Speaker 1 (00:03):
Phpr one and only Perez Hilton.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
Everybody, welcome to the php A booker. He's the victorious
Perez Hilton. How are you?
Speaker 3 (00:24):
Oh my gosh, I'm so relieved. We will talk about
Blake Lively and me the end of that, thankfully. Also
Prince Harry Happy birthday and making a lot of headlines
for some controversial remarks that he made over the weekend. Also,
Taylor Swift has gotten people talking for something that I
(00:45):
think I know the answer to, but that many people
are perceiving to be as odd LUs we have to
talk a little bit more about Charlie Kirk because that
is dominating conversation still all these days later. But first,
I had a wonderful weekend. I went to a rave.
I know, not my kind of place, but I had
(01:06):
a friend visiting from New York and she's a former
club kid even though she's my age now, and she
wanted to go to this rave. So we went. But thankfully,
I said, Okay, I'll go because it's at this place
called Area fifteen in Las Vegas. So I knew that,
like if I had a bad time, like we could
just go to Miowwolf, the Omega mart or we can
(01:27):
do anything else.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
So we went.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
I'm like, okay, we're there for like thirty minutes. Fine,
but it was eye opening. We had some cocktails, that's it.
But you know, I remember like when people would go
to raves back in the day, they would all take
like ecstasy. Right, they don't do that anymore. Apparently it's
all just about like edibles now, oh really, gummies Yeah, allegedly.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
We could have been given bad information. Who knows.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
I don't think people do coke anymore.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
Even pills. You could die from pills. You don't know
what's in the pill.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
That's the thing. Everything's got fetanol and everybody's worried about that.
And it's really crushed drug using down. I'm not like
in the weed or gummies or anything.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
No, me neither.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
I don't even like drinking that much anymore because and
I get like hungover.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Well, I wish I had that problem. I'm always not over.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Well I did that. And I also went to a
Debbie Gibson event and it was lovely to see her
and Joey McIntyre from New Kids on the Block, both
icons of my youth. She's got a new memoir that
she released that I think is wonderful, very vulnerable and
honest and inspiring. And she's great. You know, she's like
the perfect amount of famous. She's like got two number
(02:37):
one songs on the Billboard Hot one hundred plus other hits.
She can always tour that she's got fans still decades later.
But she's not like Taylor Swift famous, you know, Like right,
she can live a normal life and be happy but
still make money. And I dream, I dream about like
just being able to like do what every she can
do whatever.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
She's doing that now you're still fam you still make money.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
I mean I still have to work really hard.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
Well so does she. She has to write a book,
she's got to go out there and hawk it.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
I've seen her on everything, all right, Well, I mean, okay, it's.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
All a hustle. It's all a hustle. Wishing for somebody
else's life is a waste to fucking talk.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
I'm not wishing for her life. My life that I
want in the future, Like I want to be a
travel content creator. That's what I envision for myself. I'd
be fabulous with that. What are you talking about?
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Fine, I just don't see you doing it.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Why not with that.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Again, you do like to travel, and you do like
to do things.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
I love to travel to do things. I love to
eat at nice restaurants and not nice restaurants, like local places,
and I love to just like stay at hotels, preferably
nice ones. Anyways, you know what, some people might have
heard the exciting news about Blake Lively. We'll get to
that in a second. But in a way this was
just as or maybe even more meaningful to me than
(03:53):
the Blake Lively news. I got a call on Friday
from my son's school. And I get calls all all
the time from the nurse, so I just thought, oh,
it's the nurse again. Okay, what happened now? But this
call was from a guidance counselor, and I'm like, uh oh,
what happened? Like guidance counselor calls are rarely good, and
they're like, no, no, no, no, nothing bad happened. We just
(04:15):
wanted to, you know, congratulate you and applaud your son.
He really helped out a friend and a classmate. They
were at PE and one of his classmates was being
bullied and said that he wanted to kill himself, and
Mario told one of the guidance counselors afterwards, So I'm
sure he was probably like weighing all the scenarios and afraid,
(04:39):
maybe even of like, well, what could happen if I say,
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
That's good that a kid like took initiative.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
You never know, right, Yeah, yeah, So I'm just I'm
so proud of my twelve year old, but also sad that,
you know, seventh graders are being little shits.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
They always are. It's part of growing up.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
Oh awful, All right, anything you want to add Steeler suck.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
Outside of that, all is good. You watch every game,
every Steeler game. Yeah, I didn't watch every football game yesterday.
