fight for their lives in the World Series after going
down three games to nothing. Last time I talked to
on Monday morning, I was like, oh, you know, let's

bring it back home. That Game one loss, just put
it in our rearview. Win game three, get the bullpen
day here we go. They did not win Game three,
They got dominated in Game three. The scoreboard looks a
lot closer than it was, as the Dodgers had a
couple They had runners on first and third, nobody out,

and they also had a basis loaded situation against believe
it was Mark Ler Junior. I think both were that
Game two if you look at the box score and
it pops up a four to two score or Game three,
excuse me, they both did. But Game three that was
not a four to two game. The Yankees literally homered

with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to
make it go from four to nothing to four to two.
Would have been cool if Claver got out and gave
so too a chance. He did not, So the Yankees
are down three to zero. And very very well known
in baseball circles. But only one team has come back

down three to nothing, and it was the Boston Red
Sox against the New York Yankees in two thousand and four.
There's documentary out about it right now. I think we
were supposed to kind of be in a couple of
the scenes produced by the Barnacle Bros. They came to
our office. I think our friends at MLB said, you
sure you need those guys. That's for another time. That's

what was. I'm gonna label this as cool for now
because I'm still a little broken about the Yankees. We
don't think the Yankees are gonna win the World Series.

and it's a theory that I've been working on in
my shower thoughts, the the fact that analytics has gotten
into sports with more scoring, Like that's kind of the key, right,
Like they used to rush the ball on every down
in football, Basketball they've shot started shooting more threes. Baseball

they essentially try to hit more home runs. That when
these things come to fruition, there's more scoring. Which if
there's more scoring, that allows wider range of results. There's
something there I could publish, something I won't, but we
have seen what the Celtics came back from down three

they lost game seven. Tatum got hurt on like the
the first play. Otherwise I think that would be something
we talk about more. Football obviously doesn't work this way,
but you know, we're seeing the largest comebacks in football history.

locks up on this. The Yamamoto game seemed like the
scarier game. I think the Dodgers even lined up Yamamoto
for Game two just because they know what they're gonna
get from him a little more than Flaherty. The Yankees
had a really good chance to win that Game one,

there's two outs in the tenth inning. If Freddy Freeman
gets under it by another inch and that's caught at
the warning track by Soto, we're talking about a two
to two series. We are not. Dodgers won Game one,
they go up three to nothing. It is now three
to one. After the Yankees win bullpen day, the offense

goes off. It is against pitchers that had not pitched
yet series and are currently not a part of the
Dodgers winning formula. Casparius, Hudson, Knack and Honeywell could be
their last outings of this postseason. Brett Honeywell with a
fifty pitch inning, I'd have to assume that's the only
one this year. I don't know how you research that.

has been the best unit on their team throughout the playoffs.
Their bullpen has been really strong. That they pulled Garrett
Cole after eighty eight pitches, they went to their bullpen

given Garrett Cole one or two more batters, would that

have extended Luke Weaver frest innings? Do they win that game?
If you play that game all day. Part of me
think the Yankees analytics team was like, this series is

then they're looking at a sweep. It's where sports gets

It's not if the Yanks go down and it's sad

gotten to him in both of his outings between Banda
and Vessia, the lefties and they can go through the

as your next starting pitcher. I believe in that to
a degree. I believe in feeling good at the plate.
And every Yankee had a hard hit ball yesterday except

and allowed them to take off and essentially win the
division with a four month run that entered him in
the Rookie of the Year chase. You know, we can

for four months of this season. He started very slow,
had a slow ap, he limped into the finish line.

good for a chunk oh the baseball season, and Glabor
Torre is in the leadoff spot who we've seen this postseason.
He just had a bad first half. He had a
really solid second half where he's getting on base a
ton which in front of Soto and Judge is normally
all you ask uh that Austin Wells being an actual threat,

because he might have been. He might have been the
biggest zero in the lineup he was giving overall, the
least I like for Dougo at least in a couple
of these situations has given you like the RBI ground
out feels.

And it feels like the hits for Dugo did get
were like, hey, he picked the right time to do it.

