Speaker 1 (00:00):
Can't. I am six forty.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
You're listening to the John Cobelt podcast on the iHeartRadio app.
You can follow us at John Cobelt Radio on social media,
trying to get to twenty five thousand followers John Cobelt
Radio on all social media platforms and we are on
every day from one until four o'clock. Well, Carl Demyo
was on this several weeks ago until they threw him

(00:23):
off the budget committee. He figured out that the amount
of money that Gavin Newsom is spending on healthcare is
way more than they estimated. Specifically the healthcare for illegal aliens.
It was supposed to be over six billion dollars according
to last summer's budget estimate. It's now nine and a

(00:46):
half billion dollars. And now Newsom is getting a loan
of three and a half billion dollars because nobody apparently
nobody expected illegal alien healthcare to cost this month much.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
And why are we doing it?

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Because our government is run by fanatics, by progressive lunatics
that you elect. And so what do they do. They
decide to give cradle to grave illegal al and health
care to anybody who crosses the border into our state.
And now we're stuck with this into eternity. Let's get

(01:24):
Karl to Maayan, the Republican Assemblymen from San Diego, Garl.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
And John I'm seeking to you from the Capitol. So
if it's a little loud, it's because they're still having
legislative session. But I stepped out because this is important.
The public deserves to know that the healthcare of low income,
the neediest Californias people ad are below the poverty line.
Their healthcare is now in jeopardy because Medical the program

(01:52):
that covers their health expenses, is in financial insolvency because
Governor Gavin Newsom and California Democrats gave away the store.
They gave taxpayer funded free health care handouts to illegal immigrants,
and they lied. A year ago, Newsom said it would
only cost six point five billion. I was able to
shine a light on the actual number. It's nine point

(02:15):
five billion in counting. He said that we would be reimbursed,
and yet again in that same hearing, we were able
to drag it out of him that actually it's the
general fund of the state that is being saddled with
this cost, not the federal government through reimbursements. One out
of four medical dollars in the state's general fund budget

(02:38):
is now handed to an illegal immigrant one out of
four general fund medical dollars. That is insane. It is
so offensive. And again we just found out on Thursday
that because of all these giveaways and the massive costs
bite for health care for illegal immigrants, we now see
the medical system is insolvent and there was an emergency

(03:01):
loan that Newsom had to hand out to that program.
They don't have money to pay the invoices for doctors, nurses,
hospitals for citizen healthcare, and so they're going and doing
an emergency loan to keep the program running. I am
telling you this is just the beginning of the crisis.
It's going to get worse until they finally wake up

(03:21):
and stop the taxpayer funded handouts to i llegal immigrants.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
I just got a flat out stop. Is there any
talk of doing this? They can't know, the math doesn't work.
They can't keep doing it, not another day.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Yeah. The reason why they took me off the Budget
committee is that we were literally exposing this step by step,
and they think by taking off the Budget Committee, we're
going to back down and be quiet.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Now.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
I don't need to be on the committee to shine
a big old spotlight on their corruption. They're wasteful spending.
So we've been getting this out now in the form
of press conferences, and last Thursday I did a press
conference in the morning exposing the insolvency issues that have
been created in medical Now, let me be very clear,

(04:07):
Democrats say that Donald Trump is undermining Medicaid and medicare.
The only politicians in this country that have truly undermined
medical Medicaid for the neediest of amongst us are California
politicians who gave away our health care money to illegal immigrants,
and they refuse to do anything to fix the problem.

(04:29):
That's a fact. We've exposed what they've done. They're putting
poor people at risk and they should be held accountable.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Trump's not going to pay for this, I mean as
so as soon as they get into a position to
cut the funding to California, they're going to for Medicaid
because there's no way that Trump is going to pay
for illegal alien health career.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
That is exactly true, and President Trump has said that
they will not reimburse for these expenses. The reason why
I say that the the loans that they're now issuing
are just the first of many multi billion dollar bailouts.
Is because President Trump still in his administration, they're sitting
on about two billion dollars of invoices from California that

(05:13):
they're going to reject. And so the three billion dollar
loan that we saw this week is going to turn
very quickly into a six to seven to eight to
ten billion dollar bailout. We don't have that money. It's
just plain and simple. Plus, I've asked the Trumpet Administration
Center for Medicaid Medicare Services to an initiate an investigation

(05:33):
of California's medical program because we believe that state politicians
have illegally received reimbursement for various expenses associated with the
illegal immigrants. We need to hold these politicians accountable. They've
broken the law. They need to be held accountable. And unfortunately,
what that means is that the state budget will get hit.

