Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome in everybody. Thursday edition of The Clay Travis and
Buck Sexton Show kicks off right now. This election is underway.
There is actual voting going on right now, early voting
in Pennsylvania. Do we know how many states, Clay, have
you talied it? It's a bunch, right. Early voting is
(00:20):
underway in some places, which means that the votes.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Did you know, I don't even know the number? Off
you know what I actually printed out and have it.
This is how much of a nerd I am? I
have it printed out. It is on the counter in
our kitchen because I wanted to be able to see.
That's how much of a nerd I am? I have
the whole thing, see printed out the detail.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
Yeah, I knew you'd have it somewhere, So we'll get
it to you later on this hour when Clay runs
to grab some Crockett coffee, he will also be able
to tell us every place where there's early voting. But
just to bring into our conversation, how much this is
really happening right now, that election twenty twenty four is
in process. It's kind of weird, right you think of
(01:02):
it as election day, But as we've been telling you, no, no, no, no.
Go vote early wherever you can, wherever it is legal
to do so. Obviously, go vote early. We've also got
updates on Hurricane Milton. I am coming to you all
from Los Angeles, So I am out here in LA
doing the Bill Maher Show tomorrow night. It will be
(01:24):
It will be a good and robust exchange of ideas.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
They pick your outfit or did carry pick your outfit
for TV tomorrow?
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Carrie had outfit approval. I am not. I do not
work unless someone says you must wear a tie for something,
and I care about their opinion. I do not wear ties.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
So okay, I didn't I carry weight in no tie
early preview for you on Bill Maher, which I'm I
mean that that should be fun, like that should be
interesting to see how it goes.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Have you ever had a live audience boo you before?
I don't mean boo you like a sports thing where
they're kidding because you're like I actually no, but they're
actually mad at you.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
No, I've only had it.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
I've had it happen a bunch in sports where I've
picked against a team that is it's.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Playful, but it's playful. No, I'm talking about you. When
you're a conservative on Bill Maher, you can get an
audience that boos you, and they rarely are booing you.
So anyway, don't worry. I'm prepared for that. In fact,
if I don't get a little hiss or boo from
the audience, I'll feel like I haven't quite done my job.
But nonetheless, out here in LA I bring that up
because I'm not close to what has gone on in Florida,
(02:33):
but obviously a lot of my friends and family are.
We have an update on Hurricane Milton. It seems I
know they're still surveying the damage the tornadoes, which the
footage of it, some of it looks like it's fake.
Some of these tornadoes. There were tornadoes popping up in
parts of Florida that looked like something from the movie Twister,
(02:54):
or look like something you would expect, you know, in
a flat midwestern state tornado alley. But the tornadoes unfortunately,
four people confirmed dead, a lot of damage. I mean,
the hurricane hit I think at a category two level,
not a Category four or five. But we're still taking
stock of what the damage is. Relief efforts underway, and
(03:17):
we'll bring you the latest on that. Throughout the show.
But this is really the still in the early hours
are after that that incident, so and Helene and the
efforts to with Helene continues. I wonder which is going
to be Helene, as we know already has fatalities that.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Are the dead hurricane since Katrina.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Katrina.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
Glad you brought that up.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Buck, I will be at our nash at our Ashville
affiliate in North Carolina tomorrow. So I am flying in
on a helicopter because I think it's almost impossible to
land in Ashville. They are going to in the helicopter
fly me over the area and the damage. I will
be there live fromon to three in our Asheville affiliate.
(04:02):
I appreciate them hosting me. I'm gonna hope to give
you guys a first hand account of what I have seen.
And then Buck, we are raising money on Friday for
Hurricane Helene victims in East Tennessee Knoxville at the Yeehaw
Brewery downtown Knoxville. There for anyone that is going to
be in town that lives in Knoxville, East Tennessee, Florida, Georgia,
(04:23):
Florida Tennessee have a big game and so we're trying
to shine a spotlight.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
We'll be doing a lot of that tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Now. I didn't get a chance to talking about it
yesterday Clay Clay had had the show, so I will
weigh in and know that some of this we've probably
already touched on a bit. I was on a flight yesterday,
but Clay Kamala is having a panic moment. I think
the whole campaign is honest Democrats Mark Halpern. When I
(04:52):
say honest, I don't mean they're honest in everything, like, oh,
you can trust these Democrats. I mean those who are
being honest when it comes to the state of this election.
