Thank you for listening to this podcast one production, now
available on Apple Podcasts, podcast one, Spotify, and anywhere else

Speaker 4 (00:41):
It's a pH crank my cast order.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
We're MoMA, Chris Booker, h Boker and one and only
world famous Perez Perez b Perez Hiltsen. It's the PHP.
Everybody was to the PHP A Booker, that's Perez and
how you doing.
Speaker 4 (01:01):
I'm good today. We're getting into the very latest with
Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson. Kanye West is determined to
break them up. Adele has she peaked, Madonna is fuming
mad Lindsay Lohans come back and more. But first, how
(01:24):
are you? How is your Thanksgivings?
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Giving was great? It was awesome. I felt like I
got a second vacation off of my week of vacation.
So I'm pretty rested and rearing to go.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
You know, my mom yesterday was trying to convince me
to do nothing, but of course I ignored her because
you know, or maybe you don't know, but you probably do. Like,
I just spend so much time working during the week,
you know, when I have time off, like, I like
to do the most with my kids. So we just
did so many things. We saw en Ganto, the new
(01:55):
Disney movie, which was cute. We something as was like.
We went to I Hoop and I surprised my mom
by taking her there and she hadn't been in years.
And let me tell you, I got to go back
to I Hop. It's a bargain. It is six people,
and I gave a thirty percent tip and it came
out to ninety eight dollars.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Oh, that's awesome. Every meal at I hop from here
on out.
Speaker 4 (02:20):
I might have to be a regular and I hop now.
It was so good. And I took my kids to
go see the LA Kings play nice and we won.
And I've been to every professional sporting game possible. Nothing
is as fun as hockey life. Have you ever been
to a hockey game? I don't know.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
I'm not a huge hockey fan, but I've been to
a lot of hockey games.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
Of course, it was so fun. Actually, here's a little
bit of tea. I didn't include this in my vlog
because I didn't want it to feel like I was
exploiting her. But I was seated next to Amber Rose,
and I've known her for like fourteen years, thirteen years,
something like that, and you know, she's been through a
(03:04):
lot lately, and I wanted to just catch up and
be like, how you doing, tell me everything, But she
was there with her eight year old son, and I
didn't want to have any adult conversations with her, like
right next to her eight year old son. And I
was with my kids too. Anyways, I'm gonna wrap it
up because this has gone on for far too long.
(03:24):
But I took my kids ice skating afterwards, and we
ended up in urgent care. So if anybody wants to
know what happened, watch my vlog. There we go. And
then my mom, of course was mad at me. She's like,
I told you you shouldn't have gone ice skating. I'm like,
oh my god, it could have been worse, but it
did require medical attention. Anyways, all right, it's that time
(03:50):
of the year. Actually, I'm such a type a personality
and a planner, but around this time, people start buying
all of their gifts for all of their loved ones
for all of the holidays, and we start spending and overspending,
and sometimes our finances get out of control. Thankfully, credit

(05:14):
The celebrities all were enjoyed Thanksgiving like us, including Kim
Kardashian and Pete Davidson. They celebrated Thanksgiving together. That's one
of the things about the Kardashians that is just like
a given now. They move at warp speed. You know,
(05:36):
a normal person might take their time introducing their new
boyfriend or girlfriend to the family. Not the Kardashians. Pete's
already one of the family.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Please a new toy?
Speaker 4 (05:49):
Yeah, well, hopefully they last. I don't know. They spent
not just Thanksgiving together but also Thanksgiving weekend and they
got some quality one on one time. I wonder how
thanks having worked with all their kids, with all her kids,
like if Kanye was there, I don't know, can you imagine,
Oh my god, like my brain just went there, What
if Kanye was at the Kardashian Thanksgiving and Pete Davidson
(06:13):
was there. I don't think Kanye would do it.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
Why would Kanye go to be with his kids on Thanksgiving?
Then again, why wouldn't Kanye go? It is his family.