(05:57):
But that's again, those are the rules. The rules are.
If you spend money that you're not allowed to spend,
and you illegitimately ask the federal government for reimbursement, which
is what the new Suba administration did, they need to
be penalized for that. And politicians in California need to
be asked the tough question, why did you put poor
people's healthcare at risk to bend over backwards and give

(06:18):
these freeb's out to people who shouldn't be here in
the first place. I own a big scandal.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
I always say, all the progressives, they have three constituencies,
and it's illegal aliens, homeless people, and criminals. Those are
the three groups they serve. The rest of us, We're
just supposed to supply the money, but they do.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
And remember in their campaign contributors, their campaign contributors are
also getting everything that they want. This system is so
broken up here that working families, poor people get the
shaft while very rich people are getting the benefits. Don't
for a moment think that the people up here are
fighting for poor people. They're not. This medical crisis puts

(06:56):
poor people at the risk because they're bailing out for
a variety of constituencies that are illegitimately getting our taxpayer money.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
At this point, why are they doing this? Why are they.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Sacrificing Because they're doing it because they've gotten away with it.
No one has shined the light, no one has exposed
and that's why they've been able to give money to
these groups and not have the accountability. Now they're finally
being exposed. Now they're feeling the heat. So we have
got to make sure that people. I've been hearing from
Democrat voters and they say, we love what you're doing,
but don't always agree with you, but we love that

(07:31):
you're telling us the truth about what's going on with
the money. And let me just tell you right now,
poor people are now being put at risk. Their healthcare
is on the chopping block, their health care is insolvent
because the medical program is broken. So do not buy
this nonsense that they care about poor people.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
They don't.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
They use poor people as window dressing. But they you
know who always gets taken care of the lobbyists up here,
They always get the money that they demand.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
This is pretty shocking. I mean, this is outrageous even
by newsomme standards. To actually screw over all the poor
people in California for the sake of illegal alien healthcare.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
That is so crazy.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
And this is why I knew some last week was
you know, hooton and holler and about medical and my
Democrat colleagues want to vote on a regul resolution on
medical and Trump when I had. They're the ones that
have created the damage, and so we need to make
sure that people understand our medical program is important. I
support medic health when people are down on their luck,
when they fall behind, seniors, young children, who are impoverished,

(08:33):
they deserve coverage. But that's all been put at risk
by the negligent approach that these lawmakers and the governor
have chosen to put this state on.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
All right, Carl, you do great work. No one else
is doing it.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Thank you for coming on, and when you get more,
feel free to give us a call right away.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Okay, well watch what we reveal next week. Okay, next
week we're going to be going after programs that once
again are supposed to be helping the neediest among us.
But guess what part of the funding going to the
welfare programs will be going to left wing groups for politics.
Who are these programs helping. They're not helping poor people,

(09:10):
They're helping politicians stay in office. And that's our next
big bombshell is the use of state taxpayer money for
left wing politics. It needs to be exposed. It's going
to be exposed, and frankly, at some point when it
deals with federal dollars. I believe that there will be
federal criminal investigations that will result.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
I hope. So that's thank you, John for covering it.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
I appreciate it, all right, always, all right, Carl Demiel,
the Republican assemblyment out of San Diego. These people, I
keep saying it. You might think I'm looney. You're going
to see over time, these people are criminals. They've been
intentionally stealing the money. And now they're stealing money from
poor people in California to give it to legal alien healthcare.
And now they got caught. They're three and a half

(09:53):
billion dollars short. They've had to borrow that money, and
they're going to have to borrow this money every year
that this goes on. You simply, we have millions of
illegal aliens. You can't pay for all their health care.
It's impossible. Legal aliens pay very little in taxes, negligible amount,

(10:13):
no matter what the activists lie about, they don't pay
anything useful in taxes. It's all costs on us billions
of dollars, and healthcare is one of the biggest and
it is so criminal in Sacramento. But you know that
Madison McQueen pole I mentioned in the first hour. If

(10:35):
you didn't hear the first hour, listen to to the
one to one thirty segments because lay it all out.
The public is turning against all this in California, against
Democratic policies that have created a lot of bad situations.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
It's starting to happen.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
You're listening to John Cobelt on demand from KFI AM
six forty. So.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Couple of mornings a week, my wife sends me out.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
I usually go out and get a bagel for myself
and she likes this, this egg breakfast from a deli,
and up until a few weeks ago, I go there,
it's basically two scrambled eggs. Right, I go there, and
the price of the two scrambled eggs including tax five
dollars and five cents. Last week I order the same thing,

(11:25):
it is suddenly six dollars and fifty nine cents.

