Speaker 2 (00:09):
Welcome to the Golfers Bomb Squad.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
I'm your host, Chris Finn, and today I want to
talk about a little look back at our first in
person Accelerator event that we did. We had fifteen people
from all over the country that flew in UH and
it was a really really fun three day experience UH
for these guys that came in. So the Accelerator, the

(00:31):
idea of it was to create a three day experience
for golfers all over the world to come in and
get to experience working with us in person. So people
who are not clients currently are coming in and getting evaluated,
figuring out what they should do, and leaving with a
plan of people who are currently clients having them in
basically to augment their training. So there's a full educational

(00:54):
component to it. Day one is very much understanding like
why we do things that we do, the research behind
what we do. You know, we actually are testing and
all the mobility and the strength and the power, and
then you know, actually understanding how to train, why you
train certain ways. We had a guest speaker. We had
Bobby Peterson come in and talk, which was awesome. He's

(01:15):
the world long drive coach for pretty much all the champions,
and he actually brought with him. We had two of
the top five world long drive competitors in here. Even
world number one, calling Casto was here, so all the
you know, basically all the attendees got to interact with
those guys, which was which was awesome, and he went
into depth on club fitting, understanding the driver from the
different parts of the driver, the chef, the head, the grips,

(01:38):
what are the differences between the two, kind of the
facts and the fallacies that are out there, a lot
of the miss and things that just really aren't troup.
So really that was really beneficial, huge value add for
everybody that was here. And then we went as a
group so it's actually it's cool. So we totally like
white gloves. So we have breakfast, catered, launch catered, I
we take, we have a bus, private bus takes us.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
So were the top golf.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
At the end of day one, we just hung out
there at dinner, drinks and actually it was actually cool
that the long drive guys came with us as we
watched them just hit bombs all over the place.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
It was pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
And then day two is all about really going through
kind of hands on so we have tons of tons
of different stations where they walk through they're doing swing testing,
force plate testing, uh, and then they're you know, that's
one station. We have another station where we like do
hands on you know, hip mobility, hip, you know, and
just kind of movement patterns, shoulder, we did thoracic and neck.
We had squat and hinge training, press training, pull training,

(02:32):
I mean, all of it. It was so much fun
of it was And so that's like the entire day
day two, and then we got into our core four
and understanding swing efficiencies trainings on that.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
It was it was really really cool.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
So those those first by the end of the day too,
everybody's kind of brains are mush in terms of all
the information that you know, they've been taking notes and
the binders and everything that we give them. But it's
so cool because at the end of the two days,
everybody leaves knowing exactly where they stand, exactly how they
compare to other people their age. They have updates to
their plans if they're already working with us. If you

(03:10):
come to one of these and you're and you're not
working with us, you know you have a plan. You
know what the heck you should be doing and it
was you know, just in those two days. It's so
cool to see and we had golfers of all skill
levels from pluses to you know, twenty plus handicaps, all
just trying to get better. It was really cool. We
had a couple of guys who had some issues going on.
We were able to just kind of pull in one

(03:31):
of our physical therapists and they were able to pop
into a quick golf physical therapy session, kind of get
some stuff cleaned up. And which is which is It's
just cool when you have just so many passionate people
come to your home basically, and our family here was
able to take care of them. And then you know,
I think the biggest wins from the event are the standouts.

(03:52):
To me, probably the thing that I just consistently kept
hearing from everybody was, man, I wish I did this earlier.
Man coming in and like as good as it is,
you know to work well. We had a number of
guys that work with us remotely, you know, from all
over the world, and they'd be like, man, as good
as the coaching is and everything is online, like coming
in this it was funny because it's we called the
accelerator and they're like, I feel like I just like,

(04:13):
I feel like it's just accelerated my progress.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
So it's cool to hear.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
People using that word, that terminology and and just that
word track of it just you know, the I guess
I would say condensed or how like value packed it
was for them and the way that we not only
layered in the education of understanding why they're they're doing
things in certain ways, but also go do it and

(04:37):
this is what you need to do. And they left with,
you know, not like a thousand things to do. They
left with here a couple of the most important things
that you need to do. It just really hit with them.
Of like, it was cool that that was kind of
the I'd say the one big takeaway. The other big
takeaway was the third day of the event, we go
over to Old Chatham Golf Club, which is the premiere

(04:59):
kind of elite club.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Here in the the Raley Durham area.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
We go over, we had lunch and then we go
out and play with Caddi's whole nine yards. It was
cool sitting at the table before going out, had like
kind of like a brunch kind of eleven eleven o'clock.
We teed off, you know, between twelve and one, and
just all the guys sitting around the table and just
what's your favorite golf course? What trips have you gone on?

