Speaker 1 (00:04):
This is a podcast called twenty five whist stuck and
they wear a whist so yeah, it's too bad, But
what did you expect? It's a podcast called twenty five Whistles,
twenty Wine, Wheel, Battle.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Wheels shows on frostdiki coming up from Upperhand Fantasy.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
He's awesome. It's our first time, like fantasy football. It's
too excited. We go broad strokes too, So it's a
good one. Love that guy. I just got back from France.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
I got some stories to tell, and if you listen
to this show, you're gonna hear more of the juicy stuff,
the details.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
You know.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Look on the radio show that is a massive broadcast
show heard by millions of people. Uh, sometimes on purpose,
sometimes passively. But I can't spend twenty minutes talking about
specific things. Sometimes people get bored or it's like not
I'm not going to say appropriate. But some of these
stories I just wouldn't tell on that show. And I'll
give more details, like even like I never told this
(01:12):
story about me selling my house on the real show,
I told it here on this one where I was
like TAMZ did the whole story, like I addressed it.
There's some things I only had I feel like I
can address here on this show.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
So I got some stuff to talk about.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
First of all, I go over quick recap. The company
calls says, hey, we need you to go to France,
and like, what's up, hey, bonjoul.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
We did take French in college? Sure did, and I said,
let's go. Actually I really didn't want.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
To go, but I understand what I was doing, and
I was like, man, I'm right in the middle of
the show.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
They're like, well, there's a lot of clients.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
I didn't know what can Lion was, what it's what
it's called can Lion. But really there's all these companies,
I mean thousands of them that go out there business
we do business with. So I'm out there, I'm doing
a bunch of meetings. It was great for me to go.
I did not have fun, but it was great for work.
I did almost nothing French. Nothing fun.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Oh how do you not go to France because I'm
working the whole time? You ever heard of it?
Speaker 5 (02:12):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Yeah, and have fun while you're working, dude.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
I was going like ten hours as meeting after meeting.
I'm with the CFO CEO. So it wasn't specifically a
fun thing. There were fun moments and as some stories.
So part of it was on like night three, there
there's this party, and I use the word party for me.
It wasn't so much a party, but it was like
our company and oddly my agency had teamed up. Not
(02:36):
because of me, but I'm my agent is Uta.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
My company is.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
iHeartRadio obviously, and every year for like the past twenty
years they've teamed up. What they do is they bring
out a bunch of clients and they have this party
for them, and you go and you mingle basically with
people that are cfo CEOs cmos, and so they have
an artist that plays it every year, and this year
it was Lenny Kravitz, and I was like, this is cool.
(03:00):
The two coolest things I've been able to do in
the last this gets to a sports part two. But
the two coolest things I've been able to do musically
in like the past year were two client things. Because
I did one in Vegas where it was Weezer and
there were like fifty people in there, not because nobody
wanted to come, but because it was a private thing
and I stood right on the stage and watch one
of my favorite bands of all time do all the hits.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
So same thing with Lenny Kravitz. I love Lenny Kravitz,
Love Lenny Kravitz.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
It's the late nineties, from Baby Over till It's O.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
Does Katie know Lenny Kravitz? Here? I'm gonna be about
to get to that because as soon as I come in,
she goes, how Isleny Kravitz? And I'm like, you're twelve?
How do you know Lenny Kravitz?
Speaker 2 (03:42):
But as we've learned about Katie, she hits a bit
different because she's like an old person inside.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Yeah, in a few wonderful ways. How do you know
Lenny Kravitz?
Speaker 6 (03:51):
I just know good music?
Speaker 3 (03:52):
That's all I needed to hear. He was awesome.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
And he starts off and he's like, I'm gonna play
the songs. One gets sunglasses on, everything, everything left, the
jacket ripped down, ripped out of course, and he.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Goes, oh, are you gonna go my way? It sounds perfect?
So that's not even the real That was cool. It
was right on.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
The ocean, this crazy like expensive French hotel, what ocean?
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Who cares? Dude, I don't know what I knew? You
didn't know, And be honest with you, No, idea. Got
carsick on the way over there too. I had to like.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
But it was the only event, is the only thing
my wife went to me with, because she just went
because she was like, I'll go.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
The company paid for everything. Yeah, and so we go.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
And I didn't see her that much. I see you're
back in the hotel room at night. But this is
the one thing she went to me with. And she's
not a Lindy Kravitz fan. She mostly knows him as
Senate from Hunger Games more than anything.
Speaker 6 (04:47):
He didn't do that.
Speaker 7 (04:48):
He's in the movie.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Yeah, he played Senna. You never read the books, dude,
you were he didn't read the books and you just
saw the movies.
Speaker 7 (04:54):
I think I saw one of them.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
Okay, you were on the English channel. I'm not sure
that's true. Looking, there's a con can how do you
spell can C A N N E S. It's not it.
I'm seeing the Bay of can.
Speaker 5 (05:05):
Wasn't it like the French fur vi era? I mean,
is that an ocean? That's not an ocean?
Speaker 3 (05:09):
But like you're to be a part of it. All
I know is Central Pe was kind of near. I
guess it was the Atlantic, but I do not know
because Mediterranean.
Speaker 7 (05:19):
Yeah, Mediterranean?
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Is that where I was? Is that what that was?
You guys know you don't know that crap?
Speaker 7 (05:23):
Well, you're looking up Belgium over here.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
It's the Bay of Cans.
Speaker 8 (05:28):
Okay, let me zoom out a little bit.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
Hold up, I'm zooming out of That's not a bay
that's big. What is that?
Speaker 7 (05:35):
It's a Mediterranean?
Speaker 3 (05:37):
No, No, it's the freaking Atlantic Ocean. No, that is
the Balayan Sea, dude.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Okay, but it's like that it does kind of see
in there, huh, Balayans. It's a Mediterranean, but it connects
with So it's the Atlantic Ocean that kind of connects
into that.
Speaker 9 (05:55):
Yeah, it goes through very interesting.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Hey look here's the thing. So we get there, who cares? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (06:05):
And my first time there, and I'm like, who else
is here? Like talent wise, because I just wanted somebody
to like be able to talk to at these events
because there's mostly a bunch of executives, and they were like,
it's you Jay Shetty big Ja Shetty fan is well podcaster. Yeah, okay,
(06:25):
Wilmer Valderama here that is dated dim Levado.
Speaker 6 (06:29):
You know, wait from that seventies show y.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
Yeah. No, I know in cis.
Speaker 5 (06:35):
Yeah, we never really got his backstory whenever he was
on that seventies show.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
Is that true?
Speaker 6 (06:39):
So many questions and never.
Speaker 9 (06:41):
Told about I know that we know Eddie talking somebody
who's delivering some real news here.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
That's part of the show that never gives backstory.
Speaker 5 (06:49):
Really. Yeah, it's kind of just no details, and we
didn't know where he was from and we never got there.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
But it's kind of like Chandler's Job and Friends. Yeah exactly, Yeah,
transponds stories, yeah, weenus he worked on the Wien Okay,
So I'm like, who else is here?
Speaker 2 (07:04):
And they're like, well other podcasters. Draymond Green's coming, and.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
I'm like, let's go. That's awesome. I'm like, how do
I meet Draymond Green?
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Because Draymond Green does a show on Calherds Sport podcast network,
and cal Herd is iHeart Fox Sports is iHeart related?
Speaker 3 (07:21):
So I'm like, I gotta meet Draymond Green. And you know,
Draymond's a nice guy, like you just know, absolutely as
for as big and really yeah absolutely I think that too,
like as mean as he is on the court. And
I tell Kaylen, I have to meet Draymond Green and
She's like, I don't want to bet dreymig Green, and
I'm like why.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
She goes kicks Steven Adams in the nuts in the playoffs.
So my wife's a big thunder fan nice and so
she immediately is like, I don't want to meet Draymond Green.
He kicked Stephen Adams in the nuts. And I'm like,
that's funny. And so I say to one of the
executives playing in the event. I said, Hey, how can
I meet Draymond Green. She says, I'll see him next
to you at the Lenny Kravitz thing.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
Perfect. Wow, And I'm like, we have seats there. She goes, well,
there's still little stalkers, but I like it. Oh yeah,
you've heard nothing.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
Rose.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
So there are there's like three rows of four tables
in front of a rope, and then everybody else is standing.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
So it was like super VIP in the tables. My
wife and I included, which is pretty cool. We're sitting
in my new frontrom Bank of America, or said with
somebody else, and right next to me was the table
or Dramond Green.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
What's my table here? Dremongreen table there? So I'm ready
to be dry Macgreen and I don't reason to bother people,
but if we're sitting next to each other at it
of an event, you have to talk. And I made
sure to get the seat that was closest to that table,
and I made sure when people sat at that table,
they took the seats too farthest away, so Drey Margren
had to sit next to me.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Kind of stocker. Get more stocker. I like it. So
it's like five minutes for Lenny. We goes to have
our seats. Seats are empty, there's no draymagreene. I'm like,
what the crap.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
They're like, all right, the lights start. They started to
get the lights ready for Lenny. After the little presentation,
like there's no no dra Magrene.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
I'm turned around looking at everybody, looking for the tall guy,
trying to find Draymond Green. No Draymond Green. They start
the show, Lenny Len Lenny and I look over, no
Draymond Green. Nothing. Lenny plays another song American Woman, look over,
no Draymond Green. Lenny plays I want to get away,
look over no Draymond Green.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
No.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
I know it sucks. So Lenny finished this show.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
By this time, I've forgotten about Draymond Green for the moment,
have you not really, because I'm still looking around the
crowd to see if he's like walking.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
Aroun because there's a bunch of just like pretty famous people.
Speaker 7 (09:33):
He's pretty noticeable too, obviously, big big dude walking out.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
I see Draymond Green. Whoa, And I'm like, this is
a spot, this is my spot, this is my wait.
Speaker 8 (09:43):
So, had he been there and just maybe found out
that you had moved the chair sick.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
That I didn't think about, that's a great point.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
I think he got there like halfway through and did
not want to walk up into that part and just
watch the show from back, And so I know, ever
want to be the guy that goes up and it's
like can I get a picture? I will say, hey,
I'm a huge fan, but I'm not gonna say can
I get a picture if there's a risk of it
being annoying to them because other people are around and
starting a whole picture situation.
Speaker 3 (10:12):
Draymond Green had like three friends with him or so.
The guy was talking to every person there, huge smile,
like hugging people. It was like the friendliest giant I
have ever seen.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
I didn't get to talk to him because I wasn't
gonna wait in line and we were on the way out. Anyway,
I did see him, but I was even surprised at
how much time he was taking talking to people, Like
what smile?
Speaker 3 (10:42):
I don't know. I didn't expect him to be so available.
