Speaker 1 (00:02):
Sunday Week thirteen wrapping up, Welcome to the Favorites, presented
by DraftKings.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
I'm your host, Brandon Kravitz, joined by my fellow degenerates
Kendra Middleton Stuckey, the Prime Minister of Degenerate Nation, nursing
his way back to health here. I hope you all
had a rock solid Thanksgiving. I hope that your process
of tossing leftovers is happening right now, because if not,

(00:36):
it's kind of gross. You know, we're a couple of
days past now. I think the expiration is about to hit.
We've got our goats, We've got our votes queued up,
our biggest takeaways from the Sunday Slate. The one o'clock's
the four o'clocks in a fast pass parlay for you
for Monday Night Football, Patriots and Giants. We'll get you
in and out before Sunday Night Football begins. Commanders, Broncos,

(00:58):
Tonight Ken. Where do you land on tossing those leftovers
by Sunday? I feel like Sundays the absolute drop dead
date on Thanksgiving leftovers.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Okay, I'm not a leftover person at all.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
I actually hate leftovers. I will not eat them. I
do not meal prep for this purpose. I think forty
eight hours and they gotta go, especially if you didn't
make them in your own home and you don't know
when or where or how somebody else cooked them.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Get them out see you later.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
You get one sandwich, maybe two, and they gotta go,
unless it's macaroni and you can, you know, cook some
chicken up and put some buffalo sauce on that.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
John good to go, stucky.

Speaker 5 (01:39):
Yeah, I had to rely on leftovers this Thanksgivings. Couldn't
eat on Thanksgiving, but I did. My wife brought home
like two big trays, like you know those big trays
that they filled her in laws filled with a bunch
of just a bunch of sides and food. And in

(02:02):
there her mom was very aloof put in some oyster casserole.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
I know that's where this was going.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
Why, yes, which which is fun that that if you
listen to our other episodes, you know why that's funny.
But it was just mixed into the green beans. And
my wife was pregnant, is deathly allergic to oysters. So
luckily I looked and scooped out some green beans and

(02:32):
then noticed that there was some oysters in there. So
uh yeah, saved her from like it would have been
a disaster.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Like anaphyloxis, like as a photo allergy human I I can't.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
That'sk my biggest sphere of no thank you.

Speaker 6 (02:48):
So how you how are you feeling stucky? By the way,
You're doing good?

Speaker 5 (02:52):
Uh yeah, I'm okay. I did, like the this morning,
I broke, like the when you when you break the
you know, like you're really really sick and then you
break like the cold sweat and then like it just
feels like So that happened this morning, which was very nice.
Uh So, yeah, I just need like one more one

(03:16):
more like really hard day of rest, I think, and
then I'll be okay. But I taught well, Yeah, I
lost this past week. I lost all my money on bats.
I lost a bunch of weight, and yeah I threw
I threw out, but I threw out a bunch of
the leftovers. Last night. I did have a duck. My

(03:37):
wife made an extra duck that I got to eat yesterday,
so that was nice. But yeah, it's I think the
leftovers are up. I used to I didn't get to
make a sandwich. I used to like making the the
turkey and the stuffing and the cranberry, uh, making a sandwich.
So but I didn't get to do that. I think, like,
do you guys have capriotes around you?

Speaker 3 (03:58):
I know what it is.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
It's like a sandwich shop. They have like a I
like to make what they call it's called like the
I think it's called the Bobby. And that's like the
cranberry sauce lines, the HOGI roll and then stuffing and
then turkey. It's uh, it's very good. I didn't get
to do one of those this year.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Ducky does look like Rocky Balboa, like right before his
training is about to turn the corner.

Speaker 5 (04:22):
I'm cold. I got a right look, I'm cold.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
I'm trying to so skinny. I can get over it.
His face is so skinny.

