Speaker 1 (00:04):
It's a podcast call twenty five whist stuck full and
they go, well a whistle, So yeah, it's too bad,
but what did you expect.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
It's a podcast call twenty five Whistles, Wine Wheel.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Hello.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Whistles, presented by DraftKings sports book and official sports betting
partner of the NFL. Download the DraftKings app and use
the code Bobby sports to get in on the action.
Coming up Darius Rucker coming up the whistle, and by
coming up, I mean, now.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
That was a little too hard. Oh that was good?

Speaker 3 (00:40):
What was solid?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Give your glove on?

Speaker 4 (00:41):
I do.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
I want to make sure that your podcast go because
you're not dressed, can't do the show. I'd like to
start off by, oh, saying a very sad goodbye to
Nick Chubb, who I drafted in I'm playing two leagues,
both my leagues first round.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Dang lost him for the year. You're not worried about
his injury at all? Like him like he's going. Don't
know him?

Speaker 5 (01:10):
Okay, because that look pretty bad.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
But no, I get it, I get it. Don't know him.
I hope he gets better. What do I care?

Speaker 2 (01:19):
We'll have him a team next year. I want him
to if I want every human to feel good and
be healthy. But I am sad because of I'm not
a Browns fan. I'm sad because I lost my first
round pick and guess who My other back is out
for three weeks.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Dang, so do you have another one who's on your
bench now?

Speaker 2 (01:40):
It's just it's it's all battered and torn like the knee.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Yeah, I'm that guy. Guys, I'm that guy. No, I
want him to be healthy. I hope he bounces back.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
But what I'm thinking about today is my fantasy team,
and it sucks, and I know it is secondary to
most everybody else except for the owners of the player
that gets hurt.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
So that's I'm very sad about that. Did you see
the footage? Yeah, I was watching the Oh you want
to know something stupid? I got a couple of things
to say.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
I bet the Saints minus three and a half and
Saints are running with it all good until the last
drive of the game when the Panthers they're not gonna
win the game. They score touchdown. Okay, well that sucks,
just stop them.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Score two. Then they score two and then went about
three the whole game.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
They let them just ease down that field.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
He just played. They played like super prevent. Yeah, it
was so stupid. I text Eddie. I was like, I
got the.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Saints minus three and a half and I know they're
gonna score touchdown, Please stop them from two.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
And they didn't and I lost that one.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
So stupid. Yeah, that hurts.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
People were complaining about the Rams game too, like some
call or something that messed up the line.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Well, I was back.

Speaker 6 (02:49):
With no time left. They were down ten, so they
lost by seven. But somebody said that he They think
he did it because the stats guy says, like your
odds if a tie ends up at the end of
the year, like you getting better odds of getting a
higher seed if you tie with somebody, oh like point
wise point wise Yeah, so also like points like Iowa.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
You know, Parence's son is the offensive coordinator and he
has to score like twenty eight points a week, and
so they were crushing last game and they just kept
scoring because he's not that average yet, so and it
has to be at the end of the year.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
So they were like padding it so he could have it.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
And I think once this year happens, if he's able
to keep that whatever that number was, they can renegotiate
the whole contract.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
But I think it was kind of his do or
die year.

Speaker 6 (03:33):
I think twenty five, know what it is, Yeah, it's funny.
I just I'll clip on that. And he scored forty
one last week and he like and they just kept scoring.
Got to the podium and he's like, what do you
guy thinking about that one?

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Did you guys see that North America lose by like
ninety points in football?

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Who knew there was a team but a North American
team on what college football?

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Oh? Really? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Probably like Division two or something.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Yeah, where are they out of North America?

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Like where? I didn't even know that was a school.
That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
But they were like down eighty seven to nothing, and
then another touchdown was scored. They lost like ninety something.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Oh man, I think it was like Portland State.

Speaker 6 (04:10):
It was Portland State because Portland State lost like eighty
something and nothing to Ork for a good week before
and then they were like, you.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
Know what, I took it out on North America, North
American University.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
We all lost though, it's North America, that's us. That's
all all offended. That sucks. Arkansas lost, which hurt pretty bad.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
I was doing my show in DC, and I kept
the game on the side of the stage where I
couldn't see it unless I walked off. There are a
couple breaks during the show I can walk off during
a video. And before I even walked to do my set,
we brought fourteen nothing. We like a fifty yard touchdown
around the edge, and then a pump returned for a touchdown.
I was like, well, looks pretty good to me. Then

(04:49):
I come back. It's close, as close as close, and
then the show is over. It's fourth quarter. We're down
seven and we have to drive, and we drive all
the way down the field, being like three holes.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
It's terrible.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Makes me sick.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Least it wasn't an SEC game, and I still have
faith that we could play LSU close.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
But we're like a seventeen point underdog. I'm loading up.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
I'm letting you guys know right now I'm gonna lose
so much that there's no way I'm gonna catch up.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
When you guys hear later about how much I.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Want to lost, I'm kind of scared for you because
I think we can win. When do I say that? Never,
Like I really never in mind, I'm not blindly.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Even in Death Valley.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
I don't give a crap Life Valley, Death Valley, Life Mountain,
Oh Death, Mountain, Murder Valley.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Exactly, We're coming baby.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Uh So that was a sucky loss for us, but
at least it wasn't a conference play. But look, Alabama
almost loses to you to set South Florida, which is crazy.
They don't have a quarterback. They got that five star kid,
but they've also who even knows what's going on, so.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
He's interesting. How late was that game? That Alabama game?
It was over in the evening.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Yeah, it was like six o'clock or.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Yeah, it was extending whenever about to go on stage.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Yeah, I think it's like a two thirty start, three o'clock.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Just making sure it wasn't too late for saving, for saving, sabing.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
You not, I said saving, Yeah, for saving. I want
to say that. All right, let's go over and get
in the tittle tattle stupid his name ever, the tittle tattle.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Let's get.

Speaker 6 (06:24):
Currently leading the nation in passing yards and second in
passing touchdowns, do you think Michael Phoenix Junior is the
best kept secret in college football?

