Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, second hour, Clay and Buckett's going right now.
We've got our friend Jesse Kelly joining us at the bottom.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
It is likely he will dive into news of the
day and tell us how awesome he is.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
There's a high chance that he will explain his greatness
to us here.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
On the show. We look forward to talking to our
good friend mister Jesse.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
He is taller than Chewbacca and has the ego to match.
We're excited to have him on the program. Some interesting
things coming out right now, Clay. It is I feel
like the Trump era, especially midday when we're on East
Coast time, it's just one long breaking news taker all
(00:40):
the time. With what's going on with this White House.
It has just been NonStop. I'm gonna get more details
on this, but it looks that there. It looks to
be that there is a federal judge that just came
out with a ruling that Trump can withhold some funding
without needing prior approval. This is a district court judge. Team,
get me some details on this. I'm just seeing this
(01:01):
on Fox. The judge says some authority to limit funds.
It's just beginning to percolate out. So that Clay, This
is going to the center of the doge fight, which is,
if the people running the agencies don't run the agencies,
and if the executive branch doesn't have discretion over discretionary spending,
what the heck are we doing here? I mean, that's
(01:22):
really what this is for seeing. What would you say
you do here, executive branch, Yes, no doubt, And I
think what you're going to see, and this is the
lawyer laying it out, is, in general, Democrat appointed judges
are going to limit Trump's authority and Republican appointed judges
(01:43):
are going to grant Trump the authority. And what ultimately
is going to be the determining factor here, Buck, is
what the Supreme Court says. And you and I nailed
a lot of this because remember when Colorado took Trump
off the ballot. Everybody kind of forgets that that happened,
and I had to say he wasn't eligible to run
for president of the United States, and all these left
(02:04):
wing legal scholars lined up and said, well, based on
the language in the you know, I think it was
the sixteenth Amendment they were trying to cite, Oh, he's
not eligible because he led an insurrection and then the
Supreme Court said nine to oh, yeah, Colorado's got to
put his name on the ballot. And then remember when
all the Supreme Court, all of the legal experts told
(02:24):
you that Trump's challenges of the Jack Smith case in
federal law relating to presidential powers was doomed to fail.
And then the presidential powers ruling came out and it
actually drastically expanded our understanding of presidential powers and Trump won.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Again. My point on this is.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
There are lots of people out there that are paid
to go on MSNBC and CNN and tell you, oh,
we're in the midst of a constitutional crisis. We've never
seen anything like this before. And then ultimately, the courts,
to a large extent, I believe, are going to come
out and say what Trump is doing as well within
the scope of his executive authority, and everybody that tried
(03:03):
to claim that it.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
Was not is going to look like a moron.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
But most of their followers are not going to care
because they don't care about the truth.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
They want to hear what they want to hear.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
And one more little bit on this, I'm sorry when
Joe Biden we talked about this on the program regularly
would come out and say things like, I know I
don't have the constitutional ability to do this, but I'm
going to do it anyway, and I'm going to make
the Supreme Court strike it down. Whether it was on
vaccine mandate, so, whether it was on student loans, whether
(03:33):
it was on FEMA, and whether they could maintain sort
of the housing emergency rules. I'm not sure anybody got
struck down more often trying to take authority that he
did not have than Joe Biden. So maybe Barack Obama.
Actually I think Barack Obama maybe lost eleven or thirteen
times on overreach of power when he was president at
the Supreme Court, so he did things, remember pen and
(03:55):
a phone. He had a pen and a phone, and
we had a constitution. That turned out the constitution was
more important. But on the Doge issues, this stuff is
absolutely critical. And also I thought this was really interesting.
I think there's a part of the Democrats that realize
is if they don't stop this and Doge and Trump
(04:17):
and Elon do it, and we see the benefits of it,
then they really have big problems right now. And Elon
tweeted this out just in the last hour. I guess
posted it on x. As it becomes clear that Doge
is working, you will see long term Treasury bill yields fall.
All Americans will benefit from lower interest payments on mortgages,
(04:41):
small business, credit card, and other loans. If what they're
doing is allowed to see its conclusion or be taken
to its conclusion, Clay and the benefits become apparent in people.