I was disgusted with football. Then just went out and
spent the day in my yard and I got a
new green trash can, so now I have two, so
I filled that up. Now my back is sore from
working in my yard all day. But I didn't watch
the Eagles Chiefs game. But the Chiefs did lose. They're
(05:23):
zero to two for the first time in a very
long time, so the Chief's dominance could be pretty over.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
Oh wow, oh and two not a good look. Well,
we'll get to the chiefs in a minute. But first,
her former bestie Blake Lively has withdrawn her subpoena against me.
After we recorded our Patreon show on Thursday. I could
not say it on the show, but afterwards I told Booker.
(05:49):
I was like, oh my god, the ACLU agreed to
represent me. And then shortly after we recorded, I had
a video conference with the ACLU and we went over
this retainer agreement that they sent me, and they had
some follow up questions on the privileged log the judge
had asked me to make. And then as soon as
(06:09):
I signed the retainer agreement, they called Blake Lively's lawyers
and told them that they were representing me. And then
they told the ACLU, we're going to withdraw the subpoena.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
And and.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
Not only that, they said, we're representing Perez and we're
going to file a notice of appearance in the court,
meaning that's the term for like officially representing somebody. You
finally notice of appearance. Literally, her lawyers told the ACLU
of Nevada, don't do that. We're going to withdraw the subpoena.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
They had shaken in their boots away.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
I love it, I know with every fiber of my
being that if the ACLU of Nevada had not agreed
to represent me, Blake Lively would still be pursuing this
subpoena against me.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Absolutely, yeah, because it's a fishing expedition. It's always was
just that. Once they figured out that now you're gonna
get like a real organization on your side, they just
had to be like, this is bullshit and we have
to step away from because it always was bullshit.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Not just a fishing expedition. But I also believe it
was retaliation.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Well and that too.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
Yeah, she didn't like blackface Betty and ku Klux Khalisi
and all the stupid nicknames.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
Which were all great, and she.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
Didn't like that. I publicly said, I don't believe her.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
How about zero time Academy Award winner.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
I gotta bring that one back.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
That's a great one.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
The reason I knowed every fiber of my being is
because there's this other content creator based out of Florida
that same as me, right, Like she argued she told
the judge on Friday morning, Oh, we received everything that
we needed from the Wayfarer parties directly, and like yo,
(07:57):
I literally argued that. I literally said that repeatedly, and
in my filings, I said, your honor, this subpoenis should
be quashed because by law she needs to exhaust all
other methods of getting it before burdening a non party
according to rule forty five. She had not done that yet,
right And oh but so so that's not the fucking
(08:19):
reason she withdrew it.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
Optics. The only reason she went through this was optics.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Yes, I need to thank a few people, so I
wouldn't say that I ever thought representing myself was going
to be easy, which I did for close to three months,
you know, from the beginning of July up until just
last week. But I thought, perhaps naively, foolishly, I thought
it wouldn't be easy. But I thought I could do it,
right I had. I had two hearings by myself versus
(08:45):
a fucking team of lawyers. At the second hearing, that's
when I said to you on this show, it got
to a point where it felt, Okay, I can't do
this myself anymore, and it was bigger than me, and
things were being asked of me by the judge and
I needed help. So this one lawyer was in attendance
just to support this woman named Don Toeman. She came
(09:08):
up to me afterwards and she said, Hey, I work
with children pro bono. I specialize helping kids in Vegas.
But if you need help finding forensic data extraction experts,
email me. And I was like, I will, because I
don't freaking know where to look or who to ask
for a quote. So I emailed that woman and she
sent me back a couple of names to people to
hit up. The next day, I said this on our
(09:30):
Patreon show, I appeared on the local news here in Vegas,
and I also made a video saying I need help.
If anybody can help me pro bono. I'm willing to
keep fighting by myself, but if anybody's willing to help
for the publicity or whatever, hit me up. And then
that woman don Toman, out of the kindness of her heart,
without me even asking her, took it upon herself to
(09:52):
reach out to her friend at the ACLU of Nevada.
How about that on my behalf and the ACLU of Neva,
I said, well, we'll talk to him, that's all. They said.
You know, we're interested because of the First Amendment implications.
So I met with them a week ago today, last Monday,
and they said well, we think we want to represent you.