I don't know. Is all this like bullshit? At this point,
I'm starting to think now there.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
It's real. And also a lot of people celebrate two Thanksgivings,
so maybe it makes sense that the kids did lunch
with dad and dinner with mom and the rest of
the family. I don't know, but Kanye Kanye also spent
part of Thanksgiving volunteering or sort of like, if there's
a microphone, Kanye is gonna get on the microphone. There
(06:50):
was this charity event where they were feeding the Home
the Unhoused. I don't know why semantics, but apparently that's
the new lingo. You don't say homeless, you say unhoused.
I'm fine with it. I guess it is less dehumanizing
or something.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
It means the same goddamn thing. It's ridiculous it.
Speaker 4 (07:09):
Means the same thing, but that's what people suggest. I'm
with the times, morons.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
This is what they've got to waste their time with.
Speaker 4 (07:16):
Well, if you're an unhoused person, and if you say
you prefer unhoused, shouldn't we listen to that community.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
I'm sure they're listening to a podcast and they're shanty.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
They're unhoused, but they have cell phones. Okay, they can
listen to us on their selfs. We need to be
huge in the unhoused community. I am a champion for
the unhoused. Okay, oh my god, actually pause before we
even continue that. Whatever you want to call it. Like
the ransacking of all of these.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
In Los Angeles and stuff, it's funny, like they they
hit like home depot to get crowbars and hammers and
things you break shit with. And then they went of
the posh places and broke into them, like out at
the malls and stuff. It's crazy. That's where we're going.
We're so ultraliberal. We have this whole like, well, if
somebody comes in and steal stuff, you know, if it's
(08:11):
if it's less than a thousand dollars, you let them
go and all this other stuff. So it's stupid, dumb.
I say, you shoot people on site, That's what I say.
Then all this will come to an end. This is ridiculous.
It's absolutely ridiculous. We're out of control as a society.
People don't come in and steal your shit from your business, Okay.
And if they do, shoot them, that's what I say,
this is out of control.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
Who's going to be the one shooting them because then
they can be they can be shot back, you know,
that's the problem.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Pays them then tasers.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
Fine hired security is not gonna want to risk their lights.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Well, that's what they do. And when you go to
Louis Vuitton, if you go to Louis Vuton in Cancun,
there's an armed guard with a rifle. They're protecting the store.
You look at it and you're like, hmm, I would
think twice about knocking that place off because this is
a guy with an itchy finger. We'll get there, don't worry.
We're gonna get there. This country's going to get there.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
I'm not afraid to speak my mind. I'm I literally
texted this yesterday and my friends because there's some new
COVID variant that people are freaking out over, and I'm like,
no more lockdowns.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
Just because you don't want it, Sir Perez, Because you've
been inconvenience. You sound like an asshole when you say that. Okay,
I've been inconvenience too much to buy this. If this
variant as bad as they say it and it doesn't respond,
I call it the Amarosa variant because it's just funnier.
But if it doesn't respond, we will be in lockdown again.
We will sit in our houses again, and hopefully we'll
(09:40):
do it right this time, and it'll only be a
couple of weeks. But I I know, I, I me, me,
You're just like everybody eyes.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
Yeah, I'm over it. I don't care. I own it.
I'm over it, and I'm gonna vote. I think I'm
going to vote for if there are some smart or
sensible Republicans in California, I will be voting Republicans because
we need a shift in this state. We need to
go the other way. I think, well, I.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
Think the state's a mess. I agree with you there,
but anyway, I don't think there's any politician that's going
to change it.
Speaker 4 (10:09):
To be honest with you, I think it's all bullshit's
first of all, like, I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but
they discovered this variant last week How the fuck do
you know already it's resistant to the vaccine.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
First of all, they don't, So let's just stop you
before you start. You said that, I said, they don't know,
is what I said. Okay, they said they don't know
if this strain is resistant to the vaccines that we
have because they haven't done enough research yet.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
And then I've read other places that it's just mild.
It's highly contagious, but mild symptoms.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
Let's hope for that, anyway. Let's hope for that.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
All right, Let's keep it moving because I don't want
to get upset over fucking COVID anymore.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Anyway for another two years, folks, No, stop it. I'm
already telling you no, No, it's not coming to an end.
