Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome in.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
What a crazy month July was. We are now on
to August, and I do not believe the insanity is
going to stop anytime soon. We have got a lot
to dive into with all of you. I am here solo.
Buck will be back tomorrow. He has taken care of
some things, and I had to take care of some

(00:24):
things yesterday.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
But we will be back together very soon. Here.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
But I want to dive into a bunch of different
stories right off the top and give you an idea
of where we are headed. Number one story trending right
now in America. I don't know how many of you
saw this, but in the Olympics, a man who identifies
as a woman, a man who was not allowed to
compete as a boxer in other boxing competitions, was permitted

(00:54):
to box in the Olympics in Paris, and early this
morning he fought against a woman from at Italy. And
this is absolutely unbelievable. It crystallizes, I think so many
of the lies of the left that are going on

(01:18):
right now, and in particular it's a time for choosing.
We're going to be talking with Riley Gains here in
a few minutes. I think Riley has been incredibly brave
talking about this issue. And I understand some of you
may not have gotten really kind of fired up about
this because maybe it hasn't been at the top of
your mind. But I've been on this for a while,

(01:40):
and what we saw in the Olympics, I think demonstrates
what happens when you deny biological reality and when you
allow lies falsehoods to be accepted as truth. There are
all different sorts of opinions out there that you guys
could have about what the tax rate should be, what

(02:02):
is the appropriate corporate tax rate, what should we do
with tariffs on steel, how should we handle Chinese piracy
of our goods, what should we do in Ukraine? What
exactly is the appropriate decision to make when it comes
to nonviolent drug related charges in the criminal justice system.

(02:26):
These are things that many people of reasonable backgrounds and
varieties can all sit around in debate. A man pretending
to be a woman and winning a women's championship and
being allowed to go into a women's locker room with
male genitalia and pretend that somehow he is actually a woman.

(02:50):
At some point inclusion becomes exclusion, and Riley Gaines spoke
out bravely about this, and I want you to hear
what it sounded like from Riley when she had to
swim against a man. But we got audio here. This

(03:11):
is a former Women's Olympic gold medal boxer Claressa Shields
saying the Olympics screwed it up.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Here listen to cut one.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
The Olympus definitely dropped the ball, you know, and listen.
I don't have anything against transgender women or transgender men.
All I'm saying is that me and should fight against men,
women should fight against women, and transgender should fight against transgenders.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
That is how I feel.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
I will stand with that.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
I'm not homophobic or anything like that, or against the
gay community, but that's not right.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
This also brings to bear the South Park episode, and
we've talked about this quite a lot. South Park created
a macho man, Randy Savage character who claimed that he
was a woman and would go out and beat up
women and claim women's championships in all women's sports out there.

(04:09):
They did it to satirize the absurdity of the left's
claim that men are women. Every single day becomes more
of a reality. And I want to play this for
you as well, this is cut to miss Swanson.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
How does it feel to be competing today?

Speaker 5 (04:24):
I can't tell you how free I feel now that
I've started identifying as a woman, Now that I can
compete his female, I'm ready to smash the other girls.
And is it correct you just started identifying as female
two weeks ago. I'm not here to talk about my transition.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
I'm here to kick them.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
Let me tell you something, Dingleberry.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
David Perry.

Speaker 5 (04:48):
I'm gonna rule up the other women here.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
I'm gonna smoke them.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
The am the strongest woman this state is ever seed.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
That's playing for laughs. It has now become a reality.
This is also particularly apropos in some ways that it
would become a major story today because today represents the
rewriting by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris of the definition
of women for purposes of Title nine. We've talked about

(05:21):
this a lot on this program. We had Betsy Devas,
Trump's former education secretary, who fought against this. For those
of you who are not aware, Title nine under Biden
Harris administration policies now is defined based on gender identity,
not based on biology. That means many different institutions across

