Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome to the Favorites, presented by Draft Kings. The crown
is yours. I'm Brandon Kravitz, joined by my two faves,
the Red Hot Stuckey and Kendra. Seriously, folks, if you
are not tailing these two week to week, you're costing
yourself some money. On today's episode, we will submit our
official plays for the week. We've got our stat of
(00:30):
the day, two Kings and a Queen Parlay hit last week.
We'll see if we can do it again. We've got
Kendra's pickle prop and the return of Action or Distraction.
Let's kick things off with Evan Abram's shrimply unbelievable stat
of the week straight from the primer, and we're gonna
go to Miami for this one. Josh Allen has started
(00:50):
eight career road games where he was favored by over
a full touchdown two and six ats in those games.
They've already failed to cover against Miami once this season,
that was at home, and the Bills are coming off
of the emotional win of the season. We didn't touch
on this game on Tuesday's episode, so let's start there. Kendra,
(01:12):
are we touching this game with a ten foot poll
Bills minus nine and a half.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
No, the Bills have been really bad covering big numbers
this year. We watched what happening with them with the Saints.
I just can't get there. I think the Dolphins are
probably better than the Saints, especially as currently constructed. I
just can't get to that window. And I think the
Dolphins might come out swing in a little bit this weekend.
Obviously they had some issues with the GM, kept the
coach around, didn't make any trades at the deadline. I
(01:40):
think the Dolphins are figuring out.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
That this is what they're stuck with. Move it or
lose it.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
A lot of people on you know, contracts that might
want to go elsewhere at the end of the year.
I got to figure out what's going on with Tua.
Bills just can't cover a big number this season. Can't
get there. I would love to because it feels like
the Bills are back. It feels like the Bills have momentum.
I saw that they were maybe bringing Gabe Davis off
of the pre to squad, but can't do it.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Don't not for me. You can't get there.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
What about you, Stuckey?
Speaker 1 (02:05):
This number was two touchdowns in Buffalo and now we're
down to nine and a half. Do you think that
this is a proper home field advantage adjustment for the
Miami Dolphins. The percentages are overwhelming on Buffalo this week.
Perhaps people overreacting to the Dolphins moving Jalen Phillips in
at the trade deadline. They didn't go in full fire
(02:26):
sale mode. But where do you read how do you
read this one?
Speaker 2 (02:31):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (02:31):
I mean this the first game, what Buffalo closed, didn't
that close like eleven and closed eleven and a half.
Buffalo won by ten in that game, but Miami had
some chances. But Miami is now worse off. They have
injuries on defense, they have traded some pieces, they've this
roster is a mess. The Bills, I also think, are
(02:51):
trending up on defense, like they were struggling on defense
earlier in the year. But you got guys like Bishop
playing better, the emergence of Hairston at corner. So but
they they lost Hoit last week. They've lost Oliver. But
I do think their defense in general, because the back
end has been the issue, they can still generate pressure.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Now.
Speaker 5 (03:09):
The run defense I think is still a bit vulnerable.
So maybe miamual op success there, and that's what you
kind of want with a bigger dog, But I think
this line is pretty much dead on like numbers wise,
I might have to look at Miami if this creeps
up into double digits, but I'm not sure i'd get there.
It's not the best spot for the Bills right coming
(03:29):
off that big win going down to South Florida. But
I'm just not sure where this Miami team is at
mentally and also physically with all the injuries and just
bodies that are missing. So this is probably one of
the easier passes on the void for me, a game
I want to totally avoid.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
We keep waiting for the bottom to fall out, and
maybe it happened last week. They did get blown out
by the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football. This is
another one. Then this is a reason to back the
Miami Dolphins. Is dirty, disgusting dog. I am looking to
add another gross dog to my sheet for this week,
so maybe I can be sold on one before the
end of the episode. Since two thousand and three dogs
(04:08):
of seven or more at home after losing by twenty
plus points in their previous game, sixty nine forty six
and one ats. That's sixty percent and that signals the
Miami Dolphins.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
But we will it's a great Bilo cell high spot.
I'll tell you that.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
I mean, all year feels like a bilo in the
Miami Dolphins. So that's it's trying.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
Last week, I mean, they blew out the Falcons, but
like I'm just saying in principle, like you have the
Bills coming off this huge win as a home dog
over the Chiefs. The Dolphins got blown out on Thursday night.
At least have some extra rest and prep here. Divisional game,
a lot of familiarity on both sides. So if I
had to bet it at nine and a half, it
would be Miami or nothing. But definitely with like a.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Ten back to football in a moment. Time to delve
into the weird, the bizarre, the random. I'm gonna kick
it back over to you Stuckey for your random question
of the week.
Speaker 5 (05:02):
Hey, this is a dumb question. Let me ask you
a personal question kind of question?
Speaker 4 (05:08):
Is that is question?
Speaker 5 (05:10):
This is a hypothetical test your critical thinking skills, and
it's kind of it's kind of personal too. You have
to take one of these two offers you get, I
give you fifty dollars every time you yawn, or one
cent every time you blink. What do you think you
would take.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
One cent every time I blink?
Speaker 1 (05:26):
I think I would take the fifty every time I yawned,
because I can kind.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
Of control that. That's I mean I can.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
It's gotta be a natural yawn. You can't be like then.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
If I don't sleep on purpose, then I'd be yawning
a lot and.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Twenty thousand times a day.