Speaker 4 (10:56):
Then everybody's going to move to Florida or they just
don't give.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
A shit, so people are gonna get sick again.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
People in Florida are like, all right, I'm willing to
take that risk.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
A lot of people died in Florida, but.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
People in Florida feel like I'm willing to take that risk.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
Maybe most people are that way.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
Man, all right, let's keep it moving. Back to Kanye,
he was speaking at this Thanksgiving thing, and he had
the following to say. He said, quote this Thanksgiving, I'm
thankful for the family that my wife has given me. Pause.
He's still referring to her as his wife is his wife,
(11:33):
even though his wife has a new boyfriend.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Okay, still's why they're working things out. According to him.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
She's got a new boyfriend. How hard are you is
she working on working things out?
Speaker 2 (11:45):
Well, it doesn't sound like she is. The tide's going
to turn against her soon because he's going to keep
going full press and I want my family. I want
my family. People will gravitate to that.
Speaker 4 (11:56):
Listen. We all know he's the one responsible for his
family falling apart. Kim Kardashian was like a saint. She
put up with so much. According to you, No, according
to everybody, she's a great She's No.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
One's not saying she's not a great person. I'm just
not gonna pin all of the blame on a person
in a relationship I know nothing about except for that
he ran for president. I know he's he's he's uh,
he's done some uh said some wild.
Speaker 4 (12:26):
Things, but or not even that, but like wanting her
to uproot the kids and move to Chicago, then moved
to Wyoming, then moved here.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
According to like the Press.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
No, that's according to her.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
She said that there's two sides to every story press.
It's give and take.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
He's the one who's a taking, taking, taking, taking taking.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
You're single.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
No, I'm great in a relationship. I I love to
anyone knows.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
The longest relationship you've had is with me for six
years on this podcast. I don't know you have any
relationship the entire time I've done this with you.
Speaker 4 (12:58):
Well, I just look at my relationship with my kids
and my mom. I'm a giver. I'm not a taker.
Even when I'm in relationships, I'm the giver. I'm the nurturer.
I'm sure right, Well, I'm right right. Anyways, he said,
I'm thankful for the family that my wife has given me.
(13:20):
I'm thankful for the life God has given me. And
I'm thankful for your time, attention, and patience. In Jesus' name, Amen,
all I think about every day is how I get
my family back together and how I heal the pain
that I've caused. I take accountability for my actions. Good Lord,
(13:42):
My wife did not like me wearing the red hat,
being a good wife. She just wanted to protect me
and our family. I made me and our family a
target by not aligning with Hollywood's political stance, and that
was hard for our marriage. Then I ran for president
without proper preparation and no allies on either side. I
(14:05):
embarrassed my wife in the way that I presented information
about our family during the one and thank god only
press conference. All my dad had to say afterwards was
write your speech next time, son, whatever he wrote more
or he said more. But my question is, is this
(14:25):
now also disrespectful to his wife because his wife is
an adult and she made the decision to embark on
a new relationship. All this public proclamation marriage for better
or worse.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
They agreed it's a marriage.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
They're not gonna stay married. They're getting divorced out listen.
Then she's the problem. She's the problem.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
When you sign up for marriage, especially with Kanye West,
I'm sorry, yay West.
Speaker 4 (14:59):
Well, when you signed up, I'm gonna shut it down
right now. When you sign up for better you know
what marriage? Yeah, exactly, you know what you're getting you
all right? No, no, no, no, no, nout You're so right. You
know what you're getting dot dot Dot with Kim Kardashian
who's been married three or four times. Fair, so you
(15:19):
know what you're getting, Kanye West.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
That takes marriage with it. It's just a word. It
doesn't mean anything. You say these words to one another.
They're hollow, they're fake.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
Three times three times, not four times?
Speaker 2 (15:34):
Really has it been that many times?
