Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let us pray. He said to them, I saw Satan
having fallen like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you
authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all
the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way
hurt you none the less. Don't rejoice in this that
(00:20):
the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your
names are written in heaven Leuke ten, eighteen twenty. Jesus,
thank you for the gift of your protection. Thank you
for all the angels You've commissioned to guard my life
and watch over me. I know that nothing can harm
(00:41):
those who belong to you. No scheme of the enemy
can defeat me nor destroy me, because you are with me.
Your word says, greater is he that is in me
you than he that is in the world. And your
word is true. Knowing that you watch over me chases
(01:04):
away all worry and fear. Peace is the constant state
of my heart.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
To day.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
I am filled with the peace you've given me. You
keep me in perfect peace because I keep my mind
steadfast on you, Holy Spirit. Continue to guide me in
your ways so I can always stay under your covering
your protection. Help me to keep your word in my heart,
(01:34):
so I will not sin against you. I rejoice in
your presence, your provision, your protection. Thank you Jesus in
Jesus name. Amen. Thank you for listening to today's daily

Speaker 2 (02:34):
We're called by God to stand up in the authority
of the name of Jesus and cast the devil out.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
Welcome to new level where we take you to a
whole new level where heyk and Brenda Kooneman, and we're
going to talk about an important topic. Have you ever
heard when the scripture talks about pray for those that
are in authority and be in some injection to those
who who rule well with all the craziness that's happening
in the earth, What does that mean? Does that mean
(03:07):
you submit to everything that you pray certain ways for
those that are in authority when they're legislating evil or
they're desiring to do things that harm the lives of
the innocent. Brenda, you preached a powerful message where you
kind of debunk this.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
Yeah, it was amazing.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Well, I just felt like it was important, you know,
in this season that we're living into as we pray
for governing authorities, as we pray for people in places
of power, you know, governor's presidents, all of those that
we align the scripture correctly. And so I did a
whole teaching on that. What does it mean to pray
(03:46):
for those in authority? What does it mean to submit
those impositions of government? And so I broke down all
of these scriptures and I think it's going to be
a blessing to you and Henk. I think this is
an important topic that we're praying at here at least,
So I want you to stay tuned for the entire teaching.
And then, of course, Hank and I we're gonna come back.
We're gonna pray for you. Let's believe God for your
(04:08):
life that God will do all that's in his heart
concerning you. So get your bed and paper out and
don't go away.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
We'll be right back.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Here's what I want to pick up on. I want
to talk tonight about praying. How do we pray for
nations and government? I want to just talk about how
can we pray in precatory prayers? That was the char
It's hard to say, but that was the Charles Spurgeon
term in precatory prayers, the prayers of David where he
(04:43):
said break their teeth and their mouth God, and those
are things we don't sing those psalms, but these were psalms, right,
and so Pastor explained that so beautifully. But I want
to just talk from a New Testament perspective, how we
can intercessors, you know, the prayer team. What are things
that we can pray? And then I kind of want
to debunk a little bit some of these verses that
(05:05):
we use that I think we need to kind of
just delve and dig some revelation out of those. So
let me just start with Luke ten nineteen. Jesus is
speaking and he says, behold, I give unto you power
to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the
power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means
(05:26):
hurt you. Now, I just want to draw again A
lot of us know this, but just in light of
the topic draw attention to the word power, which we
know is the word ex susia. Right, there's two words
for power that we know in the New Testament. Right,
there's dunamus, which is supernatural power. When the Book of
(05:48):
Acts says in Acts one to eight, it says you
shall receive power after that the Holy Spirit comes upon you.
That's supernatural, annoying, that's that supernatural power that comes from
the Holy Spirit, and dynamite power, we could call it.
And then there's exusia, which in the text means a
privilege right or the right to do something, and I
(06:12):
never thought of it on these terms, but also means
to have jurisdiction and a certain token of control. So
this is what Jesus was saying, I give you this
delegated authority. It's like you are ambassadors. I love how
Pasor Hank talked about the Lord's prayer when it says
(06:33):
and when we pray Thy Kingdom come, and he was
on the phone with somebody today I heard him talking
about this on the fact that you know, if we
took an American flag and went and probably planted it
in the middle of Moscow, I don't think that's going
over good okay, because that is what he's saying. He's saying,
Thy Kingdom come here. And that doesn't mean that everybody's
(06:54):
gonna like that. That means that there's gonna be people
that are gonna oppose. It was an action occupatient term. Well,
the Bible says occupy till I come. Now, we don't
think of that as as in military terms, but really
we are soldiers here on this earth to project and
(07:15):
permeate the culture with the gospel. We're called we're in
the Army of God. That's not just a Sunday school saying.
