Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome in. What a crazy month July was. We are
now on to August, and I do not believe the
insanity is going to stop anytime soon. We have got
a lot to dive into with all of you. I
am here solo. Buck will be back tomorrow. He is
(00:20):
taking care of some things, and I had to take
care of some things yesterday. But we will be back
together very soon. Here. But I want to dive into
a bunch of different stories right off the top and
give you an idea of where we are headed. Number
one story trending right now in America. I don't know
how many of you saw this, but in the Olympics,
(00:41):
a man who identifies as a woman, a man who
was not allowed to compete as a boxer in other
boxing competitions, was permitted to box in the Olympics in Paris,
and early this morning he fought against a woman from
(01:04):
at Italy. And this is absolutely unbelievable. It crystallizes I
think so many of the lies of the left that
are going on right now, and in particular it's a
time for choosing. We're gonna be talking with Riley Gains
(01:25):
here in a few minutes. I think Riley has been
incredibly brave talking about this issue. And I understand some
of you may not have gotten really kind of fired
up about this because maybe it hasn't been at the
top of your mind. But I've been on this for
a while, and what we saw in the Olympics, I
think demonstrates what happens when you deny biological reality and
(01:48):
when you allow lies falsehoods to be accepted as truth.
There are all different sorts of opinions out there that
you guys could have about what the tax rate should be,
what is the appropriate corporate tax rate, what should we
do with tariffs on steel, how should we handle Chinese
(02:09):
piracy of our goods, what should we do in Ukraine?
What exactly is the appropriate decision to make when it
comes to nonviolent drug related charges in the criminal justice system.
These are things that many people of reasonable backgrounds and
(02:30):
varieties can all sit around in debate. A man pretending
to be a woman and winning a women's championship and
being allowed to go into a women's locker room with
male genitalia and pretend that somehow he is actually a woman.
At some point inclusion becomes exclusion, and Riley Gaines spoke
(02:57):
out bravely about this, and I want you to hear
what it sounded like from Riley when she had to
swim against a man. But we got audio here. This
is a former Women's Olympic gold medal boxer Claressa Shields
saying the Olympics screwed it up. Here listen to cut one.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
The Olympics definitely dropped the ball, you know, and listen.
I don't have anything against transgender women or transgender men.
All I'm saying is that me and should fight against men,
women should fight against women, and transgender should fight against transgenders.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
That is how I feel.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
I will stand with that.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
I'm not homophobic or anything like that, or against the
gay community, but that's not right.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
This also brings to bear the South Park episode, and
we've talked about this quite a lot. South Park created
a macho man, Randy Savage character who claimed that he
was a woman and would go out and beat up
women and claim women's championships in all women's sports out there.
(04:08):
They did it to satirize the absurdity of the left's
claim that men are women. Every single day becomes more
of a reality. And I want to play this for
you as well, this is cut to miss Swanson. How
does it feel to be competing today?
Speaker 4 (04:24):
I can't tell you how free I feel now that
I've started identifying as a woman, Now that I can
compete his female, I'm ready to smash the other girls.
And is it correct you just started identifying as female
two weeks ago. I'm not here to talk about my transition.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
I'm here to kick them.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
Let me tell you something, Dingleberry, David Perry. I'm gonna
rule up the other women here, and I'm gonna smoke them.
I am the strongest woman. This state is ever.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
Seed that's played for, it has now become a reality.
This is also particularly apropos in some ways that it
would become a major story today because today represents the
rewriting by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris of the definition
(05:17):
of women for purposes of Title nine. We've talked about
this a lot on this program. We had Betsy Devas,
Trump's former education secretary, who fought against this. For those
of you who are not aware, Title nine under Biden
Harris administration policies now is defined based on gender identity,
(05:41):
not based on biology. That means many different institutions across
the country now are in danger of violating federal law
if they don't allow men pretending to be women to
compete in women's athletics. I think this is such an
incredibly important issue again because it crystallizes the lies that
(06:03):
we are being told right now. Democrats are trying to
say Donald Trump and JD. Vance are weird. Meanwhile they
believe that men should be able to beat up women
and become women's boxing champions. And what you saw that
video that has begun to go viral on a level
(06:24):
that frankly I haven't hardly ever seen, has now been
viewed thirty four million different times. I just checked right
before I went live of this man beating this woman
to such an extent that she was taking punches and
she felt compelled the woman did to take a knee
and in the boxing match, because she knows what it's like.
(06:46):
She's an Olympic boxer. She knows what it's like to
feel a punch from a woman. And she said, and
we're not going to play you the audio because she's Italian,
but you can read the transcript for yourself. Will put
it up on clayanbuck dot com. She knows what it
feels like to be punched by a woman and being
(07:07):
punched by a man felt very different. This is where
democrats would lead you. This is where Kamala Harris would
lead you to a world where men who want to
identify as women aren't just presumed to be women, which
is a lie, but they are allowed to actually compete
(07:28):
for gold medals and beat up women as well. Again,
this individual was not allowed to compete because of biology.
The Olympics allowed it, and now we are seeing what
the result is. This is not just a political issue. JK. Rowling,
(07:51):
Harry Potter, author has been weighing in in a significant fashion.
Jake paul elon Musk. People that ordinarily are not weighing
in on women's sports on a regular basis are looking
at this video and saying what I think the vast
majority of you all believe, which is this is crazy.
(08:14):
This is unacceptable. This is a sign of what happens
when you allow biological reality and biological truth to be questioned.
And again this is important you question biology here. There
are no women who identify as men that can even
(08:34):
make a boys by and large or men's athletic team.
