Rod and Karen banter about buying Bevel at Ulta Beauty, wanting to be home,  inspection machines going down, falling, farting, and wigs coming off is always funny, writing bullets, and an off-limits touchdown celebration. Trump says he’ll impose tariff’s on foreign films, judge rules against the Trump administration targeting Palestinian activists, Cracker Barrell was a psyop, FBI fires agents who knelt for George Floyd, LGBTQ News, woman robbed in fast food drive thru, Panda Express attack, jeep driver attacks old friend and sword ratchetness.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
I listen to the Black Guy You Tips podcast because
Rod and Karen are hot. Hey, welcome to another episode
of the Black Autips podcast. I'm your host Rod, joined

(00:23):
us always by my co host Hearing, and we are
live on crowdcast waiting for Tammy B to get back.
She said she would be right back. Yep, but that
was two months, two minutes ago, and we had to
start the show because we was already a little bit behind.
So hopefully Timmy is not missing too much of this.
But if it goes too long, we'll send out a
search party for Tammy. Somebody got to know Tammy. I'm

(00:47):
sure she don't put a coworker on to the show,
and soon we'll have them go check on her, make
sure she all right, all right. The official weapon of
the show is holding chair and the unofficial sport football
and bullet ball. Extreme extreme, extreme extreme. Everything you need
to know is in the show notes everything, Amazon, wish list, Patreon, website, YouTube, email,

(01:13):
voicemail line. It's all there, Like I don't know what
you're looking at me for, Okay, So man, these shows
they don't even put nothing in there. They just be
telling you, like Kyl lumber or whatever. I'm telling you
it's right there. It's show fault. If you can't get
in contact with us. Where should we start? I guess
do you have any banter?

Speaker 2 (01:34):
I have?

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Okay, Karen has one banter? I think I have a
little bit too. Do you have any do you have
any levels? Do you have any banter?

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Banter?

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Banter? Banter? Banter? Do you have any banter?

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Talk to me?

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Do you have any? All right, Karen, I have a few.
I'll start and then you go, okay, all right. I
bought I needed some Bebel shaving cream, and I didn't
want to go to Amazon and wait for it to
get here. I needed to run some errands anyway, and
I couldn't go to the gym that day, so I
was like, you know what, I'm gonna take some time

(02:30):
to run some errands. So I found I googled Bebel
near me, and the two locations that popped up was Target.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Go to Target.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
You know, us, blacks, we're not going new.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
That's where you used to go because that was day,
would always have it.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Although the other day a friend who I won't say
their name, but a friend sent me a picture from
inside Target, and it was a picture that said, celebrate
Hispanic heritage, mom, and he said, oh, we're back to

(03:06):
which I replied, how did you take this picture?

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Yes? Is it are?

Speaker 1 (03:12):
They just sent me three laughing am. I won't say
whose name it is, but there are people that may
know who this person is, that may see and hear
them on our podcast from time to time. That's all
I'm gonna say. And you know when you hear this,

(03:33):
who you think it is, and you're right, it's him.
But I've said too much. But yeah, I went to
Alta because they have it apparently, and the Alta is
like it must be like a beauty store like make up.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
It is. It is ultra beauty, Ultra.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
I thought it was old Tota.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
I'm sorry, it's probably is Old Beauty is like where
well a lot of people go and then a lot
of times they connected to them all and sometimes they
have stand alone stool.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Is that where I got your Rihanna make up from? Okay?

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Because they normally have anything you could think of underneath
the moon they have at that stool.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
So they got one in the strip mall. So I
decided to go there because I know the location and
I like that it's not in them all mall right,
And so I go in and you know, as soon
as I go in, it is that thing where and
this happened when I bought Karen's makeup or for Christmas
or whatever. They definitely have the straight man alert that
goes out to let them know this man doesn't know anything.

(04:34):
It needs a lot of help. Yes, Like it's pretty obvious.
What else could you be coming in here for to
shoot the place up where you don't look like you
don't have a maga hat on some soon that you
need to buy something for a person that's not.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
You, right, And a lot of times they do, because
a lot of times some people come in there and
they have no idea what to buy or anything. Or
they'd be like, if you could just give me the basics,
I can kind of lead you in the right direction.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
So I go in there and there's this guy that
has like Matts Scara on, like like full like facefuol
beat yeah, like face beat to the gods. I was like,
and he was like, can I help you? And I
was like, yeah, I'm looking for some bevel And he
was a white dude, So I was like, you know,
hopefully he know. He was like, oh, yeah. For yeah,

(05:19):
I was over here. He showed it to me. I
was like, boom, thank you appreciate that. What do I
check out? I was like, oh, you just go back
towards the front. And I go to the front and
there's this black lady that was helping somebody else, but
she stopped and was like, oh, yeah, you need some help.
I was like, I just need to buy this bevel
and she was like okay, cool, and then she was
like so excited because she was like, oh, do you

(05:39):
know about this company? I was like, yes, they're black owned,
and she was like, but do you know who's invested?
And I didn't want to just be like Tristan Walker,
the inventor that the person who like email us and
got it was one of the first sponsors of the
blackout too, So I was just like, I mean, I know,

(06:04):
I was like, who's invested? And she was like and
the other and I did know this answer, but I
just she was so excited. Yeah yeah, so she was
like nah. I was like, yeah, yeah, he got something,
he got money and everything. I remember that. I remember
when he became an investor she was, and then I
thought we were I'm mistook this for a conversation, so

(06:24):
I thought we was both flexing back and forth. So
I was like, yeah, you know Tristan Walker, the guy
who founded it. She was like, oh he did did
found it? I was like, yeah, he used to. He
was one of the first sponsors of our part of
my podcast. And she was like, okay, okay, there'll be
seven nine five. I was like, damn, you don't care.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
This is a big this is a big deal. You
just met the person.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
I could give you more information for the next brother
that Bob Bel. You could blow they mind and be like,
did you know they used to sponsor black podcast in
the beginning and one of those podcasters came in.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
And do better than nods. So that was the end
of the conversation.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
She was not impressed at all.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Nope. I was like, now that you were gonna say
jay z Is, somebody will Beyonce. It did not matter.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
I could have been like, ma'am, I'm Tristan Walker, I
own Bebel and she still would have been like, yeah,
that's cool, you're not nad seven ninety five.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Yes, sir.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
It was really I hate the when that happens because
I thought I was I thought this person was interested
in talking about bebel with me, and as soon as
I showed some bebel acumens, she was out. And I
don't appreciate that all the beauty this lady tricked me
a fast friend.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
That's on your bad hilarious. I started thinking about just
like aging and things like that, and how when I
was younger, I wanted to be anywhere but home, and
as you get older, you want to be home, like
like your design when you're outside of the house, especially
for extensive amount of time or something like that, or

(07:57):
you're gonna like just way, or you're doing like business stuff,
you go, I would kill to.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Be home right now.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
But when you're a kid, I know, for me, home
I just did not want to be there. I wanted
to be anywhere else in the.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
World, but at the house.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
I think that's funny because that's more of an extrovert thing.
I think, okay, because as an introvert, I've always found
home to be the best. I love being home. I
love cancel plans. I love when you know, I love

(08:35):
when I can just be like, oh what am I
doing this weekend? Absolutely nothing, and it's so peaceful. So
maybe you're just an extrovert who's finally realizing the joys
of of of sitting still and not interacting with people
all the time. Don't but that it could just be that,
you know, and in some ways as an introvert, I'm
becoming more like, oh, yeah, you know, I do want

(08:57):
to go out and do this thing that I typically
would have been like up people, but now like, yeah,
I might go do that. So maybe it's just getting
older and you know, those the meetings somewhere in the middle.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
You know, I didn't even think about that, but that
is true because I do believe that that is kind
of the extrovert in me, going out and seeing things
and seeing people and just and just being a kind
of a like a busy body type of thing. But
you know, now I'm to the point to where and
also I think once you start paying for shit and

(09:30):
like that, you're like, oh no, no, no, no, no,
guess what, I could sit at home and watch the
game with it I'm paying for. I can sit at
home and sell on the couch I paid for and
burn the lights at the house, you know, I mean
type of thing like like like my perspective on a
lot of these things kind of change. I still do
enjoy going out. You know me, I really do enjoy

(09:52):
going out. I enjoy traveling, I doing things like that,
And I do think it's kind of like somewhere in
the middle, because like when we were talking about paying,
I was just shocked that you even wanted to go,
because I wanted to go, but I was like, I'm
not gonna ask for he don't like shit like that.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Now that my mind only, he don't like shit.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Almost with the festival in the park, but it was
it was like more. It was way more crowded I
thought it would be, and I didn't feel like dealing
with a crowd that night. But I almost did festival
in the park. But yeah, so I you know, I
think also going outside to walk and stuff helps because
I'm already outdoors and I'm seeing people a little bit

(10:28):
and going to the gym.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
So yeah, yeah, yeah, you make me think about festival
in the park because of out of walking trails and stuff.
We can probably park and just walk next time, like parking.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Oh yeah, I know where to park to walk over
there now, because I thought it would be even more crowded,
but I just I didn't really make a plan to go,
so it's more like a whatever, like if it's it
was like a sometimes I just have things on. I'm like,
if this is a low bar requirement, I'll do it,
but if it's a any level of a challenge that
I'm out. Guys, it's timing to be okay. In the chat,
I still don't see her back. She said she would

(10:59):
be right back. It's been a good ten minutes.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
She's just not tending to put out a app.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
He's missing some high quality banter. I went to get
your car inspected today because you it's about that time
for the inspection. And then I don't know how long
ago you had your oil change, but I figured it
was time for aill change because all the writing on
the sticker had disappeared faded, and I'm just sitting in

(11:29):
the sun, and I know we don't drive that car often,
but it's I'm more of a like if I'd rather
know my oil has been checked too soon, then get
a light that's like, hey, so you just driving with
no oil or whatever. So I agreed, so I went
to go get it inspected, and then while I'm there,
I'm like, can I get an oil change? And then

(11:51):
one of your tire pressure license on is like, let
me get the tires inflated and all that stuff. And
then while I was waiting, he uh. The guy comes
in and he's like uh. And he was very serious,
like a doctor or something. I don't know why he
was taking so seriously. He was like, sir, I know,
I told you the inspection is thirty minutes and then

(12:13):
it's ten minute wait on the aill change. But I
have some bad news to I talk to my manager
and the inspection machine just went down and we won't
We have to restart it. It takes thirty minutes and
then it may or may not come back up. At
that point. I'm so sorry.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
And I was like a lot of people snap with
stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
I was like, well, can we just do the oil
change and the tires and he was like yes, but
just so you understand, we can't do the inspection. I
was like, I understand. He's like you can wait, but
you can. I said, I know. He's like, I said,
I'll get inspected somewhere else to come back tomorrow something.
He was like, it might be up tomorrow. He went
and got like the woman that works the inspection machine.
He was like, please, don't me out like are you
gonna be here tomorrow? And I was like, what is happening?