Because that's something that everybody will see. Everybody will know
all of a sudden, your interest payments are going down
because they're bringing the finances in line, they're cleaning house,
(05:04):
they're doing what is necessary. Then you'll have to say, well,
why were Democrats opposed to this again? Because they want
the federal government lighting money on fire at that's your money.
I mean, this is our money, This is our productivity
as represented through dollars as a medium of exchange. This
is your time, your effort that they are lighting on fire.
(05:25):
You just reference what I think really goes to the
heart of it. It's cut eight this. I just want
you to turn your partisan thoughts off for a moment,
and I just want you to think about the fact
that Elon Musk is the most successful living American capitalist
that is no one has built bigger businesses and employed
more people and had more success in his life than
(05:48):
Elon Musk. This is him kind of getting to the
essence of what Buck just said yesterday in the Oval Office.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Cut eight.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
Listen a bunch of the two ingredients that are really
necessary in order to cut the budget deficient in half
from two trillion to one trillion. And it's really two things,
competence and caring. And if you add competence and caring,
you'll cut the budget depth cit in half. And I
fully expect to be scrutinized and get you a daily
(06:16):
proctology exam basically my soar's camp out there. So it's
not like I think I can get away with something.
I'll be scrutinized non stop. But with support of the President,
we can we can cut the budget deficit in half
from two.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Trillion to one Okay, And then he continued there Buck,
and I thought this was really well said. He laid
out the math, big picture. He said, we have to
cut the budget deficit from two trillion a year one
and we're going to talk with Ron Johnson, Senator from
Wisconsin about his plan to do just that. I believe
tomorrow on the program, Buck cut the budget deficit in half,
(06:50):
and then he said economic growth can cover the other half,
because if we get the economy growing at three three
and a half four percent, the overall tax revenues increase
substantially and then the budget is balanced. So it actually
is a very rational, realistic look at how to potentially
(07:13):
balance the federal budget. And then to your point, this
is so key, Why does that matter to you and
me and every American? Because right now we got inflation
numbers that were not great earlier today, Right now, despite
interest rates being cut, we're still all paying seven percent
on a thirty year mortgage. We're still paying twenty some
odd percent on credit card debt. And for housing, it's
(07:36):
really the bond market. It's really the treasury bills that
are being sold that auction and whether people want them,
and what the rates on those, this is what determines
how much you have to pay for access to money.
Now they've dropped the Fed has dropped the rate a
few times, as we know, and you try to get
a home loan right now and rates are still are
(07:58):
still high, certainly much higher than they were, and Elon.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Is talking about it.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
This is just when you take a step back lay
you think about it, because these journalists are all.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
Like, but what about having the proper training for access
to the treasury, And but how can we trust big balls.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
She's only nineteen and you know all this stuff that
they're doing. They're freaking out about we It's like we've
brought in Michael Jordan in his prime to teach the
federal government how to play basketball.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Like it's you could not have somebody good.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
You know, you couldn't have somebody who is better at this.
What is the problem on the balance sheet? What is
the corporate structural issue that is creating all of this fluff,
this waste, this garbage that's coming out, And we have
the best guy.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
I mean, if I could.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
Like in a dream draft situation for the federal government,
who would I want to be doing this job of
looking at fraud, waste and abuse in the government.
Speaker 5 (08:56):
It's Elon Musk.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
It's Elon Musk.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
I mean, there are a few others who would probably
be very good at it, but Elon is the absolute
best man for the job, arguably on the planet, I
think probably on the planet.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
And you have journals, you know.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Who are are lucky to be getting whatever they're getting
from Politico courtesy and part of the taxpayers with their
political subscription subsidies, asking him like, well, why do you
think you you know, what gives you the right and
why should you be able to do this? Do they
want the fraud to continue? I mean, this is what
we're forced to ask, and the answer is yes. By
the way, a lot of them do. A lot of
them want the government to be this spoil system. A
(09:32):
lot of Democrats, they are the party of the state,
the big s state. They want this to be a
trough for all of their little favorite piggies to feed at.
