Today's trending stories pack a punch—from bison flipping tourists at Yellowstone to the rise of keyless hotels and the fall of front desks. Nina breaks down the now-viral Yellowstone Scorecard (Bison: 2, Humans: 0), warning travelers to respect wildlife this summer after two more people got too close and paid the price.

Also trending: Steve Carell keeps dying on screen, and spoiler alerts are NOT being honored in the studio—especially when Victoria is the target.

And finally, hotel front desks may be disappearing for good as check-in kiosks and apps become the norm. But where are we supposed to beg for a free suite during a breakup?

That’s what’s trending.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Just give us three minutes and we'll give you everything
you need to know for the day. But it's time
for Nina's what's trending.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
There's a Yellowstone scorecard that's trending right now and it
has bison at two, humans at zero. So if you
are traveling at all this summer and you decide to
do maybe a Yellowstone Park type of a trip, stay
away from the bison, respect their space, don't engage.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
These people did though, and they got gouged.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
They are big animals, gorged or whatever you want to
call it.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Up against a bison.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
It is kind of cool because when you see them
in the wild, you just can't help yourself, like you
want to get closer because they're so majestic. Yes, you,
you can't help yourself majestic. So I parked on the
side of the road so I could see a whole
bunch of them. I got a picture I'll show you later.
But there were these other people that crossed over the
fence and walked closer, and then I don't do that,
and that was dumb.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
I didn't do that.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
I just watched.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
They didn't get hurt, but they did get closer.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
There's a fence for a reason.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Dude, that's also the one's prime property. Like, don't go
on people's.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Private it's a national park.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Yeah, not the TV show.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Yeah. So do you really think the ranch there going
on to somebody's ranch?

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Yes, I fully believe people do that.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
They go on to people's property and ranches and.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Up on you and get you.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yes, but he won't though. Anyway, there's no spoilers. If
you watch Yellows, he's dead. Hey, but you knew that
was going to happen.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
I couldn't tell me. I haven't seen it either. I
could just tell.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
One of my new favorite hobbies is spoiling TV shows
for Victoria.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
I did it the other day and it's.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
FA's you don't even watch it, you.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Can spoil, Yeah, what happened on it?

Speaker 1 (01:50):
So I'll just go and yeah, it's like an old show,
and I'll say what happened in Victoria lodes her mind?

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Well, because you don't even watch them.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
You literally just Steve Carrell died, let's be let's social respect.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
He did different shower. Always about to watch this show,
mind you.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
I was getting excited to watch the show and Nina
was talking about it, and then.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Just goes, well, Steve Carrell dies.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
I was like.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
What, and he was like, how do you know that?
I was like, wait, he's serious.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
He was.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
By the way, I don't know what's up with Steve
Carell and his roles lately, but he's always dying. Like
in that show that we're talking about, he died in
a car crash, and then there was this movie that
just came out.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
We're not saying this show, so we're not saying.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
And then there's a movie that just came out, uh,
and he dies of the car crash in that too.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
What movie?

Speaker 1 (02:36):
I can't remember the name of it her now. I
also don't want to say it because that wouldn't actually
but I feel like the last like five things I've
watched with him in it, he doesn't make it all
the way to the end.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
So I don't know if he's just like wants to
act a little bit and he's like kill me off.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
He's just got enough money that are gonna know.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
They're more serious characters too, ones when he does die,
So that's like real act in the office.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Never forget Bruce Almighty, one of his greatest.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Rolls, Oh yeah, you didn't dine that you guys love
that movie. We talk about it way too much.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
You die in that movie. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
I haven't seen that mirrors you dine in the movie.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
It is also the end of an era, not just
the end of Steve Currel's character characters.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Thank you. I knew where I was going there, though.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
It looks like hotel front desks may be disappearing forever.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
So that's sad.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
They've been phased out obviously because of kiosks and apps
and all that kind of stuff. And now they're talking
about how it's just the end of an era and
they're going to go away. I hope not, though, because
then who are you supposed to talk to you about
negotiating a bigger room.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
I have never used a kiosk to get into a room.
I've always had a hotel.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Yeah, I've always had a person like even recently, we
enjoy that experience.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
You walk and you're like hey, and they're like, hey,
what's going on?

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (03:48):
I like that.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
And then I'm like, you know, I'm going through a breakup.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Any chance you've got like a suite available, just because
I'm really sad.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
I need the I need the at hotels, I lose
my key all the time, and alway said to get
new key, You too gonna hook me up all the time.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Probably not, it's gonna charge you. Yeah, at least your
just makes sense. Might always just deactivates for some.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Reason mine, Yeah, that happened to me. The last hotel
I was at. It kept deactivating.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
So I'm like, what is Are you by your pocket
with your cell phone? Uh no, it's.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Twenty twenty five.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
We can't figure out how to get a key card
to continue to work near a cell phone.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
That's ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
I feel like you will also loses his key card,
so he picks a brand of one that tries it.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
It could absolutely be that I could just be at
the wrong room.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Every time he's a key card, he goes, that's probably mine, Yeah,
and then it's.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Not working anymore, and it's like, oh, some I forget.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Where my room is. I just go through room by
room until I find it.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
That's what's trending.