Speaker 1 (06:32):
I think it's hilarious that you say his name like Penis, yeah,
or Phoenix.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
I think it the fact that you just went with Poenix,
though I don't think it's Poenix.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
Yeah, I like Poenix.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Matter of course me too, would be hilarious.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
I think he gets talked about a whole lot, and
everybody's like nobody even knows, but nobody will stop talking
about the fact that nobody knows him.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
We all know about me talking about it all the time.
Don't know anything about him.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
I went to Indiana first.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
You don't know about him. Now I know the name.
I know Poenix, but I don't Phoenix.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
So you don't know Pennick, but you know Phoenix.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
You know, when you.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Play West Coast, it's tough. I mean, even if I
mean Kayler Williams, we all know. But there's a lot
of story behind that. He goes to Oklahoma. Sure, he
comes in, he replaces Rattler, he then leaves with the coach.
I mean that's probably a big reason we also all
know Kayleb Williams so well as that whole story with it.
I think if you're going you're going to school to Washington,
Washington State and Oregon State.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Oregon a little bit.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Because it's a high profile school in usc high profile
school but those West Coast schools it's hard unless like
you've been around for a little bit. So I don't
think he'll win the Heisman, but he is playing really well.
It's hard to win the Heisman, even West Coast. There's
just a bias because we don't get to see the
games as much. But he's gonna play what cal uh
they go to Arizona and they play Oregon comes to them, right.

(07:49):
I think that Oregon game will be interesting as far
as where he stands. If there's I mean, if there's
if he's crushing it at the end of the order
because are undefeated, then I think he's probably the Heisman
front run if they won all three of those games.
I also think if Colorado wins and wins the next
two games, should a Sanders is Probably these big games

(08:09):
are where it's made. If you can just play decent
and win the big games, it's better than playing really
well and losing. So because the Heisman winner mostly needs
to come from a team that's in contention for something big, So.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
He's starting to not be such a secret.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
He should change the NATO Penis though Penis exactly. It's
like Joe Thaisman, that wasn't how his name. He changed
it because the heisman what was his name? It was
said differently, Joe. Yeah, really, I did not know that
changed it because the heisman Joe Thismond Heisman.

Speaker 6 (08:38):
I feel like you maybe maybe you've told us up before,
but I didn't know that either. And I would change
it because Poenix penis right right.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, a lot more fun.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Alright, go ahead, all.

Speaker 6 (08:46):
Right, just talking about Colorado. Travis Hunter's out for a
few weeks. Do you think the Cinderella story comes to
a screeching halt this week at Oregon?

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Oregon's a twenty one point favorite. I think Oregon probably
wins regardless. But the last time that there was a
two was a twenty point favorite with TCU. But again,
it is their best player out. I would have said
I probably would bet on Oregon in any ways. Straight up,
I'm not touching the line a Deon's team. I'm not
touching the line because I don't know he could surprises

(09:15):
and fall three short or even the Colorado State game
like to play him that close to me. I get it,
rivalry game, but he's supposed to kill him. So yeah,
I think they lose. I think they probably lose the
next two. But I'm not gonna go they're gonna lose.
They're gonna lose for sure because who knows. He may
have more kids transfer over today. Oh yeah, like start

(09:35):
a new rule. Take nine new Portal kids to come
in today, so they Yeah, that's a big number.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
So I do think we're gonna beat them.

Speaker 6 (09:43):
At Owen too and Burrough I'm sure to play next Monday.
Do you think it's time to panic for Bengals fans?

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Probably it's the same injury if it was a different injury,
or it's just the same. Yeah, it's tough to say
panic with the Bengals and Borough because the last three
years he's been oh two o two like one one
one too, they've never started, right. However, it's the same injury, right,
same leg, same calf, everything's the same.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Yeah, yeah, that I don't know that panic is the word.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
They could probably lose another one or two if they
rest him, and they can probably still get back into attention.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
They're that good. But they're not. They haven't even thrown
the ball down the field.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
You know.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
He's averaging like four and a half yards an attempt.
That's his back foot. I don't know which calf it is.
I think it would hurt me either way.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
I think it's the right one, his back foot, but
I would throw up.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
I was a quarterback, My throwing style would be granny
like under under him both two hand under hand, Granny
like that. So it wouldn't matter, So I wouldn't depend
too much on either leg.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Okoy, Yeah, all right, next.

Speaker 6 (10:37):
Last one here after another disappointing loss. Do you think
Chargers head coach Brandon Staley is a first Coach of
the Year on the hot seat, I used.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
To be like, give Staley time.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Yeah, he's his defensive coach. They ain't playing defense and
as a matter of fact, they ain't playing offense either.
The Chargers have so much talent, and I'm so sick
about hearing about.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
Man. I tell you what.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Their quarterback her Brage is the best man. He's one
of the top five. So talent.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Okay, Eventually, somebody's gonna have to do something to actually
show that. I think I said that the first episode
of this whole season. I was like, I get that
Justin Herbert is supposed to be really good, but he
ain't doing anything. He played hurt all last year. Great,
give him a cookie. They didn't win. It's great he
played hurt. That means he's tough, tough dude. But still
you can't put him up there in that class with

(11:25):
the Josh Allens, the Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
The Jalen Hurts, which they do, they put him up
in that upper sation line.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
He's never done anything, at least statistically at least to
be there.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
Am I wrong? He looks great. Yeah, he throws a
really pretty ball. But am I wrong? As he just
won massive games and they winning the playoffs?

Speaker 4 (11:46):
Does he no?

Speaker 2 (11:48):
So I'm sure people that are a lot smarter than
me see exactly what there is to be seen. But
he hasn't done it yet, and maybe that's Daley's fault.
He got a new offensive coordinator, ed he got your boy?

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Oh yeah, you got Kellen then Colmore?

Speaker 6 (12:01):
Yeah yeah, so he's over there now. It looks the same,
it sounds like the same. Thinks the exact same.

Speaker 5 (12:05):
Austin Eckler's been hurt. There's one game and I think
he's hurt this. I think he's out this week again.
I think he's out for two weeks. But I mean
that that hurts you. He's a top scorer for your team.
But what about every other game in playoffs in a
year last two?

Speaker 1 (12:18):
No, I get it.