Speaker 4 (15:36):
You're right? You know what you sign up for, and
when you marry Kim Kardashian, you know it's not gonna
be forever. If she doesn't feel like.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
That is fair too. But you still both signed up
for it, and if he wants to work it out,
you should try to work it out.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
Well. I think it's disrespectful, of course, it's disrespectful.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
These people are disrespectful to society. They don't give a
shit about anybody or anything. They care about themselves.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
She tried to work it out for very long time
and then just got to a point where she could
not make it work anymore. So good on them all.
Speaker 5 (16:08):
Right.
Speaker 4 (16:08):
In more Kardashian Jenner news, before we move on, Kim
and her sister Courtney both have joined TikTok, and they
did it in an unusual way as joint accounts with
their daughters, So Kim and her daughter North have a
joint TikTok account and Courtney and her daughter Penelope have
(16:31):
a joint TikTok account and whatever makes them happy. Although
it's just like silly, it's basically nine year old TikTok Okay,
they're just making like super silly dance videos and crap
like that. Well, you know, in addition to being a
time where we spend a lot of money, where we
eat and overeat, Thankfully, I did not overeat on Thanksgiving.
(16:55):
I contained it just to Thanksgiving Day and I worked
out this morning. The holidays are also a depressing time
for a lot of people and hard, especially if you
lost a loved one around the holidays. Thankfully, Cerebral is
here to help. Cerebral is an online mental health service
that offers prescription medication, counseling and therapy for anxiety, depression,
(17:21):
and insomnia and more. One of the services that provides
prescription medication online through a licensed provider. It is and
it ships medication straight to your door. You can skip
the pharmacy lines, you have unlimited messaging with your care team.
It's just so affordable and convenient and Simone Biles is
(17:43):
their chief impact Officer. I did not know that she's
a huge advocate for mental health and reducing stigma around
getting treatment and for listeners of the PHP, you can
receive sixty five percent off your first month of Medica
cation management and care counseling at get cerebral dot com
(18:07):
slash perez. Go to get cerebral dot com slash perez
for sixty five percent off your first month. That's just
a total of thirty dollars.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
To get started.
Speaker 4 (18:20):
In more relationship news, Congratulations to Lindsey Lohan, she is engaged.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
You know what's wild? Like last week, I think on
the show you were talking about Paris Hilton's wedding and
you said I better be invited to Lindsay lohans And
I'm thinking, I wonder if she gets engaged soon and boom,
like a week later. So it's like your timing's right
on with that one.
Speaker 4 (18:45):
I bet you she'll get engaged in dubai and she'll
have it all sponsored or paid for.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
Dubaiya.
Speaker 4 (18:53):
Yeah, get married and Dubaia. Oh my god, by the way,
do by the way, do bye the way. By the way,
last week I had such a brain fart and you
didn't catch it either.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
You know, I did catch it, and I was thinking,
I know what you're thinking about the Oprah Ellen the jest.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
Yeah, when you said I said Oprah instead of Ellen.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
I literally was like, Oprah does that bit too. I
was like, that's really an original of Oprah. But I
was like, you were moving on and I just never
got back to it.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
I watched it, like, I literally watched the whole the
interview and the IFB in your thing and I said
Oprah when I met Ellen. I may seem perfect, but
I make mistakes as well. Thanks. Anyways, congratulations to Lindsay Lohan.
I'm so happy for her. You know, look at us all.
(19:42):
Lindsay's engaged, Paris got married, Britney is free and thankfully.
I mean, maybe it's just because I have him paying attention,
but Britney's had a bit of a quiet week. A
quiet week for Britney is a good week, I would say,
so happy for her. A new album, as expected, debuted
(20:04):
very well, but I sort of was expecting it to
do even better. She debuted in the US with about
eight hundred and thirty eight thousand units, which you know
I thought she would do maybe like a million or more,
but still that's still big. They made this. I don't
know if you were paying attention, they made this huge
to do about the amount of vinyls that they pressed
(20:27):
for the Adele album. Like, in fact, indie artists were
like complaining on Twitter and indie labels.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Because they were hogging all the vinyl.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
Yeah, there's only so many factories that make vinyl and
they could not get their vinyls minted because they were
all making the Adele vinyls. And Taylor Swift ended up
selling more of her Red the first week than Adele
did of her new album. So that just leads me
to ask, has Adele peaked?