Who were his buddies? I don't know, splash brothers? How
funny would that be? You see that.
Speaker 7 (10:51):
Big guys are.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
Not as big as him. He's a giant. I mean
he's probably six nine.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Because he's he's not a to for a five, he's
not yeah, or for a four or five, a four,
four and a half.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
You know, he's not as big as he should be,
but he plays bigger but no position.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Kevin four and a half.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
He was like I didn't get to meet him, but
he was there. I walked right by him and he
was super cold. Everybody you like walk by like just
hit his shoulder, Like no, But I have.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Other cool stories that I wanted a way to know to.
We are going to talk about Kevin Celtics, but we
moved like who cares? Who cares about that? At this
party that I went to just to meet Draymond Green
and Lenny Kravitz, I didn't. I didn't meet Lenny. I
didn't stick around. I had meetings the next morning because
I made notes on this.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
Gotta stick around, okay whatever, So I wrote Draymond Green
had to seat next to me, saw him late, got it? Boom.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
I'm at the bar. There's this dude in front of me.
Not a lot taller than I am, if any maybe
an inch or two in a white jacket. Black dude
really wide mm hmm. And he's getting no, not that wide,
not like fat, but why And some guy goes up
and taps him on the shoulders, like hey, can I
(12:06):
get a picture? And he goes, yeah, I just don't
want to start a situation where everybody's asking me for pictures.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
He turns around and it was Shannon Sharp.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Oh wow, so I could tell you, And I'm like,
I'm standing behind him, listen, I'd love to get a
picture of Shannon Sharp.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
Shannon Sharp also on cow Herd. iHeart podcast network.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
And so I'm like, hey, I'll take it, and I'll
I say the Shannon sharps.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
If you haven't give me his phone, I'll do it.
I'll be cool.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
And so I take the picture and I kind of
I don't hold the phone up. I take it like
underneath my chin where my body's hiding the phone, hand
the guy on the phone and he walks on, and
Shanna Sharp.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
I appreciate that, And I said, you walk that was it?
Walked on?
Speaker 7 (12:47):
Did you do it in a deeper voice? So we're
you're like, no problem.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
Man, I don't know. Maybe I did naturally, I don't know.
He was appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
I was like, I think it was as like a
low volume voice and you're tone kind of goes deeper
when you lower the volume.
Speaker 7 (13:02):
Naturally, that got you, dug.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
Yeah, So Shannon Shannon.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
Sharp met him, kind of took a picture for him.
Speaker 7 (13:13):
All right, how big is he?
Speaker 3 (13:14):
Thick as can be? Look up his size because I'm
gonna say he's not over six two and.
Speaker 7 (13:18):
He is like zero percent body that's six to two.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
Okay, that's what I would have guess about. It's taller
than me, zero percent body fat Kevin, dude, have you
seen I haven't seen him, sure less than a while.
But but thick gus? Why didn't say fat? Like his
back was why? That's all I saw too, was his back?
But nice to take a picture.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
But also it wasn't like Draymond nice but also doesn't
have to live down the reputation that Draymond hasn't being
not nice on the court.
Speaker 6 (13:48):
About to ask, do you think Draymond's doing like a
pr I don't.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
I think Draymond off the court is I would equate
it to in a much less skilled type way. When
I'm doing a show, I got a hundred things to say,
I got a hundred opinions.
Speaker 10 (14:01):
This is me.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
I'm big.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
When I'm not, I got nothing to say. People are like,
why is this dude not he doesn't talk, I shout.
Same with Draymond, big person out when he's off, he's
probably happy. When he's on, he's probably mean and angry.
So that's not even my best story. He same party.
At the party, oh dude, it's awesome. Like the people
(14:24):
that were there, it was so packed though at the end,
I just wanted to get out of there. But also
I want to say this, at the risk of sounding
partially douchey, Yeah you're safe, you're good.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
I didn't feel like it was bothered some when people
were asking to take pictures of me, but because people
would hey, can I get a picture? Sure?
Speaker 7 (14:42):
But not these people though, people that work for the company.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
No, it could be random clients. I mean, because there
are a lot of.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Companies who got invited to this, so it's like executives
in the company.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
So people come and be like, hey, gotta get a picture.
Some people would be like people in the company, okay,
and I'd be like, absolutely, you didn't want to be
like I don't want to start a training. I guess
the thing is, I never felt like that was a possibility.
I think that's what it is. I never feel like
it's going to turn into the Beatles nineteen fifty nine
when someone wants to take a picture with me. Yeah,
these other athletes different stories. Yes, I agree, and maybe
(15:16):
that's what it is.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
So we're leaving and we got sent there in like
a black Tesla van, pretty slick, but they're all black.
It's all black Tesla Vans or black test whatever this is,
or like Mercedes Vans. So every car looked the same
and every driver was in a black suit and a tie.
(15:37):
So you're just out there searching for your car, and
there's a line and people are like standing at the
front trying to find their car.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
And I'm standing next.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
To a dude and it's me and my wife and
just him a little more casual black dude, kind of
longer hair.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
But not in a suit, but looking like he's pretty
put together but not huge, and so I'm going, hm hm, Paul, No,
not super tall.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
We'll look him up, Like if he looked at me,
he'd probably go this guy either does finance or some
kind of creative talking because I have a nerdy kind
of look but also a.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
Hot wife, so it's like I must do something. Yeah,
something's off right.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
Yes, a painter that was not that would not be
No one would think this is a guy who just
works hard for a living. So I felt like he
was an artist even how he was dressed like put together,
not just like dressed nine artist, paint artist, or like
a creator.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Some sort of creator. I felt like he was out
there a creator artist because of his clothes.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
They were cool, not just look good and stupid. They
were cool or like an athlete. And I was leaning
toward musician, and I'm like, what's good. I'll just say
what's up. We're standing there looking waiting for a car,
just him and I and I'm like, what's up?
Speaker 6 (17:12):
Man?
Speaker 2 (17:12):
No, I didn't say it like that, so what's over there? No,
I said, uh, you're trying.
Speaker 3 (17:17):
To find your car. Oh No, that's like dumb and
dumber going skiing.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
I got skis true and he was like, yeah, you're
trying to find yours and I was like yeah, because
everybody's trying to find theirs.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
And I said, as yours of Vanniels. No.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
I ordered it uber and I'm trying to get it
in and I'm like, oh, I said, I had anyway here.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
When is Bobby? He goes, hey, I'm DeAndre and I
was like, it's freaking DeAndre Hopkins. What yeah?
Speaker 2 (17:45):
And so I'm like I put it together and I
was like, where are you from? So in my head,
I'm think that's DeAndre and down drop.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
As soon as he said DeAndre, you knew was DeAndre
felt ninety percent. Sure. Weird thing about football players is
that they have their helmet on.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
Sure, but he's got d dreads, longer hair, like I said,
but if here wasn't, it was like putting a bun
or something.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
I don't know. And so.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
I'm like, oh, I said, yeah, where are you from?
He's like, I'm from South Carolina. I'm like, oh, that's
god Drop And I said oh, yeah, sod what party
told me? I said, oh, and my friend Charlott made
the god is from near the same town he's from.
And I'm like, oh, my friend Charlemage and goes, okay,
stop saying you have a black friend.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
No.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
I'm like, I'm like, literally in front of him, no,
but she like said it. I'm I'm like, no, no, no.
First of I have a lot of I'm that guy.
I have a lot of black friends. But literally they're
from the around the same part. There's from South Carolina too.
Didn't say Darius, did I But they're from around the
same part of that state. I said, do you know
(18:44):
Charlotte goes, yeah, Medamental last year and I was like,
huh so cool. He waited for his car.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
His phone was dying, and I'm like, if your phone dies,
you can just hop in with us. We're going back
to the same because was like thirty minutes away, but
it was all the same city.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
That might be too much. Well, and it was like,
oh cool, cool, I think cool, cool, cool. Yeah, yeah,
thanks for the no.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
I think he found his car and so I'm like
I told Caitlin, I was like, that's Dowdrew Hawkins. He
was super chill, and she was like, okay, cool, Like
she is not a star straight by anybody.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
It's crazy.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
No.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Once I saw her starstruck Larry David. She loves Larry David.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
And we sat next to him at a table in
California at like a little restaurant and she was like,
oh my god, sorry David, and and she's like, I'm
always she was always like I think these like weird
funny guys, like that's my type. And I'm like, oh
my god, you're a weird, funny Larry David to her.
So I said, hey, man, you robb with us whatever.
(19:46):
I think he gets the car or he just disappears,
I don't know. And I'm thinking, let me just DMHM
like five minutes later, so I go on.
Speaker 7 (19:53):
You didn't even get home yet.
Speaker 3 (19:55):
Well, I also I said, no, no, god, no, please
tell me.
Speaker 9 (19:57):
You didn't say, oh that's funny.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
I am. We talked. I said, hey, beause he lives
in Nashville.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
For those who know Deondre Hopkins places the Titans now
lives in Nashville, and they go, where do you live
in Nashville?
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Like in the DM where do you live?
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Human mouth? Because I was like, where do you live?
And I told him where I lived and he's like, oh, yeah, yeah,
And so he told you where he lived at General Vicinity.
Maybe I don't know, he set it down in town.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
So I was like, oh't know.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
We kind of hit it off. Let me send him
a DM. It was, I damned him not ten minutes
from after we finished talking. It was probably a little aggressive.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
It is a bit aggressive, but I was just kind
of excited about it.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
And so I wrote, Hey, good to meet you in
the car line. If you ever want to pod, hit
me up. I have a studio on my property.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
In the town. That's it. Wrote that. He replied, Oh,
let's go.
Speaker 7 (20:57):
How much later?
Speaker 3 (20:58):
He replies, I've never met who is?
Speaker 6 (21:01):
That wasn't me?
Speaker 3 (21:05):
He replied, First.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Of all, I'm not gonna go I'm not gonna fall
into his main messages because I'm just random, right, So
I'm gonna go into probably.
Speaker 7 (21:15):
He replied, no matter what it is.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
Yeah, he replied, but my times are off because I
was in a different country. I'm gonna say, he replied,
within like three or four hours, it's pretty good.
Speaker 7 (21:25):
That's really good.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
And he said.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
He sent two lines and you tell me if you
feel like he's being for the lines. So again I
say this, good to meet you in the car line.
If you ever want to pod, hit me up. I
don't even say want to pod. I just felt like
I needed to be cool. I'm gonna be honest with you.
I don't say that. I don't know, dude.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
I felt like I needed to act cooler because I
I'm not cool. So I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
You know, like be on the podcast. You know, that's
how they say it on the cool shows. I listened
to it like on the pod. I just wanted to
think I was cooler than I am. So I said,
good to meet you in the car line, if you
ever want to pod, hit me up. I have a
studio on the property. I didn't even need to say that.
