Speaker 1 (00:04):

little bit rougher. I'm here for it. Those who really
believed in the American process, all of us street shot
no chase with your girl Tessom figure out on the
Black Effect Podcast Network. Welcome to tell you, guys, tell

(00:27):
some figure on the Black Effect Podcast Network. I'm excited
to once again give you content. Please make sure you subscribe, follow,
ask somebody to follow. Guys who've been rocking this out
for five years. I am eternally grateful for Charlemagne opening
up this platform and allowing me to be one of
his day ones. I'm not grateful on how it gives

(00:48):
me a hard time in the group chat, y'all. Every
day in the group chat is something that we was
going back and forth yesterday. So shout out to my brother.
You don't think me and Charlamagne still be going back
and forth. Absolutely do. But that's my brother Iron shopping's Iron.
But again, make sure you ask five people to come
join us as well. The podcast is one thing, guys

(01:09):
that I am going to keep consistently on camera. Not
so much not really a big fan. I do it
because I have to do it. I try to tap
in every now and then get a nice little season
at Revolt, do some interviews. But guys, I am really
about audio that I know that's a smaller crowd. It
doesn't go viral, doesn't do all the things that people

(01:29):
like you know, like to be seen and all of that.
But I am all about the audio learning because I
believe that's where you make the most impact. So I
want to welcome you to the show. I also want
to welcome my private studio audience that is here listening
to the show. I in bite it. Make sure that
you are on my broadcast channel. If you go to
my Instagram at Teslim figure o, there is it says

(01:52):
Teslim Figureo. What does it say Marcella's news channel News bureau. Yeah,
news bureau, Okay, news bureau. Make sure you got gus
sign up for that. I don't bombard you with things
because I don't want to run you off. I think
we have about almost five thousand people in that private chat,
And what allows me to do is send you links.
You know, when I'm posting stuff on Instagram, I can't

(02:13):
send you a link. So it allows me to send
you a link that goes directly to your DM. Every
now and then I may send you something i'm working
on with Revolt, but I try not to overwhelm you.
But I dropped this link in there this morning and say, hey, guys,
I want to have a live audience while I'm talking,
because you know I'm a Boulet preacher. I love to
have an audience while i'm talking, no disrespect. Marcella's is

(02:34):
a good audience, y'all. Y'all show some love to Marcella's.
But I do like to have other people in the room,
so make sure you subscribe to that, because I'm going
to start doing the show that way. I can only
have about ten people on because I refuse to pay
for the upgraded package because I'm just cheap like that.
So when I drop it in, about eight of y'all
can come on over and you're welcome. I don't want
to say any names because everybody may not want people

(02:54):
to know they listen and why they pretending to work,
But we do have about ten of us watching it.
If you guys want to jump in and chime in
during the podcast, absolutely do so. Just be aware that
it is on Black and Fai podcast network. iHeart Radio
the largest audio platform in the world, So shout out
to iHeart. We're going to get into it. I want

(03:15):
to do a couple of church announcements first, because you're
going to continue to keep hearing this my push the
line training. Guys, I don't understand why y'all not in
the class. If y'all not in the class, what's happening,
what's going on? Come to the class. The first class
starts June fourteenth. You will not be disappointed. The first
one is called We Are Soldiers. It talks about roles

(03:35):
and responsibilities for candidates operatives, which is campaign workers, organizers,
and activists. Guys, you literally have nothing to lose. Literally,
you're going to learn so much. Whether you want to
work in politics or not, these are the things that
you need to know to understand people's role, understand how
they work together. Just to give you some insight, and

(03:56):
of course I give y'all extra game, I drop tea.
I'll tell y'all what it is is, what it should be,
what it ain't. So definitely enrolling that class, guys is
live interactive June fourteenth, two hours with me. But guess
what Marcellos even if they can't attend the June fourteenth class.
I'm gonna test martest sellers knowledge. Now, let's see if

(04:16):
you need what happens after that? Marcellis, well, you know,
don't you planned on having more? You're struggling, y'all. And
the people know the people who if they ain't rolling
the class. Now, y'all, it's supposed to be my right hand.

(04:37):
Y'all there and see it for like I think you said,
like thirty days or six where you got the day's wrong.
But go ahead, Marcelle, we need Marsells on top of day, y'all.
What's wrong with pot? Marcellis no, But if you're rolling
the class, you still can go back and watch the replay.
You still can watch the replay, so you are not
losing your money at all. I know it's a lot

(04:57):
of scammers in the in the bill. You know, online,
what am we paying this fifty dollars for? I get that, guys,
don't worry about it. After June fourteenth, the class will
be available online. I'm gonna start marketing that like crazy,
to tell people to go back and watch the replay
so you don't have to worry about wondering what you're
getting for your fifty dollars. In fact, the replay may
be better for many of you because you can stop
and start it, and rewind it, and you know, go

(05:19):
back and forth. So and in case, just because somebody
asked me, is yes, they saying if they were in
the live class, so they still get the replay. Yes,
you still get to watch the replay that stays in
your course course dashboard forever. Guys. So I am allowing
Course one to stay viewable forever those who purchased it.
That means I know Marcell's y'all gonna be sending links

