Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, friends, Welcome to his Biology Squad. We are a
team of spies who specialize in science. You see doctor
Stinky Breath in the Purple Ninjas are trying to take
over the world through science, and it is up to
us to stop them before it is too late.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
On the last episode, we just saw that Jaden was
given a cup of ice water where the ice sank
in the water. That's pretty strange, But is it something
we should be worried about. I'm not exactly sure what's
going on. Let's find out what happens next. After returning
to HQ with the very strange ice, Ava immediately got

(00:49):
to work looking at it under the microscope. She had
to act fast, though, before it melted and their evidence
was gone forever. So I'm dying to know, Ava said,
mister Jim, what do you see under there?

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Under where?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Jaden?

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Ava rolled her eyes and said, well, everything looks normal
under the microscope, except I don't know if the ice
does look more dense than I thought ice was supposed
to be. Uh, Jaden, can you pull up a sample
image of ice under a microscope on the big screen? Yeah,
I'm on it, Jaden sat down at the main desk

(01:30):
and his fingers flew across the keyboard and just a
few seconds had found a perfect microscopic image of ice. Yeah, awesome, Jaden.
All Right, so you see, as water gets colder, its
hydrogen bonds pushed further and further apart, said Ava, which
decreases the density of water. When the water becomes cold

(01:53):
enough to turn into ice, these hydrogen bonds are now
very far apart and less dense. Wow, that's really interesting, Ava,
I'm impressed, said mister Jim. Well, I'm glad mister Jim's impressed.
I'm just confused, said Jaden. Think about it like this, Jaden.

(02:14):
Mister Jim spun around in his chair and opened up
a drawer, pulled out a cotton ball and a marble. Okay,
so you see this cotton ball and marble, said mister Jim.
You're about the same size, right, Yes, agreed Jaden. But
which one do you think is heavier? The marble, of course,

(02:36):
said Jaden. You're right, the marble is heavier because it's
more dense than the cotton ball. Liquids, though, like water,
do a great job in visually showing us the difference
in densities. Mister Jim then dropped both the marble and
cotton ball in a glass of water. The marble sink

(02:57):
all the way to the bottom, but the cotton ball
floated on top of the water. It all then made
sense to Jaden. Oh, does that mean the marble is
more dense than the water and the cotton ball's floating
because it's less dense.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Than the water.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Jaden, for the wind, shouted Ava. Okay, so if ice
is supposed to float, but this one sinks. Is that
connected to what Ava saw under the microscope? Ava nodded
her head. Yes, that's what I'm thinking. There's something weird

(03:33):
with the hydrogen bonds. Let me grab some regular ice
out of the freezer. Hold on, I'll be right back.
So what's the big deal with this, mister Jim? Like,
who cares if ice sinks or floats? Why is that
concerning to us? You see in lakes and rivers and
ponds today the ice it freezes on top of the

(03:55):
surface of the water. But I've heard if ice sank
in the water, it would cause the entire piece of
water to freeze into ice with it. It's a good thing.
This is most likely just one lonely, strange piece of ice.
Ava was now looking under the microscope at the ice

(04:16):
from HQ's freezer and was shocked to see the results.
There's no way, said Ava.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
This ice.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
It looks the same look. She picked up the ice
off of the microscope slide and dropped it into a
glass of water, and all three of them watched in
terror as they saw it sank to the bottom. Ava, Jaden,
this is a true emergency. We need to split up

(04:45):
and see what's going on. Jaden. You sneak over to
doctor Stinkybread's house and see what they have going on there. Ava,
I'll need you to get on your jetpack spy on
the blimp. I have a bad feeling they're the ones
behind this. I'm gonna stay in the lab work on
reversing the process back to normal. Wait, mister Jim, were

(05:06):
you serious? If it sinks in the water, then everything
will freeze. Yes, Jaden, it's serious. All rivers, ponds, lakes,
and oceans are now in danger. We're running out of time.
Let's get to work back up in the Stinky Blimp lab.
The Purple Ninjas. We're releasing the snowflake gas that was

(05:27):
changing the molecular structure of both ice and water, which
allowed their stinky ice to sink to the bottom.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
All right, everything seems to be going pretty well with
this snowflake gas. The tikes are all full and we
have a nice steady stream of gas coming out the
back of the blimp. Let's hope Steve is doing his
job down there.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Sh.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Hey, Steve, are you still down by the river?

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Sh?