(10:12):
Let's talk about this internally because this is you know,
it has repercussions bigger than just you.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
And right, it's what they do.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
Yeah, so they agreed to represent me. Shout out to
Atar and Chris and Jake and Sammy and everybody at
the ACLU of Nevada. I am going to their fundraising
event next month. I am their biggest cheerleader.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Now that's amazing. They are a fantastic organization and I
hope that the current administration doesn't dismantle them somehow.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
And also, the ACLU is a national organization, but it
has local chapters and each local chapter acts independently, like
they don't need to get permission from the parent organization.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Good they cut out the red tape. That's good because
you never get anything done exactly.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
So, after I shared the news of the ACLU of
Nevada's involvement, a few people on my socials said that
they were going to donate, and I was like, you
know what, I should encourage people if they want to
donate to the ACLU of Nevada. And I said, you know, hey,
if you want to celebrate my victory against Blake Lively,
please consider donating to the ACLU of Nevada. And a
(11:18):
bunch of people said that they did donate, So thank
you also to everyone who donated to the ACLU of Nevada.
They are an amazing organization doing good in Las Vegas
and all over the state of Nevada. So that's that.
Do you have any questions?
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Yeah, I mean, how light do you feel that?
Speaker 3 (11:34):
Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
The amount of money, oh that she is spending on
this millions a month, the time alone that was wasted
on you.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
Over one hundred thousand dollars at least.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Easily what she could have done with that money for
good or even for a fucking new barket bag whatever,
I don't care. I mean, what a waste of fucking time.
And that's what I've been saying all along. And I
got this weird feeling they're going to settle.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
I've said that repeatedly because.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
There's nothing here. This is like a cold case. It's
pretty wild, but this is still going on. It just
tells you what a fucking narcissis she is.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Not even that. I think I might have said this
on the Patreon show, but if I didn't, then you're
hearing it for the first time now that I'm in
my el Woods era. I did a lot of studying
and research and preparing and reading and understanding and familiarizing myself.
And to prove sexual harassment in a court of law,
(12:36):
that bar is really high to be able to prove that.
And if she's not able to get a guilty verdict
on sexual harassment, it's just too risky for her because
everything falls apart everything. So I think both sides it's
advantageous to both sides to just settle it, and this
(12:59):
is a great set way to move on from Blake
Lively to Taylor Swift. They're going to continue to do
what both sides have been doing. At the end of
last week, on Thursday and Friday, there were all of
these headlines that the media was reporting about Taylor Swift's
possible involvement with a deposition that was just theater optics.
(13:22):
I don't think that Justin Baldoni's legal team was really
going to call Taylor Swift because they didn't even fucking
issue a new subpoena when they did this, because remember
they did already file a subpoena. I know now the
whole process for everything. Right, So they filed the subpoena,
but then they already they had withdrawn the subpoena in
(13:45):
the court. So if they were going to depose her,
which they said in a letter to the judge, they
needed to send another subpoena. And they didn't do that.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
Right. It was just a little bit of chess exactly
exactly asking what they're gonna do, Like, hey, guys, just
telling you this is what's gonna happen. We're gonna do this.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
Or they may not be doing that. I don't know
the reason for the chess moves, but what I'm getting
at is they made a move and people might think
there's a very obvious reason for that. I understand supporting somebody,
but you have to take your head out of the sand.
You have to be objective.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
No, you don't. It's the internet, all right, You're right,
I got it here. No one's objective, no one's paying attention,
no one knows the details, no one understands or could
spell the word minutia. You don't have to do shit.
You just have an opinion when you're online and you
say whatever dumb shit you want to say, and that's
everything that's wrong with the world, the fucking Internet.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
So Thursday, Justin Baldoni's lawyers, as I mentioned, sent a
letter to the judge saying that Taylor Swift agreed to
be deposed. Then Friday morning, Taylor Swift's lawyer himself sent
a letter to the judge saying Taylor Swift did not
agree to being deposed, saying that she maintains that she's
(15:06):
got no material involvement in any of this or relevant information. Actually,
I don't want to miss quote. She might not have
said that she doesn't have relevant information, but she did
say that she's got no material involvement. Okay, so there
is a difference.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
There because she knows shit.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
Yeah, So her lawyer said she's got no material involvement
and that she did not agree to be deposed, but
gave a date range if she's forced to be deposed.
And then even after that fucking letter from Taylor Swift's lawyers,
all of these people, this is what I'm not on
Team Baldoni. I'm team the Truth. I'm like able to
(15:42):
call it like I see it. I believe Justin Baldoni.