(05:41):
to y'all friends like y'all do Netflix. You ain't trust me,
I'm not worried about it. I'm hoping that whoever you
share it with, they come over to the rest of
the classes. Now Course two through five, just because I
know how y'all like to get down those courses want
to be available sixty days after it posts, because I
just can't have all of course is sitting out there forever.
So make sure you're in course one. Every course it's

(06:06):
cumulative to the next, meaning one goes with two, three, four,
and five. You are not going to get more game
than what I am giving you in these five courses.
I swear to God, Marcellus, you intended to push the
line in person in Atlanta. Can you give some feedback? Oh?

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Yeah? So when I went, I ain't know what I wanted.
I didn't know which track I wanted to do. I
end up doing well. I was gonna do organized. Then
I end up switching to being an operator. Yeah, it was.
I think it was very knowledgeable. I end up staying
with Christy the whole time. I learned a lot of stuff.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
CHRISTI upposed to be just as a pin in that
Christy because guys, I had we had three hundred people
from all of the country that came to my in
person class. So, just so you guys know, I rote
all the course curriculum, but we had I had two
other trainers, but three of the trainers were me, who
is still with me today. We broke out in sessions,
one for candidates, one for organizers, one for activists, and

(07:07):
Marcellis was in the organizer class where people were hopping around,
you know, from class to class. I was going in
every single class making sure today were one point, making
sure I provided feedback. It was an amazing, amazing experience.
So Marcella's is talking about Christy who is also training
our black history class. Shout out today, randobclause for that.
Go sign up on the Push the Line on tessimfigure

(07:29):
dot com. This is a training group, guys. It's not
just push the line. Push the Line as one program
five programs, but I will have about twenty five different
sessions that you can enroll in by the end of
spring next year. And Christy is training the Black History
class online, so make sure you enrolling that. She's so good.
The National Geographic has sponsored her to train it in person,

(07:50):
and I said, Christy, we got to get this online
because we need our folks, you know, to watch it
in this class. I'm absolutely encouraging. God the proceeds go
to build her program. But that's the kind of class
you want to bring your kids around. Put it on
the you know, on the TV, and y'all sit around
and get this game. Please support it. I'm being very
honest with you. Her program is funded right now in Oklahoma,

(08:13):
in a city in a state that has every single
county votes Republican. We just posted a post the other
day that only in Oklahoma. They are now teaching in
the schools, Donald Trump's conspiracy on the election being stolen.
So we cannot support Christy enough because many of y'all
in liberal states and ain'd as shit. Christy is in

(08:34):
a conservative state that is very much against black history.
She started this program on all the books that were banned, guys,
and so I want to make sure that we're doing
our part to put some resources that she is in
control of, not just funded a man. Put a five
inn thee chatter. Y'all feel what I'm saying, So please,
I think now we have right now, you can just
sign up the show that you're interested. Go on my

(08:56):
up page Tellemfigo dot com, go to the training page
see Christie's class available. Sign up for that saying hey,
I want to know more about that. When it gets gone,
we're gonna do a gun I think June fourteenth or
something like that. I did not start charging for the class, guys,
because I know y'all think it's a scam. I'm already
charging for my first one, and so I'm waiting Marcella's
for that class to post, you know, so people can

(09:18):
know it's not a scam. And then we'll start posting
you know, Christie's class, So I just want to put
a pin in that, So go ahead with your feedback,
then we'll get to today's show. Yeah, it was, you know,
pretty much.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
I would say, like a lot of like you said,
a lot of people were jumping between classes, and I
did kind of go into Vanessa.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Vanessa's class was teaching candidates. That's counseling Vanessa right right.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
I see her class was very very.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Engage.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Shall I say, I didn't give it. I didn't really
give a chance to like like staying her class like that.
But I see they was very very ngay, it was
very loud and asking a lot of questions stuff like that.
So people were really you know, engaging and excited about
making a change.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
And I was one of those people too, and Marcela
with me. Ever since I can't get rid of them,
like and I'll love them for it. And guys, we
are going to do some in person classes. Were absolutely
gonna do some in person class, but we have to
build up the virtual business first, guys, because it's very
expensive for me to come to a city. And so

(10:27):
if I get this virtue, if you got to support this,
then I can go in my pocket and say, okay, guys,
we'll do it in person class and you know, fifty
people can pay a reasonable rate, you know, and we
can be done with it. That class, guys, to host
the class almost costs one hundred thousand dollars. I'm just
telling you what it is. We every It was completely free.
Three We fed you all three times, ourselves, going up

(10:47):
and back and forth, back and forth, getting placed all day.
We had snacks. It was in a beautiful hotel. That
stuff really really costs. So I don't want to I
don't want to have to begging nobody for the money.
I don't want to sponsors, No donors. We want to
keep this real clean. A man put a five in
the chat. No, it's the reason why you don't see
me connecting with a lot of people, guys, because when

(11:09):
the beds start knocking on people's doors in the next
two three years, we want to make sure we're clean.
Shout after Sheryl Walker in the building, who's in the audience.
Been rocking on me since two thousand and eight in Orlando, Florida.
My name is my name. My license plate checks out
in Orlando, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Atlanta. These
are all cities that I've lived in. LA. I'm the

(11:31):
same always. I will remain teslim figure over and nain't
none of y'allers take my law LICENSEOL. So we don't
want to have to be desperate and you know, need
people to sponsor. Then when they sponsor, they say, well,
you know, all you got to do is put our
name on it as well, and all that's okay. We're
cool with all of that. So, which is what today's
show is about. Guys. The political class is in shambles.

