Speaker 1 (00:09):
Hey, hello everyone. Sunday Week ten is wrapping up. Welcome
to the Favorites presented by DraftKings. I'm your host, Evan Abrams,
and I am joined by my fellow solo degenerate Kendra
Middleton Stucky and Brandon oh Oh Tonight, both doing separate
duties at the moment. But Kendra, what's going on? How
(00:30):
are you?
Speaker 2 (00:31):
I had a great day of gambling, a terrible, terrible,
terrible day of fandom. We will get to the Jaguars collapse,
but other than that, I'm pretty good. How are you?
Speaker 1 (00:40):
I'm doing fantastic. I put one bet in the app
for this day, Kyraen Williams. He scored a touchdown. We
move on to Monday Night Football. I am so sorry
about the Sad Cats, but yes that with Carolina a
few different things that just looked very sad today. But
we got our goats and our wotes, which we'll talk votes,
which we'll talk about in a second. Our biggest take
from the Sunday slike some unfortunate times for the Sad Cats,
(01:03):
and we will have an SGP on DraftKings for Monday
Night Football to deliver. But a recap of our two
Kings and a Queen parlay. It didn't go so well,
so we will pass on that a loser for this week,
but we have more picks to come, more good times.
So let's go first here goats and wotes. Kendrick, what
do you got?
Speaker 2 (01:23):
My goat has to be Tony Romo saying the Patriots
are DTF. He said, they have details, toughness, and they finish.
That has to be my go for the day. I
never thought my goat would be Tony Romo, but that
was so funny, so funny. I'm curious if he knows
what like actually DTF means or if he was just
I'm sure he does, but that was ridiculous and I
(01:47):
loved it. My wote the Jaguars, specifically the defense what
to collapse Trevor Lawrence. That last fumble was just the
epitome of the Trevor Lawrence experience. I think that the
franchise and the fans have to seriously start looking at
him like we need to be making some I think
William Cohen hates him. Frankly, I think that he hates
(02:08):
his guts.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Yeah, I think that's completely the correct to me based
off the performance today. But I will say this no BTJ.
That's not like you don't have what should be the
offense that's out there. So I think there's a little
bit missing. But listen, the the what you allowed to
Davis Mills in that game. It's just the numbers are
beyond it. Yeah, you did actually on them. You did
say you actually might have been Earth. You might have
(02:33):
been the one person on Earth who was scared of
Davis Mills. It would have been strout in this game.
You would have been like, give me the Jaguars. But
I mean, yeah, understood, all right, So my goats and
votes my goats here Mike McDonald's Sunday night, because he's
got to be having the best dinner tonight he's had,
and there's like he's had to have been on the
egg shells of all eggshells, and then tonight after beating
Buffalo today probably enjoying himself also another greatest of all
(02:58):
time performance today, anybody was holding an early ticket of
Houston as one and a half. I don't know if
anyone saw the end of that Jaguar Texan game, but
your usual just bs in the air ball goes somewhere.
Trevor Lawrence hands it to Houston, who walks at the
end zone. Terrible bad beat, but Houston twenty six nothing
fourth quarter, forty to one on the live line, Kendra,
(03:20):
I am very very sorry and my worst of all time.
Russell Wilson, I am a closeted Giants fan because who
the heck cares? I was born and raised in New York.
Care more about the bets. But this performance today like
awful in one way where every time he enters the game,
the Giants immediately lose fourteen points somehow. And the other
way is the Giants should have wanted to lose the game, right,
(03:42):
I mean, from a draft pick perspective, there is no
reason when you lose neighbors, you lose CAM, you lose
Dart like it's over. Let's just lose games, get a
good draft pick, and move on with our lives. So
those are my takeaways. Anything else I.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
Don't think so. I mean, as far as my goats,
most we're gonna get into the one o'clock games. But
I just the Jaguars collapse might be the worst regular
season collapse I've seen from them, maybe ever, And that's
really saying something.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Well, listen, in a season where you beat the Chiefs.