We are soldiers here to not only preach, but to
impose righteous standard biblical values. I'm gonna prove it to
you from the Bible that we are to say, you know,
(07:36):
this is God's way. His kingdom come is going to
be His will, not the will of the LGBTQ and
all the other letters. It is gonna be how God
wants it, and we're here to impose his way. So
I give it to you the delegation. Think of it
like that, a token of control. Now we read that scripture.
(07:59):
When we think of it, well, it's just the spirit, okay,
it's just the unseen demonic realms. And yes, our prayers
when we pray, are targeted at the devil. Okay, because
then that's why Ephesian says we wrestle out against flesh
and blood. It didn't say that flesh and blood is
never involved. It's just a reminder to us that there
(08:19):
is an unseen world behind the world we see, so
we don't get so focused on the people involved. But
it doesn't mean you're not dealing with the people, because
you're going to deal with the people that the devil
is talking through right on MSNBC and CNN. You're gonna
deal with the people. So our prayers are targeted towards
(08:43):
the demonic powers, but we also end up having to
deal with the individuals that these demons are using. And
I want to we're going to break that down a
little bit. So our authority in Christ, it touches both
the spirit realm, right, the hold I give unto you,
the delegated right. But our authority in Christ also touches
the natural realm. That's why Jesus said, go into how
(09:06):
much of the world, all the world. That's not just
like get on an airplane and travel around. It means
go into the culture. Okay, go into the areas where
you may not be welcome. Okay, We're gonna find out
that the early Apostles weren't welcome most of the places
they went, but they went anyway and impose God's way
(09:28):
in the culture. So I'm gonna tell you this will
be your homework assignment, so you might as well do
it to begin to really dissect the Book of Acts,
because it is eye opening on how much the early
Apostles they were. They had it in their mind that
we have the right to do this. When they were
(09:49):
told to get out of the synagogue, they came back
the next day. Now, if that is in defiance of
the government mandate, I don't know what is. They said,
don't teach preaching that name. They said, well, we can't
obey you. We're gonna obey God and we're gonna go.
And the next day, in fact, if they tried to
restrain him, I'm getting ahead of myself because this is
in my nose. But they tried to restrain him, put
(10:11):
him in jail. Angel breaks them out of jail. And
the next day they stood in the same spot and
said he They said, how are they preaching over there
they were in jail. I know they're back in the
temple again. I mean it's like, you know, you're we
got a little puppy, and it's like, don't chew that.
I had this yachtzi game that I bought one of
(10:33):
those table games and put it under them. We haven't
even played it yet, and little ol'd Herbie managed to
take that it's big and drag it out because he
wanted to chew the corner. Now, his teeth can't do
what a ship does. But still I didn't want doggy
germ on it. I want it nice. So I corrected
(10:54):
him and put it back. You know that at a dog.
Do you think that once was enough? Once was not enough?
I'm telling you sometimes you gotta go back. You're gonna
So the fact of the matter is is that's what
the apostles were. They were like, we're gonna go back.
We don't. You're not gonna tell us what we're gonna do.
(11:15):
We have the delegated right, we have the authority given
by we have exusia, a token of control to go
into the culture and preach God's kingdom.
Speaker 5 (11:33):
The Bible says in Psalm one thirteen, the Lord is
high above all nations and His glory above the heavens.
We've all seen the rise of evil and chaos in
the earth, but the power of our decree can change
the course of cities, nations, and governments. For your gift
of thirty five dollars or more, we love to send
(11:53):
you Pastor Brenda's CD series Praying for Government and Nations,
along with the companion book Daily Decrees for Government and Nations.
With these life changing tools, we will learn to fear not.
You are not powerless. You have a weapon that, if activated,
can supernaturally shift the course of our nation, protect your family,
(12:15):
expose corruption, and turn around hopeless situations.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
To order these powerful.
Speaker 5 (12:21):
Resources, simply call eight five five seven seven seven seven
nine zero seven or go online to Hankinbrenda dot org
and request offer four two four. They will be sent immediately.
