A podcast call twenty five wist stuck in fun and
they whist.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
So, yeah, it's too bad, but what did you expect.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
It's a podcast call twenty five whistles wine.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Hey, welcome to the show. Eddie comble to whistle.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Eddie's a little fried right now.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
I mean it's part of it, dude, new system, but whatever.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
You can watch all of this on YouTube, by the way,
So the whole show. If you're ever like man a world,
wish I could see what they're doing, you can see it.
You can see it. Yeah, it's here. We put this
up on YouTube at Bobby Bones channel. So at Bobby
Bones channel. If you want to watch the show on YouTube,
you can. But that's why Eddie's stresses. All the computer
equipment is brand new and we're very happy to have it.
(02:06):
But there's a learning curve that comes with it, and
things are like freezing and stopping and dying and I
don't know what's happening.
Speaker 5 (02:11):
And I'm not I don't know how this works. Like
I know how to operate it, but I don't know
how it works. So when it messes up, I'm like,
help someone.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
It'd be okay, though, that will be fine, it'd be okay, okay.
Well let's start number one. Do I look like a
guy that would have friends that could hook up people
on the black market?
Speaker 4 (02:29):
No? No, no, not at all.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
I wouldn't think people would think I would even have
those friends. Or maybe they think it's because I have
a high position in the company, or like a mild
amount of near fame. I don't really know. But one
of my friends was like, Hey, you have a black
market guy for prescriptions. What you're like, look at me, dude,
(02:52):
Well that was my question. I was like, I thought
it was a joke. I was like that I would be.
I'd be scared to even know somebody that could do that,
because I don't like I'm going to jail. Sure, I
don't want to go to jail.
Speaker 5 (03:02):
I don't I see where he's coming from though, because
successful people know people, and I feel like they have
access to anything that would people would assume that.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
But I if I were given access, I think I
would say no, thank you to the access because I
don't want to be associated. I would just be scared. Anyway.
A friend hit me up. I was like, do you
have a black market prescription? Guy? And I was like,
who even asked that question? That's funny, Like do people
normally have friends that have black market prescription? And what's
black market?
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Even?
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Is that just a doctor that will prescribe anything more.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
With a black market?
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah yeah. Then you say that like, do
you have a friend that's a doctor that will prescribe
me some medicine? Because all black markets a kind of
freak me out a little bit. I'll tell you who
it is off the heir.
Speaker 6 (03:43):
Or even like do you have do you know anybody
that can get these whatever?
Speaker 3 (03:46):
It is?
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Just as ask it that way.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
I think it was the black market part that really
messed me up because I don't know anything about the
black market at all. I saw DeAndre Hopkins past his
physical this morning, so he will be a chief. I
wonder what the NFL physical is really like I take physicals.
I guess every year our insurance makes us take physical
and then I if I do any kind of adventure
show it, then maybe take a physical for insurance there.
(04:08):
And so when I go and take a physical, this
is what happens. I go in, the doctor takes my blood.
Speaker 4 (04:14):
That's it, and sends it off pretty much.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
He'll they'll they'll like I blow into a tube where
you go and you blow as long as you can,
and on the screen it's like leaves on a tree
and you see how many leaves you can blow off
the tree in one breath. And that's to test like
lung function.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
So but it's like three things and they test it
all basically in the blood. So whenever the results come back.
This morning, I saw it just come across the DeAndre
Hopkins just pass his physical. He'll get to be a chief.
Is it the same test? Do they just go on
and give blood or do they make them like remember
the episode of The Cosby Show where he had to
put all those things on his chest, all those stickies,
and he would like run on the treadmill and then
(04:51):
they would make them walk backward.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
I don't I don't watch that show.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Man, Yeah, but you did?
Speaker 4 (04:57):
You did?
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Did they stretch them?
Speaker 3 (04:59):
Like?
Speaker 1 (04:59):
What's an NFL physical? Somebody google that, give me details
of an NFL physical. Everything's popping up just from the
draft or from the combine.
Speaker 4 (05:07):
Sorry, they don't care about it.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
I'm trying to find that different because that's yeah, yeah,
it's very different that that is measuring how fast, how far?
A physical is just are you healthy?
Speaker 4 (05:18):
So they're really they're concerned about, like is he have
a heart condition? You have to pass a.
Speaker 6 (05:22):
Physical because we've seen trades happen and then not go
through because they failed the physical.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
So I wonder it's like can you not run a
mile in six minutes? Like what is the physical for
the NFL? And is it different than mine? To get
my insurance renewde? Do they still do the cough for
the in high school? No, Eddie, Eddie does that to you?
Speaker 7 (05:40):
Yeah, it seems like I'm more in depth physical of
what you would take, So go ahead, Mike. It's to
make sure that they can play without risk to their body.
So they do like a cardiovascular But what do they.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
Do do they make them get on a treadmill? I'm
getting the water or anything like that.
Speaker 7 (05:55):
They're testing their bones, their internal organs, their blood work.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
X rays test the organs probably huh, probably through the blood.
But that was another option, he said, blood test their organs.
Speaker 4 (06:06):
Yeah, but you can test your blood with your blood.
But it sounds like that.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
You cant your bood with your blood.
Speaker 6 (06:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
Yeah, like the blood test.
Speaker 5 (06:12):
It's amazing how like you take a piece of blood
and it knows exactly why.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
I know that's a blood test, right, but.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
Your body tells you, your blood tells you about your bones,
tells you about everything.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
But he just said it was three different things. That's
my point. He said, a blood test, it tests your organs.
It tests your bones, Like they take that little thing
and hit your knees if it flops reflex.
Speaker 6 (06:30):
Yeah, and I know when teams report back to camp,
like they have to run a certain amount one hundred
yard dashes or whatever and if they don't pass in
like a certain time. Yeah, but that's not a physical,
that's cardiovascular.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
But that's a fitness test to prove if you've been
working during the off season to be in shape. Yeah,
I'm just gonna go with you walk in. It's like
one blood test that they clear you.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
You're done.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
Yeah, but DeAndre Hopkins passed the physical. He will be
a Chief. I just I just saw him again, told
you guys, yeah, recently we became we finally became friends.
And now he's leaving and no congratulations DM yet. No,
I'll probably get to that in a little bit though.
Speaker 6 (07:04):
I think he's pumped.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
Yeah, like you wake up and you're like, I think
only because it's the Chiefs. I think he has a
place that he likes to live now. I think Nashville's home.
He just started like a business here that I know of,
and so he probably thought this was it for him,
like and it probably will still be it for him
because this is only the rest of the season. It's
like he's signing a multi year deal. Nor do they
need him for multi years because again they'll have their
(07:27):
everybody that got injured hopefully back next year. Yeah, but yeah,
I think for six months, that's pretty awesome. Get to
go to the playoffs. He wasn't going here, but the
Titans and they trade and everybody. They don't have eleven people.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
What are they doing? What's their plan?
Speaker 1 (07:41):
They put stick to draft picks on it out in
the field. This is our outside linebacker except now it
just has round four draft pick on a dummy. It's
it's to show up and lose and have a better
spat in the draft.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
I don't think it was the plan at the beginning
of the year, but I don't think US has turned
into what they hoped he would be. So I assume
they'll grab a quarterback wherever they are, and there's a
few of them that come off the board pretty quick.
But what's their plan when eleven o'clock play the game?
Because they're not gonna get me three o'clock games. They're
for sure and getting many primetime games. They're don't get
(08:17):
flex out of anything where people watch. So oh yeah,
well that's the that's the new so far you want
to do tell title, Let's do it. Let's go time.
Speaker 6 (08:28):
The tattle, which rank matchup with a double digit spread
is most surprising to you this weekend?
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Notre Dames playing Navy, Notre Dames minus thirteen. I think
they'll I love America. I just want to say it
before I say I love America. I love I love
the Navy, I love the Air Force, I Forces, the Army,
they protect us freaking USA, everything about you. Let's go
love it. Oh say, can you see all of it?
I love it all. Notre Dame is gonna They're gonna
(09:00):
run a hole in Navy, I feel I do. The
only think about Navy that's tough and as let's do
a couple of coaches talk is that you have to
plan one week for an entirely different look that you
don't see any times the rest of the year. Meaning
you might see it spread offerings. It's a little different.
You might see a pro style, you might, but how
they run the ball and their wishbone veer like, that's
(09:24):
the only time. So you're always kind of building. You're building,
you're taking a block away, giving a block back all
season along as these teams change. But basically it's the
same ish with Navy, with Army, with these teams that
just run the ball. Yes, you have only like five
or six days. The teacher guys an entirely different defensive
system to stop it. So some of these teams get
so shocked by that. But I just think Notre Dame
(09:45):
also cannot afford to lose. That loss to Northern Illinois
was very ugly. They will not be a two loss
team that gets in. There will be two loss teams
that get into the College Football Playoff, those will be
SEC teams, possibly a Big Ten team, although there's looking
to be a lot of one loss teams that are
up there in that little spaghetti. But I think Notre
(10:06):
Dame takes it to Navy. They're a thirteen point favorite. Illinois,
which we have coach Bilaman coming up in just a second.
They're a twenty one point underdog at Oregon. That seems
that one seems weird. That's a lot of that's a
lot of points, and Oregon does score, and Oregon is
a really good but that's a lot of points. That
one's probably the most surprising. Missouri's a six sixteen point
(10:27):
underdog Alabama. I don't think Missouri's as good as I
used to think they were good. And I only used
think they were good because I was told that, even
though I didn't believe that. Right, they almost lost to
Vany They've almost lost a few times this year. Yeah,
So the most surprising is Illinois being a twenty one
point underdog to Oregon. But what that means is if
I think it's the most surprising in no way, that's
probably what's going to be the one that actually is
that big of a gap. Already put money on it.
