A podcast call twenty five Wist Stocking, Funball and the
Awe Whizz So yet it's too bad?
Speaker 3 (01:40):
But what did you expect?
Speaker 4 (01:41):
It's a podcast call twenty five Whistle.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
Twenty Hello, thank you everybody. Uh let's start because.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
We did not come on on Tuesday. This is later
in the week episode. Uh New York cases here we
should talk about the Jets. Yeah, they were playing the
forty nine ers. It already was not you don't want
to play the forty nine ers a week one. They're
not only good team, they're really good idea. But the
McCaffrey all of a sudden is out. Shout out to
all the fantasy owners that had them, because you didn't
even know, no, and you probably didn't have his handcuff
(02:12):
and our league. I have his handcuff because I knew
he was hurt, so I just stashed him.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
Do you have McCaffrey too, No, Oh smart, I just
tole his handcuffs, so smart.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
So fantasy owners just screwed unless you went and were
able to pick up his backup real quick. So but
the forty downders still look good. The Jets still looked.
I'll let you talk about it. That's your team. How
do you feel after the game. Yeah, we've had a
couple of days now to live it out.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
Yeah, I've had some time to process. I watched the
game with my dad. He came and visited here.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
In person, in person family, like, let's get together, pops,
let's watch this.
Speaker 5 (02:43):
Yet so it's just the same. I mean, it's just
the same shit. I don't know, but I'll say this,
I cannot curse that.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
You can't. You can if you really feel like you
need to.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
I mean, the New Yorker comes out of me when
I this.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Is what I say.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Yeah, it sucked out play the forty nine Ers because
you're probably gonna lose anyway, right, traveled all the way
across the country playing one of the top three teams
in the NFL.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
That's true Week one Rogers first game.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
There's just a lot of factors that probably weren't going
to end up in a victory.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
I can understand. Like, but the defense you're awful.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
I mean, I'm just so tired of Sala and I'm
just like, I mean, the defensive switch tees, Like you said,
McCaffrey's out, This guy Mason looks like the second coming
on McCaffrey even better.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
At times.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
The passing attack was just horrible. I feel like Sauce
was like letting up on tackles. He wasn't really get
ahead thing because he like I think he like rammed
into the shoulder of Debo in one play and I
think that's what tripped him up. But it was just
like and then just the same stuff with Sala just
you know, word vomit.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
I love this because I've had this with Arkansas.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
Just he loves company he feels me, Like I can
tell by how he says words. He's still so upset
by it, just like I I want to kill everyone, everyone, everyone,
just period everyone after the arkansal Cloms State game.
Speaker 6 (04:06):
Yeah, but but New York never had that game. Really,
what do you mean, like the Jets never? No, I know,
it's not about the single game. It's about the life
we've led, the hype and the hope, and he's got
Aaron Rodgers and we were up in the first half,
and so like when he speaks, the tone, the passion,
the sadness, the deflation, like I feel it unlike anything else.
Speaker 5 (04:26):
It was rough.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
Yeah, I mean Rogers looked pretty good. I mean that's
like the one positive out of this, right.
Speaker 5 (04:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
There was some mistakes, but no mobility. No mobility expected, right,
I didn't expect it. I guess that's that's the thing.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
But I don't know if he'll have it. I'm sure
possibly he'll have more mobility.
Speaker 7 (04:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
He only threw like to one side of the field.
Speaker 6 (04:47):
Though, the left side right, which was a bit left,
which was a bit weird. I noticed that because that's
what I do in Madden, you know, like I always
throw it at one side.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
So I noticed it, that's true.
Speaker 8 (04:57):
I thought you're reading the defense.
Speaker 5 (04:58):
No, no, no chance.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
In NBA two K always dribbles the left sticks of
left handed even though my player is not.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
I do that too.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
But did you notice because I didn't really notice until afterward,
and they showed a pass chart that almost all of
his passes were to the left.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
I mean he was barely on the field too, because
what the forty nine ers scored on eighth straight drives,
which is like some kind of record from nineteen twenty seven.
Speaker 5 (05:20):
The possession time was crazy.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
Well, the fumble too early.
Speaker 5 (05:23):
The fumble by breast was bad. Yeah, okay, so.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
I don't want to listen that happened last week.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
We just did not give Casey a chance to have
pain in his heart.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
I needed to hear it.
Speaker 5 (05:32):
Yeah, okay.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
I needed to not feel alone.
Speaker 8 (05:34):
He gave in his Jets jersey the other day.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
He was in a Jet jersey.
Speaker 5 (05:39):
You never gonna do that again ever.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
So, but you have a few winnable games. Now, you
have like three winnable games in a row. So I
mean we should win the next three. But honestly, I'm
scared about that Patriots game Thursday, night right.
Speaker 7 (05:51):
It should be.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Yeah, so is it this week? Well?
Speaker 8 (05:53):
This next week?
Speaker 5 (05:54):
Week? Week three?
Speaker 7 (05:55):
Is that?
Speaker 3 (05:55):
So it's Titans, Jets, pay Kings.
Speaker 5 (05:59):
And then Broncos.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
Broncos is week four okay, and then they play the
Biking they play Vikings in London five I think it
is five.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Yeah, there's some winnable games there.
Speaker 5 (06:08):
Yeah, we'll see.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
I mean, yeah, we should definitely take care of business
this week. Otherwise then we're then we're in some serious trouble.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
There is New York Casey, I like that actually comes
out New York were you and your dad?
Speaker 4 (06:19):
Just my dad is like, I mean he's a psycho,
like we're diehard Yankee fans toill. I mean he's like,
swing the good, you know, like that's the kind of
like atmosphere I grew up in. So when you know,
you know, the defense is letting up all these pasts,
He's like, where there's the surf?
Speaker 3 (06:38):
What what's your expectation this week?
Speaker 4 (06:40):
I'm expecting the w But I'm going to that game
with him. He's still here, so, uh, you should here.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
I should get the Titans.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
Yeah, I mean we should.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
I mean, we'll love us is playing good?
Speaker 1 (06:51):
You should beat the Titans. Okay, well, let's let's get
over to the Tittletown. Are you ready, Kevin, Yeah, let's
do it.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Let's go.
Speaker 8 (07:05):
In honor of the great James Earl Jones passing away
this week. Who is your biggest sports villain growing up?
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Oh? Because he was a villain. He was Darth Vader.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
Yeah, okay, sports villain. I was so college football. It's
tough because they rotated and out, so there really aren't many.
Forever Phil Falmer, because Arkansas Tennessee would play every year,
they were a constant. When SEC East and West would play,
we were sc West, so it was always Tennessee. But
it was Phil Falmer that was consistently the Tennessee coach.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
But Team Martin when he.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
Was a quarterback for Tennessee was tough for longer periods
of time. Tony LaRussa, Ozzie Smith, even Jim Edmonds because
I hated the Cardinals as a Cubs fan, of hated
the Cardinals as an Arkansas fan. We just we played
Tennessee every year, so we hated Tennessee, and I was
a little bit behind the Arkansas Texas, like I remember now,
(08:00):
we hate Texas and Arkansas just in general. Because they're
bigger than us, they have more money than us. There,
it's every reason that you hate your big brother, right,
that you have like a rivalry. So we were born
to dislike Texas because we have an inferiority complex. But
I really didn't get to experience a lot of the
Texas rivalry because that was Southwest Conference. I was very,
(08:21):
very very little. I got to experience a lot of
the Tennessee. I mean we lost in ninety eight. We
fumbled the ball. We were gonna go to the national championship.
Have we not fumbled ball in the last drive. That
was Tennessee who beat us is terrible. So that those
would be my two Falmer who I later met and
was super nice on.
Speaker 5 (08:35):
A golf course. Usually they're nice.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
Hecause they're humans.
Speaker 7 (08:37):
They're actually.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
And Larissa the Cardinals, any of those guys, they were tough, Eddie,
but yours would probably be a cowboy, like a forty
nine er, right, I.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Mean I don't Steve Young kind of was that dude
to me.
Speaker 5 (08:52):
And again we met him. He was nice, but like
as a kid, I hated Steve Young.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
So as a jet then it's got to be brave.
Speaker 4 (09:00):
And I would say Artinez is probably the number one.
They got into that brawl and he threw Zimmer by
the head like.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
One hundred years old. He took him a while, So
Tom Brady and I mean that, but you guys.
Speaker 8 (09:16):
Own quote unquote right, Remember he called you guys his daddy. Yeah,
I'll never forget when he said, though, what are you doing?
Speaker 2 (09:23):
So?
Speaker 5 (09:23):
Yeah, I mean those those are the top two that
come to mind.
Speaker 8 (09:25):
So with you then being a Boston guy, it was
probably Peyton Manning was number one growing up, him and
Brady the battles, and then he owned Peyton for a
while and then Peyton got him, so then I really
hated Peyton. That's back and forth. And then Alex Rodriguez
is number one by far.
Speaker 5 (09:39):
On his own level him in far attack. Yes, he's
a huge villainy.
Speaker 8 (09:43):
It's for everybody, even like I don't like sports.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
He's done a great job at like building his career
back though to not be the douce that.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
Yeah, if you're a sports fan, it's hard for him
to shake the douchst But like to people.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
Like, like, it's weird seeing him up there with Ortiz
was like pregames.
Speaker 5 (10:01):
Even when he talks still you're still he is.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
But again, I think we have the preduche.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
We knew he was a duche, but when he was
saying like j Loo and stuff like, but I think
people started to kind of like him that didn't have
didn't know like his history in sports.
Speaker 8 (10:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Yeah, it's tough for me to look at him and
be like, that's a guy I want to hang out,
not at all.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
All right, next one, All right.
Speaker 8 (10:18):
Which one loss team do you still think has the
best chance to make the playoff in college football?
Speaker 3 (10:22):
Are we basing it off?
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Like because Notre Dame lost the Northern Illinois. If it's
close and there are other ones, the Notre Dame will
not get in in a tie. Now with that loss
to that school, it's not like a loss to a
Big ten school or an SC school, even a Big
twelve that's a bad loss. So that's a bad one loss.
That's basically two losses. I would count that as two
(10:44):
losses to an SEC school. So it's gonna be tough
for them. They're gonna have to have some things fall
right for them. And they also cannot get one.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
Of the top four seeds period.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
They can't go one, two, three, or four because those
are for the conference champions of the major conferences sec ACC,
Big ten, Big twelve, so they would have to be
a five through twelve. One of them is going to
be a non powerful now I guess power four now
non powerful.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
It's gonna be tough for Notre Dame. That loss to
that school.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
Had they lost the week earlier, it had been a
lot easier because every loss is an equal so.
Speaker 8 (11:20):
That A and M.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
Yeah, had they lost to A and M, which they didn't,
that'd be a lot easier. To have another loss to
a big school and have two big that one loss
to that small school at home, that's that's gonna be
very hard for them. Michigan. I just don't think they're good.
So they have the loss and Texas ran a hole
in them. But I don't think that it's because of
(11:42):
that one loss, because that's a quality loss. Just who
you lost to at home and bad. But at least
it's Texas who's good this year. But I just don't
think they're good. Clemson, probably because they lost to Georgia.
They got manhandled. But you have to also remember one
it's it's weak one. They're gonna get a little bit
of credit for time, time and distance from the game.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
It was Georgia.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
If you're gonna get man handled, it probably needs to
be about Georgia or Alabama, maybe Texas, maybe Ohio State
like those count those man handlings are forgotten a lot
easier because of how big and strong those schools are.
So if Clemson can win, the problem is are they good?
Speaker 3 (12:21):
Right? Like Club Nick? Do you know Clubnick from Austin?
Speaker 5 (12:23):
No, he's their quarterback? Yeah, okay, Travis Guyerson Westlake. I
don't know one of those.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
I just know it's from Austin and I was like cool, Yeah,
I thought it was cool too. I'm gonna go with
and I saw the odds and the odds aren't as good.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
For these schools.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
But like an LSU, I think a one loss LSU
has the chance.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
Again. But are they losing again or are they winning?