Speaker 6 (12:19):
Their defense has been really bad too. You Yeah, Bosa, yeah, Bosa, Khalil,
Max and James.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Yeah, Mexican kind of old, but I agree, he's Max
still a eighty two, eighty three if Matt if a
real life Matt.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
You know Bosa's ninety seven.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Oh yeah, Parsons is a ninety nine. Yeah, oh yeah,
he's the only part. No, ninety nine high she can
be Okay, Yeah, they don't do three.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Days down, they should do one hundred. If you're the best,
you should do it. That's ninety nine. You're a ninety
nine er.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
But yeah no, uh, Staley should be on the hot
seed and if they continue to lose, even get fired
mid season.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
Yep, okay, that's a timp town.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
Stupid name.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
The Tunle.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Twenty five whistles presented by Draft Kings sportsbook and official
sports betting partner of the NFL. Download the Draft Kings
app used the code Bobby Sports Get in on the action.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
You know, I'm gonna tell you it wasn't my best week.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
Last week.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
I really felt strong about that five game far it
wasn't my best week started off good.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Yeah, LSU one yay, North Carolina one yay, Nebraska one yay.
I can't believe Tennessee lost to Florida. I really can't
believe arkaans All lost. Made me sick of my stomach.
So I like to apologize I didn't. I don't think
I full pinky promised this one though the last the
four Gamer I did. Oh that's right, but I even
said here, I can't fully pinky promise you that the

(13:38):
four Gamer I did.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
So I'm not giving anybody a refund.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
Okay deal, no smiles back.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
No, that sucked.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
Yeah, that sucked.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
I'm sorry everybody. I really let you down there. We're
gonna do it again this week, Dobb and I've already
been researching it. I'm feeling it right now. I feel
pretty good. I'm like sixty eight percent right now, but
i've been I'm not quite there. But the show later
on this week, I'll have the party for you. And
if you want to take the twenty five whistles part,
I did hit a big NFL parlay though, well, I
did hit one. I had Kevin go through and do

(14:05):
which we'll talk about in just a second. Had Kevin
go through and do my accounting on my Draft Kings County.
So I don't even know what my numbers are until
he give him to me. I haven't even looked at
the information he's s. I did see the College one
and I and I thought I'd lost a lot more
than I did.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
But I'll get to it a minute.

Speaker 4 (14:25):
Hold on all right.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
If you want to take the.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Twenty five muscles parlay, you can check out Draft Kings
Sports Book. New users use the code Bobby sports when
you download the app twenty one and up in most
eligible states, but age varies by jurisdiction. Eligibility and deposit
restrictions apply. Gambling problem called one hundred gambler in New
York call eight seven seven eight hope and why or
text hope and y four six seven three six nine.
See show notes for full details. You want the data,

(14:49):
got the info.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
I want to see how you did this WEEKND me too?

Speaker 4 (14:52):
Me too?

Speaker 2 (14:53):
So I felt like again in a weird way, I
felt like college. I lost in NFL. I thought I
probably came evenish or so.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
So this week NC doublea football Now, I was out of.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
Betting zones for a lot of the weekend, and so
since I'm in certain states at times where I can't bet,
I couldn't bet. So there's not as many bets this week.
But overall n C double A football this weekend wagered
seven hundred dollars winnings, And I'm gonna tell you where
I really.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Took it was Arkansas game.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Did you just keep doubling down on it?

Speaker 2 (15:30):
Well, live bet, it's just so winnings six sixty eight
total minus thirty two dollars.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
That's not bad. Thought it was gonna be a lot worse.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
Than seven hundred dollars. That's pretty dangerous.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Really, I thought it was gonna be a lot worse
than that. What do you remember looking at seeing where
I did any damage? It's okay, you don't have to
look no head in the NFL this week wagered thirteen
hundred eighteen dollars winning, divorced winnings sixteen hundred and sixty
three dollars. Wow, dude, totals plus three forty five.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
You get a great weekend.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Two weeks combined total bets forty four total wagered five
five hundred and thirty eight dollars. Total winnings four hundred
thirty eight dollars. I'm headed four thirty eight this year
on the good job.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
Man, you're doing great. That's a lot of bets. Yeah,
that's awesome.

Speaker 5 (16:24):
I've learned that a lot of patience is important in gambling,
you know, like just kind of betting it and then
like betting some more and then.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Just betting some more.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
They didn't telling patience. Well, no, What I mean is like,
you know, you make a bet like a week ahead
and just be patient. It's those day bets where you're
just like, oh my gosh, live bet here, live bet there. Well,
the live bets for me get amazing or really dangerous,
and that I'm like, oh, I feel it. For example,
the Giant I'm where I did really good in the

(16:55):
NFL was the Giants were down like fourteen nothing Arizona
I think or something like that, and I'm like, for
sure they're coming back, and so I hit that live
bet were like plus the Giants like plus three, and
they didn't come back. It was like twenty one. There's
twenty eight seven. I was like, oh god, so but
then it was Giants plus fourteen. I'm like sure, they're
going to come back little so I loaded up again
on Giants plus fourteen. Now it's good because they came

(17:17):
back and won.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
The whole game. They did, and that's pretty sweet.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Yeah, but I've also done it before where I'm and
then it just doesn't work out.

Speaker 6 (17:23):
Now when you do the live bets question for both
of you, if you're not watching the game, do you
still feel good about what's going on?

Speaker 3 (17:29):
Like if you don't know?

Speaker 5 (17:30):
What's usually only live bet when I'm watching, Okay, you
gotta see momentum.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
You kind of see like, all right, this team's consistently
doing better. I can't think of a time.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
Where I'm not watching because if there's something weird and
it's live, but maybe I'm thinking like somebody's hurt or
I don't know, I kind of need to be watching.

Speaker 6 (17:46):
Yeah, because Eddie and I were out when that Georgia
South Carolina game was going on and we were both like, man,
South Carolina looks good, you know, and they're winning and
there I hit that yeah, and you hit that one,
and I was like, but I don't know what the story, like,
what's going on?

Speaker 1 (17:57):
I don't know because we were watching watching I hit
that one.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
It scares me.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
That was good. Yeah, they only lost by ten.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
I thought they may hang in there, but I took
them plus fourteen as a live bet South Carolina. Yeah,
and then they've lost by ten is awesome.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
That part was awesome for me. So what do you
have your numbers or you don't care to share. I'm
still good.

Speaker 5 (18:16):
Like I started with forty dollars at the beginning of
the season, and I have thirty bucks in there. Okay,
but I mean I was up at I was up
to one hundred and twenty last week.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Yeah, yeah, but be it. That's not how you have
to talk about it, I know. But it was like,
and what happens to me when I hit that hundred.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
That means and you've had a terrible weekend. I mean,
we all had bad weekend, but you can't go well
one time I was up this it's just.