But so many people on Team Baldoni were like well,
she agreed to it. She did agree, like dot No,
she agreed to it if she's forced to. Her lawyer
literally wrote she did not agree to this. Semantics, but
her lawyer literally you use the words. Taylor Swift did
not agree to a deposition.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
Once again, semantics. She agreed to a time period that
she could be right. Yeah, if she could be it's
just how you read it. But like you said, no
one cares about the details.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
She agreed to a time frame that she could be available.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
If she had to. We got it. It's two different things.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
But they're two big qualifiers.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
We got it.
Speaker 3 (16:23):
Speaking of Taylor Swift, yesterday, she was at that Chiefs
game where they lost, and a lot of people were
confused because she was hiding behind a screen. Did you
see that video?
Speaker 2 (16:35):
I didn't see the video. I heard about it. I've
got a good guess why it would be.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
Well, I was confused at first, but then I figured
it out after I did a lot of looking at
multiple posts on social media. And I'm going to read
it verbatim because somebody recognized what it was. It wasn't
just a screen. This one commenter said, quote, pretty sure,
it's just one of the resistant boards they use in
(17:03):
some schools. So given the heightened political universe this past week,
Taylor's security team probably also has received some threats. I'm
guessing probably always does, yeah, but also might have gotten
some new threats because there are crazy people out there,
and even the President has said negative things about Taylor
(17:25):
Swift within the last twelve months. So they just were
being extra.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
Cautious, and I would be They're in a very red state.
The NFL does a good job with their security and
has for a very long time, but you can't forecast
what nuts are going to do, and in the heightened
environment that we're in with all of these upset, pissed off, mad,
hurt people, I get it, you know. I'm surprised she
even went it's scary out there. There's no repercussions for anything.
(17:54):
It doesn't matter if you're a politician or if you're
some guy yelling at the weather. They take you out.
The news can continues on. Nothing's going to be done
about it. The laws aren't going to change. It's guns
over people.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
No, no, no, the laws are going to change, but
not the right laws.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
Yeah, there's nothing going to happen. No, no, no, no, I'm
just saying nothing's going to change. Things may happen.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
No, no, no, ohh. I guarantee you the laws will change.
Laws will change with regards to social media and more censorship.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
Duh. That's a part of Project twenty twenty five. Yeah,
right there in black and white.
Speaker 3 (18:27):
That's definitely going to happen. Which is ironic because I
thought conservatives are supposed to be about anti censorship, but
they're not. They're only against censorship when it's done against them.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
But we're the radical left. Yeah, name one fucking right
that the left has tried to take away from you.
Just name one. I'll sit here all day and wait
for it.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
I totally predicted that'll happen. In fact, it's already even
before might happen on the national level, I believe that
individual states are going to try to change laws about
social media, the companies and how they are allowed to
behave in the individual states. It's going to be a
wild time, like how a platform like TikTok or Instagram
(19:09):
or YouTube can make the thing different state by state.
It would not shock me if some states perhaps even
outlaw social media for people under the age of eighteen.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
Wouldn't shock me. With the jerry mandering that's going on
like Missouri. That's a perfect example. By the way, illegally,
you're allowed to read district around the census that's at
the bookends of the decade, where if you look at
the calendar, we're dead in the middle. That's why all
of this is illegal right now, what they're doing. But
fuck it, they don't care. But for states like Missouri,
they're like, we have these very Christian beliefs in this
(19:44):
and that, and we're very Republican here. So now you
get one seat and you black people, you get less
representation than you have. They don't care. So if they
want to take more rights away, I don't know why
people would keep voting for that. Once again, I'll just
say the sentence a set a second ago. What right
is a Democrat tried to take away from you?
Speaker 3 (20:02):
Well, they say they want to take away gun.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
Well, no, it's never been takeaway guns. Even Kamala Harris
was like, I own a gun. You know, she shoots
her gun. That's not true. They didn't want to take
it away. They want better gun legislation, that's what they wanted.
And mental health.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
Let me say it, I don't necessarily agree with this.
But I'm going to tell you what people on the
right believe, because I hear everybody and I forget.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
What they believed. Once again, you're about to spread their misinformation. Well,
I don't know it is misinformation. You're gonna tell everyone
what they believe when they never said that. That's like
we had some uproar over Sidney Sweeteye. No we didn't,
nobody cared.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
Let me say, some people on the right believe that
you should be able to own all types of guns,
even like, you know, not just hunting guns.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
People on the left believe that too.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
No, a lot of on the left do want to
ban those types of guns, AK forty sevens or whatever.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
But there's a lot of everything. You can't speak for everyone.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
But I do think that that a lot of people
on the left and politicians on the left do want
to ban those types of guns.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Assault weapons should be banned. It's sensible.