Speaker 6 (04:29):
Let's get to our recap.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
This will be very fast as far as our parlay goes,
because what a tank job this was. We had the
Rams minus ten, I had the Colts. It was my
nominee at minus four, and we're still waiting on the
Giants plus seven and a half from Stucky. But of
course that it doesn't matter for the sake of the
two Kings and a queen parlay.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
We all had a terrible week.

Speaker 6 (04:54):
It was awful. This was the worst NFL betting week.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Thank god I had a good Thanksgiving and I went
on a little staycation in the Orlando area with my family.
Otherwise I'd be in sheer depression right now. That I
went oh and seven today in the NFL. Absolutely wow.
I'll start with my goat to spend this positive. We
lost on the Rams bet. I didn't like it, but hey,
I'm a team guy, so I bought in.

Speaker 6 (05:20):
I did not.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Bet the Panthers off to the side, just to you know,
go with my original gut play. But they covered and one.
This is now twice that and we just have to
give credit where credit is due here. This Panthers team,
especially as an underdog, is one that we have to
take seriously twice this season winning as a double digit dog.

Speaker 6 (05:41):
And as much as we've shit.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
On Bryce Young throughout his career early on, I was
amazed when I saw this. He's now the the youngest
player in NFL history to complete eleven game winning drives
as a quarterback. He beat out Josh Allen and Peyton
Manning in that regard. Kendra, what do you have to
say or your sad cats and the La Rui.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
We talked about this pre show, and I was telling
you that I did not realize I had my two
biggest plays that I have harped on on my other
show for months now that I believe I put in
around August.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
I had the Panthers over on the season at six
and a half that hit today.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
I did have a bet on the Rams today which
was my leg of the parlay, obviously, which did not hit.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
But I didn't realize until somebody tweeted.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
Me that my Rams over from preseason could have hit
today as well. I thought I got it at ten
and a half, but I gave it out at nine
and a half, went back and checked because I thought
that that person was mistaken. They were not, so either way,
I was hitting a big future today but totally got
killed by the Rams. Still love my Sad Cats, Still
a sad Cat Truther cashed out in that way today,

(06:50):
Happy to take it, but man, I really think that
we have to start as a society taking the Panthers seriously.

Speaker 5 (06:58):
Now.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Even though I love the Rams, it doesn't change my
opinion on the season that they're having, the season Matt
Stafford's having and the trajectory that I think that they're
on for the postseason. But I think it just says
a lot more about the Panthers right now. And I
really do think that they're one of these teams where they're.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Successful because it seems like they like each other. They're
like the Patriots to.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
Me, Like, not only did they kind of make a
leap as far as you know, getting a little bit
better on some of their picks that they've taken in
the last couple of years this offseason, Bryce Sen's obviously
gotten a lot better since he got benched and came
back last year. But I think that this team truly
just does like each other, which helps in a weird way.

Speaker 5 (07:36):
I will say that it was an impressive one, especially
when you consider everyone that they were missing on defense,
like they were decimated. But I will say, like a
lot of when you're betting on football, a lot of
times it comes down to like five or six plays,
right like in over the course of the game, fourth
downs and turnovers. The bad Tho's got three turnovers. They
got the pick six Stafford through a pick in the

(08:00):
red zone. He only had I think he only had
two picks all season coming into the year, and he
had two today, and then the Panthers went three of
three on fourth down. I think they scored two touchdowns
on fourth down. You got to give credit down for
those throws. But you win the turnover margin three nothing
and you get two touchdowns on fourth downs where you
go three of three different game, you swing you know,

(08:23):
two of those six plays, it's a completely different game.
The Rams still did average I think seven or eight
yards per play and moved the ball out will But
you have to give credit to the Panthers on a
short week getting that win. The Rams are still one
of the best teams in the NFL. Doesn't change anything.
It's similar to like the when the Packers lost to
the Panthers. Uh so, yeah, credits to the Panthers were winning,

(08:44):
but we're barring the lead. We didn't even bring up
the other cats, the Jaguars, who are now in first place,
the Jags. So now you're back on the Jag I
told I tried to tell Jacks aren't going away.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
I'll put words in my mouth. I don't think that.
I think they're gonna have a first round exit in
the playoffs unless they play the Patriots.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
First round.