Speaker 5 (05:44):
Now I think you blink, Yeah, you blink like a
thousand times. It's a thousand times an hour. So yeah,
I mean I'm up a lot. I'm up like eighteen
twenty hours a day. So like, in order to get
to twenty thousand, So say you've blinked twenty thousand in
a day. If you get one cent, then you're at
two hundred dollars, So you'd have to yawn four times.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
I think.
Speaker 6 (06:06):
I for I'm definitely yawned four times a day.
Speaker 5 (06:08):
I don't know how often I y I feel like
I don't. Now they say the average person yawns three
to five times, so like, this is a pretty fair bet.
But if you're a person that yawns more or like
if you're like, all right, I'm just gonna stay up more.
But like, is it really worth it for a couple elections.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
I do think you're guaranteed to blink every single day,
You're not guaranteed to.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Yawn every single day.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
So I think in the long term, the blinking makes
more sense than the yawning because there are days where
like I'll sleep in and then I'll go to bed
really early. Am I really yawning that much in that day?
Speaker 5 (06:39):
But probably people yawn a couple times a day without
realizing it, like people also yawning on their nervous It.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Could be like a coffee addict rest.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
If you're not yawning, you're just not working hard enough.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
I think it's also when you get excited.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
So yeah, I think I'm the mat It's close. It
it comes down to a personal preference. And then like
some people just yawn more than others.
Speaker 7 (07:03):
Evan break the tie Chat says we yawned fifteen times
a day.
Speaker 8 (07:07):
That is not correct, solicit. There is no way you
just have to do that. Now, there's no way that's true.
I'll go with blinking because I want to get paid.
Speaker 5 (07:21):
Maybe, but that's something twenty times a day, it says
the average person yon four and not a chance. I
think a lot of us yawn without realizing it's like
you don't clock it.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
I'm going to try and think about this over the
next week. Every time I yawn, I'm going to like
try and add like a little like take mark to
like notes.
Speaker 5 (07:40):
Okay, I'll try to do the same.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
I also don't want to be conscious of every blink
that I have throughout the day because it gets I
mean thinking about it right now and it's.
Speaker 5 (07:48):
Then you're like just trying to blink extra morning.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
You could make extra money though, because you can make
yourself blink, But then you like.
Speaker 5 (07:54):
Would yeah you would, it would Yeah, it would like
ruin your mental state of mind. You can't focus on anything.
You're just sitting there trying to get as many sense
as you can every second of the day. So I
don't know, that's my weird question of the day.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
We're gonna clock that one as distraction time for our
game show this week, Action or Distraction.
Speaker 5 (08:16):
This is distracted distracted.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
I'm not stacky.
Speaker 5 (08:19):
I want it on the action.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
I'm gonna start with Kendra Davis Mills is in c J.
Stroud is out for the Houston Texans. The Jags are
now flipped to favorites in this AFC South Showdown. Action
or distraction on the Jags as favorites on the road.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
I don't cammel on the Jacksonville Jaguars, and we are
a Jaguars podcast. However, I would prefer if it was CJ.
Stroud because the Jacksonville Jaguars historically do not perform well
against backup quarterbacks.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
I think that they could lose this week badly.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
They just for whatever reason we saw about Jake Browning
right like he's kicked the Jags ass last year with
Flacco or was it two seasons ago with Flacco knock
them out of playoff contention. Just backup quarterbacks in the
Jaguars oil and water.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
Nope, cannot get there.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
I feel like the Texans are probably going to beat
the Jags this week. I said that they would split
the home and home at the beginning of the season.
I'm sticking there. That's how I feel. I don't know
what it is about a backup quarterback. I want nothing
to do with it. I prefer if it was to J.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Stroud.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Davis Mills has been pretty terrible. I give myself one
teaser per week because if they give, just given where
the juice is now on teasers across sports books, if
you do too many, your win percentage has to be
ridiculous in order to cash out on that. So I
give myself one, and I've done a really good job
this year of hitting on those.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
But you don't want to overdo it.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Jags, when they were at plus one and a half,
kicked up to seven and a half along with your
plant the flag game Kendra, the Lions down to two
and a half, which is now not the best of
the number on that side, but it is on the
Jag side. I still think that teasing the Jags in
this game, maybe the Texans.
Speaker 5 (10:05):
Don't tease through zero zero. Teasing through zero is you're
just giving up three points for no reason. I think
right now, if that's one piece of advice you ever
takes from this podcast, never tease through zero. I cannot.
I mean, I could walk you through how why that's
horrendous for like hours, but just please never do that.
(10:28):
If you're listening, you can do what you want, Brandon,
You're allowed to, But if you're listening, don't tease through zero.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
So I do I tease. I tease games every single week.
I'm completely with you on that. If you want to
bet the Jags and that was the only way you
could get to the window on it, then fine, but
you have absolutely missed the best of it.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
I would not do that as well.
Speaker 5 (10:52):
But I do think that well now, like I mean,
you're this isn't your You're telling us about your teases
that's no longer available. I think now something that is available,
the Texans are worth a tease teasing the Texans up
over seven. As a dog, I actually liked the Texans
if I had to choose a side here. The Jags
do have a troubled history against backups, although the last
time they played Mills they did win thirty one to three.
(11:13):
I think Nico Collins is owned to the Jags as well,
like Davis Mills isn't great.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Kirk revenge game, Yeah, Christian.
Speaker 5 (11:23):
Kirk revenge Mills isn't great. But and they do have
their tackle is hurt, which Houston's been improving their pass protection.
Like last week, they weren't awful against the Broncos. The
generated as much pressure as anybody Broncos at their second
lowest pressure rate of the season. But they lost tight
As Howard as a concussion, and one of the things
that they've done to help shure up their pass protection,
they're going more jumbo, they've gone more six offensive linemen.
