Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hold up, Hold up this show. Welcome to the Ball
Show podcast available everywhere you get your podcast. I go
by the name for our cimics. You know what it
(00:26):
is because you in my seat. You can definitely true.
You sat down in Sue's chair. Why did you do
that anyway? Because they was fixing the mark? You want
the pink wall. You don't get no pull on that.
You know what we're gonna next episode. I will be
right back in my damn your best seats. It's solo
and I'm gonna be back in my seat next week.
(00:47):
Go ahead. I know, I know you guys missed me.
Happy New Year. I did, but now I don't because
I didn't realize that you stole my seat. I thought
it was gonna be a tea party that's always always
excited to come. I thought Octavia put you in my seat.
And now that I know better, oh my god, this
is just so amazingly. Okay, how you doing whatever? Maybe
everybody free will think you see maybe bullshit. I can't
(01:11):
believe you took a week off and then you came
back and took my seat. You want to shout her
pretty face? Yeah, that's all she want to do. Okay,
because last she was shades besides me. Well, she was
saying last episode about the bay with the Angela Simmons, Addie,
I'm still starting to call to actually a couple of
(01:32):
people hit by d M. Okay, any prospects. No, I'm
checking out, none of you. I'll checking out. But you
are searching? Yeah, I mean I'm not entertaining, not searching
new things, open some meeting new people. Yes, okay, so
don't say you're searching. You gonna have all type not searching.
(01:55):
Underscore sung another one, thank you, another one, thank you.
All right, let's get back into it. Um prayers for tomorrow.
Hamlin Man, he woke up, he woke up and he wrote, um,
asking a question who won the game? And the doctor said,
you he won the game. Um, so he's he's alert. Um,
(02:19):
he's still not breathing on his own. They're saying he's
still critically ill. Correct, but he's shown a lot of
great signs and he opened his eyes and he's up
that this is dope. Uh, he's in good health. Four
year old. You know man Buffalo bills and shout out
to the medical staff who really did their job to
the best ability. TV. Yeah, I watched it. I've seen it.
(02:41):
Love that I saw the game. We saw the medical
staff and do their job, and that was just great, scary.
I saw a lot of baller nation in the comments,
and a lot of people feel like the COVID nineteen
vaccine has a lot to do with all these people
that's looking crazy about that in the comments. What is disrespectful.
I think it's disrespectful for them to blame you know,
(03:04):
something critical like that too, a cod vaccine shot. Well,
I respect everyone's opinion. Um, and you know, unfortunately, like
he's not the only act just that dropped there. There
are plenty of athletes right now that seem to be
having some health concerns, and a lot of people do
feel like the COVID nineteen vaccine was premature. Did not
(03:26):
know what, you know, what the consequences would be or
or how people would respond to it. I'm not saying
that it is the vaccine or not. I don't know,
but but don't you think if it was if it
was the vaccine, that a lot of players would experience
the same thing. I also think this entire a lot
of athletes that are dealing with this stuff. If this
is what happened. I think we should discuss that at
(03:49):
a later date. Let's just I think discussed that he's
doing better. I think that, um, you know, medicine affects
people in different ways, and even we still have people
dying from COVID today, you know who are not vacs.
Who are you know, like you said, there are some
people who are experiencing different things who are vaccinated, and
(04:11):
you know who aren't as well. So it's just still
it's COVID is still a serious matter. I've seen on
new Strand here and a new Strand that's crazy. Yeah,
it's a lot going on. So I don't know what
to say about it. I just know that medicine affects
people differently. It does. Yeah, it's unfortunate, but I'm super
glad that he's responding well. And you know, to anybody
(04:34):
who made a decision to get the vaccine, that's great
for you. If you didn't, that's great for you. Do
what you feel works for you. But we got to
be careful about saying like it is the COVID nineteen back,
disrespectful when you just because I feel like anytime a
health issue happens, everybody's like it's the vaccine. It's like,
let's let to not dehumanize a moment like this, like
(04:57):
that they were the humanizing. I think we're just acknowledging
what you know, people are saying in the swoller nation
comments like not us talking about the people in the
comments like damn so soon? Like I think people are
just scared, Like you know, people are scared, and they're
just trying to find a way to create dialogue and
see what other people think about it. But nonetheless, the
man is responsive and he's he's don't keep praying and
(05:18):
donate to his charity. Okay, yes, because he's up. He's
almost up to three point five million, okay, uh speaking
to millions. The suspect to Takeoffs murder has been released
on a one million dollar bond. Thoughts about that he's out.