(05:46):
the country now are in danger of violating federal law
if they don't allow men pretending to be women to
compete in women's athletics.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
I think this is such.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
An incredibly important issue again because it crystallizes the lies
that we are being told right now. Democrats are trying
to say Donald Trump and JD. Vance are weird. Meanwhile
they believe that men should be able to beat up
women and become women's boxing champions. And what you saw

(06:20):
that video that has begun to go viral on a
level that frankly I haven't hardly ever seen, has now
been viewed thirty four million different times. I just checked
right before I went live of this man beating this
woman to such an extent that she was taking punches
and she felt compelled the woman did to take a

(06:43):
knee and in the boxing match, because she knows what
it's like. She's an Olympic boxer. She knows what it's
like to feel a punch from a woman. And she said,
and we're not going to play you the audio because
she's Italian, but you can read the transcript for yourself.
You will put it up on clayanbuck dot com. She
knows what it feels like to be punched by a

(07:05):
woman and being punched by a man felt very different.
This is where democrats would lead you. This is where
Kamala Harris would lead you to a world where men
who want to identify as women aren't just presumed to
be women, which is a lie, but they are allowed

(07:27):
to actually compete for gold medals and beat up women
as well. Again, this individual was not allowed to compete
because of biology. The Olympics allowed it, and now we
are seeing what the result is. This is not just

(07:49):
a political issue.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
JK.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Rowling, Harry Potter, author has been weighing in in a
significant fashion.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Jake paul elon Musk.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
People that ordinarily are not weighing in on women's sports
on a regular basis are looking at this video and
saying what I think the vast majority of you all believe,
which is this is crazy.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
This is unacceptable.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
This is a sign of what happens when you allow
biological reality and biological truth to be questioned. And again
this is important you question biology here. There are no
women who identify as men that can even make a
boys by and large or men's athletic team. Men are bigger, stronger,

(08:40):
and faster than women. It is a time for choosing
and honesty in life, and this is a crucible moment.
I believe when we come back, we're going to be
joined by Riley Gaines, who I think has spoken out
courageously on this issue since she had to swim against
a man in the NCAA Championships, a man whose name
is in the record books, Leah Thomas, huge six foot

(09:03):
four man who decided to identify as a woman and
won an NCAA championship. People say, oh, this doesn't happen
very often. Boy, it sure seems to be happening more
and more, doesn't it. Your daughters or your granddaughters as
this continues, are going to have to compete against men
in athletics. It is a symptom of the sickness that

(09:25):
has taken over this country. We'll talk with Riley Gaines
when we come back about all of this. In the meantime,
Jerry Paget enlisted in the US Navy, wanting to defend
our freedoms and represent our nation in combat. He deployed
multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan, taking on direct battle.
While on patrol, Jerry was injured in an improvised explosive

(09:47):
device blast. He suffered severe injuries to his spinal cord
and brain, leaving him to recover and live with both
audio and visual impairments. Nothing can reverse the damage done
to Jerry's body, but through the Tunnel to Towers Foundation,
we can honor heroes like Jerry and gratitude for their
tremendous sacrifices. We understand the price of freedom. We can
choose to honor those who fight for it. Thanks to

(10:09):
friends like you, Jerry and his family moved into a
new smart home at the Tunnel to Tower Foundations Village
in Florida, where he can live independently thanks to adaptive technologies.
Your donation today and each month can change the lives
of those who so selflessly sacrifice for our communities and
our country. Join Buck and me in donating eleven dollars

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Welcome back in Clay Travis Buck Sexton Show. We are
joined now by Riley Gaines, I just started off the
program talking about a man beating up a woman in
the Olympics. You swam against a man who is now
in the record books as an NCAA champion women's athletics.
When you woke up this morning and you saw what
happened in Paris, what was your first reaction, Riley?

Speaker 7 (11:07):
You know what, Clay, First of all, it's great to
be on with you, and I'll tell you my reaction
was probably different than a lot of people's reaction. I
bet a lot of people woke up, they saw the
news and they thought to themselves.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
This is unbelievable.