I just wanted to say how to property. I guess,
so I like that, Come on, you have to Okay,
Yeah it's a bit flexy, but I felt like I
need to like side flex on him. M hm, and
(22:12):
he replies back two lines, same brother, exclamation point, I'll
be in contact.
Speaker 3 (22:18):
That's great, that's solid that he replied at all. Yeah,
pretty positive.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Same brother, exclamation point. I'll be in contact, no punctuation.
It's like when you go on a dude's or whatever,
you text him what's a girl or dudes like how
you love? That's what we're doing right now. We're evaluating
the DeAndre Hopkins d M and then and then what
did you say?
Speaker 1 (22:46):
No?
Speaker 3 (22:46):
I didn't. There's nothing for me to say. He didn't
ask no question.
Speaker 7 (22:49):
Cool, No, you can't say no, I didn't even know.
Speaker 8 (22:51):
I'm just saying based on how you've been acting so
far in all your stories.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
Like, man, I was totally cool. From that, you'd be
like cool cool, Like like when do you think like, uh,
I text him like back in America he seen if
he made it home to America? Okay, so he said
same brother, point look at you, look at you, look
(23:18):
at that at that text? What do we think that means? Though?
Do we think he will ever at all? Let's back
it up.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
Do you feel like he enjoyed the experience with me? M? Yeah,
if he replied, I would think so too, it could
be easily ignored it.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
Right, enjoyed Like what do you mean enjoyed?
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Like felt like this is a dude that like he's cool,
but y'all didn't say much. But We hung out for
like two or three minutes, and I was like, you
ride and like I live near you, and like I
don't know I have a black friend. You know, I
do feel like all jokes aside, we.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
Were kind of cool. I feel like he thought I
was okay, so or he wouldn't have replied. I agree
with that.
Speaker 8 (24:04):
I'm thinking fifty to fifty like he was like, I
don't know whatever. I'll just respond because he may be
someone I don't know who he is, but he may
be someone I could work with in the future, so
let me at least respond.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
But that's okay.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
I would even accept that, right because that means I'm
not someone he doesn't want to work with in the
future exactly.
Speaker 3 (24:21):
I don't want to work with him. I just want
to hang out. No, no, no, your property, you gotta you
want to pod the pod?
Speaker 2 (24:25):
I know I want to do the pod. Yeah, he'll
be in contact. Will he ever be in contact now?
Is a question, O, Katie. I'm coming to you, okay.
Speaker 6 (24:34):
If this was a dating thing, I would just wait
it out.
Speaker 3 (24:36):
No, but we're not. I'm not going to I know that.
But will he be in contact with me? Yes? Or no?
Speaker 6 (24:41):
You might have to nudge him. If you don't hear
from him in a month.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
I poke poke and it doesn't even poke, but I
just write poke in parentheses and send it.
Speaker 5 (24:49):
Maybe in a month if you haven't heard from him,
be like, hey, just touching base avail.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
I would never do that. I would never touch a
base man man. I mean, will he ever just reach
out to me unprovoked? Yes?
Speaker 10 (25:04):
Or no?
Speaker 6 (25:05):
I mean.
Speaker 5 (25:08):
When you're bring Caitlin in and ask like third third perspective,
fly on the wall.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
That's as I need to know. That's great. Let me
ask her. She's gonna say.
Speaker 6 (25:16):
No, Yeah, maybe she provide some insight.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
Hey, we're talking about whenever.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
We I met DeAndre Hopkins in the car line as
we were waiting for the car and he was waiting
for Zuber and if I played it cool and I
messaged him like five minutes into the car and he
did message me back a few hours later going like
hey something, what do you say?
Speaker 3 (25:38):
He said like cool, I'll be in contact or something.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
How did you feel like that experience went with DeAndre
Hopkins and myself? Did you feel like I was a
loser or that I was like, you're proud to be
my wife because I played it cool. Will you just
let me know thank you.
Speaker 6 (25:53):
I don't think he would have responded at all.
Speaker 5 (25:55):
If he didn't want anything to do with you, we
could have he could have said, oh I didn't see it.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
We got a problem.
Speaker 8 (26:02):
Urban Dictionary says pod means like a short for potner.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
No, that's not true, because I listened to pod a partner.
Pod is not partner.
Speaker 8 (26:11):
I know, but they said like it says that they
use partner. So maybe he thinks, like you want to pod,
like you want to be partners.
Speaker 6 (26:18):
When Wales made that never.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
Hpps right Whales?
Speaker 2 (26:20):
May you guys are going into if you if you
listen to any podcast or like, hey, who's on the
pod this week?
Speaker 3 (26:25):
Yes?
Speaker 7 (26:26):
Do you guys listen to that pod?
Speaker 3 (26:27):
Yeah? I'm like, you want to come do a pod? Yeah?
Speaker 7 (26:30):
That partner?
Speaker 3 (26:31):
I know, we know.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Maybe he thinks I want to move and get a
pod put in front of the house and he can
help load the pod up like you know, big yeah,
storage pod, storage pod?
Speaker 5 (26:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (26:39):
Okay? Read well DeAndre Hopkins ever hit me back? Are
one of y'all following each other? Great question?
Speaker 2 (26:47):
I'm not following him. I didn't want to look desperate
and he is not following.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Me, maybe you should I hit him with the follow
now after he said that, Oh that may be too much. No,
it's like.
Speaker 5 (26:57):
You're building a report, building a little thing.
Speaker 7 (27:01):
Don't follow if you weren't following them before.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
Here's the thing, though, here's why I think you two
could be wrong.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
My instinct is not to do it too. But they're
both younger than us, and they're both far better at
social media, and they live this life. So you can't
just go know you're wrong because you're young. They're better
at us than this.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
How old is DeAndre Hope? It doesn't matter. We're talking
about social media.
Speaker 8 (27:21):
But if he's his age, they should they know the
same stuff about true true, But I'm still in social
media world.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
No, okay, anybody that says that really is.
Speaker 7 (27:31):
In social media world.
Speaker 6 (27:34):
I would follow them, I think so.
Speaker 3 (27:36):
I mean, he's got one point six million followers. I
have one point two million followers.
Speaker 6 (27:39):
You guys, are you know peers?
Speaker 10 (27:41):
Maybe?
Speaker 3 (27:42):
Yeah? I think like sending another message would be a
step too far, but it follow is like a cool
all right man?
Speaker 6 (27:48):
Maybe?
Speaker 2 (27:49):
And I gave it time. Yeah, yeah, okay, I'm gonna
follow nice all right.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
Followed nice. So that's my experience with DeAndre Hopkins.
Speaker 8 (27:58):
Another definition for no more of endearment towards a female.
Speaker 2 (28:04):
We don't need it's a problem. Okay, pod girl saw
anybody else out there? I saw those who at the
same party.
Speaker 7 (28:12):
That's crazy.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
Yeah, it's really cool.
Speaker 7 (28:16):
Hey, if you could get one of those three on
the pod, who would it? Bemond Shannon Sharp?
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Would be a great sound like the different You know
what if I could get DeAndre Hopkins here because he
could be in person, Yeah, in studio if we're talking
about practically, probably DeAndre Hopkins because he come hang out.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
That's that's not my dude, now, yeah, that's my dude.
You follow him. He doesn't follow you, I know, not yet,
I know.
Speaker 10 (28:41):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
But if any of the three would come to the studio,
probably Draymond Green. Yeah, okay, that's what that's it?
Speaker 3 (28:50):
What's his name there with Shannon?
Speaker 4 (28:52):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (28:52):
Skip? No, they do that show? Yeah, they don't. It's
like people that I go somewhere like whe's amy, I'm
on vacation with my wife.
Speaker 2 (28:59):
What are you talking about? Words, it's not a show.
We're not traveling together, you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (29:03):
They not do that show anymore.
Speaker 7 (29:05):
No, he left. He's ESPN now know that.
Speaker 3 (29:08):
But even if they were a dumb question, where's it it, man,
that'd be like, where's the elway? Yeah? John, we haven't
played together? Okay, So that was that.
Speaker 7 (29:21):
That's cool.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
Yes, I do want to go over what's up?
Speaker 10 (29:26):
What?
Speaker 3 (29:27):
No, No, I say the word car Stanley and.
Speaker 2 (29:33):
They're just waiting for what I'm about to say next
because they know, and I'm like, we're gonna go ketch.
Speaker 3 (29:38):
We shall talk about the Celtics. Okay, may take a break. Mind, Yeah, okay,
let's take a break. Okay, before we get to the
tittle tattle, let's talk about the Celtics. Congratulations, thank you.
Game five was pretty much a blowout the half course.
That was awesome.
Speaker 7 (29:57):
That's when I knew. I officially felt, Okay, I think
we got this one.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
I couldn't sleep and I watched a lot of it.
Speaker 4 (30:02):
He did.
Speaker 3 (30:02):
It was at two thirty local time. It was just brutal.
I couldn't sleep because my schedules all off. But what
is it? What is the broadcast over there? Look like
like same here on the phone. Oh you're on the phone.
You don't want to think I'm watching like frost A too.
They don't have that. We watched France versus I don't.
Speaker 2 (30:19):
My TV doesn't come out of my house unless i'm
watching like something streaming now.
Speaker 3 (30:23):
No, I watched my phone in the bed, my watch asleep. Okay,
I would think they would have them in friends TV,
pot is asleep. Pod your thoughts.
Speaker 7 (30:41):
On the whole thing, winning it everything, just your.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
Thoughts before I have my own.
Speaker 7 (30:46):
Just happy, just happy the drought. The drought is over.
Speaker 3 (30:49):
It's not a drought.
Speaker 7 (30:49):
It's been over five years for Boston.
Speaker 3 (30:51):
That's talking about. I said, having a middle finger. I
don't even spend the middle finger.
Speaker 2 (30:55):
I don't use it, I don't share it, I don't
spend it. And I said, hey man, congrats on Boston.
Get another going on losing their drought under five years
title flip off.
Speaker 7 (31:03):
Basically, it's the second longest drought the Celtics is in
Boston history of the main four. Huh oh yeah, the Celtics.
Yeah on the day too, which is crazy. Actually, yeah,
it was awesome. It was great. Finally it's been a
long time coming.
Speaker 3 (31:17):
Finally. You just can't say finally because that's stupid.
Speaker 7 (31:19):
With the Celtics, so I'm saying, and Brown has been
a long time coming.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
No, it hasn't. They probably they've been, but this has
been a long time. You're so spoiled. It has not
been a long time. They've gotten close a couple of times.
It's been really cool. It's been a process with them,
for sure. Yeah, but it hasn't been a long time.