(10:48):
Which one Illinois Illinois or plus plus twenty one?
Speaker 6 (10:51):
Yeah, plus twenty one.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
That's tough.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
That's a lot of points.
Speaker 6 (10:54):
And their defense is good. I'm not saying they're gonna win,
but twenty one's a lot.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
It's a lot of point. Yeah, all right, next question,
All right.
Speaker 6 (10:59):
NFL, here be the buck forty nine ers need to
make a trade to get a wide receiver.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
It sucks for the Bucks. They have nothing.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
They lost everyone, brutal.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Both they lost both their guys. They got nothing. They
actually I got a call. I just got a call
from Tampa. I don't know who it was, but I
got a call from Tampa area code. I'm thinking it
was for that to play wide receiver. If you think,
I think if they're struggling so much. And I didn't
answer it, but now it makes sense.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
You've been trading.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
Oh my god, I have been training. Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
Yeah, God.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
One's out for the year. Probably I uke out for
the year with the forty nine ers. McCaffrey is supposed
to come back though for the forty nine ers, so
I mean least, but is he is he coming back?
Speaker 3 (11:38):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Cooper cup is rumored to be on the block but
for a second round guy. But he's got nineteen ankle
surgeries last week alone. You know, Christian Kirk the Jaguars.
But did the Jaguars believe they're going to be good
in the future. Their owner, mister Kahan Shat Khan. So
this was the best Jaguars team they've ever had, and
they've won a couple of games. But are they you know,
(12:00):
and if you think they're going to be good again,
you don't sell.
Speaker 4 (12:04):
That means like selling out right.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
No, that means are you selling to rebuild baseball teams?
Do it a lot? Right, Like if you're not going
to make the playoffs and contract you sell. You sell
everybody so you can bring have picks or guys in
the farm system. But Christian Kirk is pretty good. So
Dante Johnson with the Panthers, Bryce Hey, Brycehri is gonna
start this week. He is, Yeah, because the car because yeah,
(12:29):
and he almost an accusing cart. I don't think anybody
died or anything. I don't think it was right last that.
I was just like the dog was in the car. Though.
That sucks. They get hurt, No, But you got kids
in a family, and the dog. The dog is the
last one to.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
Get a kid's family. One thing with the dog makes
it way worse.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
Darius Layton with the Giants, I mean, Mike Williams with
the Jets is interesting because Aaron Rodgers hates him. I
hate Aaron Rodgers. I've evolved. I've evolved in a negative way.
I rooted for him so hard last year, and I
rooted for him this year. And the more I see
him in New York, Casey, I know you're here, I
(13:07):
hate him.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
It's brutal, Bobby.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
I hate him.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
I did not.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
I wasn't a hater. I actually rooted for him. I
cannot stand him now.
Speaker 8 (13:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (13:16):
I don't know how he could get on like the
show on ESPN and keep talking every week and like
just pretend everything's all good.
Speaker 8 (13:22):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
He's just so unlikable. Yeah, and then Mike will I
felt so bad for Mike Williams because again, let's just
say he ran the wrong route. Yeah, let's just say
he ran the wrong route. And this is two weeks old,
and Aaron Rodgers gets on and just throws him under
the bus like that and old not because he felt
like it was some learning lesson from Mike Williams. He
just didn't want it to be his fault. I don't
like that. I will pay trade Mike Williams to one
(13:44):
of those teams. I just want Mike Williams out of there. Heck,
we'll take him on our show right here. Yeah, we'll
take him. Mike Williams, you could come here. I feel
so bad for him. So yeah, Cooper Cup will probably
go somewhere. There's just too much smoke for that not
to happen. Everyone's talking about it. Is Cooper Cup gonna
go the same way. They continued to talk about our
boy here. They were like, he's going to the Chiefs
for two weeks and then finally. So yeah, I think
(14:08):
if the Bucks want to make a run, they need
to the forty nine ers. I think they're probably going
to be just okay, and they'd be okay not doing it.
They've got back that Mason's a great running back. Who's
got it, who's back up? They have another Juwan Jennings.
Speaker 6 (14:22):
Yeah he was hurt last week.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
He's actually pretty good dude. So, like they have better
depth than the Bucks do.
Speaker 6 (14:28):
But the Bucks have to do something isn't that crazy
and one night their season is basically flipped.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
Yeah, that sucks, all right?
Speaker 6 (14:33):
One more do the Jets need to win this week
in Foxborough at two and five?
Speaker 1 (14:37):
I think they will win in Foxborough because Patriots suck.
But yeah, if they lose again and the next like
their four games are done, they're almost done. Now, They're
so close right now. It's their schedule is favorable. They
do have a favorable schedule.
Speaker 9 (14:49):
But we have to win, Like, if we want to
win ten games, we got to win eight of the
next of our last ten games.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
That's tough.
Speaker 9 (14:54):
I mean, we'd have to go on a win streak that.
I mean, we've been watching the same team, right, So
I don't think.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
I don't think they just I don't think they will,
but I think I'm a TUA coming back as well.
Like that makes that Dolphins game that much.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
Harder to win, play them at all?
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Yet I know that's that's two there. Yeah, I think
you win this week and keep the keep keep hope alive. Yeah,
if you don't win this week, Aaron Rodgers will probably
have I dropped a couple of balls, and like I
dropped more than a couple, but my high school football
paying career. When I drop a ball, I act like
I was hurt. Afterward, I'd be like, oh, your pride
was hurt. Oh yeah, like I'd like grab my shoulder
or something if I drop. That's what Aaron Rodgers are
(15:29):
gonna do, and he'll just end up being out for
the year. If they lose a couple more games, they'll
be like, oh my my Achilles is acting up again.
Uh so, yeah, the Jets have to win. Now I'm
kind of rooting for their demise. I wasn't, but now
I'm rooting for their demise. All right, that's a tittle tattle.
The tittle tattle? Are we gonna build a parlay? The
twenty five whistles parlay? Do we hit we didn't hit
(15:51):
last week? Right?
Speaker 4 (15:51):
I miss?
Speaker 1 (15:53):
I've never bet in Arkansas again?
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Though.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
Okay, all three of us will pick a game. Kevin,
you want to go first, Yeah, go ahead, let's do.
Speaker 6 (16:01):
We just talked about them. Notre Dame minus thirteen at Navy.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
Notre Dame minus thirteen at Navy. Okay, I like that.
I don't know that I would have picked it because
I don't like picking against America.
Speaker 6 (16:13):
Just like to oh, I just against America.
Speaker 5 (16:17):
Yeah, Eddie, we just talked about it, and yes, it's
a lot of points. So why are we leaving all
those points out there? Give me Illinois plus twenty one
right now.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
I mean, I feel like that seems like such easy
money that it's a sucker back.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
Just sitting in the water waiting for me to buy it.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
I'm gonna go with Alabama minus sixteen and a half.
I like it against Missouri and Missouri lu Missouri's out
of the picture. If they look well, I find that
one of these teams lose, they're gonna be out of it.
I still think Alabama has a shot, but they've got
to win every game, including the SEC Championship now to
do it. But I'll take Alabama minus sixteen and a half.
And so those are the three. If you want to
ride with us, you can. If you want to take

coach Brett Bielima. Coach Bilima has a fight in a
(17:37):
line I ranked top twenty. He quietly wins every year.
Although he's not a quiet guy. He quietly wins every year.
They're playing Oregon, like we talked about earlier this week
in Eugene, it should be a great game. Coach Bilama
has been Big Ten Coach of the Year, has won
three Big Ten championships, and it's turned Illinois to an
actual winning program, which is super cool. I love him.
Here he is coach Brett Bielima. Hey, coach, now you
(17:59):
doing with friend a good? I want to first say
what probably everybody's been saying through those helmets were awesome, Coach, it.
Speaker 8 (18:05):
Was the great pretty good.
Speaker 1 (18:06):
It's the greatest helmet I've ever seen. And there's no
hyperbole here. I thought when they first popped up on
my feet, because I follow you, I thought they were
like decorative, commemorative you know, back in the day sports
illustration to that phone or something, the commemorative phone.
Speaker 8 (18:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
I was like, those are really cool commemorative helmets. And
then when you wore them, I was like, those are
the sickest things I've ever seen. But fine, line, you
know you're taking a risk. How long ago did you
see those helmets?
Speaker 4 (18:31):
Coach?
Speaker 1 (18:31):
And you had to Okay, I'm right.
Speaker 10 (18:33):
Yeah, we you know this whole thing truly, Bobby started
about three years ago, so obviously you knew the one
hundred years was coming. And in r D lobby to
get Michigan to come, that was one hundred years and
one day from the actual game, right nineteen twenty four,
so really cool. And then to our credit, Jake Ross,
who was my equipment manager at Arkansas, brought him here
(18:55):
and he's kind of actually my AD's kind of a
bougie guy.
Speaker 8 (18:59):
Would come.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Was the.
Speaker 10 (19:01):
Uniforms and stuff, and we found this guy in Nebraska,
a little small town he does this. He's one of
two guys in the entire country that does it. He's
actually a diehard Nebraska fan. We we went to him
and he kind of came up with the idea and
how hold did each kid each other take two hours?
Speaker 8 (19:21):
Hours?
Speaker 3 (19:21):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (19:22):
Yeah, and you know they're not cheap. But literally, one
of the officials came up to me before the game,
he goes, holy shit, coach. I went over and he
had to touch him because he thought they were leather.
You know, he literally thought they were leather. What was
really cool, which I didn't expect. You know, I saw
him and then we actually practiced in him two or
(19:42):
three times just because it was so freaking different. I
didn't want my quarterback to be freaked out about, like like, hey,
I'm throwing this different look.