Speaker 7 (11:20):
How did we get here? I did not have those thoughts,
because this was entirely believable. This is what I predicted
what happened. Actually, because we have cowards at the IOC.
It's the same people, essentially, the same cowardice that we
see at the NCAA level either week. Need morally bankrupt,
spineless cowards who don't care. They don't care if women

(11:42):
are injured, they don't care if it will take a
fatal injury to prove the point that they are being virtuous,
they are being inclusive. So I wasn't shocked. It's of
course heartbreaking. It's tragic that this is the reality that
we are left to deal with that at one point
would be considered like a satirical South Park episode, but no,

(12:05):
now it's real life. So heartbreaking, but not surprising for
people out.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
There who are wondering about whether this could happen to
their daughters, their granddaughters, to the different competitions. This also
comes on the day that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris
are rewriting Title nine to encompass gender identity as opposed
to biology when it comes to how women are treated
under sports and beyond. Kind of take us into that world,

(12:33):
if you would, and how this timing is particularly interesting
given that reality.

Speaker 7 (12:39):
No, yeah, you're exactly right. Today is August first. It
is the day that the new illegal administrative rewrite from
the Biden Harris administration of Title nine goes into effect.
Title nine, of course, is the It was historically the
civil rights law that prevented sex based discrimination on any
education program that receives federal funding, and acted fifty two

(13:03):
years ago. Of course, I mean a really short piece
of legislation, only thirty seven words in its original implementation,
did a lot of things, but most notably allowed for
equal opportunity in sports. But now what we have seen is.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
We may have just lost, just lost. Riley gains there
for a moment. We'll see if we can get her back.
What she's laying out is really important because some people
will say, as they continue to say, oh, this doesn't
really happen. I don't know why you're focused on this.
There's a tiny number of these cases. Well, as I said,
for Riley, she would otherwise have gone to dental school

(13:45):
and pursued that as an educational opportunity if she hadn't
found herself at the NCAA Championships swimming against a man.
And that's how she felt compelled to speak out to
how broken this system has become. And when you see
it happening in the Olympics, and when we continue to
see this happen at so many different places. Riley, you

(14:08):
were just laying out for us. This isn't something that's
in a barent result. Now it's happening in every state,
in what feels like every school district.

Speaker 7 (14:18):
No, you're exactly right, it is. It's happening every state,
every level, every division, every sport. As I was saying
before I accidentally lost you. The Biden Harris administration has
the rewritten title line. They took the original thirty seven words,
created a new proposal that's now almost half a million words.
That should tell you everything that you need to know.
But in short, they have equated sex with gender identity,

(14:42):
ultimately abolishing sex based protection, sex based rights as we
once knew it, as we've known it for the past
half a century now, and in the process, I mean,
the implications of this are severe. It means men could
take academic and athletic scholarships from women. It means and
have full access to bathrooms, locker rooms, changing spaces. It

(15:03):
means men can be housing dorm rooms with women. It
means your speech would be compelled. So now if you
a professor, or a student, or a coach, or even
a local YMCA employee, it applies to the YMCA as well.
If you don't use the biologically incorrect pronouns, but the
preferred pronouns, then you would be guilty in charge with

(15:25):
sexual harassment. So that's what Kamala Harris, that's what Joe Biden,
who's been missing for days, that's the message that they
are sending. Not only are they allowing this or they
tolerating it, No, they are encouraging it, They're celebrating it,
and they are punishing you if you even dare to
question their motives or dare to question someone's identity.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
This is also, I think, really important, and it requires
somewhat a graphic detail here, but I can't get over this.
Men are allowed to go into women's locker rooms even
if they are still biologically male, and use women's locker
rooms under many of these new guidelines. You experience this.