But they turned a corner for sure.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
Okay, it hasn't been a long time. It feels like
a long time a day, and you know, but you're
a Boston fan, you know it's a long time. Arkansas
has won a championship and football is sixty four.
Speaker 7 (31:46):
But you're the only fan of one team. Well, I
guess multiple sports.
Speaker 3 (31:49):
Yeah, no, I'm glad for you that it won. But
you can't say it's a long time because it's insulting
all of us who have sucky teams. Eddie about them
flow boys in the even the NFC championship. That's been
a long time. It's been a long time. That's a
long time.
Speaker 5 (32:02):
I was when the.
Speaker 8 (32:03):
Cubs, when the Cubs finally won the World Series after
like that was a long time.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
It has a long time, like you Yeah, okay, Well,
in the Red twenty six years old. It can't even
be a long time because he's twenty six of eighty,
still a baby. Okay, No, it was awesome. It was great.
Speaker 7 (32:17):
I'm glad, I'm very happy. I'm I know, I'm spoiled.
I'm very lucky to be a Boston fan. But I'm
not gonna apologize about it either.
Speaker 3 (32:23):
No one's asking. I still say a long time. It's
been a long time. Five years.
Speaker 7 (32:26):
That's cool in my lifetime, as long as it's been.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
I was happy for you. I lost a lot of
money in that series.
Speaker 2 (32:30):
I didn't bet it after that, but I lost like
twenty eight hundred bucks overall because I just kept betting it.
Speaker 8 (32:36):
That's just not normally how series go. Like at some
point I thought Dallas would.
Speaker 2 (32:40):
I didn't even bet the game they won Dallas. I
was in a foreign country and so it was the
one time I couldn't bet it, so I didn't and
they freaking win.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
How'd you feel about Brown being the MVP?
Speaker 7 (32:50):
Yeah, it's I thought it was fitting. I know Tatum
the last game, Tatum was by far the best player
on the court, but Brown, overall three out of the
four games, was probably the best player overall, even Drew
Holiday had great series.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
Yeah, I think Tatum had a better Playoffs, but I
think Brown had a better series.
Speaker 7 (33:09):
Yeah, and you set up for success more as far
as like Tatum was double teamed a lot and obviously
being the best player.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
I would say, and you're the Celtics fan, you watch
it closer than I did. But I guess my answer
to that would be Brown was playing defense hard, yes,
on even at times Porzingis like not Porzingis, but uh yeah,
well he was on Luca or Gafford or Lively, like
constantly playing d on those guys until they could get
(33:36):
reset again.
Speaker 3 (33:37):
And that's he's not a four or five.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Yeah, so he was having to play big man defense
and a lot of You're right, a lot on Luca too, Yah,
And it's hard to play really great offense if you're
playing really great defense.
Speaker 7 (33:48):
And he's beating them up. You could tell Lucas. I mean,
it's the end of the playoffs, everybody's hurting a little bit.
But Luca just seemed like he was moving really slow
that last game, Game five, he was done. He's like,
get me out of here.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
What injury did he have where it made his kneebly
every game like whatever.
Speaker 8 (34:01):
It was like put a bandit on him. Bro, he
was like bleeding the same spot every single game.
Speaker 3 (34:06):
You had leg too, Yeah, the leg thing is weird.
Speaker 7 (34:08):
I'mb out of d White's tooth getting chipped.
Speaker 3 (34:11):
Yeah hard, I know. God, it felt terrible. And porzingis
he's fun. He's never been on a winner. He wasn't
on a Winter Wizards. He wasn't on a winner.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
He's fun because I feel like he likes it. When
he went out after the injury, he played the he was.
He sucked the first half. Yeah, but he actually played
pretty well like he he had a reason to exist
in the second half.
Speaker 3 (34:34):
And I like porzingis.
Speaker 7 (34:37):
And did you see that he overrid the doctors, is
what Missula said.
Speaker 3 (34:40):
Well, I didn't know that. Yeah, you can override.
Speaker 7 (34:43):
That's what I was wondering. I was like, he making
this up, but it sounds cool. Yeah, he basically told
the doctors, like I'm playing, I don't care you can override.
Speaker 3 (34:50):
I don't feel it's good. That's a good president to say.
Good for the movie.
Speaker 7 (34:53):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It could be too.
Speaker 2 (34:55):
Who knows that I actually have you a couple of gifts,
but I didn't bring I didn't bringing them today. I
got you a Celtics Championship T shirt that as soon
as they want to ordered it online, so i'd be
at the house when I got back. But it's my
house and we usually do this from my house. And
then I have you have fake Larry Brown O'Brien trophy.
Speaker 7 (35:10):
Sorry, shut up, So do they have the Celtics on
it or no? Just the trope does? Shut up?
Speaker 3 (35:17):
That's really cool.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
So it's not here and I can't give it to you,
but I can text you a picture of it, dude, Yeah, please.
And I was gonna be like, hey, I'm happy for you,
here's a picture, or here's the guests I got you.
Speaker 7 (35:30):
He sends me a middle finger instead picture.
Speaker 8 (35:33):
Yeah, Kevin, that was pretty boring though for the rest
of us, Like were you bored?
Speaker 7 (35:36):
Remember I asked you like last week or whenever. I
was like this boring for you guy, I'm I loved it, obviously.
Speaker 3 (35:42):
The world like they don't want to watch that.
Speaker 7 (35:45):
No, Like if that wasn't either my teams, I probably
wouldn't have watched Game five.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
It didn't get great ratings either, because the games were good.
Speaker 7 (35:50):
Yeah, it was really bad.
Speaker 3 (35:51):
Anyway, that's the I got you that what, so it'll
be I'll huge huge.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
I thought, I don't know, let's here at work. It's
not I know. I think it's like the actual. I
think it's a replica.
Speaker 7 (36:03):
So dude, I'm bringing to the studio.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
I think if it comes in it's like a mini one.
But regardless, I have your shirt and I have you that.
Speaker 7 (36:10):
That's awesome.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
Wasn't gonna be like I got this for you. I
was just gonna give it to you. But I don't
have it and we're talking about it.
Speaker 7 (36:15):
So thank you. Yeah, my dad and sister are going
to the parade.
Speaker 3 (36:18):
That's cool.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
Congratulation, that's that's that's It must be fun when your
team wins.
Speaker 8 (36:21):
It is tried some time, and your dad and sister
were they're they're flying to Boston to go.
Speaker 7 (36:28):
My sisters they already had this trip planned before they
knew any of this stuff, and then they happen to
be there the perfect time.
Speaker 3 (36:33):
Cool, you're gonna do it. Tit tttle, Mikey, let's do it.
Let's go.
Speaker 4 (36:40):
Name the.
Speaker 3 (36:46):
All.
Speaker 7 (36:47):
We talked about your trip to France. You miss Caitlyn
Clark at all? How much fomo did you have?
Speaker 2 (36:52):
Everything she does is on social media, and people like
to turn it into the biggest fight.
Speaker 3 (36:55):
I'm I'm kind of tired of.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
The cultural war fights. It's that's annoying. Just her and
Angel Rees hate each other. Although she never says anything
about about Angel Reaves. Angel Rees only says bad stuff
about Caitlyn Clark or like complains about the refs or
that's great.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
She they're gonna make the playoffs. They won again. They
beat the Mystic last night. Mystics are bad.
Speaker 2 (37:13):
But here's the thing that the Fever now aren't playing
a game every day. At the first they were playing
like nine games in twelve days or something.
Speaker 10 (37:22):
Cret.
Speaker 2 (37:22):
Now they actually they have no back to backs. They've
won three the last four, four of the last five something
like that. The game last night, I have nothing in
front of me, but I she had double double Aye
Thong she did, but it was like eighteen points, twelve rebounds,
something like that. But Eleiah Boston had twenty points, like
eight reps. They're starting to play and they're actually starting
(37:43):
to catch her passes now, which is not what was
happening at the beginning. Like she's dropping dimes on focal,
I mean, and so.
Speaker 3 (37:52):
No fomo.
Speaker 2 (37:54):
I like to see I like to see Kaitlin Clark win,
and I admire the amount of tact she has had.
Not just about Angel res Ael race is annoying, but
I love Angel Rees now as well, like we we love.
Speaker 3 (38:07):
We want a rivalry in sports.
Speaker 2 (38:10):
I just wish there were people that for only and
there may be, but for only a sports reason. We're
on both sides that Caitlin Clark and the Angel Rees
right now. You have people fighting out all kinds of
stuff race, politics, and that's annoying. And if you're picking
one of them to fight because of that, I don't
read those. I don't like those, But I like Bird
(38:32):
and Magic.
Speaker 10 (38:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
People love both of.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
Them and hated both of them, and it was because
of the sport. But it is weird teams. I want
those two to be that.
Speaker 8 (38:41):
It's weird though, that there are two rookies feuding though,
like you don't get that in any other sport.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
Like but they first of all, I don't think Caylain
Clark's footing. They played each other on the same rivalry,
but again, they've played each other every year they played.
Speaker 7 (38:53):
Bird and magic coming in right.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
Junior year, Angel rees Lsu beat Iowa and for the
championship Iowa. Kayla Clark beat angel Reaes in the final,
the women's final four before the lost South Carolina. That
was the whole John Cena the Ring thing. So there
is it's not just a rookie thing. It's those two humans.
But cantlet Tark has never been a part of the
giving it back to her. I can't believe that because
(39:17):
I would be. I was get pissed and Angeli says
some dumb stuff too.
Speaker 3 (39:22):
But I like it. I like angel Reas.
Speaker 2 (39:24):
I like Angelice because I don't like angel Reaess. And
it's not because of any reason. The Internet is trying
to make me.
Speaker 3 (39:28):
Not like her.
Speaker 7 (39:29):
But she's the one that swattered her over the head.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
Yeah, right in there.
Speaker 2 (39:33):
And you know what everybody's like, it's a basketball move
and she ended up getting like a flagrant one after
the fact.
Speaker 3 (39:38):
But here's the thing. It was a basketball move. However,
they have a history.
Speaker 2 (39:41):
Yeah, And the thing about a basketball move is it's
a basketball move even if you knock somebody out. But
if you have a history and that basketball move is
like that.
Speaker 3 (39:48):
That's not really a basketball move.
Speaker 7 (39:50):
It's like Draymond kicking somebody in the nuts and you're like, well.
Speaker 3 (39:53):
Well and his Draymond have any past history with this person,
So no fomo.
Speaker 2 (39:59):
But I've enjoyed it, and I think they take again
twelve teams out of like I don't have any teams.
Speaker 3 (40:04):
They haven't WBA. It feels like they're sixteen or something
long now. I think it's like twelve sixteen to the playoffs.