Speaker 5 (11:28):
Well because of egg prices.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Because of egg prices, that's right.

Speaker 5 (11:31):
But they've gone down now, have things?

Speaker 1 (11:34):
Last week?

Speaker 5 (11:34):
Yes, Yeah, there's a new report out today that they're down.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Well, maybe go tomorrow and maybe tomorrow. As of this
morning it was still six fifty nine. Oh so, well,
you know they already paid for the eggs. You see,
that's true. You know, maybe with.

Speaker 5 (11:49):
The next maybe wait a week or so.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
It has created a crime wave at the border that
exceeds the fentanyl issue. According to Customs and Border Protection,
since October, border officers have seized three thousand, seven hundred
and sixty eight poultry related products. That is more than

(12:12):
ten times the seizures of fentanyl.

Speaker 5 (12:16):
Can't you guys live without eggs?

Speaker 1 (12:19):
You guys? Oh, you mean like the rest of America?

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Yeah, like everybody, everybody normal who has.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
I forgot.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
It's not only anti eating meat, it's anti eating eggs.
Like eating the unfertilized embryos are now violation.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
I had three scrambled eggs for breakfast yesterday. Yeah, like stoneface.

Speaker 5 (12:44):
Well that's exciting.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
They were delicious. Egg eggs are delicious.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
I mean you could live without them.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Well, we could live without everything. I mean, can we
enjoy good food because it tastes good? It's really nutritious.
You know, you start your morning with eggs, you know
it's I don't.

Speaker 5 (13:03):
I don't start my morning with eggs.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
You go out in the backyard and graze.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
I know, since egg interceptions are up thirty six percent
since October compared to the previous year. It says parts
of Texas they're hotspots for egg smuggling. Egg seizures up
fifty four percent. In San Diego they'd more than doubled.

(13:28):
There are thousands of illegal egg seizures. In al Paso.
Agents have foiled ninety egg smugglers just since January. Because
the price of eggs in Mexico is a third of
what it is in the US, why is that? Why
are those chickens more expensive? People are buying their own chickens?

Speaker 5 (13:52):
Oh, I know.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
My wife asked me if I wanted to do that.

Speaker 5 (13:55):
You do have kind of a farm already.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Well, I know, I mean I thought, you know, except
you know, we're not always home. We're way a lot,
so I you know, you have to, Yeah, you have to.
You have to be there all the time. A dozen
large great A eggs cost five to ninety on average
last month.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
So where they dropped I don't know.

Speaker 5 (14:17):
I just know that they've dropped. Well I could actually
look it up, but I do know that they have dropped.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
A year ago is three bucks, So it's gone from
roughly three to six bucks. All on the Avian flu.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
You know, if I sold eggs, I would never lower
my prices ever again ever, because people want eggs so badly.
I mean, you can make a lot of money.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Well yeah, but then somebody across the street's going to
sell them for a normal procerace.

Speaker 5 (14:46):
So ABC News is saying that the average wholesale price
has fallen to four fifteen a dozen. Two weeks ago
it was eighty five.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
The I mean, the Avian flu wiped out millions and millions.
It's not like they were able to grow new chickens that.

Speaker 5 (15:03):
I think people are just the demand. The demand is
lower now. I mean not you, but other people have
decided that they can live without eggs.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
There at New York City, you know those bodegas, they're
like local delis. They're selling loose eggs. They're called Lucy's
Lucy's and you can buy three eggs for three dollars
instead of twelve eggs for twelve dollars. And then people
are taking the three eggs for three dollars and selling

(15:35):
them one egg at a time on the street.

Speaker 5 (15:36):
I mean, come on, this is look. You know how
much I love avocados. If avocados suddenly became scarce, or
so unaffordable. I move on. I find something else that
I enjoyed just as much.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
You're running out of things to enjoy, have to have
so much food on the blacklist. And I told you
the avocados feed into the drug cartels. Yeah, but you
don't care about it.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
I do.