Without you, the powers of darkness will continue to ravage
and destroy nations. But when you begin to boldly open
(12:42):
your mouth, the floodgates of Heaven will open and the
purpose of God will be released.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
So our authority touches the spirit realm, but it is
involved in the natural realm. So don't ever think that,
and I think that's one of the reasons the Church
has taken a pacifist approach on so many things. We think, well,
it's just spiritual. The whole battle is spiritual, and so
we've taken ourselves out of the arena of being involved
(13:22):
in what goes on in our state legislatures and what
happens in our schools. I mean, doctor Jackson was talking
in the back about how some of what year did
you say, in the medical community, where things shifting, where
government was had to began to calculate some control tactics
upon people in the medical industry. So these things. So
(13:46):
the Church, you know, we've taken ourselves out of so
many areas without coming in and saying, hey, that's not right.
You can't read that to our kids, that's not okay.
You can't do that with our tax dollars, that's not okay.
And so because we've been told, well, it's all spiritual,
it's all a spiritual battle. No people are part of it,
(14:08):
and our authority give So when Jesus said go into
all the world, he was saying, insert yourself in the culture,
get in the middle of it, because you are the
restraining force against wickedness. If we don't stand. If we
don't impose what's right, then the devil just has a heyday.
So I give unto you power an authority. So both
(14:33):
the natural are both the spiritual and the natural. And
we'll find that much of the Book of Acts was
the church colliding with governments responding in prayer. But yes,
they had to stand against tyranny. Matthew twenty eight. Look
at this one real quick. I'm gonna pull a couple
points out of that, and then we're gonna go some
other directions Matthew twenty eight, eighteen through twenty And Jesus
(14:58):
came and spoke to This is what we call the
Great Commission. Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, all power,
all EXUSI, all authority has been given to me in
heaven and in earth. Now you go and that authority
and teach all nations. Now that word nations, there is
a cultural term. We think of it as a geographical map,
(15:22):
but it means ethnos. It is every tribe, every color,
every creed, every belief system, Come on, every mindset, Come on,
every socioeconomic group. He's saying, I'm telling you go and
(15:42):
teach them what's right. That's why we've got to be
the people that speak up about finances. We push back
on the stupidity of what they call women's rights movement. Okay,
it's so not biblical. They take a truth and they
twist it and turn it to a lie. So he's saying,
(16:03):
go into all nations, this is all races, all cultures.
Insert yourself baptizing them in the name of the Father
and the Son and of the Holy ghosts. Watch this
verse twenty. Now, come on, I want you to see
this in the mind of imprecatory prayers. Teaching them to
(16:25):
observe all things. Well, do you think that would include
then being involved to speak out against transgender mutilation because
we're teaching them. No, you don't get to mutilate our children.
We're coming here to teach you, Washington, d C. State capitals,
(16:46):
medical doctors. We're here to teach you that you are
going to observe what Jesus commanded on morals, on money,
on people, teaching them what. So everything's I've commanded you,
and lo, I'll be with you while you do it.
(17:06):
I'll be with you, don't you thank God for that?
So the Great Commission itself was an insertion into the
culture for us to be a voice of a standard
of righteousness. Now we're going to break this down a
little bit, so I want to give some of this
to you. In fact, a good example, Act seventeen. You
(17:26):
can write this down. We won't read the whole thing,
but Act seventeen Paul went into he was at Ephesus,
and he went to when he came to the city.
If you look at it, well, actually let me. I
am going to turn to it because I want to
read this correctly. Go to Act seventeen. I'm sorry this
(17:46):
is in Athens. Forgive me, I said ephesis, but he
meant Athens. Watch this verse sixteen of Acts seventeen. I
didn't give them the verse, but it says this. And
while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was
stirred in him when he saw the city. Where was
it the what? The city completely given over to idolatry.
(18:10):
So he was stirred, and he went and you read
the story on and confronted them for their cultural paganism.
So he wasn't afraid to insert himself. And this is
much of the Book of Acts. So let's go on. Now,
let me give you. In fact, I write these down.
Here's some examples of the early apostles standing in christ authority.
This is why you're gonna have to go back study
(18:31):
the book of Acts. Acts four, Peter and John are threatened,
and I like this word, mandated to not speak or
teach in the name of Jesus. Okay, because it went
against their culture at the time, it went against against
their governmental system. But they told the government that they
(18:52):
have to obey God, not men. Acts five, the same
incident is repeated. They told him they can't preach, but
they they went right back and preached, defying every governmental mandate.