(12:57):
This is like this is becoming way.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
More serious just due to all due to times.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
And he was like, he was like, just in case
you're giving up the energy, I want you to know
this is beyond my control and not my fault.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
And then like, I really think people has really become
worse people in my as I got older. I really
do think it's happened. I think the pandemic made it happen.
I think people must be worse people. And I'm not
saying it because I'm witnessing them be worse people. It's like,
this is a bit of a harsh analogy, but I'm
not saying this in a joking man, I mean this seriously.

(13:30):
It's like if you've ever been friends or known someone
a child that gets spankings or whippings or their parents
have hit them. There's a way that those kids react
to certain shit where you be like, WHOA, I was
not gonna do anything to you. You okay, little buddy,
this I'm safe a dot, I'm not threatening.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
I've seen it before.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
It fels like that, but everywhere, like waiters feel like that,
any public facing job.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
Seen it like in action because and I really do
think that overreaction was because some people do snap. So
it's like he kind of had it all planned out
just in case.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
It feels it just feels like we see it all
evidence of it all the time, like when we got
our when we got our vaccinations and how they do.
He was like, relieve we weren't crazy. He was, and
I was just like, this is this is a routine.
Just stick me with the needle thing. Yes, But he
was looking like, oh, thank god, we can talk right

(14:31):
before they might be listening.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
He was whispering.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
He was like, and the thing is, because you know,
I don't know everything, but I try to keep up.
And I understand like when you get shots and ship
like that, it doesn't prevent you from getting anything.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
It just makes it where, you know. And I said
that and he.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
Was like, yeah, I wish people would understand that.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Yeah, but he just they feel like relieved. It feels
like talking to like a victim of somebody or something
that you know. It's like you go to touch your
ear and they flinch and you're like, WHOA, I'm not
swinging at you? Are you okay? You know, anyway, he
gave me this whole spiel and then you know, I
have to get it inspected another day or at another place.
But the other thing that I didn't know the inspect

(15:13):
machine could just go down like the ice cream machine
and McDonald's.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
That doesn't seem like it.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
So what the fuck is the design of the machine?

Speaker 2 (15:20):
What is that?

Speaker 3 (15:23):
What?

Speaker 1 (15:23):
It don't do nothing, it's just a but like you're
just saying yes, yes, yes, yes, past send yes or
feel whatever you're checking for, like what like maybe but
you know what, I'm probably ignorant to it. It's probably
more difficult than I think, like maybe you have to
plug something in or but I just did something right.
I just don't know how it can go down like

(15:44):
that was so weird, Like I wonder if it's just
like they need a break. Like the person that did
it was like I don't feel like doing no more inspections.
It's like, oh God, I gotta go tell this guy
because literally the car before me had just gotten inspected.
That's what I was waiting on. And then her card
they gave us Black Lady her car back, and uh,
then all of a sudden, the inspection machine was down

(16:06):
and I was like, okay, Like I don't know what
that means exactly, but what the fuck am I gonna do?
Pull out a gun? You know you're gonna expect it,
like I'm John Q and I can't make you expect
the car a like I'm Denzel and John Q. You're
gonna expect my car getting up? Check that boy, you
better check them bricks.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
Like I don't.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
I don't like. I was like, I don't have a choice.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
Checked it. When when she wiped a.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Fluid, Yeah, I feel like it was because the black
lady that was in front of me was probably they
probably was like, she's cute, We're gonna do hers. This
guy he can wait till tomorrow. But uh, why is falling,
farting and Wiggs coming off always funny? But why?

Speaker 2 (16:46):
And it's somebody else?

Speaker 1 (16:47):
But why? I don't understand why it's funny. I get
that it is funny, but that's crazy that it's one
hundred percent always funny. Nothing should be one hundred percent
always funny. Yes, it's even when it happened to be proof,
even when it happens to me, it's funny. It's not

(17:08):
when it happened to somebody. You said what has happened
to someone else?

Speaker 2 (17:11):
I think, like, I mean, I see the videos I fall.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
In and laughed at myself more than once.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
You know what, I have to right, Okay, I'll take that.
I take that back then, I have to. I thought
I tripped up stuff. I had this skirt that was
it was. I was walking across campus in college and
I had this skirt that was long, and I didn't
realize when I stepped up, I had caught the skirt
on my step up and next thing you know, I

(17:38):
didn't fall, but I like tripped and like stumbled forward
and busted out laughing. And I think a lot of
people around me were going to panic because they was like,
oh my gosh, and then they see me laugh and
it caused them to calm down and they started laughing too.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
But it was just one of those things. But yeah,
it feels funny.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
I fell coming down some stairs with the coworker once
in the rain, like that's my pants up and everything,
and like my like I was basically where my legs
were pinned underneath me and I still was laughing, like
I was like, and they was like, are you okay?

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Man?

Speaker 1 (18:08):
I was like, I mean, yeah, I mean, I'm humiliated,
but what can you do about it? And the reason
I thought about this because I was watching one of
these TV shows that I watched on Hulu that's just
basically a collection of all kinds of videos that were
viur videos and then some snarky white man or somebody

(18:29):
doing the narration.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
I think, I like one of them was the best.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
And one of them was a woman on a roller
coaster and she was trying to record herself on a
roller coaster and her wid came off and then she
her friend laughed and she laughed, and then like it
was just funny.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
She started to cracking jokes.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
And I was just like, man, that's crazy. It's always funny.
And I don't know why. I mean, I was laughing too,
but it's I don't know how, but it's somehow always funny. Now,
later you may go back and think about the context
and it don't be funny, but in the moment it
be fun Like even when it's something fucked up where
it's like, oh man, this dude, uh, this woman got

(19:07):
in a fight and then this other woman pulled her
wig off in the middle of fighting. Now they are fighting.
That's a serious thing.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
Yes, it is.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
They could be fighting about anything, but something about that
we're coming off for a second. It's like, oh, I
mean yes, let it go.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
And sometimes that's the response from the person, which makes
it even funnier.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
Yeah, and I messed up, but I just thought of
this tag to the inspection machine going down. Who's inspecting
the inspection machine?

Speaker 2 (19:33):
I have no idea.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Do they have another machine that inspects the inspection machine?
Backup where they drive around to all the other like
places they do inspections and be like, it's time to
inspect the inspection machine. Maybe this, maybe this place's inspection
machine for cars was past inspection possibility.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
I'm just saying it would not be.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
The rabbit hole gets deep, somebody probably does inspect those machines,
like because they inspect every god that something else.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
I only have two more, but they're both dark, okay,
and then we can move into other stuff. We are
now at a point where we have so many of
these mass shootings that we're jumping the no pun intended,
we're jumping the gun like we are getting just the

(20:22):
barest information, and then we're all spiraling into what must
have happened, right, and it's getting bad. The other day,
I saw a car a truck that drove into a
church through and then the guy went in there and
killed the people in the church. Yes, And when they

(20:43):
showed a picture of the truck, and this is all
I had to go on, just a picture of the truck.
I not no picture of the person. Nothing. The truck
had two big ass American flags flying from the back.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
I assume that was not I am need lead, was like,
I know who this guy is. Now.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
It's the worst part is that later, of course, they
do confirm the guy, and I'm like, I know it
was that guy, Like that that guy, right, we.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
Y'all know that guy.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Can you even think of the over conversation of not
one but two American flags flying from the back of
your pickup truck, Like we all know that guy. You
never looked over in traffic into the cabin of that truck.
It's always a truck, and being like, oh, I thought, huh,
since we know is that guy anyway? But the thing is,
we're having some of these mass shootings and shit, and

(21:35):
I don't want to assume, so I'm like, no, I'm
not gonna just start be like, oh, he must have
been maga he must have been liberal. He must have
been I'm just gonna I wait for the information. I
will wait for the information to come out like the
rest of us should. And that is when the fbon
cash but tale reveals what's written on the bullets. That's

(21:57):
how we know who's doing this stuff. Okay, when they
find the bullets and what is ever written on them,
that's how we know the motive anti ice uh cash
just fascist uh uh you know, uh taste great less feeling.

(22:17):
I don't know what they be writing on these bus
but clearly that's how we have to do investigations. Now
we're waiting for bullet writings something market.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
How do you write on the bullet.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
Something we used to never have to wait for, Like,
I don't know how much you know we I think
we need to put a seventy two hour hold on
Sharpie's Okay.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Yeah, come on, permanent marker.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
I don't think you should be able to go into
an office, Max and walk out with one.

Speaker 3 (22:46):
Of these down to tell you that shit online. Like
for the sheet seat cushion.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
You should have to put a hold on it so
that you can't bodge. You can't go in and purchase
a sharpie the same day, because obviously we've given up
on the guns. You could bodge gun tonight and be
having a You can be like, I'm gonna go to
the store and buy a gun. I'll be right back
and literally, yes you can. You can do that in America.
You can go get you a gun, but a sharpie.
Maybe we need to do some id checks. Okay, maybe

(23:13):
we need to start.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Here's an investigations.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
You need to close the sharpie loopholes in America.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
Come on, sharpe loopholes because maybe we'll save a life.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
Think about it.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
If you can't write down the message of why you
doing all these killings, you're gonna stop for a second
and be like, well, I gotta wait till my sharpies
get here.

Speaker 3 (23:32):
So we stopped doing manifesto. We ain't got time for that.
Just write them on the bullet.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Caring we're not a literate country anymore, that's true. We
stop long form reading. These guys, aren't. They don't even
need manifestos. They're just trying to summarize it in one
hundred and forty characters on a case of bullets, Like,
ain't nobody got time to read all that?

Speaker 2 (23:52):
If I said lock the shoppy up with the black
hair products.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Yeah. I think about it all the time too, whenever
someone does write a manifesto because they are getting shorter,
Like Elliott Rodgers manifesto was like one hundred and forty pages,
and that's what I said, too long, didn't read happy
sad for you. I don't know, but like that's too much.

(24:15):
But now they've taken the notes and they're like, okay,
a paragraph. Now we're just getting hashtags. Now, we're just
getting you know, what's next on these bullets emoji's. This
is gonna be like, Oh, I think it's an eggplant
woman running church church. I guess he didn't like trans

(24:41):
women in sports. I don't know what he was. I
don't know, but that's what the killer did, guys, And
let's figure it out, you know, let's we'll get we
get our best guys on it.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
For some reason, the emoji investigators, oh my gosh, I
didn't even think about that. They're gonna have to be
a police a division of the police department. The whole
job is gonna have to be the discliph for these
fucking emojis.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Yeah, they're gonna have fucking law and order emoji's division
and ship right like Ice Tea gonna be like he left. Uh,
these kids are losing, leaving, leaving ghost e moojis with
water guns and fire symbols some type of calculator anyway. Uh,

(25:25):
Like I said that was a dark one, but it's true.
It's true. And lastly, and this might be the darkest one,
but I think I came up with a way to
end all the NFL touchdown celebrations if somebody really wanted
to now, it's not gonna happen. I love touchdown celebrations,
but part of the reason I love him is I
like when people go crazy and do too much and

(25:48):
the league has a love hate relationship with it.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Right.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
I remember they had a running back for the Cowboys
that jumped into the the like Salvation Army buck they
had on the sideline, and they find him a bunch
of money for doing that, But then at the same
time they use it in advertisements and promotions for games
later in the season like that. It was one of

(26:12):
the clips they showed and I was like, now, how
the fuck you gonna find make money off of me?
Both ways? But I think the problem is if you
really want to end all celebrations. Somebody needs to take
it too far. It's the only way that's gonna work.
And I think somebody should reenact like if a defensive
touchdown score, so you got a bunch of people that

(26:33):
because now to getting everybody in on the act, that's
all routine. It'd be like six people coordinated like TikTok
dances off things. I think somebody should reenact the scene
from Roots where that Toby got his name changed. He
got it well, Kent Takumta got his name changed to Toby.
And it need to be like a white wide receiver

(26:55):
or somebody beating like a black player, like just pantomime
and obviously the whip and then you know with the
black person, like the hand up like that. I feel
like that would be the celebration that would officially end
all celebrations.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
Everybody would'all had.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
To get touchdowns and walk away.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
Here. You're better. The most you might can do it
spike the ball. That's all we.