(16:09):
I think there are lots of people out there that
their mind is just blowing up when they hear these details.
We're talking about teenage girls being forced to change in
locker rooms with teenage boys who are boys just pretending
to be girls.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
That's what this is requiring.

Speaker 7 (16:24):
Yeah, I think you know, anyone with any amount of
brain activity can see the unfair competition side of things
and see how that's wrong. But what I don't think
you could possibly understand is the feeling of being in
a locker room right, especially I mean in our case
as Division one summer is being in a swimming locker room,

(16:45):
which is not a place of modesty. Putting on your
suit that's skin tied, it's paper thin. It takes about
fifteen twenty minutes to really poke and prod yourself into
the suit, fifteen to twenty minutes of which you're fully exposed.
You can't even sathom the feelings of turning around, full
naked yourself and seeing a six foot four man, twenty
two year old man, fully naked, fully intact fully exposing

(17:08):
himself again inches away from where you were simultaneously fully undressed.
I mean, it's, of course, it's awkward, it's embarrassing, it's uncomfortable.
It was innate, inherent for every girl in that changing
space to cover themselves, whether it was with their hands
or their clothes or their towels, and to get out
of the locker room as quickly as they could. But
I mean, I think the best way to describe how

(17:30):
we felt it's an utter violation. It felt like betrayal,
and it was traumatic, and not even necessarily traumatic because
of what we were forced to see or how we
were forcibly and non consensually exploited. It was traumatic for
me to know just how easy it was for those
people who created these policies to totally dismiss our right suprivacy,

(17:51):
not even a second thought, without even bare minimum forewarning
us that we would be sharing this locker room.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
We only have thirty seconds left. Thanks for all your
courage and bravery and speaking out Riley quickly here. What
would you ask women, moms, grandmas to be doing? Because
men are fired up about this, but I think this
is a women's issue, that women have to take control
of what needs to happen.

Speaker 7 (18:13):
Do exactly what the Italian boxer did today. If you're
competing against the man, don't get in the ring, don't fight.
And what we can all do is vote. If you
are a woman, It's how in the world could you
vote for a party who can even define what a
woman is?

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Amen, Riley Gains, thank you so much for the work
you do. Check her out on Twitter, check her out
her show at OutKick. We'll be back. Thank you for
all hanging out with us. This is an outrage.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
We got to call it out.

Speaker 6 (18:39):
Clay Travis and buck Sexton on the front lines of truth.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
Welcome back in Clay Travis, buck Sexton show man.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
I got to just be honest with you.

Speaker 2 (18:51):
I'm so glad that Riley Gains works with us at OutKick.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
She's twenty three. She may have just turned twenty four.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
Swimming at the University of Kentucky didn't ask for any
of this. So many female athletes out there have kept
their mouths shut.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
So many coaches.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
Dawn Staley University of South Carolina actually said, if you're
a man but you identify as a woman, you should
be able to compete in women's basketball. We asked at
OutKick the other fifteen Sweet sixteen women's coaches, do you

(19:34):
think that men who identify as women should be able
to compete in women's basketball?

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Not one of them would respond to the question. Think
about that the OutKick site.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
Which is like the only site in America that will
point out how absurd this is. Nobody else will even
cover it. Is NBC News even gonna talk about that
this Like I go into ESPN's top news stories right now.
Man beating a woman up in the Olympics and getting
her to quit is not one of their lead stories.

(20:12):
They got a bunch of other Olympics stories that seems
like kind of a big story. Look, this is what happens,
And this is one way that I ended up doing
this show with Buck. I saw how they used sports
to infiltrate their worldview and spread falsehood and not allow

(20:35):
you to even know what was going on. Even worse,
to tell you this is a good thing, you know.
That's how these stories work.

