Speaker 1 (00:06):
Hey, everyone, thank you for pulling up a chair for
this bonus episode at the table for two. This week
we're back. There's another quick lightning round. Earlier this year,
I sat down for lunch with the amazing Ellen Barkin
at Via Carota in New York City. I can't wait
for you to hear the entire interview, but for now,

(00:27):
we hope you enjoyed this little.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Bonus from our conversation.

Speaker 1 (00:30):

Speaker 3 (00:39):
There's a little quick round that I like to do, okay,
sort of just making it light so it's like very easy,
Miss Ellen Barkin.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Quick round answers first thing that comes.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
To your mind, just to start off, guilty pleasure, potato chips,
advice that changed your life.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
Learn to say no, don't let anyone play your character
for you. Basically was you know Duvall's lesson, like, this
is your part.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Of this job, not his. Can you keep a secret? Yes,
she really can.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
But you have to tell me it's a secret. You
don't tell me as you know.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
I'm a big talker, biggest pet peeve, the word pet peeve.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
And when uncle say enjoy like when I was a waitress,
anytime I heard a weight person on my staff say enjoy.
I'd be okay, that's not what we say. We are
a downtown New York bar and we don't say enjoy.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Favorite movie maybe Giant Love It.

Speaker 5 (01:51):
Favorite vacation spot the Caribbean, Favorite artist William Dacooning, or no,
take it back?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Who Mark Rothko?

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Mark Rothko? Okay, most cherish item. Oh maybe it's your
SNL T shirt from season one. See I know her
too well.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
I answer the T shirt.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
It's a Gaberdine button down.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Okay, person you text the most.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Yeah, my daughter, right, I.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Mean I'm answering them for greatest inspiration.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
The movie Bonnie and Clyde.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Okay, And finally, first celebrity crush. I think when you
were a girl, Paul Yelman, that wasn't then she was
in love with.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Who's Not?

Speaker 2 (02:43):
I was in love with We're Not. I tell them
what question you had?

Speaker 4 (02:51):
Yeah, Bruce was going to ask me who had the
best penis in Hollywood? Now, honestly, I don't know why
he thinks.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
So I would know it that she's quite the leading lady.
And I said, to work with some of the hottest
guys in Hollywood. So I just thought that would be
you know how I used to.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
I mean, this is awful to say about me, but
I have to because that's me.

Speaker 2 (03:13):

Speaker 4 (03:14):
When he would like have a period where I didn't
have a boyfriend and I wanted a boyfriend, I take
a job.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Right, okay, because you were to end up.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
I'd say, Okay, who's in that movie? Yeah, I'll do that,
and then i'd have a boyfriend.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Right, Yeah, you have a boyfriend. I'm trying to hold out.