I mean are we? Are we just going look at
their schedule as well? Yeah, I mean tex AM's gonna
make it Texa. Aam's gonna lose.
Speaker 8 (12:56):
Okay, So let's say LSU loses again.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
So a two loss LSU though, gets in.
Speaker 8 (13:01):
Yeah, but a two loss Clemson do they get it?
Speaker 3 (13:03):
No?
Speaker 1 (13:04):
Okay, because the AECC is not near as strong as
the SEC. So two unless LSU loses to like Middle
Tennessee State, right, because all losses aren't the same. A
two loss LSU gets in.
Speaker 8 (13:14):
What about Michigan because the Big Ten is good and
I do think they will lose at least one more.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
A two loss in Michigan is in conversation to make
it because again they lost to Texas, but they're gonna
They're gonna play Ohio.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
State, they play Oregon, do they play organ So I mean.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
If you also beat one of those schools, that counts
as in the plus category.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
So, but it's fun.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
All these games are gonna matter so much at the
end of the season, which has never happened before. Like,
that's what's exciting to me about college football is that
when it got to week there's not really like NFL
like weeks because they're but the tenth, eleven, twelve games
of the year, you kind of knew who was in
who wasn't. Maybe some teams were jockey for conference championship games.
(13:54):
But there are gonna be a lot of games that
matter later on because of this, And that's what's exciting
to me. We don't get less excited at the NFL
because teams are fighting for playoff spots, no more games matter,
so that's gonna be fun. Yeah, all right, I'm gonna
go officially, though, was my answer. I don't want to
have to go Clemson, but I just don't think they play.
I'm gonna go Clemson because they don't.
Speaker 8 (14:12):
Play anybody easiest road for sure.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Yeah, so I'm gonna go Clemson, then LSU because LSU
has shown that they can, and they have, especially with
their current regime. They've won, they've they figured it out
in one the second half of the year.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
But also we've only play one game. I'm going Clemson
LSU in that order. Thank you.
Speaker 8 (14:31):
Next question, Okay, what's New York coach do you think
has a shorter leash? Robert Sala or Brian Dable.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
Dude, that's Terrian. It's both teams. That's that's bad news.
It's bad news whichever one. It's like, what the first
one to win gets to keep their job. Of those two,
that's what they should do.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
The first one to win keeps their job, though when
automatically it's fired because both of them are probably gone
if if both of these seasons in as disastrous.
Speaker 4 (14:56):
I think next next week is huge for both teams
because they should beat the Commanders. I think that's like
Dane Jones's best team that he faces on paper or
something like that.
Speaker 5 (15:03):
So if they go on to there.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
Well both the Jets and they're both playing a team.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
Yeah, it's like the first one to win you get
to keep their job. One where you're in the first
one to lose should lose their job immediately because I
think both of guy there's a chance.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
Both of them are gone.
Speaker 5 (15:17):
Yeah, as GM's by the end of the year.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
I think letting Saquon go and also if the Eagles
continue to and Saquon continues to play well and not
be injured, that looks.
Speaker 8 (15:28):
Did you see the clip of the GM and the
hard Knocks like offseason things where he was like, if
this ends up hurting us, what do you say like over.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
There like saying like if yeah, like you didn't want
Barkley to go, but Shane was like, we We'll just
let him go.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
I saw a thing with like coaches with like fifty
games or like Sala's like one of the bottom three
or four, because.
Speaker 5 (15:46):
I mean, the fact that he's still employed is like shocking.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
But to be fair, with Devil.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
He's almost five hundred. Didn't come into a team that
was great. The Giants are just so bad. So if
I had to pick one that's gonna last, it'd probably
be old Baldy. They're both put both bald though.
Speaker 5 (16:05):
They're both.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
Yes, yeah, rounder and bald Yeah probably yeah, Okay, next up?
Speaker 8 (16:12):
All right, last one? What do you expect or who
do you expect to have a bigger bounce back in
week two? Kirk Cousins or Aaron Rodgers?
Speaker 6 (16:18):
Oh, the Battle of the Achilles. They're not playing each other,
but I'll think about that battle. That's easier. I think
Cousins fixes it. I think he I think Cousins fixes it.
And I think Cousins also plays in a weaker division
or like, I think he has some. But Rogers look
better than Cousins.
Speaker 3 (16:35):
Did week one.
Speaker 5 (16:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Rogers is also further from the injury too. Let's not
forget Rogers got hurt for first plays into last year,
all this time to recover, where Cousins may like still
be feeling it a little bit.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
Not that Rogers isn't He's forty years old.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
I would think Rogers is able to bounce back quicker,
probably gonna win both. The Falcons have like three tough
games in another playing the Eagles this week, so I
don't think they win that game. I do expect the
Falcons to go nine and eight. That's a perfect Kirk Cousins.
Speaker 4 (17:05):
Record, probably win the division.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
Yeah, and like being in the mix at the end.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
So I think Rogers bounces back faster because he's had
more time to be able to physically bounce back. But
I do expect Cousins to get it. He always gets it,
although he's not had an Achilles injury like this. But
it's as much as I would hate for Casey to
have like a good day if I have a bad day,
I do think Rogers and Rogers looked fine.
Speaker 4 (17:29):
He just didn't have an opportunity, right, Yeah, I mean
I think it was also like one of the lowest
times of possession for Aaron Rodgers in his career. That's
how much the forty nine ers were just running the
ball and just eating up clocks.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
The passing yards have been so low.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
Did you guys see there was like the least amount
of passing yards in a week like two or three
d over three hundred yards. Wow, Like Tuo was the
leader passing leader for the week.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
And he looked bad too. That's a two. Ye they struggle. Okay,
that's it. Yep, all right, thank you hit it name.
Then I'm okay, God.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
All right, you guys know what we're going here. We're
gonna build the twenty five whistles parlay. I feel pretty
good because we have a bigger canvas. Okay, we have
a larger we have a larger scope.
Speaker 5 (18:11):
They pull up my app.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
I'm gonna feel pretty good about this and that I'm
gonna tell you guys to bet this one. Come on
in the room, listen. We always do one, and some
of them I feel more passionate about than others. I
feel pretty good about this one. I'm betting this one
myself for sure, because I strongly read. Hey, nobody's still
locked out. Man, I can't bet. No, you locked yourself out.
You you were like, please take me take me down?
Speaker 7 (18:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (18:33):
Yeah for sure?
Speaker 1 (18:34):
Yeah, okay, uh Georgia minus twenty four at Kentucky, I
get that seems safe. Oh no, if any yells that
seems safe, that is not it. That's that said that allowed? Yes,
Oh no, that's not it. Then Kentucky got just man
handled by South Carolina. They did not see that. It
(18:55):
was never a game. So I'm gonna go, uh, Georgia
minus twenty four at Kentucky. I'm gonna go LSU money
line at South Carolina. It is a touchdown difference there,
but I don't trust them to cover. I do trust them.
That feels safe to pick them to win, I think LSU.
So I'm going LSU money line of South Carolina Georgia
(19:16):
minus twenty four at Kentucky. I mean, am I gonna
do it? Am I gonna do it again? Because what
feels safe is Oregon. It's Oregon minus sixteen and a
half at Oregon State.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
It's a rivalry game.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
Rivalry game, they're usually closer, but it's like they have
not They just.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
Have to turn into the organ that they have the
ability to be.
Speaker 5 (19:36):
If this helps, I don't like it.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
Thank god.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
Oregon minus states that's where we're going. Okay, so we're
going Georgia minus twenty four a Kentucky, Oregon minus sixteen
and a half at Oregon State, and LSU money line
at South Carolina. That's gonna be our DraftKings twenty five

the boxes. If no, you can just put it all yourself.

All right, you owed my it's so ha. Give me
some milk. This is not give me some milk.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
Take I don't think the Panthers are the worst team
in the NFL. I don't think the pants really, they're
not going to be good. Their offensive line is terrible,
and I felt terrible for Bright.
Speaker 5 (21:09):
I just I saw his first pass was picked off.
Speaker 3 (21:12):
I didn't see that Young. It's tough.
Speaker 7 (21:13):
It's tough.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
I look at Kyler Murray to be so small and
Bryce Young. I don't think Bryce Young is the smallest
Kyler height wise, he's taller. Like when Kyler runs, it's funny,
it looks like a toddler put on pads, and it's like.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Mostly too because he's running next to gigantic men. Sure
like if he was with us, he'd look like like.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Written no, well no more bigger but not as tall.
Speaker 5 (21:32):
I mean we're taller than him, right.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
Yeah, but still he's like he's strong.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
Like I remember the first time I met Eli Manning,
I was like, John's a monster thick.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
He's probably six three or four. I mean he's just
and on TV, Eli Manning looks.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
Like he's next to humongous lineman Mike, will you pull
you like uh age sex location.
Speaker 3 (21:57):
He's got to be six three, right or more six five? Wow,
he's a monster.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
So I'm sure Kyler would look like extremely ripped up
next to us.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
But here we go. The question is which.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Team is more likely to be winless when they face
off in Week ten. The Panthers are the Giants because
they're gonna.
Speaker 5 (22:14):
Play each other.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
Hm.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
Will that even be a not Bowl meaning nobody's won
a game. I do think the Panthers can win a
couple of games.
Speaker 5 (22:23):
So here we go.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Panthers schedule, and I won't spend a lot of Panther talking,
but I just wanted to be like, you know, give
me some milkcot.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
They have the Chargers.
Speaker 5 (22:32):
They're not gonna win that.
Speaker 3 (22:35):
The Chargers are fine, Okay, they're gonna play.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
They're going to Vegas. I think they can play with
the Raiders. And I'm not gonna say I think they'll
beat because I don't think they'll beat for sure anybody.
But these are the games I think they can be in.
I think they can be in the Chargers game. I
think they could be in the Raiders game. The Bengals
are gonna run them. Although what was Joe Burrow doing?
Speaker 3 (22:52):
Is he hurt his hand like you pick up a
water bottle? Correct?
Speaker 5 (22:57):
Is this like a shot on the sideline?
Speaker 8 (22:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (22:59):
Yeah, he was like running it.
Speaker 5 (23:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
Oh, man and maybe tomorrow when this comes out. We're
recording this day before. They'll beat information. They're playing the Bears.
I think they can play with the Bears.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
The Bears defense man. Yeah, they're playing the Falcons.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
The Falcons will probably two, three, four, week seven, probably
have their way with them.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
The Commanders, Broncos. Possibly. I think they can play with
the Broncos. The Saints.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
They gonna play the Saints again, but everything went exactly
right for the Saints. I think they play with the Saints,
and I think they can beat the Giants. I think
the Panthers co win four games. Okay overall, Wow, I
think they And I think the initial that was four
and a half over under and I was like, oh,
it'll be way over. But after watching that game, I
don't think it's why over anymore. But I do think
they can win some games. The Giants. They're playing the Commanders.
(23:45):
Can they win that? Can can they?
Speaker 5 (23:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (23:46):
Yeah, they're playing the brown Oh yeah they can win
that one. Well, the Browns are playing only with ten
minute offense. Yeah, so that's they're playing with the Cowboys.
Speaker 5 (23:55):
They're not gonna win that one.
Speaker 3 (23:56):
Lose that.
Speaker 1 (23:56):
Seahawks will lose that Bengals will lose, that, Eagles will
lose that, Steelers will probably lose that.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
Wow, I see what you're saying in what maybe the
Panthers have an easier road to get there.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
I don't think the Panthers are the worst team in
the NFL. Or I don't think they'll lose the most
games in the NFL. If you watch week on, it
was bad and it also just got out of hand.
Speaker 1 (24:15):
They're not good. They don't have the personnel to be good.
I felt bad for them. The offensive line is not good.
They have the personnel.
Speaker 8 (24:19):
So new coach.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
And do you even want the number one You don't
even need the number one pick if you have a
quarterback unless you're gonna draft another quarterback.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
Like if you're the Panthers, do you draft on the quarterback?
Speaker 8 (24:28):
If it was like Caleb Williams come out, I think
they would, but it's not.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
The number one pick is probably gonna be the Georgia kid.