Speaker 5 (15:59):
I told you that I've looked into that where I
buy them. That's not the case.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
People are dying because of your avocado fetish.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
All right, we come back Karen Bass.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
Karen Bass is in so much trouble, obviously, but she
does have supporters, and there is a recall effort against her,
and now her supporters, and we will give you their names,
are going after They're trying to defend Bass by going
after billionaires, apparently successful, successful people who make money and

(16:35):
employ a lot of other people. They're the problem, not
the dilettants like Bass who gatherleing off to Ghana when
a huge wind and firestorm is bearing down in La.
It looks like people who earn a good living and
are successful at what they do. That's the enemy to
be fought against. That's what Karen Bass's crowd is saying.

(16:58):
We'll get into that coming up.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
You're listening to John Cobels on demand from KFI AM
six forty.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
You really shouldn't miss stuff after four o'clock though it's
in a podcast John Cobelt Show on demand also on
the iHeart app. We are going to talk to Art
Arthur after three o'clock, Center for Immigration Studies. He's a
national security and immigration expert. If you didn't see the
news over the weekend, this is something to go looking for,

(17:28):
just to see the photos or the videos. We deported
two hundred and sixty one violent criminal illegal aliens, many
of them with that Venezuelan gang trend de Ragua, and
also many Salvador and MS thirteen gang members, and they
were all shipped to El Salvador. The president there, Nahib Bokeli,

(17:53):
said hey, bring him in here, because he's got a
prison filled with thousands of the worst characters, gang member
and criminals and murderers, and they all are forced to
work constantly. And you see pictures of them, they're laid
out by the hundreds on the ground, lying or sitting
next to each other, nearly naked. I think they're wearing

(18:16):
just some kind of speedo and nothing else, and they're
yes a speedo.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
Have you seen all these new L. Salvadoran men.

Speaker 5 (18:24):
I have not.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Oh you should see this if that's your thing.

Speaker 5 (18:27):
No, it's not my thing.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
And they're all covered with tattoos, I mean everything. Even
they're shaven heads, they look green, they look like martians. Anyway,
we sent two hundred and sixty one I legal aliens
and a judge tried to stop it, and the Trump
people said too late. Pl had already left the country

(18:49):
in international airspace.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
And then the L.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
Salvadoran presidents sent out a tweet saying, oopsie little late.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Actually did write oops se.

Speaker 5 (18:59):
See I know I said that on the air a
couple of times.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Oopsie.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
So anyway, Art Arthur is going to explain how this
operation went and also the legality of it, because Trump
is using a law from seventeen ninety eight when we
were afraid Friends was going to invade us. That's coming up,
you know, lost in the lost in the whole fire

(19:24):
is Karen Bass will be up for reelection next year
and obviously this is very destructive to her campaign. And
don't know what Rick Ruso is going to do. He's
actually putting together a pretty strong organization to try to
help people rebuild, you know, do something practical and rational.
But nobody likes Bass, and for good reason. And so

(19:50):
her crowd is getting very nervous and they're starting to
go on the offensive. And there is nothing more stupid
than when a politician and their backers are backed into
a corner. They've got nothing going for them, no way
to defend themselves, and then they come up all kinds

(20:10):
of wild They come up with, like a wild political
strategy to change the narrative, I think is what they say.
They have to change the narrative. And they start talking
about all this nutty stuff. And Karen Bass has a
supporter named Joanne Kim. Now, joe Anne Kim is the
chief of staff to the City Council President Marquis Harris Dawson,

(20:35):
who was the acting mayor of the day of the
fire and did nothing useful, all right, so he was
a complete waste. Joan Kim is the chief of staff.
So she has put out an email trying to round
up support saying that right wing billionaires have weaponized the
fire and is waging a disinformation campaign against the mayor,

(20:58):
a disinformation campaign. She went to Africa. There's photos of
her in Africa drinking? What disinformation campaign? Seriously, you think
this is going to sell? You got twelve people dead
and just a reminder of Joe ad Kim, whoever the
hell you are. Let's see how many, uh I'd see?

(21:23):
You know, how many structures were destroyed in the Palisades fire?
Six eight hundred and thirty seven five thousand, four hundred
and nineteen homes single family homes, one hundred and thirty five,
multifamily homes, one hundred and fifty eight commercial structures. Total

(21:43):
number of structures that were destroyed sixty eight hundred and
thirty seven. I mean, how crazy are you? How crazy
are you? You're saying, well, this is uh the oh
you know what she was after she's claiming Karen Dash

(22:03):
is under attack from wealthy oligarchs. Olig garks has been
the new word of the year, hasn't it. How many
times did you hear the word oligarch before Musk and
Trump took over? And now she's trying to throw Rick
Caruso in the same category because all these people are

(22:25):
really successful. They make a lot of money and employ
a lot of people. Being successful used to be.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
Well.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
It used to be that people admired the successful, because
what has Rick Cruso done other than build these beautiful
shopping centers and resorts that people enjoy by the many
millions people go to the Grove. The only thing bigger
than the Grove in southern California in terms of attendance
is Disneyland. But now he's a wealthy oligarch. Nicole Shanahan.