(11:53):
Somebody in the comments turned to your neighbor and say,
in shambles. The political class is in shambles. Why shabbers?
And what I mean by that? It means that they
are running around trying to figure out what to do
with you, and I love it. I want the Lord
to have his way, I really really do. I'm okay

(12:13):
with it all being taken down and built back up.
The gatekeepers have effectively been gatekep. The gatekeepers have been
effectively gay kept. Well what do you mean by that telling? Well,
what I mean is because I know we love to
talk about Trump, but I know we love talk about
what the Republicans are doing. I know we like took
it back, but I want to talk about Do you mind,

(12:36):
y'all if I talk a little bit about what these
black folks been doing and how they've been getting these
contracts a year over year over year over year over year.
Do you remember my poem? And if you don't, I
guess I need to repost it. I did a poem
in twenty fifteen. I think you heard it Marcella's you
Wouldn't Rock with Me two down fifteen, but I think
I sent it to you. It's called Blackout twenty sixteen. Yeah,

(12:58):
and they's as well. And I talked about how you
lied and now they know you even crowing my float.
You came we able, you gave crumbs when you finally
got at the tablet. Oh yeah. And so what has
happened Cheryl? This is why I love an audience. Y'all

(13:18):
know I'm a preacher, y'all. What has happened, Cheryl is?
And I'm talking to my audience. For those who are listening,
and you want to get an audience, come on in
the audience. And for those in the audience, if you
want to come on up and give a testimony, put Tis.
I got something to say in the comments. What has happened,
Cheryl is when I prophesized this. I wish somebody knew
about prophecy when I prophesized this in twenty fifteen. Here

(13:42):
we are on the ten. Now, Cheryl knows I believe
in the tin. I've been talking about the ten for
a very very long time. Cheryl knows this. I've been
talking about ten for a minute. That's why when God
gave me the vision in Orlando, the three hundred employee,
Cheryl was one who's in the audience, the three hundred employee,
the three hundred volunteers like Gideon's army. And they said, well, Teslam,

(14:03):
this is what the politics said. Teslam, you could just
keep using them as volunteers. I said, I don't want
to do that, Marcello's I want to actually get them paid.
Here we are the recession, and I think they're worthy
enough to get paid. So God blessed me with a
contract with the Amway Center. On ten ten, twenty ten
October tenth, twenty ten, ten people started at the Amway Center.
Sheryl Walker is one. See I've always believe in ten.

(14:28):
You know why, because ten means complete. That's why Fayroh
was told ten times to let my people go. That's
why there's ten commandments. So I'm not confused on why.
In twenty fifteen, when I said, you lied, and now
they know you eating crow with my flow, when I

(14:49):
said I am building national camaraderie, I am cloning this moment. Ooh,
they didn't know what that meant. Marcello's. When I said
I'm cloning this, this moment casket closing political poetry, I'm
the coldest cloning. Then I'm making a Marcellus in this moment.

(15:09):
I don't know who Marcello's is, but in this moment,
as I speak these words, he's gonna come forward. And
here we are in twenty twenty five that the political
class that I was talking about in twenty fifteen, they
are now being exposed for the sinners that they are.
I wish a few of y'all went in saw centers

(15:29):
so you could know what I'm talking about. Oh, it's
real obvious, Marvena, that I could talk about the white
supremacy and the white folks in centers and how it
was the white folk. Yeah, we got all that. That's
the easy, the obvious that's the obvious. Let's talk about
the ten people that was in the house. Let's talk

(15:51):
about who was supposed to be outside and who was
supposed to be inside. Let's talk about how my twin,
even though he looked like me, he's not of me.
And believe if I had some believers, maybe y'all know
what I'm talking about. I guess we ain't got no believers.
See looking like me, looking like an angel? Aint enough

(16:11):
I need to do. Like on the movie center, let's
pass the gard look around, and let's see who really
is who they say they are right? And so what
has happened, guys, is the political class love him to death.
Ain't nothing wrong? When they don't know no better. They
don'et set up here. You remember what that one hundred
million I keep telling you about that they set up
here and many many elections they got paid. And I

(16:35):
watched them do this in Orlando back in twenty ten
when I left the political party, because this is all
new to y'all. Before Donald Trump started running for office,
I knew something wasn't making sense. And when they would
bypass us and you didn't want to pay the grassroots
and you want to pay everybody else, and y'all got
high off y'all contracts, y'all got all y'all money. And

(16:56):
then the last election when one hundred million came down,
that when the gatekeepers got gate kept and they didn't
even get their money. So now what you see them
doing is running around in shambles, trying to get credibility
on the grass roots and the street level, trying to
let the Democrat Party know, oh no, no, no, we
still got pulled. And the streets and the grass roots

(17:18):
is pushing back because black women are saying they resting.
Black women are saying, get somebody else to do it.
Black women are saying, no, no, no, y'all said, y'all
got it, So show us if y'all got it. Black women,
black men, black voters are saying, let's just go through,
let the levees break, and let's just see what they do.

