Speaker 1 (00:00):
The following content does not reflect the opinions of Fox
Sports Radio because this show is god awful.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Alright, alright, yo yo yo, into your life from Philly.
It's a number one rat in Pauli and Tony foolsto
show Yo yo yo. As always Pauli Fools go ahead
with Tony Fosco and Tony you know, all the people
they know. At this point, I usually say huge show today,
but now they're looking at their run time and they're saying,

(00:33):
why so short.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
That's probably what they're saying, you know, yeah, you know, which.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Is also what our producer's mom said when she saw
her son's penis.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
That's true, true story.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Ready, you know, if you need everything explained to your people,
which we know by now with our audience, the Eagles
were on a byewake last week, so there's no game
to talk about. Uh So if you want an Eagles
package preview, well they're gonna win by fifty. So there
you go. Exactly, it's a radio Yeah, we're gonna do today.
We're gonna give you a full wrap up above the world.

(01:03):
There is you know, settle the cots. These people wait
waiting for us the way and then yeah, of course
we're gonna break down these Jets trades and tell you
why everyone should be celebrating them. Now, remember you hit
like you hit subscribe, you rate your podcasts.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
There you go. You got work to do.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
It's not a bye week for you nor.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
So here we go.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Work.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Time to get into a top story, all right, First,
out the gate, big news out of the NFL trade deadline, well,
actually the only news since it was totally boring otherwise. Anyway,
the Jets trading away the whole team, sending Sauce Gardner
to the Colts and Quinnin Williams to the Cowboys.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Gonna be even trade there.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
But you know, people saying that this could be a
terrible for New York.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
What That's not true though, No.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
No, it all depends on how you look at it.
If you see these Jets trades as a football move,
then yes, it's terrible. But if you view it as
a hostage release, then it's great. I mean, New York
right now is basically the Middle East. There's a lot
of chaos, unrest, and it's run by a guy named Zohan.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
So anytime we can.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Get hostages out of the Middle East, isn't that a
good thing, great.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Thoughtful perspective that DONI and you know, as we say
every week on the show, we don't like to get
political on this show except for the three minutes when.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
We discuss politics every week.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Then right now we have to react to this Zohann
election because it's truly changing the face of sports already,
is it?

Speaker 1 (02:38):
A Dony?

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Absolutely, My sources tell me now that he's mayor of
New York, Zohan is planning to reduce the payrolls for
both the Mets and the Yankees to just five thousand
dollars per year. In fact, Aaron Judges being forced to
renegotiate his contract where he'll be paid solely and loaves

(03:00):
of bread, and Juan Soto is interviewing for part time
work as a cobbler just to make ends meet.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Wow, just amazing inside sourcing that Dony.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
You know, you know, the only slight issue with all
of this is that it continues to give the Dodgers
the advantage here. In fact, Jason Delcey came out on
his podcast New Heights, which you know is just a
total blatant copy of the show, clearly to talking football first,
and he just act like it was his anyway, Jason
Delzy comes out and says, quote, baseball sucks. You just

(03:36):
buy World Series championships. It's the dumbest thing in the world.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
And well, Jason Delcey is just totally missing the point.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Doesn't eat donate one hundred percent.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Personally, I think it's great that now you can buy championships.
People think that the Phillies are just a couple of
big time players away from a World Series.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
No, No, that's wrong. What we clearly need are more owners. Yep.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
By my calculations, if we can just round up two
or three more billionaire owners, then the Phillies will have
more than enough money to buy a World Series up
or even six or seven. Couldn't agree more, Doty.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
In fact, the other day I heard someone talking about
the top Phillies prospects in free agency and they said,
beat Alonzo and Alex Bregman. No, And I said, wrong, exactly,
we need to go after Elon Musk and the Facebook guy,
you know exactly.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
And if that doesn't work, then you know, you just
do a kickstarter.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
You're always an option that Doty, And you know a
lot of people they're saying that there's really no way
to stop the Dodgers from winning it all again.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Well, that's not true at all, right, don'ty No, I mean,
obviously there's a clear solution.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Ice exactly, it's sitting right there obvious anyway, Yeah, talking
about obvious. Another angle that I hear nobody in the
lazy media talking about. There's clearly another reason why the
Dodgers had an unfair advantage in this series.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
They have a later bedtime.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
They play on the West Coast, So when all these
games going extras, well I felt sorry for the Blue Jays,
you know, because it was way past their bedtime in
their home time zone, didn't you.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Of course?