Speaker 4 (18:39):
What you are.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Just on Thursday night, I was up one twenty. Today
I only have thirty dollars. Where was the big loss?
Just the whole weekend?

Speaker 5 (18:48):
And then I had to hit UFC two on Saturday
night because some of the games were kind of boring,
except that Colorado game.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
But so then I lost in UFC. I lost every
fight in UFC except the last one because it was
a draw. Because that's the only reason I didn't lose
on that one.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
The Colorado game, I did not bet. I'm glad I
didn't bet it because I would have bet Colorado to cover.
And I was we were flying back from Washington, d C.
I was watching it on my phone, and you know,
they sure Sanders, they drive ninety yards or whatever, two
point conversion. Good, they go to overtime. But Shiloh played

(19:25):
really well too, like his son to play safety. Yeah,
you know, he had an interception I think it picked
six maybe fumble in the beginning. But they were a
twenty point favorite. I know they wanted double overtime. I
didn't feel like the celebration should have been that big
when you beat a twenty point dog. I get it,
you win, celebrate you one. It's just interesting because, like

(19:47):
I think they said this, the fan base is like,
we don't know what we're doing.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
Storm the field. I get it, but and I understand
you don't ever win, right.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
It's confusing the country's not watching it never watches your games. Yeah, well,
even I'm talking about this, I'm like, you know, I
don't know how it reacted.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
It just felt weird.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
I felt like it was too much of a celebration
to be the team you were supposed to beat by
twenty But then again, when you only won one game
last year.

Speaker 6 (20:13):
In the build up, I think throughout the week was
the big yeah, and the game felt so big, and
then you watch that game, it's neither of them really
like I mean, it was sloppy, it was ugly.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
Yeah, it was entertaining.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
I feel like the Colorado State coach kind of won,
kind of won that battle, the battle.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
Between them two.

Speaker 6 (20:30):
I put five dollars on Colorado State to cover in
the first quarter after the first drive, I'm like, you
know what, they look all right?

Speaker 3 (20:35):
And then I woke up.

Speaker 6 (20:36):
I didn't watch the whole thing. Passed money line or
uh money line. Yeah, yeah, it would have been great.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
It's sixty five bucks.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Now they're gonna play Oregon in USC Yeah, it'd be
super cool if they could win one or two.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
It's gonna be tough, but it'd be super cool.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
What about all these celebs there, like coming out Wayne awesome.

Speaker 7 (20:55):
Interviewing offset the Lillard's there, Like this college has to
be like what is going on at our.

Speaker 6 (21:01):
School, especially it's Colorado, Like, you know, like, what's older Colorado?

Speaker 1 (21:06):
Yeah, man, it's amazing.

Speaker 2 (21:07):
It is amazing, and it's you know, it's not gonna
be there for long. He's not going to spend a
couple of few years there. But it's pretty cool while
it's happening. Yeah, I agree, it's pretty cool. But just
think if they flipped the whole roster this year, they're
gonna get whoever they want. Next year, Oh yeah, they're
just gonna get whoever they want. Everybody's gonna want.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
To go play.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
Yeah, that portal is gonna be busy for them again.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
But then is he gonna cut a bunch of the
kids that he pulled in this year?

Speaker 4 (21:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Good point, you know, is a thing Cowboys, big big win,
another big win.

Speaker 5 (21:38):
I told you, dude, I told you. I mean, it's
it's I'm still a little worried about our offense. Our
offense hasn't shown that.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
They're exactly pretty consistent, and like I have some optimism
thirty one for thirty eight, it's good. Jets defense, pretty good.
But again, they get him that goal line and they're like,
we don't know how to get in the end zone.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
That's true. Pollard is just not big. Yeah, but he played.
He caught six or seven balls. Yeah he did, a
Poller does. But you're right. They don't have that battering rams.

Speaker 5 (22:03):
Ceedee lamb over one hundred yards. The receiving like a
really good game from everyone. Just that goal line is
the only worrisome thing. Good thing are Our kicker is good.
Who's a guy who I think is his first year
in the NFL too. He's a soccer player.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
He doesn't even play at college, right, hasn't played college?

Speaker 4 (22:17):
Really? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (22:18):
Yeah, he just started kicking.

Speaker 6 (22:20):
They like nonchalantly brought that up in their first game
but never talked about it again.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
I was like, wait, what did he just say?

Speaker 4 (22:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (22:24):
Yeah, I didn't even know that.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
And he was yeah, he never played college.

Speaker 6 (22:27):
He like played soccer or something, and then just tried
out for the USFL, I think, And now he's on
the Cowboys.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Do you guys have Sunday ticket? I do? Yeah, okay,
so that you know when you do the four screen yea.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
What's cool is you can do the four screen and
all four right, and you go to the screen, you
highlight it and you get the sound from that one.
But then if you just want to go to the game,
you just hit the button and the whole game comes
out full screen.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
YouTube did it all? It's YouTube?

Speaker 4 (22:48):
He did the best.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
It's amazing, mister YouTube. You really are doing a great job.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
YouTube.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
Yeah, it's the best for Sunday ticket.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
Yeah, because you can watch all and they have different
options of the four screen almost.

Speaker 5 (22:58):
I think it's every combination that that exists and college
same thing on Saturdays.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
Wait what wait, what what are you talking about?

Speaker 4 (23:04):
It?

Speaker 3 (23:04):
You can do I did. I was doing it all
day on Saturday and night.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Sunday Ticket includes college game.

Speaker 6 (23:09):
No, I'm saying the YouTube TV. If you're watching college
football on Saturday, same thing. They have multiple four screens,
like they'll have four there's obviously more than four games
going on at once, so you can click like, oh,
I'm gonna watch Minnesota and Indiana on this, and then
they have three other ones. But then the same thing
where you can get that volume, click on that, or
you can watch a different four that's going on at
the same time.

Speaker 4 (23:28):
Didn't know that.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
Yeah, yeah, okay, let's do this back with another week

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Now my friend in yours cartry medic superstar Miami Dolphins fans,
South Carolina fan.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Here he is Darius Rutger.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
Alright, So Darius Rutger is here, and before we even
started this, Darius yells at Eddy, the Cowboys suck out
of nowhere.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Yeah, you got your Cowboys hat and your little sweatshirt all.
It's like, man, they suck.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
Wait, Darius, what are you talking about?