Speaker 1 (27:15):
Want, right, So I don't know, give a little.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Towel, that's it. No celebrations for nobody. Y'all don't know
how to act.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
Yeah, and then and in my spare time sometimes I
think of like, because every celebration just about it has
been done, but I try to think of ones that
haven't been done, and normally that leads me down a
rabbit hole of like, oh, it has to be a
touchdown celebration that's off limits, you know, like somebody could
do a mass shooting celebration. Oh Noel, I feel like baby,

(27:46):
I feel like we probably did that once and then
that's why they banned any gun celebrations. But I do
feel like a mass shooting celebration, you could then use
it to elevate the cause of getting guns off the streets,
know what I'm saying. Like, you could be like, we
need gun control, that's why we reenacted that shooting. Now,
more than likely they will band you from the league

(28:07):
and you'll be fine and you'll never work again. But
for unless you're like Patrick Mahons. Patrick Mahons could do it.
That's what he should do with his voice. He should imitate,
and then when people get mad, he'd be like, y'all,
don't be mad when they happen. Not mad enough for
gun control.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
But that's a statement.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
Message right anyway, those are mine. I told you. All Right,
let's get into politics. To know she was black until
the number of years ago when she happened to turn black,
and now she wants to be known as black. People
have got to know whether or not their presidents are crooked.
But why not a cruk? I learned everything I've got

(28:49):
saying in Tennessee. I know it's affection probing Quinn Street,
but just.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
Doing me want you know, shame on, Shame on me, shame.

Speaker 1 (28:57):
On, shame on you, shame you, shame We can't get
full again.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
Tell you what I don't know about you, but I'm
going to go to bed.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
I'm Trump threatens tariffs on imported furniture and foreign films.
I think he may have been paying attention to the
Hollywood news of late and saw that Demon Slayer. The
movie has made more money than Superman, Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts

(29:30):
and many other American films with I think it had
a six hundred million or something. And so I'm pretty sure,
because this motherfucker doesn't do nothing but watch TV and
scroll social media while not being a good president, I'm
pretty sure that he saw that and then truth social doubt.

(29:51):
H I'm about to do some terrffs on Hollywood foreign
films petty stupid, so we can't enjoy shit like I
mean this movie, and you can only enjoy American movies,
is what he's saying. What And I would say if
I was a guy like him, what I wouldn't want
to do to do this weekend is have everybody go

(30:11):
out and support one battle after another. Like if I'm him,
like you sure he wants to support American films because
I feel like that's a film I'd love for everybody
to watch together. Let's sit down and take a gander
that Bill bullshit, like I mean that the shit that's
going on in life, not the film, but yeah, like
just just a petty, attention seeking person. And there's so

(30:35):
many things happening in the world. Why do you even
have time to do this?

Speaker 2 (30:39):
Because he's not doing his job, right?

Speaker 1 (30:44):
And who knows if it's true because it's true social
right maybe like and once again with Trump it's chaos, right,
so who knows he true socials just out then maybe
or maybe not. One day he does one of these
executive order signing things or gives a speech or says
it in an interview, who fucking knows? And then what

(31:06):
happens does that really happen. Do movie ticket prices go up?
How long do they go up? Does somebody sue? Will
a judge overturn it? Will the Supreme Court over overturn it?
I don't fucking know, because all this dude does is
goet chaos.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
That that's what he does. He ain't got nothing else
to do, right.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
But yeah, was anyone asking for this?

Speaker 2 (31:28):
Nope?

Speaker 1 (31:29):
Like, and not to mention like even these billionaires that
be in his pocket sucking his dick, they are all
up in the foreign film A lot of time content.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
That's how they get here because they don't me to
go through like in American Company, So a lot of
times to get to the States, right.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
And furniture too. So anyway, let's see what else he
did or it's going on?

Speaker 2 (31:52):
And furniture what? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (31:54):
And furniture yeah? Uh. Trump backed targeting of pro Palestinian
campus activists for deportation is unlawful, said a US judge. Yes, right,
we know it's unlawful. It's against the First Amendment. Here's
the question, though, what do you do when they already

(32:20):
underported some of these people, or they've been holding these
people for months and their lives have been disrupted.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
Jobs, they lost their homes.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
You know, depend on the situation. You may have lost
custody of your children. Now you got to fight to
get them back.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
And the thing is, look, I hate to say it
because I know it sounds cold, but I'm not saying
it to be cold. But this would not happen under
democratic president ever. Like you might have opposition. They won't
like it. They will they will feel that you're being
unfair to them, whatever. But those are the only motherfuckers

(32:56):
that believe in some level of democracy that were Like
one of the reasons that you don't see me on
here shouting down people that are activists and shit like
that is because I truly believe that in the best days,
the best of cases, it is activism that pushes good
intention politicians to where they need to be, whether it

(33:18):
be for moral reasons or even just cynical I would
like to get reelected reasons. I don't really care. I
really only care about the results. So you won't see
me being like, you know, shut the fuck up, leave
Comela alone or whatever. I get it, Like I don't
in my heart or hearts, I'm like, I don't know
that this is gonna help tonight.

Speaker 2 (33:36):
But who knows.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
You never really know. You're making people know these are
issues that matter to you. What I do push against
is once you make it so that those people lose,
they're not in power, and then you're still protesting them
and not the people who have the power. That just
feels like a waste of all time.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
Okay, if you like, go put the fear, go.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
Put the fear into them. But y'all won't because they're targeting.
They're actually making you pay for your freedom of speech,
actually violating it. They're actually not here to listen. They're
locking you up. I don't want to see anybody get
locked up. But I'm just saying, you're just saying, I
just think it's safe to try to sabotage Alex Padilla,

(34:19):
who's already on record being you know, or on your
side of things. Nah fuck that, he doesn't have any power.
Let's go fuck with him, you know, let's go fuck
with AOC A person's who supported us and been on
our side. It's just more of a like that just
feels like people trying to be safe and not trying
to be strategic or smart. But either way, I'm not

(34:42):
wanting anyone to go to jail. I just think the
law rue is so much slower than the Trump administration moves.
And I don't even know where these people are now.
Some of these people are probably not in this country anymore.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
Right, I already remember me ever coming back, I remember reading.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
Stories beginning this where people was like, I don't actually
know where my loved one is. I know they were taken,
I have not seen them. I gotta go find someone
to take my case and badger this administration to live
up to the rights. The human rights that have been
up until now seemingly just a given in these situations

(35:24):
where even when, like I said, this isn't a Democrats
a perfect podcast. I'm saying, even when you were like, man,
I don't know if what they're doing is right, there's
steps where it's like, okay, you do get to see
your loved one, we do have to tell you where
they are. We do you know they're not doing that stuff,
and they're wantingly and openly anti when the judges rule

(35:48):
against them like they're trying to they are doing this
on purpose. The cruelty is the point. Yes, so I
appreciate this judge, but once again, what happens as this
escalades and they keep fighting and that goes to Supreme Court.
Then where where are we gonna be right?

Speaker 3 (36:03):
And it's also, like you said, it's also one of
the things for me, I'm not gonna say I have
mixed feelings.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
Uh, they're things that kind of irritate me.

Speaker 3 (36:16):
When you know, if you're gonna protest, part of protesting
is you're not always gonna be safe. Part of protesting
is actually going against the system like like like that,
like that's part of protesting who's ever in office and
who's ever in charge. Part of protesting is trying to
get them to see your perspective. But we are to

(36:37):
a point now where the people in charge now not
only do they don't want to hear you, they won't
allow you to. Not only would they not allow you to,
they will lock you up and arrest you. That is
completely different. Then you interrupting and they're going, okay, guys,
I hear you out. These people go, I don't give
what y'all talking about. Y'all y'all not out here for

(36:58):
my calls, So fuck y'all and fuck you. And so
it's for me it becomes very very and and and
and I guess for me, because I think about people
that protested civil rights and all that shit.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
They went out there and got their asses whooped and
all that shit.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
I'm not saying that that's what you need to do,
but if you're really about that life, that's like, like
right now is testing your resolve.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
I don't mean no harm.

Speaker 3 (37:25):
Like, it's easy to go up and get to somebody
who you're trying to push a little further to the left.
It's easy to interrupt somebody to be like, I hear you.
It's easy to interrupt those people because they are concerned
and they care about your humanity. Even if we don't
see eye to eye, I see you as a human being.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
I hear you. I will take these things.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
But also, like Obama said, don't move oked like, but
also you got to put me in a position where
the shit that you want done I can do. You
can't have ask it. And then when I'm no longer here,
the other person is silence.

Speaker 1 (38:00):
Oh, Tammy is back, guys, A long national nightmare is over.
Tammy is she is back with all right, Oh that
was intense.

Speaker 2 (38:11):
We were looking for you. Put out an app for you.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
Yeah, cracker barrel outrage was almost certainly driven by bots.
Researchers say, it's from gizmoto. Uh, did something feel off
about the whole cracker barrel tobaca to you? Did you,
in the midst of the endless stream of outrage directed
at the Southern Country style restaurant, pause and think there's
just no way anyone cares about the cracker Barrel logo
this much? Right, Well, you might have been onto something.

(38:36):
According to data compiled by intelligence platform Peak Metrics, nearly
half of the early post about Cracker Barrel's logo change
appeared to be generated by bots. I'm telling you, I'm
not a fucking conspiracy theorist, but if there's a conspiracy
I totally believe in it is that a lot of
what we're experiencing on social media, these constant storms of

(38:57):
outrage and controversy that just keep you scrolling and keep
you engaged and have you walking around because our brains
are still lizard brains and they can't really tell the difference,
but they have you walking around like this is a
real thing when it's fucking not. I think this is
a great one because for most people, they'll accept that

(39:18):
this may be manufactured just because it doesn't matter to them.
I agreed, right like, you're not invested in If you're
listening to us right now, more than likely you didn't
give a fuck about this one at all. Even if
it would have been one hundred percent real, you would
have been like, I still don't give a fuck.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
But I'm eating at cracker Bear. I'm not but be
doing here.

