a little movie star, you know what I'm saying. But
but job I enjoyed, Yeah, I enjoy that. I enjoy
seeing the sacrifice that his daddy made, you know what
(12:56):
I'm saying, and his son being able to live off that.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying, Like, ye know, that's
that's a beautiful you.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Know him be able to come in as being my
daddy and doing it so job, you know what I'm saying,
and then venturing off to other stuff and we we
can see you doing it, Like I like the way.
I like that. I respect Fifty for doing that.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
You know, he paid for acting class. Ye know what
I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
He know that what I'm saying. That's the type of dude.
Like It's like, that's why I really didn't want to
say nothing about no no, no power in that because
I feel like he already did he put you know what.
I just felt like Fifty already and did what he's
supposed to did for me, like I'm not filing. I
don't ask no nigga for that.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
He watched this episode the story time of Legend a
j he go see it. He gonna put you on.
We're gonna talk that man.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
Because because get that change. Yeah, I couldn't stand on
Gigantic being the man. You know what I'm saying. And
I'm I'm trying to do that to.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Four little John walking in here right now, y'all.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Yeah cool, Yeah that big brother I was on my
big brothers.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
Yeah, that DTP situation. That was just something quick.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
Well, it was gonna be something like for an album,
but we did two big singles. I was on one
of the lots singles. Uh, everybody with me drunk as fuck?
You know what? I toured with Louder.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
Money in the bank was doing. Which era? Was that
fifty ludicrous?
Speaker 3 (14:24):
That's fifty fifty? Yeah, because was on the We did
that in Australia. You know what I'm saying. I was
saying it was on the Australian tour. You know what
I'm saying. That ship, That ship was amazing.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
Yeah, talking about women got one bone yeah, scatter back Yeah,
they was out there. Yeah, kronk ink. So you ventured
off early in the in the in that executive where
you was young.
Speaker 4 (14:52):
Yeah, that was the first of its kind.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Yeah, how would you say that? From from from an
early standpoint of sign up artists to you, you got
to see what it was like give an artist signed
to you and what comes with that?
Speaker 3 (15:06):
Yeah, pressure, pressure, pressure you.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
That's why I know you was able to look at
things different when it came to John when it came yeah, because.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
You know, but it's it's once you got the momentum,
that's good, But it's when you don't got the momentum.
What do you do? You know what I'm saying. And
I think artists failed to realize that how you came in,
you got to keep that ship going, you know what
I'm saying, Like how you were doing it by yourself
and want nobody there helping you. You gotta always be
like that, you know what I'm saying, Like the labor
(15:35):
is just a boost, like just a name, basically like
a machine.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
Yeah, this money, you know what.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
I'm saying, Like, but you have to do the work
that needs to be done to get you there. You
know what I'm saying. There's no money that can get
you there. I found that.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
It helps to have a lot though.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
It helps, It helps, It helps you got to help.
It helps the workhorse, Yeah, it helps the work.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
Put in that work.
Speaker 3 (16:04):
Yeah, it helps the work.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
A lot of artists want to sit back and be
like I'm signed.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
To Major, yeah, and I'm gonna do studio and then
I'm gonna cloth and ship the glitz like this ship
here for real to me? You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Crime, I've ever come to you and be like, man,
this was fucked up paperwork you gave us nigga, did
you ever have that won the one?
Speaker 3 (16:25):
I was the one that got them signed. I want
the one that signed them. See, I had a partner
when I did, you know what I'm saying, And he
was the one that signed them. I was the one
that got there walking through the door.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Okay, you know.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
What I'm saying. I was the artist, the artist CEO.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
Where he at?
Speaker 3 (16:42):
I have no idea?
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Okay, you know.
Speaker 5 (16:44):
I got early ozone magazines. I remember Scrappy was being
interviewed and he was saying like it was it was
princess and her brother was kind of handling the business
at that point.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
Well no, no, no, After after we got rid of him.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
I just thought, I I know who you're talking about.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
Yeah, buddy, that's why I'm thinking when I don't like
speaking on be on some court ship.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
Man gonna talk about buddy.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
But it was some it was some some funny ship
with under age girl.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
But yeah, i't and and it was just some ship
about like stealing money. Like I told you. That's why.
The same the same dude with my manager. And I
told you I wasn't even making that money.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
You know, Rob, I thought, Rob the other Yeah, Rob.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
No, he was just I mean, you people can only
do for me so much. Then they got to keep
doing what your manager. Yeah, and then we had crime
mom and then he missed up that play.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
So I was able one.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
And that's why I said where he I'm thinking he
talking about rock, you talking about Buddy.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
That's what he was, like, I have he said, niggas.
I had no idea.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
Because I'm like that man, like I like, I've seen
what but it had took all the kids publishing and stuff.
I was like, man, I gave them all they publishing that,
but I gave them all they publishing back, you know
what I'm saying. I went and I said, like, Ship,
I'm I'm I said, I'm an artist. What I want
with they publishing? I got my own publishing. I know
(18:16):
what I'm gonna do in life, that's you know what
I'm saying. So I did that. They can tell you that,
you know what I'm saying. And I'm like, other than that,
I can't be uh two homeboys like when they come
to their label, Ship like you're gonna go down, go down,
it's business, you know what I'm saying. But other than that,
like I gave them back they published I made a way.
I paid a way to where they can get in
(18:37):
the dough. You know what I'm saying, because I me
in Trivia was the first like damn the kids with
their crunch shit, you know what I'm saying. So they're like,
we had already opened the door. You made it with y'all.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
Being like packaged together, the way they y'all wrote it
were you.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
That's the way it helped. But that's but that's the
way it came. That's the way it happened. I don't.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
I mean, I thought it was I thought it was smart,
the way y'all was packaged together.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
And then able to go yeah, yeah, I mean that's
the way. That's the way we came though, even though
I was the one with the bigger name, you know
what I'm saying, because.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
I had already been around with established and.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
I had already been going, Yeah, but like my little show,
my little free shows that stacked on top of John
little show that I was doing with John in the
arenas and the clubs and ship going to after parties,
cranking that bitch up like every opportunity I could, I'm
grabbing the mic doing that ship and to wear master
(19:32):
Pep walking up to me like what a little scrap
And I'm like, what uh ship that I just dapted up?
And like that ship was your regular for I'm like,
what's up, my nigga? Like we're going on? You know
what I'm saying? So yeah, you know what I'm saying.
I'm like, dang niggas know me. I'm sitting at the
Source Awards behind Russell Simmons and Russell Simmons turning around
like what up, John? What else scrap is going on?
(19:52):
I'm like, what up? What Russ was going on? Some
real Russ somebody telling her about like you know what
I'm saying about political with man? I really got man. Yeah,
(20:13):
that's exactly.
Speaker 4 (20:15):
Definitely with the phone.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
He definitely had the churt. Then I had that churt.
Next churt, motherfucker.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
H h hey, man, take take all all your personal
everything out, just strictly music.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
Who the Kings of crop? Who the King of Crocks?
Is a little John? Is a three six moth?
Speaker 3 (20:48):
Take all the personal ship Outah?
Speaker 2 (20:50):
Is it John? Or is the three six moth?
Speaker 3 (20:54):
That's a hard question, right man, That's way that's a
hard question.
Speaker 2 (20:58):