Everyone gets a team except for before. I don't know. Hey,
I don't know the Chicago is going to get in.
It's okay, guys, you guys, come on, let's let's do
a playoffs. But yeah, more than half. But baseball is
stupid now too, where they have like eighteen wildcard teams.
Speaker 7 (40:23):
Yeah, I don't even know what there's a new format.
I know, but it's I can't even keep up.
Speaker 2 (40:27):
But I would say this is to make money. It's
it's a business thing. It's not so much a let's
give everybody a ribbon, although that's funny because baseball does
the same thing with the wildcard teams. But the more
teams that are playing, the more it's on TV, the
more ticket sales.
Speaker 3 (40:39):
Yeah, it's a money thing.
Speaker 7 (40:40):
Yeah, the NBA had it's.
Speaker 3 (40:41):
Like sixteen, right, huh. NBA gets sixteen in the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (40:44):
And not only that, it used to be you know,
best of five and they got it. Now it's all
seven seven seven seven seven, So they make money.
Speaker 3 (40:50):
The NBA, it's eight and their twelve teams total. Okay,
so eight of the twelve go, two thirds of the
teams go. You can't say, at least we made the playoffs.
You're like everybody, I'm telling you, I fever are looking
pretty good.
Speaker 7 (41:02):
I would love it if they made it in angel Reeston.
It would be funny.
Speaker 3 (41:06):
I would love it if they had to play each other.
Speaker 2 (41:08):
Oh yeah, actually, you're right, because I want the rivalry
more than I don't like angel Rees. I want them
to play each other. So I cannot like Angelis for
basketball reasons. Or maybe I flip and I'm all angel
Rees and anti Caitlin, but I can't see that happening.
Speaker 3 (41:21):
At this point.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
Next Jersey, everybody jumped on Caitlin Clark so early for
really no reason. They were like, oh, she's not as
good as she It's like, bro, what's happening here? They're like,
why is she getting all the attention. She just set
the scoring record in all of college basketball. Like, what
has she done? Okay, here's the data. She could took
a team that's not been to wear college basketball or
(41:42):
the championship game.
Speaker 7 (41:43):
What twice Final four in championship Yeah, and then.
Speaker 3 (41:48):
Was the all time point in regardless, No, foemo, I'm
happy for next up.
Speaker 7 (41:52):
All right, after the great Willie Mays passed away this week,
where does his catch rank all time in most memorable
baseball catches?
Speaker 2 (41:58):
I mean, obviously we've only seen clips, and it's one
of the more shown clips where he's running backward, makes
you over the shoulder catch, That's that's that catch. If
I think of just catches that I've seen a hundred times,
that's a good one. The jeter into the phone over them,
falling over into the stands, making that play at third
over the third right the third base wall type.
Speaker 3 (42:21):
Yeah, into the stands, Yeah, dumps over. That's one. What
about Bo Jackson walking the wall?
Speaker 8 (42:28):
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Caught it and then
walks on the wall like Spider Man.
Speaker 3 (42:31):
Pretty sort of you. He also goes on the top
of the wall. Yeah, step, but not like Spider Man. Well,
I bet we tried that we'd fall hard. Yeah that's good.
Speaker 7 (42:41):
But he's also bo Jackson.
Speaker 2 (42:43):
But no, that's a good one. I'm I guess I'm
embarrassading think of that one at all. But to say
he walked on the wall, he kind of used his
moment on to do a few steps going off.
Speaker 3 (42:50):
But yes, that was that was a.
Speaker 7 (42:51):
Really good legit.
Speaker 3 (42:51):
That's a really good man. I'm just kind of mad
I didn't think of that one.
Speaker 7 (42:55):
Our boy Jim Edmonds.
Speaker 2 (42:57):
Yeah, I mean I can think of like two or three,
but the one he made the World Series or the NLCS.
Maybe it's a World Series like Game six, he has
like one famous catch.
Speaker 3 (43:06):
I guess I can't he does. I don't know. It's
kind of hard though, Like if you watch Bass.
Speaker 2 (43:13):
Has like number one, that a Jeter, Because I'm trying
to think about in my head, like what comes to
mind the way, it's gotta be that ur Jeters edms
ones no no no, and probably the willing made because
it stood the test of time and it's a World series.
And I would see people that I admired when I
was a kid in baseball admiring him, saying he was
the best ever. So obviously I don't know if he's
the best ever ever watched him, right, But if people
that I think and I hold it high regard, think that,
(43:35):
then there's obviously something to it.
Speaker 7 (43:38):
Next up, all right, falling subpar performance in the finals,
do you think Kyrie's legacy takes a hit?
Speaker 3 (43:42):
He played terrible, He's way older than the rest of
the team legacy.
Speaker 1 (43:48):
No.
Speaker 2 (43:48):
I think it actually helped him a little bit that
he was kind of normal and like was known because
he played well for through the series and through the
last quarter of the season, because Dallas didn't really come
on until the last quarter of the season. I think
this year actually helped him because it wasn't all about
the things he's saying off the court, it was him
actually playing well. He had a bad, bad finals, but
(44:09):
I know didn't play well in the finals. But I
don't think that it hurts his legacy. I think he'll
still be seen as one of the more gifted ball
handlers ever. Definitely could win a championship. That'd be cool
for him. I definitely think that he doesn't like playing
in Boston anymore. Shouldn't have step on the Leprechawn and.
Speaker 3 (44:24):
They're like well, he won one. No, he won a Dallas.
He still hasn't won it in Boston.
Speaker 7 (44:28):
That's for sure. A thing, right, Like they are in
his head. And here's the thing, is a Celtics fan.
Speaker 3 (44:33):
No no, no, no no no.
Speaker 7 (44:34):
This is a good thing. We got to be done
with it though, you know what I'm saying, Like we
won the championship, smoked him in the last game on
our home court, Like there's no need to do the
whole Kyrie sucks every time they play, every time he comes.
It's kind of fun though, it is fun.
Speaker 3 (44:45):
But I'm just saying it's like he wins. I think
he gets it.
Speaker 7 (44:48):
Yeah, it's like it's like stealing a guy's girl and
then inviting make him come to your wedding and like
keep going on double dates with him.
Speaker 3 (44:54):
That's personal. I'd say that's a lot more.
Speaker 7 (44:56):
Personally, all right, Next one up, so on their core
coming back next year and beyond, the Celtics more likely
to be a dynasty or one and done.
Speaker 10 (45:05):
You know, uh.
Speaker 2 (45:07):
Brown Brown Brown signed them the super Max and Tatum's
gonna sign super Max.
Speaker 3 (45:11):
So those two are together. I feel like they get along,
don't you. Oh yeah, I feel like I know Tatum.
Speaker 2 (45:15):
It looked like Tatum was annoyed when he didn't win
the MVP, not that Brown, not that Brown did, but
that he didn't. And Tatum at the end of the
game seven was really trying to come on and try
to win the MVP. I felt like I feel like
he was playing. I think it's if you're gonna have
a chance to repeat and have any sort of dynasty,
the East is where you want to be because it's
the easier place to have a shot at it.
Speaker 3 (45:37):
The West are just eating each other alive over there
so many teams.
Speaker 2 (45:41):
I still feel like they're gonna grab somebody pretty decent
that's a free agent this year and add to that
mix and possibly just get better. What's Porzinga's he signed extension?
Yeah he did too, Trewe Holiday is so good. I
was watching them talk about should it be a Hall
of Famer, And initially I'm like Holiday, like he's good,
but then it's like two championships and just started going
(46:04):
through his entire career, like six time All Defensive Team.
He's like, oh, yeah, if you just took it, if
you just covered the picture up and said here's the stats,
you're like absolute Hall of Famer. Yeah, but Drew Halliday's
been on Like when it's with the Bucks, that's just
such a small market team. If you weren't Yiannis and
really even Meddlesome Milton a little bit, but you just
didn't get hurt of And he's quiet and he's been
(46:26):
able to like play different roles with teams. When he
came to Boston, he had games where he'd score. Occasionally
he put up twenty plus points, but mostly he's there
to shut your a down and he did and we
saw that a bunch.
Speaker 3 (46:39):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (46:41):
I'm glad they're in the East for your sake. I
think they have a good chance next season to get
back to the finals or the Eastern Conference finals.
Speaker 3 (46:51):
But it's tough, and so I'm gonna go to know
because I don't I lost too much money.
Speaker 8 (46:56):
Kevin, Do you think Horford was kind of like a
like a lot handicap for them. We're just like, oh,
we're going to keep a mom. But he's he's old
and well.
Speaker 2 (47:04):
I think he played, especially when Porzingis went down. Yeah,
I think he had a major role.
Speaker 7 (47:09):
Because you saw when he went out and we brought
in some of the other backups Tillman. It was just
like the maps are like thank you.
Speaker 2 (47:14):
And Horford actually had games where he was h one
of the top two factors, even shooting threes, like even
even providing space for so but yeah, I mean it
was fun to say Horford win. He's been playing since
that bo Jackson catch he.
Speaker 7 (47:28):
Did, or the owner said he's coming back. I hope
he retires. I'm like, just because you want it. It's like,
all right, dude, he finally got it. Now you're thirty eight.
It's okay.
Speaker 3 (47:36):
You know that's good. That's it. Go ahead. Stupid his
name ever.
Speaker 2 (47:48):
My wife replied to the DeAndre Hopkins. She said, I
felt awkward, and then she replied a few minutes later,
someone just drove off on the.
Speaker 3 (47:58):
Hyundai Andrew Hopkins the property. He found it.
Speaker 2 (48:03):
They were coming to pick the hun day up because
I have to shoot some content and up tomorrow with
an artist Eddie and I are shooting some content with
artists or that probably coming to clean it, but somebody
should said something for sure.
Speaker 3 (48:14):
I just took the call. All right, thanks y, this
is DeAndre Mike. You want to take a break, but
you want to take a break, Okay, we'll take a break.
We'll come right back.
Speaker 2 (48:25):
All right, let's get over now to fantasy football expert
for a Sidiki. I feel like he's the best upper
Hand Fantasy. He's been on with us every season of
this show for us created upper Hand Fantasy a few
years ago, and we're just kind of doing his thing.
But now he's got thousands, thousands of followers, subscribers, hundreds
of thousands on Instagram. If you're someone who loves fantasy football,
(48:45):
I would encourage you to.
Speaker 3 (48:46):
Follow, unless you're in my league. I don't want you
get in the same info I got. I'm in your league. Yeah,
but you're not good at social media. Hey, we all
got the same guys were trying to get the same
Check them out at upper Hand Fantasy and here he is,
Farra Sidiki. Dude, how you been. I'm excited because this
is the time of year I enjoy the most. So
I hope you've been good.