(11:45):
So without Howard, even on your standardowns, when you have
Blake Fisher in there, who's terrible, that could ruin things
for the offense. But this is still the best defense
in the league at home. The Jaguars offense still not
a well old machine.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
And I don't think BTJ is going to play this week.
Speaker 5 (12:03):
Yeah, they're they're banged up too, so.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Which might help everyone involved.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
To be honest, like, I think he needs to sit
down and shut up for a couple of weeks. Love him,
mean it, but he needs a mental He needs a
mental he needs a mental health day.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
And just like I.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Jacoby, I think is going to play obviously, So just
let him go in there, take you know, Btj's reps,
give him a breather. I think that that would be
the best scenario for everyone involved. Blame it on an injury, whatever,
let him sit cool down.
Speaker 5 (12:32):
Figure, you have enough bodies, a lot of receiver he
doesn't like, they're like they're last week, So yeah, I
think as a dog, the Texans are worth a look.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Now.
Speaker 5 (12:42):
I also really love him as a teaser because I
did tease them last night up over seven and I
paired them with the Jets. Both I think make a
ton of sense. The best teaser options are through three
through seven, and especially if there's a lower total. Points
are at a premium, right, so you're the points that
(13:02):
you're getting. Say, if you tease a dog that's two
and a half up to eight and a half and
the totals fifty five, there'll be more points. Points are
not as valuable in that game as they are in
a game with a total of thirty seven. So yeah,
the Jets, Jets Brown's point should be at a premium,
whether too horrific offenses. So yeah, I like Jets Texans.
(13:23):
That's my favorite teas of the week, Stucky.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
The most disgusting game of the week by far is
that Jets Brown's game. The Jets they fire saled the deadline.
This line moved from Jets minus two to Jets plus
two and a half.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
Chin or distraction on the line move here, I mean,
you've already.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
Told us how you're playing into this, but perhaps the
biggest dump at the deadline.
Speaker 5 (13:47):
Yeah, I mean, I think it's the lines probably moved
too far. Now, granted, not all linemans are created equally.
You know, moving from minus two to plus two and
a half, you're not crossing any key numbers. You're not
crossing any secondary numbers. Now with these two offenses in
a total thirty seven, you could argue every point matters,
but you know, every like a four and a half
point move from two and a half up to you know,
(14:11):
seven is exponentially more impactful than going from minus two
to plus two and a half. I think it's moved
too far because like, you're not gonna have sauce. Gardner's
obviously really good in one of the best corners in
the NFL, but it's the Browns offense in weather, Like,
his loss is not going to be that the Browns
(14:31):
want to run the ball, but that's their So like
Williams would be the bigger impact here. He's a good
run stopper, but like he's a he's a defensive tackle.
They're not worth like that much. And I mean, Gabriel
can't already see you now he's gonna have to deal
with weather. So yeah, like, I don't think I think
(14:53):
we've gone too far here, And I would look at
the Jets. I personally tease them, but it's this goes
to three, it's it's one hundred percent the Jets, I mean,
and you gotta remember the Browns defense also isn't the
same caliber unit whenever they're on the road. I mean,
it's been that way for years, and this is a
Browns offense. If you look at success rate the bottom
(15:14):
five quarterbacks and success rate, you know, around forty percent
is like Nicks Ward Ross go down a couple of
rungs and that's before you get the gab or it
was at like thirty six thirty seven percent. So yeah,
I don't think the loss of Gardner is that really
(15:35):
that impactful in this particular matchup, especially given the condition.
So I think this line's moved too far. It would
be Jets or nothing for me, But I personally tease them.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
One of the dirty, disgusting dogs that people can buy
into this week would be the Jets. Another one is
the other team that shares a stadium with them. And
we have an A grade luck game Giants plus four
and a half against the Chicago Bears. So the we've
seen people that bet unlucky teams with an A grade
(16:04):
twenty eight, sixteen and two, that's sixty four percent ATS
A graded road teams are eighteen and seven ATS that's
seventy two percent. Stucky's pod friend Chris Raybond on the
Giants this week, Kendra, I know you hate this slate,
and this is part of the reason why I would think,
but action or distraction on getting to the window on
(16:26):
the Giants.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
I this would probably have been my pickle game of
the week if we were still doing that bit, just
because the Bears will let up points and Jackson Dart
is probably the best kind of quarterback to create something
out of nothing in the NFL right now in my opinion,
which might be a hot take to some because he's
a rookie, but like he has no weapons and is
still figuring it out. He's you know, scoring any time
(16:49):
touchdowns without these weapons.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Whatever.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
I just I would love to back the Giants here
because I think the Bears are a little bit fraudulent.
Their defense is just so bad, both like they can
put up points and the Giants defense is kind of
their saving grace right now. But where are the Giants
going to get these points from. That's the issue for me.
I would love to back the Giants in this spot
because I think the Bears are overrated here. I just
don't know where they're gonna get the points from. That's
(17:13):
the big thing for me. I'd probably maybe look at
the under in this game, even though, like it's clear
that the Bears can score points. It's just I would
love to back the Giants. Don't know where they're going
to get those points from to cover that number.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
Their turnover differential this season has been ridiculous plus thirteen
and that's the reason why we get there. On the
Luck rankings. The Bears are at thirty, the Giants are
at thirtieth in the Luck rankings. Caleb Williams still holding
onto the ball way too long and this is probably
not the defensive line that you want to do that against.