I think he's a flight risk. Then they say they
found him with a brand new passport and cash, Like yeah,
(05:42):
that that's just like letting him get so much leeway
and something, you know, tragical, terrible idea, terrible terrible idea,
especially when you found the man when he was trying
to flee the country. Is there is there enough evidence
to actually say that he did it like right, So
that's what investigators said that they saw on on camera.
(06:04):
So speaking to take Off, Quevo released the song Yeah,
it's called without You. I've definitely been a part of
these guys beginnings and it's definitely sad. It's really sad
just hearing music and just seeing Cuevo. He just looks
so empty. Um I can't even fathom to think about
what he's going through mentally, physically, all of the above. So, um,
(06:29):
I don't know, I don't know how to feel about this.
I just feel sad every time all over again. Yeah,
I think we all feel the same way. Take Off
so problematic. Um, so he's gonna be hurting for forever.
It's tough. I mean, this is your family, this is
your groupmate. Like you guys are coming up together, you're
making money together, You're having all these experiences like we're
(06:50):
seeing them travel and trying new food like and it
already went from a group of three to a group
of two. And then you lose your loved one in
the super a tragic way, Like I can't imagine what
that's like. I mean, I know that majority of us
have probably lost someone super close to us, but to
actually see him, you know, articulate that artistically. It's like
(07:12):
it was sad to see the clip of him just
sitting there holding a joint, Like, yeah, you never get
over it. You never get over losing a close loved
one like that. Um even like you said, with friends,
you some people like look at Swiss Beats and and DMX,
you know, and you just when when it comes to
things like that, you just honor them, you know, you
(07:34):
just continue their legacy and try to push for them.
Like even with missy Ellien and Aaliyah. You know, she
never lets people uh forget about Aaliyah, you know, begging
and puff. He never lets anybody forget. And you know,
as long as uh Cuebo was here, he will never
let anybody forget about take Off. You know, neither will
(07:55):
um Offset. So yeah, he'll live on. And it was
a dope. I really enjoyed the song. Two page, go
on to page. It made me really sad at the
end when he said, you know, I'm sorry, that really
made me sad. Yeah, it was just sad period, Alright,
talking about sad young thugs being charged with eight of
(08:17):
the sixty five charges. Thoughts about that because if he
gets convicted of one. It's max. It's max twenty years,
twenty years. Those charges look like beat abolt charges. I mean,
you gotta think about it. Out of sixty eight charges,
he only has eight and sixty five or sixty five
(08:40):
the only charges. Yeah, I got you. I mean, I
don't know if y'all seen his lawyer interview that that
he did on the news. Seems very confident. He seems
extremely confident, and he seems like, I mean, a lawyer
that's saying I'm going to fight to my ask breath
(09:01):
for a client. That seems like a damn good lawyer
who's gonna do his job to get his client out.
Do you as anybody think that's gonna get up compaine?
It was marijuana tote. But those are all things that
could be somebody else's. That's why I said those charges
don't don't. One I'm worried about is the Rico one
(09:24):
because that's why I sell. That's his label, that's his
you know, next y Z. So that's the only one
I am concerned about, and I believe it was the
one of the conspiring to run a cridel enterprise. So
those two I'm nervous about that. Yeah, I'm nervous about
those two because the judge made it very clear to
(09:44):
all of the guys that are going to trial that
if you do get you know, if you lose this case,
by law, I have to give you the max. And
that's by law. Said that. Yeah, he made that very
clear to everybody that you know, if you lose any
one of those cases, you're getting twenty his conspiracy to
violate racketeer, influence and corrupt organizations. The other one is participation,
(10:05):
participation and commitmental in criminal street gang activity, possession of
marijuana with int the district the distribute, possession of codeine
with intend to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of firearm,
possession of My concern is like all of those individually
might be something that you could beat, but collectively, I'm
not sure how that works. Jerry has to find him
(10:28):
not guilty on all eight and see that's that's the
hard part because I feel like they're all separate too.