And when Elon's coming over and saying no more piggies
at the trough, they get very upset because they know
that Conservatives now, I know, they are beltweg bandits and
they're you know, big government industrial military contractors and everything.
(09:54):
But overall, when you're talking about the NGO industrial complex, Clay,
these are left wing interest groups being funded through carve
outs and cutouts by the taxpayer, and as that stops,
they have big problems on their hands. I also think
this is why Trump is having such tremendous success with
his approval ratings right now on a level that he's
(10:17):
never had before, because he's actually forcing Democrats to defend
things that are very unpopular with the average person in America.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
You think the average person in America.
Speaker 1 (10:29):
Thinks that that Elon Musk is a threat for going
after fraud, abuse and waste.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
No, they're overwhelmingly supportive of that.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
Do you think the average American thinks that men should
be able to win women's championships?
Speaker 2 (10:42):
No, of course not.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Democrats have become the Party of insanity and Trump is
the Party of common sense. And by the way, we
should mention RFK Junior has also cleared the first procedural
hurdle for his We were talking about that earlier. He's
going to be confirmed to so it may well happen today.
(11:05):
They always have interesting timing. Associated they delayed it a
little bit. Tulsi's through, RFK Junior is through. Cash is
eventually going to get through too, But the procedural hurdle
seem to be crumbling, and RFK Junior is going to
get through as well, which again is significant.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
One more bit of breaking news. You start off this
hour by.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Talking Trump has said publicly now he has also talked
to Zolensky. He said he talked to Vladimir Putin and
was going to be talking to Zolensky. We are scheduled
at the top of the next hour to talk with
Marco Rubio, Secretary of State who Trump has deputized to
be in charge of the of the negotiation.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
To end the war in Ukraine.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
And so we'll get the absolute latest on all this
with Secretary of State Mark Karrubio and Trump says it's
time to stop the Ukraine Russia war and that he
just talked with the Zolenski. That is the That is
the absolute latest right now. I'm trying to check. It
(12:16):
moves so fast, buck Like, I'm looking at my phone
to see if he's posted about the conversation with the
Zolenski yet. I have not seen it pop across yet.
My sense is the Democrats are going to be in
a very tricky spot now because it's a little bit
like a Nancy Pelosi and some of the Democrats during
the Iraq War under Bush. They they wanted to fail,
(12:38):
but they can't. They can't really be too open about that,
although they got pretty open about it toward the end.
The Democrats should want the ceasefire and the agreement to
come together as quickly as possible between Zelenski and Putin.
But they know that anyone will be able to see
this and say, so Trump could do this, Why couldn't
Why could oh? Oh, because the dementia pace wasn't actually home.
(13:02):
There was a problem. Nobody was going to the top floor.
We didn't actually have a president for four years. When
we come back, I'll read you. Trump in the last
five minutes has posted his analysis of his conversation with
Vladimir A. Zzolenski, and we will talk about exactly what
he said there.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
That will be here in a sect.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
But I want to tell you in the meantime, are
you worried about your information being stolen on the dark web.
That's not a bad thing to be afraid of, unfortunately,
because it happens all the time, and you don't want
your information out there on the internet, on the dark web.
But LifeLock is a company we recommend to help protect you.
(13:43):
They monitor millions of data points every second looking for
evidence of wrongdoing by cyber hackers. LifeLock will detect and
alert you to potential identity threats you may not spot
on your own, like online thieves pretending.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
To be you.
Speaker 1 (13:57):

US based restoration specialist will fix it guaranteed or your
money back. Easy to help protect yourself with LifeLock, join
now say forty percent off your first year with my

LifeLock promo code Clay for forty percent off.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
You don't know what.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
You don't know right, but you could on the Sunday
Hang with Clay and Buck podcast. Okay, welcome back in
Clay Travis Buck Sexton Show. I told you that I
was going to give you the absolute latest on Ukraine Russia.