Speaker 8 (19:50):
Right, And then.
Speaker 10 (19:53):
On TV they really truly looked like even more on
I thought more on TV than they did in person.
They truly looked old school. Did you see the beginning
of the I did CBS segment that was pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
It was awesome. Yeah, So I thought the whole experience
of the game, because you know, I have a personal
interest in rooting for you guys, and I like you,
and I followed the team now, and so I was
watching the game and I thought that you I wanted
to see if the uniforms really showed up on the
field because I had seen the and I was like,
let's see if they look good. And I was like,
oh my god, they're playing in leather and that's how
real they look too. But A plus, like your team
(20:27):
does you know? I like it when you know, send
my regards to the chefs, to the rest of your team, coach,
Like it really was a plus from somebody who's like
not part of the organization. A plus all the way. Okay,
A lot of stuff.
Speaker 8 (20:39):
Are you man?
Speaker 10 (20:39):
You're a married man now and holy shit, like like,
I mean, any visions of little ones dancing in.
Speaker 8 (20:46):
Your head or anything?
Speaker 1 (20:48):
Visions? Yeah, you know, we're getting there. You're okay, great question, coach,
because we will have kids eventually. My wife is a
lot younger than I am. You can you can relate. Yep,
what when you had your last kid, you were an
older dad, right, dude?
Speaker 10 (21:05):
So Bobby, I met Jen when I was thirty thirty
eight thirty nine, got married at forty two.
Speaker 8 (21:11):
She's fifteen years younger.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
Right.
Speaker 10 (21:14):
So I had this brilliant idea when we got married
and you, I mean, you're a guy that likes to
have fun and you move around and travel. I said
to her, I'm like, hey, i've never been married, you've
never been married. Let's enjoy being married for five years, right.
And so I didn't have my first kid un till
I was forty seven, right, and which I absolutely love.
But you know, you know, I'm fifty four and I
(21:36):
got a five year old. So the only thing I
would say, I probably would have waited maybe one or
two and then jumped in just because it's so rewarding
and fun.
Speaker 8 (21:45):
I wish I hadn't waited five years to do it.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
Yeah, that's where we are because I was thirty nine
when I met her. She's thirty, I guess, twelve years
younger than I am. And we were like, let's wait
five years. But now it's like, I don't want to
be seventy and like have a baby. So I don't know,
it looks like keeps you young.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
You are good.
Speaker 10 (22:03):
It's the best what it does, though, is it? It
brings you around a group of parents, right that, Like
I'm a lot older than most of the parents. Right,
it's kind of funny. But you know you're a cool
dad too.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
Right, you're the dad older than all the other dads.
But he's also a head coach, that's true. And he
got all the free gear and you have all the
free gear. Everybody thinks you're cool.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
I have a question.
Speaker 10 (22:23):
So you'll love this somebody, because you're obviously a bigger personality.
Two home games ago, were on the field I might
have been, can't. I can't remember which game it was.
You know, everybody's on the field, and I have a
dB coach, Corey Parker, who good, young coach, awesome, and
(22:44):
he's got a daughter the same age as mind. I
knew they're in the same school, but I didn't know.
So we're standing there on the field, thousands of people
around us, and my daughter sees her buddy from class
and she goes crazy. They start like shaking and they're
hugging each other because they met on a football field.
But they didn't know that our dad, their dad's worked
(23:04):
for one another, right with each other, and it was
this purest moment of just this is my friend from school.
Speaker 8 (23:12):
Dad meet my friend, and.
Speaker 10 (23:14):
I'm like, oh, cool, and her dad and I are
just laughing because it was just just rats asked who
I am or who he is, Like, it's just you know,
that's our dad, and like, let's let's introduce it to
one another.
Speaker 8 (23:26):
It was priceless.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
That's awesome.
Speaker 8 (23:27):
Price.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Uh, we're playing Oregon, coach Ia. If you found it
to be more most effective to get your guys used
to loud cheering or music, because you've done this a while,
Like what's most effective in practice.
Speaker 10 (23:39):
Still by far, just the crowd noise in the stadium,
you know, just just putting it out there. I mean today,
now what we do do here is I removed my
defensive coaches and players because I want it to be
so loud. You can't really conduct the practice for the
other side of the ball because on offense, when we
run to play, we crank it and then we'll turn
it down, you know, in between while we want to
(24:01):
correct it and then I'll crank it way back up.
So that's there and then a perspective, Bobby, like all
of us in life, we learned by our failures, right,
So this year we had a set back at Penn State.
It's our only loss of the year. We were in
a position to, you know, in my opinion, to do
very well in that game. And we had some moments
where where that environment caused us to misfire. And the
good news is that happened already. So now we've got
(24:22):
I think there's no better perspective than the past to
learn from. So it's been a really good moment for.
Speaker 8 (24:27):
Us this year.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
Is it ever so loud you cannot hear in the
in helmet communication?
Speaker 8 (24:32):
It does? You know, it does get loud.
Speaker 10 (24:34):
Now we actually not a lot of teams are using them,
but there's actually muffs that you can put on your
helmet that our quarterback. You'll see, our quarterback doesn't have
ear holes because we put a canceling device over his
ear hole. You'll see a lot of quarterbacks going like this,
that's because they don't have that device. But it really
for me, I've always wore double earmuffs. It's kind of
(24:56):
kind of like the movie Old School A cool Yeah, right,
Like I always wear double earmuffs because I just want
to hear the voices that I need to hear. But yeah,
for a quarterback, it definitely could be that way.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
When you play organ I'm just gonna give your heads
up because I love you and they have a whole play.
I can't give you any details, but you're gonna see
them a hole to sign up with my face on it.
Speaker 4 (25:17):
Coach.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
I don't know if you've seen it. I don't know
if you've seen it, but they hold it's a big board.
Speaker 10 (25:22):
I really don't look at. I don't know if you
know this, but most of those signs are complete.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
You know what.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Yeah, as am I in general? Yes, it matches exactly.
But I'm just gonna tell you when you see what
I meant.
Speaker 11 (25:34):
No, but it matches.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
You know. I was with Coach Landing earlier this year
and they have a big old sign in my head
they hold up. So don't be intimidated, is all I
want to say. Don't be intimidated because it's me and
you know that. Like I'm a dog, I'm not. I'm
not coming for you, Coach, all right, I love it.
Speaker 8 (25:48):
I love it, Coach.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
This is probably a stupid question, but and you may
not know the answer, but some stadiums now they have
the technology of when they score or in the middle
of commercial break whatever, they can flicker the lights on
and off. Sometimes it gets a really dark. Have you
experienced anything where it gets really dark and you guys
can't see anything, Like people are like, where's my home?
And because it seems like it's a really dark out there.
Speaker 10 (26:09):
Yeah, Nebraska does that. There are several stadiums now at
a certain point. Now it's obviously illegal during a moment
of play, but but yeah, it's it's kind of it's
a little different experience. And you know, Nebraska they had
a drone show, so we it was total darkness and blackness,
all right, So we've kind of been there, done that.
We won that one obviously, so so we've kind of
(26:30):
lived and experienced it on both sides.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
Coach, what's all my like in the locker room? What
kind of leaders he?
Speaker 8 (26:36):
You know what Bobby U.
Speaker 10 (26:38):
First off, you know, his dad was a team doctor
in Missippi State, so he's been around college football his
whole life growing up, been around it, seen it, lived it.
So his his awareness to the to the world and
college football is really really high. His football IQ extremely
gifted the football awareness. He's also a tremendous kid of faith,
(26:58):
so like he's very phase driven. But it's not like
these guys that you know, come across preaching and teaching everything.
Speaker 8 (27:04):
Like he's just a normal guy.
Speaker 10 (27:06):
He's very empowering, but in a in a and he's
very deliberate in his relationships. He it's not a guy
that he's out in front screaming and you own like
some quarterbacks. Like, he's a very relationship driven guy and
just really exudes confidence that that carries over to every position.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
I want to ask a really dumb question because I
just don't know the answer. Is there food at halftime
in the locker room?
Speaker 4 (27:26):
A good question?
Speaker 8 (27:27):
Oh yeah, yeah?
Speaker 1 (27:28):
Like and how much did someone eat?
Speaker 8 (27:30):
Well?
Speaker 10 (27:30):
Even even going back to my time at Arkansas. You know,
so Ben Herbert, who was my strang coach there, we
kind of developed it when I was at Wisconsin. He's
not with the Chargers out there with Harball, but we
do a lot of PB and j's to do anything
that has a high high nutritional value to give energy.
Speaker 8 (27:45):
You know, some kids just really don't want to eat
on game day.
Speaker 10 (27:48):
So what we try to do is override any issues
we might have with with high high energy protein content
in shakes and and snacks. Right, So there's there's all
so a lot of gummies like good gummies, right, gummies
that are for the.
Speaker 8 (28:04):
Purpose of nutrition and anything that can peak their performance.
Speaker 10 (28:09):
We actually have a nutritional crew that will pre make
and set up maybe probably about half our roster at
halftime where they'll slam a shake that they pre ordered.
They love, and we just want to get calories in them.
So it's a it's a very specific thing. Yeah, it's
a lot different. Back when I was in school, we
had chicken broth that was our high heightened during the
(28:31):
cold games once in a while. But yeah, the nutrition
factor into performance is at a it's and I'm sure
it's not just going to continue to get better, but
it's at a high level now that that's the way.
I'm not exactly a walking dictionary of nutrition. So like
that that's in their world.
Speaker 4 (28:45):
Coach, you fly off for your job, what kind of
flyer are you? You put headphones on, you listen to music,
you do work, you read, Like, what do you do
on a flight?