Recognize that the numbers are not only against Kamala, they
are trending clearly against Kamala at this point. So you know,
(05:13):
there's there's a lot that we can get to. One
of the components of this is Pennsylvania. Early voting is
underway right now in Pennsylvania. This is cut ten Donald
Trump telling everybody get after it, don't wait, get there
to the polls. It is even with Trump with good numbers,
even with things trending in the right direction, it's going
(05:36):
to be close when all is said and done. In
these critical battleground states play ten. Early voting is underway now.
So when the polls open tomorrow, don't wait. Go immediately,
go as soon as you can. If you want, you go.
Some people want to wait. They want to wait till
that beautiful Tuesday, that day that's going to be the
(05:57):
most important day in the history of our ten.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
Yeah, I believe, you know, I really believe that.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
I think we're gonna win Pennsylvania. We're leading in all
the polls. I shouldn't tell you that.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
I shouldn't tell you.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
I should say we're down one. We're down one.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
Get out of it now.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
We're doing well in Pennsylvania. We're doing well in Michigan.
We're doing well in Arizona, Nevada.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
We're doing well everywhere. We're doing well in places that
are Republican hasn't.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Won in years. We're doing well everywhere because people are
looking at the people that are destroying our country.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
They say, we're not going to take it anymore.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
If we win Pennsylvania, we win the whole thing. It's over.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
Right, the whole thing.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
That's all it takes. They win Pennsylvania unless something crazy happens. Clay,
that's ballgame.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Well and I'm glad Trump is saying get out and vote, Bucket.
Yesterday you were traveling cross country. I spent a lot
of time, and some of you are going to get
tired of hearing us say it, but this is voting time.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
We have a voting season.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
You may not like it personally, Buck, I wish everybody
had to show up with their ID in their hand
at their local polling place on election day. I think
that's the way to have the most secure possible elections.
So I agree with all of you. We've talked about this.
My wife is volunteering and is going to spend all
day Election day at our local polling place checking id's
(07:27):
everything else. We talked about how to volunteer for everybody
out there. But we have election season and it is
time to take advantage of the opportunities in front of us.
If you are fed up, and we certainly are fed
up on this show, and we know most of you
are as well, with the decisions of Kamala and Biden,
(07:48):
then it's time to show consequences. I want Rachel Maddow
crying at eleven o'clock Eastern Buck. I want to make
this too big to rig. Want there to be big
time margins rolling in. Everybody's saying, hey, we're gonna take
a week. It's gonna take a bunch of days. How
(08:08):
amazing would it be if on election Day those of
you in New Hampshire show up and vote for Trump,
and suddenly on election Night we start to get some
results in states that people aren't even really putting on
the board, and we see, boy, Trump's gonna win. How
great would that be two Sea in Virginia for all
of you listening to us throughout Virginia. If those numbers
(08:29):
are coming in and we're seeing it's gonna be tight buck.
I think Trump is doing a big rally at Madison
Square Garden. He is also going to do a big
rally in southern California. I think the Trump team doesn't
just think they can win. I think they believe they
can win the popular vote. And look, it's two seventy.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
I was gonna say that that would be the closest
thing that Trump can get to a mandate, if there's
such a thing. I'm people always argue about what constitutes
an electoral mandate, but if he were to win the
popular vote, that would be that would be in normant
last time Republicans was a two thousand and four, is
that it's been a long time, yea, yeah, But it
(09:15):
also factors into what is happening in the big blue strongholds.
They're trending red, they're not trending red enough or you know,
trending toward more Republicans that we're gonna win them. Okay,
we're not gonna win California, We're not gonna win New York.