But I feel like for for like you know, somebody,
to be able to beat the system, that's the definition
of beating a system. That's gonna be really hard to do.
And especially if he does win this case, he's going
(10:50):
to come out a bigger artist. He's going to because
this morale looks kind of down, like when when we're
seeing clips of him and I I mean obviously right,
like you're you're locked up, like all this is going on,
people are talking um. But it's so sad to to
to see that from him, Like I'm kind of used
(11:10):
to seeing him just like super energetic col having fun. Yeah,
You're energy is gonna be a little different. Yeah, Well,
I'm interested to see what happens during the trial. Did
anybody know when it starts January to night? You think
it's gonna be a long trial. I think it's gonna
be a long trial. I'm nervous. I ain't gonna lie.
(11:31):
I'm nervous. I'm really nervous. Many witnesses, they said they
had over a hundred, over a hundred are they calling
on some pretty said and Lucci a little Wayne rich
and Richard Kwan put cap in the comments the same thing. Well,
(11:51):
his lawyer, his lawyer, I believe, denied that. He said.
Lawyer came out and said Luci is not testifying. And
I don't think half of those people. I think those
are names that were somewhat connected to going to call them,
and then they're probably going to decline. Of course, they're
going to call their lawyers, and their lawyers gonna say,
my client, you know, doesn't want anything to do with that.
I think some people forget that. You know, Lord Wayne's
(12:13):
bust being shot up in Atlanta when in the nightclub
was allegedly associated to yr SL. So that's why Lord
Wayne's name came up. But I highly doubt any of
them will participate. I don't think any of them are
going to be going to testify. I don't see that
it's about to be interesting because you know, uh, it
(12:35):
starts January nine. Lucci his trial has been pushed back,
so we don't know when his trial is gonna. It's
gonna his trial depends on thus trial. I think. I
think that's probably why I will not disclose what. I
(12:55):
don't see how his trial connected to each other, and
they're not for remember the murder charges from an associative
a little of a wife and Lucci the murder charge.
They're connected. I mean, Lucie got locked up before THU
right correct on a separate thing. But Lucci is connected
to the thug ship some in some way, and they're
(13:18):
not friends, right, of course not, but just delaying his
for now. Yeah, I just disclosed that to the public. Yeah,
they're not from this Okay. I think there's gonna be
a long trial, and I think that they're you know,
the media. Everybody's about to drag the trial out since
it's a higher, you know, profile trial, especially in Atlanta.
(13:41):
I think you know, it's might gonna a couple of weeks. Yeah,
we're gonna see January ninth, Monday. We need to keep
people updated with that. All right, time for the curveball
question of the days. Are you guys ready? O c T.
You have to participate? I'm that's the question. Wait, it's
(14:01):
gonna go and give us some music or ischilling. We
got the question that you should not worry about at
this particular amount. I love God, I'm very I want
some music. We got their legs right now. It's nice
too close, Okay. If you were offered nine hundred million
dollars to sell a family member, you had to sell somebody?
(14:24):
Who would yourself? Who in the slavery is going on?
You have to nine hundred million dollars for keyword? Who
would you sell? Whoever asked me for the most money. Now,
whatever family member calls me the most asked for money
that I do not have. You are sold for the
(14:45):
million dollars and definitely selling one of my aunties that
don't care about So are you selling somebody for nine
million or you're just gonna walk away? And that question
hurts my soul. I can't even know millions to aunties
that can go. I got a cop getting sold. I
got a cousin the South Florida. Our sell they got
to be blood blood or like, yeah, I got a
(15:06):
cousin my hometown of Westbonda, Florida. I would definitely sell
you know, what's her name? To her? What's her name?