in the crowd was just man, everybody, everybody out and
(21:26):
then next thing you know, they brought fucking Luda out. Nigga.
That that that ship they had with Buddha. I'm so
true to smoking and stinking Buddha. And I'm talking about
when he came Nigga, when he came out the crowd,
I said, the ship used to be waving. I ain't
talking about like like water. I'm talking about motherfuckers in
that bitch, like that ship. I mean, you just see
(21:48):
so many motherfuckers and motherfuckers just in that bitch, just
going the same way and just crunching, pushing motherfuckers. I'm
talking about, like bro, I don'm been in the crowd.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
I had to ask somebody who you was you're talking about.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
I haven't been in there fighting off Trip or six
nigga would have been in the hood club nigga before
that bounced nigga. Ever happened when it was to the club,
to the club when when it was uh, what's the
one ship? When when rest in peace gainsto she was
on top of the car. Yeah, running running, God my nigga,
like when I was in high school, nigga. When I

Speaker 5 (41:21):
So we're celebrated fifty years of hip hop and most
recently we were at the Atlanta Falcons. Fifty years of
hip hop. You guys were invited, got jerseys with you.
You got to be on the field.
Speaker 2 (41:31):
Man.
Speaker 5 (41:32):
What was that like to get that call and be
invited and to be amongst your peers and what did
you think about that experience?
Speaker 3 (41:37):
It was amazing. Even though I wanted to turn it
down at first, I'm like why, I'm like, y'all under
me and everybody else like, yall want you, y'all go
on the met y'all on.
Speaker 2 (41:49):
You got to put your ego.
Speaker 3 (41:50):
No about that. We talked about Broke, I had put
it to the side. I'm like, man, you know this
this fifty years only gonna happen probably one time, you know. Yeah,
you know so I said, I'm gonna go ahead and
take my flowers while they can give it to me.
And it was big, man, It was the most like
the greatest show on earth. Man. I seen all the
(42:11):
rappers that I united, man like, it felt like a
big family union. And I'm like, man, can't no city
go against us when it comes to them? People like them?
People I was on the field with that was all
nobody sucking it when it comes to rappers, bro Like,
y'all can act all day and be like, oh, y'all