Speaker 4 (24:39):
They do They're doing right now what they always do.
They're beating bad teams and then a're gonna get in
the playoffs and they're gonna get blown out in the
first round and you're gonna be crying.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
They do that a lot.

Speaker 4 (24:49):
They do that a lot. That's consistent.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
I mean I see the Cowboys doing but I also
see the forty nine ers doing well. I'm like, oh
my gosh, here we go.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
But don't you think, though, because I'm not a Cowboys fan, yep,
don't you think that one? Dak looked good against a
really good defense with the Jets. Yes, like super consistent.
Forget it's like thirty for thirty six. I don't remember
the exact numbers. Secondly, but no one's is, okay, I
don't worry about don't worry about it. Secondly, Michael Parsons is.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
The best player in the country, best best football player world. Yeah,
football player in.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
The world, I would say he's number one, and you
go to Mahomes for number two. If we're doing best
football player.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
Yes, So with that defense and with Dak just being
slightly better than a game manager, I think they could
do it this year at some point.

Speaker 4 (25:36):
But it's really really important. Dak's going to be Dak.
Yeah at so poort. Okay, I would love for the
Cowboys to play the Dolphins in the Super Bowl. That
would be the easiest win the Dolphins ever.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
All Right, When I watched the Dolphins play, which, by
the way, they're dying offense super football.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
They are dying between the speed of Wattle and Tyreek.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
It's crazy how fast they are.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
I would watch two it even this week, just Chunk
and Waddle would still outrun it and jump up and make.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
A great player like Wattle. Is that dude? Even if
Tyreek wasn't on the team. Wattle is that that dude?

Speaker 2 (26:14):
I agree with you, so, But that being said, I
just am so concerned about who I love that every
time he gets sacked or hit, I'm just like, God,
please get.

Speaker 4 (26:23):
Up, dude. You I'm a Dolphins fan. I love the
way Dolphins, and every time he goes down fingers crossed
stairs at the TV. Hope he gets up.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
I'm big to a guy, right, I love him.

Speaker 4 (26:33):
If he stays healthy, then they we really have a
shot at the super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
But that's a big big I love McDaniel, I love
the coach.

Speaker 4 (26:41):
Yeah, I do to that. Daniel is a great dude.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
Do you know him?

Speaker 4 (26:44):
I've met him once?

Speaker 2 (26:45):
Is he I hope he's weird. He's okay, good. He
has to be weird because that's what I expect of him.
I got a friend once that met himinem and I
was like, I hope he was a dick and they
were like he was. I was like, that's awesome. He
needs to be that because I don't want him to
not be what I need him to be. So with
that division with the Dolphins, what do you think the Jets?
We think they would have done if Roger stays in?

Speaker 4 (27:06):
Oh, they would They would probably go to the super
Bowl because their defense is so good. I was playing
pebble air I'm pretty good friends with Aaron. I'm playing
pebble with Aaron and this is before he signed with
the Jets, and I'm saying to him eight we played
three days in a row and I say eight million times,
you cannot go to the Jets. You cannot go to
the Jets, And then I get the text I'm going to.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
The I did see yesterday where they said that because
the guy I can think that was doing a surgery
like worked for doctor James Andrews. And but there's this
new that they said he could actually be back by
the January Simper. There's if I were the Jets, first
of all, I would say no way. Even if we're playing,
no way. If you're going to come back and you
can be good by January, that means you'll be real

(27:48):
good by next September.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
Yes, do you think he comes back? You know him.

Speaker 4 (27:52):
I don't think he comes back because I don't think
they'll be in contentent. No, no, no.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
Do you think him back next year?

Speaker 2 (27:56):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (27:56):
He plays?

Speaker 1 (27:57):
You don't think if I had a hundred million dollars
and now to go through a grueling rehab, I don't
know that I would go through a grooling rehab.

Speaker 4 (28:06):
But none of us, none of us played football like
this is. Nobody wants to go out like that, especially
when you're one of the greatest of all time and
you go to this team to win the Super Bowl.
Nobody wants to go out being carted off the field.
Everybody wants to walk off field. So I guarantee you
he will be bad.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
Do you think the Jets just stick with Zach Wilson
the whole time?

Speaker 4 (28:24):
Right now? They? I mean this, when you look around
in a landscape, there's really nobody so much better that
you're going to go out and pick up that, you know,
unless you can talk Brady into it, and you can.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Can you imagine he's a big I mean Brady rings
the bell.

Speaker 4 (28:40):
Can you imagine if he went to the Jets and
went into the Super Bowl with another time?

Speaker 1 (28:43):
Hilarious?

Speaker 3 (28:44):
I would throw all my Brady stuff away.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
He's always the Patriot.

Speaker 4 (28:48):
No, if he goes to Jets, I'm cutting his achilles.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
You feel like the Dolphins can do it?

Speaker 4 (28:54):
Yes? I really feel like with Fangio running the defense
now and Jayalen.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
Ramsey, if too stays healthy, I mean he's not even
I mean, is he is he getting back?

Speaker 1 (29:04):
Is he gonna be full? Jalen Ramsey? I think so
week six?

Speaker 4 (29:07):
I think I hope so yeah, if not six, week eight,
we'll take it.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Yeah, would you rather him wait and come back, Yeah, later,
because I guess you don't need need him right now.

Speaker 4 (29:17):
No, we're in a good spot right now. We're gonna
need jailing in the playoffs, you know, and right now
we're rolling right along too. A stays healthy will be good.
But uh, I would rather him stay out till like
week eight or ten and then rush back.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
Buffalo.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
Their windows closing, windows closing. I mean their window was
huge for the last few years. They looked good yesterday.
But I'm not scared of Buffalo.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Do you think, though, with Dave believing that Josh Allen,
he's doing a lot of picks. He's fumbled a bunch
even the second half of last year, do you think
that's hurt him for like perpetuity.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
Yeah, yeah, but you know he could get it all.
It could all transcend if he just plays well. If
he wins the super Bowl in Buffalo.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
For sure, everything set forever, too set forever. It's crazy
to think about those Buffalo years. They lost four in
a row.

Speaker 4 (30:05):
Dude, you got to realize this crazy. I'm a Dolphin fan.
We got Dan Marino and the Bills are going to
four Super Bowls in a row. It was like I
wanted to kill all of them. It was vicious.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
I was reading an article about how Dan Reno being
so good hurt that team because they felt like they
did need to invest in anything else, and they put
all on Marino's shoulders. And Dan's like, Yo, I'm trying
to I'm doing everything that possibly can't be one of
the greatest quarterbacks ever, but you're giving me no help.
And they felt like they didn't have to spend a
whole bunch of money because they had him. You're talking
about unfair.