Act seven. Stephen, now that's a story for you. Stephen
is before the counsel of the magistrates and confronts their
(19:13):
resistance to the Holy Spirit, and it results in a
riotous outbreak and his own murder. Acts thirteen Paul command's blindness,
talk about imprecatory to come upon a sorcerer who was
an assistant to the governor. Think about that one. Act seventeen.
So don't think you know the apostles. We read these
(19:36):
these scriptures as if they were just very passive people.
But no, they went right into the hottest seats, They
found the hottest spots. They went to the places where
they knew it was going to stir up a controversy. Okay,
they could have quietly sat in houses and said, you
tell a friend, and I'll tell a friend, and let's
play telephone. We're gonna talk about Jesus in the house. No,
(20:00):
they didn't do it like that. They marched to the
synagogue out in the open, where they knew it was
gonna draw unfriendly fire. Come on, that's why we get
up here so bold. Let them say what they want.
We are gonna stand for what's right. We're not going
to allow immorality to go on unchecked. So that's one example.
(20:25):
I just read to you Act seventeen. Paul is stirred
at the Idolatry in Athens and confronts them at the synagogue.
And by the way, they took him up to the
trial court in that case where he could make his
own defense. He actually had to go to court to stand.
Come on, are we willing? Acts nineteen Paul in ephesis
(20:46):
enters a purposeful conflict with the pagan worshipers, making shrines
to Diana purposeful. So these were not only in precatory prayers,
but in precatory involvement in being in the culture. Amen.
So it involves both. So don't let anybody ever tell
(21:07):
you well, it's all spiritual. No, Listen, If you really
read the story of the Apostles in the Book of Acts,
they were very loving. They weren't riotous people come on,
the wicked started their own riot when they heard the truth.
They didn't start any lawless riots. They just went and
stood and said, no, we're going to we are mandated
(21:29):
with God's authority, and we are going to impose truth
in this environment. And if we have that attitude, God
will use us. And you know what was amazing about it.
God used them in signs and wonders when they took
on that attitude. I'm just wondering, as the boulder we
become as God's people, that there won't be an increase
of miracles and signs and wonders. In fact, at one
(21:51):
point the Bible says to God confirmed to them, to
those that they spoke to and those that they preached to,
and those they imposed truth to. It said he used
them in signs and wonders a miracle to prove what
they said was the truth. I think the bull Maybe
maybe I'm just gonna present this, but maybe it's possible
(22:11):
that the lack of miracles we sometimes see in the
church is because we've hidden too much. God, Come on,
the Bible says in Mark the sixteenth chapter, verse twenty.
God confirmed with them with signs following when they went out,
come on. They took a risk. Are there any risk
takers in the House of God? Are there any people
(22:33):
that are willing to put themselves on the line? Come on?
The apostle Paul talked about those of his team that ministered,
who put themselves out there to the point where they
jeopardized their own integrity. And look how many times they
made up lies about Stephen, They made up lies about Ball.
They're gonna they're gonna lie about you. But ma'am, when
(22:56):
God starts to do some miracles signs in, I think
that's what we're going to come into. I think we're
coming into a season of signs and wonders and miracles.
God's going to start confirming his word with signs following.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
Boy, that is such a timely, powerful message. And I
want to make sure that you get all that we
are offering. And I tell you. The reason why is
we can in any broadcast, you know, give all the
information that she preached and break it down in the time.
Speaker 5 (23:27):
That we have.
Speaker 3 (23:28):
But you can get the resources and it can empower
your life. I know there are those that you've ran
into that have actually quoted the scriptures that Brenda was
preaching on.
Speaker 5 (23:37):
Well.
Speaker 3 (23:37):
She wrote a book called The Daily Decrease for Government
and Nations. And if there's anything that my wife is
known for best selling books, the Power of the Decree,
many decree books, but Brenda, I think this one personally
is so timely. And do you know that over fifty
percent of nations right now are in a time of
(23:58):
important elections where we need to be praying over governments.