Speaker 3 (21:04):
Okay, So then you're now just saying you do want
to take away some rights.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
I'm saying what I believe. I'm not saying what they
were pitching. What they were starting with was the bare minimum,
the fucking bottom floor of like, hey, we need to
screen these people better for the nut jobs that are
able to get their hands on guns. That's all they
started with. The Republicans wouldn't even agree to that. They
voted that down.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
I listen, that's insane. I do agree with you that
assault weapons should be banned, but I also like to
keep it real and be honest and fair. So if
you have your way, or even if I have my way,
that would be taking away some rights from people on
the right.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
And some people on the left. There are people on
the left that also believe that they should have those weapons. Sure,
I am not one of them. Do I think people
should be able to go out and buy a grenade?
Speaker 3 (21:49):
No?
Speaker 2 (21:50):
Or a fucking tank. No.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
It's like this.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
When you're in school, you remember when some kid would
fuck it up for the whole class, and you'd be like, fuck,
we can't do this because you fucked it up. That's
where we are as a country.
Speaker 3 (22:02):
Politicians to mention that, like why can't we go out
and buy grenades? Great point.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
Then they'll be like, grenades don't kill people. People kill you.
It's a person that pulled the pin. It's all big business,
these gun lobbyists. You take one thing away, they're gonna
take everything away. But fuck the kids, Fuck those kids
that get shot in school, fuck them, Fuck you kids.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
Well, the interesting thing is that this shooter, the suspected
shooter of Charlie Kirk, he I believe is queer. He
was in a relationship with a man.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
Is that real?
Speaker 3 (22:34):
Yeah, according to the governor of Utah.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Well, look, according to the people at the top, they're
up there spreading shit from day one that wasn't true.
I mean, they've had to walk so many things back
when it comes to this. I'm just tired of them
painting him as a leftist or a radical right where
they've got some fucking term for people that don't that
are not read enough.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
I wanted to share some information because I believe this
and this is just my opinion. So you know, he's
queer according to the governor of Utah. According to the
FBI confirmed that he was in a relationship with a
man transitioning to a woman. And it's also confirmed that
his family is not liberal. His family is very conservative,
(23:16):
voted for Donald Trump, are big gun lovers, and are
Mormon and person This is my opinion. I love Mormon people,
a lot of Mormons in Vegas, but I also do
believe that religious oppression is a real thing. Sure, and
growing up feeling like you cannot be yourself and being
told that you're bad for who you are, right, that's
(23:39):
a very toxic thing. I'm not sure if that happened here.
I'm just saying my opinion is that could have happened here. Sure,
even more so honestly than like online radicalization. Like that's
definitely a part of it. But I also think like
growing up in this not even in your own household.
But I get it because in a way, growing up
(24:02):
queer in Mormon Utah is similar to growing up queer
in Cuban Latino Miami, which is also very religious and
machista and just frowning upon gay people anywhere, not anywhere.
I mean, like you grew up in fucking like Beverly
Hills or Manhattan or Chicago, I mean, or San Francisco.
(24:22):
It's you're lucky if you're in one of those places.
But most other places, Okay, Sure.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
Cities are full of people with critical thinking, and if
the parents start kids early on, it doesn't matter versus
they're against God and the Bible. I get it. I mean,
it's a fucking weird rub. You know, it's hard being gay.
I would imagine him You're still in the minority.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
That's why I got so much criticism. Remember, like a
few years ago, I said, if you know, I can
magically pick my children's sexual orientation, like I would prefer
that my son's not gay because life would be easier
for him.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
Yeah, I always like that rap. You make a very
good point. You know, you just want life to be
as easy as possible for your kids. That's all you
really said there on.
Speaker 3 (25:05):
The flip side. God, this is why, Like I said
this on our Patreon show, like both sides are fucked up.
But like I hate seeing people. I know I won't
mention names, but like especially gaze right. Like, you would
think that gays are very open minded and accepting, but
a lot of gays are some of the most judgmental
and hateful people. For example, gays over the last few
(25:28):
days have been trying to cancel Kristin chenow Jennifer Coolidge,
and Deborah Messing gay icons.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
What did they do?
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Kristin Chenowith and Deborah Messing left kind comments praying for
Charlie Kirk's family, and gays did not like that you
fucking hateful fuckers. Gross.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
Once again, you're commenting on things online.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
It's gotten pick up, like people like like news article
in the gay media are talking about and stuff.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
I don't know how much of that. I truly believe
there's always going to be the outlier voices, and there's
always gonna be bots and people that it's not bots.