Speaker 1 (39:37):
So this is an easy one for all of us
to probably listen in the touch and agree and go,
you know what, they do be fucking with us. I
don't know who the they is meaning. I don't know
that it's Twitter hitting a button, but Twitter has allowed
for buttons to be able to be pushed yep, by
allowing such a low bar for who is on their platform,

(39:58):
changing the verification thing to just if you can pay
for it, you can have a blue check that kind
of stuff. Peak Metrics grabbed a sample of fifty two
thousand posts made on Twitter within the first twenty four
hours of Cracker Barrel's announcement that it would be modernizing
its logo to an admittedly very plain and generic design.
In that timeframe, it found that forty four point five

(40:19):
percent of all mentions of cracker Barrel were flagged as
likely or higher by activity. Those numbers climb even higher
when a boycott is mentioned. About one thousand posts in
that first twenty four hour period called on people to
stop eating cracker barrel, and forty nine percent of those
posts got flagged as likely coming from bots. And it's report.

(40:39):
Peak Metrics states that the boycott was unlikely to be
an organic grassroots response, but they bought assisted amplification seated
by mean activist accounts.

Speaker 3 (40:49):
Yes, and like you say, because it's something like this
if we don't give a fuck, but there are other
things that infect our community that we actually engage in.

Speaker 2 (40:58):
That is that's what started by bots.

Speaker 1 (41:01):
That's what's got that.

Speaker 2 (41:02):
Conspiracy theories and shit like that.

Speaker 3 (41:05):
You know, it's actually started by bots, y'all. Like, not
that I'll love it, but some of a lot of
it is.

Speaker 1 (41:10):
But not just conspiracy theories though, because I bring this
up on here and and like I said, those everyone
who's in it, you will not be able to I
think hear me say these things are manufactured without taking
it either as an insult of I've been fooled and
it got me, or Rod doesn't know what the fuck

(41:32):
he's talking about. This is real, I've seen it, right.
But I think that what these things do is they
start with either some genuine grievance, yes, with just a
few people, not everybody, just a few people genuinely agreed,
or it starts like this where it's mostly just bots

(41:52):
and it never really nobody ever really.

Speaker 2 (41:53):
Gave a fuck agreed.

Speaker 1 (41:55):
But there are people that are invested in fucking with
our minds and knowing that we can controllable. And a
lot of times, even when it's something that I think
is either valid or something I agree with, it is
the level that these things rise to that is suspicious
to me. So a big one from me was Caitlin

(42:16):
Clark Angel Rea.

Speaker 2 (42:18):
Yes, that didn't make no sense.

Speaker 1 (42:20):
I would watch people, real people that I knew, go
back and forth with fake people that were not real right,
And I am convinced that that was like a psyop,
like they know, because because even if there are what
happens is these things end up overlapping, meaning that we

(42:40):
use the evidence that the psyop is working on certain
people as evidence that the original thing was real, and
I think we're working backwards. That's my guess. I don't
have it dissolved, just my hypothesis. But it's like this,
For example, if I said, if you have the bots
that go, let's escalate this Land Clark Angel Reese beef thing.

(43:02):
Now that thing was real, Like that, that whole thing
was real. People saw that, people at comments, but making
it the number one topic in the world for a
month after mall that to me is not necessarily real.
That's when it starts to mesh into like some of
this is us escalating things and being fake, and some
of this is real people picking up the torch and going,
I'm Dave Portnoy, and I think y'all are being racist

(43:24):
to Kaitlin Clark. Do I have a history of being
a race vader and a toxic person? Sure, but now
it becomes even more real, right because I see him
in addition to the box, and I'm like, there are
a lot of people that feel this way. But then
in real life, if you attend a game, very rarely
do you see that type of racist vitri y'all in
a w NBA game more than likely and most right,

(43:48):
and mostly because you'll get your motherfucking ass work. Like
you can tell people that ain't never been to a
w NBA game or been out the house because I'm like,
show up in that black face bullshit. I know you
will be singled out. It's not gonna be a roll
of y'all, like it's gonna be your ass and then
you're getting kicked out or you're gonna like they don't
play that shit. But my point being though, and then't

(44:11):
at some point it can become real, like the Crackerbearel
thing became real. That's why it's important that they said
within the first twenty four hours, because after twenty four hours,
you're seeing people on Fox News. Yes you seeing right,
And it's just say something that the news worked backwards, right,
meaning fake Twitter turned it into real somewhat real Twitter,

(44:34):
real people into now it's a news story that's being
covered on the AP. It just says something, man, And
that's one we can all go, Yeah, that was stupid
and we it felt stupid the whole time, and now
we have it makes sense.

Speaker 3 (44:49):
Right, And I was like, who actually is really they
could have changed it and and and let's say they
would have changed it and not made a post and
not did anything.

Speaker 2 (44:57):
Nobody would have cared.

Speaker 1 (44:58):
But shouldn't it really fucking scare all of us a
little bit that real people with platforms were commenting on
this thing with sincerity. Yes, meaning we watched right wingers
actually weaponize people to harass Cracker Barrel, to try to

(45:20):
fuck with their stock, to try to fuck with to
boycott the restaurant until until they took DEI off of
their pages and website. We had nothing to do with
this whole controversy, if you remember, it was just a
logo change, and they changed the logo back. That should
scare the shit out of people. I think the Jimmy
Kimmel thing was like that. I do really, I think

(45:41):
this shit is happening all the time, and it shouldn't
necessarily be scary that people are attempting to make it happen.
It should be scared we continuously fall for it. And
now that they know how yeah, now that they have
a whole groom section of political America, you know, the

(46:03):
maga people at a hair's like at a hair trigger.
They're ready to go off on the next person without
any any interrogation of what is actually happening, and that
the America is not designed to not treat those people seriously,
like like if America was like, you guys are tripping Uh,
we don't give a fucking you tank the stock. That's

(46:25):
just you're being stupid. Things will go back to normal soon,
fuck y'all. Cracker Barrel staying the same, But we America's
not like that. America's like, get Jimmy Kim off there.
Oh oh shit, good, change the logo back. Oh god, Like,
keep in mind when we have very real shit like
what's going on with target? Target slow to respond. They
don't want to say shit, They don't, you know, if

(46:45):
not for justin sentiment, Oh did I say who it was?

Speaker 3 (46:49):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (46:50):
I'm bad bad cats at the bag. Oh no he
is anyway, he don't listen to the regular show.

Speaker 1 (46:58):
But if not for at I'm over reason on Twitter
telling me that Hispanic Heritage Monk was back in there,
I'd have no reason to believe that. So yeah, it
just says a lot that these things are affecting our
reality because this is it becomes real, it becomes offline.

(47:18):
At some point, Cracker barrel shit became offline. Our brains
are fucked. Somebody made a thing out of nothing, and
then within forty two hours or whatever, forty eight hours
it was cracker barrels is writing apologies and.

Speaker 3 (47:35):
Also the thing is like a lot of shit and
nobody knows what that thing is because shit happens all
of the time, and these bots do this all of
the time, so a lot of times they do shit
and some shit just don't catch you on not trying
to be funny, like like people have had to realize
these bots they're designed to consistently do shit, and.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
Our brains like it. Yes, that's what is. That's what's
difficult for people to accept because if you don't accept
that part, you can talk to yourself into like my
brain strong.

Speaker 2 (48:04):
And you can't fool me. Anybody can get got.

Speaker 1 (48:07):
But you become so certain in your certainty that you
can't be fooled, that you're so easily fooled, and then
you start making a lot of truth because it's like, no,
they didn't that really happened. Like I don't know how
many times somebody's been fooled by like AI or something.
Oh my god, Karen, if you knew how many times
someone dms me on Instagram something they would like us
to cover on the show, especially sports things, and it's

(48:31):
like I immediately know it's AI, and I'm like a
little bit like, how did you not know or do
you think I'm stupid?

Speaker 2 (48:40):
Like what right? Because like, why would you send me this?

Speaker 1 (48:42):
Like it would be big news, the biggest story if
a coach said like cause when I tell y'all these
AI things, it's like a coach of the press conresce
like Mike Mike McDon daniels or whatever his name is
for the and instead of him doing like his you know,
it sounds close enough to him, but the voice is
always off with the lips. But they'll say something that's
so crazy that you're like, there's no way Instagram saw it,

(49:06):
but Sports sent it won't like Mike mcdaille.

Speaker 2 (49:09):
In ESPN, nobody else is covering this.

Speaker 1 (49:11):
SE's at the press conference and being like, well, you
know the problem with my team is that there are
a bunch of sambo blacks who run too fast because
they have fast twitch muscles and they all have the
IQ of monkeys. And I'm like, why did you send
me this? Right? I'm like, do you not know that
this is fake? This is fake? Like and then they'll

(49:32):
be like, and I think what happens? I think a
lot of times because they don't say ha ha, this
is fake. They just send it to you like did
you see this? Then I say this is fake? Then
they go ha ha, I know, man, just messing with you.
And I'm like, no, you're not, because if you are
just messing with me, it's double fuck you. I could
have covered this on the show thinking you was sick.

(49:52):
You didn't send it to me and go this is fake.
You send it to me like it was real. Imagine
I'm on balls these sports, like did you hear the
press com that was what Mike McDaniel's called everybody on
the team jiggaboo monkeys. And then everybody's like, Rod, that
didn't happen when they have covered that on sports And
and now I'm stupid by transit of property, of trusting you.

Speaker 3 (50:10):
And on top of that, like a lot of shit,
people don't always actually listen and read it, like they
don't pay the shit, they just send it.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
But the biggest thing I wanted to get back to
they wanted.

Speaker 2 (50:18):
To be true. Our brain they wanted to be true.

Speaker 1 (50:21):
Your brains want certain things to be true.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
Yeah, we have biases. Everybody does. And that's why when
you hear certain things sometimes that aren't the truth, you're
willing to roll with it.

Speaker 3 (50:31):
A lot of times without doing any form of investigation,
critical thinking or challenging or anything, because you already want
to believe it and it's really easy to get in
that trap.

Speaker 1 (50:40):
We're letting ourselves be trolled out of our democracy and
it's fucking insane to watching Will Tom. They didn't just
stick to Twitter either. They did it on true social
Twitter knockoffs getter and gab four chan and rumble. Over
those platforms, posters regularly tied the cracker Barrel logo name
change to those terms woke and DEEI because apparently one
of the demands of left its extremist groups is conforming

(51:03):
to sands seraph supremacy. The fact that someone wrote that,
and which to me, I think if your listening should
sound like if anything may be comical, like ha ha,
that's funny, leftists won't saying seraph. The fact that someone
could write that and people's brains have been so smoothed
out over the course of how many years of social

(51:25):
media that there's enough people that made it a real
life thing is crazy crazy, Oh my god. So yeah.
August nineteenth. The announced the logo. September fifth, after the
company wrote they rolled back the logo deleted LGBTQ and
DEI pages on their website.

Speaker 3 (51:48):
So yeah, you know, a lot of stuff happening. A
lot of people have slowly got rid of DEI, Like.

Speaker 1 (51:55):
You know, but forget that part that's I'm saying, and
this was fake, Yes it was. And what's really scary
is at the end something that started with almost half
of the people talking about it were bots forty four percent,
and the end seventy five percent of the people were real.

Speaker 2 (52:17):
Once it started to grow, yeah.

Speaker 1 (52:19):
They're I know it sounds crazy, but they can control
our brains to a certain extent.