Speaker 10 (28:53):
Yeah, you know, we got a pretty long flight going
out here to Oregon. So we'll actually practice Thursday morning
and leave Thursday afternoon, So I'll watch Thursday's practice. I
actually got to I don't know if you've seen them,
but it's the they are glasses that you plug into
your computer, and then they I don't have to be
looking down. I can lay back and s I had
the video and it's I got to remote in my hand.
Speaker 8 (29:14):
I can watch that. It's just like I'm in front
of a big screen. It's it's.
Speaker 10 (29:17):
I can read emails that way, I can read articles,
I can watch film. It's it's and now I usually
got a pair of headphones on. Listen to a little
little country, little little R and B, a little little reggae.
Speaker 8 (29:28):
Kind of depends on the mood going to Oregon.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
I mean, this is you've had every three weeks or so,
it feels like the biggest.
Speaker 8 (29:34):
Game of the year.
Speaker 4 (29:34):
It's not.
Speaker 1 (29:35):
You guys have had a I would say, a very
difficult schedule. I don't know how do you I guess
the psychology of it. Before a big game or any game,
do you like your guys to be like right on
the edge, fired up or And we've had fighters that
we've talked to who will tell us they do not
like to be fired up because they're not thinking as
clearly that if they're calm, they're actually able to take
(29:56):
and navigate through their thoughts right. And there's a fine
line somewhere that's corre. Where do you stand on the
psychology of that going into a game or going into
a big game.
Speaker 10 (30:04):
Well, I think first it's culturally based by what you
do kind of throughout the year, right, Like if you
try to go to uh, you know, the gate the
day of the game and try to figure the crew out,
you're going to have a long time coming, right, So
we try to get a pulse on this.
Speaker 8 (30:17):
We build it.
Speaker 10 (30:18):
I really call it that flip flop Friday. I kind
of relax on Fridays because I want to put our
guys at ease. I'm more comfortable, they're more comfortable, you know.
We do little things like we call we'll have a
lot of mandatory dinners, but we'll call it. We'll call
it mandatory flow, which means just kind of come and
go as you want. But then the last meal, we
have our last pregame meal, which is always fours out
(30:39):
four hours out before pre before the game. So if
we're playing at two o'clock, the meal is at ten o'clock,
we're at six o'clock, it's at two o'clock, and that
is everybody comes in mandatory seeded. We'll start off with
the prayer. You know, we have a regimented away we
eat just to kind of begin to lock them in,
you know now. But then they'll go to their rooms
and I'll say, hey, go call tech, FaceTime, whoever you
(31:00):
gotta do. Let's get it out of the way. So
when you come down here two and a half hours
before kickoff, we know what we're doing right, and then
we kind of a gradual transition to being ready to go.
I think game day is totally different, Bobby, than practice.
You know, in those moments, it's about it's not what happens,
it's how you react to what happens. So if you
have kids that are on edge because they think they're
(31:22):
going to be, you know, handled in a way that's
combative on game day, you're going to have usually a
bad result. So we're kind of a kind of a
in the moment's let's let's learn from the moment, but
move on.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
Are you ever internally so emotional? But you're able to
have the thought I should not be outwardly emotional because
of how we'll make others feel. A react like a kicker?
Missus a kick?
Speaker 4 (31:43):
Are you like mother?
Speaker 1 (31:44):
But you've got to really dial it in and keep
it in.
Speaker 8 (31:48):
So true story.
Speaker 10 (31:49):
I think you evolve in time as you get older, right,
you learn more from your failures than your successes. But
I've always been a guy that really just believes the
teaching moments are all around us. It's just a matter
of what you want to teach, right, And I came
full circle. I was a young coach. I'm probably in
my second or third year. I've recruited a kid by
the name of James White, who's a running back out
(32:09):
of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauerdale, Florida. He went
on to play for the Patriots for about ten years,
won several Super Bowls. He was a true freshman, really
good player for US. And he was making a run
and he reached the ball across the end zone and
I got punched out and created a touchback scenario. And
I literally was on the headset and everybody was like,
you can't do that, and I heard I said, I
(32:31):
told everybody, hey, shut up, I'll handle this moment right.
And I went over and he was on the bench
and I just put my hand on his head and
I'd leaned down by his knee and I said, hey,
my friend, you are such a great player. You are
going to score so many touchdowns in this stadium and
in your career, and you'll play beyond here. But just know,
we're brought you here to run the ball, not reach
(32:53):
the ball.
Speaker 2 (32:54):
Right.
Speaker 10 (32:54):
There's three occasions that you can reach the ball, fourth down,
two point plays in the end of game. Right, Otherwise
there are always staying and we'll play the next down.
And it came full circle his dad. I went on
to coach at the Patriots, and his dad told me
he watched it on TV. Right, And then lo and behold,
(33:15):
his dad was killed in a car accident like a
number of two years later, right, And I think about
the profound effect of that moment, that teaching moment with
that kid, to have a dad witness it on TV,
and the life lesson that was taught is truly why you.
Speaker 8 (33:34):
Do this job.
Speaker 1 (33:35):
At what point in your career, coach, did you realize
And I say this as someone who my high school
football coach, I didn't have a dad, was a big
part of my understanding of discipline, right, Like, because I
had no male influence, I had no At what point
in your career did you realize that you were going
to be that and that was a real responsibility for
a lot of these kids.
Speaker 10 (33:54):
It's a great point. I say it all the time.
We do a little presentation when I have a kid
come in my office. So we've offered Scott to or
a visit. We talk about a timeline on this earth, right,
we all start at zero and average age goes to
seventy two. Hopefully we all go beyond that. But we
talk about during that window. You know, I usually get
a kid when he's eighteen years old, right, And if
you just do the math, that's a twenty You know,
(34:17):
twenty five percent of your seventy two year lifeline is
already done before I got you, Right, So I'm going
to get you from eighteen twenty one twenty two, And
during that four year window, it's the first time you're
out of your environment that you've known your whole life. Right,
Like whether it's a parent, an uncle, a coach, or grandpa,
I get everything right, like I have step parents, whatever
(34:38):
it is. And I always tell our kids, like, listen,
I don't want to be your dad, you already got one.
I don't want to be your uncle or your brother,
your cousin, your friend, or your high school coach. I
want to be the best college coach you could ever have, right,
And because of that, I'm going to at times sound
like a parent. I'm going to at times tell you
things you don't want to hear, right, And I would
(34:58):
tell you the more I tell you thing, especially if
you don't agree with him, it's because I love you,
not because I hate you. Too many people in this
world like try to tell them the things they want
to hear and avoid the things they need to hear.
So I think that's a really big part of coaching,
is you're going to sound like a parent a lot.
The good news is they're not right. But the part
that is real is that you can affect their life
(35:20):
for a long time, and probably in a time in
their life where they need it more than ever.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
My final question is what makes Oregon difficult?
Speaker 2 (35:26):
You know?
Speaker 10 (35:27):
So we're going to play a team that in the
last you know, two years prior to this year, and
of course they're undefeated this year. They've only lost one
game at Oregon. Right, they got a stadium, an environment
that second to none.
Speaker 8 (35:36):
You met Dan.
Speaker 10 (35:37):
Dan's an incredibly talented coach. He really plays to his
player's strengths. And his team strengths. So for us to
go in that environment and have success, we've got to
be extremely detailed. We got to be ready for the
pace of the game. You know, they're calling for a
little bit of weather on Saturday, so you know how
that's going to factor into it plays a big part.
But they're just they're probably not only very talented, they
(35:57):
play with a lot of confidence. Right, If you have
a talented player that plays with confidence, you know, we
always say volume reflects confidence. That stadium is very loud
for one reason. They're very confident in their football team.
So it kind of all plays in there together. But
for us, like I said, you know, be at Penn State,
which is another arguably one of the best venues in
college football for volume, right, Like we've already had that
(36:18):
experience and hopefully good things will come Saturday.
Speaker 1 (36:20):
One of my best friends is Brett Elder, just singer
Eddie and Brett.
Speaker 3 (36:24):
Brett came back.
Speaker 1 (36:25):
He goes say, you know, you know, coach beat them
with that guy's awesome, and so I message I was, like,
you've been hanging out with Brett is because Brett's big
Illinois guy. Brett, Brett loved you coach, he said, tell
you hello.
Speaker 8 (36:36):
I appreciate man.
Speaker 10 (36:37):
I had your man Justin Moore through here about a
month ago he did a concert, So it's good to.
Speaker 8 (36:41):
Have some of you guys through. Yeah, coach, We're always welcome.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
Man, Thank you, Thank you, coach. We love you, rooting
for you. But again, just don't be scared to see
my face. It doesn't mean it's a big play. I
can't tell you what the play is. I have integrity.
It's a big play.
Speaker 10 (36:52):
I'll put your I'll pitch your picture up on the
team meetings so they're not shocked when.
Speaker 8 (36:56):
They get over there.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
Or he just matches it when they put me out
and they're like Illinois play. That's the same one to like,
battle it out, all right, coach, Good luck.
Speaker 8 (37:02):
We love you, buddy, Bobby, Bobby, that'd be great. Take care.
Speaker 1 (37:07):
I saw this tweet from Adam Rank and I liked
it and even responded to it, and I have kind
of a rule I don't respond on Twitter to people anymore.
I really wish the NFL didn't announce trades. And right
before the Chiefs were set to take the field for
their first offensive possession, DeAndre Hopkins music hits imagine the
pop like wrestling.