Speaker 6 (09:09):
First round.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Oh yeah, the playoffs. Yeah, the pe Yeah, yeah, oh yeah.
I think, honestly, this is gonna be my hot take.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
I think three AFC South teams could make the postseason as.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
Of right now. That's I think that's what it would be.

Speaker 6 (09:24):
Well my uh my wote.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Actually, I'll just go ahead and empty the tank here
for myself because my vote ties in perfectly with what
we're talking about here, and.

Speaker 6 (09:33):
It's the Colts. The Armors cracking for them.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
This was such a cult spot back at home for
the first time in a month against a quarterback returning
from concussion. The Texans off the win of the year
in prime time and they wet the bed huge two
straight one possession losses for the Colts.

Speaker 6 (09:51):
And as it ties in with the.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Jacksonville Jaguars, of course, because they are division foes. The
Jags right now are and they're in a better position
than what I see with the Colts as far as
where these teams are trending right now. In Indianapolis, who
went from contending for the one seed to now they
might be the third best team in the division. I mean,

(10:15):
Houston looks like they're clearly the best team in the
AFC South. Jacksonville very well, could be the second best team,
not because of anything that happened today. They played the Titans,
but the Colts seem to be trending in the wrong
direction and Danny Dobbs doesn't look like the same guy.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
So here's the thing.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
JAG's easiest remaining schedule in the AFC South too a
sauce Gardner.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
They're saying it's a calf. I don't know. It looked
a little bit like an Achilles to me.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
Three, the Jags play the Colts at home next week,
and the Colts haven't won in Jacksonville in.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
Like a decade. I want to say it's close to
a decade.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
Literally, have not won in Jacksonville in a very very
long time. So I'm you, guys, the Jags might be
the play next week.

Speaker 5 (11:01):
Yeah, the Jags host the Colts. I didn't misspeak because
the Bills beat the Steelers. Bills just ran all over Pittsburgh.
If so, they're in the seventh spot right now. The
Texans are one game out, although they do have the
tiebreaker over the Bills, which is worth noting. So the

(11:21):
AFC South would only have two teams in right now.
But the Colts. Yeah, I mean I had the I
played the Colts today too. I was with you. I
thought Stroud looked looked good coming back off the concussion.
Usually you see a dip. Although the Sauce Garner injury
did change things. I mean he got hurt right away,
and that changes the entire complexion of like how dominant
of a defense they could be. I thought you saw

(11:43):
the loss of Buckner as well, But what do you
The whole Texans offensive operation looks much more serious now.
And I thought Stroud played better, and I thought Jones
played okay given the circuits. I mean he's playing on
a fractioned leg and against that Houston's and what ended
up really costing the Colts. There was a questional p I.

(12:04):
I thought the Texans were the better team throughout the game,
but the miss extra point early in the game, because
we talk about you don't miss that. You can kick
the field goal late, you can kick the field goal
to tide at the end.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
I think he missed that kick, by the way.

Speaker 6 (12:18):
Yeah, weird that.

Speaker 5 (12:22):
I didn't think that that went in. They were showing
the I don't know what the ref I saw that
we were showing the replay of it. I don't know
I didn't have it on sound. I don't know what
the TV ref was saying, but yeah, that didn't look
like it went in.

Speaker 6 (12:34):
But uh, A.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
Big play by play guy was so confused because he
called it a miss on the actual play by play
in the moment and was and then they put the
point on the board and he goes, uh what.

Speaker 6 (12:47):
There was a lot of confusion in that.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
I agree, as far as you know the the Texans
were the better team throughout the fact that they were
able to run tough, which is not something that they've
been equipped at doing this year. Their backs, Woody Marks,
washed up, Nick Chubb. They should not be able to
run the ball down your throat. They didn't score a
ton of points, but it seemed like whenever they needed

(13:10):
that key first down they got it against this Colts team.
Sixteen points for Indianapolis on their home turf.

