Speaker 4 (02:45):
Story number one.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
There has been a lot of conversation about the Epstein files.
Any Democrats are now obsessed over the Epstein files and
trying to use anything where Donald Trump's name was used
to connect ten to some of horrific behavior without any
evidence to back it up. Well, while they're playing checkers,
Donald Trump is now playing chess. A pretty brilliant move

(03:10):
by President Donald Trump on Friday, he has now directed
the Justice Department to investigate the disgrace late financier Jeffrey
Epstein and his ties to several high profile Democrats as
well as certain banks. The President writing this now that
the Democrats are using the Epstein hoax involving Democrats not Republicans,

(03:33):
to try and deflect from their disastrous government shutdown and
all of their other failures. I will be asking the
Attorney General Pambondi and the Department of Justice, together with
our great patriots at the FBI, to investigate Jeffrey Epstein's
involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reed Hoffman,

(03:54):
JP Morgan Chase, and many other people and institutions to
determine what was going on with them and him. Trump
writing this on true Social this is another Russia Russia,
Russia scam, with all arrows pointing to the Democrats. He added,
records show that these men and many others spent large

(04:16):
portions of their life with Epstein and on his island.
Stay tuned now. In an earlier post on Friday, Trump
said that Epstein was a Democrat and therefore is the
democrats problem, not the Republican's problem.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
He also accused the.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
Democrats of doing everything in their withering power to push
the Epstein hoax again, despite the DOJ releasing more than
fifty thousand pages of documents. Trump said lawmakers should not
waste time looking into him and instead should focus on
the Democrats. He later named in the post, announcing the
pro Democrats, of course, are trying to use this to

(04:52):
hurt the president. What's interesting is if you go back
and look at the history of this. Democrats never gave
a damn a bout the victims. In fact, it's a
point that I brought up on Fox News Channel to
the Democrats face, saying, where were you guys when you
had the power to do something about this. Take a
listen to what I had to say on Abby Phillips

(05:12):
show on CNN. You guys gave us much thought and
much obsession over this when Joe Biden was president.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
I wish you were asking for this much transparency.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
When it wasn't about attacking the president of the United
States of America and we score political points. I wish
you guys cared about the victims as much as you
care about trying to attack Donald Trump. When CNN's own
reporting says, and I quote the woman who is the
survivor literally accused Democrats, not Republicans, of hiding her name
because she had not alleged.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Trump, Well, you're talking about anything wrong.

Speaker 6 (05:45):
You're talking about Virginia grew correct, who we just talked
about you. And my point is she died by it,
Just to be clear, shed.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
But that she accused Democrats when she was alive her
words of hiding her name because she had not alleged
Trump to have done anything wrong. That is how sick
and partisan this has become. You guys didn't care about
the victims, You didn't care about anything else. And now
you're saying, well, maybe Donald Trump knew of a crime
and maybe didn't report it.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
That's just straight up slander and libel.

Speaker 7 (06:16):
You're telling.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
To finish watch the crime.

Speaker 6 (06:22):
One thing up because I think this is important. I
don't want this mist information to be out there. When
Virginia Jeffrey said that Trump had not done anything wrong,
she was not accusing the Republicans accused Democrats of withholding
her name for that reason. She just separately said that
that she did not see Trump do anything untoward.

Speaker 5 (06:41):
That's that's that's the quint and so go back to
what he made.

Speaker 6 (06:46):
I don't want people to think that that it was
that's just responding to Democrats, which she was not.

Speaker 7 (06:51):
But go ahead, here's the thing. First of all, Joe
Biden was not on the plane. He was not made
you go jump to another because on the plane was
not there. Everybody said, well, Joe Biden didn't do whatever.
The Democrats were never saying, don't release the Republicans now
are saying don't release. That's not true.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
I've said release, stay consistent. I rea.