(23:02):
She bankrolled Robert Kennedy's campaign, and now Nicole Shanahan is
bankrolling a campaign to recall bass.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
Basses.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
People are claiming these are highly partisan attacks amplified by
a hard right media apparatus. A hard right media apparatus,
we don't have any in Los Angeles.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
What is she talking about? No, it's that you.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
You went off to Africa and almost seven thousand buildings
burned in the Palisades, and then when you came back,
remember that walk, that walk of shame at the airport.
You wouldn't speak, and you have been cold and hard.
There's been no empathy, no understanding, no apology. And should

(23:51):
we go through the list of sins. You half funded
the fire department. Fire department is funded by fifty percent.
The reservoirs were empty. That was your fire chief. That
was your DWP head. The hydrants didn't work, the fire
engines were by a one hundred of them were in

(24:13):
the shop getting fixed, except we have no mechanics. This
is a highly partisan hard right media apparatus that's making
all these facts up.

Speaker 5 (24:26):
I know plenty of people, plenty of Democrats, who are
very pissed off about how Bass handled this situation.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
Yeah, well, because you live among a lot of Democrats,
and so do I believe me, the west side of LA.
There's no hard right apparatus built on the west side
of LA. Most of the people I know are Democrats.
Most of the people I know our Democrats lost their
homes in the Palisades. Many of them voted for Bass.

(24:57):
They are angry because Bass is incompetent and overwhelmed. And
I don't think theglectful begins to describe what's going on.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
How do you know?

Speaker 2 (25:08):
How do you not know one hundred and seventeen million
gallon reservoir is sitting empty? How do you not know that?
How do you you picked Genice Kenonias, you picked the
fire chief. How do you not know that the fire
department's only fifty percent funded? That's your stretch. You did
that on purpose. You decided, this is what we're going

(25:29):
to spend. We're going to spend fifty percent more on
homelessness than we are going to spend on the fire department.
You chose that, even though the homeless set more than
half the fires, that was your value judgment.

Speaker 5 (25:43):
How come we don't know the cause yet of the fire?
We don't hear anything about that anymore I know, or
about people that we know who's homes burned, because not
a single fire engine showed up.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
I don't know where that's gone away. They they don't
discuss it, and there is no sign that they ever
will discuss it. But what started the Palisades fire? I
see periodic stories on the Eton fire because they're looking
at a particular electrical.

Speaker 5 (26:13):
Line, right so cal Edison.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
So cal Edison, And they thought it was de energized,
but they think it may have gotten re energized through
a process that's not worth explaining at this point, and
that might have been the ignition.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
But nothing on the Palisades.

Speaker 5 (26:30):
Except that there was a fire New Year's Day that
was put out, and then the theory is it possibly reignited.
That's it. But that's a theory, and we haven't heard
anything more.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
Well, and they've been investigating it for two and a
half months by now there's nothing more to investigate. And
if they don't know, or it was another homeless guy,
some other bum in the wilderness there and they don't
want to admit it, right, that's the last thing Bass
is going to admit that one of our homeless guys
got loose, didn't end up inside saying.

Speaker 5 (27:00):
And then today we have the mayor and police chief
talking about crime down in twenty twenty four. So we've
moved away, we've done right.

Speaker 1 (27:10):
Changed the subject.

Speaker 2 (27:11):
Yeah, so this Joe Anne Kim goes again, chief of
staff to the City Council President.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
She wrote a thousand word email quote.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
This is their strategy. This is the right wing disinformation campaign.
Exploit tragedy, distort reality, divide the people. We won't let them.
What do you mean distort reality? You mean there's not
seven thousand buildings burned, there's not twelve people dead. Somebody
go up to the twelve people, make sure they're dead.