Trump just posted in the last few minutes. I just
spoke to President Zelensky of Ukraine. Conversation went very well. He,
(14:42):
like Putin, wants to make peace. We discussed a variety
of topics having to do with the war, but mostly
the meeting that is being set up on Friday in
Munich where Vice President Jade Vance and Secretary of State
Marco Rubio will lead the delegation. Hope for the results
of that meeting will be positive. It's time to stop
(15:03):
this ridiculous war where there has been massive and totally
unnecessary death and destruction. God blessed the people of Russia
and Ukraine. So that is the latest from Trump. We
will talk with Marco Rubio at the top of the
next hour. It sounds like Marco Rubio is headed to
(15:25):
Germany for that meeting in Munich, where maybe there will
be progress made towards a potential resolution of the war
in Ukraine with Russia. I think, at a minimum, buck
it is actually very positive that Trump has talked with
both Zelenski and Putin in the last hour or so,
(15:51):
and that both sides seem to be moving towards the
idea of some form of resolution for there for their conflict.
And remember, this is what we were told was a
laughably absurd position by many on the left during the
(16:11):
course of the election, when Trump said soon after he
was elected that he would in the war. I think,
in typical Trump fashion, he said within a day or
something like that, and people were like, it's impossible, it's
only twenty four hours. Like, yes, Trump often speaks hyperbolically,
(16:32):
but I do think it's fair to say if he
gets an end to the war in Ukraine within the
first few months of his presidency. That is an absolute
home run. I think people also want to dig in
more to that reporting that there was a point at
which early on in the war when Biden was president,
Zelenski wanted to have a negotiation with Putin and Boris
(16:57):
Johnson and Joe Biden essentially said no, no, you know,
you got to keep the fight going. You remember that,
I mean that was that was certainly reported, and you
got to wonder what's going on here? And if we're
talking about fraud, waste and abuse. A couple of things.
One is we've got Doge now, we'll play this for
you later. We got Jesse Kelly coming up here shortly.
(17:19):
But Doge is going to be looking at the Pentagon,
which a lot of lot of fraud, waste and abuse
going on with that budget. And where did the money
go in Ukraine? I know many of you have been
asking that for years. I don't think we're going to
like the answers we get, but I think we might
actually get some answers now with Elon and his team
looking at this, at least answers like it was this
(17:42):
much money and we have no idea where it went,
that's going to be the answer. I think most likely,
which also may start to shed more light on why
were some people so so so supportive of this Ukrainian
fight being extended. A right look, Puretak has a new
iPhone fourteen or a Samsung Galaxy ready for you as
part of a new plan. Their offer is a good one,
(18:04):
with qualifying plan of just forty five dollars a month.
You can get a Samsung Galaxy or iPhone fourteen on Puretalk.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
Now.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Compare Pure Talks deal to any other company and Puretalk
comes out ahead by more than fifty percent. Those big
cell phone companies are offering a three year deal at
one hundred dollars a month, usually bundled with a new
cell phone, but Puretalk is offering unlimited talk, text, twenty
five gigs of data and mobile hotspot at less than
half the price of the big guys. Get your Samsung
Galaxy your iPhone fourteen at no cost by dialing pound
(18:33):
two to fifty and say the keywords Clay and buck,
and Puretalk's US customer service team will help.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
You make the switch.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
Dial pound two five zero say the keywords Clay and
Buck to claim your Samsung Galaxy your iPhone fourteen on
Puretalk with qualifying purchase from Puretalk, America's wireless company. Welcome
back into Clay and Buck. We're joined by our buddy,
all seven feet of him, Jesse Kelly, who is the
author of The Anti Communist Manifesto, which is out in
(19:04):
paperback this week. I've got my copy here on the shelf.
I've got a hard hardcover because you know, I'm gonna
keep it for a long time. Jesse, congrats on all
the success of the book. How are the communists feeling
these days? It must be a rough a rough few
weeks for them.
Speaker 6 (19:21):
Yeah, what we're seeing is an attack on the foundation
that they've built. That's that's the only reason Democrats have
been able to achieve so much power in this country
is they've figured out a way to have the taxpayer
fund all their activism.