(05:25):
One guy's like, hey, well let me know the next
time you're going on a golf trip. You know, you
got a space spot I want to get with you.
Just the camaraderie that was developed.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
It was really cool. Just guys.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
All of these people knew literally not soul here and
when they left, they left with you know, fourteen other
golf golf friends. You know, guys they can play golf with,
different parts of the country, different clubs that they can
go visit.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
It was it was pretty special. You know.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
I think that that to me, there was probably the
two biggest takeaways I think as I think through because
you know, just to give you some value listening, like
the common issues that we that I came away with
that the golfers have when they came to this, and
this is you know, even golfers that are working with us,
the idea that we just need to be reminded more

(06:15):
than we need to be taught. You know, a lot
of these guys have been working with us for a
little bit. Some of them had not been and it
didn't matter. They just going over things that they've already
been told or already been showed, that they've already been doing,
and just tweaking and just reminding them like this is
the exact way to do it that this little tweak there.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
What.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Like, there wasn't any major thing that it was like
you know, light bulb moment like a lot of you
know what I mean, There wasn't any of that that
that went on. It was just so many little moments
of that makes sense, Oh that's different, Like oh do
this first and then do that. Oh okay, and that
makes a difference. Yeah, Like it was so many of
those little things that really kind of just it just

(06:57):
transcended across everybody that was That was really really cool.
I think probably this is actually one of the more
unexpected things that came up. Was at issue was one
of the guys that had been coming for a little
bit and he's like, I think I got the shoulder
thing that's going on. So we actually got went and
looked at him and his shoulder shoulder, shoulder, shoulder, and

(07:18):
then we start really looking at it's actually all coming
from his thoracic spine issues and kind of helping him
really see like, actually, you don't have shoulder problem whatsoever
from your shoulders, just trying to compensate for the lack
of mobility up through the thoracic spine, which is the
upper back. Right, it's fine between your shoulder blades. So
really kind of forgiving being able to give him that
insight and kind of I would say, blow his mind,

(07:39):
but that's literally how he looked like his mind has
just been blown. I think no matter how much people
think that they know, there's always these moments when it's
you just miss it. It's hard when it's yourself, and
just to be able to be evaluated objectively and figure out.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
What it is is always is always huge.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
I think thinking through the weekend it was was impactful
for me. As guys were leaving, was the biggest most
COmON questions was the next one?

Speaker 2 (08:03):
What's next?

Speaker 1 (08:03):
And I think that's something I've always struggled with as
we've grown. First golf has been you know, we started
out the first thing was like how do we get
people to work with us?

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Right? And we figure that out.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
And then it's okay, now, how do we make sure
we get them good results, right, And we did that,
and then it was okay, now we're getting them all
these good results.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
It's probably the last two years or so just.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Became evident, like like you know, smacking you across the
face as we scaled, and you know, you get your
work with over a thousand people across the world, and
like it's I don't want to say it's easy at
this point, but it's kind of easy now where it's like,
all right, we know everybody, if they do what we
tell them's gaining ten yards in the first ten weeks.
We know everybody's getting twenty yards in the first year.
Just do what we tell you to do. We know

(08:43):
we're fixing the mobility. We know you're going to your
pain's gonna be gone. Like it then became like then
guys were like, okay, like what's next.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Huh?

Speaker 1 (08:51):
You know, we don't really have what's next at this point.
And so that's where I think we started really looking, right, so,
what's the next problem that we cause? Right, we fix
this album, their bodies move really well, now they're feeling better.
What's the next problem, right? And so that's where we've
you know, we've had We've really kind of laid out
these strategic partnerships where we have you know, golf instructors
like Adam Young that we can connect with. We have

(09:13):
three d AI apps that you know, like Mustard Golf
that all our clients are using. Now you know, we've
partner on the nutritional side with Momentous, which is great
in terms of them being able to just to be
able to offer that to our clients. And that's just
to name a few. But I think really truly what
became evident to me at the end was this is
this is the big next step is doing these in

(09:34):
person events. And that's where you know, we've committed to
this point. We've already were marking up the calendar. We've
got one every single month this year for people to
come in or your current clients, whether you're not clients,
you just want to get better. Uh, this is a
place where we're gonna be able.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
To do that. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
So I was a you know, if anybody is interested
in coming to these, my marketing director, be bad if I
don't at least say yeah, big a comment, this a note,
you know, just you can go to you know, parpsuccess
dot com and obviously you can, you can shoot us
notes there. But you know, I think the the biggest
thing that I, if I can, I don't think can

(10:13):
be overstated is the the comments that came in of like, man,
I just wish that I had come in earlier. I
wish I'd started earlier. We hear that all the time
online and it just kind of was magnified for these
in person experiences, you know, So I really encourage you guys.
I mean, these these things are are awesome. There's so
much fun. You know, all food is included, all the
drinks are included, and we had a barista in the mornings.

(10:36):
I see you have like you know, fancy custom coffees
and malttes and breakfasts, lunch, you know, dinner. You know,
we go to Top Golf, you have that whole experience.
Get's go to the top golf course and you know,
in the Rally Durham area, and I'll chat them in
terms of you can't get on there unless unless you're
coming with a.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Member or over with us. Just it was a really
cool experience.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
So anyone who's who's been thinking of maybe you know,
getting involved or thinking about maybe you work with us
remotely and you're listening to this and you're like, I
don't know what, I don't know if it's for me,
like it's for you, trust me, it's awesome. Selfishly, for me,
there's no cooler thing than getting to meet people in
real life, shake hands, uh and and just you know,
see it in your eyes when you're leaving that you

(11:18):
know a difference has been made in your life is
better for it.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
And then that's that's why we do what we do. Anyway,
it was pretty awesome experience.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Hopefully that was kind of you know, insightful for you
guys in terms of what we're gonna be doing these
again every single month. If you're interested in common, you know,