Speaker 8 (07:15):
Ironically, the reason this is such an issue right now
is because Republicans campaigned on it and made it. Frankly,
shame on the Biden DOJ for not having been more proactive,
and thank you to the Republicans. The manner is fear
all the bloggers, fear the Republican right wing who spent
the campaign making this into a big issue.

Speaker 5 (07:38):
And I'd say, now release it as long as you
protect the victim's release. But what you notice, Democrats, and
that's why I went back in history, they didn't care
about this at all. The only thing they want to
do now is hurt President Donald Trump. They want to
do anything they can to try to imply that he
did something terrible, that he did something that is like awful.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
He he didn't do anything wrong. That is the biggest
difference here.

Speaker 5 (08:03):
And so now with the President saying, Okay, DJ, you
guys want to go there, you want to play this game, fine,
we will investigate you. Now let's go through the names
of people. You notice he said Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton
has never been investigated for going to Epstein Island, flying
on his plane or any of the connections there, which,

(08:25):
by the way, also brings us to another story that
involves the Clintons. The Clinton Foundation, where money was flowing
in when Hillary Clinton was the Secretary of State and
running for president, is now the center of more attention. Now,
there's a part of this story that you may not
actually even know about, and that is the IRS actually

(08:46):
opened a criminal probe into the Clinton Foundation in twenty nineteen.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
But guess what.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
In twenty nineteen, a Democrat was in charge of the
White House, the FBI, and all of all four smith
So what happened? The investigation was abruptly stopped. Here's more
of the background on that story.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
And a criminal probe into the Clinton Foundation in twenty
nineteen but then suddenly stopped. That's according to new memos
detailing how agents suddenly cut off contact with whistleblowers after
months of cooperation. The National Newsdesk Jeff Harris joining us.
The federal government, as we know, has long been concerned

(09:29):
about the Clinton Foundation, But these memos they only add
to that worry. What are you learning tonight?

Speaker 9 (09:35):
So the memos detail how IRS agents abruptly cut off
contact with two whistleblowers, John moynihan and Larry Doyle. They
had been working with for several weeks now, several meetings
even taking place with them between January and April of
twenty nineteen, before then abruptly getting cut before losing contact. Moynihan,

(09:55):
a retired DEA financial crimes analyst, in Doyle, a corporate
tax compliance had spent years researching the Clinton Foundation, even
testifying before Congress.

Speaker 10 (10:05):
The investigation clearly demonstrates that the Foundation was not a
charitable organization per se, but in point of fact, was
a closely held family partnership.

Speaker 9 (10:17):
Just The News, reviewing internal IRS emails and memos, which
show an IRS office in New Jersey, initially took serious
interest in the allegations, meeting with the two in late
twenty nineteen, one memo reading in part quote they found
numerous problems with the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Foundation
was operating as a foreign agent, but weeks later the

(10:37):
agent's reversed course, saying quote, we can't talk about the CF.
Others looking into the foundation include author Peter Schweizer, who
spoke with the National Newsdesk Thursday morning about his own investigation.

Speaker 11 (10:48):
The Nigeria office had phone tapped interviews with Nigerian officials
saying that they had donated at the Clinton Foundation and
they were getting favors in returns.

Speaker 9 (10:58):
But the Clinton Foundation as denied any wrongdoing. Hillary Clinton
even pushing back when asked about possible pay for play
during her twenty sixteen presidential campaign.

Speaker 12 (11:08):
At the Clinton Foundation spend ninety percent ninety percent of
all the money that is donated on behalf of programs
of people around the world and in our own country.

Speaker 9 (11:19):
Now, just the News reports both moynihan and Doyle are
currently pursuing two whistleblower cases involving the Clinton Foundation. One
is tentatively scheduled for trial beginning December.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
First, here's what's interesting about this background of it stopping
this investigation twenty nineteen. Now the Trump administration has reopened
it and making it clear they're going to look into
a why it was stopped and what crimes could have
been committed. Again, the IRS opened the criminal probe and
they were shut.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Down by the Biden administration.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
This is truly shocking, but now we're going to get
some answers we're being told moving forward.

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant.