To me, the Giants are in consideration for me is
(17:46):
that disgusting score.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
Who's going to score?
Speaker 5 (17:51):
I mean, anyone could score on the Bear the Bears.
Bears defense is really bad. But the thing I worry
about here, this is a tough game to cap because
one who's playing the Giant secondary. I mean because they're decimated.
I mean it's like Flatt and Holland a debo are
they going to play? Because I mean once you start
getting to their backups, there's no depth there. It is
(18:13):
as bad as bad can be. You do not want.
I mean, Banks is already like in there now, Phillips
is question well, like it's a mess, so who's playing there?
They also have some offensive line injuries worth noting. Their
tight ends are banged up, but there could be weather,
There could be a lot of wind, and so that
(18:35):
will like help their secondary, but that also could help
the Bear secondary. The Bear secondary without Gordon, without Johnson
is a disaster and our.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
Defense is a hole is a disaster.
Speaker 5 (18:45):
Which yeah, but if there's a lot of if there's
a lot of wind and that it limits the passing attacks,
it's gonna help both secondaries. And then where this might
be decided is the Bear's rushing attack right now is
elite number one in the NFL in success rate since
October first. They are running all over everybody. Ben Johnson
(19:06):
has that run game cooking, and the Giants have the
worst run defense in the NFL. I mean they can't
stop any rushing tack. They got a good pass rush,
they cannot stop their run. So if this becomes a
weather game.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
If I have to convince myself of the wins to
bet on a game though, I'm just not going to
do it.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
Yeah, you don't have to bet. I'm just I'm just
giving my thoughts.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Like, no, I get it.
Speaker 5 (19:26):
So like if the Bears are if this becomes a
running game, the Bears have a much better offensive line,
their running game is much better, and the Giants run
defense is much worse than the Bears run defense, so
that ultimately could be the difference. The other thing to
keep in mind, you're gonna get a couple of these
Giants games a year. I've already lost money on one.
There was two last year. There was one already this
(19:49):
year against the Chiefs. They didn't have a kicker because
Gnou got hurt in warm ups, and then they had
to go for two and they had to go on
fourth downs. This happened against Washington last year and they
went scored like three touchdowns and twenty eighteen points. You know,
it's hurt. I don't know if he's gonna play. Are
they going to trot him out there hurt? Or like
they don't like I guess it could be. It could
(20:11):
be uh coo coo. I think is on their practice
squad they cut the Irish guy after you missed the
extra points. But then this is outdoors with wind like
the giants kicking situation could be.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
I'm anungai game question mark.
Speaker 5 (20:23):
Yeah, he's he's probably he was a monster less like, yeah,
that's what I worry about the matchup is because the
bear should be able to run all over the giants
and wind that could be there.
Speaker 4 (20:33):
Yeah, yeah, I mean I'm gonna I'm with Kendra.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
The wind thing like that should probably tilt our our
betting thoughts on totals. If that is your deciding factor
for a side, then you don't love the bet as
much as you think you do. Action or distraction on
Brock Party coming back for the San Francisco forty nine ers,
It's possible. We still don't have word on that. Does
(20:56):
this matter as you cap the game Stucky action or
distraction on Party?
Speaker 5 (21:00):
How would I rather have Matt Jones in there? Especially
like a first game? So I think Party is better,
not significantly, But I don't think he would be in
the first game. I mean he could be, but I
think like you have the rust. You see a lot
of these quarterbacks come back the first game, there's some
rust they have to shake off. You don't even know
is he going to be able to push off? Is
(21:20):
he going to be fully healthy? So I think it
would add a lot of variants. And if I was
wanting to back the forty nine ers, and also I
actually like the over in that game, I would want
Mac Jones in there. I do think that the forty
we don't even know about this forty nine ers defense
is because they haven't really played anybody and they've been
getting shredded, like they got destroyed by the Texans. They
(21:41):
got the Giants removing the ball on them with a
bunch of backups and hurt offensive line. Now you're going
up against one of the best offenses in the NFL
and the Rams they play fast, they will throw a lot,
and then the forty nine ers are fairly fast compared
to years past with Mac Jones. And I think this
defense is probably the most overrated unit in the league
(22:03):
right now. I mean, they'd like rank like number one
EBA per play statistically, they they're like great out as
the best defense in the league. Well, that's what happens
when you play Cooper Rush and the Ravens. Last week
Tyler Shuck and the Saints. They played the though No,
(22:24):
but I'm just saying, so, I think they're over Their
defense is overrated. This is not This secondary is extremely vulnerable.
Like when they played Mac Jones and the forty nine Ers,
who didn't have half their team. Kittle didn't even play
in that game. The forty nine Ers beat them, and
Mac Jones threw for three hundred and fifty yards and
he was throwing to Kendrick Bourne fifty times, just looking
(22:46):
at Born and throwing him and Jake Tanjas. So I
think the Rams defense has gotten overrated over the past
few weeks because of who they played. Like you play Shuck,
that the Jags offense and Cooper Rush in your past
three games, You're gonna look a lot better statistically than
you probably are. So I think the forty nine ers
we have success moving the ball. It's crazy. This is
(23:08):
a crazy stat These teams have met fourteen times since
twenty nineteen, including the playoffs, the underdog has gone thirteen
and one against the spread. Ten of the fourteen have
been won by the underdogs. If ten of the fourteen
games have been outright upsets. Two teams very familiar with
each other. There's not a lot of home field either
way because of travel, There's fans are there from both teams,
(23:31):
So generally speaking, this has been an underdog matchup. But
I just fear for this forty nine Ers defense in
the state that it's in. I mean, they got nothing
left going up against this Rams offense with Nikua good
to go, which is huge against the forty nine ers zones.