Speaker 5 (24:32):
Yeah, Carson Beck.
Speaker 8 (24:35):
So you want to say maybe a receiver or alignment
or something, right, So probably alignment.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
For give me some milk.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
Panthers gonna win four, three or four? You know what
five games this season?
Speaker 3 (24:48):
Take I take everybody takes it take. Eddie talked to
me about the illegal formation.
Speaker 5 (24:56):
I don't know if someone please explain it to me.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
I don't understand why they're there are twenty five flags
in one week over some dumb illegal formation.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
So there are a few.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
So the new rule, are you talking about defense or
if the defense moves quickly they call that?
Speaker 3 (25:10):
Are you talking about like the motion when.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
They call I think it's the offensive line where like
they have one finger over the line, it's illegal formation.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
So I've seen a few different versions of the new
illegal formation. Which one are you talking about?
Speaker 5 (25:23):
You're talking about the offensive line stuff.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
Ravens the Jets, So you're talking about one game that
one game?
Speaker 4 (25:29):
No, no, no, because it happened all week too. I think
the Jets game had happened too.
Speaker 7 (25:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (25:32):
I didn't even see where he was. And here's what
confuses me is like they throw the flag all right,
oh my gosh, does a false start? No illegal formation?
And then they show the coach and the coach is
like okay, and then they do it again the next play.
I'm like, what don't you guys understand?
Speaker 1 (25:45):
Well, there were a few different legal formations that they
are they're cracking down on, especially early. Sometimes they let
off a little mid to late season, but they just
kind of re established.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
We will call a lot of this.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
One of them magic and like Canadian football or arena football,
the most you can have any motion forward at all.
And you would see Miami last year in Tyreek cheat
that a little bit like going across and it's not
that he would turn forward, but he would definitely start
angling the direction that wasn't right a sideline. So I
saw that called a couple of times. Also, there is
(26:15):
a mandate now the defensive line can't draw the offensive
line if they cross the neutral zone offense like a
move right, and then it's on the defense. But they
the claps. They're cracking down on anybody making any noise.
It even resembles a clap because a quarterbacks claping a
lot of times with a silent count just a clap.
So now they'll call if the offense screws with the
(26:37):
defense or the defense screws with the offense.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
They're calling both of those versions.
Speaker 5 (26:40):
We're never going to play football. It's crazy, okay.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
But and then the one you guys were talking about,
where the offense if they're not lined up exactly.
Speaker 3 (26:49):
But that one won't last.
Speaker 5 (26:50):
It's literally one finger.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
No I think that.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
I don't think that one lasts hopefully like that because
it's but defensively, they're not going you have to stay
by behind the ball.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
Why would you the offense not to stay behind the ball.
Speaker 6 (27:02):
No, I get it, I get but but I mean
it's it's such a The line is thick, you know.
Speaker 5 (27:06):
It's like you look at the line. The line is
what line?
Speaker 3 (27:08):
You know? That's not a real line, right, the black line?
Speaker 5 (27:10):
No?
Speaker 6 (27:10):
No, no, no talking about the actual yard line. Okay,
the yard line is like, you know, four inches thick.
And when you have the camera angle looking right down
the line, they're trying to explain to you what the
illegal formation was. They're still on the line which is
four inches thick. They're just ahead of everyone else.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
It's just you can't be ahead of everybody else.
Speaker 5 (27:29):
You should.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
It's like almost because I'll go let me go back
to my prolific high school fotball days.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
On kickoff team. You can' out run the kicker. You
can when the kicker you can't even be you can't
even really be running exactly with the kicker because there
is a chance that you will be in front of
the kicker and that's all sides before he kicks the ball. Yes, yeah,
so you have to stay a half step behind the kicker.
And what they're doing is just making sure the offensive
line stays a third of a hand back from the ball?
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Is it also too week one? Like we've got to
be the cops that just call everything.
Speaker 3 (27:59):
Absolutely because any sort of thing.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
They have meetings about summer meetings. I guess NFL because
baseball be winter meetings.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
Yeah, any sort of.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
Hey, we really need to reinforce this rule. They come
out hard at the beginning of the year.
Speaker 3 (28:15):
Then it slows a bit.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
One because people now know they're watching for it. Coaches
can say, hey, but two, they want to be able
to call it the rest of the year in case
they need to call it, but they don't always continue
to call it at the same level.
Speaker 6 (28:26):
Yeah, this is the five mile over the speed limit thing,
Like they're having a meeting right now, guys, let's not
write tickets for five miles over the speed limit.
Speaker 5 (28:32):
We're done with this.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
I think they're still calling it.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
They're going to call tickets for five miles over for
the next three weeks.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
Yeah, to make a.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
Point of this matters to us. We're going to make
sure people don't do it.
Speaker 5 (28:44):
Thanks for the explanation, because I had no idea.
Speaker 1 (28:45):
Well, no even my explanation, because there are like four
versions of this, are the offense, draw the defense, the
defense because they'll call if the defense.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
Moves but not across the line.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
Even in college now, if there's like a jerk motion
that doesn't across, they'll call, yeah, like an illegal formation,
off side type thing.
Speaker 6 (29:04):
And I will say to another thing I caught with
And we may have talked about this a little bit
last year, but Josh Allen, he's not getting any rough
in the passer calls, like just because of who he is,
right man, they can nail him.
Speaker 5 (29:15):
They could hit him hard, and they won't.
Speaker 6 (29:17):
Even think about calling the rough in the passer mahomes
As soon as he gets tapped, it's a call.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
So are you saying only when he's in the pocket, Yeah,
she can h him as hard as you want. When
he's like diving and running through people, like, none of
that matters.
Speaker 6 (29:28):
I just think in general in general, and I think
he tries to call, hey, you look look what they
just did here. But they don't even think about it
because Josh Allen he's tough.
Speaker 8 (29:35):
Yeah, he got mad, really mad at one you're talking
about behind me. I think he got sacked maybe or
something like that. But yeah, I know what you're talking about.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
That's probably a human nature where if a guy is
extremely physical, whenever you watch him constantly be extremely physical, purposefully,
over and over and over, and then he takes a
little more physicality to actually call the same thing. I'm
just sure that's ref human nature.
Speaker 8 (29:58):
Same with Kyler a little bit though, because there's Kyler
so much.
Speaker 3 (30:02):
But like Brady, you like blue on him, you get flag. Yeah,
because he didn't. He doesn't run.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
There's there was nothing physical about his game, right, Well,
don't you think it's more of a human nature thing
than some sort of conspiracy theory.
Speaker 5 (30:13):
It is, No, it is, but it's not right.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
No, No, I know, I know.
Speaker 1 (30:15):
I'm asking the question, like I don't feel like the
refs are going in my mind, they're going, Okay, we're
really not going to give Josh Allen the benefit of
the doubt.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
I think when you watch him run through people so.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
Many times when he gets hit, it's not as big
as it's not as big of a deal because he's
been getting he delivers the hit, so the whole game,
you're like, he's a big boy.
Speaker 6 (30:32):
He's and to your point of they need to be
healthy to make the game entertaining, he will be He'll
be healthy. Like they can hit him hard, he'll be fine.
He'll get right up. Mahomes not so much. Yeah, Kirk
Cousins not so much.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
But like Ben Roethlisberger was always hurt, but he was
always taking a shot. Was a diva. He's just a mess.
Huh yeah.
Speaker 8 (30:52):
Yeah, But then it'll go in the opposite way where
if he runs and then he kind of gives himself
up and then he keeps running and then people get
pissed because they thought he's gonna go down because he's
a quarter you know I'm saying. So it's gonna be
a little give or take and you're screwed either way.
Speaker 1 (31:05):
And they can't do that thing anymore where they fake
slide right, can't you pick it? Run that for everybody?
But he pulled it off.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
Awesome, But yeah he did and just kept running.
Speaker 6 (31:14):
Hey and also to can we do another segment of
this annoys Eddie in football?
Speaker 5 (31:18):
Oh yeah, here we go.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
This annoy is Eddie.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
Patrick Mahomes needs to stop with the fingers like it's
it's the first few times or whatever, like, Okay, that's silly.
Speaker 3 (31:30):
Flicking his fingers, just one.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
Up.
Speaker 5 (31:34):
But now it's.
Speaker 6 (31:34):
After every play, line up, lane up, line up, and
he's taking on his little fingers.
Speaker 5 (31:38):
He's got to stop.
Speaker 3 (31:40):
He didn't notice the noise, Eddie. No, I can see
it when you do it.
Speaker 1 (31:44):
I can see him do it, but I don't haven't
seen it so much that I'm like, you need to
stop doing bones.
Speaker 5 (31:47):
It's every play, dude, it's every play.
Speaker 3 (31:49):
And then where do you notice that? Do you guys
notice that?
Speaker 9 (31:53):
I can see it.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
I can see him doing it, But have you noticed
it so much you've been annoyed by it?
Speaker 8 (31:58):
Yeah, but it's because it's the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes.
Speaker 5 (32:00):
For me that annoys Kevin.
Speaker 4 (32:01):
Yeah, it's like the same thing with Steph Curry and
like chewing his mouthpiece. It didn't bother me at first,
but then like after the success and stuff like that,
do put.
Speaker 5 (32:09):
Your thing in your mouth? No one wants to see that.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
Yeah, do you guys see the Delan Royola? So he's
as a quarterback in Nebraska number fifteen looks just like
Patrick Mahomes. Now does everything just like Patrick Mahomes looks
just like har He does the jump, like the warm up,
he plays like him. He's a true freshman.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
Look at him.
Speaker 1 (32:29):
Yah, stop Kevin, show him, show him. He's awesome. And
Nebraska paid a ton of money. It was a big
story in the off season Nebraska crab out of Colorado.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
But I mean, he looks like him.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
Mahomes calls a little cousin now because he looks he
does look like Now he's starting to do like the
stuff that Mahomes does.
Speaker 5 (32:47):
The sun glasses.
Speaker 1 (32:48):
Yeah, And for me, I'm like, it's kind of an
Then I forget he's an eighteen year old kid, and
of course what eighteen year o kay woldn't want to
be exact?
Speaker 3 (32:56):
Do cosplay like Patrick Mahomes?
Speaker 2 (32:57):
So is he just kind of idolizing him as.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
His He kind of looked and played like him anyway,
But it became a bigger thing and now he's just
totally embraced it. But you played college football and it's
like you're not a high school play no, but you're
also eighteen. I mean you have to remember their kids.
Speaker 5 (33:13):
Right, he looks just like this, and he's awesome.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
He's really And for Nebraska to have like a dynamic
quarterback feels weird because they just haven't been dynamic at all.
But Matt he's going to be. It's gonna be great.
Everywhere he's ever been, yeah, Temple, Baylor, except the Panthers.
He didn't have a good NFL run. But it's also
the freaking Panthers, which we've learned now everybody goes to
the Panthers to die, yes, because their ownership is not consistent, questionable. Yes, Mike,

Speaker 1 (35:21):
Looking at the big games this weekend, Arizona at Kansas State.
Kansas State is a seven point favorite, which is I
was surprised it was seven points. Arizona's won nine in
a row. I think, oh really, Yeah, Arizona has like
the longest win streak.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
I think active Kansas State's good, but I was surprised
it was seven points.
Speaker 8 (35:41):
You think it's because Arizona hasn't looked like they haven't
done kind of like Oregon, they haven't. I forget who
they played the first two weeks, but nobody dominated and
they're not dominating.
Speaker 5 (35:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:50):
Well the first week, remember they had four Yeah, Team
Mac had four touchdowns.
Speaker 8 (35:55):
They gave him like forty points.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
Yeah, I was surprised it was seven. Just because it's
two ranked teams. Kansas State's seven point favorite. I would
probably take Arizona plus seven. I had no idea it
is gonna win that game. I just think that's too
many points.
Speaker 3 (36:09):
But that's interesting. It's like two schools. We've been to
two schools.
Speaker 5 (36:12):
We like no one like.
Speaker 3 (36:13):
Maybe that's why I'm not picking anybody to win, as
I'm like, I'm torn between my cousins.