Speaker 5 (19:35):
And we're finding all this out now. But that's the truth.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
It's not.
Speaker 6 (19:39):
Communism is not popular now. It never was popular. It
wasn't popular in the Soviet Union. It's it's it will
never be popular. It's a demonic religion of force that
makes people do things they.
Speaker 5 (19:48):
Don't want to do. So you have to fight other ways.
Speaker 6 (19:50):
If you're a dirty comedy, you lie you lie, and
you find ways to force and worm your way into things.
So you take over the federal government and have all
of us go to work every day to fight tranny
surgeries in Guatemala.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
I'm just immediately picturing who's given tranny surgeries in Guatemala
and thinking that that does not sound like a n if.
I want to go under it anytime soon, Jesse. I
want to go to the serious discussion here. How did
the flu impact your hairline?
Speaker 5 (20:23):
You know, Clay? That was hurtful.
Speaker 6 (20:26):
What you just said was hurtful there, Because I'll be
honest with you, I had a lot of time as
I was laying in bed fighting through near death, which
of course I did. Most mortal men would not have
made it, but I did make it. I came out
the other side bigger, stronger, faster. But I did have
some time to think about my hair and I had
a moment in my one hundred and four fever delirium
(20:47):
where I actually considered, because everyone like you, Clay, is
mean to me about it, I had a moment where
I considered, do you go, you know, like the rogain
or something, or do you do you take one of
the supplements, you know, my wife's always talking about well
you could take this or take that, and I woke
up more defiant than I've ever been. I actually feel
like this is exactly how God wants me. Clay, I'm
(21:09):
sorry you can't accept me for who I.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
Am now.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
It is it is true God wants me this way.
You can't accept me for who I am is Actually,
I appreciate you coming out of the closet like this
because you've actually made the exact same argument that trans
people make when they need surgery. You know, make sure
this was just going full trans.
Speaker 6 (21:33):
By the way, speaking of all the trans stuff since
this has came up, was it the dumbest setting the
center inside all the weird stuff and all the horrible
stuff with kids and women's sports and crap like that?
Speaker 1 (21:43):
Was it the.
Speaker 6 (21:44):
Dumbest political move in the history of American politics for
Democrats to embrace such a thing again, I can't believe it.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
Reside.
Speaker 4 (21:54):
Yeah, I know, you want to talk about the most
narrow approval in the world. If you're a politician, you're
supposed to try to find the big things most people
agree with you on and run on those things. You found,
like the point zero five percent of the population and
decided you were gonna be their champion, and then total
American parents that their daughters should have to go play
(22:16):
rugby against these freaks.
Speaker 6 (22:17):
And Democrats are looking around right now stunned. How did
we lose so much power? Gee?
Speaker 1 (22:22):
I don't know, you know, Jesse. We're speaking of Jesse
Kelly Anti Communist Manifesto. His book comes out in paperback
this week. Make sure you get yourself a copy of it.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
Jesse.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
The Pentagon might be getting a visit from Doge real soon.
Pete Heseth, our friend and the Secretary of Defense, has
said he welcomes this. He is going to give them
everything that they need and is looking forward to finding
what's there when they kick over that rock. In terms
of the spending, what do you expect you're a former marine,
(22:52):
what do you think they're gonna find?
Speaker 2 (22:55):
Buck?
Speaker 5 (22:56):
I will tell you this.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
I'm not trying to be mellowdramantic.
Speaker 6 (22:58):
I actually had a thoughtless morning that we all need
to keep elon Musk. Pete hag Seth, the Trump administration,
Trump himself, of course, we all need to keep them
in our prayers because the truth is, we have a
really scary combination right now of some very very powerful
people who happen to be very very evil.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
People are very very.
Speaker 6 (23:18):
Afraid right now of what has taking place inside the
Trump administration because they're, like I said, those people, powerful
evil people are frightened as all the stones get unturned.
And I've tried to tell people, you brought up the Pentagon.
I'm telling people US eight is just a tip. This
is just a tip the Pentagon. What they're going to
find in there. You look, fuck, you know your CIA.