Speaker 3 (52:25):
They can and and and it's I think the scariest
part from me. And we've kind of said, this is
very very hard to find the truth now because the
people whose job it was to get the truth out
have lost their jobs. Their positions have been eliminated trying
to ai it up or trying to cut cons and

(52:48):
shit like this, Like you know, I know we joke
about it, but editors and proofreaders, like like those people's
job the jobs were real serious, like they were the
person when you wrote some bullshit they were reading. But
like that's what the fucking runout on. Since get this
out my face, so they ever read it, they would
be like, I'm can you verify this?

Speaker 2 (53:05):
Who is your sours? Like what are you doing here?
And they would send it back to you. You didn't
have a log going that you could.

Speaker 3 (53:10):
Put misspelled shit out there and tit sining that everybody says, yay,
you couldn't do that.

Speaker 2 (53:15):
They was like, no, bitch, we have a chain of command.

Speaker 3 (53:19):
Here, and we have a person whose whole job is
to be sure we do not put out bullshit.

Speaker 2 (53:24):
Who, what we wear, why and how. We don't care
about any of that anymore.

Speaker 1 (53:29):
And it's not just truth, but it's scale, meaning how
big a deal is this? I find that to be
almost as disturbing. Like one of the things I'm going
through now with the podcast. You know, we talk sports
every week my algorithm, because I'm such an NBA fan
and I love the league, I love basketball. I am

(53:51):
seeing an exorbitant amount of Kawhi Leonard, no show job
LA Clippers tweets. So I follow pablot and he follows me,
so that could be part of it too, But I'm
seeing so many It's like, is this the only thing
people care about? Because clearly this is the biggest fucking

(54:14):
deal in sports today. And then I turn on my TV.
I go to websites to look research, you know, sports stuff.
For the podcast, it's mentioned, but it ain't the number
one anything.

Speaker 2 (54:28):
They talk about all types of other Like you, you
turn on and and you.

Speaker 1 (54:32):
Can't chalk this up to where the league is in
business with the TV station. No no, no, no no no,
not for the NBA. You might could pull that shit
out with the NFL, right like you could do that.
You could do that with the NFL.

Speaker 2 (54:46):
You can't do that with the.

Speaker 1 (54:47):
NBA, though, because the NBA is very much like, uh,
if you want to ship on us, we're not gonna
stop you. Right, So if Steven A. Smith wants to
go on tomorrow and be like, let me tell you
how fucked up, then stupid the NBA is the Adam
Silver is never gonna be like, hey man, Steven ain't
cut that ship out right, you know, David Stern might have,

(55:08):
but Adam Silver's not. So my point is, if they
did want to make the Kawhi Leonard story the number one,
the a Block story every morning on First Take and
Get Up and Pat McAfee and Breakfast Ball and the
facility which don't exist anymore and sported hoops.

Speaker 2 (55:28):
But they was real shows and talk Talk It.

Speaker 1 (55:31):
Bounce or whatever. They got a Fox Sports one I
guess Barstool in the Morning or whatever. They could make
it the number one if.

Speaker 2 (55:40):
They wanted to write and they talk about.

Speaker 1 (55:42):
Well, I was gonna say, but you would almost think
you would want to make it number one because that's
the league that'll let you talk ship like football will
be like shut the fuck up.

Speaker 2 (55:51):
Yeah, they will be.

Speaker 1 (55:52):
Tyriek Hill is getting sued by his ex wife for
domestic violence, and every day I will watch a sports show,
they'd be like, the Kansas City Chiefs need to look
into getting Tyreek Hill back on their team, and not
no one was mentioning like what if he ends up
on the commissioner exemplest you done trade it some first
round picks and now you look up halfway through the
season or I don't know what round you look up

(56:15):
in October and he's like, no one's even mentioned this
dude is accused of being a horrible person. It barely
comes up and I saw it covered for like ten
seconds during a live broadcast on Amazon. People shared the
clip online like why they do him like that. Yes,
I can't believe they would.

Speaker 2 (56:32):
Bring it up. You were like, bitch, it matters.

Speaker 1 (56:35):
So this is my point, right, that is keen. So
I get it. If you were to tell me that
NFL flex is power to be like, don't make that
a story, right, They don't the NBA don't flex like that,
And you would think this would be a bigger story,
actually than any basketball related fucking story, to be like,
look at this shady shit. When I tell you, I
barely see it anywhere other than my Twitter, But on

(56:56):
my Twitter, I see it every day all the time, and.

Speaker 3 (57:00):
It appears that it's the number It's an illusion that
it's the number one story, but it's not.

Speaker 1 (57:03):
So the point I'm bringing up is not to be like,
whether you think that story is valid or not, it's
to be that my algorithm is trying to convince me
it is not only just a valid story, it is
the only story. It is what everyone cares about. If
you tweet about it and I follow you, it makes
sure I see that before anything else you said today.

(57:25):
And I'm aware of the pushing and I think a
lot of people just be on social media and you
either forget that to be aware of it, or you
just can't always be vigilant. So when you talk to people,
we have such varied experiences. But I notice when I
talk to my friends, what they'll be saying is like
the biggest deal in the world to them, and it's

(57:47):
said half the time is something I've never heard of.

Speaker 2 (57:50):
I'd be like, what's happening here? I've never heard of
this person in my life.

Speaker 1 (57:54):
People will text me something like they're in the middle
of the conversation, you know what I'm saying. They're like, oh, man,
did you say he was?

Speaker 2 (58:00):
So and so said?

Speaker 1 (58:01):
Because she finally responded, and I'm like, responded to what, Oh,
you don't know about the such as such the trad
wife drummer. I've never I've never met or heard trad white.

Speaker 2 (58:10):
Wow, what is that?

Speaker 1 (58:11):
Who is that?

Speaker 2 (58:12):
Right? Oh?

Speaker 1 (58:13):
So the judy said this, the oliberty. I'm like, okay,
this sounds very Wait a minute, where are you getting
all this from?

Speaker 2 (58:23):
It's everywhere.

Speaker 1 (58:23):
It's all over them on TikTok.

Speaker 3 (58:24):
You know.

Speaker 1 (58:25):
I was talking to BOSSI the other day and she
was saying how she noticed it in the comments and
the responses to a video because a guy was doing
this thing about like talking like I'm saying this message
to black men, we need to be this, this, and
this when you take care of us elliet blah blah blah,
got looked out for our community, blah blah blah. And
she was like, when I went on there and I

(58:46):
looked at the comments, I saw a lot of negative
comments from black women, being like what about black women?
Why you talked about all this the black men, but
what about us? And she would see people responding back
to them to be like, he said, this was just
about black men, black men holding each other accountable. It's
not about black women. This is like blah blah blah.

(59:08):
And she was like, but then I had I sent
the link to my friends to be like, can y'all
believe this conversation is crazy? Why are these black women
attacking this dude. He's doing all the work that people
say they would like to see black men do without
relying on black women to do all this blah blah.
And the people was like, no, everything I'm saying is positive,

(59:29):
Like everybody's saying, good job, appreciate you. This is a
good And she was like, in the comments is up,
They're like yeah, and I'm like, even the fucking comments,
so even we don't And I noticed this too when
I go on like a Facebook, it don't say you
have to hit a button to be like, can you
just show me all the comments?

Speaker 2 (59:47):
Yes? All comments?

Speaker 3 (59:49):
Right? And you have to also say in the right order,
because if you don't, it'll just frandomly select your comments.

Speaker 2 (59:56):
And I realize that on Facebook.

Speaker 1 (59:57):
Yeah, and I wonder if it's gotten that detail to
where it can be like, just show the comments that's
gonna make this person keep like reading. And the ones
that make you keep reading are gonna be the ones
that might be offensive or mean or what you know
what I'm saying, the argumentative ones. It's just this rabbit
hole is deep as all I'm saying. I know that's

(01:00:18):
a huge tangent, but I think the cracker barrel one
is one we can all agree was a fake outrage
cycle and these companies could not ignore it. And it's
just cracker.

Speaker 2 (01:00:33):
Barrel, right, just cracker barrel dog.

Speaker 3 (01:00:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:00:39):
Uh, let's see, all right. I think I talked about
this one. Oh, FBI is fired agents photographed kneeling during
the twenty twenty racial justice protests. So when people were
kneeling out of respect for the death of George Floyd.
The FBI twenty five that's now went back five years

(01:01:05):
to twenty twenty found those pictures of those people that
kneel and fired them. Now, yep, because they show empathy,
That's what I'm about to say.

Speaker 2 (01:01:16):
Because you show empathy and chat. They don't want that empathy.

Speaker 3 (01:01:21):
They go, if you're showing empathy or some form of
a heart or you care, you gotta get the fuck
up out of here. We can't have nobody caring and
fucking up the flow. We try to do something, you
gotta be like but it ain't more than right. They've
been like, bitch.

Speaker 2 (01:01:32):
Get out of here. Boom.

Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
This is the point, you know, like they're trying to
make sure only a certain type of person is employed
in the government. It's you know, Pete Hasath giving an
address to the military today, you know, talking about lowering
the standards, lowering the rules against hazing people, yelling at
a bunch of people that actually were in the military

(01:01:58):
and served and have done well more for this country
than him, talking about I should not see a fat general.
We're gonna all have to meet the weight and the
physical training standards, and you're gonna get out the military
if you don't like what I'm saying. Quit being a
tough guy trying to sell his book. A guy who's
just a fucking drunk and never done shit with his life,
but now he's in charge by the virtue of the

(01:02:18):
biggest DEI of all time, which is just being a
white man who's not good as fucking anything. That's what
the fuck we're dealing with. So yeah, even in the FBR,
they trying to get people out that might have empathy
for what they're about to do. Empathy is the weakness
of this administration.

Speaker 2 (01:02:36):
Yes, people, caring is, yes, it is. It is also
you know, one of those things. And maybe this is
how I feel.

Speaker 3 (01:02:45):
Anytime you want an influx of white people, you always
know what the standards, even in the workplace anytime, because
not tell funny, most black and brown people, a lot
of us, we get degrees because a lot of times
we have to get them to even get through the door.

Speaker 1 (01:03:01):
Okay, for them to say low standards is how black
and brown people and women get jobs. They sure do
lower the standards for these to get white people in
these jobs.

Speaker 2 (01:03:12):
Yes, because because particularly in the workplace. Mark my words.
There's certain jobs.

Speaker 3 (01:03:17):
That used to require degrees. They used to they be like,
you won't even look at you unless you got the
minimum of the the regular ass degree, not not the
masters or anything. You need to at least went to
school for four years, two to four years whatever the
certificate or something. A lot of white people are uneducated
in masses in this country. So what they said was,
what we're gonna do is we're gonna erase the degree requirement.

(01:03:40):
And so when you erase the degree requirement, the paydrops
because all of a sudden, you're allowing people to get
in that before you wouldn't even look at So now
mean with my degree, I have to take a lower
paying job now because you've opened it up because you've
lowered the standards.

Speaker 2 (01:03:59):
And so that's what's happening with this. You're lowering the standards,
which means.

Speaker 3 (01:04:02):
You can get a lower quality person in there that's unqualified,
should that have had the job in the first place,
in there with people that are more qualified than them.