Speaker 8 (36:17):
It is the Arizona's longest one streak right now?
Speaker 3 (36:19):
Is it?
Speaker 8 (36:20):
Nine nine?
Speaker 3 (36:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (36:21):
Alabama minus sixteen in Wisconsin? Boston College at number sixth
Missouri and Missouri's is a sixteen and half point favorite,
and Boston College is ranked. It's weird to see Missouri
be respected like this. Not that they shouldn't be because
they have a really good team, but it's weird to
see Missouri respected in football.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
Boston College is ranked because they'd beat who recently Florida.
Speaker 3 (36:43):
State, Florida State and O'Brien's air coach.
Speaker 5 (36:46):
Yeah yeah, Bill obrien.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
Missouri's a sixteen and a half point favorite over a
top twenty five team. That's crazy to me as an
SEC fan, because Missouri is always sucked and they're good
now and they have money and they're spending the money
and they're like Luther, they're wide receiver. I mean, it's
hammer t Mac who's the best wide receiver in college football?
We're gonna go to Missouri, yeah, A couple weeks. So
(37:07):
it's super exciting from Missouri fan who has not been
good forever and now you like get to be really good.
We did that far Kaso off for like two years.
It was fine when Barbortrinos our coach. We haven't had
that since. But Oregon, Oregon State, we talked about that.
Ball State at Miami. Miami is a thirty six and
a half point favorite. But I don't know if ball
State's anything, right, I.
Speaker 5 (37:26):
Haven't heard of ball State.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
You've heard of ball State.
Speaker 5 (37:30):
I've heard of the school, but I haven't even watching
the game or anything.
Speaker 3 (37:32):
In Indiana like let him be there?
Speaker 5 (37:35):
Oh yeah, they've let him in.
Speaker 8 (37:35):
Well, I usually watched them those Tuesday Mac Action I think, right,
Maction Yeah, Max Yeah.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
Ole miss a twenty three point favorite at wake Forest,
So still really nothing there. Texas only a thirty five
point favorite over UTSA. Now when you think about that,
you're like, man, how theyre not a sixty point favorite?
Speaker 3 (37:50):
But UTSA has built a program. But still I think
I would go Texas minus thirty five. I think got
crushed by Texas State.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
Yeah, the fact that it's minus thirty five, But Texas
State's not bad but again, you're talking about two different
types of school. But I think I would take Texas
minus thirty five, even though I know the coach at
UTSA Kentucky is getting twenty four points. I would take
Georgia though, to run Like, how about at Georgia beat Clemson.
Speaker 8 (38:15):
It was like thirty one to three.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
I mean they would have covered Dix. They would have
covered this with Clemson.
Speaker 5 (38:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:21):
And then finally Kent State at Tennessee can't state it's terrible.
Tennessee will keep rolling. As far as quarterbacks go, college quarterbacks, kids,
he's a stude.
Speaker 5 (38:29):
What's the line on that game?
Speaker 3 (38:30):
Forty nine? So that's your college preview.
Speaker 1 (38:35):
If we look ahead at the NFL games, just give
me the winner. Bill's a Dolphins that when it would
have happened last night. So we're recording this the game
hasn't happened yet. Pick who won. We don't know, but
pick who won.
Speaker 5 (38:49):
Just say the Dolphins won that one.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
We will be right or wrong by the time we've
heard because we're doing this before the game. You think
the Dolphins beat the Bills.
Speaker 2 (38:55):
The Dolphins beat the Bills. They're in Miami too, right.
Speaker 3 (38:57):
Hyeah, Well, the Bills again closels.
Speaker 2 (39:00):
As long as everyone drives speed limited of the game.
Speaker 3 (39:04):
I think the Bills probably won last night.
Speaker 5 (39:07):
Oh yeah, do you think that?
Speaker 3 (39:09):
I think the Bills probably one.
Speaker 1 (39:11):
Yeah, I do.
Speaker 3 (39:11):
I think that, Casey, Yeah, I think the Bills too.
Speaker 5 (39:14):
Maybe Josh Allen rushing touchdown.
Speaker 3 (39:16):
Raid who won last night? Going to Man Dolphin too?
Speaker 1 (39:18):
Yeah you Kevin, Yeah, I'm gonna go with Dolphins too. Well,
everybody knows who's right who's wrong. But listen, Seahawks of Patriots.
Seahawks are traveling all the way across the country. They're
three and a half point dog. But I mean the Patriots,
I don't, Kevin.
Speaker 3 (39:34):
They're not good, right, you know what?
Speaker 9 (39:37):
I don't know?
Speaker 3 (39:38):
I mean really do you not know? No?
Speaker 1 (39:40):
You no?
Speaker 8 (39:41):
Like I talked about week one. Their defense is good,
it's their offense. If they do not turn the ball over,
they have a shot. And they didn't do that against Bengals.
If they don't do that again this week against Seahawks,
they'll be fine.
Speaker 3 (39:52):
Who wins.
Speaker 8 (39:55):
I'm gonna say the Patriots.
Speaker 3 (39:56):
Yeah, Seahawks, go ahead, guess say whatever you want.
Speaker 1 (40:01):
Settle anybody picking the Patriots say it's a Cowboys cowboy
six and a half point favorite in Dallas. You know
what it is, boy, whenever that happened, you say that
they lose?
Speaker 3 (40:10):
What is it's not even be easy?
Speaker 1 (40:13):
There were times last year like it's the game is
so easy, and they lost every time you said that.
Speaker 5 (40:17):
But what does that even mean?
Speaker 3 (40:18):
You know what it is?
Speaker 5 (40:20):
Cowboys exactly?
Speaker 1 (40:24):
Bucks at Lions, Oh man, I mean the Lions did
not play to the level. I think most folks thought
they would dominate fashing against the Rams, and the Bucks
did play really well.
Speaker 5 (40:34):
The Rams are better than we think.
Speaker 1 (40:35):
The Rams had five missing players on defense, and even
then they're better than we think.
Speaker 6 (40:40):
The Rams had nothing. The Rams were playing with half
their defense, right, and I still think they're good. I
think McVeigh. You just don't mess with that, dude.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
I think they are going to be better than they
were last week. But I don't know. I do not
think they were that good. I mean, I think they
struggled because they were playing with the half second team.
Speaker 5 (40:56):
I think the Lions win this game.
Speaker 3 (40:58):
Yeah, me too. I mean that a lot though, Huh,
it is a line.
Speaker 4 (41:01):
I think the Bucks can pull this out just because
they lost to the Lions in the division round and
They almost almost feel like this game means something to.
Speaker 3 (41:09):
Them if they do win this game, show up the
Bucks are for real?
Speaker 5 (41:12):
Are we thinking that?
Speaker 6 (41:13):
Like it's that receiving corps versus the quarterback. You just
plug in the quarterback like Tom Brady, who you talking about?
Like Mike Kevin's just Mike Evans and gout like these
dudes are like awesome.
Speaker 3 (41:25):
I don't think so.
Speaker 5 (41:26):
No, I mean some of the catches that.
Speaker 3 (41:28):
I hear you.
Speaker 1 (41:28):
But Brady had a year with them, he went five
hundred or so. No, I don't think he just plugged. Yeah,
Brady had a good when he won the super Bowl,
but then the next year he didn't.
Speaker 3 (41:37):
I don't think of Bakers can play.
Speaker 5 (41:38):
Bakers just had a really really good game.
Speaker 8 (41:40):
Oh yeah, they's played well yeah, well the game, oh
yeah last year, last year too towards the end.
Speaker 3 (41:46):
Don't we talked to me anymore? But played one hundred
million Bucks?
Speaker 5 (41:50):
People?
Speaker 1 (41:51):
Whatever, dude, Colts of Packers, I mean the Colts probably
win that gaginst the Packers don't have a quarterback.
Speaker 5 (41:55):
Right, yeah, yeah, it's gonna be a mileage with Willis
So I said they're in trouble.
Speaker 1 (42:00):
Jets at Titans. Jets are four point favorite on the road.
The Jets win, just want to Yes, I mean the
Titans mining that losing more games than anybody. Will Lewis
looked about a third of what I thought he might
look like, and he might be average.
Speaker 4 (42:12):
Yeah, a couple more of those forward shovel passes. That
was right to the cornerback.
Speaker 3 (42:15):
Yeah at all, that's gonna be a butt fumble. That's
gonna be the butt full loss.
Speaker 8 (42:18):
And how a baud is Malik Willis if he if
he lost that job, I think they are.
Speaker 1 (42:23):
I don't think they could have gone back to Malik
though anyway, No, they couldn't have.
Speaker 3 (42:26):
Yeah, I just don't.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
He was here, passed, a whole new coaching staff comes in.
I just don't think they could have gone back anyway.
Speaker 3 (42:32):
But I hear you.
Speaker 1 (42:34):
But remember the Mark Sanche's butt fumble. Yeah, you know
it showed up that that Remember that Will Levis pass
was that like that level. It's going to be shown
forever because it was so bad. Forty nine Vikings Niners.
Speaker 5 (42:46):
That doesn't matter who they play.
Speaker 1 (42:48):
Vikings played well, but Yese Giants at Commanders Commanders a
three point favorite.
Speaker 5 (42:54):
Commanders Commander Commanders.
Speaker 1 (42:56):
Dude, Chargers at Panthers, Chargers six and a half point
favorite in Caroline.
Speaker 3 (43:00):
I'm going Pather. Let's go Panther up.
Speaker 5 (43:02):
You know what, why not Let's go Panther.
Speaker 3 (43:04):
What did I say?
Speaker 5 (43:05):
Eat them up? Rock talk eat him?
Speaker 10 (43:07):
I think it's no, it's it's uh, it's pound it pound, Yeah,
because I'm thinking of pound.
Speaker 3 (43:16):
Take him to poundtown. Found some sort of pounding.
Speaker 5 (43:22):
But they need to change out.
Speaker 3 (43:23):
Yeah yeah, okay, so I'll go Panthers, but you guys
are probably smart.
Speaker 5 (43:28):
No, man, we'll go Panthers. Why not doing charges?
Speaker 1 (43:30):
Browns and Jags, Jack Raiders, Ravens, Ravens, Rams, Cardinals.
Speaker 5 (43:37):
Rams and Pooking. The cool is still out right. Yeah,
this is gonna be he and for a while.
Speaker 3 (43:44):
Yeah, I know, although Pookers out, but he did look good,
really good too.
Speaker 2 (43:51):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (43:52):
I'll go Rams.
Speaker 1 (43:54):
I think they're gonna try to get moreban Harrison the
ball a lot more though, because that's all that anybodys
talked about this nothing Steelers of Broncos.
Speaker 3 (44:00):
Oh, I'm gonna go Broncos.
Speaker 5 (44:02):
Going, I'm gonna go Pittsburgh. Just that defense starting again?
Speaker 1 (44:06):
Too?
Speaker 3 (44:06):
Oh, teacher, what is what won that game he was.
He was everywhere. It's crazy they were.
Speaker 1 (44:12):
There were penalties agains him too, because he'd be so
far for just a flags, be like, well this ain't fair?
Speaker 3 (44:15):
Yeah, fairness flag?
Speaker 7 (44:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (44:17):
Is Russell Wilson dressing out when he's enacted the most
Russell Wilson thing?
Speaker 3 (44:21):
So losory. It's solusory. It's so lousive, I know, but
come on, man shaved his head.
Speaker 5 (44:29):
He looks good.
Speaker 3 (44:30):
I'm taking the Broncos two games, Bengals and Chiefs.
Speaker 5 (44:34):
Chiefs, Yeah, I think so too.
Speaker 3 (44:37):
This is the kind of game, know that the Bengals
would win.
Speaker 5 (44:39):
But what's it just so sketchy? I don't know, I
don't I don't trust him.
Speaker 3 (44:43):
Bears it Texans.
Speaker 6 (44:46):
Texas, right, yeah, all right, I hadn't think about that.
I forgot Texans are good.
Speaker 1 (44:51):
Are there any like team color schemes that you just
hate so you kind of don't like the team purple?
