Speaker 2 (00:03):
Only on the Jubile Show.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Mike is on the phone today for to catch a cheater,
and he thinks that his girlfriend of two years, Christina,
might be messing around. So we'll see if we can
help him out in a second when we call her
and try to find out if she is cheating. Mike, sorry,
you have to come on the show this way, but
why do you think Christina might be cheating?

Speaker 4 (00:19):
Tell you guys, thank you. I'm kind of a mess
over this. I really appreciate it and kind of helped
you give me. So me and Chris we've been together
about two years and we've lived together for about a
year and it's.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Great most of the time.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
You know, we fight like any other couple, but to
be honest, to give in usually because my parents fought
like crazy and that ended in a really bad divorce
when I was younger.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
So I don't want to deal with anything like that.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
And she's a great woman, and I want to She's
always wanted to go to the Bahamas. Okay, so I
work hard. I've got a good job, but I wanted
to make some extra money and I have one part
time job and then A friend told me about how
he door dashed and I would stood money and it's
not too difficult. So I started doing that, and it's true,

(01:09):
it has been. It's been great, like it's kind of
fun to be honest with you. And so the other
night last week, I got a car, I got a
job where I had to brim a pizza to a hotel.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
And when I made the delivery, you.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Know, you go right upstairs and they're used to us
by now, and I knock on the door and the
guy opens the door and he takes the pizza, and
I hear a woman's voice on the inside go oh great,
I'm hungry and forty perfect timing, and I swear it
was Christina. I swear it was her voice. And I

(01:46):
almost turned it around and went back in and knocked
on the door. But what if I'm wrong, right, what
if it's not her? I look like an idiot, and
who knows how that could blow up?

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Where did she tell you she was that night?

Speaker 1 (02:00):
You know she works nights a lot.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
You know, she's in public relations and they have events
and convention centers even hotels sometimes you know, the conference
room and stuff like that. So it's not odds for
her to not not be around at night, and I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
What to think.

Speaker 5 (02:16):
Well, before that moment, did you have any idea in
your head or feeling that something was going on?

Speaker 4 (02:22):
No? Not really, No, it's really been great. That's why
I want to get her this trip to the Bahamas
so badly, because I'm in love. I'm totally in love,
and I don't want to I don't want to accuse
her of anything, right, I don't, But I'm at the
point but talking to my boys about it, and it's like,
I gotta know, it's kind of no. I can't just

(02:43):
keep going on like this.

Speaker 5 (02:45):
Did you ask her about anything else? Like is she
spending more time with friends? Like is she being weird
towards you? Intimately?

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Like this?

Speaker 4 (02:55):
This was weird because that night I brought food home
with me and she asked.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
He said, no, I'm good. I had keeaps that at work.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
Oh okay, literally like a one to two punch, right. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
I'm kind of sitting in the summits driving.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Home and I just moved here, so you know, I
kind of saw like a fresh start, kind of you know,
if they haven't been sit through another break up not
too long ago, really right, a few years back, and
I said that this was going to be great, and
then this out of nowhere. It feels like to me
really really thought things were going well.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Well, see if we can help you out.

Speaker 3 (03:30):

card member at. So we'll call, pretend to be from
the grocery store and say that every single month, one
of our Rewards card members gets a free gift from us,
and it's flowers delivered from a floor apartment. Well, see
if she sends those to you or to somebody else.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Okay, Okay, that's a good way to do it.

Speaker 3 (03:47):

to catch a cheater next. If you just joined us
for today is to catch a cheater. Mike is on
the phone, and Mike thinks that his girlfriend of two

(04:08):
who gets a free gift from us and as flowers
delivered from our floor apartment, And we'll see if she
sends those to her boyfriend Mike or to somebody else.

for us again real quick? Hi?

I was delivering a pizza one night, doing part time
job for door Dash to try to save money to
bring my beloved girlfriend on her dream trip to the Bahamas,
and I could swear I heard her voice in the
hotel room after a guy answered the door, saying, oh great,
I'm hungry and forty PERU time.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Okay, he says, Bob, I mean a lot of people.
But yeah, all right, Mike, are you ready for us
to call her? Yes, sir, Okay, here we go.

Speaker 3 (04:56):

for our rewards card member named Christina.

with a big congrats and thank you very much for
being such a loyal customer.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
You're this month big winner.

Speaker 4 (05:15):

a free gift from us, just our way of saying
thank you. You've just won thirty six long stem red roses,
a box of candy or chocolates and a card to
be delivered to anybody that you want, absolutely free. It's
a three hundred and sixteen dollars value.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
All I would need from you is ready to go
to the first and last name of the person you
want to send them to. Anything that you might want
to put on the card and the address, and then
we'll be good to go.

Speaker 6 (05:43):
Okay, let's send them to Danny.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Got it? Okay? And do you want to put anything
on a card to Danny?

Speaker 4 (05:54):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Okay, So I feel like we've like a card message.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
Yeah, Why don't we say, uh, sorry about the extra
room charges?

Speaker 2 (06:07):

Okay, great, so let's talk about it later if you'd like.
But why not right now?

Speaker 1 (08:10):

into something else like you're trying to do right now.

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