Speaker 2 (20:56):
I think they're both with the same juggernaut category. One
has to come in first, you know what I mean?
Like it, it doesn't mean anything, It doesn't, it means nothing.
She could go on an arena tour and sell it
every night for one hundred nights at the same damn
venue in Kentucky. They're both enormous juggernauts.
Speaker 4 (21:12):
Maybe she's peaked commercially, but not artistically, because I do
love the album so much.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
I don't think it's the word peaked. I think it's
just back to our previous conversation. I just think that
Hello and someone like you were just monsters, and this
song is I won't say not a hit, because who
knows what a hit is right now? But it's not
a monster. Those songs were undeniable, earth shattering monsters. This
(21:42):
isn't This hasn't captured the It's not in the zeitgeist.
It's just not there to me. Like I said, who
knows that what? Everything's so weird right now.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
I think one of the problems also is Adele is
an artist and some musicians, and she prefers mainly just
being an artist, whereas some musicians like Taylor Swift, have
a deep desire for being an artist and a business.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
Person and a product being a product. Yeah, could Adele
step on the gas and up her merch and you know,
sign things on her own like Taylor doesn't. It's no
slight against Taylor. I think it's cool for the fans
if you're a fan and you want the shit and
she's given it to you, fucking awesome. Yeah, but it
means more. It seemingly means more to Taylor than it
(22:34):
does Adele. I don't know if that makes her less
or more of an artist. Just as the way she
wants to do things.
Speaker 4 (22:40):
Taylor also evolves with the times more. And it's just
like she's just the smartest human being, like such a
great business woman, and Adele kind of is like resistant
to change.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
And I wouldn't even go that for I think that
Taylor just knows her fan base and she knows what
she can get out of them.
Speaker 4 (23:01):
I would go far because Adele has expressed that in
so many words. She gave a new interview to the CBC.
She was talking about Drake, and this is what Adele
had to say about Drake and their friendship. She said,
having access to someone else that knows exactly what it's
like to be in a certain position. Sometimes if I
(23:21):
try and talk to one of my other friends about it,
they'll have no idea what I'm talking about. They're like,
can't relate, so they just switch off. I can say
something to Drake and he won't judge me for it,
you know, So to have access to someone that's in
the same position. But anyways, the good part is she says,
we're a dying breed. There was like ten of us.
(23:42):
I don't think there'll ever be that many of us.
Again at the top, doing it the way we were
doing it. We came out before streaming. We came out
before all the social media frenzies of like you've got
five seconds to entertain otherwise get out. We existed in
the old schoolness of the indo that we grew up
watching and aspiring to be a part of. Yeah, she
(24:04):
doesn't like all the changes.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
Well nobody does. Who likes change in life? You want
everything like the way it used to be. And that's
just code for you want to be younger, because everything's
better when you're younger. And yes, the business has changed,
and everything, while getting bigger, has gotten smaller, and it's
almost back to talking about her song. It used to
(24:26):
just get music one way or two ways, you know,
from a video or from a radio station, and it
was more special. Now you've got this gigantic ocean of
music out there and it's hard to pluck, like what's good,
what's not good? And everybody's doing their own thing. Now.
I don't think it's better. I think it was better
when you had really great curators, programmers that had that knack,
(24:49):
that had that thing that said that's a hit or
great a and R people that knew, so it's just
a different day. But it is what it is. And
then you look at the world where we are now,
but everything's so muddied it just doesn't make sense.
Speaker 4 (25:02):
I mean, I still think a lot of great music
is being made.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
It certainly is. The question is do we hear it?
Does it make it to us?