Speaker 5 (44:57):
So like Ravens.
Speaker 6 (44:57):
I just I just forget about the Ravens. I forget
they even exist whenever look at like who's playing this week?
I don't forget to think about the Ravens.
Speaker 3 (45:03):
What about the Vikings are purple? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (45:05):
But the Vikings. Yeah, I don't think about them either.
Speaker 3 (45:07):
I hate the Jaguars colors. Hm, well is it teal
like I hate?
Speaker 1 (45:13):
And I don't hate the Jicks because I like Trevor
Lawrence and I root for the Jock, but I hate
their colors.
Speaker 3 (45:16):
It makes me I have to like work extra hard
to root for them. Bones.
Speaker 5 (45:19):
Is it because you're colorblind? Can you? Do you know
what color they are?
Speaker 3 (45:23):
They look like it looks like a lightish blue or
something like a greeny blue.
Speaker 5 (45:27):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
Yeah, so I am colorblind, and I'm sure I see
it different than you, but I don't like it. And
it could be because I don't see it that well,
but I don't like it. I don't like Jacksonville's colors.
That makes me root against them until I think. When
I think that, I'm like, oh, I like Trevor Lawrence,
I'm rooting for Doug Peterson. But when I don't think
about it, I don't like Jacksonville because I think their
colors are terrible. I don't mind the dolphins because it's
(45:48):
white dominated with a little blue dolphin rather than blue domino.
Speaker 3 (45:53):
I also like the yellow in the Jaguars. It's what
the rams or Rams. I don't like theirs either, the ones.
I don't like their colors.
Speaker 5 (46:00):
Why don't you like the blue?
Speaker 3 (46:03):
Yeah, it's a blue and yellow helmets make up for it.
Speaker 2 (46:05):
They're so cool, right, It's a freaking ram horn.
Speaker 5 (46:08):
That's cool, dude.
Speaker 3 (46:08):
I think if they made it small like the No,
I don't know. It doesn't to me about the Raiders.
To me, the silver and black is just like, yeah,
I don't like the I don't really like the Raiders.
It's classic, but I don't like it. Is that the color.
Speaker 5 (46:24):
Man the Raiders.
Speaker 3 (46:25):
I like the helmets.
Speaker 1 (46:28):
You know, DJ, my cousin or my brother in law Mexican.
He loves the Raiders, but his dad's from southern California.
Speaker 5 (46:33):
Ye, everywhere everywhere, the Texas Mexicans. We love the Cowboy.
Speaker 1 (46:39):
I like helmets that are white based, or black based
or red. Otherwise I start to feel like weird about
the colors. And maybe it's because I can't Maybe it's
just because I can't see colors that well.
Speaker 3 (46:49):
But I do not like the Jags. I do not
like the Rams color schemes, The blues and the yellow
the worst.
Speaker 8 (46:57):
Remember when they had the white ones for that one
year because they were like kind of alternating or switching
white helmets the Rams when they have the white helmets.
I remember that like three or four years ago.
Speaker 3 (47:08):
Really yeah, really, do you have any teams you hate
their logo? I just like I don't really like orange
that much, like the browns.
Speaker 5 (47:15):
The Browns.
Speaker 3 (47:16):
That's ugly, the Browns are.
Speaker 1 (47:17):
I don't mind the Browns because they're so plain on purpose.
Like I don't like it, but like I can respect it,
like they have stay consistent.
Speaker 3 (47:24):
It's just like a turd.
Speaker 9 (47:26):
It does.
Speaker 1 (47:27):
It's just like a turd that you ate, like too
much dairy, right, It's like I I can respect it,
but I generally don't like the orange because I just
have bad feelings about Texas and Tennessee.
Speaker 3 (47:37):
Oh yeah, mine is just I don't like orange easy enough,
burnt orange, man.
Speaker 1 (47:44):
And burnt though it's Texas's just Texas. Tennessee's is literally
called Tennessee orange. Where Texas doesn't have Texas orange, they
have burnt orange. Dang, that's cooler, I know.
Speaker 3 (47:55):
But you don't have your own you don't own it
on the color spectrum, but no one else has it. Yeah,
but then you should name it, you should call it
Texas Orange.
Speaker 5 (48:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:03):
Yeah, Orange is tough only because the teams to beat
me a lot. That's like trauma when a dog gets hit,
a lot of flinches. I see orange, I'm like, oh god,
I'm about to give you a.
Speaker 3 (48:10):
Gat that sucks.
Speaker 11 (48:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (48:14):
How did that come up?
Speaker 5 (48:15):
I don't know you brought it up.
Speaker 1 (48:17):
I don't like the Raiders of it. I like their logo,
it's the colors. I just want you, oh you don't
like the the raider that sucks er. I used to
hate the old Tampa Bay Buccaneer logo until they went
to New and then I like when they bring the
old school back.
Speaker 3 (48:29):
But I hated it as a kid.
Speaker 5 (48:30):
What was the old one? It was orange, but the
stort in his mouth? Yeah, ah, the buccaneer.
Speaker 3 (48:34):
I hated the old Patriot logo of the guy that
would be on the PAI, the.
Speaker 5 (48:37):
Guy that was my favorite, the guy hiking.
Speaker 9 (48:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:40):
I like it now when it's brought back, but I
hated it as a kid. I hated that logo. I
was like Pete Carroll, Yeah, I thought it was the
Lambis logo ever, But I do like it now, but
I didn't like it then.
Speaker 2 (48:51):
The Jets had an old one too, right, like more circular. Yeah,
it almost looked like the forty nine ers.
Speaker 4 (48:55):
Yeah, we kind of stayed the same though most so
we never really have ventured that far out for the green.
Speaker 3 (49:00):
You've sayed very saying. I know that sucks, man.
Speaker 1 (49:03):
Sorry, sorry about you, Sorry about you there. Uh okay,
let's do this. Oh switch up baseball for a second.
I'm a big fan of John Boy. I watch his
TikTok's he lip reads. It's hilarious, like he reads umpires
and managers screaming at each other and he just says
what they're saying.
Speaker 3 (49:19):
With the microphone.
Speaker 5 (49:20):
Did he bust the astros?
Speaker 3 (49:22):
Did John Boy Bustard? Yeah? I don't know.
Speaker 6 (49:26):
See I didn't realize this when we talked to him,
but I think he's the guy that like busted the
whole trash can thing.
Speaker 9 (49:30):
If true.
Speaker 3 (49:31):
I did not know that, and I watched all his
videos like I was a fan. I tracked him down
to interview him.
Speaker 9 (49:35):
Mike.
Speaker 3 (49:35):
He looked that up.
Speaker 1 (49:37):
This is our sit down with John Boy Media. It's
actually John Boy himself. We were in New York talking
with him, and he goes viral constantly for his breakdown
of videos where he dissects a bunch of different sports.
Speaker 3 (49:46):
He even did like little a Little League World Series,
which is funny.
Speaker 5 (49:49):
It is funny.
Speaker 3 (49:50):
I'm a breakdown teams.
Speaker 1 (49:51):
And so I saw him walking by the stage the
first day we were there, and I was like, there's
John Boy, and he took a picture because he has
family that's fans of the show. And then he I
was like, oh, I have my sister's like a fair
whoever it was, and then this is us talking. Then
we talked baseball here here. He is a John Boy
and you can follow him on Twitter YouTube at John
Boy Media.
Speaker 9 (50:09):
Right, go, John Boy, appreciate you being here.
Speaker 11 (50:11):
Yeah, no, thank you.
Speaker 9 (50:12):
Yesterday I think we were talking to like Grant.
Speaker 1 (50:14):
Williams or somebody, and I see you out there and
I'm I tell my I text my guy.
Speaker 9 (50:20):
I'm like it was freaking John Boy.
Speaker 1 (50:21):
Like I geeked out a little bit because it was
you and your boy and you didn't even really stop
to watch.
Speaker 9 (50:25):
Why would you we suck?
Speaker 1 (50:26):
But I saw you for like a split second maybe
like just stop there, and then you walked on and
I sent my guys to chase you and they never
found you.
Speaker 12 (50:32):
But now today we were quick yeah, No, I was
filming and sending it to my friend Jamie. She's a
big fan, and when I started doing podcasts and stuff,
she was one of the few people that was like, no,
I get what you're trying to do. Like you're gonna
be trying to do what Bobby Bones is doing. You know,
so many people were like what podcast? Like radio or
what is it? So I had to grab a little
video and Senator and she was like what, That's awesome
(50:55):
because I was also like what because I saw you.
Speaker 9 (50:57):
It's crazy social and you came by to have a
lot of stuff to talk to you about.
Speaker 1 (51:01):
And also we had dinner with rich Eisen last night,
who was like a friend of mine, But you were
on his show and I watched the clip and I thought,
I was so proud for like anybody that is making
it and what we'll call non traditional it's not non
traditional anymore for anybody under seventy years old, but when
he had you on, I felt like he was so
respectful to what you do and how you do it
that it was like he had Adam Schefter on and
(51:22):
I thought it was a great appearance by you, that
it'd be a pretty cool moment right.
Speaker 9 (51:25):
To go on the show and do that.
Speaker 11 (51:26):
Yeah, he's been awesome. So he's a Yankees fan.
Speaker 12 (51:28):
So anyone that's a Yankees fan, I kind of like
jet streamed into their I don't know whatever they consume.
I'm there somehow, and he's been great because they'll have
me on and he'll ask me about baseball, you know,
about my opinions, any big Yankee moment.
Speaker 11 (51:40):
I usually get a text like, Hey, you want to
come on? And I love doing his show.
Speaker 1 (51:43):
Some real life questions here. Number one, I love talking baseball.
Number two, and you can That wasn't a question as
more of a statement.
Speaker 11 (51:50):
I appreciate it.
Speaker 9 (51:51):
Yes, Number two is drawn to the way you can
read lips.
Speaker 1 (51:56):
Is that something that you were always good at before
you took it and added it to sports?
Speaker 9 (52:01):
Where did the skill come from? I'm so drawn to it.
Speaker 7 (52:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (52:04):
I never knew it was something I could do that
others couldn't, And so I never really knew I could
read lips.
Speaker 11 (52:10):
But then I remember I said, Dad, Well, remember we
would watch.
Speaker 12 (52:13):
Games and the picture would be screaming off the mound
and you'd say, Jim, what did he say? So we
just intuitively knew I could tell him what he said.
But we never thought it was anything crazy, and he
was like, oh yeah, I do remember like doing that,
like rewinding it, and then I would tell him.
Speaker 11 (52:28):
And then so when I.
Speaker 12 (52:28):
Started making the videos, there was some that I could
just see. But I thought, you know, because everyone can
read lips where it's let's go or certain things, so
I thought it wasn't that crazy. Now that I do it,
I have gotten so much better at it and practicing.
But I also I couldn't like there's lip readers that
you just send them lips and they can read it.
I can read sports lips kind of, and I could
(52:51):
read baseball lips a lot, so it's mostly context, like
I bet he's talking about this, and then I can
figure it out.
Speaker 9 (52:56):
Are you ever wrong? And someone's like, you did not
read me wrong?
Speaker 12 (53:00):
Oh, no one's ever done that, because I really only
do it and put it out if I think I'm
like ninety five percent that I have the sentiment and
or and then like one hundred percent of the words.
Speaker 11 (53:11):
So sometimes I'll know this sentence.
Speaker 12 (53:14):
I just posted one where I knew the umpire said
something something positioned to call balls and strikes, but I
could not get the first three words.
Speaker 11 (53:21):
So I was like, that's close enough.
Speaker 12 (53:23):
If I'm wrong on those three words, I'm not like
detrimenting his character a pole. So I think I said,
you're not you're not in the position to call balls
and strikes. And then people said what he said was
you left your position to call balls and strikes because
that's the verbage of the rule, which I should have
went looked up. Maybe so, but that's that's how I'll
be wrong. It's like, it's not the sentiment, because otherwise
(53:44):
I won't do it. I don't want to ever put
words in someone's mouth that they can easily be like,
that's not what I said.