I ain't going on that far ship. Then the keyboard
games and you used to talk about wait, so you really, bro,
this is not a million listen you know? And as
she sold on and I'll give a million though it's hard.
(15:27):
I mean, what am I selling her to? Those are
the questions I have. What am I selling this family?
I don't give a damn damn slavery that I would
feel bad. I can't do that. If a slavery, I
can't do it. If it's what do we tell them
to it? That's a great question. I ain't asking all that.
They said, not a million, man, I asked nothing. What're
gonna do? Buy them back? They're just gonna get something. Yeah,
(15:53):
but what if they asked for more? No no no
no no no no no no no no no no
no no. It's not like he's from sick. No no
no no. Let's they offer me five? Somebody against so,
so you're not selling nobody. I ain't got about it
to sell you a person, the person that really hurt
my spirits. That what's the longing the thing? So you
(16:16):
have out of that because I'm sorry. I love has
to be blood. If they could be, like my cousin
is so gay, so she would say, go ahead and
sell me. I know you want to sell me anyway,
go ahead. No, I ain't got nobody. Okay, nobody, Okay,
all right, let's take a quick comment. You want to
talk about it? X Oh how this work? That ain't
(16:40):
how this work? Okay, we'll be right back. Stay tuned
with more of the Baller Alert show. You said long
in the minute I met you, baby, I knew I
wanted to many the love of money. It's love versus money,
they say, you can't put a attack on love. I
(17:00):
love on the ball or alert show. On our show,
we got love versus money? Yeah yeah, yeah, ready, all right,
Today we got um TLC Chilly and the Boy meets
World Matthew Lawrence. Are we asking if Matthews doing it
(17:22):
for love? It was for the love all the money.
I think Chilly got more money in this case? Am
I wrong? Am I right? Answer the question, ma'am. I
think it's love. I just I think they're genuinely interested
in each other. I think Chilly's at a point life
where she's like, you know what, I need to try
something different, something outside the norm for me. And it
(17:44):
happened to be because you know, Chili used to have
a list. I don't know if that if he checked
all the boxes. But you know, he has to be
super fine. He has to have a great sense of humor, sensitive,
very charming, no good washboard stomach, he can't even He
has to believe in God. He has to love kids,
no more than two baby mamas. He asked me a
(18:05):
lot of things. Man, go ahead, bet, I mean, I'm
gonna say it's definitely love. Um. I had a chance
to meet Chili several times and she seems like a
very loving woman. And I think that it's love now
on the guy on the dude hand, whatever his name,
And I mean it might be for the chicken white
(18:26):
man stuff, like you think white dudes ain't looking for
the bag too, that's cool, But I think that white
men possibly love a little differently as well, Like he's
probably very like essential and like a painting her toe
nails like that. Man? Do that? Is it my turn?
(18:50):
Go ahead? Ry? I think TLC. I mean not Chili.
Chili is like fucking she She's taking whatever the you
can get. God, I don't think Chili is a settler.
First of all, Hey, I let you'all go. I let
(19:10):
y'all got settling. Yes, Chili is settling. I think that
is ready. I'll be back. My old boy is getting
some African American asks. That's what you know you're getting.
(19:31):
You want you know what I'm talking about. He didn't
want to taste that, you know, I want to see
what he's talking about. You wanted some of that, yeah, Minory,
that's all he wanted. Oh, I don't know what the
hell this is. This ain't this ain't for the money,
off for the love, like you said, like you said, BT,
I've met Chili on several occasions. She's definitely Yes, she's
very nice person. You said she's settling. I think she
(19:53):
think she is settling. That's Chili. But now I think,
you know, I don't think Chili is. I don't think
Rele is settling. Like I know. I think she knows
what she wants. She's okay with and comfortable in her
peace within herself. Uh. And you know, she finally found
somebody to align with her, and you know she's she
seems happy with her choice, and she you know, it's
(20:16):
comfortable enough to go public. I think I think this
is real. It might not even be a for everything,
Like I don't think we have to put so much
weight on it. Like it might just be good right now.