Men are bigger, stronger, and faster than women. It is
a time for choosing and honesty in life, and this
is a crucible moment. I believe when we come back,
we're going to be joined by Riley Gaines, who I
think has spoken out courageously on this issue since she
(08:54):
had to swim against a man in the NCAA Championships,
a man whose name is in the record books, Leah Thomas,
huge six foot four man who decided to identify as
a woman and won an NCAA championship. People say, oh,
this doesn't happen very often. Boy, it sure seems to
be happening more and more, doesn't it. Your daughters or
(09:16):
your granddaughters as this continues, are going to have to
compete against men in athletics. It is a symptom of
the sickness that has taken over this country. We'll talk
with Riley gains when we come back about all of this.
In the meantime, Jerry Paget enlisted in the US Navy,
wanting to defend our freedoms and represent our nation in combat.
(09:38):
He deployed multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan, taking on
direct battle. While on patrol, Jerry was injured in an
improvised explosive device blast. He suffered severe injuries to his
spinal cord and brain, leaving him to recover and live
with both audio and visual impairments. Nothing can reverse the
damage done to Jerry's body, but through the Tunnel to
(09:59):
Towers found Foundation, we can honor heroes like Jerry in
gratitude for their tremendous sacrifices. We understand the price of freedom.
We can choose to honor those who fight for it.
Thanks to friends like you, Jerry and his family moved
into a new smart home at the Tunnel to Tower
Foundations Village in Florida, where he can live independently thanks
to adaptive technologies. Your donation today and each month can
(10:22):
change the lives of those who so selflessly sacrifice for
our communities and our country. Join Buck and me in

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Buckleby back tomorrow taking care of a few things, and
we'll be back potentially tomorrow's together. We got to figure
out as a show what to do with the situation
that's going on in Israel right now. For of us,
our schedule tomorrow to fly to Israel, as you might
well imagine, not particularly safe in Israel right now. So
(11:09):
I may or may not be on the show tomorrow,
depending on whether I'm flying to Israel or not, whether
the flights are even allowed to take off. So many
different moving parts there. It's a little bit of behind
the scenes action in addition to everything that's going on
that you are hearing every single day we started off
the show. Encourage you to go download the podcast. Riley
Gaines was great at the Olympics. A man beat up
(11:32):
a woman. She said she could no longer fight him.
Kamala Harris thinks it's a good thing. Joe Biden think
it's a good thing. We had a lot of discussion
about that in the first hour. It's a time for
choosing on an issue such as that which to me
is quite clearly right or wrong. And allowing men to
compete as women and beat up women in boxing seems
(11:53):
like a pretty easy decision to label is wrong. The
entire Democrat Party believes that it's more important really understand
what's going on there. It's more important that a man
pretending to be a woman not be offended that someone
questions their womanhood than it is to protect a woman
(12:13):
from being beaten up by a man. That is the reality.
So i'd encourage you to go listen to that discussion,
appreciate your calls. We'll continue to take some of your calls.
We moved throughout the course of the program, but I
want to pivot here to what happened yesterday with Trump
at the National Association of Black Journalists. Kamala Harris did
(12:34):
not appear. We are now in the I believe eleventh day,
it might be the twelfth day where Kamala Harris has
done zero interviews, has actually answered zero questions from any journalist,
has not done a single event off of the teleprompter
(12:54):
since she took over the campaign from Joe Biden. Going
to run the weekend at Bernie's two campaign with Kamala Harris,
not even with Joe Biden. Remember all the media out
there that was demanding Joe Biden to a press conference,
Joe Biden do interviews. I haven't seen any of the
(13:16):
same media demand that Kamala Harris do anything. They are
going to try and hide her, just like they hid
Joe Biden in twenty twenty. At least then he was
old and he had COVID. But the lesson they took
away was if we don't do any challenging interviews, our
candidates don't get exposed. Meanwhile, Trump will go anywhere and
(13:40):
talk with anyone, and when he does and those interviews
are combative, it's used against him. We're not playing by
the same set of rules. And we said this on
this program. We had RFK Junior on I believe multiple times.
We have invited Gavin Newsom on this program. We've invited
(14:01):
Joe Biden on this program for four straight years. I
would gladly so would buck have Kamala Harris on this program,
and we would ask genuinely tough questions, fair questions. Sometimes
some of you have gotten mad at us because we've
been too hard on the people that we've interviewed who
(14:22):
are Republicans. Mike Pence won't come back on the show
because I pressed him, I think fairly on whether he
believed that Trump should be put in prison for the
rest of his life, and whether if he were president,
he would keep that from happening. Mike Pence wouldn't really answer,
So I don't want to deal with hypotheticals. Well, sorry,
that's offensive to me. The entire purpose of a presidential
(14:44):
campaign is to deal in hypotheticals. All you do is
tell us what you would do if you won the election.
That's how campaigns work. So when you try to dodge
a question, I'm offended, as I would be if I'm
a listener. Buck a couple of years ago got into
Christy Nome. People were not happy. Sometimes when you ask
(15:05):
tough questions and the questions aren't answered, there is an opportunity,
I believe, even an obligation on the part of the show,
to get answers to questions so that you guys can
make better decisions. So we would welcome I'd welcome Joe
Biden right now if he called in. I would welcome
Kamala Harris right now if she called in. I would
(15:27):
ask all sorts of questions. I would ask a question
not as combative as the one that Trump started with
at the NABJ. But for those of you who didn't
hear it, I just guys, can you stop it?
Speaker 3 (15:39):
Right?