Speaker 3 (05:21):
You know, people keep saying that the Blue Jays base
runner got caught napping on third base. Well, yeah, exactly,
he must have literally been falling asleep because it was
way past his bedtime. You know, when you look at it,
if the game had been played on Sunday instead of Saturday,
the Blue Jays would have gotten an extra hour of

(05:41):
sleep due to daylight savings time, and that would have
changed the whole series.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Would have changed everything.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Just great baseball and also time analysis that Dody, and
you know it must be said, the biggest injustice in
this world series is obviously that show Heyo, Donnie's translator
and private beta Masuhara was unfairly not allowed to bet
on the outcome due to being in prison. And uh,
you know, right now, Tony, you gotta say, well, if

(06:09):
he had been allowed to bet, he would have been
a billion at ten times over by now, wouldn't they?

Speaker 3 (06:14):
When you think about it, the only logical explanation is
that Draft Kings and FanDuel had Ebey locked up just
because it was the only way to keep him from
bankrupting their companies.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
It's clearly the only explanation, don'ty. So as we mentioned.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
The top, you know, the Eagles were on a.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Bye week, right, so me and Tony we had some
extra time, you know, to take in some movies.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Okay, you know.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
And by the way, you know, people that complained to us,
these idiots come up to us, so they say, why
don't you talk women's sports on your shoe, kid?

Speaker 1 (06:46):
And we talk it all the time, all the.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Time, every nine to ten weeks, exactly this week right now,
to please all of you whatever, we're going to discuss
the sport of women's boxing, okay, and the new movie
which just came out starring Sidney Sweetey. Y'are in our
segment Bolly and Dony at the Movies, Bally in Tony
at the Movies.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
And Donny Donny.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Well, there's just so much to say about this movie,
but we got to start with the just incredible performance
by Sidney Sweetey.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Don't wait, absolutely, you know, to truly understand the magnitude
of her performance, you need to truly understand one thing,
the physical transformation exactly. That's why before we talk about
the movie, it's so important to examine photos of Sidney

(07:40):
Sweeney in the movie and before in real life. Yeah,
put up the picture of Sidney Sweeney in that movie. Okay, now,
put up the picture of her the other day at
that event where she's wearing that silvery dress. Just look
here at the physical tren Yeah, I'm sure right now,

(08:02):
your eyes are obviously drawn to her hair. You know,
in the movie her hair is brown, but as you
can see here in this photo, her hair is blonde.
In fact, I was so stunned by this physical transformation
that I found myself staring at this photo the whole

(08:23):
way through this movie. In fact, that one time I
had to go to the bathroom because the movie was
distracting me from looking at this photo and the physical transformation.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Say, man, Donny, you know, I would love to comment
on the movie, but I really can't because I was
just so distracted by the physical transformation, you.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Know exactly, And that really speaks volumes about just how
hugely incredible she is in her performance, you know, in
the physical transformation.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Amaz, you just have to admire the size of her
you know, talentl llan exactly.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
There's so much to admire. In fact, can you zoom
in on that photo? Zoom?

Speaker 3 (09:10):
They just I just want our audience to fully appreciate
the physical transformation.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Can you zoom zoom in?

Speaker 4 (09:19):
What are you doing I can clearly see what you're
doing here?

Speaker 1 (09:23):
What are you doing here?

Speaker 3 (09:25):
We are trying to celebrate women, and you're rudely into
celebrating women.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
Yeah, it was celebrating women. Are you're standing in the way? Believable?

Speaker 4 (09:35):
You're clearly using this movie review just to stare at
her picture and make her an object. It's it's a
little weird.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Oh well, after the show, you're going to be staring
down the barrel of my gun.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
Yeah, and every woman turns you into an object they
object to talking to you.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Oh now, shut up, stop talking here. We are trying
to celebrate women.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
Exactly.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
You can't have you can't have him on the screen
trying to make any women happy.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
Yeah, right, that exactly.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
You know that wraps up a beautiful tribute to a
beautiful movie. And that also wraps up bullyant duty at
the movies.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
And uh, you know that that wraps up a short show.
We're just gonna end it in. Don't forget.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
Corrections on the subject of short Your penis now, what
do you want?

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Well, what do you want? Yeah, you get one? Go Yeah,
short show.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
Yeah, you were saying, the name of the New York
City mayor is Zohan?

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Yeah, bro, his name yes?

Speaker 4 (10:43):
So no, his name is Zoran. Zohan is a character
in an Adam Sandler movie.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
Good movie.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
It's offensive that you can't pronounce his name.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Oh, I see it's Zoran, which rhymes with your name, moron.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Yeah, and you're gonna get Zoe Ron over by my car.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Just keep it, keep talking. We're gonna run him over
with our voice. Anyway. We're going out with the fang tony.

Speaker 2 (11:15):

but also because next week on the show just booked.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