(17:44):
And so now the political cast I've noticed, the same
political class that was telling y'all the rest is now
trying to switch up the narrative and make it seem like,
oh no, no, no, the people they're engaged. You know
why they're doing that, because they're trying to convince the
deed see that they got the power because they want
them contracts. I'm just telling y'all what it is, because

(18:06):
if you was really with us, you would have been
I would be able to go back the last ten, fifteen,
twenty years to show that you was really rocking with it.
You wasn't trying to engage us then, so why are
you trying to engage us now? It ain't because all
of a sudden, there's this rude awakening. Then all of
a sudden, Oh yeah, now, guys, we realize we need
to all be together. I'm calling CAP. I'm calling Cap.

(18:28):
We needed to be together. Then, why you didn't have
us together?

Speaker 2 (18:31):
Then?

Speaker 3 (18:32):
No, Now them contracts got cut off.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
I want y'all to be clear about what happened. Them
contracts got cut off. And now you want to bring
me inside. Oh yeah, well now, oh no, that's okay.
We gonna keep it over here because Cheryl been watching
me since two thousand and eight, and somebody need to
be consistent. And many of them, Marcella's maybe they did
have a rude awakening, and I'm glad they did. They
that's fine, but we're gonna stay over here though. We're

(19:05):
gonna stay in the house with the stake of truth.
I can't really trust you telling me to come outside.
We all the same, because according to the movie Centis,
I got to protect my neck. Somebody say, protect my neck,
protect my neck. Rest in peace to George Floyd, because
I've been seeing y'all with my foot, with your foot
on our neck for far too long. So it's kind

(19:26):
of confusing to me that now, all of a sudden,
you want me and Marcellus to come out the house,
when we've been in the house the whole time, and
now all of a sudden, you're telling me that we're
just the same. And I'm supposed to believe you because
you're my twin and we look alike. Now that's okay.
I think we just gonna protect the neck. So that's
what push the Line training is about, guys, giving you
the resources that you need to make a difference on

(19:46):
your local and state level. It ain't about me trying
to get no clout to say I got y'all, I
got y'all to do this, got y'all to do that.
I want to give you the tools because yes, the
work is still required. Please don't confuse what I'm saying
on the political class. The work is still required, but
I need you to know that you have the power.
They need you, you don't need them. I need you

(20:09):
to know that you can make the difference on the
local level. I need you to know that they are
looking for you, and don't be confused when they tell
you come on out and join us. If it don't
feel right, it ain't right. If it don't look right,
it ain't right. Let them still organize. Don't let them
talk you in the when we all got to be together, well,
why you wasn't together? A little something may't make in sense.

(20:32):
Don't let the enemy confuse you on the gift God
gave you. Don't let them make you think that you
need a lot of them to make a difference. Before
we started the show, I was telling the real time
story Sheryl Walkers in the comments right now, No baby,
I did this. If I can do it soaking you.
If I did it with a baby on my hip
in Orlando, with nobody knowing me, no family, going through

(20:54):
a divorce in a recession, making two and twenty dollars
a week, with unemployment, with my baby on my hip.
I organized the people by myself, and God sent me
help shut out to Sheryl Walker. Still, why is she's
still around Marcella twenty twenty five. She could have easily
went on. Something went on about a visit. The Lord

(21:16):
sent me, see, he said, Moses, he sent a communicator.
Moses said, I didn't know what to do. He said,
don't worry about it. I'll send you a commit He
sent a ron. So when I was overwhelmed and didn't
wasn't expecting every my words to resonate, he sent me
people to help me. He sent me Marcella's. He sent
me Cheryl. He sent me a handful to help you

(21:36):
get the job done. And I need y'all to know
that if you're thinking about running for office, if you're
thinking about working on a campaign, if you're thinking about
being an organizer and activists, and you're sitting saying, how
can I do it? Because I'm just by myself? Can
I tell you that He's gonna send you somebody and
it probably ain't gonna be your mama, your cousin, your friend.
I give y'all real training. See, I've been to all

(21:58):
that other training. The Congressional Black Cars, Go Run Lead
a Yell campaign, School for Women, White House Project, I've
been to it all and they all tell y'all. All
y'all got to do is ask your family and ask
your friends. They gonna be your bout see. Come to
your homegirl class. Because your home we are gonna tell
you ain't none of I'm gonna show up, like I
told Marcellus when Marcella got mad because he couldn't get

(22:19):
them to come to the Push the Line training, got mad,
went live and said, if you don't come to the train,
I'm cutting you off as friends. I said, let your
friends be your friends. They are not set to do
this work. You only want to work with the people
who are set to do this work. Get in my training.
One of the things that I love about my training
is the course dashboard, the community dashboard, that you can

(22:42):
network with each other. You can find your a ron.
It is not going to be somebody close to you.
It is going to be a stranger that you did
not know that can help you. Virtually. When I put
out a survey and I said how many want to
run for office? How many I want to work on campaigns?
Very few people say they want to work on campaigns.