(27:43):
Maybe that's a distorted reality and they're actually alive. Divide
the people, divide who We all watch this live on
television We all saw the photos online that she was
drinking in Ghana, that she came off the plane looking
sullen and angry. Kim wrote, I ask you to use

(28:08):
every communication platform you have to shut down the lies
and show where we stand with our mayor where you're
gonna go on Twitter and say Karen Bass is great.
Karen Bass wasn't in Africa. Seven thousand homes didn't burn,
twelve people didn't die. That whole corner. Los Angeles is

(28:29):
not a not all a barren wasteland. We drove through
there over the weekend. We were on our way to
something in Malibu. Oh man, it's just so bad. It's
just so sad and so awful. There's some other nut
named well, I gotta take a break. Vaheed corsand president
of the city's Board of Public Works. He recirculated the

(28:52):
email warning that the billionaires are coming for La. He's
running the Board of public Works and he's that nuts.
Course onto a high level Bass employee. Oh maybe some
of these people are afraid they're gonna be unemployed.

Speaker 4 (29:05):
You're listening to John Cobels on demand from KFI AM.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
Six FORTYFI AM six forty Live everywhere on the iHeartRadio
app after Deppor's news. Arthur's coming on from the Center
for Immigration Studies. He's their national security and immigration expert.
And Trump and Tom Homan they sent out two hundred
and sixty illegal aliens on planes, really bad guys, violent

(29:31):
criminal gang member aliens from trendyar Ragua, that Venezuelan gang
and also MS thirteen, the El Salvadorian gang. They all
sent them to this horrific prison in l Salvador, and
we'll talk about that. We'll also talk about one of
the laws that Trump used to send these guys out
and kind of semi defy to judge's order, which is

(29:54):
its own amusing story. But he used the law from
seventeen ninety eight. You know, I didn't even we got
so off track with our outrage and anger. I didn't
even finish the Karen Bass story about her supporters going
on the offensive, and specifically the chief of staff to
the city council president, the useless Marquis Harris Dawson again

(30:18):
acting mayor the day of the fire. So he's got
this Joanne Kim who's the chief of staff, and she
sends out this rally around Karen Bass email, and I
forgot to. She said that these attacks against Bass are
highly partisan, amplified by a hard right media apparatus. I

(30:41):
don't know what that would be, and rooted in racism. Haha,
it had to be that people in the palisades are
angry because Karen Bass is black, not because their home
burned to the ground.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
Do you understand that those are even Pacific palisades?

Speaker 2 (31:04):
According to Joe and Kim, it's because you're a racist
that you're angry at Karen Bass.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
Probably didn't know that.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
You probably thought it's because she ran off to Ghana
while you're home burned to the ground and nobody from
the fire department showed up. Ah, you're wrong. This is
exactly why the right is coming after her. It's why
they're using any means they can, like this windstorm. Oh,

(31:33):
the firestorm has been diagraded to a windstorm. They're using
any means they can to attack her. They know that
Karen puts people first. Maybe the president of Ghana, she
put him first? Is that crazy? And that last quote

(31:56):
came from Vahed krsand the president of the Border Public Works. Wow,
he got on a zoom webinar to praise the mayor
for the recovery process. By the way, she did go
public and say that, you know, they got a lot
of it cleaned up in the first twenty eight days.
Phase one is over, and she kind of stood there

(32:19):
and took the glory. That was all the federal government.
That was the EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers.
Karen passed had nothing to do with that. That was
the That was the federal government. Yes, you know, he's right,
That's that's why everybody's going after her. They're going after
her because of race, and they're going after her because

(32:43):
Karen puts people first.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
What does it even mean?

Speaker 2 (32:51):
Karen puts people first? Also, a strategist for the bass
reelection campaign is some loser named Doug Herman. Imagine having
this job. What do you do? I'm trying to get
Karen Bass reelected. Really is she still running? Doug Herman

(33:13):
says that mayor's closest allies will rally behind her in
the face of a recall. He said the mayor's team,
the mayor's team did not ask Joan Kim or Vahid
Corsand to advocate on her. Behalf right, Okay, I believe
that there was no coordination at all. They embarrassed themselves
entirely on their own. This is going to be a

(33:36):
very entertaining year. Karen Bass tries to get us to
forget there was a fire. There was never a fire
because they never found a cause. And if there's no cause,
then there was no fire. When we come back Arthur
from the Center for Immigration Studies, Trump and Homan gave
the heave ho to two hundred and sixty one mostly
gang members from Trendyarragua and Venezuela and MS thirteen and

(33:59):
Outsalba or send him to an Ol Salvador prison, and
the president of El Salvador was happy to take them in.
A judge tried to stop the planes in mid flight,
and Trump told him what, I can't hear you. What
did you say something? That's all next? Debor Mark live