And we we operate in reality here. We've got to
stay in Realville, everybody, right. So we're hoping though that
(09:39):
Republicans in those states will continue the momentum because that
could be critical for some contested house races. Remember, you
want to have House control. If Donald Trump wins the election,
very likely he will win in the House as well,
but you want to run up that margin by as
much as you possibly can. And that means some of
those some of those battleground congressional disc tricks are really
(10:01):
really important. And it also makes me feel as a
still lifelong or lifetime New Yorker who is now a
Floridian clay, to see that kal Kamala's margin of victory
in New York is expected to be half what Hillary's
was and what Biden's Hillary and Biden it was like
the same. What was it twenty three percent give or
(10:23):
take a percentage.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
Twenty three points for both Hillary and Biden in sixteen
and twenty. And to your point, the numbers now well.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
Dowteen fourteen thirteen, fourteen percent. And look, I know that's
not votes, that's polls, but that's a huge drop off
that it could be important in those contested congressional races.
I'll say, Clay's there's some good news. I mean, whenever
I see a sad piece, and there's been a few
of them in the New York Times other places about
(10:51):
how Muslim American voters in Michigan just not happy with Democrats,
not happy with Kamala They got a big problem because
that voting block came out heavily for Joe Biden in
twenty twenty, and expectations are they're not going to do
the same in Michigan. The only wrinkle in this whole
plantt I just say, is white college educated voters, white
(11:16):
voters with a college degree, especially in the suburbs, are
trending more Democrat. And I'm sitting here and I that's
a whole we got to have a whole talk about that.
I don't know, I do know what's going on with them,
but they just drive me insane.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
Well, they've just succumbed, as Elon Musk would say, to
the woke mind virus. And I think that is they
just have decided they don't like Trump for temperamental reasons.
But if you look at Michigan, and we were on
the front edge of this, I have to say, and
partly I think this because I've spent enough time up
there because my wife is from Michigan, a lot of
her family is there. But they have a large Jewish population,
(11:54):
they have a large Arab population, and both of those
groups went overwhelmingly for Biden. And I think, and we'll
see when the data comes out, I think a lot
of Jewish voters are going Trump. We saw recently you
were talking about New York. Buck Jewish voters in New
York are going for Trump. So the state of New
York Jewish population, according to some polling, is going to
(12:16):
be voting for Trump. Now they have a large, you
know this, well, large Orthodox Jewish population in Manhattan in particular,
which is more conservative than let's say Beverly Hills Jewish population,
for instance. But it is I think emblematic of the
struggles that Kamala is having, and Michigan in particular has
(12:37):
to be a full on panic because if Arab voters
don't show up for Kamala in a big way, and
if Jewish voters don't show up for Kamla in a
big way, she can't win that state. And so I
know we got a big audience in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin.
You guys control this race, and not only for the
presidency but also for the Senate. I think a big
(12:57):
sign buck is the NR is pouring money in to
the Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania Senate races, feeling like not
only is Trump doing well, but all three of those
Republican Senate candidates have a good chance to win as well.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Also, just want to point out, you know, Clay has
been very much pounding the drum like the coach who
wants the team to actually win the state championship here
of go out and vote early. A part of it
that I don't think we've really addressed yet. I have
family members, by the way, just texted me, Oh, we've
already in New York, We've already voted. You know, we've
sent in our votes, right, because you can do it
there in New York. It's open and mail in ballots
(13:34):
and whatever. And here's the thing, when you tell people that, Clay's,
there's a contagion effect. Right. So the more of you
who are going to be calling in and emailing us
in the week's head saying, oh, I already put in
my vote for Trump and Pennsylvania again based on what
is allowable for the schedule in your state. But the
more of you that do that, I think, the more
(13:55):
encouraging it is to others to also jump on that train,
right is why why not? Why not get it done?
Why not go for it? I understand, I appreciate Trump
even said it is like the beautiful day. Voting day
is beautiful. It is a beautiful day. But we also
want to win, right, so make sure that we get
these votes in. We'll take some of your calls on
this also, Clay, I'm really curious for any of our
(14:18):
any of our listeners who are in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin,
because I feel like those are the We've known that
all along, that's nothing new, but they're really tight. You know,
they're spending what was it, three hundred and fifty million
dollars on media in Pennsylvania alone.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
A billion dollars, a billion dollars, and even the Guardian
over in the UK is saying, yeah, the numbers aren't
moving despite the fact that she's spent like crazy, to
your point, three hundred fifty million million dollars just in Pennsylvania.