Speaker 6 (13:16):
I just this.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
I was already not the biggest Colts believer. I thought
this was a good week to buy in on them,
But I'm a right back to I will be a
firm cult hater after watching this all go down the
way that it did. So all right, you guys, floor
is yours, goats and wotes for today, Stucky, Who do
you have wote?

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Is me?

Speaker 5 (13:35):
I haven't want one of that week's goat? Is I
guess I'll say, I'll bet I wonted that I probably deserved,
didn't deserve? When was the Saints so Devon Veley for catching? Uh?
He had a big end of the Actually, no, you
know I should say that my goat is Kooy McKinstry

(13:57):
because on fourth and one he made a big tackle
that gave him the ball back. And then the Saints
and you know, actually we should shout out who's just fun?
I don't I forget his name? Now the Saints who
have had major kicker issues. Who's the Irish guy? What's
his name?

Speaker 6 (14:20):
I do not know his name off the top of
my head.

Speaker 5 (14:22):
Is it Smithe or I don't even know how you
pronounce it, Charlie Smythe or Smith? I think it's I
don't even know. He's Irish. He's part of the international program,
his first his first kick and then by the way,
saw Squardner. They're saying, I think he said he might
should be okay, he thinks that. I think he's They

(14:43):
said he's gonna be week to week, But this guy,
This Irish guy. He kicked the fifty six yarder as
his first field goal in the NFL, and then he
had like the perfect on side kick, but the Saints
ended up getting stopped on fourth and one. So shout
out to the Saints. It was a pretty boor r
NFL game. NFL that that was an exciting finish. And

(15:06):
the other one was Jets Falcons. I mean, Nick Folk
all pro, what a kick at the end. He missed
one his first one earlier in the game, but the
Jets get the win over the Falcons, who are now
in the dirt officially.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
Yeah to Rod Taylor proves yet again to be a
functional starting quarterback.

Speaker 6 (15:27):
He is significantly better than Justin Fields.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
I know this is a conversation that will track us
back to I think week three or week four that
there is no.

Speaker 6 (15:35):
Debate anymore about that.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
I'm seeing that we have a broken hand for Justin Herbert.
That's not his throwing hand, right what that's we're going
that apo hand.

Speaker 5 (15:52):
I think that Herbert, by the way, next week is huge,
a huge game for the Chargers. Next week's in the
NFL is really good because you have Texans Chiefs. You
could argue that ends up being like an elimination game,
especially when you consider the tie breaker Texans at seven

(16:13):
and five, Chiefs at six and six, Eagles at Chargers.
I mean they're both at eight and four, but the
Chargers this is their remaining schedule, like they knew that
they had to build up wins. The Chargers are home
against the Eagles, then they're at the Chiefs, at the Cowboys,
which is now looks much tougher, home against the Texans,

(16:35):
which now looks much tougher, and then at the Broncos. Like,
none of those are gimmes, so the next week's game
becomes super important for them and the Eagles all of
a sudden, like do they have to worry about the
Cowboys and the division? Yeah? So hopefully for Chargers fans,
they don't have to see Trey Lance because Herbert made

(16:56):
things happen. It was the Raiders. But that offensive.

Speaker 7 (16:58):
Line, baby, it is confirmed that it is the left hand,
but uh, it'll have until we'll have until Monday to
figure that one out.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
For the For the fantasy fiends out there, you may
want to just slide somebody else in because you're probably
not going to.

Speaker 6 (17:15):
Know right away.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Kendrick what about you before we move on goats and
wotes on the Sunday Slate.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
My goat, we already talked about the jag, So I'm
going to specifically say Leaquin Allen for telling Jeffrey Simmons
to stuck his dick.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
That is my goat. My vote is going to be
Max Brosmer.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
Because yeah, obvious reasons.

Speaker 6 (17:36):
You guys were way too excited about him.