(23:03):
And I'm guessing ourselves because people think, well, you know,
I need to be tapped for that. I need to
have experience for that, or I don't know anybody who's running.
Can I tell you you don't need experience? Can I
tell you I'm going to give you the tools. Once
we do these five core fundamental classes, then I'm gonna
roll out elective classes how to manage your campaign, how
to manage your campaign, manager of candidate, how to manage

(23:24):
the field virtually, how to be a schedule. I'm going
to give you the tools, and then I'm gonna let
candidates know, Hey, y'all, it's people over ready to work.
And no, I'm not charging them anything to refer for
me to refer them to you. I'm not getting in that.
I'm also just for candidates who are listening, including those
in my class. I'm not endorsing shit, so let me

(23:45):
put that on the table right now. Don't mean that too.
I mean that I'm not endorsing nothing. I ain't run
get behind my No, I ain't working on your campaign.
I'm not doing none of that. It just have to
be that way, guys, because I ain't going to jail
with y'all. Somebody push you in, but I will give
you the tools that you need. I will train your team,

(24:08):
but I won't be posting nothing, none of that. I
will give you the tools like I gave Christy the tools.
Christy was my trainee, then she became the trainer, and
now she has a very successful program. Like I said,
Black History Saturdays. She has taken those tools and made
it do what to do. So I will give you
the tools, but don't ask me, and don't get mad

(24:29):
about it, and don't sit up and say, y'all gonna
hear me say it over? No, Cheryl, No, I will
repeat this repeatedly. I'm good for that. Just a quick story.
Quick story, Marcella's let's bring Cheryl U because people don't
think we lying. They gonna think I'm just talking to you.
We got Cheryl in the background. She's now added to
the stage. They tried it when we brought the three

(24:49):
hundred people at the Urban League. And you know how, guys,
I keep repeating this over and over and over and over,
and y'all say, dang, why should repeat it over and over? Why?
I do that for a reason because I know y'all
like to try it. I know y'all like to try
it and say what Tessa never said it. I was confused.
I didn't know what the fifty dollars was for. I
didn't know I had access to it, you said. I've
been doing this a long time. I worked at the
first and third largest staffing firm in the world. I

(25:11):
know how y'all like to lie. I come from the streets.
I got military. You ain't too much. You're gonna get
over on me. So the reason why I repeat over
and over because I know y'all like to try it. So,
just as a quick story one of the things I did,
and I'm giving y'all tips. This is what y'all gonna
learn as organizers. You want to repeat over and over
and over and over. You want to give people many
many times to get the information. You may have noticed

(25:33):
that if you're on my push line train. I've sent
out several emails saying, hey, guys, if you got any questions,
let me know. I also have a tutorial available for
people to watch the tutorial. I also have an FAQ available.
I got plenty of ways to ask questions because what
they'll do, Cheryl like when they tried it as the
Urban League and set up there, and I set up
there because I had to organize three hundred people by

(25:54):
myself and we only had three weeks to do it.
So every day I told people, come online, God, we
just have a conference call. Then we wasn't using zone.
This was two thousand and eight, and I had a
conference call open every day for people to come on
and ask questions. Guys. I literally was sitting there breastfeeding
every day by myself. And by the way, I wasn't
paid to do this. I did it all for free.

(26:16):
That's why I don't abody want hear nothing talk about
what y'all ain't got time to do. And with y'all
y'all y'all stressed out. Anyway, I sat there every day
and set on their conference call every day for one
hour for people to come on and ask quest manytime,
I just sit there by myself. So then when we
got there and they tried it, and Cheryl was there
and everybody was there, and somebody said raise her hand

(26:37):
and said, well I never got the information. I said,
oh no, no, no, no you did. I said, how
many here heard me get information? Cheryl? She paid it,
like you, Marcella, so she loves saying oh no, no, no,
we got the information. Am I telling the truth, Cheryl,
she got an unmut phone, y'all, Cheryl, she would just
add her into the show. Cheryl, I got you on live. Baby,

(26:59):
Am I telling the truth? How when they tried it?
I don't know, Cheryl can hear us? Cheryl will wait
on how to get her phone together, But they tried
it also. I do the same method with the Secret
Service with the people that was over the Urban League.
When I said, you better make sure my people eat.