If you live in Pennsylvania, you can't even turn the
television on, right But we're probably the radio without being
completely inundated with ads, So.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
Give us some of the atmos, so we'll prioritize any
callers coming in from Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin this hour. Look.
The Preborn Network of Clinics is a nonprofit organization that
has an incredibly worthy goal. I know we can get
all caught up in elections and things that are going
on in the news cycle, but Preborn is saving lives
day in and day out. That is their mission, and
(15:20):
that's how important what they do is they've saved the
lives of nearly three hundred thousand babies to date over
the last two decades that they've been pursuing this mission.
Today they have more people and more clinics that ever,
all located in communities. They do this intentionally where abortion
rates are some of the highest in the country. I've
been to one of these clinics. It's amazing. You go there.
(15:41):
Everyone is so kind, everyone is so helpful and understands
why they're there, wants to be there. I'm talking about
the staff. And then you have these women who will
come in and they talk to me and told me
that preborn now that they have a little three year old,
they have a little five year old running around the
office because Preborn came in, gave them an ultra and
help them. That's all it takes to save tiny babies lives.
(16:05):
Each life saving ultrasound costs just twenty eight dollars. Twenty
eight dollars. You imagine right now what that emotional connection
is between mother and child when she sees a little
heartbeat on that ultrasound. But Preborn can't do this, can't
keep saving lives without your help, the pro life community.
Please give your best gift today. Sponsor as many ultrasounds
(16:27):
as you can. Remember twenty eight dollars is an ultrasound.
All gifts are tax deductible to donate securely. Dial pound
two fifty and say the keyword baby. That's pound two fifty,
Save baby. Or go to preborn dot com slash buck.
That's preborn dot com slash Buck sponsored by Preborn.
Speaker 5 (16:47):
You ain't imagining it. The world has gone insane. Reclaim
your sanity with Clay and Funding. Find them on the
free iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Welcome back in Clay Travis buck Sexton Show. Let me
hit you with a thing that's going on as well
that I want all of you to be aware of.
They are branding today, which is October tenth as Real
Women Day x X the double X chromosome for actual women,
not men pretending to be women. And I'm speaking at
(17:24):
an event in Jackson, Tennessee today with Marsha Blackburn Buck
about saving women's sports. Riley Gains super Active. She's been
doing fabulous work. I encourage all of you to just
take the time on social media to type in not a.
Speaker 3 (17:38):
Third X, because you gotta be careful.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Then Women's Day, Double X Chromosome Day, a lot of
women speaking out for the reality of their spaces being
overtaken by men pretending to be women. So credit to
all of those individuals who are acting in such a
brave fashion, and it's crazy that we would even have
to do that. Puretalk cell phone company never going to
(18:03):
try to fool you. They're always going to be upfront
with you. Take the example of the hype around the
iPhone sixteen. They're the only cell phone provider not trying
to bundle a cell phone plan, because look, you are
going to get an iPhone sixteen if you want, but
you can also get an affordable cell phone plan with it,
not a bundle that charges your way too much. Switch
(18:23):
to pure Talk right now and you can pay just
twenty five bucks a month for unlimited talk text, five
gigs of data more than enough, plus a mobile hotspot.
From Puretalk, you can decide whether you want a new
phone or not thanks to the money that you'll be saving.
Dial pound two fifty say the keywords clay and buck.