Speaker 1 (15:39):
After the question, because I think Trump actually did an
okay job answering it. But I want to on the
fly answer this question as I think Trump could have
answered it if he had delivered a perfect response to
a question that we should have seen coming. This is
how the National Association of Black Journalist and ABC News
(16:02):
reporter how she began the interview with Donald Trump.
Speaker 6 (16:06):
You have told four congressman wment Color who were American
citizens to go back to where they came from. You
have used words like animal and rabbit to describe black
district attorneys. You've attacked black journalists, calling them a loser,
saying the questions that they ask are quote stupid and racist.
You've had dinner with a white supremacist at your Marlogue resort.
(16:27):
So my question, sir, now that you are asking black supporters.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
To vote for you, why should.
Speaker 6 (16:33):
Black voters trust you after you have used language like that.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
Okay, so that's the opening question. Not Hey, great to
see you, appreciate you giving us the time, Thanks for
getting on your airplane, flying all the way to Chicago,
and having the decency, unlike Kamala Harris, to answer questions
and address us directly. None of that Trump walked into
(16:59):
the Wyons day and they went after him. That was
the opening question. Now, in an ideal world, Trump would
have responded, Now, I don't have anything written down. I
don't do teleprompters. You guys know that. But in an
ideal world, here's what I wish Trump would have said.
I wish Trump would have said, Well, first of all,
it's great to see you, appreciate you guys having me here.
(17:21):
I'm looking forward to record levels of black support because
a lot of people are seeing through the lies incarnate
in the question that you just asked. I'll answer your
question here momentarily, but first let me pivot and ask
you a question, and ask all of you in this
gathering of black journalists here a question as well. Have
(17:42):
you ever asked Kamala Harris a question like that to
start off an interview? And lad with a couple of
questions that I think are actually pretty significant. First of all,
you called Joe Biden a racist in your failed twenty
twenty presidential campaign. On the stage, Joe Biden said he
(18:02):
didn't want his kids to go to a racial jungle
for school. One day, you referenced that, Kamala, have you
ever asked Kamala how she could justify serving as vice
president for a man that she believed and was publicly
willing to say was racist. I don't know that Kamala
(18:23):
Harris has ever been asked that question. That seems like
a pretty significant question. You also had Joe Biden in
He said you ain't black if you don't vote for me.
He said Republicans were going to put you back in chains.
Have any of you ever pressed Joe Biden on that
question and asked him why your race should dictate how
(18:46):
you vote? Because I think that's insulting. Now pivoting back
to your question, I'm sometimes a jerk. Occasionally I may
behave like an ass, But the one thing I'll say
is I don't treat anybody differently. If a black person
asks a stupid question, I call him out on it.
If you, as a black woman, leads off the interview
(19:09):
in a contentious manner in a way that you never
would if Kamala Harris were sitting here, I think that's
racist of you. I'm going to call that out. I believe,
for better or worse, that everybody should be treated the
exact same. Does that sometimes mean that as you pointed out,
I might be a little bit glib and a little
bit mean and a little bit unfair, maybe even to journalists,
(19:31):
because I think a lot of you are worthless. Yeah,
it does, but it doesn't mean that I think black people,
Asian people, Hispanic people, or white people should be treated
differently based on your race. You know why, Because I'm
a Republican. That's what Democrats believe. So the reason I
came here is to cut through all the fluff and
all the lies that you guys regularly peddle and sit
(19:51):
down and directly tell Black voters, Hispanic voters, Asian voters,
white voters, I want all your votes because I'm going
to be the best damn president you you've ever seen. Okay,
that's me, unscripted, no teleprompter. That answer. If you're not
gonna deliver home run answers, don't go to people who
(20:13):
hate you and expect that it's gonna go. Well, that's
my biggest thing on the NABJ. Imagine and I'm not
saying that's the perfect answer. I think it's close to
a perfect answer. Imagine if Trump had done that. Imagine
if he had delivered that response that I just gave
now his response wasn't awful. I shared it. I think
it was a solid single to left field. But if
(20:38):
you're gonna do these interviews, you have to swing for
the fences. You have to try to hit grand slams
with the bases loaded. We know Kamala Harris is not
gonna do him. She's not gonna come on this program.
Open invite, Kamala. You're saying Trump's a coward because he
won't debate you. Okay, here's the reality. You are a
(20:58):
coward because you won't come into a show like this
and sit down and talk to this audience and respect
them for twenty minutes. You won't do it. Open invite anytime,
any place, anywhere. We'll even tape Kamala Harris. Open invite
for Joe Biden. He's had one for four years. Come
on this show, actually ask challenging questions. They won't do it.
(21:23):
If they're not going to do it, why should Trump
do it? I get some of you out there. You
want to beat your chest and say, oh, he'll go
on anywhere. Yeah, does he actually persuade anybody? With the
way that interview went? With the NABJ gambling odds drop
five percent. After that interview that he was going to
be the next president of the United States. Now, maybe
(21:43):
they'll come back. You guys know that I like gambling odds.
That's the market at large saying this was not a
positive for Donald Trump. What did he gain? Yes, he
showed up. You knew what questions were coming. If you're
not willing to put them in the upper deck, why
are you swinging the ball swinging the bat. This is
a conversation I have all the time with my team
(22:04):
at OutKick. I say, singles are good. You make a
good living as a singles hitter, But when somebody hangs
a curveball for you, you got to put it in
the upper deck. That opening question, to me, you knew
it was coming. It was a hanging curveball. Trump hit
(22:25):
a single, and then there were later moments where I
don't think he even got base hits. I don't think
he benefited from that interview. Now some of you are
going to say, oh, he totally, you're already voting for him.