Speaker 4 (37:25):
That's cool.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
Wouldn't that be awesome? Like, first of all, off, like
the big players, if you reach a certain status, you
got your own intro music. And like each team they
have five players pre game that gets intro music and
they come out like you have to make like the
team's top five and the team gets to decide. But
then you start to know their intro music, just like
in wrestling, and so you know DeAndre Hopkins intro music.
(37:46):
You would in my fantasy land and the Chiefs are
going on offense and the referee stops to play. Then
all of a sudden, the glass shatters like DeAndre Hopkins
comes walking out through the tunnel. The crowd has no idea.
I thought that was an excellent tweet.
Speaker 4 (38:01):
That's pretty good.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
That'd be awesome. Yeah, that would be awesome. Your kicker
Eddie has jury duty.
Speaker 4 (38:07):
Yes, I saw that. Brandon Aufrey he's got to go
to court man.
Speaker 1 (38:10):
So he's been he's been on jury duty this week
and at first I thought this is hilarious. If he
has to miss a game. He doesn't have a missing game,
No he does. I mean, we're not a question.
Speaker 4 (38:18):
What's he got a practice for it.
Speaker 1 (38:19):
Right, he's good, but he's been on the injury report
for non participant jury duty.
Speaker 4 (38:25):
So is that NP JD.
Speaker 3 (38:27):
I don't know how they do.
Speaker 1 (38:29):
There, but they tried to get him out of Jerry duty.
Speaker 4 (38:32):
Yeah, I know, man, it's an American privilege.
Speaker 1 (38:35):
He missing practice Thursday and Friday, but the judge is
expected to work around the football schedule for the remainder
of the case.
Speaker 4 (38:42):
I wonder what the case is. You ever been to JD? No,
I mean, knock knock on wood.
Speaker 1 (38:46):
You have been called in to go be part of
the process. No, you don't get called in. You get
a letter in the mail.
Speaker 5 (38:51):
Never gotten that letter, Never seen that I've gotten that letter?
Maybe I got Well that's problem too.
Speaker 1 (38:54):
We don't check our mail anymore, or we don't look
at mail. For the most part. All my bills come digitally. Yeah,
I pay them out of.
Speaker 3 (39:00):
Like have you?
Speaker 4 (39:01):
Yeah, what does it look like?
Speaker 2 (39:02):
Like?
Speaker 4 (39:03):
Well, who does it come from?
Speaker 1 (39:03):
You get a letter and it looks official. You think
you're you think it's a bill and it's from the government,
So you think, oh god, taxes. You think something bad.
You think something bad, and so you open it up
and it's like you have been you have to show
up at this date, and you're like, oh god dang.
It's on like a week day. It's like nine am,
and so obviously the show. I'm like, oh, I'm gonna
have to miss the show. And so the one we did,
(39:24):
I we recorded the day before and you go and
there's a room and there's like fifty chairs and there's
just people sitting all the fifty chairs and you just
sit there and eventually and I had a number and
they were like number twenty two, and a little bit
you're not wanting your number to get called because they
release people in this situation. If you didn't get called
(39:44):
by a lunch, you were released and you did your duty.
It was showing up, yeah, and it was like ten fifteen,
and I was like, well this. I was bored to death.
But I have my phone, I brought airpots.
Speaker 8 (39:54):
I was good.
Speaker 1 (39:55):
I just look at social media. And so they were like,
uh twenty two. I was like, oh god dang. So
then they walk you upstairs. They call like a whole group.
There's like fourteen of us and we're all together and
all of us hate life. And we don't hate each other,
but we can hate each other because we're bonding. We're
trauma bonding right now. None of us want to be here.
(40:15):
None of us wanted to get called. But we go
up and we get in the elevator and go up
to a floor, and then you walk into a really
nice courtroom like it was just like on TV. And
they sit us in the jury box, and they said
a few people in the front of the jury box
because there are too many people there for jury, for
the jury, because they're what they're doing is they're going
to eliminate jurors. It's like tryouts, Yeah, except you don't
(40:36):
want to make the team.
Speaker 4 (40:37):
But the team is twelve mans.
Speaker 3 (40:38):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (40:39):
I don't know what the roster was.
Speaker 4 (40:40):
Well, there's that book twelve angry Jeweler jurors.
Speaker 1 (40:46):
Sure sure, I'm not sure. In this case it may
always be twelve. There were more than needed. And then
they bring in all the people. They brought in the
lawyers for both sides. Oh, and even the defense. It
was a dude who was being accused of beating up
somebody holding my gun point was like an assault and
(41:07):
deadly weapon. And so the judge starts asking people questions
like number twenty two is there any reason you could
not feel that you're a fair juror. And I'd always
heard the stupid stuff like just yell something racist and
I was never gonna do that. I was never going
to do that.
Speaker 4 (41:22):
I want to do that.
Speaker 1 (41:23):
Yeah, it doesn't matter. So so I said, yes, there
is a reason I can. I don't feel comfortable being
on this jury. I'm very fortunate that it was an
assault with a gun charge. Oh this is true, and
he says why not? I said, I have been held
a gun point jump pistol whipped. I said, I feel
(41:44):
like there would be some some bias that exists, and
I don't feel like I could be I mean, I'll
probably be fine doing it, but I don't want to
be there.
Speaker 4 (41:53):
No, this is a good one.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
I know.
Speaker 4 (41:54):
I know because you're not lying.
Speaker 1 (41:55):
I'm not lying. I was like, I think i'm too
biased because of situations. He'sic, would you mind explaining the situation?
And I did, and he was like, you're free to go.
Speaker 7 (42:03):
It did.
Speaker 1 (42:04):
It was everything in me not to fist pump right then.
I wait until I got out the door. There was
not a lie told. I did not tell a lie.
And I think, who knows what would happened. Maybe there
was some bias in me.
Speaker 4 (42:17):
Did the rest of the jury you hear any mumbling?
I'm like, oh, you liar.
Speaker 1 (42:20):
Everybody was trying to get out of it.
Speaker 6 (42:22):
Like, did you hear any racist stuff?
Speaker 2 (42:24):
No?
Speaker 1 (42:26):
I don't even know who said that. Maybe family guy.
Speaker 6 (42:28):
No, it was a thing like growing up, really just
say some racist But I don't think.
Speaker 1 (42:31):
Anybody ever really did. Somebody should try it, Yeah, no,
I wouldn't.
Speaker 8 (42:36):
And he was right.
Speaker 7 (42:37):
It's typically twelve based on the twelve Apostles.
Speaker 1 (42:40):
Oh, that's why that's a twelve mane Joey.
Speaker 4 (42:42):
That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (42:43):
Yeah, So anyway, it'd be kind of cool to have
him as a fellow juror he gets to know him.
Speaker 4 (42:47):
Yeah, Brandon Aubrey, Hey kick this, you do paper?
Speaker 1 (42:53):
That's funny. All right, let's take a break here. The

so it was Me, Reid, Kickoff, Kevin and George Burge.
The country singer Eddie did not come.
Speaker 4 (44:28):
Couldn't make it.
Speaker 8 (44:28):
Man.
Speaker 1 (44:29):
Hee had like, I don't know families moms in town.
Speaker 6 (44:32):
Just mine. Oh dude, and I still want showed up.
Speaker 4 (44:36):
Did you take her to pickleball?
Speaker 2 (44:37):
No?
Speaker 6 (44:38):
No, she just stayed at home with the dogs.
Speaker 8 (44:39):
She's cool.
Speaker 4 (44:40):
Okay, So she comes all the way across the country
to see you and you just left her with the dogs.
Speaker 1 (44:44):
Some people see it like that, but some people see
somebody that wants to get in his pickleball's health. You
just stay alive longer.
Speaker 6 (44:49):
Yeah, healthy, exactly.
Speaker 1 (44:50):
I have a couple thoughts, and I think in our
ladder of pickleball playing there have been a couple of changes.
I think I'm barely still number one. I beat George
twice yesterday day.
Speaker 3 (45:00):
Read him pretty.
Speaker 6 (45:01):
I mean, he's not here to defend himself. But George would,
I think would agree that you George is really good.
You played really good.
Speaker 1 (45:08):
Yes, George is really good. George is a former tennis player.
Like at number one in the city tennis player, he
plays like a tennis player, like he knows what he's doing. Yeah,
so we played a double elimination singles tournament. I did
be George twice. I'm still barely holding on to number one.
George's number two. But then it gets a little murky.
I'm gonna have to say, Kevin's better than Eddie.
Speaker 4 (45:29):
Now show up.
Speaker 1 (45:33):
I do want to play you that moment. I think
he's better than you know.
Speaker 5 (45:35):
Okay, and I understand. I understand where you're coming from,
but I want to match to decide that. I know
your ranking is just based.
Speaker 1 (45:42):
On but all the top twenty five, all those football
teams haven't played each other ready, right.
Speaker 4 (45:45):
But when they do, you knock that person all the way.
Speaker 1 (45:48):
I hear you, and when you do, you can. But
I'm saying, like they're ranked, it doesn't mean they've all
played each other to get that rank. They have to
somebody just has to go. I've seen him with my eyes.
We vote on it. So my vote is Kevin is
not number three.
Speaker 3 (45:57):
Let's go.
Speaker 4 (45:58):
Do we play this season? Are we on the schedule?
Speaker 1 (46:00):
You guys can play whatever you want. I just it's
one in the morning, and I hear.
Speaker 4 (46:05):
I don't worry about us I do, I do.
Speaker 1 (46:08):
I do think he's he's good, He's getting pretty good.
Speaker 6 (46:12):
Yeah, I'm trying to figure out. I mean, not to
overthink it, but there's just ways to play. And Bobby
and George have that down like they send you all
over the court and I'm over here like they're like,
you're good. I'm like, and they're just chilling for sure.