(27:21):
I don't want to come here and catch nan chicken
wing passed out until my team eat. And they tried it,
and I said, Cheryl, baby you there, Cheryl, I got
you on the show, sweetheart, Yes, I'm here. Love. Remember
when they tried it with the Urban League. Cheryl was

(27:42):
there for all of every time they ever tried it, y'all,
every single time.

Speaker 3 (27:48):
Then.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
And I and I have to say, and I don't
know if I ever said it, but during that time
A Littensau mentioned that we were in a recession. Those
hate opportunities satan because I was one of the thousands
and thousands that got laid off every bed, so that
may be spiral for me to hit people move forward
my head. Yes, thank you Cheryl for saying that, and

(28:11):
I appreciate that. Guys with Cheryl is talking about at
that particular time when I started my law law firm,
started my staffing firm, it was literally in a recession.
I got laid off. I got laid off at a
DECO and I couldn't get another job in staffing because
it wasn't nobody hiring nobody because it was a recession. Guys,
my staffing firm was not only a blessing to me,
but so many others. And I'm talking about high qualified

(28:33):
people from PhDs to CEOs to former Cheryl has big
experience in insurance. I believe your background is still insurance. Correct,
she's muting on and off, but I think it for
being a part of the show. But we had everybody,
from people that just got out of jail, from people
who were living in shelters, everybody, and it was very,

(28:54):
very important that people had an opportunity to make that
part time money, which is why in twenty eleven when
I challenge the NBA when the NBA was going through
a lockout, and Buddy Dyer, who was the mayor at
the time, told me not to say anything at all
and I said, I got it. He said, well, the
city's still getting paid. I say, yeah, but my people
still got to get paid. And so that's when I
challenged them and you can go look it up called
assist the bench chest and figure out. And I challenged,

(29:16):
y'all need to do something about this. We got to
figure this out. So not only did my employees get
taken care of what at least resources to help them
through through that season, but so did the other fifteen
hundred that worked at the Amwaight that were not under
my leadership. I give y'all these stories, guys, not to brag,
but to show you what leadership looks like. And I'm here,

(29:37):
I'm just in the background, Okay, no problem tweeting to
show you what leadership looks like. I used to wait
on them to try it. I used to encourage them
to try it. They go from Tom Joyner. I remember
one time when Tom joined because we's the organized volunteers
for him as well, and they joked about will y'all
not gonna get eat today? And I remember my team said, old, no, baby,

(29:59):
don't come there playing with telm like that. She'll shut
this down. In fact, Marcellus, I used to train them
on how to get up all at one time. I say, y'all,
I want y'all to know how to get up all
at one time, just in case they tried. Look, but
I said, y'all get it. This is how we're gonna
do it. When I raised my hand, y'all, remember by
Malcolm X deal with his hand. I used to train
my people on make sure when I do my hand
like this, everybody get up at the same because they

(30:20):
got to know we mean business and we ain't playing
with you. You were to really enjoyed it, Marcella. I'm telling
it was petty central. I wish y'all would black enterprise.
You tried it. You thought you was gonna sit up
here and everybody was gonna eat, and my people and
were working for free, and all I asked you to
do is give the tickets and give us sandwich. And

(30:42):
you think your people gonna eat first and my people
ain't gonna eat. Oh no, baby, I was at home.
The true story, guys, I was breastfeeding. I couldn't even
get a ride to come down or to meet my people.
I told Todd, who was my right hand He was
my marcellas at the time, I said, go down to
the gate. Everybody's pulling in. That's coming that littell and
background because they said they don't need us. Let me
find out that another chicken wing get past that my

(31:04):
people ain't eat. Let me find out. Oh no, it's
we must have been confused. And yeah, you shure damn
right was confused. Love it. I did it with black enterburn.
I don't care about saying the names. I did a
black enterprise. I told Tom Jordan, you better not tried.
You know who I really try, the witness. It's gonnaally
hurt y'all feelings. You know who really learned the lesson
of all lessons? My favorite who changed my life, Bishop TDJS.

(31:29):
Oh yes, the path the pastors can learn. See, that's
what leadership look like. Mar Marvna. I know y'all get
confused when leadership look like, but don't worry about it.
Tell him figure out here. I may help you to
do what leadership look like. I told them Marcella's I
don't want none of my people because you know, I
had a plethora of people working for me, and I said,

(31:50):
I don't want Oh, y'all love dropping names south end
y'all tell South End in the comments welcome home, tell
them myself, welcome home. We love dropping what we do.
That's what we do. Drop the names, first last name,
all that right, and Bishop guys, I went to Dallas.

(32:13):
I was a member of Potter's House before Potter's House
was Potter's House in nineteen ninety eight, before it became
a makeature. Bishop got me through some of my most
toughest times in my life. But do you think that
made him off limits Marcellus, which you.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
Can say, Hell no, Bill mall.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
Bishop your team can get it too. I told y'all
before we got here, I don't want them on the
cashier selling none of y'all books. That's what I meant,
because y'all know. But still no ten to fifteen dollars come.
Tell y'all had a diverse group. It was hr hood resources,
many many of faiths, and I don't want my people
on no cashier. They either gonna do this or not.