We're roughly ninety days out. To me, everything that Trump
does for the next ninety days should be designed to
(22:47):
try to persuade people who otherwise wouldn't be voting for
him that they should. The bass is in the bag.
I would crawl on broken glass at this point to
get my vote in for Donald Trump. My wife right
now is working because it's primary day in the state
of Tennessee where we are. I mentioned that she's concerned
about voter integrity. She's working volunteering all day at our
(23:11):
local voting place to make sure that she's getting all
the votes in the best way that she can. Same
way that I would encourage all of you if you're
fired up about the election integrity where you live, donate,
volunteer your time and actually make a huge difference. But
what does he gain? And I'll open your calls. Maybe
(23:34):
there's something that I am missing here. If you're doing
something that the other side won't do, and you're being
judged harshly when you do it, what would the headlines
be if Trumpet stayed all day at Mar a Lago
yesterday and just flown to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and done his event.
I think they'd be better for him. I don't think
(23:56):
the gambling odds would have swung by five percent. A
lot of people saw that and said this was an
unforced error. If Kamala is not playing by the same rules.
If the media is not even going to demand that
she come off a teleprompter. Does Trump gain by coming
off the teleprompter and going into the lions, then I
(24:17):
just want you guys to be thinking about that. Would
you fight a tiger if the other side wasn't I
don't think I would. Can Trump play with the lead?
These are big questions. I think they're important questions. We
know Trump's got a lot of energy. I need a
(24:38):
lot of energy. We had like a sixteen hour day
the other day, a bunch of advertisers down at the
Breakers in West Palm, beautiful place, thrilled to meet a
bunch of you, including Seaton, who was one of the
last people to leave the bar. Do you know why
because he has great energy, because he has chalk. Chalk's
all natural testosterone supplement. It'll make sure that you have
(25:01):
the energy you need to make it through your day.
Testosterone has collapsed all over the country, certainly all over
the Biden White House. Right now, you can increase your
testosterone level by twenty percent in three months time just
by taking the mal Vitality Stack. You can go online
check out their website cchoq dot com. Use my name Clay,
and you get the best possible subscription price, detail and

there who likes to make telephone call. Maybe you like
to be on the phone and be able to speak

more energized than our failing commander in chief Joe Biden.
That's chalk dot com. Two guys walk up to a mic.

Anything goes Clay Travis and Buck Sexton.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
Find them on.
Speaker 5 (26:13):
The free iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
Welcome back in Clay Travis buck Sexton Show. We are
joined now by President Trump, who was so fired up
by what he saw happen in the Olympics that he
wanted to weigh in. So I appreciate you calling into
the show, mister President. Let me start with this though,
I got concerned. Buck was too that the final interview
you might do for your whole life was going to
be on this show, because we talked to you Friday afternoon,
(26:40):
and then Saturday you went up to Pennsylvania and you
were doing the rally and you came within about a
quarter inch of taking a bullet to the head and
you took one to the ear instead. So the first
thing I should say is, thank the Lord, you're still alive.
I can't believe it.
Speaker 7 (26:55):
Well, it was pretty amazing actually, according to a lot
of people that know about shooting, like my sons and others.
Speaker 8 (27:02):
And they thought it was pretty amazing.
Speaker 7 (27:04):
And you know, a great person was killed.
Speaker 8 (27:07):
I got to know his family very well.
Speaker 7 (27:09):
Corey and the two people were very badly injured. Actually
they thought they maybe probably wouldn't make it and they're
going to be okay, they're going to be fine. But
they went through a lot and it was it was
a bad day.
Speaker 8 (27:22):
It was a bad day, no question about it.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
We talked to Don Junior up at the r n
C and he said that they were all terrified, as
we all know in the in the family, but that
he decided he wanted to make a little bit of joke,
and he asked you about whether your hair was okay.
Can you confirm that that was true and that your
hair was came through fine?
Speaker 8 (27:41):
My hair is good. My hair is good.
Speaker 7 (27:43):
My ear was a little bit hit, to put it mildly,
but my hair was left alone.
Speaker 8 (27:48):
That's that's true, no doubt.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
All right, let's dive into this. Your granddaughter did an
amazing job. She's a great golfer. We met her, I think,
up at Bedminster with you, and you took her out
on the course. I know you've been playing with her
a great deal before we get into the Olympics. In particular,
if you found out that she was going to have
to compete against men in golf, you know the difference.
There's ladies teas for a reason. There's a tremendous difference.
(28:15):
What would you say, as a grandfather, leaving aside to
being a president, running for president, all of those things,
what would you say, you're a big sports fan, just
about being fair, if you found out that your supremely
talented golfing granddaughter was having to compete against.
Speaker 8 (28:29):
Men, Well, golf is different.
Speaker 7 (28:31):
It's first of all, it's a huge disadvantage anyway, But
golf is a lot different than being punched in the face,
like that young lady from Italy was today. Well, she
took two shots and she said, I'm out of here.
I never got hit like that before in my life.
And she was supposed to be a very good boxer,
but she said, this is crazy.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
But a golf's a little.
Speaker 8 (28:48):
Because you still have to be able to putt and
other things.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
Yes, even in golf, you know.
Speaker 7 (28:52):
There's a big difference in distance. That's why, as you said,
better than anybody. That's why they have the ladies sees and.
Speaker 8 (28:57):
The men's t's and all of that.
