food truck called Prism Smoothies. They had the best
assortment of flavors.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
Huh, I think.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
I'm gonna go with the cherry banana explosion. What are
you gonna get, Jaden? I'm not sure yet. But oh, Ava,
why do you think they call this truck prison smoothies?
Is it a truck from prison? No, Jaden, it's not prison.
It's prism, you know, like a prism that makes rainbows

(06:20):
from light. See, they have a whole bunch of them
hanging off the edge of their roof. Ave appointed to
several prisms hanging that were reflecting beautiful rainbows all over
the ground. Wow, how do those things work? Asked Jaden.
I'm not exactly sure, but last night on the Bedtime

History podcast, I learned that Isaac Newton used prisms and
some of his findings about light. They must be important,
I guess. Come on already, make your smoothie order so
we can get going. Oh there's just too many to
pick from, said Jaden as he scanned the menu. I

(07:02):
want them all. Then get the zombie smoothie. It's a
combination of all the flavors. Oh, yes, zombie smoothie. It is,
as Jaden acted like he had turned into a zombie himself.
As the Purple Ninjas met up with Doctor Stinky Breath

(07:23):
and their talent show theater of Doctor Stinkybread's basement, he
couldn't find where he.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Was bos bos. Where are you?

Speaker 2 (07:36):
We're here, I'm up top. Take a seat. I have
something to show you.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
Why you're all the lights diego.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
I don't know, but sounds like the boss is up
to set it up. There wheat, sit down.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
I give you purple light.

Speaker 5 (07:59):
All of us that in the stage was filled with
a bright purple light that was coming from the stage lights.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
That's pretty cool, bus. Wow, But I don't think these
lights are gonna be big enough or bright enough to
shine on the whole earth.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
I know, but the sun is see. These stage lights
are normal lights, but in order to change the color,
we had to put something in front of them, called
a gel. By putting this little piece of purple plastic
in front of the light, we're able to change the

(08:38):
entire glow of the light.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
Oh wow, yeah, but how does that work? That's remarkable.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
I don't know. What do you think? What would you
say if I was able to make one of these
big enough to put in space and cover the sunlight
so that the world would most become like one of
these purple stage lights on the world.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
That sounds great, Bud. I don't know how we're gonna pult.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
That up, don't very I already put it in motion.
I golds the pepper inches up in our space blimp
and they are almost ready for testing.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Since when we have a space.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Plimp, I bought one online last month. I was waiting
for a perfect time to surprise you to visit, and now.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
Is the time.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Today is the day we turn the sun purple. It's
your time, Pepper Hinches. Oh no, what in the world.

Speaker 5 (09:48):
Could be going on? Do you think that doctor sinkybirth
can actually turn the sun purple? Sounds confusing and like
it would be a big deal. I'm not sure exactly
how he's gonna pull this off, but I think Spiology
Squad is in for a big mess on the next episode.