Speaker 1 (46:26):
We're just trying to get it over the net, like
Kevin's trying to developing little game at it four. You falling,
you have that, you have the red arrow before though
that's out of five? Where's reading five? I get me
out of here, man, I don't even want to be
in that list.
Speaker 9 (46:41):
I'm in my own section.
Speaker 4 (46:43):
Yeah, reads five stupid, but his service gotten betters.
Speaker 1 (46:47):
Reid has potential to make stupid mistakes mentally. I'm gonna
tell you what Read's problem is, and I did. Reid
has no dog in him at all, like none, none.
As soon as times get tough, he just go this sucks.
I'm done, Yeah, because you're beating me yesterday he just
quit and then you got tired, and then I got
I think six in a row on you. Reid has
no dog in him, and we played doubles, and Reid
(47:10):
and I played Kevin and Georgia bat's every time. We
never we never won, Oh, because you had Read on
your team. I didn't say that, but I didn't win
all the singles matches. I had some good points, I know,
but you're playing with number one here and I didn't
say that, but I'm glad you did. And I tried
to handle Read both ways where I was like, you
can do it, man, I believe in you. I believe
in you. Didn't help and I was like, come on, dude,
(47:30):
you get didn't help. He doesn't have that dog in him.
He's a nice guy, the nice guy, not that competitive.
Speaker 6 (47:36):
The best is when Reid would be like I got it,
and then he.
Speaker 1 (47:40):
For it. He'd like, I got it, I got it,
and then not swinging to look at me.
Speaker 3 (47:43):
I panted because you're right behind me and you're like,
and I'm.
Speaker 1 (47:45):
Like, you just called it. So anyway, I just wanted
to say, I think Kevin is not number three overall
in the rankings.
Speaker 4 (47:52):
Wow, until we play Week ten.
Speaker 1 (47:55):
If Klug played enough.
Speaker 3 (47:58):
You can't.
Speaker 4 (47:58):
He's kind of man. He can't play well.
Speaker 1 (48:00):
He has football injuries. Yes, I think Klug and Kevin
would battle it out pretty good.
Speaker 6 (48:04):
That'd be fun.
Speaker 1 (48:05):
Yeah, but then Eddie, you dropped down to.
Speaker 4 (48:06):
Oh then we don't want that.
Speaker 11 (48:07):
I don't want that.
Speaker 1 (48:08):
You shouldn't keep him on the on the rankings list.
Speaker 4 (48:10):
We just need to play every month.
Speaker 1 (48:13):
We need to have a little tournament and redecide these rankings.
Speaker 6 (48:16):
No, you're good, Yeah, that's what we need to know.
Speaker 1 (48:18):
You're good, though. No, I'm no, I'm not good. You
have no dog and everyone loves you. You the nice
dog has awakened. No, it has not awakened you.
Speaker 4 (48:28):
See you're laughing again. You're smiling.
Speaker 1 (48:30):
No, like he just quits.
Speaker 6 (48:32):
Yeah, Like I said, you were beating me a ship.
I was like danger. He just actually pretty good.
Speaker 1 (48:35):
And then you were just done a little bit of adversity,
like one point to point. I just I don't even know. Well,
I guess I'll just give up.
Speaker 6 (48:43):
It took like thirty minutes to get to three points.
Speaker 1 (48:44):
Though, And that's okay, that's okay. We love you for
who you are. We look at me, we love you
for who you are. Want to be different, man, you don't,
but you don't have to be. You can be the
best at what. Having no dogging exactly. You are the
nicest guy of all of us here. You are the
absolute kindest, nicest guy you are.
Speaker 4 (49:02):
You are a sweetheart.
Speaker 1 (49:03):
You are sweetheart, a dumpling. You are a dumpling. Am
I going to defend my wife for that?
Speaker 4 (49:10):
You're not come with your heart? Yeah, with your big heart.
Speaker 1 (49:13):
You're not going to defend her. You just need to
accept that whoever wants he can have her.
Speaker 4 (49:17):
What here comes the dog?
Speaker 1 (49:21):
Well that's a good point. All right, We're gonna throw
to the Rich Eisen interview. This is us talking with
Rich Eisen. Rich Eisen from Sports Center, from the Rich
Eison Show, now from NFL Network. Here we are talking
with Rich Eisen. Okay, we're here with Rich Eisen, which
you know who. I was just talking to Ken Golden,
who is Golden Auctions. The Netflix show has every piece
(49:44):
of memorabilia, Yes, and like, I'm so intrigued.
Speaker 3 (49:47):
What do you have that's really cool memorabilia? Why?
Speaker 1 (49:50):
Well, you saw my studio, Like, what's your favorite one
piece that you won't leave in the studio because somebody
might steal it?
Speaker 10 (49:56):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (49:56):
No, everything is pretty much in my studio. But the
thing I love in my studio is because again it's
pop culture and it's movies. And I had the actor
Mark Harmon came on my show and I asked him
about the movie Stealing Home. If you ever saw that
(50:17):
movie where he plays a former baseball player and you know,
and it's about an unrequited love from high school and
things of that nature and later in life. And he
played a baseball player named Billy Wyatt, and he said
he only had two Billy Wyatt bats left and mailed
one to the studio and he autographed it. And the
(50:38):
actress from the movie is Jodie Foster. She came and
I had her son, and it's definitely one of one.
There's no other back quite like it. Probably not the
answer you were expecting from me, because I've never heard
of any of that stuff, but it's a it's a
sports movie that kind of goes under the radar, but
you know, just the general stuff that we are able
(50:59):
to create. There's a Believe sign that I got from
Apple as part of the promotion for ted Lasso, So
Jason Zadeka signed it. That's cool, and so did Coach Beard.
And then I had Sean Payton do it because you
mentioned ted Lasso and gave out biscuits to all the
reporters at his retirement press conference when he was with
(51:21):
the Saints, so I had him sign that. So those
are the things I love. I love memorabilia that you know,
you can create out of whole cloth because we're so
fortunate to do what we do for a living.
Speaker 1 (51:33):
You know, an admission. I stole some I was gonna
tell you this last time. I stole some golf balls
from your show when I was doing five Finger Disco.
Well stealing maybe wasn't the worsd I think I do
have three of those.
Speaker 3 (51:42):
First of all, i'd like to say this. I accepted.
Speaker 1 (51:45):
Rewind Rich said if you're filling in, I would like
to pay you for your days, and I said, I
will not accept the money. So we donated the money
to an animal rescue and so we were all so.
But then I felt I was owed something right still,
so sure, So I was in your studio and I
was like, you know, I accepted nothing for this, and some.
Speaker 3 (52:04):
Dogs got some lives, and Rich was paid for the
dogs to live.
Speaker 2 (52:06):
So I.
Speaker 1 (52:09):
Took a box of golf balls. There's a Rich eyes
that show. Yeah, yeah, I never quite admitted that to you.
But I felt like I that was my pay for it.
And now if you're missing them, that's where I haven't there.
Speaker 3 (52:18):
I haven't missed them, but I'm glad to have them.
My only request for you to use them is to
hit them straight. I know I've lost all them except
for once leeve I love, and losing them is not
a bad thing either. I mean, golf balls are made
to be lost, at least for me. I just can't
have you hitting it out of bounds and in somebody's house,
you know what I mean. Like, So, whenever I use
these golf balls for you know, any golf hole that
(52:43):
is bordering the out of bounds fence of the golf
course and you can hit it into somebody's yard, I
will use another golf ball because I can't be hitting
that into somebody's front yard and maybe smashing a window
and then deny responsibility to Stephen A. Smith. Balls is
what I would use, then, Yeah, that's what I would do.
Speaker 11 (53:05):
Have you ever hit anyone with a golf ball?
Speaker 3 (53:07):
I have not. I have, Actually, this is an interesting story.
I have actually eviscerated a coat that was walking across
a fair like a bird. Yes, yes, I don't know that, Yeah,
it's a bird, sort of like I Randy Johnson that
thing with my golf ball. And the wild thing is
it was on a golf course that Wayne Gretzky is
(53:29):
playing on on that day and I met him. I
saw him at the I saw him at the driving range,
had a nice chat with him, chit chat. Then he
goes out to play. I go out to play. I
eviscerate this bird. Then I see him at the NHL
All Star Game like three weeks later in Colorado and
(53:50):
he's like ten rows away from me. He waves, he goes, hey,
what'd you shoot that day? And I always have to
be honest, I said, I shot him a one fifteen
and I killed a bird on twelve. And he kind
of looked at me like I was a weirdo, because
why would I share that with him in a public space,
(54:13):
shouting it out over twelve rows of civilians. But I did,
and there we always have that. You know, it removes
the one fifteen from the focus. Yes, right, it does.
Speaker 8 (54:25):
It does.
Speaker 3 (54:26):
So that to me, it's like I forgot about the
one fifteen fifteen. Yes I heard the one. I've twelve
killed a bird? Yes, yes, So there's that I've got
that going for me. What do you do in New York?
Speaker 2 (54:39):
Like?
Speaker 3 (54:39):
Not not here today? Like what do you like? What's
to do for you in New yor what do you
like about coming to New York. Well, I'm from Staten Island,
which is the fifth and forgotten borough of this wonderful city.
So every time I come here, I feel like I've
never left. Quite honestly, when I was on Sports Center,
I had a you know, as a a bachelor, I
(54:59):
had a spot on the Upper West Side that I
would come in and hang out whenever I wasn't on.
It was in Connecticut. So I I just have so
many great memories of growing up here and running around here.