Puretalk's a US customer service team will make switching easy,
no contracts, no activation fees. Dial pound two five zero
(18:47):
say clay and buck. You'll save an additional fifty percent
with pure Talk.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
Let's check in with somebody who doesn't think it's going
so well for Kamala right now, which should be anybody
paying attention. But of course they're Democrat who are still
I think things are looking great for Kamala. The male
feminists are all bending together to say that don't worry,
it's going to be fine. You know, I feel badly
for them, Clay. On election night, they're going to be
(19:13):
calling in their wives to tell their wives boyfriends that
the election is not going the way they want it.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
The only way you can be a male feminist is
if you've decided that the only way you can get
women is by pretending to be a male feminist. There
are some men like that. That's like ninety eight percent
of male feminists. They've decided the only way they can
get chicks. The problem is women don't actually like male feminists.
They might claim that they do, but they don't want
(19:40):
a weak version of a man in reality. But I
love these guys because they are just so pathetic. They want,
you know, more more right wing alpha bros.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
If you will, Clay, back when I was a single man,
I will tell you it wasn't that liberals, including very
far left wouldn't go on dates with me. Is that
it always devolved. So I just knew this wasn't worth it, right,
because at some point it just turns into there's that
oh my gosh moment where they ask you a question
like you don't whenever it starts this way, you're in trouble.
You don't really believe that dot dot because guess what
(20:16):
Buck does really believe? Yes, he does, and that would
always come out that's not good. Thank god I found
a wonderful right wing woman and now we're married. So
let's get to uh, James Carvill. I was talking about
James Carvill. That's what I was trying to defensive with
James Carvill.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
This guy is not a male feminist like he's actually
been willing to call out. I think he's just an
old school left winger back when that was like a
normal thing to be.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
But this is what I'm saying. The ones who were
saying it's going fine are the male feminists, like yeah,
pretend Rightville who is a Democrat and not somebody I
agree with in anything, but I think he does try
to live in reality when it comes to politics, and
he sees he's like the guy who's warning the rest
of them the train is coming this way, and we
(21:04):
are on the tracks, everybody, we better figure something out. Uh,
this is James Carvill. Listen to this.
Speaker 4 (21:08):
The only thing I feel if the election is come
in November fifth, I'm scared to death and I'll get
her time to be if you're not in a reflective mood,
not in a particular effective mood right now, very very conpired.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
What does Harris need to do with the month left?
Speaker 4 (21:22):
But seven month left, let's start. We've got twenty seven
twenty six days.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
Day is gone.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
You're gonna lose fourth at a hurricade. To just subtract that,
we're gonna get plank. I can get much out for
the next four days. So and everything kind of shuts
down the Saturday before the election. So you're really probably
under twenty days that you have to really get a
message out. They need to be shocked, they need to
be aggressive, they need to stop answering questions and start
(21:49):
asking questions.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
I don't know if his advice is any good, but
I do know that he knows that she's losings, he's
scared to death.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
I think James Carvill would not have allowed Tim Walls
to be picked. I think he would have said, this
is just me kind of extrapolating Buck, I can already
see some of the Monday morning quarterbacking that is starting
to trickle in. You and I were talking about this,
I think off air, where as she is plummeting in
(22:18):
the polls, a lot of people are looking at Tim
Walls and saying, as we told you in July, when
she picked him, Thank the Lord. She picked him because
Josh Shapiro is a really talented guy in Pennsylvania, the
state that matters the most. He's very popular there, and
they basically have sidelined Josh Shapiro because he was Jewish.