Speaker 7 (29:00):
So obviously it's a you know, a big part of
what I say. One of the things that gets the
biggest applause just about and it's I have other things.
Speaker 8 (29:09):
That a very important, like the border. We got to
close the wall.
Speaker 7 (29:12):
You gotta drill, baby, drill order that. But one of
the things he gets the biggest applause. And you know
this because you've.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
Been to many of the rallies.
Speaker 7 (29:18):
I had a great one in Harrisburg last night. It
was unbelievable actually, And what gets the biggest applause is
we will not allow men to play in women's sports.
And you know, I usually use weightlifting as a good example.
You could use swimming, you could use a lot of
different but weightlifting is so good. But I think it's
been replaced by boxing because this lady said, I've.
Speaker 8 (29:40):
Never been hit like that. It was like getting hit
by a horse. So I mean, she took two punches
and she said, that's it. I'm out, I'm out.
Speaker 1 (29:49):
What do you think about Kamala Harrit's It's it's incredibly
coincidental because today Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have rewritten
title nine so that it now includes gen iy. So
if a man wants to identify as a woman, as
you just mentioned, that thing has gone viral. Everybody is
reacting to it. They wouldn't let that person fights as
(30:11):
a woman because it didn't fulfill the biological requirements. Man
beats up a woman in the Olympics. What did you
think when you saw that video?
Speaker 8 (30:19):
Well, they've gone. This is where they've been.
Speaker 7 (30:21):
They've gone, you know, into the whole thing with men
can do anything they want, they.
Speaker 8 (30:25):
Can go into the locker rooms, they can.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
Do whatever they want.
Speaker 7 (30:28):
They transition and they've been that's where they've been and.
Speaker 8 (30:31):
People don't understand it to me, you know, I say,
we run a campaign on common sense.
Speaker 7 (30:37):
The Republican Party in Maga is about common sense, probably
more than it is about being conservative or anything else.
Speaker 8 (30:44):
That's common sense.
Speaker 7 (30:44):
We want to have a strong border, we want to
have low taxes, we want to have good education. We
don't want to have men playing in women's sports.
Speaker 8 (30:53):
But this is where they are. The whole party is crazy.
Speaker 3 (30:56):
And they took him out.
Speaker 8 (30:57):
They did a coup with him, and it wasn't a friend.
It was a vicious coup.
Speaker 7 (31:01):
You know, he had all the votes and they just
said we'll do it the easy way of the hard way,
and they took him out. You know, from my standpoint here,
we are working against him. He's down for the count practically.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
And it's like if you had a.
Speaker 7 (31:12):
Fighter like Dana White, the Great Dana White. You have
a fighter and he's not doing well, and you take
him out, you put somebody else in. But I don't
think she's going to do well because her policies are
so bad. I mean, she wants open borders, she wants
the all electric cars in a very short period of time,
no more gasoline powered cars or hybrids.
Speaker 3 (31:31):
Or any of that. It's just ridiculous.
Speaker 8 (31:33):
This the country.
Speaker 3 (31:34):
Look you here for.
Speaker 1 (31:35):
To the rest of the world when you hear yourself
and JD vance called weird by Kamala Harris, who believes
that a man should be able to win a women's
boxing championship, that a man should be able to be
a women's swimming champion. We had Riley Gaines on the
show earlier. Who's the weirdo there? What's weird actually letting
(31:57):
men pretend to be women and win championships or just
saying women's sports should be played by women.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
Well, they're the weird ones.
Speaker 7 (32:04):
And if you've ever seen her with the laugh and
everything else, that's a weird deal going on there. They're
the weird ones. And nobody's ever called me weird. I'm
a lot of things, but weird I'm not, and I'm
up front and he's not either.
Speaker 8 (32:17):
I will tell you JD is not at all they are.
I mean, who wants to have.
Speaker 7 (32:23):
Open borders where prisoners that's weird. We're prisoners and we're
mental institution patients are taking out of hospitals.
Speaker 8 (32:30):
And jails and they're let into our country.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
That's weird.
Speaker 7 (32:34):
Who would want that policy, who wants the men in
women's sports policy? Who wants to quadruple your taxes?
Speaker 8 (32:40):
The whole thing is weird, and the way they do
elections is weird. And no they're the weird ones. But
you know what it is. It's a sound. But you've
been watching it.
Speaker 7 (32:49):
Russia, Russia, Russia, Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine. It's oh, it's sound
by it and the press picks it up. Do you
notice the evening news. Every one of them's talked. You know,
they introduce the word weird, and all of a sudden
they're talking about weird. Now, we're not weird people, We're
we're actually just the opposite you little.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
I don't know if you heard this yet, but a
little bit earlier, Joe Biden. I don't know if Joe
Biden knows anything. I think you kind of showed that
when you knocked him out on June twenty seventh and
ended his political career. I know you saw me on
Jesse Waters. I mean, we've never seen a knockout like that.
Talking about it, and I know you posed as he
dropped out, but he was just talking about Russian hostages
(33:30):
and he said, you didn't get Evan Gersovich back, even
though Evan Gersovich didn't become a hostage until he became president.
I want to let you hear that, and hear what
he said. I mean, his brain's mush, we know that,
but I want to let you hear it.
Speaker 4 (33:45):
Trumps said repeatedly that he could have gotten that hostages
out without giving anything in exchange.
Speaker 3 (33:51):
What do you say to that?
Speaker 1 (33:52):
What do you say to President Trump?
Speaker 2 (33:53):
Now to former president?
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Why didn't you know who he's president?
Speaker 1 (33:58):
Okay? I mean, how crazy is this?