Speaker 9 (53:51):
Yeah, I tend to do that a lot. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I do the opposite.
Speaker 1 (53:55):
So whenever you're any of my like I f the
are deaf or their family members deaf, and that's where
they got that skill.
Speaker 9 (54:04):
But you don't have that, right, No, you just naturally
were able to read lips.
Speaker 3 (54:08):
Ish.
Speaker 12 (54:08):
I think it's I've always been intrigued with hearing what
you can't hear, and I've always been intrigued with watching
baseball or any broadcasts, like the broadcast, like I know
that when they show a camera on screen. The director's
gonna switch that camera because he doesn't want a camera
in screen, so that one doesn't like little kid, I
would just like, oh, I bet they switch that camera
or so I'd always be watching to find the next
thing to talk about.
Speaker 11 (54:28):
I guess. And that's one of them.
Speaker 9 (54:30):
Coolest player that's reached out to you. That's a fan
that you think is cool personally.
Speaker 12 (54:34):
Maybe not the most famous, but like oooh well, having
when Goory was like always in our comments and he
talks to us a lot, that's cool. We have some now,
So I'm gonna go back to like early like Greg
Bird really early on, like really really early on invited
us to Denver for like a cage session and that
was before the twenty eighteen season started, so I was
(54:56):
super early. And then in twenty eighteen spring training, Aaron
Judge saw me and just said, what's up, dude.
Speaker 11 (55:01):
We were super small. It was just Yankee stuff. So
those were those were wild.
Speaker 9 (55:05):
That's pretty sick.
Speaker 11 (55:06):
Yeah, the non sports guys always blow my mind. Like
Bill Hayter's reached.
Speaker 12 (55:12):
Out a lot, and uh, we'll like text me and
chat and they're like review like You're like, well, that
one was great, you know, or when Barry was going on,
I'd be like that episode was great, and I'm like
this is wild. Bill Burr retweeted or retweeted about me once.
But sometimes it's like marginal guys. It's like uh Gardener
from BANDA Brothers.
Speaker 9 (55:31):
You know, the act, like the situation. It's like something random.
They used to be.
Speaker 12 (55:34):
Yeah, one time I had this a music all art
Jeffrey Martin was very small, really small, but he reached
out and I was like that was the biggest.
Speaker 9 (55:41):
Like but he's he's not that popular, so you like him?
Speaker 11 (55:45):
Oh I love him.
Speaker 9 (55:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (55:45):
It's like me today, I have an Andre Dawson jersey
on because I freaking love Andrey Dawson. When I was
a kid, I'm a massive Cubs fan. I was Andre
Dawson and marg Grat It's like those are my guys.
And so when like my wife was like who's there,
and I was like Andre sententially, I don't know, I
don't know can translate.
Speaker 9 (56:03):
Yeah, I didn't translate at all. What's are you yelling?
The hawk? Thank you? That is a nick name? That's correct?
Speaker 1 (56:09):
Yes, yes, at bias, but so one of my dear
friends for like the past fifteen years. Is Matt Holliday
his son Jackson now, and we'll just talk baseball for
a second. Yeah, obviously didn't have an initial positive run.
What got sent back down back to Virginia Beach?
Speaker 9 (56:26):
Back up?
Speaker 2 (56:26):
Now?
Speaker 9 (56:26):
Is this crushing the ball?
Speaker 7 (56:29):
Like?
Speaker 9 (56:29):
How long do we think? Is this because he now
can hit lefties because.
Speaker 12 (56:33):
You found out what he needed to work on, you know,
So he's probably so good at double A, triple A
that there's not much that he knows. I need to
make a correction because it's not harming my overall production.
If every left he gets, if every lefty he hits
two point fifty off of, but the riot he's he's
hitting four hundred, the grand scheme of things, he doesn't know.
I need to sharpen this tool now. I'm just talking,
(56:55):
and I don't know this is exactly him. But I
think when rookies get called up and they get humbled
for the first time in their entire lives, they're so
upset about it and all of a sudden feel this
feeling they've never thought.
Speaker 11 (57:07):
They're like, Okay, I will go work as hard as
I can at whatever I need to. So when I
get back up that doesn't happen again.
Speaker 9 (57:13):
I know you're a Yankees fan, but is this Baltimore?
Speaker 7 (57:16):
Is he here?
Speaker 9 (57:18):
I think same guy, Yeah.
Speaker 12 (57:21):
I think it's I think the al is pretty even.
I think Baltimore's got as many holes as the Yankees do.
So I think they're being a good race.
Speaker 11 (57:29):
Who's healthy? What was your what's your rotation come postseason?
Speaker 12 (57:33):
But I'm excited for the playoffs this year, especially the Wildcard,
which I have never been excited for the Wildcard since
the new.
Speaker 9 (57:38):
Format, there's not ninety four teams in. It's pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (57:40):
Yeah, like there are college basketball teams now in the
Major League Baseball Wildcard.
Speaker 9 (57:43):
Yeah cool, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 12 (57:45):
So I think there's gonna be a little more game.
Five game series, seven game series leading up to the
World Series should be fun.
Speaker 1 (57:50):
Something that you said that has stuck with me. And
this is before Trout was injured and was done for
the whole year. But you compared how the Yankees use
judge to how Trout's career has been with the Angels,
and this has got to be a year that.
Speaker 9 (58:06):
Yeah, or it's a waste.
Speaker 11 (58:07):
Well, they've made the playoffs. Some people got really upset.
I just I don't want it to become that.
Speaker 12 (58:12):
The haters are already saying that, Yankee haters saying, oh,
it's like Trout, they're wasting it.
Speaker 11 (58:16):
The Yankees aren't. They're gonna get sodo.
Speaker 12 (58:18):
They're gonna I hope they're gonna try to get soda,
I should say, which is all they can really do.
Speaker 11 (58:22):
And Judge's been to the postseason, but yeah, we need
to get some wins.
Speaker 3 (58:28):
New York.
Speaker 11 (58:28):
Jeter's a hero, not because he was a really good
baseball player in.
Speaker 12 (58:31):
A capa because in the playoffs he has like five
moments I could name, and even casual baseball fans are like, yeah,
I've heard about that. Like, so Judge needs those moments,
but he needs the surrounding people to help him out.
Speaker 9 (58:42):
I'm so jealous.
Speaker 1 (58:43):
You have a team that spends money, yeah, and well
you spend money on a manager. Yeah, and we see
how that's working out so far. I'm happy we didn't
sell because the Cubs. You know, obviously we get Counsel.
We spend all the money at Counsel. He comes from Milwaukee.
Speaker 9 (58:57):
But really we were at the position of we start
first started the season, we're playing pretty well.
Speaker 1 (59:00):
Yep, I did not go well up until the All
Star break, and since we've played okay, but I'm happy.
Speaker 9 (59:06):
In the past Cup teams they would have sold everybody.
Speaker 11 (59:09):
Yeah, the half rebuilds don't really work.
Speaker 12 (59:12):
So that's why this new wildcard is so tough, because
if you look at the Cubs when they did sell
everything and rebuild, the Astros when they rebuilt, the Tigers
never worked out when they tried it. The Orioles just rebuilt,
like you have to go rock bottom and say for
three years, we're gonna be rock bottom.
Speaker 11 (59:28):
But now with this wild card, where.
Speaker 12 (59:30):
You can be a five hundred ball club, get into
the postseason and maybe make a run like the Diamondbacks
and the Rangers last year, you're not going to have
too many teams commit to that giant We're gonna stink,
which I think is hard because.
Speaker 11 (59:46):
Selling at the deadline isn't really that worth it unless
you're going to like go all in.
Speaker 1 (59:50):
I also feel like for owners, adding the teams in
the wild card is beneficial because you can say, well,
we made the wildcall, even if you're the very last
team in, like we so money and yeah, and you
can use that as a look, we made the wildcard,
like we're actually trying to kind of appease a fan
base that would get upset if you did not.
Speaker 9 (01:00:07):
Make the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (01:00:09):
Yes, I feel like it's a free pass for owners
to not have to spend money because they can claim
they made the playoffs, even though it's like the last
the spots that have just been added, and.
Speaker 11 (01:00:17):
They want to add more. They want to get to
everybody's in.
Speaker 12 (01:00:20):
They want to get fifty percent because they look at
NBA and NFL, fifty percent of the teams get into
the postseason, and I think we're like forty eight or
something like that.
Speaker 9 (01:00:27):
Communism baseball atiple we're called.
Speaker 12 (01:00:29):
They're going to try and add two more teams, split
the league, no divisions, just NLAO and then the top
half of each going.
Speaker 11 (01:00:37):
I think that's what they want to do.
Speaker 9 (01:00:38):
It sounds like college football, what college football is doing well,
I don't think.
Speaker 12 (01:00:40):
I don't really enjoy I don't enjoy that the wild
card if you want that many teams in fine, but
I hate playoff baseball kicking off at two o'clock on
a Tuesday when there's no fans there and no one
can watch on TV.
Speaker 11 (01:00:54):
You know, when the Cubs were in that wild Card game.
Speaker 12 (01:00:56):
My friends that weren't baseball fans came over to our
house and watched it because, oh my goodness, we kicked
off with a primetime game where one of these teams
was going to get eliminated.
Speaker 11 (01:01:06):
It was a one game series.
Speaker 12 (01:01:07):
I know it sucked for the teams that tried so
hard and got it, but it was Yes, if it
was your team, gut rench.
Speaker 11 (01:01:13):
I hate it when the Yankees were in it. When
the Yankees were in it, must see baseball.
Speaker 1 (01:01:16):
Last question for you, give me your mount rushmore of
most hated players and not personally, not personally, oh that
I think the public that I hate a player, Yes,
being a Yankees fan.
Speaker 11 (01:01:28):
Oh, these are so irrational.
Speaker 1 (01:01:29):
So if you clip this up, but I would like
to say, we will not clips up. He does not
dislike you as a human being. It's based as his fandom.
Who you hated the most.
Speaker 12 (01:01:38):
And what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go back
to like my fourteen year old self when it was
really irrational.
Speaker 9 (01:01:42):
Perfect.
Speaker 11 (01:01:43):
Jose Valverde, the closer for the the Higers who did Tigers.
Speaker 9 (01:01:50):
Yeah, de Troy did not like him. Why not though?
Speaker 12 (01:01:52):
Because he was flamboyant and good and like just would
would do all the celebrations that closers do now, but
they didn't do that much sense, same with who was
the closer. Eventually I came no, no, no, I came
around to like him because he played until he's forty five.
Speaker 9 (01:02:07):
Archer, Archer, Archer. No no, no, I don't know Rodney Rodney.
Speaker 11 (01:02:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (01:02:12):
I was like, it was a lot of clothes, I
don't know who, because that meant you were losing got
it and they were celebrating.
Speaker 11 (01:02:18):
So I think closers really rubbed me the wrong way.
Speaker 9 (01:02:19):
As far as Yankees, I'm surprised it's not all Red
Sox for you.
Speaker 11 (01:02:24):
Uh you know what happened.
Speaker 12 (01:02:25):
I moved to California in high school, and they didn't
really care about baseball the way the Northeast cares about it.
So I grew this respect for Phillies, for Mets, for
just the fans out there, even some Midwest fends, just
for being so die hard that it lessened some of
the hate.
Speaker 11 (01:02:41):
But yeah, I hated Pedro. I mean you're talking high school, yeah,
for Pedro, like, and now I love him. I went
as soon as he went to the Mets and we
got to play him again in the World Series. I
was like, yes, give me this back.
Speaker 9 (01:02:51):
Like I like hating you.
Speaker 12 (01:02:52):
Papa Bond was really fun to hate, still actually still
had now as I'm an adult, it's sad to hate,
like still hate, but I'm like to but I like
watching I'm like, ah, watching a car crash on what
you doing?
Speaker 11 (01:03:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:03:04):
Be quiet?
Speaker 9 (01:03:06):
Well well except those four there's only four heads.
Speaker 11 (01:03:08):
Yeah, one irrationals Wilson bet at me. He doesn't deserve
it at all. But he had like a tiny stint
with the Yankees, and I was just like, yeah, this
guy out of here.