Speaker 4 (30:35):
And it was tough because it was really before the
really big free agent era and when you built your
team through the draft, and the Dolphins were always making
the playoffs and losing early in the playoffs, and so
you know, you don't get any good draft picks and
you go through all that and you're like they, you know,
they didn't want a running game because they had Marino.
What do we need a running game? Boy? Yeah, you
need a running game to win the Super Bowl. But

(30:55):
that was tough. I watched a lot of great years
go down the tube, like like Joe Montana's the other day.
If he had won one Super Bowl, the greatest quarterback
who wouldn't even be a conversation who it was if
he had just won.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
One, and it's he's Charles Barkley. Yes, that Charles Barkley
was so good, so dominant. If you didn't and you
see him now, you're like that guy like kids now,
Charles Barkley was a man, Yes, But the fact that
he never won one with the Sixers or the Suns,
I think keeps some people from really acknowledging that he
was one of the greatest ever to play. I agree

(31:29):
that they don't move him up those less higher because
he did the same thing with Marino.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
That's a tough thing. When you don't win a championship,
people don't give you the respect that you deserve. For
a lot of players, and most players don't win a championship,
you know, but people at know sports like us. We
know that Marina was great. We know that Barkley was great.
They just did that champion thing. I mean, Barkley played
in the Jordan era, you know.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
I mean Jordan kept the sons. I mean he Jordan's white.
Barkley didn't win, which is crazy. Talk about South Carolina
football for a second. I'm a man, assive Shange. I
never wanted to like South I don't just like South Carolina.
It's like disliking Arkansas. We don't win enough. People dislike us,
so nobody like hates us. But I never had plans

(32:12):
to actually really like and route for South Carolina. And
we went over and spent the day with Shane and
coach Beemer.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
I love that dude.

Speaker 4 (32:20):
I love them like he's there forever.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
Yeah, like I root for South Carolina now and when
even when you were just fan, I was like, screw them.
I don't care why Darius that much, but like I'm
in So, what is your relationship with the program now?

Speaker 4 (32:33):
Oh? I I love I'm you know, Shane's a real
good friend. I love. I think I'm part of the program.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
You know.

Speaker 4 (32:39):
I built a studio in the UH in the facilities
for all the kids, and it's funny because he had
to put a curfew on it because they were staying
intil like four or five in the morning. That's awesome.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
How many games do you get back to or try to?

Speaker 4 (32:53):
I'll go to six this year? You will, yeah, home,
I don't go to away games. Man. I'm not getting
in a fight with nobody.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
That's smart. What's a successful season this season?

Speaker 4 (33:04):
Any Bowl game. You know, if we can win seven
eight games. You know, if we could sneak nine, which
doesn't look very good right now, but if we could
win seven eight games and make a Bowl game, that's
a successful season.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
You played Georgia tie, and I'm a big DraftKings guy,
and so I had South Carolina plus fourteen or fifteen
and they ended up losing my ten.

Speaker 1 (33:25):
I think it is what it was, but it was.
It was a really good game for.

Speaker 4 (33:28):
The first half. You couldn't tell me. After the first half,
I thought we were going to win the game. But
then Georgia did exactly what they should have done. They said,
we're not going to care about you running the ball
at all. It was going to play the past right
and they killed us.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
I feel like Rattler's arm is so good. But you know,
the big question is South Carolina with their offensive line
still is and it still is. Yeah, And if you're
in the SEC and you don't have interior O and
D like, that's where you get made and that's where
you get lost.

Speaker 4 (33:54):
To Watching the Georgia game, you really saw it. In
the North Carolina game, you really saw up front. We
just can't play. I mean, we can't play with the
big guys.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
I became pretty good friends with Dean Sanders, like five
or six years ago. Do you know Dionne at All?

Speaker 4 (34:06):
I met the couple.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
So, how do you feel about Colorado? You've been watching
those games?

Speaker 4 (34:11):
Everybody loves Colorado right now, you cannot pull for them.
You know, it was there. He's instantly turned that program.
He instantly made that the most watched program in the country.
And they're winning, which is even better. And you know,
I always say, Colorado, enjoy it right now, because as
soon as that Florida State job comes up, he's gone,
you know.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
And I've told the story before.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
He called me whenever that Florida State job was opened
last time, and no one was really giving him a
shot at any power five school, which is why he
went down and turned Jackson State into the powerhouse that
they became. But he called me and he was like, hey,
well you tweet that you think I'd be a good
coach for Florida State, and so he was already doing
the pr thing then, yeah, and so I was like,
I think Dean would be the great coach Florida State.

(34:51):
And they hired coach Norble, who I like as well
done in Florida state. But yeah, Colorado, they should love it.

Speaker 4 (34:56):
Yes, enjoy it. D All was so funny. I don't
know if you saw the six steven in an interview
the other day, but he uh they said, who's the
best coaching? What? Boy said? Someoney? Get me?

Speaker 1 (35:06):
Yeah, give me a mirror?

Speaker 2 (35:09):
Was also all right, Darius record new records coming out
on October the sixth.

Speaker 1 (35:14):
How many what's that? What's a record to you? Song wise? Now?
How many tracks? I'm sure that changed over the years.

Speaker 4 (35:20):
Uh, thirteen for regular and then you got to, you know,
put two in for Spotify, two in for Apple.

Speaker 1 (35:25):
So really, how do you pick which tracks you put
in for the Spotify, Apple or Target? Is it like
these are pretty good?

Speaker 4 (35:34):
No? I have recorded so much for a record, and
I usually like all the songs I record, So you
just picked the ones that and then there's always live
stuff sitting around that they want to use, so you
do that.

Speaker 1 (35:43):
Live stuff's always a good yeah, because that's still the hit.

Speaker 4 (35:46):
Yeah. You know you can put letter Cry on there
and everybody's happy.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
How many versions Letter Cry have you recorded over the years?
A lot, a lot, Darius. We appreciate the time going
to talk to you man.

Speaker 4 (35:57):
Always good. Thanks.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
Let's recap our locks of the week last week. Now
remember the rules, Eddie. I like it that you drink
with your glove too.