Speaker 4 (25:10):
I hear it, I seek it out.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
Actually I was in a big hole over the weekend
literally listening to Whole Man. Those two those two albums
from the eighth from the nineties are so good, both
of them lived through This and Celebrity Skin. And then
I just sent Courtney Love a DM. I don't even
know if she checks her dms anymore. I just want
to say, hey, out of the blue, just sending you love,
(25:34):
and you're timeless. That's it. Just something like that because
I love her. Speaking of timeless, Madonna is timeless and
a little bit like Adele that she's not liking change,
or that she doesn't exactly.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
I don't think she acknowledges change. I think I think
she's still just sort of operating like she's Vogue.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
I don't think she sees in her mind she's still
that popular.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
And realistically she is. We all know who she is.
I mean, once you.
Speaker 4 (26:06):
Hit eleven, but she's not that popular as we get.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
Older, young people don't. They didn't have the history, right,
You don't understand the greatness of her breaking out with
Borderline and what those songs meant to people.
Speaker 4 (26:19):
Plus you know, back then, not only was she popular,
but she had a lot more power than she does now,
and she does not like it when she doesn't have power.
So Madonna posted over the Thanksgiving break some very racy
photos on Instagram. Did you see those?
Speaker 2 (26:38):
I read after the fact that she was mad that
they were deleted, and I saw pictures of her family.
I did see that that as well.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
But then she did like a whole photo shoot with
Stephen Klein, and people were making memes of it, like
wicked witch memes, because there was one where she was
like underneath the bed with her ass hanging out, and
I'm like, I don't understand what you're trying to communicate,
but what And I love Madonna's my number one of
all time anyways, And a lot of the photos her
(27:06):
nipple was visible, and Instagram is a stickler unless you're breastfeeding.
And it is weird because guys can show nipple, but
women can't. That doesn't really make sense. I'm with you,
free the nipple. I'm all for it. But she was
real upset. Madonna said, I'm reposting photographs. Instagram took down
(27:27):
without warning or notification. The reason they gave my management
that does not handle my account was that a small
portion of my nipple was exposed. It is still astounding
to me that we live in a culture that allows
every inch of a woman's body to be shown except
a nipple. Blah blah blah blah blah. She went on,
(27:47):
and she was not very happy. Let us send some
positive vibes to Wendy Williams. First, do you own or
rent your home? Sure? You do, and I bet it
could be hard work. You know what's easy bundling policies
with Geico. Geico makes it easy to bundle your homeowners
(28:08):
or renter's insurance along with your auto policy. It's a
good thing too, because you already have so much to
do around your home. Go to Geico dot com, get
a quote and see how much you could save. It's
Geico easy. Visit Geico dot com today. That's Geico dot com.
All right, there are some conflicting reports about the state
(28:34):
of Wendy Williams's health. Some people claim that she is
wheelchair bound, and some reports claim that she might even
be suffering from dementia. That's pretty hardcore. Her brother spoke
to the media, and I don't know if he made
things better, to be honest, because he said something along
(28:57):
the lines of, my sister doesn't have there are no
concerns about her mental state. It's all physical. But he
didn't explain what the physical things are, so he didn't
deny that she's in a wheelchair now, or she's gone
through a lot over the last few years, her whole life,
(29:18):
she's gone through a lot, and she's still not back
on her show.
Speaker 2 (29:22):
Who's on the show now?
Speaker 4 (29:23):
She's got a series of like rotating fill in guests.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
And you haven't done that yet. You gotta get on that.
Speaker 4 (29:30):
I think I'm too much of a threat because I
would do it so well.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
I'm sure that's what they're thinking.
Speaker 4 (29:36):
Yes, hey, I would do it. They haven't.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
Bit who's the fucking guest host this week?
Speaker 4 (29:42):
It's Leah Remoni and Michelle Visage.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
Okay, I know both of them.
Speaker 4 (29:47):
And they already did it.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
Sorry, but you're bigger than I happen to think. Lee
is very good at hosting things, but Michelle Visage, you're
a bigger name than not that she's not talented. I
love Michelle, but your much bigger name than her.
Speaker 4 (29:58):
Call me. I'll bring you as my co host.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
I'll just set up in the things now. All I
need is a microphone that I could say things every
now and again. It just mock you from the seats.
