Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for Nina's what's trending.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
If you can make a mean bed with crisp edges,
if you can vacuum like the best of them, then
you may be treated like royalty cool And I will
tell you where in just a second. But first, what
you can buy with one trillion dollars is trending right
now And the reason for that is because Elon Musk
was approved to get this trillion dollar like payout.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Did you see this, stubile No?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Yeah, So all the shareholders at Tesla approved a pay
package for Elon that can make come a trillionaire in
the next decade. So because of that, people started talking about, well,
what can you get with a trillion dollars? What does
that even mean? That's so much money. So some of
the examples that are trending right now is that you
could buy every single car sold in the United States

(00:43):
this year with a trillion dollars. Wow, you could pay
for ten thousand Starbucks CEOs, you can get you could
pay for one four hundred and twenty eight show.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Hey, Ohontas the guy that plays for the Dodgers. I
totally just killed his name.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Did I kill his name?

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Probably?

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Not?

Speaker 1 (01:00):
The show Hay part.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
The show Hay part.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
I don't know about the other part.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
But well, the Dodgers.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
The Dodgers pay him over seven hundred million dollars, or
is paying him seven hundred million dollars over the next
ten years, So fifteen hundred of those, like come on,
that's so much money. Also, two thousand Jeff Besos yachts.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Just to put up perspective, see, and.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
I don't know all that.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
I just need one yacht, a drum set, a nicely
placed to play my drum.

Speaker 5 (01:23):
Set, and you're still mine. But if you get that there,
then you get that and then you're like, man, this
yacht is not too small. I need a bigger yacht.
Well akually, okay, Oh we're that Jeff Besos guy thinks
he's so cool with this huge yacht.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
I gotta build them bigger than him now.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Right, easy, because I have the money.

Speaker 6 (01:37):
I know.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
I want one that's like ten and then all your
bestie's gonna have your own yachts. Then you have your
own yacht week and like the South of France.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Oh my gosh, that would be so fun.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Okay, but even better, you just get a really big
compound and all of you guys get to live all that,
like the compound, Like then you like all live really
close to there.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
I have really strong feelings about that because we've had
these talks before, me and my best friends, and then
this other guy that I was dating. He was talking
about his best friends and how they all wanted to
live on a compound.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
It's like, I don't. I don't want to live that
close to you.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
I want what no kind of cultish.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Very living next to your friend.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
You're saying you want to start a cult, victoria.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
I want to live next to my friends. If you
want to call that a cult, called that occult. I mean,
I just die.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
I just felt like when people come over at like unannounced,
you're like, don't just like walk in.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
I do things by myself that not everybody needs to see. Well,
yeah it was your best friends. I see all of it.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
Anyways.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
I mean that's true, but I still like to know
before you come over. Okay, you can text them anyway,
so we don't have to talk about this right now.
I just know that we will never live on a compound.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
However, seriously, I've thought about that for us.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
I mean I'm done I'm down starting a cult. I'll
be fine with it.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
You've me a great leader. Okay, you have a good
cult leader.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
That's sweet. I've always wondered, you know, I've hoped that
I would make a good cult. I didn't give you.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
I'm glad that you're ambitions. Yeah, no, it's really.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Come on, you're just being nice.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Well, if you do start, you're uncultable.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
You need to make sure that somebody there can make
a bed perfectly with crisp sheets. Okay, somebody can vacuum
like nothing's ever been vacuumed before mopping. Let's not even
stop there. The Housekeeping Olympics are thing, and they're happening
right now in Las Vegas. Housekeeping Olympics, the Housekeeping Olympics.
It is the thirty fifth anniversary of these Olympics, well.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
For thirty five years, right when we were.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
Today years old. When we found out about it. I
didn't even know this was a thing.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
But if housekeeping is your jam and you want to
be treated like royalty because of it, and you should,
especially if you can fold those fitted sheets.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
That is such a skill, it really is. It's just
see me, yeah, think about it. Las Vegas Housekeeping Olympics.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Get that goldens.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
Some people are so good with flipping those debate covers right, thing,
they roll it up and they just it's like take
them two seconds and they got it in there.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
I really do that's amazing. At least thirty minutes easily.
That's that.

Speaker 5 (03:57):
I've tried watching YouTube tutorials and tried to do it
just ends up with me cussing and throwing my cover
at the wall.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
So that's the thing.

Speaker 6 (04:04):
I'm doing it right, And that's the beginning of the cult.
Do they cover and the cult leader he'd have followers
to do that. Okay, okay, I guess that's a minute. Chose,
chosen few, that's.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
What strength are we chosen?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
No, you had to put on the Holy do by cover.
I think I'm gonna like being a cult leader. Oh wow,
look what you did. And of course

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