Speaker 1 (36:06):
Yeah, thank you man. I do everything with my glove.

Speaker 4 (36:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (36:08):
His podcast glove is on and he's really but he's
drinking over there as well, like he's with his podcast glove,
so he didn't drop it.

Speaker 5 (36:15):
Drinking coffee by the way. Yeah, in case people are
thinking I'm drinking on the job.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
Whatever it takes, man, whatever takes you to do this crap.
Let's do this.

Speaker 2 (36:24):
The deal was, if you give a lock and you lose,
you have to put in the pot how much ten bucks?

Speaker 1 (36:30):
Ten bucks.

Speaker 2 (36:31):
There's only one lock a week you have to give.
So Eddie, you had Chiefs minus three and a half
at the Jaguar.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
You guys went what.

Speaker 4 (36:40):
No, not really?

Speaker 1 (36:40):
Yeah, play the tape not now. Chiefs won seventeen to nine.
That is your lot you're in. No money's put in
by you. Let's go baby.

Speaker 2 (36:52):
Kevin, you had the Packers minus one and a half
at the Falcons. Problem is Falcons won the game into
the fish Bowl this week, Kevin, you lost, you have
to put ten bucks I.

Speaker 4 (37:03):
Have a point.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
Yeah, yeah, that's that's that's how it works. That's how
I lost the stupid Saints. Yeah, Panthers. Well, I'm just
as mad.

Speaker 1 (37:11):
Ten bucks. We gotta get a fish bowl in here.

Speaker 4 (37:13):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (37:14):
Put the money in there. Let's go to read.

Speaker 4 (37:17):
Did I win?

Speaker 1 (37:19):
Do you even remember your back? You don't have to
put your effort?

Speaker 4 (37:21):
You remember?

Speaker 1 (37:22):
Readers like uh, and we're like take your time. He's like, no,
this one looks good for god.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
Read.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
You had the Colts plus one?

Speaker 3 (37:29):
No, Texans plus one?

Speaker 1 (37:30):
Yeah, Texans, okay, Texas versus the Colts plus on? Is
it written wrong on here?

Speaker 4 (37:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (37:34):
Okay, so you had the Texans plus one. That's not good.

Speaker 4 (37:36):
What happened?

Speaker 1 (37:37):
Colts won by eleven? Is that true?

Speaker 4 (37:41):
Yes? Okay?

Speaker 2 (37:42):
And then I had Oklahoma minus twenty six and a
half and then Oklahoma won sixty six seventeen. Good job,
So Read and Kevin, don't put your ten bucks in
now on the show. Later this week, we'll get a
bowl or something and we'll put the money in there.
But you gotta bring the money.

Speaker 1 (37:56):
Put the cash in it. And Mike didn't play Mike.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
Mike said, no, smart, Yeah, we didn't put out the
Too Much Access episode with the University of Arkansas.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
You want to hold off a little bit.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
Well, I didn't put it out because I wasn't in
the mood. Yeah, I get that, And it's a really
good one. It's the best one we have so far.

Speaker 1 (38:11):
It's good and.

Speaker 2 (38:11):
Read is so good at editing, and it's not just editing,
it's like the comedic timing of the edits and it's
really good. Good job Read, it's a great job. But
we're not gonna put it out. I can't put it
out after a loss. But the problem is we have
to play four really hard games.

Speaker 1 (38:24):
In a row. Oh, so we may never see the episodes.
What a you're saying?

Speaker 3 (38:30):
I know you said you're gonna win this week.

Speaker 2 (38:31):
I know, but I'm just saying there's a chance for
an eighteen point underdog. So does that make me a
wimp for not putting it out? Am I a baby
for not putting it out this week?

Speaker 4 (38:40):
No?

Speaker 1 (38:41):
No, I'm with you on this.

Speaker 5 (38:42):
Let's wait for a good, solid win and then we
celebrate it by releasing the episode.

Speaker 1 (38:46):
I think it's a great idea.

Speaker 2 (38:48):
We have Western Kentucky coming up to Powerhouse Conference USA,
we're gonna go to UNLV this week, so somebody needs
to win.

Speaker 6 (38:57):
Yeah, because if everybody loses, we can't play any that's
the rule. Yeah, we can't play somebody after that's that's
a good.

Speaker 3 (39:02):
Rule we should put in our audience.

Speaker 4 (39:03):
Lose. Yeah, but that.

Speaker 2 (39:04):
Shows baby, we shouldn't put out a team after they lose.
I don't think we should put out a team after
they lose. Generally, I think it's great.

Speaker 1 (39:09):
Do you guys feel okay about that?

Speaker 4 (39:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (39:11):
Yeah, that's fair because why would somebody even promote it? Yeah, yeah, like, hey,
you just came up as a crappy loss.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
Yeah, but here you go tell everybody about it. Yeah,
when their gym is fantastic.

Speaker 6 (39:19):
Yes, that's great facilities. All right, let's go around the
room here, let's do the I told you so of
the week. Something you told us, and maybe we didn't listen,
maybe we.

Speaker 1 (39:29):
Did, But Eddie, I told you so all the week.

Speaker 4 (39:32):
Go.

Speaker 5 (39:33):
I told you that the Cowboys that was gonna be
a no brainer, no brainer win. Yes, the Cowboys were
gonna win, and they did that. There was no looking back. Dude,
I'm telling you, the Cowboys look unbelievable. And I don't
know if we're playing crappy teams. I don't know what
it is, but the Cowboys just look good and they
look like a team that wants to win.

Speaker 1 (39:52):
The whole dang thing.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
We didn't score points on a good defense, yeah, you know,
which is great. Dak also played good thirty one out
of thirty eight or something like that. It's pretty good.

Speaker 4 (40:00):
All right.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
You told us so.

Speaker 6 (40:00):
I told you Kevin Mine is the Patriots offensive line.
I told you guys that they're going to be They're
gonna struggle this year. And they struggled against the Dolphins
big time. Made them look like the Cowboys defense actually,
and that's not the case at all. And they didn't
even have Jalen Phillips their best at dresser, Van Ginkle,
Van Gunkle something like that. He looked like, and I'm like, okay,

(40:21):
so I told you guys about their offensive line and
it showed.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
But so so you're I told you so is how
bad a team was going to play.

Speaker 3 (40:27):
How bad a position?

Speaker 1 (40:29):
Yeah, but that was kind of interesting. Yeah, I told
you so. Should be something that people didn't kind of
agree with, not that we also were like, oh how
about that?