(23:40):
You know the things they're going to find, the waste,
the fraud, the abuse, the flat out and naked corruption.
It's going to stagger people because what we've had is
this unaccountable system for years and years and years in
this country where trillions of taxpayer money gets thrown into
that Pentagon black hole. And of course, anytime anyone's ever
(24:01):
tried to look into it, you know, they fail every audit,
anytime anyone looks into it, they cover themselves in the red,
white and blue and try to acute you hate the
military and these ridiculous claims. But those are claims that
get politicians to back off. And so now that we
have people who are really going to look into it,
just Gird your loins, everybody, because it's going to be
hard to see, Like this USAID stuff that we're finding out,
(24:22):
the training surgeries of Guatemala, stuff like that's hard to see.
Speaker 5 (24:25):
That's easy.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
This is the warm up.
Speaker 5 (24:27):
Compared to what we're going to find in the Pentagon.
It'll be ugly.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
Brother Jesse, I think you hit on something that's important
that we've hammered here to a large extent.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
Leave aside politics.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
I mean, Tulca Gabbard and RFK Junior are about to
get you know, confirmed they were Democrats told six minutes ago.
We know that there are a lot of people, frankly
out there who have ended up voting for Trump, and
I think to a large extent, it's because Democrats have
embraced ideas that are just thoroughly nonsensical. You mentioned men
(24:59):
being able to win women's championships. How about lining up
against the idea of having the most successful business person
in any of our lives, examine the federal books to
try to save all taxpayers money, like some of the
things that they are lining up.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
In favor of and opposing.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
I just I mean, regardless of whether you're a political
person or not, eliminating fraud and wasteful government spending is
what like a ninety five percent agreement issue. Men in
women's sports, not being able to win women's championships is
like a ninety ten issue for anybody who covers sports
or cares about sports. It's not just that Trump is
(25:40):
doing rational, common sense things. It's that it feels like
the Democrat Party is just running right off the edge
of a cliff and destroying themselves on the rocks below.
It's utterly nonsensical. It is clay, And I was thinking
about this, and so I have this there, and you
two can shoot it down. Of course you will if
you feel like it.
Speaker 6 (26:01):
But I have a theory that Joe Biden is largely
responsible for a lot of what we're seeing now.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
And this is what I mean.
Speaker 6 (26:08):
I'm talking about his weakness, you know, his whatever he had,
I don't know, the dementia, senile, whatever it was. When
you get elected president like Barack Obama, I consider to
be the worst, most evil, solace president this country's ever had.
But even he, when he got elected president, understood that
as president, in his own self interest, in his own
self interest, he had to keep the most Bonker's part
(26:30):
of the Democrat coalition at Bay like Barack Obama was
still called the deporter in chief to this day. Even
Barack Obama, who hates America, didn't want to bring in
twenty million illegals to rape and murder a bunch of
American women because in his own self interest, he knew
that that's bad for me. So when the braying lunatics
in the Democrat Party were telling him stop deporting people
as the commander in chief, as the president, he had
(26:52):
to be the dad and say, okay, pipe down, kids, no,
we're deporting people.
Speaker 5 (26:55):
Don't be nuts.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
Come on.
Speaker 6 (26:57):
Joe Biden lacked that strength we all see that could
averin chief that he was for four years. So for
four years Joe Biden sat there with drool running down
his chin, and so the government was run by the
filthy communist America haters around him with no breaks. What
we saw during Joe Biden's presidency was a Democrat presidency
with no breaks on it anymore. The President's supposed to
(27:18):
be the dad, supposed to be the breaks, and they
simply handed the party.
Speaker 5 (27:22):
Over to the nutballs, and now they run it all.
Speaker 6 (27:24):
We're watching the results of Joe Biden not be able
to mend the or tend the fence and keep the
herd in check for four years a Democrat party running wild. Now,
Jasmine Crockett's the voice of it. I can't get enough Jesse.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
You know, for twenty some odd years now, which coincides
with yours in my adult lives, Clay's got a few
decades on us. But for twenty four years or so,
you know, we've we've been looking at a Democrat party
that has either had you know, somebody in office as
president or a handful of people that we knew were
(28:00):
next in line for that that Democrat you know, the
Democrat nomination and were the leaders of the Democrat Party.