(22:40):
The reason they picked Walls Buck was because they were
worried about Michigan, and she's still losing Jewish voters and
Arab voters in Michigan. And then you add in and
I think this is going to be the ultimate takeaway,
and we got some fun audio to play for you
maybe next hour on this Buck, you add in that
there now are a lot of people saying what you
(23:00):
said before, you had to buy me a fancy stake
down in Miami. And I think you were right, but
I think they miscalculated, which is why I didn't think
Kamala would be the pick. The people who are going
to decide this election are not going to like Kamala
Harris more than Joe Biden.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
Nope, that was there was a fundamental political miscalculation that
Democrats made, which was well, as I've said. The first
one was that they did think they could push Biden through,
like they could sneak it through. They knew that you
had dementia, but they thought they could sneak it through,
and that was wrong. And then that they could just
elevate Kamala and everyone would forget what they've known about
(23:35):
Kamala Harris this whole time. I'm talking Democrats. Now, I'm
not saying like, oh, the Clay and Buck audience doesn't
like Kamla, Like put that aside. Democrat primary voters overwhelmingly
rejected her. I wishuld got team. Can you guys look
up what her actual placement was when.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
She dropped out Buck she had I mean the primary.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
I mean vis a vis the pack right, Like, where
was she yeah versus the rest of the Democrats.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
I think she was like ten or eleven. I mean
it was way to make it to Iowa. Is how
bad her campaign was. She dropped out before actual voting
even started.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
I was gonna say, we can't even ask or ascertain
what percentage of the vote she would have gotten because
she couldn't last through a vote. And that wasn't twenty
years ago, that was four years ago. And this is
my favorite thing that I've seen in a day or
two in politics here, which is the Trump campaign. Now,
if you're looking for one encapsulation of this entire thing,
(24:35):
right Clay, if you're looking for one moment that gets
it all, they are now this is cut twenty two.
They are running ads that are just clips of Kamala
with friendly interviewers. Listen to what this sounds like. Play
twenty two.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
If anything, would you have done something differently than President
Biden during the past four years?
Speaker 1 (24:58):
There is done a thing that mind in terms of
and I've been a part of most of the decisions
that have had impact. I'm Donald J. Trump and I
approved this message. I mean, I think that's real. Whether
it's real or not, it's amazing because it shows you
what's being shared all over the internet. They are at
a point now where Kamala's own words and appearances are
(25:23):
the most damaging thing for her politically. That's right.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
This is why Buck I said, as you started to
see her crumble, She's gonna crumble worse. And those of
you who are sports fans know what I'm talking about.
I've coached a few of these games where you're like, boy,
the other team's a lot better. If we can just
keep it close, run the clock, then we have a
chance to win. And then you get behind and you
(25:50):
have to throw that game plan out of the window
and you start taking a lot bigger risks and whatever
flaws you were trying to mask in the way that
you played Earth get revealed, and you, oftentimes, instead of
making the game closer, end up losing more. I think
that's the stage of the game we're in right here,
and I think carvill was right buck about. One thing
(26:13):
that I that I think Republicans are realizing in this
cycle that they didn't realize in twenty is the degree
to which we're an election season. And what I would
say for many of these different states is the reason
why right now matters so much is every state a
voting day is a snapshot of the current worldview that exists.
(26:35):
And that sounds a little bit complicated, So let me
kind of you know, whatever the status is today on October.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
Tenth, boom.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
If you vote, it's locked and loaded forever. The percentages
of it changed, Let's say in October twenty eighth, suddenly
something happens. The great example of this buck that I
think crystallized it for many people was Fetterman couldn't speak
in the in the debate against doctor Oz, but already
Democrats had gotten half their vote in before that debate
(27:04):
even happened. So whatever the change in circumstances might have been,
it doesn't crystallize in the same way because it isn't
just election day when everybody's verdict is rendered. Everybody's voting
for days and days in advance. So when Trump is
up right now, he's banking votes. This is why we
want you guys going out and voting. Whatever happens going
(27:27):
forward is not going to save Kamala.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
I also, like I said, believe that the more people
on our side do this, the more others will hear
about it and choose to follow and do it as well.
They'll say, oh, okay, you've voted, I'll vote early too. Right,
everyone's saying I'm going to vote on election day. People
get busy, people forget, they get a sick kid, something happens,
(27:51):
but if they hear oh, I can vote anytime the
next two weeks or three weeks, whatever it may be.
And also I think some people are saying, don't just
trust it into the mail, take it into a polling station.
I think very sounds. You know that there's a lot
of these places you can drop them off. If you
want to drop it off by hand yourself, go for it.
I don't think you know. I don't think the postal
(28:12):
service is opening up mail to decide who you're voting
for and getting rid of it. I will say, I
don't think that's happening. But they can lose stuff. And
if you just want to be sure you know, or
more sure, go hand it in yourself.