Speaker 1 (01:04:12):
But you're but you're also lowering the standards while lying
about raising the standards. Yes, because you know the real
reason that we are don't have like an army that's
like full right now. Is because many people can't meet
the already lowered standards that we do have. Like it's
a it's not a they're stopping these fit, these physically fit,

(01:04:34):
straight white men. They're they're they're not giving them jobs
so they can go give all the trans women jobs.
That's not what's happening. Literally, because we're a generation of
people that have so much with sedentary we're on our
tablets all the time, we're eating unhealthily. We can't pass
the physical requirements. If you if you go grab a

(01:04:57):
group of one hundred Americans from now versus a group
of one hundred Americans from nineteen fifty six, you're gonna
find a lot less people who would be able to
do the President's physical fitness test or whatever. And there's
this weird denial that these people are in and what
they in their mind, they're just thinking it's a race
thing or it's just a bunch of there's a bunch

(01:05:18):
of fit white men who just sitting out ready to
do it, and all's gonna end up doing is looking
like them ice agents that we have now going around
where they have like the best won't fit them. And
if someone starts running their out of breath immediately because
you didn't get your best and brightest anyway, you ain't
found the best biggots and loyalists that are desperate people
that just need a job and need money to do it.

(01:05:38):
But yes, the lowering of these standards is gonna continue
to harness and we haven't begun to pay really like
everyone right now it's a bunch of like optical and like,
oh we look, it's embarrassing. There are so many ways
we're going to pay for their ineptitude of this administration
because they are not they are not preoccupied with running
the government as a as a thing that takes care

(01:06:00):
of its citizens in any way. So we will end
up with you know, disease. Uh, law enforcement that can't
can't catch people, can't do what they're supposed to do,
obvious wars like uh, it's not this is we're cooked.

Speaker 2 (01:06:19):
We're cut yeah, and and and and and the thing.

Speaker 3 (01:06:21):
And I think when I look at the bigger picture
like that, not trying to be funny, This is why
irritates me when people arguing and want to fuss about
ship like this ship y'all all that don't matter we have.
We we have a government that's getting stripped, we have
a government that's getting defunded. We have a government that's
not doing this job with just motherfucking governing. We're were
you know, you know, you're talking about this ship. But

(01:06:41):
we need to be concerned about the people that control
our food, our water, the people that control our medications,
the people that control the vaccines.

Speaker 2 (01:06:49):
These are the people that that that that have put
in office that are very incompetent. These are these are
the things that we need to be upset about.

Speaker 3 (01:06:57):
And the thing is because most Americans have the intention
spin up a goldfish and or and or people are scared.

Speaker 2 (01:07:02):
I get it.

Speaker 3 (01:07:03):
They're scared. They got anxiety, They got all this other ship.
But use that to to to to do positive things
versus doing nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:07:11):
All right, let's go to another section segment. It's been
a while, but it's probably be just as politics to
we get mad. Let me see what you want to be.

Speaker 4 (01:07:23):
You better move your body, you better move your feet,
and I want to groove. Show me little cool riding
caring babies. L g b t Q news, I'm still
shining LGBTQ.

Speaker 1 (01:07:50):
All right, l g b t Q Newslet's see what's
going down with the family, all right, let's see guys
kind of politics to get mad answering. Man arrested for
threatening Pride parade to send a clear message. A man

(01:08:11):
from Answer was arrested by Ebileen Police Department for threatening
to shoot participants in the Eblen Pride parade for taking
out Charlie Kirk. That's what y'all doing in his name,
in his legacy is a trying threatening to attack trans people.
That's the fuck y'all, And y'all want me to believe
he's a good person that was spreading not hate. But

(01:08:35):
this is what you're doing his This is what you
do in his stead.

Speaker 2 (01:08:38):
We're supposed to open up a big tent to people
like this. Get the fuck out of my face.

Speaker 1 (01:08:42):
Yeah, Ezra Klein said, let's start a dialogue with this guy.

Speaker 2 (01:08:45):
I don't want to hear it.

Speaker 1 (01:08:47):
Uh yeah, apparently, he said on Facebook. I say we
lock and load and pay them back for taking out.

Speaker 2 (01:08:54):
Charlie Kirk, which they didn't.

Speaker 1 (01:08:56):
There's only like thirty of them. We can send a
clear message to the rest of them, he said. The
police were made aware of the threats on September eighteen,
FBI agents visited his workplace and was told by Cole's
boss that he just quit and anglely s throwing out
the bus building and they considered him a hot head. Well,
I mean, you hope he never gets out of jail,
because now he knows you guys were telling. The threats

(01:09:19):
were also specific to a particular set of victims, people
participating in the gay Pride parade tomorrow. With this level
of specificity, Cole's comments were not mere Otto carroless talkinsaggeration,
or something said only in a joking manner, said co
court documents. Yeah, I mean it sounded like the definition
of attempting to do a hate crime. He admitted he

(01:09:40):
made the Facebook comments from his home and ansaid and
he did not believe the parade should be allowed. While
he said he was not going to take action or
shoot parade participants, he did admit the comments could be
interpreted as threats. Could be bitch, you were gonna shoot them?
Beat you say you won't, all right, but Jimmy Kimmel,
But Jimmy Kimmelo. Demonic Maga has a racist, homophobic meltdown

(01:10:07):
over a bad bunny's Super Bowl performance. That's right, Puerto
Rican rapper, singer and LGBTQ plus ally Bad Bunny will
headline the NFL Super Bowl halftime show in February. Okay, yeah,
I'm not mistaking with Leave. He's bisexual too, so you
know they big mad. That's what the bi and big

(01:10:29):
Mad come from, Dubai.

Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
The NFL.

Speaker 1 (01:10:32):
The NFL chose Bad Bunny to perform the super Bowl
halftime show despite the fact that he recently said he
wouldn't perform in the continental United States again because Ice
is deporting the legal aliens, said conservative commentator Greg Price
in the September twenty eight Twitter post.

Speaker 2 (01:10:48):
I hate with you been lying.

Speaker 3 (01:10:49):
He says he's not doing it because he don't want
the people coming to his shows, like legal citizens, to
get fucking rounded up. Because you know what, wherever his
arena is, y'all gonna sh show up, y'all gonna pall,
y'all gonna pull the crowd. He gonna fuck around and
be performing in nobody. I don't blame him.

Speaker 1 (01:11:05):
Well, that's what they said. I mean, that's what he said.
The Conservatory said, because Ice is deporting illegal aliens, y'all
are saying the same thing, except he hates brown people.
He just said it the races way. But yeah, he
scared it with an AI video generated from TikTok, the

(01:11:28):
Grammy winner allegedly saying he would never perform in the
US again due the fears Ice might raise his show.
So it wasn't it was an AI video. It wasn't
even a real video in reality. The artist was asked
in a recent interview with ID whether his decision not
to play concerts in any of the fifty US states
on his current tour was due to concerns about mass deportations. Man, Honestly, yes,

(01:11:50):
there were many reasons why I didn't show up in
the US, and none of them were out of hate.
I performed there many times. All of the shows have
been successful, all of them have been magnificent. I've enjoyed
connecting with Latinos who have been living in the US.
But there was an issue of like, fucking Ice could
be outside my concert, and it's something that we talked about.
We're talking about and are very concerned about.

Speaker 3 (01:12:08):
That, right you know, because you because you know, as
somebody who cares, you don't want you want people to
be able.

Speaker 2 (01:12:14):
To come and have a good time. And I know
a lot of people are like Bad Bunny who He's.

Speaker 3 (01:12:17):
Literally one of the largest like performers like out outside
of the United States, Like he is huge.

Speaker 2 (01:12:24):
You like that.

Speaker 1 (01:12:25):
You said a lot of people are like Bad Bunny
who no car you are a lot of people. Okay,
you the one that don't be knowing people.

Speaker 3 (01:12:33):
I know I know him now. I didn't know him before,
so I can so I can fake jump on the train.

Speaker 1 (01:12:39):
I just know I was like, who, I'm just liking
to point out how you tried to put it on
the rest of us.

Speaker 2 (01:12:45):
I am. I'm putting somebody don't know who Bad Bunny is,
so I know I'm not alone.

Speaker 1 (01:12:49):
Listen, I know a lot of people like Taylor Swift.

Speaker 2 (01:12:51):
Uh what I know y'all was like Beyonce beyond.

Speaker 1 (01:12:58):
Bad Bunny is huge. So anyway, Uh, he did just
wrap up with months long thirty show residency in Puerto
Rico because you know, I guess Ice don't be out
there like that.

Speaker 2 (01:13:15):
Dang got Ice out there, so yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:13:19):
DHS Assistant Secretary of Republic Affairs Tricia McLoughlin accused the
artists of fear mongering and assisting that Ice is not
raising concert venues yet. And probably are like, I don't
trust y'all. I don't trust y'all. I'll be scared now,
I'll be wanting to go to like certain things. I'd
be like, oh, they having a little festival for Oh fuck,

(01:13:39):
are they gonna pull up?

Speaker 2 (01:13:41):
I don't know, right, I just want to hold not,
you know, because it's one of those things.

Speaker 3 (01:13:45):
Well, a lot of lot of a lot of times
when you go to these things that be like authentic
food and yeah, sick and ship you but oh I
can go and grow up and have a good time
and ship like that. Like like I just want to,
you know, go and just engage in the activities, and
I get I get fucking round up with everybody else.

Speaker 2 (01:14:01):
I'm like, the fuck is this? Well? Now?

Speaker 1 (01:14:03):
People is mad? Okay. Filmmaker Robbie Starbuck, who's an anti
lgbt Q plus activist, whine that most of bad Bunny
songs aren't even in English and fredit that the artist
would find some way to push a woke message. They
think they was mad at Kendrick.

Speaker 2 (01:14:22):
You know what, I hope he does his whole set
in Spanish, y'all.

Speaker 1 (01:14:26):
If he's gonna kiss one of the men's dancers, don't.
It's gonna get crazy if he kiss one of the
men dancers, it's gonna be crazy. The FTC phone gonna
be off the crank, off the chain CC.

Speaker 2 (01:14:40):
I mean like Janet's nipples.

Speaker 1 (01:14:41):
Yeah, it's gonna be worse. It's gonna be Janis nibbles
time thirty if he kiss one of them back up
male dancers the way he be doing sometimes because this
guy really scream American football to anyone starbrock Rope. This
isn't about music, It's about putting the gown on stage.
You hate Trump and Madle. Similarly, MAGA podcaster Bennet Johnson
ain't to the expo acclaiming the Expost bunny has no

(01:15:03):
songs in English and may label him a massive Trump
hater and an anti Ice activist.

Speaker 3 (01:15:10):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:15:11):
Let's see Jesse Waters for Fox News advised conservatives not
the freak out of a bad Bundy super Bowl gig.
Don't be mad that we have a cross dresser who
doesn't speak English during the halftime show. Because if Kamala harrisone, uh,
he would have been a cabinet member. You wouldn't have
gotten ten minutes, you would have gotten four years, said

(01:15:33):
Jimmy Fayler. I guess that's my conservative comedy.

Speaker 2 (01:15:41):
That comedy.