It's been Clinton, Obama, you know, Biden, believe it or not,
or the people around him. Right we've all known this
right now, I mean, Clay just read off who the
top Democrat picks are? I understand, ever, like, how could
you be thinking about an election? But it's more about
who the Democrat center, you know, who the sort of
(28:22):
main figurehead will be now and going forward in the
Trump administration.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
Who is it?
Speaker 1 (28:28):
I mean, it can't be Chuck Schumer kind of just
waving his bony fist around and shouting on stage or like,
who is it?
Speaker 6 (28:36):
I think it's gotta be and I know you're gonna
scream at me. I think it has to be Gretchen Whitmer,
and frankly, I think it's their only option. If Josh
Shapiro weren't Jewish, I would say it would be obviously
Josh Shapiro, but the Democrats went full jew hate too.
They've they've just they couldn't hold back the Hamas lovers
in their party either. So, gret you have to win Michigan, Pennsylvania,
(28:58):
in Wisconsin, and they have completely sideloed themselves into being
this coastal elite party where they only speak to the
insane LGBTQ mob on Berkeley's campus and they don't ever
speak to just normal Americans. In Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.
You have to have those states to win the presidency.
Now that Florida's blood red courtesy of Rondo Santus, so
(29:20):
you have to have those states. Well, Josh Shapiro would
be the no brainer. A relatively popular governor in Pennsylvania.
He should have been the VP choice of Dome, but
of course he was Jewish and the Democrat base went
full ape against Jews, and I'll kill all the Jews
and all that crazy craft they're shouting.
Speaker 5 (29:37):
So I think it's Gretchen Whitmer or bust.
Speaker 6 (29:39):
I think Gavin Newsom has a real problem on his
hands with this wildfire stuff, all kinds of bad optics
out there.
Speaker 5 (29:45):
If there's someone else, I'm all ears.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
I don't know who.
Speaker 5 (29:48):
I don't know who else it could be, but Gretchen Whitmer.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
So I don't disagree.
Speaker 1 (29:53):
I mean, I said, if they had been super rational,
they would have gone with a Witmer Shapiro ticket and
just gone all in on we have to win the Midwest,
and maybe that would have got him dragged over the
finish line. But here's my take on this, Jesse. I
think you're seeing I'm sure you've paid a little bit
of attention to it.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
Stephen A.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
Smith, the ESPN commentator, is saying, now he might run
for president. I think Trump is going to unleash a
ton of wealthy dudes, maybe some women as well, who
just look at this roster of incompetent politicians and try
to throw their hat in the ring too. And so
(30:30):
it wouldn't shock me if we got a total outsider
Democrat nominee, somebody who's not holding office right now, crazy
town or you think that's all so possible.
Speaker 6 (30:43):
No, honestly, with clear I think that's probably brilliant. I
think that's probably the way they have to go. But
at the same time, that guy, let's call it, let's
just pick a name, the Rock, always pretends he's going
to He's never going to he's too rich. But let's
just call it the Rock. Let's say you're right, the Rock. Besides,
it's gonna run his Democrat nominee. Yeah, everyone's excited about
that as a Democrat for about five minutes. And then
still he walks in and has to face the exact
(31:06):
same problem. Joe Biden face the exact same problem. Kamala
here faced what do you do with the deranged lunatics
who've taken over your party? Because you have to be
strong enough and popular enough to tell them sit down,
shut up. Okay, no, we're not doing the training stuff anymore.
That's gonna stop. No please, no more hamas, No, no,
that's gotta stop. We're gonna be you know, common sense,
(31:27):
a pew to the working man, because that's the only
way to hold together a Democrat coalition that can win
the presidency. That's what Clinton did, That's that's what Barack
Obama did. To be frank, you have to be able
to hold together a broader coalition than they have, even
a rich celebrity. How does he hold that coalition together?