(32:51):
We bust our people down because I hired a lot
of my people came from workforce academy students who you
see in my comments often justin you know you always
referred to no Jermaine. I'm sorry, Curvant one of my
first Dude, that's the one I told to get off
the bus and go back to the house because I
was playing. So I told them I don't want none

(33:13):
of my people on the cash RETTI. So I meant that,
so I guess they thought. And this was one of
the ones where I charged them. Oh, by the way
I charged the church for sure. Yeah, we definitely want
to do no volunteers, and I want y'all up here.
I know you lying. Not why y'all up here stelling
these books back to bag makee Yeah, we're gonna need that.
We absolutely gonna need that because I did the volunteers

(33:35):
in Orlando to show that we could do it. So
this show, y'all know, even though I worked at the
first and third large staff firm of the world, in
order to get a contract, I need to be able
to show that I could recruit and get people to
show up, you know. And that's how I got the
contract at the Amway Center. A lot of my business courses,
guys are gonna teach y'all how to how to get contracts.
So anyway, it was never meant to be a forever thing.
It was a temporary thing to be able to show, hey,

(33:57):
we can get three hundred volunteers, then give me the
contract to pay people. But bishit. Tdjas y'all absolutely got
to pay because I'm looking at the registration fees and
all of that, and I would have continued doing it
in Orlando had they figured out how to pay us.
I felt a way about Tom joy of bringing in
thousands of volunteers, thousands of people from Dallas, who y'all
spending all this money to bring in. Why y'all just

(34:17):
want to pay the people in Orlando while we're here.
Don't just come in the city and then don't want
to pay. Nobody pay the people who's actually here. So
that was one of the reasons why I stopped, because
they refused to pay, because concert tickets and chicken and
waffles just wasn't enough, not for me, even leadership. That's
why y'all be wondering why I be on people's ass.
This is why because I've taken a lot of risks

(34:39):
by myself, so I know what these elected officials were,
budgets and titles and names. They just don't want to
take the risks. So so with TD Jakes, they I
guess when they got there, they thought I was playing
and thought I was gonna say, well, you know, let's
just let the Lord work it out. And they put
my people on the cashier. I said, guys, I told
you they wasn't doing that. Said, well, this the only
thing they got to do. Oh okay, then we're going

(35:00):
back to the house and y'all gonna have to figure
it out and on. In addition that, we're going back
to the house, and y'all still gonna pay these people
for their time. And I mean that, And that's exactly
what happened. While my friend Representative Randy Bracy, who wasn't
a representative at the time, was sitting up and joining
the conference, I was out there fighting for our life.
So this is how it is, guys. This is what

(35:21):
leadership looks like. I want you to know that you
can do it. I want you to know it doesn't
matter who is with you. God is with you. I
want you to know He will send you somebody. He
will send you somebody for the desires in your heart.
Please enroll with my training, guys, because now more than ever,
this is your time. The training is affordable, guys. It's
fifty bucks twenty five dollars an hour look at it

(35:44):
that way, plus the course descriptions I mean, plus the
course content. Just so we're clear, I'm a for profit organization.
I'm not a non profit organization. My consultant fee is
two fifty and I ain't mad about telling y'all it's
two fifty an hour. Just so we're clear. I've made
this very, very affordable because so many people have said, teseslim,
bring the train, and bring the train and bring the training,

(36:05):
you know, to our city, and I just felt terrible. Guys.
I tried to do it. It was gonna cost people
one hundred and fifty two hundred dollars to come to
the training, to be able to afford, you know, me
coming down there the hotel to room, and I just
didn't feel comfortable doing that. So this is as cheap
as I can possibly get it without even the value
in myself. There will be other courses that will be
more like media. People want to know specialized things that

(36:26):
I do. They'll probably be about one hundred bucks and nothing,
you know, two out of pocketing out the way. But guys,
I can't tell you enough. If you run a business,
if there's anything you want to do, if you just
need motivation come to this course because I'm gonna inspire
you and I'm gonna give you a real deal. With
that said, guys, unless there is anything else that we have,

(36:46):
I don't see anybody in the audience saying they needed
to say anything. So thank you for being my congregation today.
If I ever do have a church, it will be
a small church, a two out, one down the middle,
two sets of pews. Mega church is scared of me.
I like to keep it real small, just like this.

(37:08):
So guys, thank you. I'm gonna do this again and
invite you over because your energy does help. I appreciate you. Guys.
Thank you for being in the congregation. This will be
available on Straight Shot No Chaser podcast. Thank you Cheryl
for joining me. I'm excited to be back in Orlando.
I'm left on top. Just so you guys know, I
had to leave because we lost our contract do the

(37:29):
healthcare reform. So it was one of the most depressing
times of my life having to leave all of the
beautiful people that I met in Orlando. But I knew
I will be back. God said, We're ready for you
to come back. I can't wait. I can't wait coming back,
going to family law, and it's over with Cheryl. You
know I'm coming in feet first and first it's up.