But you know, I just walked Central Park for an
hour today like an old man sitting there feeding the birds,
like you know the ones? What am I? Ones? They
(55:21):
did not? Well, they killed their grandfather. They stayed out
of my way. I think, you know, I think it's
made its way throughout the bird the avian community, Bobby,
they know a legend to stay away from me. Man.
Speaker 1 (55:32):
I you know, this morning and yesterday I don't really
fit in New York. And I and as a New Yorkers,
why I asked it about New York. Like, I was
at Starbucks this morning and I get I tipped a
guy a few bucks, and he's I think people think
I'm up to no good when I'm nice, naturally, because
I grew up in the South, and in the South
(55:53):
we are taught. It's not like I decided I wanted
to be this manor filled person. Yes, but we are
taught to have manners be kind. When I do that here,
people think I'm up to no good.
Speaker 3 (56:03):
Well, I mean, I appreciate that. It does infer that
people who are from the city are not raised the
same way they're raised.
Speaker 1 (56:13):
There's only a little bit of time to get where
you're going to do what you're doing, so there's no
extra time.
Speaker 3 (56:19):
In the South.
Speaker 1 (56:19):
That's like we got all the time. That's how our
words take so long to say. Right, So what should
I be meaner when I get here or maintained?
Speaker 3 (56:28):
Bobby, you be yourself. Mad, You're you are, You're your
own fingerprint. Brother, Phil, you be yourself. Don't let don't
let the mean streets of New York City change who
you are. You just do I'm trying to change the
mean streets. That's never gonna happen. I know, you know,
we have we found.
Speaker 11 (56:44):
The price tag.
Speaker 1 (56:45):
Oh my god, Oh yeah, sorry, there's one dollar to
sign this fans of the game, rich eyes and jets.
Speaker 3 (56:56):
Yes, let me see. What do you want?
Speaker 2 (57:00):
What do you?
Speaker 3 (57:00):
Just sign it to me though, because I'm going to
I have a collection.
Speaker 11 (57:04):
Rich Have you ever seen that card?
Speaker 3 (57:06):
Yes?
Speaker 8 (57:06):
I have.
Speaker 3 (57:07):
I'm not a big fan of the photograph, but they
don't okay to photograph with you when you get a
card down, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (57:14):
He doesn't remember if you did.
Speaker 3 (57:16):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (57:17):
I have a collection of cards signed by people who've
murdered birds unceremonious.
Speaker 3 (57:21):
Yes, so this I told that this would be the one.
Speaker 11 (57:24):
Hey, bones, it's personalized, he says to Bobby too.
Speaker 3 (57:26):
But that's what I asked for. Yeah too. But you
don't have to write like a book or anything. All right,
he's war in peace, he says, Yes, thank you. There
we go.
Speaker 1 (57:36):
But you can't talk. But you can't talk. You can't
toss it like that. Now it's a nine. It's not
even a ten anymore.
Speaker 3 (57:44):
For ninety cents. Now, I've devalued it in every way,
shape and form.
Speaker 1 (57:48):
Hey, my final real question for you is yeah, what's
will you write, like a really awesome book about your life?
Speaker 3 (57:56):
I did write a book in two thousand and seven
about launching NFL Network.
Speaker 1 (58:00):
That's not all I'm talking about, though, I'm talking about
the rich the I think you have a really great
story about.
Speaker 3 (58:08):
Being able to modify but stay true to who you are.
I appreciate you saying that, but I've still got ways
to go right. Don't you usually write that when you're done? Yes,
small flex.
Speaker 1 (58:20):
I wrote my first New York Times bestseller about my
life when I was like thirty two, and that's a
big flex.
Speaker 3 (58:26):
Sorry, not small flex. Well, I mean New York Times
best selling number one. We have to say number one
New York tis New York Times. Your number one New
York Times bestseller is a flex. The super flex is
the my first. I have year old times. I do
have two. So when I wrote my first, you know
that's the big flex.
Speaker 1 (58:47):
But what I want from you, though, is yes, after
this I feel substantial but limited time. We've got to
become friends because we have, like I your story, I
think so many people could take so many things from it,
more than just Rich Eisen who knows sports. But I
think you have a lot to offer in the I
(59:08):
have lived a life a certain way and learn these
certain things, Like I want that book, and that's what
I'm asking you to write.
Speaker 3 (59:13):
Wow, all right, write this one down, and you're gonna write.
Speaker 1 (59:16):
It for Bobby, even if it's only just to give
to me, Like I will read that's but it's said
of the golf balls.
Speaker 3 (59:23):
Yes, I will not steal it. I will pay that
full nineteen ninety nine. It's better than the book you
stole my balls.
Speaker 2 (59:29):
You know.
Speaker 3 (59:30):
That could be a good one, though it could be.
I think that'll be my second. That's a digital, that's
a digital short it is second.
Speaker 11 (59:36):
Do you have Bobby's phone number? I didn't know you
guys were such good friends.
Speaker 3 (59:39):
Well, we we did meet each other again when he
he did my show for me last year and then
we met for the first time quite literally two Sundays
ago and have now seen each other three times two
weeks since then.
Speaker 1 (59:53):
He's been over four times. We've had four s lumber parties.
Speaker 3 (59:56):
It was like it's like a rush, I know, and
you know, now you get my sugar cereals for me
that I like so much. The next morning, excellent Rich
Eisen Show listen, watch like I do on road. It's
all I watch.
Speaker 1 (01:00:09):
Thank you, sir, And I'm serious. I would love for
you to write a book about your life.
Speaker 3 (01:00:13):
I think it's a great idea. I will make a
note of it. I know your agent. I'm gonna really,
he's already taking notes. Thank you.
Speaker 8 (01:00:19):
Rich.
Speaker 11 (01:00:19):
Would you ever fill in for the Bobby Bone Show?
Speaker 3 (01:00:22):
Sure?
Speaker 4 (01:00:24):
I mean he's done your show.
Speaker 3 (01:00:25):
Right, that's true.
Speaker 4 (01:00:26):
That is true.
Speaker 3 (01:00:27):
I don't know if I can wake up as early
as that's hard. That's the hard part. But that time
you wake up, oh wait, boy, it sucks. What time
you wake up? Well, I do wake up at that
hour twenty two Sundays in the year. But an everyday thing,
I don't know, brother.
Speaker 1 (01:00:44):
You know what I admire that I go. I don't know, brother,
about you is how long you have to do on Sundays?
Speaker 3 (01:00:48):
You have? That's all. That's a long one. And then
I am mandated to watch all the football games.
Speaker 4 (01:00:53):
That's tough.
Speaker 3 (01:00:54):
If you well, I'll tell you, because you know you're
an absencey dad, and then you know there's driving and
there's stuff you got.
Speaker 11 (01:00:59):
To do, even the blowouts though good point.
Speaker 3 (01:01:03):
I mean, you don't know they're going to be blowout,
but you.
Speaker 11 (01:01:05):
Watch like the first.
Speaker 3 (01:01:07):
Yeah, I mean every because the show that I do
every day, you know, I'm I'm supposed to know everything
that's just happened. So yeah, and then I'm not complaining,
but it is it isn't there are long days.
Speaker 1 (01:01:21):
Ask him your one cowboy question. He has all the answers.
He watched every game.
Speaker 11 (01:01:24):
I mean, the big cowboy question is are they going
to do the super Bowl this year?
Speaker 1 (01:01:29):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:01:29):
My god, that's what you asked. Yeah, I mean how
am I supposed to answer? What do you think?
Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
Rich?
Speaker 11 (01:01:34):
Honest question?
Speaker 3 (01:01:35):
They have what they need, all right. I don't know
if they have the roster depth. I don't know what
all in strategy is going to pay off. I don't
know how people who are I don't know. Obviously, this
can all change in two weeks if everybody is signed
and that makes them happy and whatever, But I don't know.
I see deeper rosters just as talented as the Cowboys
(01:01:59):
across the landscape, and we'll see what happens.
Speaker 5 (01:02:01):
You think Ezekiel Elliott's going to be a good running
back again for the Cowboys.
Speaker 2 (01:02:06):
So.
Speaker 3 (01:02:07):
Yes, the question is can he carry the full load.
That might be him. Maybe. I mean, he hasn't you know,
put much you know, tread on the tires over the
last two years.
Speaker 1 (01:02:20):
He's only twenty nine, which is weird because you would
think he'd be like fifty four.
Speaker 3 (01:02:25):
I know, it feels like he's been around a long
time because of his college career. It's always worn the
little tank top. You know, by the way that he
is one of the few Dallas Cowboys who can say
that he won a title in that building. That's where
Ohio State won their national championship. Pardon me, the Ohio State.
But yes, I don't. I don't believe ultimately you will
(01:02:46):
be happy. All right, Thanks, that's the way to answer
that question.
Speaker 4 (01:02:49):
That's good.
Speaker 3 (01:02:49):
Thank you rich Eyson for your time. Welcome Bobby. I'll
be waiting for the book very patiently. Thanks Pole.
Speaker 1 (01:02:54):
Okay, real quick, we can preview Boise he stated U,
and I'll be that game is fine. That's a fine.
That's one of the bigger games. Were But they're both
not ranked. But UNOV only has one loss, so Boise
State minus three and a half at UNLV. I am
rooting for you and LV because I love the coach there.
So boys and State's really good and we had the
boys to day coach on as well. We did, But
I'm rooted for UNLV. I'm not getting about that game
(01:03:16):
too close to my heart. Nebraska, Ohio State. Ohio State
will probably stomp a hole in them. Notre Dame a Navy.
We talked about that one. Illinois, Oregon, that's a good one. Missouri, Alabama.