If people trust me, there are some bots in there.
And I also believe that there are people you know
as well.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
A lot of people I know. I'm seeing them on
my private Facebook page.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
I'm just so tired of like, was this person on
the right or was this person on the left? How
about this one? This person was fucking crazy, Okay. Anybody
that can blow somebody's fucking head off is a nut. Yeah,
unless you're in the military, and those people often need
psychiatric help after the fact when they do things like
that and therapy and such. So I don't know, I'm
(26:37):
just tired of it all.
Speaker 3 (26:38):
And Jennifer Coolidge did not leave any prayers or whatever,
but she followed Charlie Kirk and just by following him
people are upset. Yeah, it goes back to what we
said on our Patreon show, The show busification of politics.
People just like to be able to be entertained, So
if somebody entertains them, they'll like them, especially if you
(27:00):
agree with the entertaining things being said.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
It's weird to have flags with politicians' names on. It
is weird if you want to do it for a
football team or a baseball team. I get it. It's arbitrary,
it's local. I can at least understand that. But this
whole like idolizing a person and their beliefs. It's just
weird now.
Speaker 3 (27:20):
And you know what's weird the future legislation that's happening,
that's going to happen, it's almost already happening. TikTok has
auto corrected too hard. If you go on Twitter, I'll
still call it Twitter, and if you type in this
search term because I typed it in, TikTok deleted my
(27:42):
Charlie Kirk video. So many people saying that they put
videos up just you know, saying prayers for Charlie Kirk's family,
or making videos that did not violate TikTok guidelines, and
TikTok took their Charlie Kirk videos down. I did. They
took one of my videos down and gave me a
community guidelines violation and on TikTok for talking about the
(28:02):
Charlie Kirk situation, and I did not say anything wrong.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
I mean, I also get companies not wanting to be
involved in all. You know, like TikTok was birthed out
of fucking girls doing little cheerleading routines and singing and
such like that, and it came from a place of
innocence and love and now it's turned into this hate
spewing this and you did that and that person said this,
and politician that. It just goes back to your last
(28:27):
sentence though, It's just like, does everything have to be
about fucking politics? Does every platform owe it to your
users to provide every kind of content? And I get
them trying to police it. I also do get.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
That they should allow what their community guidelines say. If
you don't want politics on your platform, then explicitly say that.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
I get that as well. I'm just saying they didn't
want their platform to be that, they didn't want it
to be about that at all as.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
Much, and they should make that change in their community
and they should.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
I feel you then everyone will bitch and complain and
you know they'll lose half of their fucking visitors, which
they don't want that either. So it's just this weird
line that everybody has to walk. It's a crooked line.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
Well it sucks. I'm all about like, if you have
rules for people, and people are obeying the rules, you
should not punish them if they don't disobey the rules.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
You're right, you're right.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
We haven't really talked on the podcast about the awfulness
going on in Gaza too much. I do have a
celebrity tie that I felt compelled to share. So Jerry
seinfeldt very proud Jewish man, said something recently that just
fucking bothered me. He said the following He said about
(29:41):
the Free Palestine movement. Quote, just say you don't like Jews.
By saying free Palestine, you're not admitting what you really think.
So it's actually compared to the Ku Klux Klan. I'm
actually thinking the Klan is actually a little editor here
(30:01):
because they can come right out and say we don't
like blacks, we don't like Jews. Okay, that's honest. I
never thought Jerry Seinfeld was that stupid. Let me explain
it to him. The Free Palestine movement is a quick
and easy way to say we are not antisemitic. What
(30:22):
we are is against the policies of the government of Israel,
just like NETANYAHUO does not speak for all people in
Israel and Donald Trump does not speak for all people
in the United States. It's as simple as that, Like, uh,
so shortsighted.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
Well, when you're on one of the sides, you get
mired in the ugliness and you lash out and you
don't think things through. It's an ugly situation that I
just want them to fucking feed these goddamn kids, protect
young lives on every side. Picking a side is like,
I don't know enough about it to fucking to say
(30:59):
any person is wrong or right. I mean, it just
goes back so many fucking years. If you'd think they
could work it out. But our problems seem small compared
to their problems. Now we're not there yet, but we're
gonna get there, folks.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
Fuckle in well, speaking of problems and messiness, Prince Harry,
I'm pretty sure we spoke on the Patreon show about
his recons his reunion with his father on Thursday, right
a full hour, yes, yeah, Well, after Harry ended his
trip in the UK, he flew to Ukraine because his charity,
(31:35):
the Invictus Organization, which puts on the Invictus Games, has
been doing work in Ukraine, specifically making sure that veterans
can have access to sports facilities, gyms, rehabilitation places. And
also this is very powerful God. When he said this,
it made me so sad because it's true, saying that
(31:56):
for the next decades people with miss limbs are going
to be very common in Ukraine, war casualty, you know,
and talking about that. But Harry also talked a lot
about his father, about some of the things that he's done.