Speaker 5 (17:39):
I also, uh it was I mean, he was down
three offensive linemen against Seattle in Seattle. Should have known
how that was going to go.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
But uh, yeah, it was only about I want today.

Speaker 5 (17:54):
I didn't think it could be worse than McCarthy. But yeah,
bros has been finished as nineteen of thirty one twenty
six four interceptions.

Speaker 4 (18:04):
That pick six was so Wills it was painful.

Speaker 5 (18:10):
That was a Will Levis special. Other one Will Levis
make a million times. You just can't like, you just
can't hold it.

Speaker 6 (18:20):
Just hold it, take the sack. You're not a hero.

Speaker 5 (18:23):
Just lay down. You wan't going to score. And that
kind of flipped it. That flipped the game, because the
thing is is that the the like if you used
in the Steelers game, the game flipped when Rogers got
sacked and it was and it was a defensive touchdown.
But throughout that whole game, the Bills were moving the
ball on the ground. The Steelers the Seahawks were not

(18:45):
moving the ball. I mean, they averaged three point five
yards per play. They had two hundred total yards the
floor as was in his bag like it was. It
was tough for Donald. He was under pressure whenever he
dropped back and he was running for his life. You
have to just stay in that game in a defensive battle,

(19:06):
and that was the worst possible thing he could have done.
It was because it was it was three nothing, right, Yeah,
it was three nothing in at the end of the
first half. It's three nothing with three to go, and
that flipped the entire game round. So yeah, not a
great debut for Max Prosmer.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
My other vote is going to be Lane Kiffen and
my other honorary.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Regoat is going to be the reporter. They called him
a hoe because I love that kid, Long live that kid.
Justice for that kid. Lane Kiffin is a ho.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
I thought I was having a fever dream when I
saw that story play itself out.

Speaker 6 (19:44):
There was Porter in the back and forth and then he's.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Going up to the guy and uh yeah, I do
a sports talk radio show every afternoon in Orlando, Florida.
We cover the whole state, and the Lane Kiffin stuff
is going to take over. That's gonna be I'm just
gonna do three hours on Lane Kiffin tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
Elbody getting on the plane with him from his staff
except his brother, and then people showing up to boo him.
There was a mom that showed up with like a
six months old six month old baby who showed.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Up to boo him getting on that plane. Elite. I
love the sec. It just means more holy crap.

Speaker 5 (20:22):
Ls LSU is at ole Miss next year, which I think.

Speaker 6 (20:27):
I think it's an I think you might have to
coach in a box.

Speaker 5 (20:30):
I think it'll be in September. That'll be quite the scene.
But yeah, that's a crazy story heading into the college
flawll playoff, which they need to just change the structure
their schedule, Like you have these you might there's now
three playoff teams that could protect well North Texas. I
think they're going to stay until the end of the year,
but like they're in the in the mix. Their coach

(20:51):
was just hired tu Lane. Their coach was just hired,
and then Lane Kiffin this whole drama like it's it's insane,
it's it's ultimately bad for the sport, like can we
stay in this season before we get to next season?
But getting back to the NFL. The the other game
I wanted to mention again fourth downs and turnovers, Browns

(21:13):
forty nine ers. Chador was okay, he took too many
bad sacks. I mean he had like forty yards of
sacks on three sacks. But they the Browns. I think
the Browns out game the forty nine ers. They both
averaged like four yards per play. Their defense came to play,
but the Browns are zero four and fourth down they
dropped one, dropped the snap in their own territory. They

(21:33):
muffed a punt. But the forty nine ers made enough plays.
That's not an easy place to play, not an easy
defense to go up against in those conditions, So you
have to give them credit for getting the win. But
ugly game. The Browns just fourth downs mistakes and the
forty nine ers get the win despite not doing much
on offense.

Speaker 6 (21:54):
The forty nine ers knew what they were doing.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
They were not sending anybody extra chaudor sand They were saying,
you're gonna have to beat the secondary.