Speaker 1 (01:15:42):
Yeah, they mad, Oh well good, yeah, Oh well, wonder
if Trump's gonna go to the super Bowl he went
to go see that message from Kendred.

Speaker 3 (01:15:52):
I was like, and he probably go just to fuck
it up because you know, where he's there, there's certain
shit you can't do because he's there, like purposefully, you know,
because a lot of who complained about King Jack Shall's like,
oh he had planned on doing a lot more shit visually, y'all,
but because Trump was there, they could do it.

Speaker 4 (01:16:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:16:08):
Then as this story about a pastor try to blow
it up, uh, I think it is? Is he a pastor?

Speaker 3 (01:16:17):
Or?

Speaker 1 (01:16:17):
He's like a politicians iss man.

Speaker 5 (01:16:18):
Bill Barrion drops out of the race for Wisconsin governor
some eleven weeks after entering as the first time candidate
in that race, the news coming just days after a
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel story revealed that Barrian followed several sexually
explicit accounts online, including a non binary pornography performer. Barrian

(01:16:39):
was supposed to be the keynote speaker at a Manetua
County GOP event on Thursday night, but organizers say he
decided to cancel after quote a very rough week end
quote Barran Brian saying he did not see a path
forward in the GOP primary, adding in part quote as
a result of our politics today, I cannot focus on
the issues I know will turn Wisconsin around. I have

(01:17:02):
come to the conclusion that I do not have a
path to the nomination.

Speaker 1 (01:17:06):
Our politics or your politics right cause I don't. I
think a lot of people don't have a problem with
you looking at porn of any kind that's consenting adults.

Speaker 2 (01:17:18):
Like conceding adults.

Speaker 1 (01:17:20):
Seem like you ran on having a problem with those
kind of things. It turned out the problem is coming
from inside the house. The call is you, You the
hypocrite on this one. Don't be our politics. All these
dirty liberals always finding out when people is fucking hypocrites
end quote.

Speaker 5 (01:17:39):
Barrion's decision coming only days after Representative Tom Tiffany formerly
entered the race. Tiffany and Washington County Executive Josh Schulman
are the two Republicans left on the GOP side. Showman
releasing a statement today saying quote Bill Berryon recognized we
are facing huge challenges as a state, and I agree
with him that we need a fresh perspective to disrupt

(01:18:00):
status quote in Madison to address them.

Speaker 1 (01:18:03):
End quote.

Speaker 5 (01:18:04):
There are currently seven Democrat candidates running for Wisconsin governor.
In response to Berrian dropping out of the race, with
STEMS releasing a statement saying, in part quote Bill Berrian
is a lesson for all GOP candidates. If you don't
show complete and total loyalty to Trump pastor presence, then
you better pack your bags and head for the door.

Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
End quote.

Speaker 2 (01:18:25):
What jump I do? What you like in this? What? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:18:29):
I don't understand how that's part He's not loyal and
left the Trump. Uh what about the you know, being
anti trans with jacking off to it? What about that?

Speaker 5 (01:18:39):
Governor Tony ever is announcing over the summer that he
would not seek that third.

Speaker 1 (01:18:43):
Alright enough, but still crazy he dropped out of the race.

Speaker 3 (01:18:50):
He was, yeah, they're not built out of the same
thing because Trump still with Trump, but like, yeah, I
did it and I'm running anyway.

Speaker 1 (01:18:56):
Right, Oh my god. You know, and you know he
was kind too because he pulled so when the newspaper
contacted him to be like, so we know you've been
out here watching this transport after being a Republican and
going against it and saying your values, family value, supporter
of Donald Trump. And he stopped following twenty three of

(01:19:18):
those accounts only after they asked about that online history,
which I'm like, can you could have said you was hacked? Now,
would it have work? Probably not? But you can't even
say you was hacked because like, oh, and then the
hack of unfollowed everybody after you got busted. Oh my goodness.

(01:19:39):
But yeah, that's the hypocrisy that they're dealing with over there.
Let's see, I'll do one more. Uh, the Phoenix Man
is accused of threatening Is this a different one? Yeah,
it's threatening to shoot up a gay bar because a

(01:20:01):
political anger. Trevan Michael Goki, forty nine. He got arrested
on accusations of making a terroristic threat and using a
computer threat in both and using a computer to threat
and both of which are felonies. They went to a
welfare check of his house. The police did after a
crisis hotline reporter he made threats to shoot up Cruising Seventh,

(01:20:25):
a popular LGBT bar near Seventh Street, because he was
triggered by political events. Now this is the nineteenth I
wonder if the political events were Charlie Kirk once again,
the response being let's go kill some gay people. Gay
people ain't having nothing to.

Speaker 2 (01:20:42):
Do with this. No, that was not a brown spot
in the room. But yet y'all going to everybody else
but the person who did it right.

Speaker 1 (01:20:54):
They were revealing the resting documents that he said that
Charlie Kirk was a martyr, and he was a martyr
for Charlie Kirk, and that political violence breathes political violence.
Police also detail several transphobic comments he allegedly made. Court
paperwork always shows. He also shows he had previously called
the Phoenix PD to make a police support in which
he alleged allegedly stated that if officers didn't arrive quicker,

(01:21:15):
he would shoot bystanders. He just was mentally ill and
wanting to shoot some people anyway, and Charlie Kirk and
whatever was happening online was enough to justify to him. Yep,
he was booked and held on two hundred and fifty
thousand dollars bond. So yeah, they're targeting like it is

(01:21:35):
a time, This is a time, This is a terrible
time for to be gay LGBTQ in this country. I
mean it's always not good, but we have it has
gotten much worse with who we allow to be in
charge and the people don't. That's the real trickle down
to the golp is that level of bigotry, because the

(01:21:57):
money never trickles down, not even to the other big
get like they won't. These farmers are gonna go out
of business.

Speaker 2 (01:22:04):
But now that trickles down.

Speaker 1 (01:22:05):
Yeah, like, but the actual like bigotry does trickle down
onto all of us. So yeah, all right, let's Gary
wrapped this up with some guests. The rights guys. Uh uhh,
where was? Oh? There we go. But yeah, let's do
some guests. The race mind is wrong folder m hm, oh,

(01:22:32):
there we go.

Speaker 6 (01:22:32):
All right, that was weird. Uh boom, that's the right,
that's the right. That's all right, that's all right, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:23:05):
Woman attacked and robbed in fast food drive through.

Speaker 2 (01:23:09):
Damn mm hm.

Speaker 1 (01:23:12):
A woman was assaulted and robbed in the drive through
the Church's Chicken on Third Street after an argument and line.
According to Memphis Police staff David.

Speaker 2 (01:23:23):

Speaker 1 (01:23:29):

behind the victim. Later identified as Tarana Cook, became upset
about her place in the drive through. According to the affidavit,
Cook drove a silver twenty sixteen Kiss Sorrento and intentionally
struck the victims twenty twenty one missubc mirage, causing about
one hundred dollars in damage. Police say Cook and letitious

(01:23:53):
Sam's thirty one, then got out, opened the victim's driver
door and punched and scratched her, leaving bruce and abrasions.
They then snatched the keys from the ignition, which contained
the victim's wallet in whatever was holding her keys, and
they ran. They drove off into Sorrento U. The victim

(01:24:14):
gave a recorded statement and picked Saunds from a six
person photo lineup as one of the attackers. Sam's now
charged with rivalry and assault, and apparently the disturbance the
disagreement was about her place in line and the drive through,
So I don't know if she felt like she got skipped,
if they were doing that thing where it's two drive

(01:24:35):
throughs and you got the merge and the one right
then she did a one hundred dollars worth of damage
to a car, which I don't know as.

Speaker 2 (01:24:43):
How as possible assign member is one thousand dollars.

Speaker 1 (01:24:46):
This shit is high. Must have been like pink and
then whooped that person's ass, took their keys and left
off because they didn't want to be third in line
for that big good chicken. At churches, Karen guessed the
race of Toronto. Let me make sure I get her
name right, Toronta cook. Oh black, Kar's going black. Okay,

(01:25:09):
let's check the chatroom and see what they believe. Uh,
they gonna take baby, they gonna take big Mama's legs,

answer is black. Yeah, you gotta get the snickers or something.

Speaker 2 (01:25:50):
Dog not getting dagger, that's important, go somewhere else.

Speaker 1 (01:25:54):
First of all its churches. It's gonna take thirty minutes
to get the food, no matter what part of the line.

Speaker 2 (01:26:00):
Yeah, you're staying in them.

Speaker 1 (01:26:01):
You know church is.

Speaker 3 (01:26:02):
Gonna be having it ready and ain't in a rush
to get done. When they say it's done, let's.

Speaker 1 (01:26:07):
Keep it to the actually know, I'll say this for
mineral rage and then come back and do guess stories
another time. Oh wait, I can do both, all right,
you know what, fuck it, Let's do guest stories first
and then we'll do mental rage another day. Man ambushed
Panda Express customer with metal back, using victim zel to
steal hundreds Damn, what's a lot in that statement. Yeah,

(01:26:30):

a Pandea Express restaurant in Miami, Florida, beating him over
the head with a metal bat, and transferring the money
from the victim's phone to himself.

Speaker 2 (01:26:42):

You can lock that shit now.

Speaker 1 (01:26:47):

And it's gonna be a slow fall too.

Speaker 1 (01:27:42):
I just feel like it's not an authentic Chinese restaurant
Pan Express, but I just feel like as soon as
he walked up in there, it was. But yeah, so

Speaker 1 (01:28:27):
When the victim, who had not been publicly identified, arrived
at Panda Express, As the man approached the restaurant, he
was approached by san Chaz Malearo, who was armed with
a metal bat. Without being provoked, subject Malario began chasing
the victim through the parking lot. The court document goes
on the legend the suspect caught up with the victims
struck him on the head multiple times in metal back,
causing serious injury. The detective right in the warrant goes

(01:28:48):
on the legend san Chaz Molaro forced the man to
the ground, refusing to allow him to leave, and fortunately
removed his cell phone from his hand. He transferred three
hundred dollars to himself via zel banking application. The arrest warrant,

well as photos taking from surveillance footage that corroborated.

here's the identification stuff this the bank account I went too,
unless you were like looking for this dude because he
owed you three hundred dollars, right, unless you don't understand
this crime at all, and it does sound like y'all

Speaker 1 (01:29:31):
This ain't a get away with it crime, just the
kind of crime. You do this so that nobody will
ever try to get over on you again.

Speaker 2 (01:29:38):
This is a I take this personally.

Speaker 1 (01:29:41):
Yeah, it's like, did you hear you owe him money?

Speaker 2 (01:29:43):
You better play that man?

Speaker 1 (01:29:44):
Did you hear what he did to get two hundred dollars?

Speaker 2 (01:29:46):

Speaker 1 (01:29:47):
The victim but being also reportedly positively identified san Chaz
Malauro as the individual who committed the robbery. By late June,

Speaker 4 (01:31:39):

Speaker 4 (01:31:49):
High jumping spirit chucking three hundred and sixty degree basketball.