Speaker 3 (34:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (34:00):
Well, he's incompetent.
Speaker 7 (34:02):
And you know, he was so adjudged by his own
if you take a look his own counsel, if you
look at the prosecutor who we call it a prosecutor.
Speaker 8 (34:13):
They call it a council.
Speaker 7 (34:15):
And he came out and he said, with respect to
the document's case, he said essentially that he's incompetent. You know,
that was an interesting thing. He's incompetent to stand trial,
but he's allowed to be president. That's a very interesting thing.
Can't stand trial because he's grossly incompetent.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
No, no, I heard that.
Speaker 8 (34:31):
I heard he said this.
Speaker 7 (34:33):
Why didn't Trump get him out? And he was taken
during that time. You know, I got out fifty nine
different people, fifty nine and I didn't pay money.
Speaker 3 (34:40):
I didn't pay money.
Speaker 7 (34:41):
You know, once you do that, these deals are going
to happen more and more because the amount of things,
including cash, that we give up is so astronomical. This
is a big deal. And they allowed some really rough
people out, you know that, right, And they did the
case of Britney Griner also they allowed.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
What was the merchant of death. They traded her for
the merchant of death, which is maybe a worse trade
than our friend Herschel Walker back in the day, the.
Speaker 8 (35:08):
Greatest arms dealer in the world. You know, And look,
these are rough deals. To make these deals sometimes you
have to be different. But we got out fifty nine.
Speaker 7 (35:18):
Without having to pay. I got people out of North Korea.
You don't get tougher than that.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
Last question, Last question for you, because I know I
told your team you had to run. You've got a
ton of things. Last question for you. Can you pledge
that when you are president, men will not be winning
women's championships, that you will reverse these Title nine rules
that I can't believe we even have to have this discussion,
(35:44):
but that men will compete in men's sports, and women
will compete in women's sports. And this will be ended
once and for all, from day one.
Speaker 8 (35:52):
From day one, it'll be ended. It'll be ended, and
there'll be no tax on tips, and seniors won't have
to pay tax on social security.
Speaker 7 (36:00):
And we'll do lots of different things the seniors. You
know that's been really hitting the seniors paying tax on
social security.
Speaker 8 (36:06):
It's a lot and we're not going to do that.
So all of that, but I can tell you one thing.
Men will not be playing in women's sports.
Speaker 7 (36:14):
And you guys can write it down, mark it down,
and never speak to me again.
Speaker 8 (36:17):
Although that might be an honor for me, may quite
life easier, but.
Speaker 7 (36:21):
Never speak to me again if I violate that.
Speaker 8 (36:23):
Nope, it won't happen.
Speaker 7 (36:24):
When you look at this young lady from a different country,
what difference does it make?
Speaker 8 (36:28):
Just look and say, oh man, what hit me? I
just got hit by a horse, and she just I've.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
Never seen that.
Speaker 7 (36:36):
We're two jabs and she said, I've had enough, and
you know you can't take it.
Speaker 8 (36:40):
It's ridiculous. The whole thing is ridiculous. The whole country's
a laughing stock. Our country has become a laughing stock.
Speaker 7 (36:47):
All over the world, that we're going to change it
and we're going to make America great again.
Speaker 1 (36:51):
And you guys know it aiman mister president. By the way,
it's the thirty sixth anniversary of Russia emboss starting this
show that Buck and I get to do every single day.
So I didn't plan on this because I didn't think
this crazy story was going to happen. But I appreciate
you calling in and sharing with the audience and fighting
the good side of the fight Fight, Fight Fight, one
of the most amazing things we've ever seen. Thank you
(37:12):
for the time, Sir.
Speaker 8 (37:14):
Zak and Rush would be proud of you.
Speaker 7 (37:15):
Guys. I can tell you that I knew him well.
Speaker 3 (37:17):
He was great. He's really missed. Have a good time.
Speaker 8 (37:21):
Thanks fellas.
Speaker 1 (37:22):
No doubt that is President Trump. Absolutely fantastic. We'll break
down that with you when we come back. But he
wanted to reach out and just let all of you know,
not on my watch, we're going to end once and
for all men being able to compete against women. And
just think about how crazy that is. Would you have
ever believed a decade ago that the future president of
(37:46):
the United States would have to call in and say, hey, guys,
just want you to know when I beat Kamala Harris,
who's crazy on this issue, among many others, We're going
to once and for all end men being able to
compete as women. I sometimes I think you have to
take a step back and think about how far down
the road to crazy town we've really gone. Thirty six
(38:09):
years after Rush started this show, President Trump's like, hey,
can you know we reach out. We want to make
sure that we address this issue. Just absolutely bonkers that
we could ever be there. I want to tell you
you need to monitor your heart health, and we live
in a technology driven world where that's now possible every
single day for those of us that want to monitor
(38:31):
our heart rate, blood pressure, we can do it now
in a matter of seconds using technology monitoring your heart health.
Great example FDA Clear device called the cardio Mobile six
L that connects to your cell phone that's cardiospelled with
a K. The number six refers to the six different
views it will give you of your heart health that
in less than a minute, all on your phone. Great
product for anyone concerned about heart health. Cardiovascular diseases leading
(38:55):
cause of death globally. So having a device like the
Cardiomobile six L in your pocket could be a game changer.
Cardio Mobile six L allows you to share your EKG
data with your doctor in a matter of seconds. Here's
how you get yourself set up, either on Amazon or
Cardia's website, whichever you prefer. Just one hundred and twenty
nine bucks. That's before a twenty percent discount with a
promo code we'll give you here Cardia dot Com, Ka, Rdia, Amazon,
(39:21):
whichever you prefer, used twenty twenty four Clay. That's twenty
twenty four Clay, twenty percent off Cardio Mobile six L.