(37:50):
I even want to get my staffing firm back, Cheryl.
I won't be doing one hundred and fifty people or so,
but just small enough ten or fifteen people. You know
that we could just keep working cause I like people jobs,
but small enough that I can manage and do all
the other things that I'm doing. But that's very, very
important to me. At the time we did we could
have gotten the contract, but they was only going to

(38:12):
let like ten people work, and I couldn't afford that.
Because you guys have learned, when I roll out my
business classes in order for people to work, you go
out of pocket a lot, you know, paying for the taxes,
all the fees, and you just don't make a profit.
So putting people to work when you're only in charging
the employer three or four dollars on top of their pay,
it's just not It wasn't feasible. I couldn't afford it
at that time. But now God is blessed and through

(38:34):
your support, guys, if you support this training, I want
you to know, this allows me to do other things
I don't want to depend on media contracts. I'm being
very transparent with you, guys. I don't want to depend
on media contracts. I'm not a YouTuber. I don't want
to get on YouTube and try to make views. You know,
I'll post up every now and then, but that's not
you know, what's driving what's sustaining this business. It's not

(38:55):
what's going to sustain marcella'ss paid, Jay's pay. I want
to expand and add more people to my team. I
need a salesperson, by the way, if you know how
to do sales on the training, we need a salesperson,
somebody that can reach out to organizations to get them
to partner with us. And then I'll probably get a
digital person at once down the road when we can
afford it. But I do want to put people back

(39:16):
to work. So if nothing else, guys, if you just
buy the training, I don't even the cash app is
fine when people give me cash apps, but I'd rather
you get something for your money. So if you just
get the train in fifty bucks and pass it to somebody,
you know, if you're not interested, just support the program, guys,
because the program really truly is going to make an
impact in plenty people's life. Shout out to h I

(39:38):
think I only pronounce it wrong. I know last name
belling me, she said, I'm fully disabled, so I'm here
to volunteer. Let me just speak to you now. You
are able, Yes, you are able. You are able, and
I don't ever want you to get it confused that
you're not in fact disable. Folks that are able to
sit and have time to build and to make phone
calls and to be a part. Please know that you

(40:01):

something for you. There's still something for you. So please
make sure that you are in my course. Coach. Please,
you got coaches your middle name, so prove it to me.

you're already in the course or not, but I'm looking
for you to sign up immediately. Go to telmfigure ol
dot com. Please sign up. We need you more than ever.

(40:22):
We got spun who's also in a wheelchair. He's in
the court, he's in the course. Guys, there's so much
that you can do. There is so much that you
can do. There is so much that you can do
to make a change, to make a difference. I want
you to know that God has his eye on you.
It's making me emotional for some reason. I don't know
what you're going through, but there's something that I feel

(40:43):
like I need to speak to you. You are still worthy,
You still have something to contribute. Do not let any
disability stop you from being able because you still have
a mind to think, hands, the touch, and even if
you don't have that, God to still make away is
paralyzed from the waist down and it's still an uber driver.

(41:04):
Did y'all hear what I said? I said he's paralyzed
from the waist down and still driving uber. He drives
with sticks for those of y'all that don't know. So
God got a way of even giving you sticks. He
got a way of he was saying, if your legs
don't work, I got something else for you. He got
a way of saying, if your hands don't work, I
got something mess for it. If your eyes don't work,
I got something mess for you. If your brain ain't
always there, I got somethings's for He will make sure

(41:27):
that you know that you still have something to contribute
to His kingdom. This is kingdom business. This is Kingdom business,
So please enroll in the class. Guys, I'm gonna teach
you what you need and we're gonna work together so
that you can work with others. Not on Instagram, you know,
not in the comments. This as you're working with each other.

(41:50):
This is gonna allow you to work with each other,
hire each other, work on different projects of and just watch,
just watch and see. I'm excited. I don't want thousands
of people. I really just want through. I really just
want three hundred that engage with me in the next year,
one way or the other, and we're gonna see just
how real God is. Thank you so much, guys, get

(42:13):
in the train and tell them Figugo dot com and roll.
The first course starts June fourteenth. I hope to see
you there. Thank you so much for being a part
of Straight Shot No Chaser. Please, guys, ask ten people

that stay in business. We just do. This is where
I give a free game every week. So if you
can't afford the course, I got it, no problem. At
least come here to get the information that you need.

(42:34):
But do me a favor. Ask five to ten people. Hey, guys,
just subscribe to it. We have to be very intentional
about this, guys. This is not about telling people to
suscribe even if they like it, just tell them, hey,
do me a favor. This is this. This showed means
something to me. So can you subscribe to me? Because
we actually count those numbers. Shout out to black Effect.

not just give it paying for stuff anymore, just because
so we're not gonna have an outlet. I can come
on this podcast anytime, guys and talk as long as
I want, say whatever I want. Nobody censors my words.
So this is very powerful. So ask ten people to
support it. Tell them if they if they rock with you,
then rock with what you support. So, guys, I appreciate

(43:18):