Speaker 3 (42:39):
It was crazy that it was.
Speaker 4 (42:41):
It was a great night for you, man.
Speaker 3 (42:44):
The only thing I felt salty about that one because
I had my ego up, you know what I'm saying.
Because because everybody me triving the crime ma puld have
had our own set, you know what I'm saying. And
then when John come in, they're like, oh, y'all just
gotta do one song. I was like, hey, bro, I'm

I put my ego down and did what was best
for the whole city culture. You know what I'm saying.
He had a lot of appreciate that he had a
lot of people he was bringing out that he wanted
to bless the city with.
Speaker 4 (43:28):

Speaker 5 (43:44):
Most recently Nas who was a NAS and Steve Stout
honored rock him and Scarface, two artists you know, legendary
gave him flowers two hundred and fifty thousand dollars on
their legacy and everything like that. But if they were
to ask Scrappy the name two artists that are deserving
of that next year, who are two names that you
(44:04):
will put up there be deserving of, you know, that
kind of accolade that that didn't get the credit they deserve,
you know, And they asked, Scrappy, you know who you
think we should be honoring next year. And it doesn't
have to be a lineup, but if it is, you
know who would you kind of put in the box?
Speaker 4 (44:18):
Whose names? Two artists would you dropping that box?
Speaker 3 (44:22):
Mm hmm, I say Joe de Brees.
Speaker 1 (44:28):
J one of the dopest Lyricists' Man, I'm talking about
we're going to play so slight powerful power.
Speaker 3 (44:36):

Speaker 3 (45:07):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying. So like I feel
like I be wanting to let them them people be
known because like we'll be forgetting all the ones that
help we do kind of patch this thing together. You
know what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (45:18):
Dope, dope, so great answering last year.
Speaker 3 (45:21):
I want to add a third one, Just to add
a third one, Go ahead, Pat Pools. Yeah, I want
to add Pat Pools because Pat Pool is one of
the most lyrical the go I know, and he don't
get the credit that he don't that he deserved, and
I feel like he should be somewhere else too.
Speaker 1 (45:37):
And I try, I try not to judge people through
social media without knowing the person. But from what I see,
like I said, it's hard, he seemed like just a
real stand.
Speaker 3 (45:45):
Up ass, real solid man, real solid.
Speaker 1 (45:48):
I mean, like I said, I don't know the dude person,
Pat Pool seems like he's just a stand up That's
what I get.
Speaker 3 (45:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (45:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (45:55):
And lastly, Detroit just did a welcome home party for
forty two dougs.
Speaker 3 (45:59):
Great foot this city.
Speaker 4 (46:00):
Everybody put up jeezy little baby.
Speaker 5 (46:02):
But for me being from Detroit, one of the greatest
things that they did was have an east Side Detroit
you know, which was Baby Ray, Ice, Weeb, Doug and
versus west Side dough Boy's Cash Shout payroll those.
Speaker 4 (46:14):
Guys like that.
Speaker 5 (46:15):
So imagine if we took this concept in Atlanta, right,
and we said east side Atlanta versus west side Atlanta.
Speaker 4 (46:21):
We picked three artists on east Side who you think
got Atlanta.
Speaker 5 (46:27):
We just took the best of east Side Atlanta, in
the best of the West Side Atlanta. Which side would
you once be a part of or celebrate?
Speaker 3 (46:34):
You got the east Side ship.
Speaker 4 (46:41):
So he's a little biased. Maybe you know who got it?
Speaker 3 (46:45):
Who got it now?
Speaker 2 (46:47):
And we'll go with that period.
Speaker 5 (46:49):
It's fifty years of hip hop and when Atlanta got
thirty of them.
Speaker 3 (46:53):
I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say right now, we're gonna
have his own full. You know what I'm saying. That
little baby like man coming out to see like a
little buddy got that thing. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (47:10):
So we got that thing.
Speaker 5 (47:11):
You know what I'm saying this So man, well, thank
you for coming. Thank you always being sold.
Speaker 1 (47:18):