It could get ugly, but I think the forty nine
Ers score their fair share of points. But I do
(23:52):
think it matters because party could just be like right now,
the mac Jones in rhythm with the offense and he's
doing a good job already. Comes back, it could be
rusty and it could just throw everything off, and you
can't afford that against the Rams, to get behind with
that forty nine Ers defense. So I do think it matters.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
And That's where I'm at with San Francisco is I want.
I want to back San Francisco. I want to like
them better with Brock Purdy out there, and I can't
quite convince myself that he's better for them right now,
even if I'm not a long term believer in mac Jones,
and so it's this sort of weird mental gymnastics where
you like one quarterback better than the other, but you're
(24:31):
not sure that they're better for the specific moment. Also,
historical momentum here not on San Francisco's side.
Speaker 4 (24:37):
This is from the primer this week.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Since Christmas of twenty twenty three, the forty nine ers
are one in fourteen against the spread after an outright win.
Speaker 4 (24:46):
That is the worst mark of any team in the NFL.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
So Kyle Shannan having a hard time backing up that momentum.
Tom Brady cloned his dog who passed away in twenty
twenty three. Kendra, let's wrap up our game show action
distraction on that not being something we need in our society.
It's weird, Okay, So.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
I'm very much on this is like the peak of
having fucket money. But Tom Brady is not the first
celebrity to do this. My question at the end of
this would be, since we're all dog people, if you
would clone your dog. However, Tom Brady's cloned his dog
Barbara streisand clone her dog Samantha to have two poppies
named Miss Violet and Miss Scarlett, so she had two
(25:26):
clones of her dog, and then Paris Hilton also cloned
her dog Diamond Baby, into twins named Diamond and Baby.
Simon Cowell has also used pet cloning services before. Would
you guys clone your dog if you could. I'm in
the camp of no, because there's my dogs. I've always
had rescues. I will always rescue. There's dogs who need
(25:47):
need Holmes. However, however, I will say Paris Hilton has
influenced me because I saw that her dog lived to
fourteen because she was doing red light therapy with her dog.
Speaker 6 (25:55):
So me and my dog do red light therapy together
every morning.
Speaker 4 (25:57):
What the fuck is red light therapy?
Speaker 6 (26:00):
Oh my gosh, you have to look into it.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
I've been doing red light therapy for years in Saunas,
but I got one of the like industrial red light
things for my apartment. So now I sit on my
floor my underwear in the morning with my dog and
we do red light therapies together. It's supposed to like
help you live longer. It helps your skin, it helps
your hair, it helps like your energy. You should look
into red light therapy. I'm sure Stucky knows about red
(26:22):
light therapy.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
He gives that energy. Yeah, I do that every morning,
so yes, yes, yes I knew it.
Speaker 5 (26:29):
I have no idea what that is. Ah, so I
know I would never clone my dog. Your dog is
your own. It's like he's my dog, and I don't like,
I don't I want, I will cherish.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
The personality is the same.
Speaker 5 (26:41):
Do you think I don't think.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
The genes are identical, you would think, but I mean
twins have similar genes and have different personalities, so I
would lean towards probably, but who knows.
Speaker 4 (26:54):
I don't think. I think we should abandon the cloning thing.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
It's it's just fucking weird and it is a waste
of money because because a.
Speaker 5 (27:00):
Lot of a lot of the dog's personality is shaped
by their experiences. So like you could say that if
they're in the same like the juture genetics and your
experiences in your environment, So if it isn't the same environment,
you could have similar But like any if you get
a new dog, like their personality. A lot of times
your pets take on your personality in a lot of ways.
So like even if you got a new dog, their
(27:21):
personality would be shaped by you.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
And but they're yeah, they're doing this with like dire
wolves though, in science, to see if we can like
clone dinosaurs again. So I'm like, are we really just
using our money to like low key fund dinosaur cloning.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
If we're gonna bring back now, if we're gonna bring
back animals that no longer exist, that can get down
on cloning. But if we're just cloning animals that are
already overpopulated in our world, then I don't understand.
Speaker 3 (27:45):
Okay, if you could clone an animal that doesn't exist
anymore to have it as a pet, what would it
be tri serratops next, I'm gonna be a velociraptor for sure.
Speaker 4 (27:54):
They're way too vicious. I like that you want to
you want to plant either?
Speaker 6 (27:58):
I told you earlier I would want to.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
It's a rattlesnake on the head, So yeah, I mean I.
Speaker 5 (28:03):
Think that there's a they're they're trying to clone wooly
mammoths and bring them back.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
Oh yeah, hell yeah.
Speaker 5 (28:11):
Those are for like the ecosystem and in the Arctic,
and for like climate change reasons because they were like
a huge part of If you have them, they trample
snow and it would then it gives you colder winters
and the permafrost doesn't melt as quickly. That's one of
the main reasons.
Speaker 4 (28:31):
Red Light Therapy doesn't know that he knows.
Speaker 6 (28:34):
Are blue footed boobies extinct?
Speaker 5 (28:37):
No, I They're my wife's favorite animal. And we saw
plenty of them in the Galapagos Islands.
Speaker 4 (28:49):
Oh yeah, and we got like a.
Speaker 5 (28:51):
Bunch of blue footed booby like there. They have so
much stuff down there, like, I love boobies shirts. Now,
that is my wife's favorite animal.
Speaker 6 (29:01):
To bluefoot have been okay, so they're still around.