It could be expectation plus, it could be expectation a
little bit. But Austin wells if he returns to being

guy Ryan Ruco texted us before the series. He was like, hey,
I think Judge has gotten better the longer each series

has gone. And we were like, okay, little head tilt
and if you look at the box scores, there's something there.
Obviously it's not, you know, zero hits, one hit, two
home runs, three home runs, but you know, Judge has
looked a little bit off. Last game he was barely off.
He had a nice single that he put a charge

that were just off the end of the bat. That
the only thing that could be interesting if this, if
this series makes itself get actually interesting, by not going
to their a pen. The Yankees bats feeling good, do
they get them sparked or not. I think there is

having good at bats, because Game four they did not,
and all of this could fall on its face tonight.
If Jack Flerity comes out and essentially did what he
did in Game one, they basically need four innings out
of him, and they've got good bullpen to cover it.

It's a formula they'll feel good about it's worked, even
with the off day looming. If it somehow goes wrong,
they would still deploy it the same way.

Buffalo Bills. They got kind of whooped by the Steelers
after going up on them early, and then the New
England Patriots beat them. The Texans come into town. I
don't know, man, I think the Texans are a really

gambling person. Let's say you're your Joe's Sports and you
don't gamble. That's okay, good for you. Houston at the Jets,
what would you think the spread on that game would be?

Their losses are at the Packers and at the Vikings,
two pretty good losses that are aging better and better
every week. The Vikings loss, they got whooped a little bit,

be anywhere near this because what is this? The Jets

With that Houston office, they feel like, I want to say, unstoppable,

so maybe there's something there that they don't believe in

They got dominated in Game three. The scoreboard looks a
lot closer than it was, as the Dodgers had a

and they also had a basis loaded situation against believe
it was Mark Ler Junior. I think both were that
Game two if you look at the box score and
it pops up a four to two score or Game three,
excuse me, they both did. But Game three that was
not a four to two game. The Yankees literally homered

make it go from four to nothing to four to two.
Would have been cool if Claver got out and gave
so too a chance. He did not, So the Yankees
are down three to zero. And very very well known
in baseball circles. But only one team has come back

Sox against the New York Yankees in two thousand and four.

gets under it by another inch and that's caught at

goes off. It is against pitchers that had not pitched
yet series and are currently not a part of the
Dodgers winning formula. Casparius, Hudson, Knack and Honeywell could be

and allowed them to take off and essentially win the

was essentially an eight hundred eight fifty ops type player
for four months of this season. He started very slow,
had a slow ap, he limped into the finish line.

good for a chunk oh the baseball season, and Glabor

all you ask uh that Austin Wells being an actual threat,

because he might have been. He might have been the
biggest zero in the lineup he was giving overall, the
least I like for Dougo at least in a couple

It could be expectation plus, it could be expectation a

has gone. And we were like, okay, little head tilt
and if you look at the box scores, there's something there.

looked a little bit off. Last game he was barely off.

the only thing that could be interesting if this, if
this series makes itself get actually interesting, by not going
to their a pen. The Yankees bats feeling good, do

and all of this could fall on its face tonight.
If Jack Flerity comes out and essentially did what he

Rams felt like they salvaged their season last week, a
chance for them to get to four and four while
Seattle's at four and four should be some good NFC
best action and then your nightcap Indye at Minnesota, Joe
Flacco gets the starting gig over Anthony Richardson only because
he got too tired to play quarterback, which you can't do.

You just gotta should have fibbed. Exhibit a of why
you should fib sometimes ibably still be the starting quarterback
this week. If he told a little white lie, I
had a little stinger on that play. Minnesota five point

For a couple of years there they were the like

like him and he had a standout catch the other
day that like their wide receiver unit. If they were
with another quarterback, I think people would talk about them
as like, I don't think they're the best in the league,
but these guys are pretty good. And that's without getting
to a Doni Mitchell and Ashton Doolan, who I think
had a big punt return in the top pick out
of Texas for Mitchell with Jonathan Taylor as their running back, like,

I don't know if their quarterback situation was a little
more normal and that's why they're starting Joe Flacco. In
the year twenty twenty four. I think this Colts team
we would look at a little different. We don't. They're
four and four in Minnesota. It's a tough ask. Let's