It would be fun.
Speaker 4 (30:08):
Lea Remeni was the one that was chosen to be
the host, and she said, I'm not doing it without
my friend Michelle.
Speaker 2 (30:15):
Oh wow.
Speaker 4 (30:15):
So I think they're trying to get their own talk
show together.
Speaker 2 (30:19):
Gotcha.
Speaker 4 (30:19):
They're very specific, the two of them with their appeal,
Like I don't know if the Wendy audience.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
We're probably more of the Wendy audience because you and
I are opinionated.
Speaker 4 (30:30):
Well they're opinionated too.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
I got a feeling that they would be more.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
C celebrity p Tavo audience. I feel like they're more
like the Gaze and or vh one, like they're the
gays and the straight goals. Like I don't know if
the Wendy audience is but I love them both and
I wish them well.
Speaker 2 (30:47):
I mean, we're kind of different than the Wendy audience,
but we are equally as Betchy is what people know?
You trust me, your a bet you too. I think
people would kind of connect with that picking sides. I
agree with him, I agree with him, I agree with him.
I think that people would connect with that.
Speaker 4 (31:02):
Debmar hit me up. We're available, all right. And finally,
I ended up watching the entire season of Dancing with
the Stars this year. It ended last week after we
recorded our podcast, Did It's Over? Yeah, and Jojo Siwa
did not win. Huh the audacity, I well, here's the way.
(31:27):
I don't even know exactly how they determine the winner
because I don't watch the show. I just watched the
performances on YouTube. But I watched all the performances. Yeah,
so I did look, and I saw that Jojo and
then the guy that won, Emon Schupert, tied with the
judge's scores that night. You would think you would hope
if they have a tie, that they could do like
(31:47):
a tie breaker, that there was like some other way.
But I think the audience vote then is what determines
the winner. And the audience voted for Emon and not
Jojo Jojo had. I would scored him consistently the entire season.
Speaker 2 (32:03):
Who's aman? Who is this?
Speaker 4 (32:06):
He's some athlete? You know you have athletes on the show,
plays with the Brooklyn Nets. Maybe that's why you don't
know him. He's an East Coast I'm going to be
on Dancing with the Stars or Strictly Come Dancing in
the UK. I am manifesting that it has to happen.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
I just can't believe you haven't been on yet.
Speaker 4 (32:24):
They don't want me. I've tried. It's hard being Perez Hilton.
Let me tell you, whether you own or rent, Geico
makes it easy to bundle home and car insurance. Having
a home is hard work, So get a quote at
geico dot com. Easy. All right, Let's take some calls.
Speaker 6 (32:42):
Hey, Booker and Press. I'm calling because I just know
that you are going to talk about Kanye hosting everywhere,
about how he is trying to get him back and
he wants to put his family back together. And I
just have to say, when in the history of EVAs
has that worked for anyone? Worked for Robin sick Nop,
Is it going to work for Kanye, No, what is
(33:04):
he doing? What is he thinking? God beats to him.
I think he just cannot handle the fact that Pete
Davidson has what he cannot have.
Speaker 4 (33:12):
So love the show by guy you thank you.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
One more thing to that. The difference this time around
with Kim and every other relationship, there is one difference.
They had kids, and they had many kids.
Speaker 4 (33:25):
Well no, no, no, no, no, no no no. She literally brought up
Robin Thick and he had kids or at least one
child as well.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
Yeah. I'm not saying he's that he shouldn't have worked
it out either, And I don't know if both parties
wanted to work it out, but in this situation, it
sounds like Kanye wants to work it out. And it's
not like every other pastor relationship because there are many
kids involved with this one. And listen, if you're gonna
be Kim Kardashian, you're gonna marry everybody in an area
code cool. Fine, but when you introduce some kids into it,
(33:54):
you got it. I think marriage should be taken a
little bit more seriously once the kids have been introduced.
Speaker 4 (34:00):
Let me, let me try to understand this, because why
is marriage such a big deal because in this day
and age, there are just as many people having children
with people without getting married. Is it having children and
even bigger bond or something more meaningful than getting married.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Well, I'm just saying hearkening back to old times, like
we were just talking about, it used to mean more.