Speaker 10 (49:07):
I've been great, Bobby. What about the two you're doing well?
Speaker 3 (49:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (49:10):
And I watch a lot of your stuff where it's
even like the draft, and here's how that's gonna affect so, like,
you keep at it year round. But I just want
to go first. I want to go to quarterbacks first.
Who's QB one? Overall, I'm not gonna hold you to
it right now. Obviously a lot of things can happen.
But in your mind, as we get into the early
part of the draft, who's QB one?
Speaker 10 (49:31):
You know it? You know it's it's it's a toss up.
Speaker 1 (49:33):
Man.
Speaker 10 (49:34):
I keep going back from forth between Jalen Hurts and
Josh Allen, but I keep going to the last year,
and I keep going to the fact that, man, he
doesn't have that wide receiver one anymore. He's going to
have to depend on these other guys, kind of like
a committee approach at the receiver position with Dalta Kincaid
and these guys and the rookie Keon Coleman and all that.
So Jalen Hurts has you know, he's learning a new system,
(49:57):
right he has a new OC coming in, which is
I think a good thing for them. And he has
his weapons, and he has the rushing ability, and I
think that tush push. You know a lot of people
talking about Jason Kelcey leaving, I think that's still going
to be there. I think he's still going to get
that rushing production. Those rushing touchdowns. So I think I'm
going Jalen Hurts right.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
Now, Saquon being added to the backfield. Does that help
Jalen Hurts his value at all?
Speaker 10 (50:18):
You know, it helps in the sense that their offense
is going to be better. Right he had, He just
has another weapon out of the backfield. A lot of
people look at it, look at Saquon coming in, saying, well,
he might lose Jalen Hurts, might lose some rushing touchdowns,
you know, some production around the goal line to Saquon.
And while that might be the case, I think the
net it's going to be a net positive just this
offense getting better. Sequon is a very good backfield receiver,
(50:41):
So I do think this is this offense is going
to be better, and I don't think the tush push
is going anywhere. I think when they get down to
the one yard line, and Jason Kelsey said of himself
to Saquon, said, hey, listen, if you're going to score,
make sure you don't go down at the one because otherwise,
but we're going to be using Jailen.
Speaker 2 (50:55):
What about somebody who had a really good few weeks
and got hurt talking about Anthony Richardson, where it was like,
holy crap, everybody's if you didn't pick him, you're if
you had him as your backup, you're playing him and
then he was gone. How do you feel about him Fantasy?
Why is going into this year?
Speaker 10 (51:09):
The upside is absolutely tremendous And obviously, you know, we
have our trepidations. We're a little nervous because you know
of that injury risk. In college, you know, he would
get injured every now and and now and again, and
then in the pros, you know, I think he got
hurt in in three of his four games. He couldn't
finish the game. So it's definitely a concern. However, the
way that I play personally, I don't play the game
(51:32):
and think that these guys are going to get hurt.
Obviously there are concerns, There are risks with Anthony Richardson,
but the upside is absolutely tremendous. He led all quarterbacks
last year in Fantasy points per dropback, and that's usually
a good indicator of a quarterback doing well, assuming they
stay healthy. Patrick Mahomes has been on that list before
he became the overall QB. One say thing with Josh Allen,
(51:52):
santhing with Jalen Hurts and that is the number two
predictor besides, you know, previous fantasy points per game to
future fantasy points. So I'm all in on Anthony Rerigilson
and I'm hoping he can stay healthy.
Speaker 2 (52:04):
Back in the day when Adrian Peterson got hurt and
he bounced back quicker and they're like he's super human. Look,
and then everybody was compared to Adrian Peterson in his
injury time. And so now with the rookie quarterback c J.
Stroud had a really good year and even a good
fantasy season. Uh, do we feel now that someone like
a Jayda Daniels or a Caleb in Chicago could actually
be a viable fantasy quarterback after watching somebody be pretty
(52:26):
good last year?
Speaker 10 (52:28):
Well, you look at those situations too, man. Caleb Williams
is coming into like one of the best situations I've
ever seen a rookie quarterback come into, right. I like
the the Shane Waldron edition at OC. I like him
as a play caller. A lot of Seahawks fans might agree,
might disagree, but I like what he brings because he
brings a little bit of versatility on early downs. He's
he's not afraid to pass it on early downs, which
(52:49):
is what I like. But look at his weapons. DJ Moore,
Keenan Allen, Romo Doonzay. He has a couple of really
good tight ends too, Cole Commet, you know, And this
is a situation for him where I think they're gonna
rely on him a little bit. You know, they have
DeAndre Swift out of the backfield, who's primarily a receiver
more than a rusher. So he has a lot of
(53:10):
weapons here, and I think, you know, he is being
put in a position where he's probably gonna do a
lot better in year one than he would if if
he was in another situation. And when he comes to
Jane Daniels, like, if I had to choose one to
absolutely go berserk for fantasy in year one, it might
actually be Jane Daniels, just because of the fact that
his rushing upside is absolutely tremendous. You know, there were
(53:32):
times in college where you know, he would look at
his first read and if it's not there, he might
tuck it in run. Now he is good, and he
has to develop his you know, his you know, go
from read to read and and and doing all that.
But I think in year one we might see a
situation where he does tuck it in run and we
know what rushing means to that position. Josh Allen, Jalalen, Hurts,
(53:52):
Anthony Richardson, all these guys at the top of rankings
this year. I think Jane Daniels can do something like
that in year one.
Speaker 8 (53:59):
Hey, one of my favorite things to do is draft
one of those rookies and everyone just be like, dude,
what is this guy doing? And then he just pops
off like to you don't include Kayla Williams or any quarterbacks,
but anyone else that you is on your radar to
be like, ooh, this guy.
Speaker 3 (54:13):
Pick him up.
Speaker 10 (54:15):
That there's two guys, one wide receiver and one running back.
The receiver, I'm gonna go with his Ladd mcconkeye. You
know on the Chargers, right, you know Keenan Allen left,
Michael Williams left. There's nobody on that offense in terms
of you know who is you know that team going
to depend on in the passing game. Now, they did
bring in two coaches, head coach and offensive coinator. Who
(54:38):
you know they live and die by the wrong game, right,
There's no doubt about it. But he's somebody who can
come in down. They do have Josh Palmer right there
as well, but I don't think he's a type of
player that you can say that, Okay, he is a
true separator on the outside, out of the slot, recognizing zone,
you know, versatile type of pass catcher. I think Lad
McConkie is that type of player you know out of Georgia.
(54:58):
And listen, Herbert is going to be his quarterback. Okay,
so even in a run heavy offense, I think he's
going to be the guy that he relies on. I
really really liked him as a prospect. I saw him
first hand at the Senior Bowl. I think he can
do a lot of things, and so I think at
wide receiver, I think he's somebody who can have a
huge impact in year one because I think he could
potentially gobble up twenty five percent target share potentially. And
(55:20):
then at the running back position, I actually like Jonathan Brooks.
You know, I know he's coming off the ACL injury,
but it was a clean ACL. Right. This is not
a Javonte Williams type of situation. This is more of
a Breefe Hall type of situation, right, Young athletic running
back coming from you know, coming back from an injury
like that. I think Dave Canalis is going to run
the ball a ton obviously to have, you know, a
(55:43):
quarterback that they're trying to develop, and I think they're
going to depend on the run, depend on Jonathan Brooks.
He was my RB one in this draft class. I'm
a big fan of his. I think over the last
ten years or so, he actually stacks up really really
well among all the prospects that have come out. So
I'm a big fan of Jonathan Brooks and I think
that he's being slept on a little bit because he's
being drafted outside the top twenty four running backs right now.
Speaker 3 (56:04):
Why he's so happy about that?
Speaker 8 (56:05):
I just I just met Jonathan Brooks the other week. Yeah,
like three weeks ago. I met him, dude, and you
know what, and I told him, I'm a big Cowboys fan.
I said, dude, we wanted you to go to the
Cowboys and he said, yeah, I would have gone to
the Cowboys drafted.
Speaker 3 (56:17):
I know, that's funny.
Speaker 10 (56:19):
Fun That's where I thought he was gonna go because
you know his hit the Cowboys team doctor is the
one who did his surgery. So I thought that link
was there. I thought, you know, that was going to happen.
It was destined stay in Texas. But I guess not.
Speaker 2 (56:31):
Let's talk about the Cowboys for a second. Then they
did not draft running back. They drafted wide receiver. Like
they waited a while and they, you know, the familiar
face in the backfield, Like, what's happening was Zeke?
Speaker 3 (56:42):
How do we feel about Zeke in that backfield?
Speaker 10 (56:44):
Oh man, this just seems like a full avoid for me.
I think the Cowboys just don't care who's in that backfield,
right they had to Toy Pole is a good running back,
and you know, towards the second half of the year
he was the efficiency and stuff. It showed that he
was solid. It was good, more than solid, I would say,
But they just don't need a back. Their offense is
just past the ball, you know, put the ball in
Dag's hands, Ceedee Lamb do his thing. I'm surprised they
(57:06):
didn't go out to get a legit pass catcher opposite
Ceedee Lamb. I guess they're happy with who they having.
Brandon Cooks and you know, I think Jake Ferguson because
of that, because of the fact that they didn't really
address that real wide receiver to a position. I think
Jake Ferguson is somebody that we should be keeping an
eye on in fantasy drafts. Later on. He's being taken
off the border on the Titan nine ish, so he's
(57:27):
somebody to take a look at. But yeah, man, this
backfield personally, Zeke's listen. I hate to say all the
Cowboys fans he's washed. Okay, it is what it is,
Rico Dawdle, He's also no special talent. I don't think
the Cowboys are going to be relying on this running
game at all. If we couldn't get anything out of
Tony Pollard last year when he was pretty much the
bell cow, the workhorse, I don't see any standalone value
(57:49):
in this Cowboys backfield right now.
Speaker 4 (57:51):
Where do you put Ceedee Lamb? As far as wide receivers,
He's number one, man, I love for us. He has
to be over Tyreek, has to be number one over Tyreek.
You still you think he produces more than Yeah?
Speaker 10 (58:07):
Yeah, and I think, and I will say Tyreek is
definitely a close second. There's no doubt about it, you know,
and and would be surprised if Tyreek was wide receiver
one overall, of course not. You know, he was the
most efficient wide receiver of any wide receiver last year.
But Ceedee Lamb, you know he's that target share is
going to be his. They added nobody. They're extremely past
first offense, so I gotta go there. You never know,
(58:27):
Jane Wadald could take a step forward, right And there's
other you know running backs there too that that in
Miami that couldn't get very involved, even more involved this year.
So Ceede Lamb is basically their entire offense.
Speaker 3 (58:40):
With tight ends, there were like six or seven last year.