That's true, but it also is it also is shocking
for Chili to come out with somebody, you know, out
of all these years she older now don't give a fuck,
look a share. Yeah, yeah, facts, that's a good as
(20:41):
she's like, I'm having. Did not just say that? First
I said, she said thank it. No, you said she
was settling. That's the second thing I said that. The
first thing I said, she was like running back. What
he saying Chili is like fu, she whatever you can get.
The second thing she said I said was I believe
she's settlings was some bullshit. Oh boy is trying to
(21:03):
get some of that chocolate time out. Yes, uh, yes,
he tried to get some of that. They probably be
doing dancing. He's probably putting that yang't on his ass.
He never had nothing like that. Matthew, I get to
you that he was lit. When he was lit. He
ain't bad looking, He's not He's good. That's what's up episode.
(21:27):
Let's go ahead and go to commercially. Don't see not
wrong to swirl. I never had to swirl, but I
don't not wrong with the swirl. You ain't never had
a swirl. Don't even ask wirl chocolate vanilla know what
the swirl is. I did not know what the swirl was.
We're going to commercial with white girls. You've seen me
(21:47):
with at the party. You have a lot of Caucasian friends,
and I hope they're Polish. I'm saying that you have
a diverse group of friends. A lot of them you're
not to talk about you is they're Hispanic. They're not
all Hispanic. Third diverse. He has white friends, he has
(22:08):
Hispanic friends, he has Persian friends. How you don't know what? Okay,
let's go to commercial a talking about swirls to my friends.
Will be come back right. You gotta love this show.
We'll be right back with more of the baller Alert
(22:29):
show message. It's time for ball of mail. Please forgive
me why I speed read through this. Please be alerted
and pay attention guys, Bowler family. I have a story.
I've been a relationship with a man for twelve years
and we have one kid together. Things aren't what they
(22:49):
seem to be with me and him. All of our
friends and family think we are the perfect couple, but
we are not. In fact, we are the most toxic, confusing,
oddest couple ever. I hate him and he hates me.
We literally are both actors in and out the house,
and it amazes me how I'm still here. I cheated
on him seven years ago, but I didn't have sex
with the person until two years ago. I recently found
(23:11):
out that he has a poorn addiction and he likes
to pay escorts for strange things. I found out and
didn't tell him that. I know. I don't want to
be with him at all. I simply want my kid
to grow up with a mom and dad. I know
that my child would be broken inside because she really
loves us both equally, and we make sure she has
(23:32):
everything and more. Please help, I need advice, and I
need it now. Tying to let it go, I gotta
that's not healthy, because the child can feel if you don't,
if you're not happy or if you're miserable in something,
you gotta walk away from that. I'm not a parent,
I'm not married, so I don't understand, you know fully
how difficult that is. But I agree with Octavia. Children
(23:55):
can feel it. People in general can feel negative energy,
and it's not It's not enough to just be in
the same household and say we're gonna raise a child together,
like it might be better off separating and raising the
child in a healthy co parenting environment. I think what
you're doing could backstab, you know, could could backfire on
(24:17):
the kid. And maybe your child is gonna end up
in a relationship similar to yours in the future and
be miserable and stay for the kids. That ain't it.
That's not it. Yeah, I mean stay for the kids.
It's it's it's some bullshit. First of all sounds to
me like you guys are better off being neighbors and
(24:38):
co parenting rather than suffering, because, like you said, kids
understand and they can tell when mommy and daddy ain't
cool right now. And you know, I had a friend
who he was dating a m a lady, and that
she had a kid, and you know, she went to
her mom and was like, hey, is he treating you right?
(24:58):
Because you seem like you said at so the kids
be knowing, Yeah, that baby, that baby, no, um, what's
going on? And the baby she's probably not telling y'all
what's going on. So UH usually have something funny to say,
but this is definitely not funny. Um, you definitely need
(25:19):
to seek out some therapy to uh, just to kind
of get yourself together. UM. I would recommend both of
y'all do it separately and then maybe together, UM, because
you probably need gonna need to speak to your your
child and kids are resilient. Man. You don't don't ever
think that, Um, your daughter is not gonna overcome this.