Speaker 7 (40:37):
Yeah, No, one disagreed with you on that, but you
said you said whether we agreed with you or not,
I know, but it's supposed to be like something. They
got a little bit of resistance, like you don't say
I told you so, and we're like, we're all we
all agreed, dude, Like, hey, I.

Speaker 1 (40:48):
Told you so. Patrick Mahomes is good. I told you so. Okay,
so next time? Okay, Like mine is Baker Mayfield.

Speaker 4 (40:57):
Oh, you did tell us so.

Speaker 1 (40:59):
I told you Baker Mayfield.

Speaker 6 (41:02):
He's a.

Speaker 1 (41:06):
At least through two weeks, he just played good. He
broke the whole Minnesota defense down out on the field,
calling every play. Been playing well, Baker Mayfield. I told
you so. Don't bet against Baker. I told you undefeated.
You say that, and they where are they right now?
To and o undefeated? Patrick Mahomes agrees to terms on
a new restructured contract. Oh my gosh. Why they do this?

(41:30):
Interesting question?

Speaker 3 (41:31):
Good question.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
I would assume they did it for cap reasons. After
this coupled a few years, they can pay him all
this money now and have money to then play with later.
It's got to be a cap reason, yeah, because why
else would you do it?

Speaker 6 (41:47):
And they're saying it's to make him quote unquote happy
because now he's in the market with the top guys.

Speaker 2 (41:52):
That's all good and stuff, but he's already contractually in
for seven years unless you change it.

Speaker 1 (41:57):
Who cares if he's happy he's there.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
That's why you give him the biggest deal last time
it's got there's got to be some numbers, some fudging
numbers in play.

Speaker 6 (42:04):
Because usually everything's backloaded, but now it's like front loaded.

Speaker 1 (42:07):
Right, so they can get it over with. Yeah, I
have money later.

Speaker 3 (42:10):
And then I think they said they're going to re
negotiate in twenty twenty six.

Speaker 1 (42:14):
What's the guarantee on this two hundred ten million dollars?

Speaker 3 (42:18):
How about Chris Jones? Do you think he's mad at all?

Speaker 1 (42:20):
They didn't gi him any money, right, they'd just give
him some incentives and that's it. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (42:24):
I would be mad if for anybody but Patrick Mahomes probably,
but yees, I'd probably still be a little irritated. They
couldn't drop a couple of you know, morsels for me.
Uh Saquon Barclay's spraying the sideline up for three weeks.
Barry Sanders announced a documentary on why he retired, because
that was always kind of a mystery. It's like, well,
I just assumed because he hated that the Lion sucks
so bad and weren't getting any better.

Speaker 1 (42:45):
That was my assumption. But can't you ask for a trade?
I felt like he just didn't want to play anymore?
Get beat up?

Speaker 6 (42:51):
I don't know where is he, guys in your rankings
running back because I'm a little too young.

Speaker 3 (42:54):
I kind of remember him, he.

Speaker 2 (42:57):
Just doesn't have any like he's it was fun watch, yeah,
but but but we didn't have Sunday ticket. Then they're
on like three games on TV. That's all right, So
we really just saw highlights.

Speaker 3 (43:07):
And they were never Thanksgiving.

Speaker 4 (43:08):
That's it. Huh.

Speaker 1 (43:09):
Yeah, it's very very very rare that you saw Lions
game some Monday night footballs.

Speaker 7 (43:14):
Maybe, so.

Speaker 1 (43:16):
Are we doing what we've been told or who we've seen?

Speaker 3 (43:19):
No, like in your lifetime? Where would he rank or
who would be your top three?

Speaker 2 (43:24):
Maybe top three because I'd probably put like a because
I do I remember Walter Payton. I mean I remember
the highlights NFL film and I don't know if I
remember him or like being very young, or if I
just saw the clips of him very so maybe it
should be when you're alive. Okay, yeah, so Walter Peyton,
I'd put up there we were alive, like eighty five Bears.

Speaker 1 (43:45):
Yeah, but I don't. I don't remember a lot of it.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
Walter Peyton, Emmett Smith, oh for sure, Okay, your cowboys face.

Speaker 1 (43:53):
He was like poetry in motion. No, I don't feel
like he was poetry.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
I felt like Barry Sanders's poetry because he was like
you jive and move imm it just straight ahead, but
like would find the hole. Yeah, we wouldn't get touched.
Like it was really poetry. It's like he's flying and
Ikey Woods. That was not just for the shoffles.

Speaker 1 (44:12):
Okay, okay, No, I'm not.

Speaker 6 (44:15):
The Nigeria Nightmare Sean Alexander. Yeah yeah, but you're doing
tech mobile Eddie. I'm doing real life Bo Jackson for
a second.

Speaker 2 (44:26):
But but no, dude, that that with him and the
Bos with dealing with like commercials or like the documentary
of the bas But you're telling dude, Bo was like
here kids, Yes, but he wasn't the best running back.
He didn't have enough of life. Blew his hip out
against Bengals. True true, quickly you know, but yeah, I

(44:46):
dunk a salin. I always like Bo Jackson more than
Marcus Allen and they played on the same Raiders team.

Speaker 3 (44:51):
What about Adrian Peterson.

Speaker 1 (44:54):
I think Adrian Peterson so long.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
Yeah, he's up there too, So I would probably put
Gonnake Walter Payton now because I don't know if I've
if I've ever seen him play, But Adrian Peterson for sure,
m Smith for sure, and no doubt.

Speaker 1 (45:08):
Ikey Woods. All right Woods, Ikey Woods. That's it. That's
it for this week. We'll be back. We'll come back.
Thanks to Darius for stopping by.

Speaker 4 (45:18):
That was cool.

Speaker 1 (45:19):
I'm kind of talking a lot of crap to me, man, No.

Speaker 4 (45:23):
No reason.

Speaker 1 (45:23):
No, it's cool because you wear a glove, dude, That's why.
That what it was wan a podcast. I don't like
this guy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 2 (45:30):
Goodbye, my friends. We will see you on Friday. What's
the lets out? Eddie?

Speaker 1 (45:35):
Yeah, I got you. Here we go, let's go give
me that.

Speaker 6 (45:41):
Eddie.

Speaker 1 (45:44):
See you guys next time.

Speaker 4 (45:48):
There we go.