Speaker 2 (58:44):
Then you're just kind of looking for matchups, trying to
find who, let's say, six, seventh, eighth tight end that
can actually produce. Who's the very who's the last tight
end that you can expect production from consistently in fantasy?
Maybe it's a rookie, maybe it's somebody finally getting a shot.
And then is Kelsey your number one tight end this year?
Who do you got a one?
Speaker 10 (59:02):
No, he's not. Actually, you know it might surprise you
a little bit, Bobby, but I have I have him
down at number three. I had Trey McBride and Sam
Laporta over Travis Kelsey.
Speaker 7 (59:15):
This year, you Expectsona to do what.
Speaker 10 (59:19):
Well, you know, it's funny. I remember having this conversation
with you last year too, you know about Arizona, and
this year, you know Caler Murray's going to be there.
Marvin Harrison, you know Caler Murray. Last year he was
coming off the ACL. He didn't have a clean off season, right,
He was basically just rehabbing and didn't get a full offseason.
Now we're getting too a situation. We've seen Kyler Murray,
you know, and DeAndre Hopkins for example, really reach some
(59:41):
really high fantasy numbers. Same thing he did with you know,
Zach Ertz as well. Here's the thing with Trey McBride,
he had an amazing connection with Kyler Murray. Last year
he led He was one of the most efficient tight ends,
if not the most efficient. Once he started getting opportunity
over the last seven or eight weeks of the season,
I think it's going to be mar Harrison and Trey
McBride being the just dominating target share. I can see
(01:00:05):
them combining for a fifty percent target share, a very
you know, high, highly distributed target share over there in Arizona,
and I think Jay McBride is going to continue what
he was doing last year where he was a number one,
well really the number two scoring tight end over the
last eight weeks. David Najok who with the Joe Flacco
spectacle last year, he was number one, But I think
(01:00:27):
Trey mc bride's going to be really good. And Sam Laporta,
you know, he was, he was the number one tight
end as well, so h you know, for over the
course of the season. So I think those two guys
with Travis Kelsey getting getting a little older, but also
a lot more target competition in Kansas City this year,
so I could see Patrick Mahomes spreading it out just
a little bit more.
Speaker 2 (01:00:46):
Okay, then let's just walk down tight end lane here.
Mark Andrews, who missed a lot of last year heard
obviously was still a force.
Speaker 10 (01:00:53):
Dalton King Okay, I think, yeah, Dalton Kin kid exactly,
he rounds out the top five.
Speaker 3 (01:00:58):
There because they have nobody to throw too exactly exactly.
Speaker 10 (01:01:02):
And that's what I was getting at earlier, where I
do think, you know, so if you look at the
Bills wide receivers right now, right, they obviously got rid
of Stefan Diggs. He's no longer there, so they brought
in They have Khalil shik Here out of the slot.
They just drafted Keon Coleman, and they also drafted somebody
who I think a lot of people are sleeping on
in Curtis Samuel, who had his best season as a
(01:01:24):
wide receiver and was very fantasy relevant with their OC
Joe Brady and Joe Brady brought him in. And this
was that season when Teddy Bridgewater in Carolina, when they
had DJ Moore, Robbie Anderson, and Curtis Samuel. Curtis Samuel
was on par with all those guys and he actually
finishes the top thirties. All three of those guys finished
as top thirty six wide receivers. With Teddy Bridgewater at quarterback,
(01:01:46):
imagine what Josh Allen could do. But I do think
that Dalton Kincaid is going to be the leader of
that group. He's somebody who didn't get enough playing time
last year, but I think that's going to change tremendously
this year, and I think he's gonna be Josh Allen's
number one weapon as long as he stays healthy.
Speaker 8 (01:02:02):
We played in the league where they took out you know,
no defense. No defense is no kickers, Like, where do
you stand with that?
Speaker 3 (01:02:09):
I loved it. I thought it was great because you know,
you know how, I absolutely love that.
Speaker 10 (01:02:13):
Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? That is
literally all I play. I will not join a league
with a kicker or a defense, especially kicker. I'll just
tell you right now. I just find it so much
more fun. Add another flex, add a second quarterback at
a super flex, add a third wide receiver. That's what
I'd rather do. I don't want to you know. See,
I think the people who disagree with me say like
(01:02:34):
they want a little bit of randomness. They want the
random kicker to have nineteen points and beat their guy
because it just you know, ticks them off even more.
Or the random defense ends up scoring a touchdown on
defense and then a special team touchdown. All that. I'm
not here for that, all right. I'm an analytics guy.
I want it to be as predictable as possible.
Speaker 3 (01:02:52):
Uh.
Speaker 10 (01:02:52):
Maybe I'm taking the fun out of it, but I'm
with you. Man, no kickers, no defenses.
Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
Let's uh, let's do five picks, four or five If
you get these positions, I just wonder where you fall.
Speaker 3 (01:03:02):
Number one, pick you get it. Who you take.
Speaker 10 (01:03:05):
I'm taking Christian McCaffrey. Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:03:07):
Number two, ceedee lamb wow. At two, are you a cowboy?
Speaker 10 (01:03:12):
Number yes? Not at all, not at all.
Speaker 3 (01:03:15):
Listen.
Speaker 10 (01:03:15):
I am a I'm a I'm a I'm a desperate
and dying Jets fan. Okay, I am so desperate for anything.
Just give me a winning season. Give me just let's
just make it to the playoffs. That's all I need.
Ok Three, This this one might surprise you. I should know.
I'm going Tyreek Hill. That's not gonna surprise you.
Speaker 3 (01:03:33):
Aaron Rodgers. I thought he was going like Dalton Kincaid.
Speaker 10 (01:03:38):
Okay, you will be surprised where I have. You know,
the next few you.
Speaker 3 (01:03:41):
Guys Jake Ferguson and they we're like, no, you love
the Cowboys, bro, all right. Number four, we'll go Breeze Hall.
You know he was so good until his injury, Like
he was so good.
Speaker 2 (01:03:53):
I know you're a big Jets fan, but I will
say in your defense that before that injury, like he
had you know, in a limited space five six, he
was like running back one, two or three as he
was performing with the Jet, so I feel that you
don't worry about the injury at all.
Speaker 3 (01:04:10):
He feel like it enough time.
Speaker 10 (01:04:12):
Here's the thing. He was coming off the injury last
year and he was still really really good, like yards
after contact, misstackles, force, he was like top five in
each of those categories. The year after an ACL injury.
Imagine what he's gonna and it was a dysfunctional offense. Okay,
by the way, I'm taking my Jets my Jets fan
cap off right now while while I'm talking about this. Okay,
(01:04:33):
and this year he has Aaron Rodgers, so this offense
is gonna be different. The offensive line was also improved.
So if Bristol was able to do that last year
he finished as a top seven or eight fantasy running back,
what is he gonna do this year? I do think
that him and Bijon are like the main I would say,
you know, competition for that RB two spot behind Christian McCaffrey.
I do go back and forth between those two guys.
(01:04:55):
But given how good Bristow looked last year, and given
how good of a receiver he is as well, I
just can't see him as ob as he stays healthy
in this offense, stays functional with Aaron Rodgers. I think
he's gonna finish top two or top three.
Speaker 3 (01:05:05):
I he's your number five pick. Overall, this was tough.
Speaker 10 (01:05:10):
I think I'm going b Jeon Robinson here, b Jeon Robinson.
It's between him, A'man ros Saint Brown and Jamar Chase,
like those are like, those are the guys. But I
think Aman Raid is one of the safest, safest picks
in the first round that you can make. Bijon I
think he's gonna absolutely kill it without Arthur Smith and
Jamar Chase, you know, maybe more than the slot this year.
(01:05:32):
I can totally see that. So I'm liking all these guys.
I think there's obviously risk factors with each of them,
but those are the guys I'm going with a right.
Speaker 3 (01:05:39):
Three final questions I have drafted.
Speaker 2 (01:05:41):
I think Kyle Pitts every year and I just set
myself up at disppointment every year. However, Kirk Cousins is
a capable quarterback. He's above capable. Will Kirk Cousins change
when I draft Kyle Pitts again? Will it change how
I feel about Kyle Pitts at the end of the season.
Speaker 10 (01:05:58):
You know, I think it's not just our cousins, you know,
I think it's also you know, Zach Robinson coming in,
you know from the Rams, you know, as their play caller.
I think it's Arthur Smith leaving UH and going elsewhere.
So I think the combination of all that plus Kirk
Cousins is going to do a whole lot for col Pits,
is going to do a whole lot for Drake London. Admittedly,
(01:06:19):
Cole Pits also wasn't even healthy last year, right that
That knee was still an issue for him apparently, and
you know he talked about it after the season, So
you know, there's a lot of combination of Listen, coll
Pits is still so young. He was younger than he's
still younger than he is now, and he has one
one thousand yard season under his belt his rookie year,
and he was and he's younger now than he was
(01:06:39):
when Travis Kelsey even became a thing. So we can't
get too impatient with Cole Pits. I think, you know,
one of the reasons why so many people are down
on him is because they drafted him early and he disappointed,
just like you. But I give you credit, Bobby, You're
going back in and you're not letting recency bias take over.
Speaker 3 (01:06:55):
Take with my stick with one people Steffan Diggs in Houston,
what's up?
Speaker 10 (01:06:59):
I like it, but you know, I don't love it
for him because he's not the number one target anymore.
In my opinion, I do think it's gonna be Nico Collins,
and I think, you know, Tank Dell's going to be
very much in the mix as well. I think this
is just a really really good thing for CJ. Shroud.
That entire offense is going to be very, very good
this year.
Speaker 2 (01:07:15):
Final question, Would you rather have the one or the twelve?
If it's a twelve team Snake.
Speaker 10 (01:07:20):
Give me the twelve. I want two potentially elite players.
Speaker 3 (01:07:24):
Would you rather have the two or the eleven?
Speaker 10 (01:07:27):
That's trucke, give me the eleven. Same thing, same thing.
Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
What's the worst spot in a twelve team?
Speaker 10 (01:07:32):
The worst spot, I would say is around maybe seven
or eight.
Speaker 2 (01:07:36):
I would say if you got to pick, let's say
you our league does where they go, Okay, the first
person that picks their slot is this person.
Speaker 3 (01:07:44):
If you got to pick your slot in a twelve team,
what would you pick.
Speaker 10 (01:07:47):
I'm picking five because the reason why I'm picking five
is so that I could I don't have to wait
too long for my next pick. I don't have to
reach a whole lot, and I kind of can predict
who will be there. It's really tough to predict, and
he really hard not to reach when you're at the turn.
Speaker 3 (01:08:02):
Do you like Aaron Rodgers as a person?
Speaker 10 (01:08:07):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (01:08:08):
Do you like Aaron Rodgers as your quarterback?