Speaker 6 (20:44):
Right.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
The first thing they say is why do you care?
Why do you care? Why do you care about? This
is how they'll respond. This is what I've seen for
years when I've pointed things like this out, and my
response would be, well, you know, I just took my
son last year up to play in Cooperstown, New York
Little League Baseball. We had to take the actual copy

(21:08):
of his birth certificate because it's twelve you and if
you're thirteen, you're not eligible, and if you're fourteen, you're
not eligible. And I had to have an actual physical
copy of the birth certificate, which I lost. Go figure,
did not make his mom happy, but I lost it
after we had turned it in to make sure that
he was eligible. If someone showed up at a twelve

(21:31):
year old baseball stadium field with a sixteen year old,
every single parent would say, that's not right, this is unacceptable.
In fact, it happened. Some of you will remember in
New York. Everyone would stand up and say that violates
basic parameters of fairness sports. Best man or best woman

(21:55):
is supposed to win, not the best man pretending to
be a woman.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Cover it.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
The first thing they say is why do you care? Well,
I care because the foundation of sports is that there
should be equal treatment of all participants. Somebody doesn't get
a strike zone that goes all the way up to
the head and all the way down to the feet,
and somebody else in baseball gets a strike zone that
only goes from the belt to the knee. The entire

(22:23):
goal of sport is to create even and equal opportunities
for all. And again, the best man are the best
woman to win.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
So I care.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Because when you cheat the sport, you create dishonesty. So
I would start to talk out about this, and then
the next step was, well, they move from why do
you care? To well it doesn't happen very often. Well,
this doesn't happen very often. I don't know why you care. Okay,

(22:51):
watch where the pivot's gonna come. They're going to try
to move to Okay, sure it's happening, and it's a
good thing. You should be able to claim that you're
any gender that you want to be. Suck it up, girls.
So what if a six foot four guy is a
women swimming champion after he swam for men's teams for

(23:15):
years and years and you busted your ass and got
up every morning at five am and trained as hard
as you can. So what suck it up, buttercup, that's
where it's coming. It's a good thing women. To me,
this is a I'm not a single issue voter, but

(23:37):
when the issue is basic truth, they're saying that doctors
get baby sex is wrong when they are born now
in the hospital. This is Democrat Party orthodoxy. I'm fortunate
to have been three times in the room when my

(23:58):
sons were born. Doctors don't get them with the sex
of a baby wrong. If they can get you to
admit basic truth and replace it that truth with falsehood,

(24:19):
then they can get you to say anything. That's what
this is about. Riley Gains is brave and courageous for
speaking out, but she's in the minority. A lot of
people out there are not willing to point out. I

(24:40):
think the fact that this is happening on this day,
August first, where the Biden Harris administration Kamala is running on,
men should be able to kick women's asses in sports.
That is a foundational tenet of the Democrat Party. I
don't believe other than ma maybe John Fetterman, I don't

(25:02):
know that any Democrat in the Senate or a governor,
or certainly anybody who's running for president. I don't think
any of them. RFK Junior has said it, but he's
now an independent. I don't think any national Democrat has said, yeah,
this is wrong. How is this not a crucible issue

(25:25):
for many of you out there? And I want you
to think about this in the context of oh, all
the attention that went to JD Vance for saying, hey,
it's childless cat ladies on a joke on the Tucker
Carlson Show three years ago, think about how the media
covered that. What's a bigger story JD Van's joking about
childless cat ladies or actual men beating the crap out

(25:48):
of women in the Olympics, as well as in the
NCAA and Kamala Harris saying yeah, this is good, this
should happen. Bravo for them. This is what Democrat Party
orthodoxy is. That's kind of significant, or even if you
don't want to put it in the context of sports
Kamala Harris believes that miners should be able to get

(26:09):
their genitals chopped off because they feel like they're a
different gender. What's a bigger issue that or jd Vance saying, Hey,
the childless cat leyes. Think about how that's been covered
and think about how you're being manipulated.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
This is a big story.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
ESPN's not covering it, to my knowledge, and you can
email the show. NBC News hasn't had some big panel
discussion about it. Every year when there's the soccer in Katar,