Speaker 6 (22:03):
They they knew that they.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
Could just send three and and then see if Shador
Sanders would be able to pick them apart, which he
wasn't able to. Next Gen shared a stat that this
was the most time that any Browns quarterback had had
in the pocket all season long, and it was purposeful.

Speaker 5 (22:22):
Pressure pressure, but they didn't Yeah, they were just sitting
back in those zones. The Browns did have some success
running the ball, but ultimately you can't go four and
four thouns and muff a punt. By the way, the
other games I wanted to mention for next week, Oh,
Brown's Brown's hosting the Titans. That'll be a doozy, especially
if there's weather. Uh. Steelers Ravens is now for first

(22:46):
place in the division.

Speaker 6 (22:49):
And then you have Chi disgusting six and six that's crazy.

Speaker 5 (22:54):
Jaggs Colts for first place. And then I mentioned Texans
Chiefs and the Eagles Chargers. So there's some big games
and now like Lions Cowboys. It's crazy to say, but
is that close to an elimination game? Because if the
Lions now the Cowboys have a tie, so head to

(23:16):
heads don't matter. But the Cowboys would leap frog the
Lions now, but they're both two back. Like if you
look at the NFC playoff picture right now, the I
think the forty nine ers or what not, they have
nine wins. Yeah, they have nine wins. So the Lions
are the first team out. They have seven wins. There

(23:37):
are two full games back. You lose this game. Forty
nine Ers are on a bye, you're three games back
going into week fifteen. And if the Cowboys want to
make a push like every single game, obviously, sitting at
six to five and one is huge. So that's a
Thursday night game. So yeah, some really really big game

(24:00):
in the NFL that will determined I think playoff spots
next week.

Speaker 6 (24:04):
And some fascinating lines that go with at stucky.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
You have the Cowboys that plus three against the Detroit
team that's reeling right now, has been staring at me
in the face the last couple of days. You get
the Steelers potentially a plus six and a half with
the whole Tomlin as a as a dog.

Speaker 5 (24:22):
Two broken, two broken teams right now. I mean you
saw Rogers today, they had to just go pistol the
entire game which makes their offense very predictable. And I
mean they just got run over. I mean it was
the Bills set an NFL record or excuse me, a
Steel a record in that stadium for most rush yards.
I mean they were running the same two rush plays

(24:43):
over and over again. The Steeers couldn't do anything about it.
Steeers had some defensive injuries worth noting today as well.
But yeah, Rogers with that hand and.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
Just the nose, the nose really sad. The shot of
him sitting on the and it's just.

Speaker 5 (25:00):
It's right now is broken too. Like their offensive line
is not blocking well. Lamar doesn't have the same burst.
They have issues in the red zone. So yeah, that
that's uh. That could end up being a classic Ravens
Steel nineteen sixteen type of game.

Speaker 4 (25:21):
We make a quick note here, We were talking about
this before we got on as well. Next year we
need to wait until the absolute last second to put
our bets in for Thanksgiving, because what a disaster. I
might even take Thanksgiving off next year. The quick turnaround
for so many teams is just too much to be
able to accurately I think predict anything.

Speaker 5 (25:43):
Well, you mentioned the quick turnaround. We have to we
have to give, we have to give. We didn't mention
Thanksgiving games. Packers impressive. I thought the Floor coached a
really good game. But the Bears season ended today the Bears.

(26:04):
Bears would be the one seed in the NFC. The
one seed the Bears. They just ran all over the
Eagles from start to finish. Ben Johnson, in my opinion,
as the coach of the year. And yeah, their defense,
their defense can free Wieners. Their their defense continues to

(26:26):
get turnover luck. And they had an easy schedule, and
they won some games that they probably shouldn't have in
the last minute, but they survived that stretch. And here's
the thing they got. Their defense is now getting healthier.
So the Bears with that run game, and if Caleb
Williams continues to grasp that offense, their defense gets healthier.

(26:48):
The turnover luck isn't going to last forever.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
But you have color will he nails be for the
Super Bowl?