Speaker 9 (01:03:15):
You attached to hate quick quick.
Speaker 12 (01:03:17):
I think a Rod was hurt and he was supping
in and I was like, this guy, I don't even
think it's SATs for that bad looking.
Speaker 9 (01:03:21):
Back at it, Well, massive fan, thank you.
Speaker 11 (01:03:24):
I appreciate that song.
Speaker 1 (01:03:25):
My oh final story, I'll tell you so and this
is about you, but indulge me for one second. So
I got invited this this year to go play in
the Major League Baseball Celebrity All Star Game, and I
thought it was pretty cool.
Speaker 9 (01:03:37):
I'm a big fan.
Speaker 1 (01:03:38):
Obviously. We went to Arlington where the Rangers played, and
I went and it was an amazing experience. Actually won
MVP of the game, and it was super cool when
I got the belt.
Speaker 9 (01:03:47):
Thank you. But this is not I thought this was
about it is it is about him.
Speaker 1 (01:03:51):
It's about him because I'm telling you from the minute
that I was invited in and it was announced even
after I won the MVP, probably two hundred tweets where
you're famous, John Boy didn't make it. He's way more
famous than you. That's bull crap. You have such a
loyal army that attacked me for no reason. I'd like
to shout out because I respect that.
Speaker 11 (01:04:08):
All right, Well I didn't. I would never tell him
to do that. Call him right now, don't you.
Speaker 3 (01:04:11):
No?
Speaker 11 (01:04:12):
I mean I actually it was like a reflection on me.
Speaker 1 (01:04:14):
No, great and reflect I was like, that's the passion
for Yeah, that's nice because I was like, they want to.
Speaker 11 (01:04:20):
See me go out there embarrass myself.
Speaker 1 (01:04:21):
Well, I was like, they're right, they're right, because I'm
a fan of you as well. But I really appreciate
the time.
Speaker 12 (01:04:25):
Was Nicky Casher Coach Dion was oh wow, okay, tough
break for Nicky no MVP on his team, I know, and.
Speaker 1 (01:04:32):
Tough break for don that the MVP was a really
unathletic guy, but we pulled it off.
Speaker 11 (01:04:36):
Did you know you were going to get it? Like?
Speaker 1 (01:04:37):
Did you serve about the third inning? Yeah, dude, I
was on after the homer. On the trip, I made
like four plays in the field. But then even after
I made like a really great play, I was like,
John bo should be here. In my head, that's what
I thought. Great to see.
Speaker 9 (01:04:50):
Thank you, no change you so much.
Speaker 11 (01:04:52):
I appreciate that.
Speaker 9 (01:04:53):
Okay, Mike, did you did.
Speaker 3 (01:04:54):
He bust the Astros?
Speaker 1 (01:04:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (01:04:56):
He posted he found the proof that he was the
first one to do that.
Speaker 5 (01:04:59):
Was it trash or the wire.
Speaker 3 (01:05:02):
Says the stealing signs.
Speaker 5 (01:05:03):
I think it was a trash can one.
Speaker 3 (01:05:05):
The wire is hilarious when he's when he's coming around, he's.
Speaker 5 (01:05:07):
Like, yeah, it's like my wife doesn't like when my
shirt gets doesn't like one my nipples.
Speaker 3 (01:05:16):
Because he's like rounding third and he's like, no, no,
don't man.
Speaker 5 (01:05:20):
That was and that was another one, that dirty moment
right there.
Speaker 9 (01:05:23):
That's dirty dog.
Speaker 3 (01:05:24):
Yes, that's a dirty dog.
Speaker 1 (01:05:26):
Now we're gonna talk to UFC fighter Randy Rude Boy Brown.
Randy's nineteen oh five in his Scharnicle in the Nine Knockouts.
He's sixty three.
Speaker 3 (01:05:32):
He is a beast. I mean he's a beast.
Speaker 5 (01:05:35):
Yeah, tall dude, Yeah, really like tall and like thin
but ripped.
Speaker 3 (01:05:39):
He's a beast thanks to Randy here he is Randy
Rude boy Brown.
Speaker 1 (01:05:45):
So a couple of questions about jiu jitsu, okay from
someone who watches UFC M M A as a fan
but doesn't it's too scared to actually try it for himself.
Speaker 9 (01:05:59):
Yeah, I know you look at me and you think
that dude, that dude can go.
Speaker 7 (01:06:02):
That's probably what you think, right, Listen when it comes
to mma and jiu jitsu. I'm not gonna lie. Dudes
that look like you is what you got to look
out for.
Speaker 1 (01:06:09):
Yeah, exactly, I figure so jiu jitsu to me feels
like a lot of getting somebody down on the ground
and then very precise movements while on the ground that
we're not able to really see because we don't train
in it. Like, what do I not see when I'm
watching somebody like you're a black belt jiujitsu?
Speaker 9 (01:06:29):
Correct?
Speaker 7 (01:06:30):
Yeah, what do I not see?
Speaker 9 (01:06:31):
Because you're you're covering someone up? Like what's happening?
Speaker 7 (01:06:34):
Well, the thing about jiu jitsu, right is the gentle
art is what we call it.
Speaker 9 (01:06:38):
I don't look very general.
Speaker 7 (01:06:39):
It doesn't.
Speaker 13 (01:06:40):
It actually very it really is, because here's the thing.
You're automatically a student of anatomy. You automatically become a
student of anatomy. You know where which ways to bend
the joints, which way that they can't bend, or bend
which way they can bend, and also leverage points. You
start to learn about leverage points. So jiu jitsu is
all about just it's like kind of like chess in
(01:07:01):
a way, human chess, because if you make one move
that it's kind of like awe for it's the wrong move.
Another person can capitalize. And it's just you know, it's
a game of inches. It seems like they're just tussling
on the ground and we just doing whatever, But it
really is just a game of inches.
Speaker 1 (01:07:15):
It feels almost cerebral. It is because I'm not because
again I'm watching you guys. It doesn't seem very gentle.
I'll say it again, but but again you guys are
having to find angles.
Speaker 9 (01:07:26):
It feels very angular.
Speaker 7 (01:07:27):
All it's about his angles literally is all really, and
I know I'm.
Speaker 9 (01:07:30):
Not seeing what's actually happening, even just by watching the screen.
Speaker 13 (01:07:33):
What's crazy about jiu jitsu is that you can there's
positions where if you put your hand like this, it's
completely wrong and it's completely destroyed, and it's like it's obsolete.
And your cults would just say, hey, put your hand
like that, and it changes everything and it shuts down
the other person completely.
Speaker 1 (01:07:49):
Because of the body's ability not to bend or turn
or y by a movement of an arm flipping over.
Speaker 7 (01:07:55):
Leverage.
Speaker 13 (01:07:55):
It's all about leverage, the small little things you learn
that that you can do to make change in your
body or make a change in someone else's body.
Speaker 7 (01:08:02):
You know, that's all it really is. It's less athletic
and more uh cerebral.
Speaker 9 (01:08:08):
Whenever you're getting punched in the face.
Speaker 7 (01:08:10):
That's a different thing. That's athletics.
Speaker 9 (01:08:13):
Do you ever Do you ever not feel it because
your adrenaline it's so high.
Speaker 7 (01:08:17):
I couldn't tell you I don't get punch. I tell you,
I don't get.
Speaker 1 (01:08:21):
Tell Come on, you see one of my fights. Yeah,
but but everybody gets hit a little bit.
Speaker 5 (01:08:28):
Hit you get like, got hit a little bit.
Speaker 9 (01:08:30):
He's the greatest dodger of all time now.
Speaker 7 (01:08:32):
Yeah, yeah, there is adrenaline.
Speaker 13 (01:08:34):
Adrenaline is involved, you know, but there's also a mentality
that you go into the fight knowing like, yo, I'm gonna.
Speaker 7 (01:08:39):
Get hit, and you accept it. You know, you accept
that you're going to get hit and you accept that
it's a fight.
Speaker 9 (01:08:44):
But does it hurt real bad while you're in the
middle of it.
Speaker 7 (01:08:46):
It doesn't really hurt. It's punches don't hurt.
Speaker 9 (01:08:49):
You know what hurts?
Speaker 7 (01:08:50):
Yeah, you know, you know what hurts is blows.
Speaker 13 (01:08:56):
Low blows like feel those kicks like bone on bone contact.
But a punch, hey, you don't feel it, you know, Brandy.
Speaker 2 (01:09:03):
Since COVID, you guys sometimes fight at the APEX and
there's no audience, there's no crowd, so literally you can
hear your coach every I mean you hear everyone's coach.
But is there a time where you're listening to the
coach and you're like, bro, I know, like I got
you know what I'm doing well with my coach.
Speaker 13 (01:09:23):
We're always on the same page, right, We're always pretty
much on the same page. That we've been together for
so long, so many years, you know what I mean.
Speaker 7 (01:09:29):
So we're in sync.
Speaker 13 (01:09:30):
But there's I will tell you there's times where I
hear the other coach saying some shit and I'm like, na, bro.
Speaker 8 (01:09:37):
Yeah na.
Speaker 9 (01:09:39):
Whatever.
Speaker 1 (01:09:40):
There ever a time where you feel like your arm's
gonna be lifted or there or there are it's where
you really don't know.
Speaker 7 (01:09:47):
There was one time I thought this dude named Chaos Williams,
that dude's strong man.
Speaker 13 (01:09:52):
And he was at that time, he was knocking everybody out.
He was a prospect and he was putting these dudes away.
He was KAO and everybody. And I was like, damn,
they want me to go in there and be a
stepping stone for this dude.
Speaker 7 (01:10:03):
Huh. I was like not today. We went in there.
We had this crazy back and forth fight.
Speaker 13 (01:10:07):
It was close. He dropped me. You know, I put
on a lot of strikes on him. But we were
standing there and I was unsure that one time.
Speaker 7 (01:10:15):
I was unsure.
Speaker 13 (01:10:15):
I was standing there like this, They said, Randy Brown,
rude boy, iconic picture of me just going.
Speaker 2 (01:10:22):
What I don't understand, though, Randy, is you guys are
literally seconds away from breaking someone's arm, like just I'm
gonna snap your arm right now, like right now, and
then when the fight's over, you're like, oh, bro, give
me a hug.
Speaker 7 (01:10:33):
I love your respect. You you know, mixed martial arts.
At the end of the day, it's still martial arts.
Speaker 13 (01:10:38):
And the premise that martial arts is built on is
less physical and more discipline and mental in a way,
the way of.
Speaker 7 (01:10:47):
Being you know what I mean. So, but you will
break his arm, Oh I will. I'll break it with
a smile. You know, I will break it. But it's
still respect, you know what I mean.
Speaker 13 (01:10:55):
And martial arts has assisted me throughout my life, not
only in the octagon, you know what I mean. So, yeah,
it's still martial arts at the end of the day.
So I can at the end of the day, we're competing,
you know, we're both competing for a bigger purpose to
make money, feed our families, and leave a mark and
create a legacy.
Speaker 7 (01:11:10):
So you know, it's still all love.
Speaker 9 (01:11:12):
Do you watch a lot of tape?
Speaker 7 (01:11:14):
Yes?
Speaker 9 (01:11:14):
Absolutely, of both yourself, will your self scout.
Speaker 7 (01:11:17):
Yeah, I watch my fights all the time. I was
watching them yesterday.
Speaker 9 (01:11:20):
And then of your next opponent.
Speaker 1 (01:11:22):
Will you spend a lot of time watching or have
your guys also watch and try to find tendencies?
Speaker 11 (01:11:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 13 (01:11:30):
Yeah, we watch them, watch them. I try not to
watch too much because here's what happens. When you watch
them too much. You start to over analyze, and you
start to over like think about that thing that they do,
and you're like, oh, he's good at this, and then
you start to think less about the things that you do.
I just got to watch out for that thing. So
I watch a couple of times, and I let my
coaches take over to the rest of their watching.
Speaker 9 (01:11:51):
What's next.