Speaker 2 (31:43):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (31:44):
Maybe he can, I don't know, But that's they've got
a mountain to climb. They'll come back one day. These
pendulums swing back and forth, as you two both know.
But I really have a hard time seeing how they
do it in two years, four years. I don't know
how they do it.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
Jesse, why do the folks listening copy paperback copy of
the Communist Manifesto.
Speaker 6 (32:05):
The Anti Communist Manifesto? Buck, Actually, you should buy both
of them so you can so you can learn your enemy.
The Anti Communist Manifesto is easy to read because I'm
a moron and I wrote the book, so everybody, even kids,
can read it. It's funny and it actually tells you
what to do, like there are action items in the book.
It's not just the normal book of oh, here's all
(32:25):
our problems were totally screwed. There are things that everybody
every single person listening right now can do. It's available
at Jesse kellybook dot com. I came up with that
website myself.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
Well done, creative anti communist manifest to everybody. Jesse Kelly
will talk to you soon. Thanks for being here, buddy,
See you boys. Is there a part of you that
hears of egregious spending being uncovered by dos and wonders
how much lower or national debt might be if the
money was directed the right way. Lower debt means lower
debt payments equals less inflation until inflation gets lower, though
(32:57):
our dollars are getting chipped away a month in, month out.
So there are ways that you can actually take action
now to preserve the real value of your hard earned
savings by investing a portion of your savings in gold.
It's been proven time and again. Just look at the
historical value of gold and you'll see. Birch Gold Group
can help you with this. Their team has all the

Speaker 2 (33:57):
Era US and politics, but also a little comic relief.
Clay Travis and Buck Sexton.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
Find them on the free iHeartRadio app or wherever you
get your podcasts. Welcome back in Clay Travis buck Sexton Show.
We are going to be joined by Secretary of State
Marco Rubio at the top of the next hour. I
believe he is at the White House. Lots of movement
on a potential ceasefire maybe between Ukraine and Russia. Big
(34:25):
meeting coming up in Germany on Wednesday, that's two days
from now that Marco Rubio presumably will be traveling overseas
four and we'll get the latest from that on him.
Speaker 2 (34:36):
Buck.
Speaker 1 (34:37):
Also in the third hour, I spoke at the University
of Chicago. I traveled to and from Chicago yesterday. It's
why I was out. Buck has not heard the audio.
A lot of you have reacted to it. Producer Ali
watched the entire thing. It's linked at Clay and Buck.
I promise you you're gonna enjoy it. The audience hated me.
(34:57):
I definitely was walking in Buck to the Lions Day
and like, I don't know how much of the time
you can like hear that intake of breath where they
were like, you know, like, how dare you? I can't
believe that you just said what you just said. But
I think you guys are going to enjoy it. One
of the things I'm going to be trying to do
more in twenty twenty five is I would like to
sleep sleep. I'd like to speak on college campuses because
(35:20):
I think there are a lot of kids out there
that don't hear the arguments that we make. And it
may not agree, but I just want to put them
in front of them. What was the most offensive topic
for them? Would you say, where did Clay decide to
really just burn down the whole village? Well, the lady
was a moderator from the Atlantic, and she was talking
(35:43):
about what a hero Pete Buddhajeedge was or whatever, and
I was making fun of him getting his picture taken
with his husband in the birthing bed, and like they
just like lost it there. She was like trying to
shut down the conversation and like you talking about chest feeding? Yeah,
I was talking about chest feeding, and like it was
not well received in the room. I also, you know,
(36:07):
said that we even spend way more time talking about
toxic femininity because I think women are way at least
as toxic as men. And it was like it was
mostly a female audience and they were just like, oh,
men are not evil. And then one person got up
and asked a question Buck, and she was like, you
know about male violence and stuff like this, and I
was like, yeah, men tend to kick the crap out
(36:28):
of each other a lot more than they do women.
And the idea that men were violent with men was
like she couldn't handle it. Marco Rubio next, But I
guarantee you you guys are going to like some of
the clips we're going to play for you from that
talk more next. Thanks for hanging with us here on