For example, he said to The Guardian in an exclusive interview,
(32:18):
you cannot have reconciliation before you have truth. And then
he specifically even brought up the book that he wrote, Spare.
Harry said, I know that speaking out annoys some people
and it goes against the narrative. The book. It was
a series of corrections to stories already out there. One
(32:39):
point of view had been put out and it needed
to be corrected. I don't believe that I aired my
dirty laundry in public. It was a difficult message, but
I did it in the best way possible. My conscience
is clear. It is not about revenge. It is about accountability.
Two things. One, this man is such a narcissist.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
No, he's not, pet Delulu, Well, Delulu, listen. Yes, his
truth is his truth, and whether it is actually true
or not, that's what every war is based on. Whatevery
disagreement is.
Speaker 3 (33:18):
Based also objectively untruth.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
Well, yeah, you know, you hear me say it all
the time. Unless I see it with my own eyes,
I don't believe shit.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
There were so many stories from that book that had
never been publicly reported before, like that fight that he
got into with his brother Nobody. He didn't need to
correct anything because that was not public prior to that.
Speaker 2 (33:40):
Right, Well, I think he was talking about some instances,
not all of this.
Speaker 3 (33:43):
Yeah, well he's full of shit.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
Yeah. People have revisionist history when it comes to their
memory and how they felt slighted and you know whatever.
Speaker 3 (33:51):
This is juicy. I have a theory. I believe Harry's
meeting with his father did not go well. That's why
just a couple of days, literally like forty eight hours later,
he's talking shit because he didn't get what he wanted
out of that meeting. I believe that's my theory. It
could be wrong. All right, I'm worried. A couple of
years ago, like two years ago, I went to go
(34:13):
see Ed Sheeran in concert at a stadium here in Vegas,
at Allegiant. He has not yet announced his US tour.
He's currently on tour, but he has not announced the
which is an interesting move because nowadays artists usually announced
their entire itinerary at once, but he's not done that.
If he does stadiums again, I'm not sure if it'll
(34:35):
do well because his new album just was released and
it didn't even debut in the I mean, it did
okay ish, but it didn't do that well. His new
album Play is projected to come in at number four
or number five and only moving between sixty five to
seventy five thousand units.
Speaker 2 (34:57):
I don't think a new album is indicative of how
your sales are going to do, though, I mean, you know,
he's a legacy act at this point. The better question
I think is has he been missed? Has he not
toured in such an amount of time now.
Speaker 3 (35:12):
Years ago?
Speaker 2 (35:12):
Yeah, and that's what I kind of thought too. So
back to your thought, I don't know, stadiums is a
is a bit much, but you see some of these
artists that are selling these big rooms, and you're like,
how the fuck is this even possible? The live touring
business is bigger than it's ever been. The demand for
live concerts and experiences is something like I've never seen
(35:33):
in my concert going lifetime. So who knows. I gotta
think they researched it. But I do tend to agree
with you.
Speaker 3 (35:40):
I don't know because it hasn't been announced yet. I'm
just so it's possible. He might do arenas.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
Yeah, I think he'll do arenas. I don't see him
doing stadiums.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
He did just two years ago.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
So but that's what I mean, Like, if he just
did that, I don't see him going back to the well.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
On the flip side, and this might be a good
little nugget for your radio show in LA Number one
this coming week. Projected to debut at number one with
their eighth studio album, twenty one Pilots.
Speaker 2 (36:08):
Yeah they got a big fan base.
Speaker 3 (36:09):
Yeah, I don't even know what what the fucking single is.
I haven't even heard the song.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
The contract was the first single, and they dropped another
one the other day. These songs are not making a
dent anywhere. I don't mean that in any negative way.
I just think that fan bases followed their acts, and
I don't even know if the current song or singles
or album release has squat to do with touring. I
think it's, like I just said a moment ago, it's
(36:34):
just about that community that you've built and going to
see the band and supporting the guys that you like.