As long as you guys love each other and love
(25:41):
your daughter together, they'll be fine. So don't stay together
and pretend just because. Go live your life and let
him have his escorts and let him do what the
hell he got going on. And you go get back
with this man that you cheated on with seven years ago.
Then you just start sleeping with him two years ago. Uh,
just gonna be with that man. I don't know what
to tell you outside of uh, just go ahead, and
(26:02):
if you're not happy, don't be with that person. I
feel like a lot of times people in this position
like projects like, oh, I wish my parents would have
stayed together, So I'm gonna make sure that me and
my partners stayed together for the kids. But you're completely
ignoring all of the negative things that you're teaching your child,
Like your kid could literally grow up and think it's
okay for a man to treat her that way because
you stayed normalized. That's not it. I agree with that.
(26:26):
Let me get some shots before we get up out
of here. Guys, go for it. I'm going first. Okay,
what time for a and M custom jury? I literally
want a contest, I swear to guy, Guys, I did.
I liked the ten pictures on Instagram and I made
a comment on the post y'all of a sudden not
one only one on camera Yeah, I got a diamond
(26:49):
charm from A and M Custom Jury. As far as hell,
it's out there in kenniso. It took me about fifty
five minutes to get there, but I got there. I
got my white goal charm and M Custom Jury, and
we got something in the in the mix. Hopefully, well
I don't hopefully we get the whole team. You know,
some A and M. You know what I'm saying, make
a sponsor of a segment on the show. Yeah, let's
(27:11):
talk about all right, Well, I guess time for a
pep talk. Today's pep talk. I kind of want to
continue what we started our last episode as far as
goals and stuff goes. Um being there. This is a
new year. This is the first week in the new year.
What I want to know what you all learned last year? Uh?
What was the biggest leson in two for you? Last year?
(27:34):
I learned not to ignore when I'm being called. Um,
I've been having a really hard time sleeping. This is
old news. It's been years, but I would say the
last year I've been feeling a lot more spiritual. And
I was looking at it like, oh, I'm being pulled.
I'm being pulled, and really I had to change that
word pulled too called. So I know that there's a
(27:55):
column for me, and I'm really just focused on focusing
on my spirituality. Like so I've learned to ignore what
I know that was twenty two for me. All right, Um,
I think you know, the best thing I learned last
year is definitely, um, you know, to stop crastinate and
stop you know, thinking, because you know, I feel like
(28:16):
a lot of times when you're in this industry and
you know, things are just going you know, so fast,
so fast that other things that you want to accomplish
and things that you are actually passionate about that you
might procrastinate. So you know, I might be interested about
reading this book about you know, more about financial literacy
or you know, more about credit and more about ownership,
and then it's like, oh no, but I'm over here
(28:37):
doing this doing that. I don't have time of doing that.
So I think procrastination is definitely one of the things
that you know, I learned to stop doing going into
this new year. Man, I think last year I learned
how important I was to me. Uh. I'm a person.
I put a lot of things and people before me. Um,
even things that would affect my health and stuff like
(29:00):
that in my well being, So I didn't realize how
important I was, and I had to say no and
put myself first a lot more than usual. Um. So
I definitely learned that towards the end of the year
that he can't to you to keep helping so many
people and neglect yourself. So um kind of more so
(29:21):
over a self reflection thing based off the last episode, uh,
paying attention to my personal health and stuff like that,
because I tend to worry about other people and not
worry about myself at all. So um, within doing that,
I kind of realized that I have and I share
with a few of y'all, I have high cholesterol and
like I'm having like some some health problems because i
(29:42):
never really paid attention to myself because I'm always worrying
about somebody else. And um, so I learned a lot
to just pay attention to myself and put me first
so then I can help even more probably. So you know,
yeah that I love it uh self action as well
like therapy right here, And that's what I was gonna say.
(30:03):