Speaker 5 (26:56):
What?

Speaker 3 (26:56):
What color will his nails be for the Super Bowl?
Do you think we can gamble on it?

Speaker 6 (27:00):
Where's the super Bowl?

Speaker 5 (27:01):
The Super Bowl logo this year?

Speaker 3 (27:03):
It's in San Francisco. I don't know what it is.

Speaker 6 (27:06):
Let's go red let's go red on the nail polish. Then.

Speaker 5 (27:08):
Do you know those people that always say that there's
like a conspiracy with the logo? I've ever seen that?

Speaker 6 (27:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (27:14):
Yeah, every year the color of the Super Bowl logo
predicts the matchup.

Speaker 5 (27:19):
Yeah, wasn't last year.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
Didn't last year there was purple. The Ravens didn't make it.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
Heee, okay, yeah.

Speaker 6 (27:26):
It's people.

Speaker 5 (27:27):
People think there's conspiracies for everything. This year, it's am
I looking at this one right, it looks like it's rainbow.

Speaker 3 (27:35):
Oh my god, it is Williams.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
You guys, the super Bowl.

Speaker 6 (27:40):
I don't care how big of a football fan you are.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
Nobody knows what number Super Bowl were on unless you
look it up.

Speaker 6 (27:46):
Nobody.

Speaker 3 (27:48):
Yeah, you guys, wait, this is so Cuteye, I love it.
I'm a big Kayleb Williams fan. So whatever.

Speaker 5 (27:54):
Anyways, So I would say blue and yellow? Is that?
Did we stretch that to the Jaguars.

Speaker 6 (28:02):
Lou and the yellow Lions? Jagged?

Speaker 5 (28:06):
There's some blue and some brownish yellow.

Speaker 6 (28:10):
Maybe that's the Rams Patriots Rams again?

Speaker 5 (28:15):
Who would pink be?

Speaker 6 (28:17):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (28:18):
I got I got the author Like. Check out reddit
and see what the Super Bowl logo conspiracy people are saying,
but all right, you gotta toss to I do.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
I want to wrap the the original point that Kendra
is making. I wrote this exact note to myself before
we even discussed it, before we went live.

Speaker 6 (28:37):
Go lighter around Thanksgiving, not a bad idea.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
Attention is split, We're not as focused, We're forcing plays.
Take that for what it's worth. If you also had
a shitty day of betting, and then we'll be better
next year as a community. Before we get the Sunday
Night football, let's toss to Kendra about a word from DraftKings.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
Broncos at Commanders you get the Commanders catching six and
a half here totals at forty three.

Speaker 6 (29:39):
And a half.

Speaker 2 (29:41):
I will be taking the night off after the beatdown
that was Week thirteen. But Kendra, are we on anything here?

Speaker 3 (29:49):
Oh no, I hate this game so much.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
Ill No, I'm going to clean my apartment and unpack
and have this on his background noise.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
Terry McLaurin is back. Daniels might be returning in week fourteen.
Seventy seven percent of the bets seventy two percent of
the money on the Denver Broncos. What about you, stucky?

Speaker 5 (30:10):
Yeah, I bet the Commanders. Although I've I've been cold.
It is better at America, so I would maybe that
means to bet uh Denver, But I don't know. I
just think the line's a little too high. This is
kind of this is everything that I bet in the NFL.
By low sell high. I mean, I think we're at
the peak of the market. On the Broncos. They've bought,
they've won. Whatt eighth straight. They haven't won a game

(30:32):
by more than three points on the road or even
away from home if you include the Jets by more
than four points all year, include the Jets when they
threw for negative ten passing yards with justin fields, and
I think we're probably close to the bottom of the market.
On the Commanders, they've there aren't an extended losing streak.
The one thing I'm counting on, I mean, Mariota is
still a functional backup. You have McLaurin back, Sirtanda's back,