I just don't think they're congruent anymore when it comes
to album sales, singles and tours. I just don't. I
don't think they have anything to do with one another anymore.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
Well, some couple's news quickly. Nina Dabrev, the actress, and
retired olympian Sean White have ended their years long and
gay agement, and there might have been some inappropriateness that
went down. I saw this comment on a post that
Nina Dobrev made before news broke about their engagement and
(37:14):
being called off in the relationship ending. This woman wrote,
just bt W to Nina Dabrev, I saw your fiance
in Austin, Texas last week at a bar. His friend
came up and threatened me to put my phone away
and not take pictures of him and these two girls
he was with. I did not have my phone out
(37:36):
or even realize who he was at this point, so Oopsie's.
Speaker 2 (37:40):
Well, that doesn't mean he was doing anything. I mean
this means that people could have been just taking his picture.
But if she didn't know who he was, that's a
little suspect.
Speaker 3 (37:49):
Correct. Correct. So Also, congratulations to Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus's
ex husband. Chris Hemsworth's younger brother is engaged to his
model girlfriend Gabriella Brooks Mazzle to them. Also, there were
some rumors going around that Ariana Grande and her boyfriend
(38:10):
Ethan Slater had broken up, but nope, they have not.
They're still very much together. In fact, he took to
his social media to congratulate her a few days after
the VMA's on her win. Also quickly some TV news.
Are you a fan of that Wednesday show?
Speaker 2 (38:27):
I watched the first season, I just didn't watch the
second one and Kellen started it without me. I'll get
to it eventually. It was cute.
Speaker 3 (38:33):
Well, there's a spinoff in the works if you like
that show. It's a very popular show. Fred Armundson says
that they're doing an Uncle Fester spin off.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
Cool cool.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
Also, that show the Hunting Wives just got renewed for
a second season on Netflix.
Speaker 2 (38:50):
Thanks huge.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
Yeah, have you watched that?
Speaker 2 (38:52):
She's watching all those I'm not into.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
That, Okay, And similar to that, Desperate Housewives. This is
a fun, cute little concept. Terry Hatcher is doing a
rewatch of Desperate Housewives. You know how that's like a
big trend nowadays. Yeah, and she's rewatching it with one
of her co stars, Andrea Bowen, who played her daughter
on Desperate Housewives, and her real life daughter is also
(39:15):
going to be the other co host. And what's interesting
about it to me is that Terry Hatcher's daughter never
watched Desperate Housewives, so she'll be watching it for the
first time. So that's kind of cute. Yeah, yeah, all right,
let's take a call.
Speaker 4 (39:29):
Hi, book her pas. My name is Jen from Arizona.
I have a Patriot. Remember you're welcome. I had a
comment that flush question about the Mariah Carrie VMA performance,
but that just me or was she wearing you know,
fake booths that a drag queen wear because she got
the big necklace and she is tuto. Her chest is
(39:49):
way different colors than her neck.
Speaker 3 (39:50):
I don't I didn't notice.
Speaker 2 (39:52):
I didn't either. I'm a boobologist. I didn't catch that.
But if she did, okay, if she didn't, okay, let
me see if I can find what work called.
Speaker 3 (40:00):
She was wearing a wig. I remember that.
Speaker 1 (40:03):
Yeah, Hey guys.
Speaker 5 (40:04):
It's LG. Nash Show calling to talk about the Bmas
and Bieber's albums. I know y'all didn't like Swag, but
I really liked it. And I like everything the booker
likes musically, except I have a strong like R and
B hip hop love, and I just I think he's
like so authentic and Pictures is a cool song, but
it's kind of silly. And also you were talking about
Prez not being on Traders, and like the whole VMA's
(40:27):
had a very like late nineties early two thousands vibe
to it. You know, I think that they're finally understanding
we liked the nostalgia oasis on tour, Backstreet Boys, all
the things. So I feel like, Perez, this is your time.
They need to put you on that show to recognize, like,
this is the audience. We are the audience people who
enjoyed that time right anyway, love the show.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
It's a good point. What is from that era is obviously,
what's signed me up?
Speaker 3 (40:52):
I want to do it?
Speaker 2 (40:53):
Sign him up? All right, guys, thank you for listening.
We get together on Thursday for another Patreon show. We
do need more calls. Eight hundreds seven.
Speaker 3 (41:01):
Would appreciate it even more than the calls. If you
signed up at patreon dot com slash Perez Hilton, your
support there would mean so much. Agreed, have a wonderful
rest of your week. See some of you, hopefully a
lot of you, on Thursday.
Speaker 2 (41:17):
Bye guys,