Welcome back in Clay, Travis Buck Sexton show. Let me
go ahead and give you a little bit of information
behind the scenes here. First of all, President Trump I
(39:42):
thought was great. I think it speaks to his relationship
with Rush and I think the relationship that Buck and
I have had with him since he got back that
when he wants to weigh in sometimes on issues, this
is a forum that he's very excited to be able
to reach out to make those statements clear because he
(40:03):
is so fired up about exactly what is going on
there that he knows this forum makes a lot of
sense to be able to have that conversation. We're going
to be joined here in a moment by Auburn men's
basketball coach Bruce Pearl, who is a good buddy of mine,
(40:25):
But that there is a trip we had scheduled to Israel,
and among all of the other things that are going
on right now, we just got news that our flight
to Israel has been rescheduled and so canceled. At some
(40:46):
point we are going to have to reschedule that trip
to Israel. I've never been. I've always wanted to go,
and right now Bruce Pearl is about to call in
and discuss that with us, and I think it speaks
to the danger that is out there in Israel right now.
(41:08):
So all of you know, we were scheduled on El Awl,
which is the Israeli airline, because we were told, hey,
they never canceled, they always maintain their flight schedules, so
that we didn't want to book any other airline. We've
had this scheduled for a long time. They canceled. And
(41:32):
I know many of you out there are prayer ful,
and now might be a good time to be praying
for Israel, because if they are canceling all of the
flights from the United States into Israel. It is because
they are expecting really bad things. And there are a
(41:55):
lot of very innocent people on the side of good
who were attacked on October seventh, who've been fighting now
for ten months since, and they are about to have
a lot rain down upon them. And I know we
have a lot of listeners right now in Israel, and
(42:16):
we got a guy on with us. Coach. I was
expecting Auburn men's basketball coach Bruce Pearl coach. I was
expecting to have you on to give me some advice
about Israel. When I was texting you, I said, Hey,
this is the day before we're scheduled to leave. Literally
in the last fifteen minutes, they have canceled all the
flights to Israel. Just as a guy who's been to
(42:37):
Israel for a long time and has been fighting on
the side of the Jewish people for a long time,
what does that make you think that they're canceling even
l al flights. They have to be expecting a lot
of bad things coming towards Israel right now from their enemies.
Speaker 3 (42:54):
Yeah, Clay, I'm sorry that your trip got canceled because
just the opportunit to go to Israel and experience that
be so close to God and the courage that you
showed and want to show, but being there and and
bringing the stories back to all of us firsthand, so
(43:15):
hopefully you'll get to go. This is not a war
that Israel wanted. This is not a war they started,
and I don't think right now they really want a
seven front war. Israel is going to have to take
care of Hesbelah if Hesbela won't take care of itself diplomatically.
They've been launching rockets since October seventh, NonStop, and so
(43:38):
much of the country has been displaced in the north.
But they don't want to bite off more than they
can chew. And they understand that a full fledged war
with Heswa is going to mean potentially thousands of Israeli's
dying because they can reach everywhere and anywhere in Israel.
It'll take a monumental defense and tremendous casualty of life.
(44:03):
But they're going to take care of Israel Hesbla because
Hesblah has made it clear like Amas and some of
us are Israel's enemies, that they want all the Jews
in Israel dead, that they are unwilling to live side
by side as neighbors in peace and the shame of it.
There are about two million Israeli Arabs living in Israel
(44:24):
and doing wonderfully. I have chosen to be a citizen
of the state of Alabama, living in Alabama. Before that,
I lived in Tennessee, and I chose to contribute to
my country and my state. And there are two million Arabs, Drews, Christians,
Muslims living in Israel and living a great life. But
(44:45):
there are some, including the Palestinians, the Godsens, some people
that have had some terrible leadership that simply will not
live in peace.
Speaker 1 (44:55):
You have lived on I believe you were born in Massachusetts.
You've lived on all over the country. You've been a coach.
When you see from Columbia to Ucla the kids on campuses,
You've been coaching kids for a long time, campuses everywhere
lining up and defending Hamas and their attack on October seventh,
(45:17):
two Part question one, what do you think when you
see it happening from Columbia to Ucla? Two? What do
you think when you see so many Southeastern Conference and
ACC schools schools in the South, whether it's the frat
guys at North Carolina who refuse to let the flag
touch the ground, or whether it's at many different SEC
(45:38):
campuses where protesters showed up and chanted back against the
pro Hamas pro Palestinian defense of October seventh. What do
you feel about both of those perspectives as a guy
who spent a lot of time with kids on college campuses.
Speaker 8 (45:54):
Well, listen, Clay, as you know, young people Americans want
the right wrongs. We are for liberty, we are for freedom.
Speaker 3 (46:04):
Who wouldn't be against occupation, colonization, radicalization, racism. The problem
is it's not true. The problem is these kids on
these college campuses that are protesting have been sold lies
and propagandas and things that are simply false. And so
(46:28):
the Arab world decided, and some of the air world
has decided. Says the beginning of time and in the
Bible that there's a challenge, there's a conflict with living
with the Jewish people, and certainly when the state of
Israel was created, when Zionism began the late eighteen hundreds
early nineteen hundreds, many Jews began to come back to
(46:48):
a homeland that was promised to them and their ancestral
homeland tensions began to build, and it was the decision
of some of the Arab leadership, except we're going to
leave the Palesaidians there. We're never going to accept the
state of Israel. We're never in accepted Jews living in Jerusalem,
or living in East Jerusalem, or living in places where
the Bible was written, like Hebron or Sham or all
(47:09):
these other communities that you would have gone and seen.