This is just not what you had scripted up as
the rest of the way. But again, I thought the
defense would play better. Like if this was a performance
where Jacksonville's offense just didn't do dittally, I think you
would have looked at him much differently than blowing this
type of lead and watching the past defense allow it
to Davis Mills. But that's just me, all right, So
why don't you take this other takeaways from one o'clock games?
(04:30):
What else hit your plate?
Speaker 2 (04:33):
I think the Bills we kind of chat about this,
but I think they have to be gambling. There's no
way that that game went the way that it did
that end zone interception, like they that offense has to
be gambling. You can't tell me. You can't tell me otherwise.
I would like to submit them to the FBI as gamblers.
Jackson Dart talked about the Giants a little bit. I
think that he is legit, Like they found their quarterback.
(04:56):
They found their guy. Anytime touchdown score even with the concussion,
him wanting to still play incredible ten out of ten,
no notes. I don't know what his offensive Rookie of
the Year odds are. I get that his receivers are hurt.
His run game is just absolutely obliterated. But if he
keeps fighting and somehow isn't out for next week's game
(05:16):
with the concussion, which I think that he probably be
not a bad shout Tyler Shuck. Is he good?
Speaker 1 (05:25):
I mean he's better than Spencer Rattler. I mean anything
is I think in that offense, anything is better than
Spencer Ratler. And Carolina puts up seven points. I mean
he had a few good throws. We'll see.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
And then my other takeaway, Drake may was the MVP
favorite earlier. We talked when we were getting on here.
Maybe it is now Matt Stafford, but when we were
doing our notes, he was the MVP favorite plus two
to fifty. It's probably between the two of them now,
but that was I don't even know what it was
at the beginning of the season, but it was I
think eight to one at the beginning of last week.
And now here we are, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
I think he was. I put in my article. I'll
look it up again. It's like fifty to one or
something like that. So great value there obviously not anymore. Yeah,
the favorites at the top are where they should be.
It's it's Drake May, it's Jonathan Taylor, and it's who's
a guy I'm forgetting. Oh, Matthew Stafford, who just yeah,
put up another forty point performance for the Rams, So
(06:17):
I think that makes sense. My other takeaways from these games,
Underdogs killed it in that early window at one pm Eastern.
I believe six and one, I'm sorry, five and two
straight up, six and one against the spread with the
Giants losing and covering. So dogs did incredible afternoon I
believe favorites came back and wiped the slate, literally the
worst slate of games you've ever seen in your life.
(06:38):
The other funny thing is from like the Patriots standpoint
Travon Henderson. The experience was just amazing because early in
the game on the goal line, he ran like two
or three times and Varibel was so frustrated that he
couldn't get in, and then later in the second half
has a fifty five and sixty nine yard run. So
just absolutely hilarious stuff all around from me.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
He really told them to shove it the way that
they had him on the bench at the beginning of
the season, and good for him, yes.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Completely completely. So those are my funny situations from the
window own. But other than that, do we even need
to talk about the four o'clocks? I mean literally, Dan
Campbell's play calling to me taking over on the offensive side.
The only thing I really cared about in this game
when when the Niners got within like fourteen, I was like, Okay,
maybe this is something we can you know, we'll need
(07:24):
to talk about, but nothing ever happened.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
How about this, you power rank Seattle, Detroit and the
Rams for me top to bottom right now?
Speaker 1 (07:34):
Okay, So like in a playoff picture situation, Seattle is
still third of those teams. I just don't trust them
as much. Like overall, what they've done on the road,
all those things, super super impressive, Like I just didn't
think they'd be here, But they're still third on that list.
Then still probably the Lions, Like I just have so
much faith in the Rams, like they're so close whenever
(07:58):
they lose, and they're still consist like week to week.
I'm just never worried about the bad game from them,
And when it happens is usually the Niners and it
wasn't today. So Rams, Lions, Hawks, what about you?