Speaker 3 (28:23):
You can hand it in yourself.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
Here's something else, and I wouldn't encourage it because it
will create longer lines. But if you send in your
vote early and you're desperately afraid that your vote didn't count,
go in on election day. When you check in, they
should say your ballot's already been processed. They will not
allow you to vote twice. They will have your vote
(28:45):
already processed. And so if you're terribly afraid because I
get this question. I am terribly afraid. If I vote early,
you can go in on election day. You can stand
in line, you can show them your ID, and they
should say, right then and there, sorry, ma'am, Sorry, sir,
we've already got your vote. You're not allowed to vote again.
Speaker 1 (29:03):
Does this ever happened to you when you think you've
left the stove on, left the gas on?
Speaker 6 (29:06):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (29:07):
Yeah, well I don't cook, but I have heard.
Speaker 1 (29:09):
I'm sorry, I totally forgot clay stove. We got you
a cooking show where it's just me steady there saying
Clay make and fill in the plank and see what he.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
Caught up with.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
If you can't do it with a microwave, I don't cook.
I have been in the car with my wife when
she has said, oh wait, I think I might have
left the stove on, or wait that I locked the
front door. Can we go back? I think I may
have forgotten all those things. Yes, but that is if
you're a concerned voter out there, and I understand it
(29:40):
because you probably get these emails, these messages. But that
I do, I'm they're not going to count me. Do
both if you're that afraid, do both it's pretty pretty intense.
But all right, I'm just saying if that is you,
instead of emailing me and saying, Clay, I'm afraid they're
not going to count my vote, your vote in and
(30:01):
then on election day take other people with you to
go vote who may not have voted, and you can
make sure that they have your ballot and they say no, ma'am, no, sir.
Speaker 3 (30:09):
You have already voted. Here.
Speaker 1 (30:12):
Still amazing. You just don't cook at all, do you.
This is something we never talked about. You just don't cook.
You're not you don't like it.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
I have been in my house for ten years, buck,
I do not believe that I have turned the oven
on in ten years.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
I'm not even kidding. I might have put it.
Speaker 2 (30:30):
I might have put a pizza in once or twice
if it does not go in the microwave or you
buy it like right, I bought a lot of food,
trust me, over the years. I do not cook anything
I don't like to. This is like us with the
odd couple, or this is us as the odd couple.
Because i've I was.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
Telling carriers, I'm like, I think I need to get
a new Omelet pad, and this one's not really distributing
the heat properly. For me, I'm a decent, like you know,
mid level cook who does a few things. Well, my
wife is a phenomenal cook. But yeah, no, we both
we both like, we both like to cook. That's kind
of funny. I was just reallyzed. I was like, I've
never seen Clay like, you know, getting it done at
the stove before. Now I realize that's because he's not
(31:10):
actually turned it on.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
So I don't think I've turned on the stove in
our house in a decade.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
Something else I like to do go shooting. I'll be
out there next weekend. And I'm probably a better cook
than I am a shot, but nonetheless, I like to
go shooting, and I want to make sure that I
get the most out of it. Because range time got
to schedule it where I am. It's not that he's
not that many ranges got to schedule the range got
to get out there. Ammo, Oh boy, I just bought
Ammo recently. I couldn't believe how expensive it was. So
(31:37):
there's something I can do, though, and that I do
as just my prep for range day. The Mantis X system.
Mantis X ninety four percent of users with mantis X
see improvement in their shooting within just twenty minutes of
using it. That's how effective and efficient this tool is.
Four year shooting particularly helps you with trigger pull main
(31:58):
thing you'll see when you're at the range. I do
it too, so and I've got left eye dominant, so
I shoot right handed, but I'm left eye dominant. I
know my you know Tier one. Friends tell me I
got to start shooting left handed, and I'm like, look,
I'm just a civilian. I'm trying to get as good
at this as I can. But I'll tell you. Trigger
polls the main thing that I see out there at
the range on myself and other people too. When they
(32:20):
pull the trigger you pull, you pull the handle down once.