You know, the garden Yosemite, Okay, where Jesus was betrayed
is in East Jerusalem. David's powace, the city of David
is in East Jerusalem. That's supposed to be the capital
of a Palestinian state. And oh, by the way, in
the state of Israel, while there are nine million people,
six million Jews and three million others, probably Jews would
(47:32):
be living in the Palestinian state in this two state solution.
And the answer is none, because if there weren't Jews there,
they'd be dead. Okay, this is pregni signet naw who
nailed it. He said, this isn't this is right and wrong,
this is good and evil, this is humanitarian and barbarism.
So when I said, these kids on college campus I'm like, dudes,
(47:55):
you are completely misinformed. Okay, you are wrong about this.
I would stand with you if what you were saying
was true. On the other end, certainly proud of the
evangel Christians in the South and others in the community
that have taken a different approach. Why some of them
have done at church or going to synagogue. They know
their Bible, they know the history, they know the reality,
(48:18):
and they also understand this. It's one thing to protest.
I was in Washington, d C. For BB's speech. I
walked the streets of Washington, d C. And even walked
through and around and close to some of those protesters.
When I saw Palestinian women or children or kids, you
know what, my heart kind of reached out to them, saying,
(48:38):
you know what, I bet they've suffered. I bet you
they've suffered. You know who needs to be freed from
voss and hesblah. The Palestinian people. They've been used as shields,
they've been used as ponds. They've been using weapons by
those terrorists to try to send the world a message
that they've been mistreated, you know what. And I felt
badly for them, But about seventy five percent of the protest.
(49:00):
They kind of look like you and me, with just
a little bit longer hair and maybe not as well bathed.
I mean, that's that's who they look like. Okay, that's
and and and and and So we're not going to
accept violence. We're not going to allow you to take
our flags down and burn burn flags and put up
palace in a flat No, no, not in our watch,
not here in this country.
Speaker 1 (49:22):
You're a little bit like me, I bet in that
you love sports. You've had tremendous success. I think you're
gonna win a national championship at some point, But when
you look at what's going on in the world, is
it hard to be as focused on sport when you
see what's going on in the larger context. I'm just
kind of curious, even for a guy like you who's
(49:42):
had tremendous success as a coach, when you look around
at the larger world, how does that impact you and
the job with which you are working as hard as
you can at every day. How does that impact your perspective?
Speaker 3 (49:55):
Well, Claire, I think you you kind of hit the
day on the head when you said we had some
things in similarity. Used to be you were sports, sports, sports, sports.
That's where you got your start, that was what your
passion was, that's what you knew, and then you began
you began to evolve into something that you know what,
there's some other things going on in this world and
in this country that kind of mattered more to you
(50:18):
than just covering sports. I'm really proud of you for
the way you involved the messages that you're delivering, and yeah,
there are Look, I got a job to do, and
I love Auburn basketball and I love the SEC and
I got a really good team this year. And I'm
not going to take away time or talent or energy
away from what I've got to do. I gotta do
my job. But yeah, I do worry about where we're at.
I worry about the I worry about where we are
(50:40):
right now, where the world is at war in Ukraine
and Russia, and what's going on in China, and what's
going on in the Middle East right now, and so
much of it was preventable. It was just preventable. Ukraine
should have been told from the job. Look love yet,
but you're not getting in the NATO right now. You're
just not. Russia is knocking. Have it. You can work
(51:01):
with both of us, otherwise there could be war. We
empowered it. President Obama believed, and I believe well intentioned Clay,
that he could bring Iran into the world of nations,
could bring them in a normalcy and peace and productivity
and whatever. He was wrong. They are an Islamic extremist
state led by They're holding their people hostage, and they
(51:25):
don't really want peace and normalization. And what did our
government do? What did President Biden do? He believes us
like Obama, Hey man, we can we can do this
nuclear peace treaty. We can. We can allow them to
sell some oil and be no, you can't because they
take all that money and they give it to the
to the terrorists Iran. This country does not need to
(51:46):
go to war where I ran. But we need a
bankrupt Iran and that government and not let them fund
the terrorism. We created the situation on the ground right
now where thousands of people have already died because of
our poor decisions in foreign policy. There cannot be two sides.
And by the way, there are many Gulf Arab states,
(52:08):
many who are really happy that Israel is taking care
of the problem of Hamas and Hezballah and Iran they don't.
None of us like the death of the innocent people.
None of us want war. It's awful. And what's going
to happen right now in Israel, potentially with HESBLA in
the north right now is going to be is awful.
I hope there's a strong hope the United States is
(52:31):
strong and and and gives Israel the ability to defend
yourself because I think the gloves are really really going
to come off, and there's gonna be a lot of
death and dying on both sides.
Speaker 1 (52:40):
Auburn men's basketball coach Bruce Pearl, I bet there are
a ton of people out there, maybe Alabama fans even
they're like, man, it's hard to root against this guy.
I appreciate you calling in, and hopefully we'll be able
to get to Israel soon because you've been telling me
what an amazing country it is for a long time.
I thought you were going to come on and tell
me that are lights get canceled. But we'll talk to
(53:01):
you again soon, and good luck with the upcoming season.
Speaker 3 (53:04):
Okay, God bless America, and I'm ysra Okai. Thanks for
covering it. Clay.
Speaker 1 (53:08):