Speaker 2 (29:03):
I would clone one of those.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
I just blinked like twenty times. Somebody owes me a dollar.
I'm gonna clone Kendra right now. Two Kings and a
Queen parlay coming up right now. She'll tell us about DraftKings.
Speaker 3 (29:15):
The Favorites podcast has teamed up with DraftKings sportsbook, where
new customers can bet five dollars and get three hundred
back in bonus bets if your bet wins and three
months of NBA League Pass to get started, use promo
Code of Favorites when signing up with DraftKings. Again, use
Code of Favorites when signing up and bet five bucks
to get three hundred back and bonus bets. If your
bet wins plus three months of VA League pass, the
(29:38):
crown is yours.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
Kendra, What prop has you gonna pickle this week? Before
we get to our community parlay?
Speaker 5 (29:46):
Okay, we're in a pickle. Now, I'm really in a
pickle now, all right, look we're gonna pickle again.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
Hey yeah, okay, you guys.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
Drake London of the Person has me in a pickle
this week? Do we fade or follow his monstrous game
last week in a matchup that seems to favor him
once again?
Speaker 2 (30:05):
Is he getting sauced this week? Did they go back
to Bijon?
Speaker 6 (30:08):
He was a real money maker for people last week.
Speaker 3 (30:10):
I want to think this offense has figured it out
how to use him, etc. The price is plus one
forty five for in any time. I don't know if
I can get there or not. I need you guys
to convince me or not. This is I'm letting you
guys control my brain like Plankton in that episode.
Speaker 4 (30:24):
A SpongeBob is getting sauce still a thing.
Speaker 1 (30:28):
I feel like the Colts way overpaid for sauce Gardner
with the two first round picks, But I'm gonna tell
you to do it because the Colts have been There's
a reason why they made this trade. They have been
a sieve against opposing wide receivers. London's a beast. There's
no reason why he shouldn't have a good game here.
(30:50):
So whether you want to go receptions yards, touchdown, pick
your favorite poison. I think Drake London props make a
lot of sense this week, Stucky.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
What do you think.
Speaker 5 (31:00):
London or the Falcons?
Speaker 2 (31:02):
Drake London?
Speaker 5 (31:04):
I don't know it. It's hard to say, Like how
much is Gardner gonna play? How are they going to
use him? Is he fully up to speed? I think
he's gonna start, but it's like a short week with
travel on a new defense, so I don't know. Are
they going to have him follow London? Are they going
to keep it simpler for him? I can't give it
insight because I just, I just I really don't know.
(31:24):
There's a lot of uncertainty there, which is why, like
I bet the Falcons, but I don't like my bet
as much. Obviously I bet it earlier in the week.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
I also bet the Falcons.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
Well, they're in Germany. This is not a US game,
This is a Germany game.
Speaker 4 (31:36):
Now, if London was in London, this would be a lock.
Speaker 1 (31:39):
I don't know if we can use the same sort
of overseas translation with his last name.
Speaker 4 (31:44):
Is the reason to bet.
Speaker 5 (31:44):
This, Yeah, it's now. The Falcons have offensive line injuries.
They could be without both their guards. They're already without
their right tackle, and the Falcons they can get pressure.
Their defense should be healthier. They should get like Harrison
Bowman back this week. But the problem is they can't
stop the run. And they cannot stop the run like
(32:08):
at all, and especially with diabloout, and you got like
it's it's bad. Their their backup their depth at linebacker.
So that's problematic against Jonathan Taylor. And after last week,
Jane Steichen has been pretty vocal about the fact that
he didn't get the ball to Jonathan Taylor. More So,
I feel like this is going to be a heavy
(32:29):
Jonathan Taylor game. He should have success on the ground
that would in turn make Atlanta start to come in
help bring their stafeties down, and then that's going to
set up some easy plaction throws. Now, I do think
this line is still too high, but like adding Sauce
Gardner and like our producer just said that the Colts
have been number one against number one receivers. Yeah, well
(32:50):
a lot of that, well, a lot of that is
with Charvarius Ward has been statistically the best cornerback in
the NFL this year, but with him out and there's
a lot of noise in those dbo a verse number
one receivers. But with him out, it was pretty bleak
on the outside. But now you add Sauce Garner, you
kind of plug that gap. And then once Award comes back,
(33:11):
they have arguably the best collection of corners in the NFL.
But that's I thought London was gonna have a huge game,
and he should have, but now Gardner kind of cloud
He's at the offensive line injuries to match up with
the running game. Now the caveat is I do think
the line is a bit too high. The Colts are playing,
you know, it's a grass field, so I think it
helps Atlanta a little bit. And Daniel Jones could always
(33:32):
pumpkin this game away. So but I did bet the
Falcons don't love it. If I were to recommend what
to do now, I would wait see if the seven pops,
then I would take Atlanta. If not, I'd probably avoid it.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
It is our first opportunity to buy low on this
red hot, white hot Colts team. We haven't really had
these chances because they've been such cover spreading monsters. And
then Daniel Jones did have that game where he pumpkined
on Halloween.
Speaker 4 (34:03):
It happened.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
So do they go back to what they've been for
the entirety of the season. I think, very, very rarely
this year we had a chance to buy low on
this Colts team. We've been waiting for the fade. We
kind of forgot about it. Stucky bet them last week,
but as a community podcast here, we didn't do it.
Speaker 5 (34:24):
I would not. You're not really I don't think you're
really buying low in the Colts. I mean they're laying
six and a half on on a neutral field against
the Falcons. That is not buying.