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Jump dive down by the bus down by the river.
And uh, what do you want me to do with
all this extra sticky ice?

Speaker 4 (06:08):
Sh? What do you mean extra? Just dump it all
in the river and lake.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Sh. I can't it's all frozen.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
Sh even the lake. Sh.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Yeah, I just got done drilling a hole through the ice,
but the ice goes all the way to the bottom.
It's like there's no more water. It's all frozen.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Sh.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Yeah. It doesn't make sense. It hasn't been cold enough
to freeze all the water. But they don't know. Something
doesn't seem right. I don't know. Ditch the sticky ice
somewhere and get back to the blimp. Now.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
As Ava was flying through the clouds and her jetpack
towards the blimp, she saw two things. First, she saw
a purple ninja slowly climbing up a rope from the
ground all the way up to the blimp. Wow, that
is a long climb. Second, she saw something attached to

(07:09):
the back of the blimp that was blowing out some
kind of smoke.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
Ew gross, said, Ava.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
That smells terrible. Oh, that must be a new addition
to the blimp. I should probably take care of that.
Ava plugged her nose, flew closer to where the smoke
was coming from, and kicked that canister off the back
of the blimp. It fell all the way down to
the woods below. SSH. Glad to get rid of that

(07:39):
stinky smoke machine. I'm gonna set a GPS marker on
its location so I can come back later and throw
it away. But while I'm up here, I should probably
spy through the windows on whoever is inside the blimp.
Ava started slowly climbing around the side of the blimp
that was still lying up in the clouds until she

(08:02):
would find a window where she could spy on whoever
was inside. Meanwhile, Jaden was on his way to doctor
Sinky Brett's house when he came across a giant pile
of ice cubes. He reached for his walkie talkie to
call it into HQ. Sh Hey, uh, mister Jim, I'm

(08:25):
right outside of doctor Stinkybread's property and there's a giant
pile of ice cubes in the middle of nowhere. It
looks like someone dumped them here intentionally. And oh they
smell horrible. Sh yeah, Jaden, that's pretty suspicious, especially with
everything going on. Just got off the phone with the

(08:45):
city and our fears were right. The river and lakes
are both completely frozen solid. It's starting to even damage
the water pipes. Sh smoke, smoke. I see smoke coming
from the woods and it smells terrible, shouted Jayden. I

(09:07):
don't know, mister Deema, I might need you to send
the fire department now. Sh okay, I'll get on the phone.
Jaydon Holy smokes, what a mess in the world is
going on? Sh oh wait, wait, wait, that smoke might
be me. Sh Ava, is that you? Why are you

(09:29):
trying to set the forest on fire? Sh no, no,
it's not a fire, it's some kind of stinky smoke.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Canister.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
I kicked off the back of the blimp. Sorry about that.
Shoo yep, I found it. I ran all the way
into the forest and wow that is Oh, it smells disgusting.
Sh Wait, hold on, I'm still outside the blimp and
I can hear them talking.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
Hey boss, I think we should stop what we're doing.
We're somehow completely raising all the water in the area.
We can't even put the sticky ice cubes and the
river anymore because it's completely frozen.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Well, this was supposed to be a surprise, but here
we go Pepple Ninjas surprise.

Speaker 4 (10:26):
I don't get it.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
I didn't sink you would. I discovered that by making
all's ice sink ins of water, it would freeze all
the water completely salid zeby throwing all the cities water pipes.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
In, killing or plant animal life in the water.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
Now that I know it's working, turn on the snowflake
gas to full power. One of the Purple Ninjas walked
over to a set of buttons and some dials, picked
one and turned it all the way to the right.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Eight error. Aerram says the canister is either empty or missing.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Stick your head out the window and double jack. After
having heard the whole conversation, Ava decided it was time
to blast off. She jumped off the side of the
blimp and flew away without being detected. The Purple Ninja
pushed the window open and it was very windy.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Ah, byes, I think it's I think it's gone. I
don't see anything back here.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
What's in zever are you talking about?

Speaker 3 (11:40):
That was the only one.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
All the chive I've done, they'll be pointless now Zavata
and Ice will return back to normal.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
Peaperinja.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Wow, great jobs by Biology squad. That was quite the mission.
I didn't know that if I sank in water that
it would turn into such a problem, but it's pretty
amazing that Ava was able to get rid of that
gas canister from the blimp to stop this giant mess.

(12:18):
Hopefully the city's water will return back to normal by
the end of the day. It's time for his Biology