Speaker 13 (01:11:52):
What's next is you know, me getting a top ten
guy hopefully you know what I mean. I whoop his
us and then you know, we move up, move on
through the rankings. You know, come for that gold man.
Speaker 2 (01:12:03):
Do you ever look at the pre fight odds and say, oh,
you got me? Okay, you got me as a dog?
Speaker 10 (01:12:08):
All right?
Speaker 7 (01:12:09):
Sometimes sometimes, you know it's.
Speaker 13 (01:12:13):
Recently I started looking at him, you know, because it's
funny because people they don't really know, you know what
I mean, So it's interesting to do to look at
them and just say, so, I can't bet on myself.
Speaker 9 (01:12:22):
If I could bet on myself, I was allowed to.
Then in life, you bet on yourself.
Speaker 13 (01:12:27):
I do every time, every time, But I can't go
on the odds there's times where I've seen the odds.
Speaker 2 (01:12:31):
And I'm like, damn, I'm about to make someone a
lot of money.
Speaker 9 (01:12:38):
You know that's awesome. Well, appreciate your time.
Speaker 1 (01:12:41):
Thanks for explaining to jiu jitsu to like, to somebody
who knows that there's more happening that I'm not.
Speaker 13 (01:12:48):
I'm telling you, and I wasn't joking in the beginning
when I said that, guys that look like like the
glasses smaller guy, listen, how.
Speaker 9 (01:12:55):
Small do you think I am?
Speaker 7 (01:12:55):
You're not that small.
Speaker 3 (01:12:56):
It's not that small.
Speaker 9 (01:12:57):
But like I'm here and want to fight, you know,
it's not that How big are you?
Speaker 7 (01:13:01):
I'm six six three and a half.
Speaker 9 (01:13:03):
Okay, you're okay, I'm six, but I'm saying that five
or eleven? I don't know. Man, I'm done with this interview.
Can you touch the floor from my feet? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:13:13):
His butts all the way down?
Speaker 7 (01:13:15):
How am I been.
Speaker 9 (01:13:15):
Challenged on my height?
Speaker 2 (01:13:16):
Now?
Speaker 1 (01:13:18):
All right?
Speaker 9 (01:13:18):
What root for?
Speaker 2 (01:13:19):
You?
Speaker 9 (01:13:19):
Appreciate it time?
Speaker 7 (01:13:19):
All right, thank you, thank you man.
Speaker 3 (01:13:22):
All right, thank you guys. That's gonna do it.
Speaker 1 (01:13:25):
Go oh us Eddie having any sort of hot take
this week? Going into that, and then you want to
say to the fans out there.
Speaker 3 (01:13:33):
I don't want to say, do you have any opinions?
Just ripping out of your tongue.
Speaker 5 (01:13:37):
No, not really.
Speaker 6 (01:13:38):
I mean, the only thing I thought about doing during
this whole tireek stuff was watching the body cam. Was
when they were trying to put him down on the
curb and he could say, well, WHOA, my knees hurt.
The only thing I can think of is like, or
I just had surgery.
Speaker 5 (01:13:50):
I think he said.
Speaker 6 (01:13:51):
It's like, that's crazy that his knees hurt so bad
that he can't sit down that easy on a curb,
but then he can go play football and just like
just run and get hit and play like nothing. That
to me stood out a little bit. It's just like
these guys probably hurt all the time. Everything they do,
they're hurting. Oh, it hurts to sit down. Oh, But
then they can go out.
Speaker 2 (01:14:10):
In the field and just perform to the fullest because they.
Speaker 3 (01:14:12):
Don't wear kneepads.
Speaker 1 (01:14:13):
And then you see that and you see like the
guys that want to move fast they go and they
would just wear their pants with no kneepad in.
Speaker 6 (01:14:18):
So while everyone's arguing about the Tyree Hill thing and
what they feel about That's really the only thing I
thought about during the whole thing.
Speaker 1 (01:14:23):
I sure thought he was going faster than he was.
How fast was he Well, first they were like he's
going one to ten. Now they're like the eyeball to
him at sixty and a forty and that's and I
understand've but I've gone sixteen to forty before, and I
understand your rolls window up. There was a lot of
things that I think both sides, if they could extrapolate
each individual thing, the sides would do differently. But I
thought initially that escalated so much for sixteen and forty
(01:14:46):
oh quickly too, Like I I've done sixteen to forty.
Speaker 3 (01:14:49):
And got a ticket.
Speaker 1 (01:14:49):
He's like, I could give you a ticket for reckless driving.
And I'm like, but please don't, officer. I love you
and I love officers.
Speaker 3 (01:14:56):
And they didn't.
Speaker 5 (01:14:57):
Yeah, Tyrek didn't say that. I know, Yeah, I definitely
didn't say that.
Speaker 1 (01:15:02):
Man, how about that car though, there's no way, there's
no way he can go over a speed bump because
it's so low.
Speaker 3 (01:15:06):
That's the first thing I thought, like it was a
Lamborghini I don't know, or something. I was like, I
have to go over a single speed bump.
Speaker 2 (01:15:13):
But but then you see the other his teammates show
up in a Bentley and then all these other cars
show up, Like dang, dude, they all have nice cars.
Speaker 5 (01:15:19):
That's part of the beautiful cars.
Speaker 3 (01:15:21):
Man. You think if they could run fast and catching.
Speaker 8 (01:15:24):
Super All right, Kevin say something going off of that. Actually,
let's keep backpacking on it. But I was thinking about
Scotty Scheffler also getting detained that morning, and I was like,
who had the better day after getting detained?
Speaker 5 (01:15:34):
Oh, that's interesting.
Speaker 1 (01:15:35):
Scotty the problem, I would say, though, because Scotty did
play like crazy, but he did not play good day
after that. Yeah, but the Dolphins ended up winning the game.
Uh so Tyree won the game, got to do a
fun celebration with the handcuffs.
Speaker 8 (01:15:47):
That was great.
Speaker 1 (01:15:48):
Scheffler had a good single day but lost the tournament
and had a terrible like day four good point.
Speaker 3 (01:15:52):
So I will probably go Tyreek had the better because
he got to he got to he got to score
an eighty r touchdown and win.
Speaker 6 (01:15:59):
But that one day though, yeah, one day, I'd say
Scheffler because golf is such a mental game and for
him to just go through all that that morning, and
shoot a.
Speaker 3 (01:16:07):
Sixty Day four is mental two when he shot like
the worst round of.
Speaker 6 (01:16:09):
The year, Well, he's exhausted, he'd been up all night,
you know, the day before he was a jail.
Speaker 1 (01:16:14):
I'm gonna go Tyreek because I'm going to compare that
round that Scheffler shot to the eighty yard touchdown. Those
are even eighty yard touchdown. And then I'm going to
compare the win and the loss. And I think the win,
the Dolphins win in Week one is that tips the
skill that for me.
Speaker 3 (01:16:27):
There's no right answer here.
Speaker 8 (01:16:29):
Because this is not as if Scotty was playing the
Jags of Golf.
Speaker 1 (01:16:32):
He would have was that's correct. Yeah, I'm gonna go
with Tyreek had a better overall from it. It's crazy
to he just calls Drew Rosenhound's agent right then he.
Speaker 5 (01:16:42):
Drew I Drew Drew him getting arrested.
Speaker 1 (01:16:49):
If I like, call my agent when I got pulled over,
he'd be like, I'll like an hour, bro handle your crap.
Speaker 5 (01:16:55):
Hey, we should do that today. Call your agent on
speaker and just yell, hell, do.
Speaker 3 (01:17:02):
We know you don't watch sports. I had something weird happened.
Speaker 10 (01:17:05):
I bought a homeless man a slice of pizza and
a water bottle, and he got upset with me because
I didn't get him.
Speaker 11 (01:17:11):
A pie too?
Speaker 7 (01:17:14):
So what did he say?
Speaker 5 (01:17:14):
Exactly?
Speaker 9 (01:17:15):
How can you play?
Speaker 7 (01:17:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:17:17):
So I was at I was at the gas station.
Speaker 10 (01:17:18):
This guy was like, hey, man, like you have any money?
Like I need some money. I was like, I don't
have any cash. He was like, I just want to
slice of pizza. I was like, oh, I'll go get
you a slice of pizza in there, like you have
any preference whatever. So I go in there and come
out and he was like, man, I kind of wanted
a pie too.
Speaker 3 (01:17:31):
Once they got lunchboks, I was like, what really, well
did you get him a pie?
Speaker 7 (01:17:37):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:17:37):
I didn't.
Speaker 5 (01:17:37):
I didn't really.
Speaker 3 (01:17:39):
Oh man, I had to get out of there.
Speaker 1 (01:17:41):
Maybe he was just trying to get anything he could
because he knew here's somebody was nice and he's hungry,
and why not try to ask for a little bit more.
Speaker 9 (01:17:46):
That's true.
Speaker 3 (01:17:46):
It's very nice of you though, to get in and
you got his water.
Speaker 1 (01:17:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:17:50):
I got him some water too.
Speaker 5 (01:17:51):
What kind of pizza? What was on it?
Speaker 7 (01:17:54):
Straight?
Speaker 5 (01:17:54):
Straight pepp running?
Speaker 3 (01:17:55):
You can ever go wrong with that?
Speaker 5 (01:17:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:17:56):
Man? And maybe he didn't e Wan pizza. You just
wanted money anytime.
Speaker 10 (01:18:00):
If anybody asked me for some food out there, I'm
gonna get them some food.
Speaker 3 (01:18:03):
But like bones, you want to burger, I'd like, Casey,
what do you want to say?
Speaker 10 (01:18:11):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (01:18:11):
You know, I'm just glad the NFL is back less
flags refs uh and uh yeah, I'm just Uh.
Speaker 5 (01:18:17):
Let's let's get started.
Speaker 1 (01:18:19):
We're playing Kill's playing University of Ballabama Birmingham, which is
it's old Dill first team.
Speaker 3 (01:18:24):
Oh, Caitlin's like begging that Arkansas go to the n A.
I A, so she said, she goes.
Speaker 1 (01:18:27):
I always said playing A no scholarships and they could
beat everybody because she hates it. So you're at the
household a lot nicer. So I hate it because I'm
still pissed.
Speaker 5 (01:18:37):
Yeah, so we'll we'll we'll win, right and playing in Birmingham,
are you playing?
Speaker 1 (01:18:45):
Well, we're paying them, Yeah, so we'll win. It's delle
first team, don't for will come up and then we'll
you know, have a game next week. But this game
doesn't count. Wish we had a game that we could
actually like do something this week. And I'm still going
to be just pissed off. A week from now, like
it doesn't leave until something comes in and takes us place.
Speaker 5 (01:19:01):
This is a long time usually over it.
Speaker 3 (01:19:03):
I'm not though, because it was total.
Speaker 1 (01:19:06):
It was a total, like absolute earthquake, tornado, hurricane of coaches,
missed decisions, every natural disaster at once, mud slide.
Speaker 3 (01:19:16):
What do you want?
Speaker 5 (01:19:17):
Tsunami?
Speaker 1 (01:19:17):
What's the hole that happens the whole? Quick sand no
sink cole. Yeah, it all happened at once because of
terrible decision making. So yeah, I'm so pissed Mike anything.
Speaker 3 (01:19:31):
I was like, why you bring it up again?
Speaker 2 (01:19:33):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:19:33):
No, by this game doesn't fix it though. If we
win one hundred nut that doesn't fix it. We're supposed
to bet them.
Speaker 3 (01:19:37):
What if they just play incredible though, but we were
supposed to. We're a thirty point favorite just about. It
doesn't matter. It's like we beat you a PB week
one by seventy.
Speaker 5 (01:19:44):
I was like, wow, like, no, they look great man,
that game.
Speaker 3 (01:19:47):
Yeah, show me something now, go ahead, Mike, I'll say
you hook them. Yeah, okay, We're done.
Speaker 5 (01:19:55):
All right, thank you guys.
Speaker 3 (01:19:56):
We'll see you next week.
Speaker 7 (01:19:57):
