the Foundation Manu k Died, Kendrick Lamari, y'all know him?
Is that schoolboy Q. You know what I'm saying. And myself,
you know what I'm saying. So, but you know we
didn't grow into a crazier commodity.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
You know what I'm saying. I don't want to. I
don't want to miss nobody. Y'all know.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Y'all know Solana, y'all know, Sister, You know Isaiah, my
Man Inglewood, Sir ray Von Doci, come on, everybody and
everybody working.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
You know what I'm saying. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
My man, my young man, Yack Kembay Ex Devin, that
dev elite man.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
We just got we just got work, just got work.
We got real art. We're all about the art.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
You feel what I'm saying, that's what it's all about.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
South speak of art. Let's talk about your last album, Soldburger,
because you were just talking about do Chie. You had
Blast on your album. G you had a lot of
different artists on there. So who was your favorite artist
to work with? And what's your favorite song from the album.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
That's a great question.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
To be honest, my my, I think my favorite song
on the album would probably be the intro actually nine mile.
I think I put it all on the floor, you
know what I'm saying. There's a lot of layers to that,
like I think it had. It had a lot to
do with Uh. It was heavily you know, I wanted
the album to come in and sound like Belly, you

(05:39):
know what I'm saying, because you know the album is
based on uh, you know my brother Doburger that past.
You know what I'm saying, Long Live the Burger and
you know, like it's the fusion of me and him,
saying Solburger, So Soldburger is a whole other character.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
It's like, you know, he's like a superhero. It's like
the fusion of me and him with like Hue and Riley.
You feel me?

Speaker 4 (06:00):
So I just got to put it all on the
Flow and Belly one of our favorite movies. I wanted
it to come in it sounds like that. And then
like you know, we incorporated the you know, the eight mile,
the eminem I am.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
You know what I'm saying. I just got to put
it all on the flow and just it was.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
Liberating, It was therapeutic and it set the tone, you
know what I mean. But you know, definitely you know
all the artists that I had on that have Vince
Staples on there, Like I said, dough Chi you know
that's my.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Girl Blast of course, uh Tie was on there. Yeah.
It was crazy, you know it was. It was crazy.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
It's some of my best work and but more importantly
it was old to my brother though.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Yeah, yeah, long lived, dope Burger. You feel what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (06:41):
You've been in a game for a minute, though, and
longevity is something that not.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
A long long term. Not to cut you off, that's
my brand though, long term.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
Long term I'm sorry nothing, Yeah, I know you're good.
Have a long term in the industry, It's like you
don't see that often and it's a blessed to have it.
And not only do you have long term, you know music,
but you're part of legendary label. So talk about that
how that feels to still be a part of something

(07:10):
that is still growing y'all are still signing new artists
and you know, growing as a label and as a collective.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
You know, as much as I want to say, it's like,
you know, it's surreal, like you know, like I never
saw I ain't surprised.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Yeah yeah, I said.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
And you know also, you know, for those that don't know, like,
you know, I grew up I actually literally grew up
in a family owned record store magic this music incon
you know my you know, my family started the VI
I P Chain in LA with physical distribution. So I
grew up in music retail. So I already you know,

(07:49):
came in with that patience, with that, with that, you know,
with that that that mindset. So to be a part
of such a you know, a dynamic citric, right and
you know, and and TD, you know, you gotta understand,
we're not We're not We're not coworkers, we're not colleagues.

(08:10):
You know what I'm saying, Like we really we we
really we really used to like fight over like, look
I got the booth tonight, you take the couch, I'm
sleeping in the book at the booth, got the door.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
You know what, lock in. You knowee what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
Like we really was in the trenches for it, like
me and my brothers, so we really got it out
the mud.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
And like you know, this is no surprise for me.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
You know what I'm saying, because you know, everybody talented,
but not anybody skilled and hard work gonna be talent anytime.
So you know, it's all of that, and it's long term.
I got the most patience, period, got the most.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
So now you you you among a selected group that
first of all, you don't need no features, you don't
need no nothing good.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
TD got them all.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
But that anybody that you want to work with that
you ain't worked with yet.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Man, I just talking about man ship. If I can get
the verse.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
Of jay Z, Man, go ahead and pot me, go ahead,
give me, give me on up to get me out
of here.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
He said, That's all I'm talking about. If I get
the versus j Man, just just give me on the body.
But you know, you know, you know I'm you know
what I'm saying. I'm still I'm still young. Flying. You
know what I'm saying, I'm a b I'm a b flo.
Come on, I'm a b young fly. I feel I

(09:32):
can't use fly came about. I can't make this up. Man,
It's a spiritual thing.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
Churches on the moves man. So I mean, you know,
it's it's a lot. You know, it's a lot. It's
a lot to be done. It's a lot to be done.
It's a lot of artists that I that I'm looking
forward to working with in the future, for sure. But Jay,
you know, Jay's top of the pearent man, three thou.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Now you're talking. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
How you're talking. I'm a pressed eminem and gotta get
me one right. Yeah, yeah, I'm pressing. I'm about to
start pressing ship.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
That's what I done.

Speaker 4 (10:06):
Yeah, yeah, you know, I'm you know, and I'm like
old enough there, I'm like the big I'm finally, I'm
finally the big homie.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