I expect Alabama to run them. Alabama's just been embarrassed. Yeah,
like they're embarrassed. Not that their last loss was embarrassing,
but they're embarrassed. They have two losses and the Vanderbilt
(01:03:36):
loss was bad. Even though vanderbilts my Texas this weekend. Yeah, Mike,
you going will be there. How you feel about it?
Speaker 7 (01:03:45):
I mean, I feel like they're gonna be angry towards US.
I think they could beat us because they beat Alabama.
Speaker 1 (01:03:52):
Texas is minus eighteen and a half at Vandy.
Speaker 3 (01:03:57):
A rink.
Speaker 1 (01:03:58):
Now they're ranked now, but yeah, yeah, you still feel
good about that. Would you bet that I would bet
that you bet Texas to cover? Yeah, I probably would
too most of that though, I only would though because
of the name Vanderbilt in the history of it.
Speaker 7 (01:04:10):
It's just the fact that the offense looks so bad
last week. But I know it's an entirely different team.
But it's like, what if we still suck?
Speaker 1 (01:04:17):
You know, sucks is Florida State, and they have sucked,
they've continued to suck. But it's just wild. Like for
the same reason that I expect Bandy to lose just
their name, even though they've been playing well, I expect
Florida State to win just from their name and even
though they've be playing terrible big school. But Miami is
a twenty one point favorite of Florida State. I bet
you Florida State plays I'm closer than they should.
Speaker 4 (01:04:34):
You think I think that every week they don't.
Speaker 1 (01:04:36):
It's not even by that. It's about Miami just escaping
every week, just by the hair of their chinny chin chin.
Speaker 4 (01:04:42):
You like that, I like that. That's a little pigs,
big red root wolf little.
Speaker 3 (01:04:49):
Is it all? I thought?
Speaker 1 (01:04:50):
So?
Speaker 4 (01:04:50):
Little pigs, little red right.
Speaker 6 (01:04:51):
Head and by the hair of my CHINNI yeah, blow
your house down.
Speaker 1 (01:04:55):
I'm gonna huff.
Speaker 10 (01:04:56):
No, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:04:57):
I don't know any I think you convinced me it's not.
I don't know why I went to three little pigs.
Speaker 3 (01:05:01):
What even know?
Speaker 1 (01:05:02):
The three little pigs?
Speaker 4 (01:05:03):
What do they do? They build their houses? The wolf
comes and he blows.
Speaker 1 (01:05:05):
The wolves in both stories? Different stories.
Speaker 6 (01:05:07):
Yeah, I think it's the same.
Speaker 1 (01:05:09):
Is this a crossover?
Speaker 3 (01:05:10):
Eddy?
Speaker 6 (01:05:10):
Don't you have kids?
Speaker 3 (01:05:12):
Help?
Speaker 6 (01:05:12):
Two different stories?
Speaker 7 (01:05:13):
But I'm confused now of my China Chin Chin is
the three little pigs with the houses? Okay, see, Eddie,
you screwed because the wolf comes and blows the house down.
Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
But you commits me otherwise.
Speaker 5 (01:05:21):
But doesn't little red ridinghoods say like, oh, how big
fans you have, but not China Chin Chin.
Speaker 1 (01:05:28):
That's what I said.
Speaker 4 (01:05:29):
Okay, so what did the pigs say?
Speaker 3 (01:05:31):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:05:32):
It comes down with my little chichin.
Speaker 1 (01:05:34):
This is like when full House.
Speaker 6 (01:05:35):
That's the wolf coming to blow the house down, isn't it.
Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
Anyway? I don't know, man, I bet you Miami wins By.
Speaker 5 (01:05:42):
You know what, though, I got like just yelled at
yesterday because I wore my Florida state shirt and they're
just like, you guys suck.
Speaker 4 (01:05:48):
I'm like what, I didn't even know what he's talking about.
Speaker 1 (01:05:51):
You know, if you meant Mexicans Americans, Like, who knows?
Speaker 5 (01:05:56):
Man, I didn't think it was the Races because you
didn't because I'm like kids a baseball game, So I
thought he's talking about kids baseball team.
Speaker 4 (01:06:02):
What are you talking about? No, you guys can't win
a football.
Speaker 1 (01:06:05):
Game, got it? LSU at Texas A and M. That's
a big good one. What what they changing the Chin Mexicans?
Speaker 8 (01:06:13):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 1 (01:06:14):
You take offense racially and the guy was just talking
about your team and your team. NFL this weekend Eagles
at Bengals. Bengals need to keep winning. But if they
do Bengals in this game, they're kind of back in it. Yeah,
they're kind of back.
Speaker 4 (01:06:28):
In ITFC is pretty wide open.
Speaker 1 (01:06:30):
Ravens minus eight and a half off the Browns. I
don't know, Jameis Wanzton could I'd be hilarious to the
Browns start winning now. It'd be very It'd be very
funny to me if the Browns start winning games now
that de Shaun Watson not even playing with them, Get
that guy, and they beat the Ravens, who is probably
like the best team in the NFL right now. Titans
at Lions, Oh boy, yeah, the win by what forty?
Speaker 4 (01:06:49):
What do you think?
Speaker 3 (01:06:50):
The line is?
Speaker 1 (01:06:50):
A guess?
Speaker 4 (01:06:51):
Eddie, I mean it can't.
Speaker 5 (01:06:53):
It's fifteen eleven. Gosh, that's crazy, and they're going to cover.
That's what's crazy about.
Speaker 1 (01:06:59):
That Cardinals offense is two back this week? Or is
he just back practicing this week.
Speaker 6 (01:07:02):
Practicing but not playing yet? Yeah, that's what surprising su
the line.
Speaker 4 (01:07:06):
Hey what how is this legal?
Speaker 1 (01:07:08):
He's an adult, man. I understand there are also defensive
players that have way more concussions than Tua that are classified,
but to is a quarterback and his and his high profile,
so we just know that story more.
Speaker 4 (01:07:18):
That's a good point. I don't realize all the concussions
that happen.
Speaker 1 (01:07:21):
I've had two just this show alone. Really, and here
I am walking out. I don't even have a guardian
cap on.
Speaker 5 (01:07:26):
Have you seen the dumb videos and TikTok of like
practice and he's looking at himself in the mirror.
Speaker 8 (01:07:36):
To know who it is.
Speaker 6 (01:07:38):
And like older movies, I have funny.
Speaker 1 (01:07:42):
It's not funny, but you're laughing hysterically. Jets are seven
point favorite of the Patriots, Falcons two and a half
point favorite at the Bucks. I probably load it up
on the Falcons there, man, Bucks, anything to the ball
to right again? I have to call him back. Yeah,
the Falcons, it's right, Colton Texans Texas five point favorites.
It's a Chargers, Charger seven point favorite. Bill's minus three
(01:08:04):
in Seattle. That's a long plane ride. I think about
that sometimes. It is very it does as far as
you can go. Just about how many points is that worth?
Jet Lag give them five points. It's not even London,
but it's like jet Lag Broncos ten over the Panthers.
Bryce Young should be starting last. I heard Chiefs minus
ten at the Raiders, Bears minus three. Commanders Cowboys at
forty nine ers. You know the line, Eddie Cowboys favored
(01:08:26):
by two. Why would the Cowboys be favorite? Because in
San Francisco, I.
Speaker 4 (01:08:30):
Don't have a team. Man is Kittle playing like? I
don't know if anyone's playing.
Speaker 1 (01:08:33):
Really, it's still forty nine ers minus four.
Speaker 4 (01:08:35):
That's mean, that's just rude.
Speaker 1 (01:08:38):
That's not a personal shot.
Speaker 4 (01:08:39):
Though I.
Speaker 8 (01:08:41):
Like suck.
Speaker 5 (01:08:43):
Pty is the only one p I get it. We
do suck, but we've had a week off to figure
stuff out. Or Kickers been in jury duty surveying in
they say he may not play.
Speaker 1 (01:08:52):
Serving his country. Is the military not jury duty? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
that's not build up what the cowboys do. Yeah, it
is like his really sacrificed them up. No, he showed
up to the court room on a Wednesday. Yeah, America.
All right, that's it. Thank you guys, Thanks to coach Bilama,
thanks to rich Eison. I feel pretty good about our
(01:09:12):
parlay this weekend. I said that anyway, even if I
don't be honest, do you.
Speaker 4 (01:09:15):
See Samuson State? We're going bowling?
Speaker 3 (01:09:18):
Baby?
Speaker 5 (01:09:19):
You won your sixth game? Yeah, it's a do We've
only been in the f CS for Oh, you have
to say, I don't know that. You act like we
know that Samuson State just joined the f CS like
two years ago. Okay, right, fcses Big Boys League.
Speaker 6 (01:09:32):
They were the f CS. I thought it was f CS.
Speaker 4 (01:09:37):
I just played is the big boys anyway?
Speaker 5 (01:09:40):
They just joined the Big Boys and now they've won
six games, which makes them Bowl eligible.
Speaker 1 (01:09:45):
Now, you guys have confused me. You just like you
have three little pigs and low red riding hood.
Speaker 4 (01:09:49):
We need to look it up.
Speaker 6 (01:09:50):
Yeah, FCS of is one double A, f b S
is one A.
Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
Oh did you're wrong twice? And you fought for being
wrong twice?
Speaker 4 (01:09:57):
Now I did not fight for little red right hood.
Speaker 1 (01:10:00):
You did, no, you did. You should go back and listen.
You fought for you that you confused? I said, three
little pigs and you're like red riding hood.
Speaker 4 (01:10:08):
So FBS is the big Boys?
Speaker 8 (01:10:10):
Is a big boys?
Speaker 4 (01:10:10):
Should it be with big boys? God should remember that?
Speaker 8 (01:10:14):
All right?
Speaker 4 (01:10:14):
Anyway, there you.