(26:45):
everybody gets really fired up. Hey, are you going to
address how Middle Eastern countries don't treat people fairly? That
has to be a huge part of your sports coverage.
We just saw a woman get beaten up by a man.
Is NBC News going to talk about it? NBC Sport's
gonna cover it at all? That's who's got the Olympics.
By the way, we got all sorts of opinions in

(27:07):
the world of sports. Everybody debates everything. ESPN's pretending it
didn't happen. The only place that'll cover it's OutKick. Jd
Vance makes a childless cat lady joke. Everybody has to
react to it. It's not happening here. We got a
bunch of calls eight hundred and two two eight a
two prisoner release. I'll update you on the latest there

(27:28):
good news at least there. We're gonna talk about Trump
at the NABJ. We've got audio to play for that.
Where in the world is Kamala. We got a nine
to eleven plea deal going on where the masterminds of
the nine to eleven terror attack are not going to
be put to death. All that and more will continue
to discuss throughout the course of the show. By the way,
Buck will.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
Be back tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
He's taking care of some things today, but we'll be
back together very shortly. In the meantime, I want to
tell you Israeli citizens, you guys know this, under high
al are regarding another assault on one or more of
their cities. Conflict in the part of the world since
October seventh. Now it's spread to the north with Hesbola,

(28:09):
all sorts of issues going on. In fact, as we're
doing this show, we are simultaneously trying to figure out
whether we're going to travel to Israel tomorrow. Because of
all the chaos that's going on over there. Flights are
being canceled, people are getting stranded. We're dealing with this
as a show on a very small level compared to
what the people of Israel deal with every single day.

(28:31):
What the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews does is
there at the forefront of addressing all of the issues
that are going on in Israel right now. They are
doing so much to bring together the Israeli and the
Christian communities, the Jewish and the Christian communities to stand
up for good against evil. If you have the ability,

Welcome back in Clay Travis Bucks Sexton Show. Appreciate all
of you hanging out with us as we are rolling
through this program. I'm going to take couple of your
calls here in a moment, but I want to tell
you cell phone bills can be pricey, particularly if you've
been bumped up to an unlimited data plan. Fifty dollars
or more in savings every month. You could get it
to switch if you make the switch to Puretalk cell

(30:18):
phone company. My family relies on Verizon AT and T Mobile.
Want you to believe you need unlimited data, but the
reality is you oftentimes are paying far more than what
you need. For just twenty five bucks a month, with Puretalk,
unlimited talk text, five gigs of data plus a mobile hotspot.
Five gigs of data enough to browse the Internet for
one hundred and thirty five hours a month, four plus

(30:41):
hours every day of that month. With Puretalk, you're on
America's most dependable five g network. Dial pound two point fifty,
say Clay and Buck, and you'll say fifty percent off
your first month. Again, that's pound two five zero say
Clay and Buck to start saving now on your self
phone plan. Many of you want to weigh in. Not surprisingly,

(31:04):
let's go ahead and take some of those calls. Will
fill you in on the prisoner swap here in a
moment at the top of the next hour. But Amber
in Alabama, what's you got for us?

Speaker 8 (31:16):
Hey and roll tide from the great state of Alabama.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
Clay, Thank you, Amber.

Speaker 8 (31:21):
First of all, thank you for talking about this issue
with men and women's sports. It is horrific. First of all,
we all know that men hold the rain in all
of the sports world. Men are failing women. The ads,
the coaches, the managers, ESPN, all of them. No one

(31:43):
is standing up for women in sports, and we need
y'all's help. Y'all hold the reins. Men control it all.
We know that women can only do so much. We
need men to stand up. Men are failing us.