Speaker 1 (34:35):
I haven't said by low at six and a half.
I'm just bringing up.
Speaker 5 (34:39):
This is just a number number because they lost, Like
this number was, this number was like trending to five
and now at six and a half, and like it
wasn't even going to be six and a half if
the Colts, if the Colts won last week, this wasn't
going to be seven in any world so I don't
(35:01):
think you're buying low at all on the Colts and
think on a losing streak maybe there's a chance. But
the Colts six and a half points better than the
Falcons on a neutral field is the furthest thing from
buying low. I like the Falcons of the number, like
I think this should be like four and a half
four now with Gardner, the offensive line, injuries, the rushing.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
Matchup, neutral field.
Speaker 5 (35:22):
It's a little dice here, But now this is not
buying low in the Colts.
Speaker 3 (35:27):
Do we think the Germans like Daniel Jones because they've
seen him play before? Do we think it's going to
be Like, because I've been to games abroad, they're pretty neutral,
just people going to see a game. But because the
Germans have, you know, been like are we do we
think that it's going to be a Colts crowd.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
I think ninety nine percent of Germans and attendance don't
know who Daniel Jones is.
Speaker 6 (35:48):
But they no, that's not true. They watched him play
what was it last year or the year before.
Speaker 1 (35:52):
That's a forgettable experience, by the way, to poke a
hole in my own thought exercise of the by.
Speaker 5 (35:58):
Low kind, by the way, I don't. I don't know,
I don't know. I could speak some German, that's my own.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
Oh okay, I was like, did sneeze fifty eight percent
of the bets right now in the Indianapolis cults?
Speaker 4 (36:09):
So uh no, you guys are right, not a bilo.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
But it was Hey, listen, if they lose this week,
maybe the bilo comes next week.
Speaker 4 (36:16):
Something to keep it.
Speaker 5 (36:17):
I gotta buy next week, so you'll be buying.
Speaker 4 (36:19):
The bye well to be by b ye Low. Let's
get to it.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
Two kings and a queen parlay each nominate two, we
battle over who we stick in there, three leg parlay,
and then we send you on your merry way. Kendra,
(36:44):
I'm curious to see what direction you go with this
because I know how much you hate this slate, So
will you even nominate anything you could?
Speaker 5 (36:54):
The way?
Speaker 6 (36:55):
Here's here's my plan.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
I wrote out all of the bets that I was
not even gonna bet anything this week outside of the
lions that I got with A three earlier this week.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
But I'm gonna give you guys what I have, and I'm.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
Gonna let you guys pick. Okay, I hate this. I
hate the slate so much I hate it. I want
to be on the Falcons. I did wind up getting
to the window on them just because the neutral field
aspect convinced me too. So you have the Falcons, the Lions.
I got it minus three, they're now minus eight, So
that's an option for you. And I also have the Ravens.
But I know that Kravitz also has the Ravens. So
those are your three options. Those are every single bet
(37:27):
I have for the week. I hate the slate, I
want nothing to do with it. I hate everyone all
the time.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
But those are your choices.
Speaker 4 (37:34):
I don't I don't have the Ravens. I like the
I like the total.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
More specifically, I did put in the app Ravens money
line over forty one parlayd even money. That is a
bet that I have, but we don't put parlays into
the parlay, so I'm not gonna see that one up.
I would nominate the total in that game, though at
its full price.
Speaker 3 (37:54):
I still think it's so we just put Stucky in
a blender and go both of us.
Speaker 2 (37:59):
Ravens. You with the total, meet you with the Raid.
Speaker 5 (38:05):
What are your nominations, Kendris, You don't even think I have.
Speaker 3 (38:07):
The line you can take the Lions at the eight
or the Ravens to cover.
Speaker 6 (38:13):
Those are your really, once again shitty options.
Speaker 5 (38:17):
I guess we'll start off and I guess I'll book that.
I mean, I bet the Falcons so and I show
value the number. There's a lot of things I don't
like about it.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
But okay, Falcons.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
I don't like these International games. I would vote Ravens.
Speaker 5 (38:30):
Evan, if we can go Raven's first half money line.
Speaker 2 (38:34):
Evan com on that.
Speaker 5 (38:36):
That was going to be one of mine. But Evan,
do you want to help us break it?
Speaker 7 (38:40):
Ravens first half money line would be the one for me.
What if you buy low in Atlanta? What if you
just can completely do the opposite of what we just
talked about and call Atlanta buy low and take the.
Speaker 1 (38:50):
Falcons Atlanta just cover. Does it count as a by
low if you're coming off of a cover.
Speaker 6 (38:55):
Well, that was.
Speaker 3 (38:58):
The Falcons cannot put together more than two weeks at
a time if you look at their schedule, and this
would be the third week, which.
Speaker 2 (39:05):
Is the only reason I did get to the WINNO
on the Falcon.
Speaker 7 (39:08):
The Falcons. The Falcons have forty nine er issues, which
is they don't play well after playing well, They don't
string together playing well.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
They have a look ahead too.
Speaker 3 (39:18):
What if we just we're taking the buy but they
still have the Chiefs after that?
Speaker 4 (39:22):
What if we just put your Drake London prop in here.
Speaker 5 (39:24):
No, we don't want to prop in here.
Speaker 7 (39:26):
Oh yeah, because the Colts are number one.
Speaker 5 (39:30):
How about all right? What about our kender Do you
like Ravens first half money line?
Speaker 1 (39:34):
I like Raven's first half money line, Kendri, do you
like it?
Speaker 5 (39:36):
It's Kendrick's pick that bucket.