Speaker 10 (01:08:11):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (01:08:13):
Okay, if I need any other questions. Sometimes Aaron Rodgers
can really annoy me. But I love him as a quarterback.
Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
But also I'm like, god, dang, ye last year was
like i'd be I'd have so much trauma from having
Aaron Rodgers as my one series quarterback where everything Yeah,
I mean, but.
Speaker 10 (01:08:29):
But but you have to remember, like our quarterback, our
quarterback history, and now we're getting Aaron Rodgers. It's like
we'll take it. We'll take it, and I'll take him.
I'll take the person too, because based on you know
who we've had at quarterback, Like, listen, man, I'll take
I'll take it all day long. We're in a one
or two year window here, Let's see what we could
do right after this hour. I don't know, Maybe I
gotta hang it.
Speaker 3 (01:08:49):
Up.
Speaker 10 (01:08:49):
Maybe I gotta hang out my my jets fandom. I
don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:08:52):
He's the best.
Speaker 2 (01:08:53):
Subscribe and get all of his analysis at upper hand

some money.
Speaker 10 (01:09:17):
And I'm saying I got you, Bobby.
Speaker 3 (01:09:19):
I appreciate you, all right, thanks to Froz. Are your
boys going to live this weekend? Yeah? Yeah, I think
we're gonna We're gonna go to live. Not my boys,
my boys, Me and keought you. I thought you were
taking your boys. I don't know if they can hang
in a whole turn. How come I didn't get invited?
Speaker 10 (01:09:36):
You?
Speaker 7 (01:09:37):
What the heck?
Speaker 3 (01:09:37):
I'll have an extra ticket if you want to come. No,
that sucks to be like I've got an extra ticket,
you can have it. No, it's like I want to
be invited. We got tickets, We're getting ticket.
Speaker 8 (01:09:45):
Don't we don't have tickets were we're banking on tickets.
Speaker 3 (01:09:49):
We don't have them yet. But when we do, though,
how did I not get invited?
Speaker 10 (01:09:53):
What do you mean?
Speaker 3 (01:09:53):
I guess I haven't gone for weeks. I'm just gonna
make that my thanks, like my feelings hurt. No, no, no, no,
we invited. I'll tell you this. This is how invited Eddy.
I'm doing this content shoot tomorrow and they're like, hey,
we have this budget to pay you, and I'm like, hey,
cut some of that out, Let's give it to Eddie,
and let's force Eddie into stuff to like make sure
And they don't even get invited it for free live
tickets to go to his thing. What did they say?
They're like, are you sure you want to? Hey, Scuba,
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
I can ask you the real one, cause Scuba was like,
why do you want Eddie? Well, he was like, I
don't understand.
Speaker 3 (01:10:17):
The what it is. I'm like, just put in the
back seat. He'll be the funny guy in the back seat.
Thanks Scuba.
Speaker 2 (01:10:21):
Hey Scuba, Yo, when I said I need I want
Eddie and the Hyundaid content, Yeah, to cut out some
of my money.
Speaker 3 (01:10:27):
And give to him. Yeah, what did you think to give?
Think about what? Well? When I said, hey, so Hyundai
to do it pays me involving Eddie. Yeah, yeah, when
I was like, hey, I want Eddie and we'll just
cut some money out for Eddie. What did you think
about Eddie being a part of it?
Speaker 11 (01:10:42):
I don't see a problem with it because it gives
it makes you more comfortable, and I feel like it
could add some comedic relief to it could So I
don't see that being an issue.
Speaker 3 (01:10:50):
Were they a little weird about it, like we're adding somebody?
Speaker 11 (01:10:52):
Well, like they don't really care about him. To be
honest with you, just be very straight. They're like it
was it's like.
Speaker 3 (01:10:56):
Who they were like whatever? They Bobby Happy.
Speaker 11 (01:10:59):
Yeah, that's really what it came down to. They don't
really care about who's going to be in it. It's
more it's more that so they said.
Speaker 3 (01:11:04):
Who, Well, my point was, and this is my point,
and this is why I'm glad that I got you here.
Speaker 2 (01:11:08):
My point was Eddie's like Kevin and I are going
to live this weekend, and I'm like, oh, i'd been
cool if I got invited and He's like, well, we
might have extra tickets whatever.
Speaker 3 (01:11:17):
And I'm like, here's the difference to me and Eddie.
Speaker 2 (01:11:19):
Hyundai's like, hey, we shoot the social content and I
have a Honday without a long relationship with Hunday. But
they're like, hey, will you shoot it pretty the last minute?
We'll pay you this money. And I'm like, not only that,
thank you for the money, but I wanted to cut
some of my money out and I want to invite
Eddie and give him money to be a part of something.
Speaker 3 (01:11:34):
And Eddie can't invite me for free lift tickets. You
didn't invite him. You did't even ask him. That's what
you know, the rules.
Speaker 11 (01:11:40):
You know he's gonna say no. You have to always
ask anyways, all the time. He's like no, but at
least you had that make the ass.
Speaker 2 (01:11:45):
I'm just the difference of me wanting to include Eddie
and stuff with money and paying It's not about money, not.
Speaker 3 (01:11:53):
About money, but it's about me give it a little
bit of myself. We don't have tickets yet, still you
guys talk. But when we do have tickets, I'll have
an extra one in your comin. I don't want the
extra one. I want one of them. If you want
a real ticket, I can get your want to go, Okay,
I just want to be invited as part of the
core group. I just invited you. If you want to
go out, I'll get your No, I'd hate you. I've
(01:12:14):
never understood that mentality, but that's how you are. It's okay,
I understand it, but like I do, if that feels
terrible to go to, I don't want to go to
watch them, right, and we know that. But it doesn't
matter what it is. If you're like, we're going to Hey,
I want to be first on I want to be
first on draft pick because you got a TEXTI Hey man,
I'm going fishing with my kids. You want to come.
That's different your kids, that's some bull crash. Hey, seriously,
(01:12:37):
you want to go though?
Speaker 10 (01:12:38):
Uh no?
Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
Why do they stab himself now with a pen? Okay,
I can get you tickets. You guys have tickets.
Speaker 3 (01:12:45):
No, we don't have tickets yet. Before you get them tickets.
If they can't get them.
Speaker 11 (01:12:49):
I get them tickets and passes and hospitality sweets and
all that stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:12:51):
Really, yes, they already invited me to come. Yeah, and
even though my feelings are hurt, you did invite me.
I'll get you guys tickets and passes that worked.
Speaker 3 (01:13:00):
This is so I's never gonna invite you anywhere. Now, No,
that's not the point of this. The point of this
is it not to invite me and to have me
find out about it. I can't whatever. What's up with
your foot, Eddie?
Speaker 8 (01:13:11):
I got an update two weeks left in the boot.
Doctor says healing great, but he said he does think
that I did rip something in there. But okay, stop,
I'm serious, And I said, but do I have to
fix it? He's like, no, it's it's just your little toe, Like,
do you really want to go in there and do
surgery a little toe?
Speaker 3 (01:13:26):
I don't believe him, though, Do you now believe him?
Speaker 1 (01:13:28):
But does he?
Speaker 7 (01:13:28):
Wait? He says he thinks you did.
Speaker 3 (01:13:30):
Yeah, I have to do an MRI.
Speaker 7 (01:13:32):
I thought he should know.
Speaker 3 (01:13:34):
He said, we can do an MRI, but do you
want that? So he doesn't know that you ripped it? Dude,
I can't move, said the word ripped to me. They've
said torn. There's a language that doctors. Yeah, hey, but
you know what. Though I was full dramatized, I did
give him the helmet. The Cardinals helmet.
Speaker 8 (01:13:51):
Yeahchmidt, sign helmet. It was amazing, dude. I walk in
there with a helmet. And it was perfect timing too,
because I like checking in. They're like, oh cool, yeah,
sign your name whatever. And I had the helmet in
my hand. I'm like, oh gosh, it's gonna be awkward.
How am I going to bring it up? And then
this dude's sitting in the waiting room. He's with his mom.
Mom's got a broken leg, and he goes, hey, are
you Eddie? And I say yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:14:13):
He goes, dude, you're ready. It's crazy. Man like wow,
And he told his mom out loud, so the whole
waiting room can hear. Yeah, he broke his foot. Of
the Saint Louis Cardinals. Well, they interviewed Paul Goldshmand. It
was awesome. And then I was like, that was that
was all like pronounced? Dude. He said all that out
loud and you paid him. And then I was like,
speaking of here's a helmet. I want you at SUTOL.
Speaker 7 (01:14:33):
That's really cool.
Speaker 8 (01:14:34):
Turns out that listener he's from Saint Louis and his mom.
Him and his mom were visiting in Nashville. She fell
broke her leg so they.
Speaker 3 (01:14:41):
Had to go to that doctor. God, that happens. So
you can get your helmet.
Speaker 7 (01:14:45):
Did you break it?
Speaker 10 (01:14:46):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:14:47):
She fell? She was older. Pretty cool though, No, not cool,
but yeah, no, no, no, the whole thing was pretty cool. Yeah. Yeah, Kevin, congrats, Eddie,
you suck you read? I think good. Buddy's good man? Okay,
Katie good, all good? When do you go back to Arkansas?
Speaker 6 (01:15:03):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:15:04):
No, that's not the end, like a date. But are
you enrolled in school?
Speaker 6 (01:15:08):
Actually?
Speaker 5 (01:15:09):
Okay, honestly, I'm not enrolled in anything right now because
no one will ever return my emails back in April
about enrolling in classes, so I give up on that.
Speaker 3 (01:15:17):
But that's not good. Well, if you were planning to
go back to school, why would they not respond to
your email? I know, isn't that kind of Okay?
Speaker 6 (01:15:23):
I know, but no they really didn't.
Speaker 3 (01:15:25):
And then, yeah, so what's up with the Conor mc
record and Chandel? They fight her now?
Speaker 1 (01:15:29):
Now?
Speaker 3 (01:15:30):
I canceled, done, done, deal, cancel canceled, not post canceled, canceled.
That must happen when I was gone canceled Yeah Friday night. Yeah. Uh,
Connor says he's injured. Yeah, I don't know what it is.
Michael Chandler, get Tadling back in here and talk about it.
I don't think you probably, I don't think you know.
But it'd be cool if I saw a post of
Michael Chandler down here Hopkins talk about it.
Speaker 7 (01:15:50):
Yeah, probably m M it's your pod.
Speaker 3 (01:15:53):
That sucks, dude, that sucks for Chandler. I was looking
forward to that.
Speaker 2 (01:15:57):
That's mad' and all the no even the money, like
you're sting, you're setting up your future.
Speaker 3 (01:16:03):