(30:56):
which isn't which is which does give a boost to
the Denver defense. Obviously you can shut down one side
of the field. He gives some ultimate flexibility. But I'm
counting on the Commander's defense just looking more professional under
with dan Quinn calling the place, I think that they looked.
They did a decent job against Miami. Now you can
say it's Miami, that's fair, but just structurally, communication wise,

(31:18):
it look better. So coming out of the buy, it's
this is still bon Nix is He's still been, you know,
a bottom three quarterback in success right over the first
three quarters. A team that struggles to build margin, a
team that struggles to build margin against really bad teams
and the Jets the Raiders at home. You might have
some weather here. I haven't seen an updated weather forecast,

(31:38):
but that that could serve as a neutralizer. But yeah,
I took the six points. Probably we'll regret it, but
I did bet that. By the way, I found a threat.
Everyone is saying the background of that mum is purple.
So everyone was saying Ravens Lions. That's the consensus.

Speaker 6 (31:55):
From the conspiracy. Yeah, looking great logo. I just want
a long shot for the day.

Speaker 5 (32:02):
Maybe uh Ben's a touchdown.

Speaker 6 (32:05):
Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
That's the one when I throw two dollars on that,
see if I can save the afternoon. All right, let's
get to our draft Kings Monday night football fast pass
parlay before we settle in for the night game or
cleaning our apartment or cleaning out the refrigerator or whatever
it is you're doing tonight.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
I guess we.

Speaker 2 (32:33):
Gotta throw Giants plus seven and a half in there,
because that one's for Stucky. That was part of our parlay,
and we unfortunately did not get a chance to see
if that would be the one that cashed it for us.
So we get two thumbs up. On that Stucky before
Kendra and I add to the mix.

Speaker 5 (32:54):
Yeah, it's seven and a half. I think the Giants
are worth a look now it's you have dark coming
back from didn't see it with Strout today, but historically
you see a bit of a dip. But I think
the key here is the offensive line injuries for the Patriots.
They don't have great depth there going up against the
Giants defensive line, that could make a difference. So yeah,

(33:17):
from a side perspective, that's the only way I could look.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
So we all tend to be in a little bit
of agreement here as far as the Giants should be
able to give the Patriots a fight here, Giants plus
seven and a half, I'm gonna throw Jackson Dart anytime
touchdown in there. At plus three twenty five straight games
that he's played with a rushing touchdown seven on the season,

(33:41):
feel pretty good about that. If the Giants play well,
it's because he's still running around and being himself.

Speaker 6 (33:47):
I like him to get into the end zone. What
about you.

Speaker 4 (33:49):
Kendra Kravitz and I were filling out our notes at
the exact same time, and I was going to fill
that out as my pick for tonight, But then I
saw his rushing our total is twenty nine and a half.

Speaker 6 (34:01):
I love that.

Speaker 3 (34:01):
I think he's going to be on the run quite
a bit tomorrow night. He also is on the run.
Just in general, I feel like most weeks this feels
low to me. I like the twenty nine and a
half over.

Speaker 5 (34:11):
So all correlated very much so, but because I think that, Yeah,
Dark's the only thing I would worry about is if
Dart coming back from a concussion, he doesn't run as much.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
Where they there's no way that he feels that way though,
to use his.

Speaker 5 (34:26):
Likes and yeah, when he's near the goal line, that's
that's one of their most effective places him using his legs.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
Yeah, but that's where I think the uh we get
a little bit of a discount on him. I think
for that exact reason for that paranoia, because his rushing
yard number, I believe has set more in the mid
forties than at twenty nine and a half.

Speaker 6 (34:49):
So I think that that is very much baked in here.

Speaker 3 (34:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (34:52):
The number on that, by the way, plus.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
Eight hundred for the Giants, plus seven and a half
Jackson Dart anytime touchdown and Jackson Dart to record at
least thirty rushing yards. You can throw that in over
at DraftKings. The crown is yours. The Favorites will turn
next Tuesday afternoon right here on the Action Network YouTube
page when we talk NFL Week fourteen. Good luck with