Speaker 1 (31:59):
Thank you for the call. Amber.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
I appreciate that I actually think men overwhelmingly think this
is I'm trying to avoid cursing, absolutely bonkers. I don't
think there is a man listening to me right now
that believes that a man should be able to compete
against a woman in women's athletics.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Not one.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
There are millions of men listening right now. I don't
think there's a single one out there listening. I think
for men this is a ninety ten issue. I think
women are being taken advantage of because men are more
likely to just say, Nah, that's ridiculous, I'm done with it.
Think about what happened with bud Light. Most people who

(32:40):
drink bud Light are men. Bud Light tried to put
a dude pretending to be a girl to advertise bud
Light for March Madness, and bud Light basically ceased to
exist as a brand that makes money, lost thirty percent
of its business. Still can't sell bud Light anywhere because
men just said, yeah.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
We're with this.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
I actually I was hanging out this weekend or I
guess it was on what day was it? When we
were just down in Florida doing an event. Lisa Booth
came up to me. I was holding a beer. You
know how when you're at an event, they'll give you
a beer bottle and then they'll give you like a
napkin so you can hold it in your hand. If
you don't get it in a glass, I like to

(33:21):
get the bottle. And she walked up and she said,
you're drinking a bud Light.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
Just to come after me.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
She's funny because the bud Light brand is so toxic
for men that we wouldn't even think of drinking it.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
Buying lars.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
I did this a while back, where they were giving
away beer. The last one to go is bud Light.
You go to a college football tailgate, guys will do
anything not to be seen holding a bud Light for
that reason. Men just think it's ridiculous. And if you're
a woman who decides to identify as a man, you're
not winning men's championships. You're not man of the year

(34:00):
being taken advantage of here because you're seen as a sex,
as more kind, as more welcoming, as more generous, as
more nurturing, such that men decide their women and they
immediately get named women of the year. I mean, this
is absolutely bonkers. So I think women have to I

(34:22):
appreciate the fact that men have to get involved. I
got involved. I said, this is just bs. I think
a lot of men out there listening, especially if you
have daughters or granddaughters that you're involved in their athletic
career or coaching. You think this is crazy. Roxanne in Colorado,
you want to weigh in as well.

Speaker 4 (34:41):
Thank you and shaking my call than trying to get
on for years. Loved Rush, Love.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
You guys, Appreciate you.

Speaker 4 (34:46):
Coach. I've played. My mother started her basketball team in
nineteen forty four and og DENIALA And I'll tell you what.
This is a war on women. It's also a war
on single women. They're taken away our scholarship. How do
we how do single women feed their kids with the
price of inflation. I've never I can't believe this people

(35:08):
women would vote for this party. No longer a Democrat,
never voting that way again. And I think all Iowa
has changed too.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
You voted Democrat in the past, Rocksanne, What you voted
Democrat in the past in your life?

Speaker 8 (35:25):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (35:25):
Yes, well, actually I voted for Reagan the first time time,
but I did vote for a peanut farmer. That was
a big mistake.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
And thank you, thank you for the call. Because we're
coming up on the end of the hour.

Speaker 2 (35:38):
I think women have to stand up, and now I
appreciate the fact that men do too. I give credit
to Riley Gaines because I think ultimately this is a
battle that women have to win. But I just want
all of you to think about this. You may have daughters,
you may have granddaughters.

Speaker 1 (35:50):
They may have sent you.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Hey, look at what JD. Van said about cat women.
Everything else. What's more significant?

Speaker 1 (35:57):
JD.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
Van's joke about childless cat women that got treated as
a major story for a week, or a woman getting
the crap beat out of her by a man and
Democrats arguing that that should be happening everywhere all over
the country, in all women's sports. What's a more significant

(36:18):
story in terms of its impact on women. I would
submit to you that what just happened in the Olympics
is far more significant because it's going to happen to
your daughters or your granddaughters all over the country. If
Kamala Harris gets her way, we come back. Trump goes
and talks to the National Association of Black Journalists.

Speaker 1 (36:35):
What do we think about it? What do we learn?
I'll discuss it next