Speaker 2 (08:12):
I think I'm gonna go Seattle one I'm gonna go
ooh wow. Yeah, you know that I've talked about on
I think our Thursday show and our show last Sunday.
I'm a Seahawks truther. I think that they're the best
team in the NFC.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
Neutral Like actually right now, neutral field against those two
other teams, You would you like Seattle straight up right now?
Speaker 2 (08:31):
I think I do. Yeah, I think I really do. Yeah.
I think that they're the best team that I've seen
right now. The only thing that kills them is sometimes
at home. Sam Darnold looks like he can choke up
a little bit. But the way that he's played the
last couple of weeks, especially on the road, especially on
the road, the way that this team has played, even
the defense day what to two defensive scores?
Speaker 1 (08:53):
Yeah, crazy, look there make make Arizona look probably the
way they are, Like, I think the performance we've seen
before not who they are as a team. I think
this a little bit closer. But Seattle's x what they've
done on defense, their offensive line, like they are super complete.
Great question. I like that. Okay, so before we get
(09:14):
to the Sunday night football game, I'm gonna actually now
toss it to Kendrick for a word from our partners
from DraftKings.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
Time for Sunday Night football. Let's talk Steelers at Chargers.
So anything at all do you have I need? I
need even if you don't have a bet, Give me
one word on this game.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Mccauughie's still in bet jail for me. I still love
the Chargers too much, dude. I can't get out of
bet jail with him. Him and the Patriots are locked away.
I hate to say it. For probably the rest of
the season. I think the Falcons call that I had
last week with the Patriots was probably the only time
I'm even going to disrespect them again this season. Like
I just I've got I can't. It's over. I can't
(10:21):
talk about either of these two. I love the Chargers
too much. I can't. I can't get to this game.
The Pittsburgh scares me, and I don't know why they
Sure Chargers, I know what, They're like that little brother
that just is getting bigger than you the older you get,
and you can't really fight him off anymore, but they're
still just he's still your little brother. I don't know
(10:43):
what it is. I can't get there on this game.
I want to be there, just not I This is
probably my I just want to watch this game of
the week.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
This is a matchup of flaws, like both teams have
reasons where you don't want to bet on them. You
just kind of have to go a direction and hope
it's not as bad as the other one. Like Pittsburgh
has a lot of issues. The Chargers offensive line is
the scariest thing to me. If I had to pick
a side, I would take the Steelers in the side
and one DraftKings fun prop that honestly I thought was interesting.
I think so Chargers defense pretty good overall, they struggle
(11:14):
a little bit versus the tight end. So DK has
something where it's a John Who touchdown or a Fryarmooth
touchdown and you catch your bet it's plus one ten.
So basically don't have to choose. If it's Darnel Washington,
I apologize, But the other two tight ends, I think
it's a decent bet. So that would be one I would.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
I like that. I like that research from you em
and Abrams. I think that that's a good call.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
Do what I have to do. Just here for the moment,
all right, Monday night football time. So we are going
to put together an SGP. The way we're going to
do this is this. We are going to put two
bets on the table, and you and I are going
to decide one bet that leaves to leave us with
a three team parlay or a three leg parlay. So
I will be I will start first here. Now before
(11:57):
we start, I do want to say this, nick If
and then the luck rankings. Basically today four and oh
they had the Raiders, the Giants, the Jets, and the
Texans all four and oh. This week in week ten,
now they actually have a side on Green Bay in
this game. I don't know necessarily if you're gonna take
a side, if it's Eagles or Packers. To me, a
(12:19):
side is not the direction. If I did, I would
actually lean Philly. But nix So yeah, Nixey's value in
Green Bay. But do do you like a sign on
this game? Where are you going more props?