And I like this because, by the way I did
write the forward, Brenda, I didn't have a choice, and
so anyway I was honored to do it. But here's
some of the things that this book, and this is
why you need to get it, especially you intercessors that
do many prayer gatherings. This is powerful. You're going to
(24:20):
decree a nation in revival decrees about against censorship of
the Gospel. How about this decrees that deliver us from
wicked and evil people, declarations over the office of the president.
I'll put it back, movement, integrity and elections, Judges of righteousness, liberty,
(24:42):
peace and safety, life for the unborn. I'm telling you
it covers many more. So make sure you get this.
This is a powerful book. Brenda Daily Decrease for Government
and Nations. And again, what's beautiful about it is you
can decree as many times and every time you decree,
the Bible says that it will be established. And we
(25:02):
need a lot of things established. To make sure you
get this one. And then also you can get in
its entirety the message that Brenda preach here that you're
listening to praying for government and nations. And this is
so important because Brenda, as it goes with certain when
leaders rise in power, the Bible says that when they're righteous,
(25:22):
the people rejoice. But boy, if the wrong leaders get
in it says the people grown. And there's been a
groaning sound across the Europe.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
Yes, it's so true, and I think we have to
align how to pray, right, That's what today's broadcast is
all about. It's learning how to pray and not feeling
like you know, you're only praying prayers that are supportive
in nature. Yes, we want to be supportive people, but
we're not supporting evil. How do we pray when evil is,
you know, being loosed all around how we pray?
Speaker 3 (25:52):
She explains it in its entirety, So make sure you
get this as well as the daily decree for government
and for nations partners also want to thank you too.
Because of you, we are able to connect people just
like you to the word of the Lord, and we
are able to bring truth in the middle of such
lies and narratives that you know want to get people
(26:15):
to believe a certain way, Well, we need the spirit
of truth and you're allowing.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
Us to do that.
Speaker 3 (26:20):
So thank you for your partnership. If you have not
yet partnered, I encourage you to do it today because
there's benefits that also happen in your life. But we
want to do this, you know, Brenda, I would love
for you to extend your hand towards some beautiful people
and let's pray whatever it is that God may has
you know, put on your heart for the people.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Absolutely well, I just sense right now that some of
you are an watching and you're looking at everything that's
happening out in the world with the government, and of
course you are committed to pray for that, but you're
going through things on a personal level and just feels
like compounded days of trouble all around. So right now
I just speak peace to your spirit, whatever situation you're
(27:00):
walking through. I feel really strong. Right now. There's some
people with financial situations. You're going through a struggle financially,
wondering how to pay all the bills. So right now
I just say, in Jesus' name, Heavenly Father, I pray
that your hand of blessing would come upon those right
now that are watching it. Every single person that has
(27:21):
a financial need, it would be met by your power.
Every bill would be paid. And I take authority in
the name of Jesus over any spirit of fear that
would try to govern your mind and keep you up
worrying at night. I bind that and I say no
to it in the name of Jesus, and I just
(27:42):
speak the peace of God. And right now, Father, I
also house that you give people solutions in their finances,
solutions on what to do, what steps to take, how
to get things turned around and taken care of it.
I just also speak debt annihilation upon you. In Jesus's name. Well,
provision comes now from the spirit of the Lord, and
(28:04):
I declare that. And then if you have a need
for healing, I just speak God's healing power over your life,
whatever your need is, in Jesus name.
Speaker 3 (28:12):
Yes, someone, you've been having pain in your left ear,
I said. And there's also a really strong ringing to
stop and sue his name. Yes, also swelling in the
back of someone's head. I command it right now, it's
like right back in here. I command it to be
leased from you, and I release the healing power of
God for everyone in the sound of my voice. You
(28:32):
are healed by the power of His word. And I
even speak healing over the United States of America and
the nations.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
Lord Jesus, we ask you for your intervention God in yes,
she was name. Amen, Amen, and amen. That's good. Well,
I want to encourage you. Keep praying for the nations.
Keep praying for the United States of America. I believe
when we decree things, it happens, Heaven is listening. Let's
pray for evil to be uprooted, and pray for the
(29:00):
good things of God to come forward in this nation
and in the nations of the Earth well till next time.
We're all out of time or Hanker, Brenda Kudeman and
know this partners were praying for you. We're believing God
for his best days to be ahead of you. In
Jesus Mighty name, till next time. We love you very much.
We're Hank and Brenda taking you to a new level.
Speaker 5 (29:21):
The Bible says in Psalm one thirteen, the Lord is
high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