Speaker 1 (01:31:54):
Mm hmmm, all right, let's go to the last one here.
Jeep driver attacks old childhood pow he spotted on motorcycle,
sends friendly texts after what of Florida man allegedly saw
one of his childhood friends test driving a motorcycle and

(01:32:15):
he decided to chase after him, oh, firing a gun
at his pal while trying to repeatedly run him off
the road with his jeep Cherokee. Oh you know you
ever see your buddy on the road. It's like he's
been a long time.

Speaker 2 (01:32:27):
Man.

Speaker 1 (01:32:28):
What's going on? Buddy?

Speaker 2 (01:32:30):

Speaker 2 (01:32:32):

Speaker 3 (01:32:33):
All right?

Speaker 1 (01:32:33):
And then he texted him after the incident and he said,
when's a good time to come over?

Speaker 2 (01:32:42):
What?

Speaker 1 (01:32:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:32:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:32:44):
Care? Isaiah never Never Isaiah McDonald twenty three is charger
aggravated or saw with a deadly weapon, discharging a weapon
into an occupied vehicle, discharging the firearm from a vehicle,
and drug possession at The Police allegedly found marijuana, heroin,
and ammunition inside his jeep following the incident.

Speaker 2 (01:33:01):
Damn, what does Chilai would say? One do one crime
out of time? I mean this is multiple crimes, one
crime at the time. Please.

Speaker 1 (01:33:09):
It wound up being the victim's mother who tracked McDonald
down after the afternoon attack happened Sunday. According to the cops,
After the victim told her what transpired, she decided to
go look for the vehicle where she knows McDonald to
reside upon the robber. At the location, she located a
white Jeep Cherokee matching the description at a residence on
Lightfoot Rod. She reported observing McDonald exiting the vehicle, retrieving

(01:33:32):
the item from under the jeep seat, and entering the
house before leaving the house empty handed. So he must
put the gun up, I guess maybe. The sheriff's officers
have responded to a call from the victim after his
allegedly chased and shot at by McDonald while driving in
the Astor area. The man told police he was test
drive a motorcycle when he knows McDonald's staying on his
tail and behaving aggressively. The victim explained he was in

(01:33:55):
fear for his life.

Speaker 2 (01:33:56):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:33:57):
Cops alleged the victim attempted to a bade the vehicle
by increasing his speed and making several turns, including okay.
He reported the jeep continued to pursue him, and at
one point he observed the driver pointing a firearm out
of the vehicle's window. He said the firearm used was
a pistol pistol parking, possibly dark silver or black in color,

(01:34:19):
and he stated that it resembled a glock. He did
not believe the firearm to be a revolver style high gun.
He tried to get away from his old friend, even
entering oncoming traffic at one point, and during one of
the turns, the motorcycle's pegs scraped the ground, causing him
to momentarily lose control. The victims said the jeep continued
to follow him and fired another shot. He recognized McDonald's

(01:34:41):
from being friends while growing up. He explained that he
had not been in contact with him for years, but
randomly received a text message shortly after the incident, which
basically confirms it with him. The man provided screenshots of
alleged text conversation. McDonald said, when's a good time to
come over and denied involvement when confronted about the shooting.
It's a practical joke, just fucking with you men. Hey man,

(01:35:05):
when's a good time to come over?

Speaker 2 (01:35:06):
You just tried to kill me?

Speaker 1 (01:35:08):
Whoa whoa me? You saying I try to do that?
Even sound like some shit I would do. Try to
murder you. At the years of not seeing you. It's
just a hello. Coincidence that I just happened to you
was just on my mind, you know, I just I
was just thinking about Remember back in the day, we
used to play d known kill a person on side

(01:35:28):
of the road. Nope, you don't remember that.

Speaker 2 (01:35:30):
Cool? Stop doing that.

Speaker 1 (01:35:31):
Stop telling lies, bro, Stop telling lies.

Speaker 3 (01:35:34):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (01:35:34):
You heard what I just told you.

Speaker 2 (01:35:36):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:35:36):
So, then they found him at a circle K searched
his vehicle, got sixty grams of green leaf ash substance wanting,
a sealed, unmarked package and two small zip lock style baggies,
a partial box of thirty eight Special ammunition, several rounds
have spent, thirty eight shell cases right, and empty box

(01:35:56):
of forty caliber ammunition, and a black magazine could and
in fourteen rounds a live for the caliber ammunition. They
also found smoking devices, grinders and a large torch, six
barrels for a thirty eight Special, and a.

Speaker 2 (01:36:08):
Scale and a cannon. What is we doing here? What
is happening?

Speaker 1 (01:36:11):
Motherfucker's righting around with a whole clips album?

Speaker 2 (01:36:14):
What is this little shit?

Speaker 1 (01:36:16):
A witness allegedly identified him as a driver to Jeep
and said he had a portion of the incident in
his security camera. He was released on He was released
on bond Monday, and there's awaiting his next court day.
He's just back on the streets. Karen, guess the race.
What's his name again? His name is Isaiah McDonald, Oh,

(01:36:39):
Isaiah Black, Isaiah's black. Let's check the chat room, see
what they believe.

Speaker 2 (01:36:43):
I know this one time. I bet Deevin David was
losing Isaiah O.

Speaker 1 (01:36:47):
Karen, you are so funny. Yes, like that one, like
the music speeding in gun shots as friendly fire in Florida. Black.
His mama gave gave the victim mama permission to beat
his ass when he was a child, and she never
forgot black. But he thought he was playing gangster town white,
just a good old boy, never meaning no harm. I'm

(01:37:10):
assumed that's white, Miss Smart. I was just reenacted boys
in the hood. Officer black, twisted, Welcome to Twisted Metal,
black palm colored Shenanigans. When on site gets real black.
This is weird white games white. So it's divided. It
is evening split between black and white. On this. No
one went with any other race, and Karen went with black.

(01:37:32):
The correct answer is he was white. So Karen, Karen,
you missed it. Many of you did get it right, though,

(01:38:00):
and that's him. So, I mean, out on Bond is
the I don't know how I could go anything but white.
I mean, I know I already had the answer, So
maybe I'm wrong. No matter how strong that Isaiah McDonald is.
I'm like, you don't let black people that have that
much drugs and murder attempts just out like yeah, he cool,

(01:38:26):
he be Hey, hey buddy, you're not gonna do it again, right,
listen to buster Buster. If you make me come to
your house again, you're gonna spend some time and clink.

Speaker 2 (01:38:39):
And bust the brown let it.

Speaker 1 (01:38:40):
Out, cut it out, buddy like that? Well, like, how
could that possibly how they didn't given a light scolding.

Speaker 2 (01:38:51):
Yes, stupid, it's what the mama said, get her hair,
get out of here.

Speaker 5 (01:39:01):
We were a DoPT and this is ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (01:39:04):
Cut the crap, Like what that.

Speaker 1 (01:39:06):
Is crazy that that man is out on the street,
like they had so much evidence. Yeah, I saw him
pull up in the car. He took something in the house. Yeah,
then we pulled over the car. We found guns, drugs, bullets, everything.
He's like, I definitely tried to murder on the witness
recognize him and saying no one since he was a kid. Anyway,
we should be able to handle this in a few

(01:39:28):
months when it comes out.

Speaker 7 (01:39:29):
All right, sorry ratchetess, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:39:55):
A sixty year old man escaped injury Sunday afternoon at
the suspect tried to attack attack him with a sword
and a torch. Right, you get that? That's crazy? Like uh,

(01:40:18):
that sounds like legend is elder. A sword and a torch.
A sword and a torch.

Speaker 2 (01:40:24):
You got a lot of them on fire for each
off the head.

Speaker 1 (01:40:27):
Hopefully he didn't have three four hearts. He could have
shot the sword across the room.

Speaker 2 (01:40:31):
Yes, it's full power.

Speaker 1 (01:40:32):
He walked in. He's like knocking on the door.

Speaker 2 (01:40:37):
Run.

Speaker 1 (01:40:38):
The attack happened around three pm. According to police, the
man was in the area when he got an altercation
with the suspect, described as a white man. The suspect
allegedly swung a sword at the victim and mist then
it timpted to burn him with a torch before fleeing
the seam. Oh, oh, he must not have. He must
have been wearing his cape of anti burning. You must

(01:40:58):
have and call out the fire spell on time.

Speaker 2 (01:41:03):
He took some anytime resistant fire resistant post.

Speaker 1 (01:41:06):
Lucky you have his fire plus three cloak on. Everybody
would have burnt down. We say the victim was not hurt.
The suspect has not been located as a Sunday evening right,
because he's probably in the Lost Woods trying to see
should you go left left, right up like west down?

Speaker 2 (01:41:23):
You know you ain't got trapped in the cave so well,
fell in the old can't get out.

Speaker 1 (01:41:28):
You don't know the clues. All right, y'all, that's it,
Thanks for listening. We appreciate y'all that tomorrow we'll probably
be doing ballsy sports or something. Uh, So we'll see
you Saturday for feedback. Making nice. Okay, we're not gonna
making nice, make it polite. If you're watching this on YouTube, yes,
I will hide you from the channel rather than listen

(01:41:49):
to your pointed comments. That's what I do.

Speaker 3 (01:41:52):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:41:52):
I had to hide somebody this morning because you know
how we talked about the coline and coach.

Speaker 2 (01:42:00):
That's getting people algorithms and you.

Speaker 1 (01:42:02):
Know, and you know how we were very open about
I had watched the whole thing. You hadn't watched the
whole thing. But we still have a discussion because we
have a podcast together and it's not just the Rod
speaks and Karen shuts up show right there was like
Karen shouldn't even have spoke if she didn't even watch
the whole thing. And all I can say was, how'd
you from the channel? Buddy? I don't want to see it.
You can say whatever you want to, but I don't

(01:42:23):
need to see that ship again. That's stupid. We openly
told you what we were doing. You don't like it?

Speaker 2 (01:42:27):
Skip, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:42:30):
And I saw the whole thing. If Karen wouldn't have
said whenever Karen said something that I'm like, oh no,
this is what they said, I could say I'm right here.

Speaker 3 (01:42:37):
Right because you saw the whole thing. And like I said,
ain't like I was trying to hide it anything. Child
is child and and and and what's so crazy? As
much as people throw out at big ass opinions and
be ignorant and stupid about other dumb ship, I can
have opinions about this.

Speaker 1 (01:42:51):
Yeah it wasn't Yeah, and I'm here, I did see it.
If you would have said something like and you know,
Ezra Klein said he would kill tinn of Hosie Coast
then I'll be like, he didn't say.

Speaker 2 (01:42:59):
That, he did not I know, he didn't say nothing
like that.

Speaker 3 (01:43:02):
But also I you know, from what I've heard, I
still can feel a certain type of way.

Speaker 1 (01:43:07):
No, it's all show happens all the time. You know
what else, I've never done watched a full Charlie Kirk anything.
And I have opinions.

Speaker 2 (01:43:15):
You have a lot of pins.

Speaker 1 (01:43:16):
Nobody wrote in to correct me about that, or if
they did, they getting hid from the channel.

Speaker 2 (01:43:21):
You know why, because I got these flea vagina lips.

Speaker 1 (01:43:23):
Ye all right, y'all that we'll talk to you next time.
Until next time, I love you, I love you.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