I would rather you pull the frame down to one
side and you're off target. Once you get the mantis
X going, you realize, oh, my trigger poll is so
much smoother, And this is using technology to get you better,
so you get better and better. You hone it in
that will, that alone will make your shooting more accurate,
more efficient. You'll be amazed at how quickly you improve
(32:42):
your shooting with the mantis X system while saving a
ton of money and amal you don't want to be
throwing round. Don't throw fifty rounds into the burn. I
mean that would be a lot, but fifty rounds into
the burn before you can actually zero this thing in.
Go to mantisx dot com m A n TI s
x dot com. That's m A n t I s X.
Speaker 3 (33:01):
Sometimes all you can do is laugh.
Speaker 7 (33:04):
And they do a lot of it with the Sunday
hang Join Clay and Buck as they lap it up
in the Clay and Buck podcast feed on the iHeartRadio
app or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
Welcome back in Clay, Travis Buck Sexton Show. Appreciate all
of you hanging out with us. We got a bunch
of people want to wagh in. We're talking about the
amount of money being spent in Pennsylvania. Variety of different
Pennsylvanians want to weigh in with what they're seeing. First up,
Christy in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. I love Gettysburg Civil War history.
(33:37):
Nerd here, Christy, how is Gettysburg going to vote? What
are you seeing there?
Speaker 1 (33:44):
Oh, Adam County is very red. But what drove me
crazy and drove.
Speaker 5 (33:49):
Me to call was I've actually seen Republican pack ads
they were anti Trump.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
You mean, like the Lincoln Project, the Bulwark people are
spending money attacking Trump in your in your.
Speaker 3 (34:03):
Area, like the Pack.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
The Pack actually had Republican.
Speaker 4 (34:07):
In the name.
Speaker 1 (34:08):
I wouldn't have known otherwise. I mean, these people, this
is the this is the most right. I was gonna say,
thank you for calling in telling us about this. It
annoys anyone on the right. I think, who's paying attention.
One of the favorite games that these uh, that these
libs played, because it's different, right, you look at people,
some people on the left will will switch and they'll say,
(34:30):
you know what I'm now, Like, look at Elon Musk.
He is red pilled, he is pro Trump. Elon Musk
isn't showing up and saying, oh, like you know, the
real Democrats would vote against Kamala Harris. But I'm somewhere
in the middle. It's like, look, I've changed my convictions
because of X, Y and Z. Here we are go
with these you know, like Lincoln Project, MSNBC appearing, uh,
(34:53):
you know whatever, those republic Morning. I guess Joe Scarbo's
technically an independent now. I mean, the guys whatever the
MSMEC bosses pay them to say. But what they are,
Clay is dishonest and inherently because they're Democrats. If you're
voting for a Democrat, you're a Democrat. Okay, especially in
this election, there's not some like, oh, I'm the real Republican,
(35:14):
so I want the Democrats to win, And that's just
you're just playing into the other side. You're just being
an apostate, no doubt.
Speaker 2 (35:22):
And then I think that these people are truly banking
massive amounts of money and they're never coming back. So
if they just say they change their mind, I would
be fine with it. But oh, we're the true Republicans
and we could never support Trump. I mean, it's just bs.
Speaker 3 (35:38):
Sherry in suburban Pittsburgh, Sherry. What do you see?
Speaker 6 (35:43):
So I sit that demographic of a white college educated
woman living in the suburbs, and I can tell you
my neighborhood. There are ten hair assigns to every Trump
sign and you have trying to have a conversation with
the neighbor which I did down. I just said, are
you better off now than you were three years ago?
(36:04):
I said, what about inflation? Trump's fault? What about immigration,
Trump's fault? What about abortions? At eight months doesn't happen.
It's a bridge too far. These people are I don't
care how many degrees they have. They cannot give you
a rational explanation other than she's not Trump, and it
drives me crazy.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
Well, I can tell you what. By the way, excellent call,
Thank you so much, appreciate you, Claire. I would just
say this, we think of college educated, it's very broad category.
Most colleges now most colleges and certainly a vast majority
of the students going to college are much more indoctrinated
than they are educated.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
If you are saying, as Sherry just said, all of
those things, you're not a Kamala voter.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
You're in an anti Trump cult.