Speaker 2 (12:30):
I talked about this with the boys while they were
bickering about this game, and for me, if I had
to pick a side, it would probably be Philly. I
just don't want anything to do with it. I don't
know who, I know who this Eagles team is. They're
gonna be that team. They're gonna give you an entire
quarter where both sides of the ball are gonna shit
the bed and you don't know which quarter it's gonna be,
(12:51):
but you know it's coming. It's just a matter of
how much can your opponent take advantage of that quarter
that Philly doesn't show up? And for me, the Packers
are inconsistent. I don't know who they are. I don't
know what teams that they are capable of beating in
the teams that they're not because of just the inconsistencies
they've had against opponents all season long. I'm also not
a Jordan Love Truther with you know, the T Tucker
(13:13):
Craft out for the rest of the season. I don't
know how their offense really is going to be any
I can't nope. I besides, once again, not that not
the thing for me. I'm gonna go any touch anytime,
touchdowns with my with my things here, I'm gonna go
Jalen Hurts anytime plus one oh five or a J.
Brown anytime plus one sixty five. My thoughts here, Hurts
is due. I think the last time he had at
(13:34):
any time was week six. AJ Brown. I feel like
they have to have a petty party for him, the
you're you're sorry, you're still here, We're gonna give you
a touchdown tonight type of beat.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Yeah. Iileen Philly too. The other what I tracked in
the app was Hurts and Saquon both to score of touchdowns,
both at plus money, Like, there are not a lot
of weeks where you can have both of them at
plus odds to score. I just think it's sitting there
because Philly is the underdog, and I honestly think they
probably shouldn't be in this matchup the two other So
(14:07):
that's what I put in aside. But we're gonna put
that aside because you've got Hurts, you've got aj Brown,
the two people I want to put up here, and
this is just a little bit different. But I have
two long shots to add to our parlave. So you
can pick one of these two long shots. I had
Savian Williams, who is about ten to one right now
with DraftKings, Like, really, at this point when you lose Craft,
(14:29):
there's a lot of options there in the red zone
for when I think the Packers will be trailing and
trying to get like a nice touchdown end of the game,
whatever it is, So saving Williams at ten to one
or maybe a better option. Luke Musgrave basically the guy
walking in for Craft in this matchup. They've said to me,
it's almost a narrative play because when you look at
some of the things they've said about Muskrave and during
(14:50):
this game, it's honestly ridiculous. Jordan Love called him a
key offensive weapon, their offensive coordinator called him a downfield threat.
Like I think they're gonna try to them involved. So
you can take your pick on either long shot and
we'll toss it with AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts a
little touchdown parlay.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
I like the Luke Muskgraves look. They have to kind
of I think every young quarter the way that the
tight end position has kind of evolved since I was
a kid is so interesting, and I love that they
are not just primarily blockers anymore, but they're basically an
elevated receiver. Every young quarterback in the league right now
has a tight end or just a position group of
(15:28):
tight ends that they rely on. I like the look.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
No, all right, it's tight ends. I'm obsessed with tight end,
especially in prime time games. The thing I do say,
I do love myself a blocking tight end, like someone
with very little routes run, who's like ten or twelve
to one to score a touchdown. So all about it myself,
all right. So that's the parlay. Jalen Hurts to score
a touchdown, AJ Brown to score a touchdown, and Luke
(15:51):
Musgrave to score a touchdown. New tight end one for
the Green Bay Packers. So hopefully that all goes well
the favorites. That's it today. We will return next out.
So yeah, that was good. I mean, we got to
everything we needed to go. Listen, if you watch that
afternoon slate, listen, go touch some grass. I think you
need to get outside for a few minutes because it
(16:13):
was terrible but fun. One o'clock games, Okay, four o'clock games.
I think tonight's going to be good, and more importantly,
Monday Night football Eagles Packers is going to be absolutely incredible.
So we will return Tuesday afternoon right here on the
Action Network YouTube page when we talk NFL Week eleven.
Good luck with all your bets tonight, and we will
see you next time on the Favorite podcast presented by