Speaker 3 (39:39):
I think that we should just go all Ravens here,
just once, stuck in their corner.
Speaker 5 (39:45):
Yeah, Raven's first half is gonna be one of my picks.
For what it's worth, Lamar first half sixty one to
thirty six and two against the spread, covered by a
field goal per game, fifty three thirty and two against
the spread. As a favorite has a favorite away from home,
He's twenty eight ten and one against the spread, covering
by five points per game in the first half. It's
insane extra deal. Their defense is much better. A week's
(40:07):
one through five, they were thirtieth and ep A per
play since then, seventh in EPA per play fourth and
success rate ninth and dropback EPA. I think they come
out hot here. He's been very good against NFC teams,
teams that don't really see him a lot. I think
they shocked him early. They can hit explosive runs. The
Ravens Rundy's still really bad, but the Vikings aren't efficient
running the.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
Ball, so I like that Vikings suck. I'm gonna say it.
Speaker 4 (40:29):
Listen, the sale has been made. I think we've locked
it in Ravens.
Speaker 5 (40:33):
First half money line, Brandon, what are your cheap choices?
Speaker 1 (40:37):
Mine are bucks minus two and a half against the
Pats or that same game Ravens Vikings over forty nine
halves bucks.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
I like the box.
Speaker 5 (40:46):
I don't like either. Uh so I'll let Hevin. What's
your vote? I mean, I just don't have any feel
on either.
Speaker 4 (40:52):
Yes, Evan, would we do this to him?
Speaker 7 (40:56):
I hate both of these as well, but I think
it would be more fun with Baltimore and having both
sides on that game, having two things in the same game,
so we could be rooting for a lot. Let's just
root for Baltimore to go up twenty eight nothing in
the first.
Speaker 5 (41:09):
Half balls to the Ravens over and the Ravens first
half money line. It will be good because if the
Ravens get up, it's gonna make Minnesota throw and not
lean on the run, and mistakes will probably happen, and
that game couick it squirrely. All right, my two choices.
(41:30):
I played the Commanders, but I know you guys are
going to vote for that. I think that ridiculousity. The
Lions are broken right now and have no offensive line
and can't run the ball, so I'll nominate the Cardinals.
Now I'm waiting for a seven, but I'd still bet
six and a half. We were talking about a real sell,
a real by Low or Sell high. This is I
(41:52):
think a real cell high Seattle, so throughout the peak
of their market, I do think they're legit. But like
the Cardinals, I think are still the most underrated team
in the NFL.
Speaker 6 (42:01):
Teams are my darlings.
Speaker 5 (42:03):
You guys, well, we haven't got there.
Speaker 7 (42:05):
I think you'll get a seven again.
Speaker 5 (42:07):
Yeah, I think we'll get a seven, which is the
only thing I'm worried about. But the Cardinals offense is
better with persette, and by the way, they are perfectly
designed to stop the Seattle offense because they don't allow
exposa passes. Seattle goes heavy and off play action, and
Darnold's been great. He's been great against the blitz. The
Cardinals don't blitz. They will play their three high safety looks.
They held They've done the best job against Seattle's offense
(42:28):
all year. They held him the twenty points. And by
the way, in that game, they didn't have all their corners.
Williams didn't play, who else didn't play? Will Johnson didn't play.
They just added Walter Nolan, who looked tremendous, their first
round Draftfic who made his debut this week. So this
Cardinals defense is structurally built to slow down Seattle's offense,
and this Arizona offense is just They can play with anybody.
(42:50):
They have played with everybody all year. They haven't lost
by more than four and they've lost like three or
four games at the last second, including one against Seattle.
I think this nine is too high. The only thing
I'm worried about is I think we'll get a seven eventually,
but it's at six and a half now. But that
would be a choice, and my other one would be
I wouldn't say the Packers too, but you're not going
(43:11):
to vote for.
Speaker 4 (43:11):
That, definitely not so. Still waiting on that three to
pop up, by the way, stuck you or is that?
Speaker 3 (43:18):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (43:19):
I didn't say it would I said you might as
well wait, just like you might as well.
Speaker 4 (43:22):
I'm sitting it too. I got the best of the bat.
I'm not gonna fight with you about my parents.
Speaker 2 (43:26):
Are fighting in the kitchen again.
Speaker 5 (43:29):
Yeah, yes, I guess my mine would be Cardinals plus
six and a half and we'll go Jets. Money on, Like,
the Browns shouldn't be a road favorite here.
Speaker 1 (43:42):
I can't bet that Jets Browns game. I don't want
anything on that game, period. So I'll go Cardinals plus
six and a half. They showed some fight last week.
I like their defense Seattle. I mean this is probably
peak of the market for them. They've been so good.
Top five offense, top five defense, divisional Matt getting nearly
a touchdown.
Speaker 4 (44:02):
It makes sense to bet Arizona here.
Speaker 5 (44:04):
I'll go Cardinals, Kendrick, Cardinals or Jets.
Speaker 2 (44:07):
I'm gonna probably say the Jets.
Speaker 7 (44:12):
Angry Birds, all right, we got it.
Speaker 3 (44:15):
Fuck you guys are gonna make me cheer against the Seahawks.
Speaker 2 (44:19):
You hate it here?
Speaker 1 (44:21):
Everything a week It's the All Birds, two Kings and

Speaker 1 (44:30):
Ravens Ravens first half money line Ravens Vikings over forty
nine and a half Cardinals plus six and a half
against the Seahawks. Even the Cardinals are going up against
another bird, a bird time Cacaw And that'll do it
