of what you're going to make. And then it gets

favorite and it sounded like this in overtime in Florida.

So when the game is on the line, it's not
Connor McDavid I'm worried about. It's Leon Dreisidle. But in overtime,

and I go, oh my god. Florida. Florida is so unbelievable.

And they're at home there they just dominated six to
one in the previous game, and I'm thinking, allright, let
me hang in here for a little bit. Then all
of a sudden, there's a goalie change Fred Minton a oh,

the one at the end of the first period. I go,
oh my god, that's a crusher because you have to

go in and just think about that for twenty minutes
in between periods, and then all of a sudden they
came out. Then all of a sudden they take the lead,
and then all of a sudden, closing seconds what eighteen
seconds to go, Florida ties it up Sam Reinhart and
then we go into overtime. Now I'm thinking, all right,
I got to make a business decision. Can I wait?

Can I stay up? Can I watch overtime? I chose
to go to bed. Anybody with me last night choosing
to go to bed? Oh okay, everybody did because my
wife goes, wait a minute, who won I go, no,

It's like two in the morning, and I wake up.

If you think about this season, the Alex Ovechkin passing Gretzky,

Canada is going to get the Cup back finally Florida, Florida,

the state has had that Stanley Cup for five years,
or at least they've been part of the Stanley Cup
final for five years. This is the sixth year, and
maybe they keep the cup there. But it's been fun.

the game coming up tonight. The odds makers still favor

win in six is the next best bet for the

favored to win the title. And I would have thought
that that game that they just won would have changed
things a little bit, maybe a little bit more. Maybe
the Thunder aren't six six point favorites, Maybe it was
going to be two or three. But the fact that
there're still favorites in Indiana says a lot about what

doesn't matter. She could go to a Chiefs game and
her boyfriend is playing for the Chiefs, but all of
a sudden, it's the networks who do this. She doesn't say,
I'll go, but you must show me fifteen times. It
doesn't work that way. Blame the networks, don't blame her
and him. The fact that they went to the game

tells you, man, it's pretty exciting, and you don't like

half assed media companies take that and post something so
they could get clicks off of Taylor Swift Travis Kelce story. Okay,
this is not a real thing and no one's really bothered.

Yeah, they kind of ride the wave of Taylor Swift
and Travis Kelcey. Right, but hey, I'm happy they're going
strong and if they get engaged before this show comes
to an end, for he has to take a wedding
cake in the face. Yes, tout the other thing.

The one thing I do have a problem with that
It happens with the Chiefs too, when something good or
bad happens.

Does Netflix ever release one of their films in a
theater and then you can watch it on Netflix after
just give both experiences.

I think there are movies that are I don't know
what the movie industry is doing yere. All I know
is that if they're shooting movies any place but Hollywood,
it feels like but I think they'll have a limited
run in a theater and then they'll put it on
Netflix or some of the other streaming partners. Sandler's contract

is with Netflix. He makes movies for Netflix.

Yeah, point, I don't know the finances behind it, but
it feels like movie theaters are back ish after COVID.
I've been to a few movies in the past year
and they were kind of full, and you can buy drinks,
and the seats are way better and the sound is
way better. I wonder if they're I wonder if the
numbers are up.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Yeah, I don't know what. And you know, it's a
lot of kids movies that you can go to the theater,
Marvel movies. Feels like. I just worry that these smaller movies,
independent films like those are the ones that may get
kicked to the curb. Because we do love a sequel.
I mean, I'm in one with Sandler. You know, grown

ups too in a sequel, Hey, water Boy, are they
going to do a sequel for that. Maybe that's what
Derrick Henry would be in if they did a sequel
to that. And I have to say to Sandler, how
about we lower the yardage total for Derrick Henry to
fifteen hundred yards? What do you think about that suggestion?

Two thousand? That's a lot fifteen hundred And I'm you know,
I'm going to say to Sandler, we're going to get
more interest the closer that he gets to that. If
he's got one game to go and he's two hundred
and fifty or three hundred yards away from two thousand,
we lost a little bit of that that oomph. But
maybe we can ride this a little bit and have

fifteen hundred yards certainly seems achievable for Derrick Kenry. Yeah, Seden,
So you don't think two thousand yards is achievable for
Derick Henry. I do, but I would bet on the under.

favorite and it sounded like this in overtime in Florida.

NHL history. He also had six overtime goals game winning
goals during the regular season. That's also an NHL record.
So when the game is on the line, it's not
Connor McDavid I'm worried about. It's Leon Dreisidle. But in overtime,

and I go, oh my god. Florida. Florida is so unbelievable.

And they're at home there they just dominated six to
one in the previous game, and I'm thinking, allright, let
me hang in here for a little bit. Then all

If you think about this season, the Alex Ovechkin passing Gretzky,

Canada is going to get the Cup back finally Florida, Florida,

or at least they've been part of the Stanley Cup
final for five years. This is the sixth year, and
maybe they keep the cup there. But it's been fun.

the game coming up tonight. The odds makers still favor

win in six is the next best bet for the

I would do Nix Lakers in nineteen seventy that went
to a Game seven with Willis Reed, you know, coming
out and hitting a couple of buckets, because he would
be healthy this time around. Would it be different? And
Clyde Fraser had one of the great Game sevens in
NBA history, one of the great Game seven forgotten Game

seven performances in NBA history. It's hard to go thirty
six points and nineteen assists against Jerry West and the Lakers,
and it's an oh, by the way, and your MVP
is Willis Reid. Wait a minute, he scored four points. Well,

I think that's the closest Jordan came to losing. And
can you imagine if Barkley had one head to head

Barkley's history would be the one guy to take him down.

just remember people were kind of going back and forth,
and then Charles said some things about Michael and then

going to take a couple of blows here and then
all of a sudden, he was going in. He was
going for the jugular and it had to do with

to come home so I can watch the game. I
get more out of it when I'm watching it on TV.
So my wife goes, uh, we got a party. I go, no,

the super Bowl. She goes, it's a super Bowl party.
I go, oh. I said, I'm gonna stay for the
first half, and so it's it. You know. Of course,
the Patriots are getting roughed up, and then I decide
to leave, and then all of a sudden, the comeback starts.
So everybody was blaming me for the first half of
the Patriots performance, and then they were crediting me leaving

for the second half performance. And so I you know,
whenever the big Patriot fans they're like, yeah, there's our
good luck charm. I said, yeah, when I leave the
party on your good luck charm. When I was there,
they're like, because they said who do you like? I go,
I like the Patriots. They're getting smoked. Oh, you know,
like I for some reason, I'm to blame that the

Patriots are being blown out twenty eight to three, and
then the comeback begins. Yeah, seed, Yeah.

The I remember that day being because my son was like,
he was like seven.

I think he's young. He's crying, you know, and he's like,

And I had to tell him at some point in

game off and you're not watching. Nobody's watching the game anymore.
You got chill out, all right. And they sat like
startupat and then slowly they came ticking back inch by inch.

Steah. All of a sudden, you have a moment where
you're like, oh my god, I'm such a dad. How
did I have it come this dad? You know? Uh yeah, Pauly.

They replay that game on NFL network all the time.
You can see that Super Bowl and when you're watching
that third quarter, you're like, this doesn't make sense. This
team can't come back. The odds are so against it.
I think I got the box score right here. Atlanta's
up twenty eight to nine. Late in the third, they've
got second and one and they get called for holding,
then an incomplete pass. Then remember Matt Ryan takes that

sack or they get a field goal. If they don't
take the sack, they probably get a field goal. And