Family used to mean more, that commitment used to mean more.
And it's like I said, if you want a gallivant
and just take it all flippantly and say, okay, it
doesn't mean a lot, fine until you have kids. Then
it starts to get a little dicey. Then you have
to say, all right, I brought some kids into the world. Here,
(34:41):
am I gonna really honor my word? Because you know
your words to your kids too, it's to your family,
all of you together. So I don't look, I don't
know what's going on with those two. Maybe it's warranted.
Maybe she should be done and maybe they should be
I'm just saying, I'm just trying to interject that perspective.
Speaker 4 (34:58):
And people change. I mean, maybe at the beginning of
their courtship and relationship, Kanye was one way and then
he's not that way anymore.
Speaker 5 (35:07):
High present booker. My name is Isaiah I am calling
from Denver. I thought I read comments on the Brittany
Christina situation. Since it seems like here and don't have
a lot of dude callers, I just wanted to say
that Christina's historically been pretty fearable to Britney in the press.
She called her white trash. She said that she needed
(35:28):
gimmicks to sell records. She went on tour with Justin
tim Relight Tim Relate directly after his breakup with Brittany.
She's really been giving Brittany podshasts for twenty years. So
back in June, after Britney's spoke up in court and
Christina or her team, we really don't know who posted it,
posted those tweets quote unquote standing up for Brittany. It
(35:51):
kind of seemingly felt like she did that solely because
it was the popular thing to do in the moment.
Now flash forward, Brittany, he's actually free, and Christina has
nothing to say to me. It feels like she may
be seeing chilent because she feels threatened by the fact
that Brittany is now going to be in control of
her career again, or Christina rather has always had this
(36:15):
level of jealousy for Brittany because she feels that she
is more talented than Brittany but hasn't seen half the
success that Brittany has. So I think that she's probably
scared that Britney's going to come out and overshadow her
career once again, just like she did tonight. And Brittany
hasn't released an album, she hasn't released anything, you know,
she's literally all She's released an Instagram posts, and she's
still overshadowing Christina on quote unquote her night Latin Grammys,
(36:38):
which seems like another foray for her to try to
gain relevance.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
This guy's just going on forever here. I do like
his voice. Though he sounds like sexy black and thin
and tall.
Speaker 4 (36:48):
He sounds a little delusional as well.
Speaker 2 (36:52):
That he's perfect for you.
Speaker 4 (36:54):
I say that with love. I mean, Christina is an
icon and like this, this rivalry is so stupid because
it's nonexistent. If they both and they have had both
residencies in Vegas, if they are residencies in Vegas, people
will go see them both.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
Okay, but they come from a different time where people
do pit artists against one another, and they did, and
you know, look at the VMAs. Everyone forgets they both
kissed Madonna, but you only hear about Brittany kissing Madonna.
Speaker 4 (37:24):
That's because the camera panned to get the reaction from
Justin Timberlakes. You didn't see the Christina one, maybe because
that wasn't on camera.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
It wasn't. No, yeah, sure it was. You got to
google that at some point.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
I think it was now I know, I guarantee the
camera did not see it.
Speaker 2 (37:39):
Huh.
Speaker 4 (37:40):
They panned to get Justin's reaction at the moment that
Christina kissed Madonna.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
I don't know. It seems very catty to me. But look,
like I said last week, Christina's bitchy. I kind of
think everybody sort of knows that, digging deep into the
theory that she thinks she's going to be bigger than her.
Back to Perez's point, they're just both icons at this point,
and they're both unfortunately yesterday's news. When it comes to
making music. It's younger now, it's Olivia Rodrigo, It's it's
(38:07):
still Tailor, it's still it's Doja Cat, Doja Cat exactly.
Speaker 4 (38:12):
Olivia Rodrigo, huge era, but it's only one era. Yeah,
Doja Cat has already had more than one era, so
she's around for a while. Actually, I was just talking
about this with a friend yesterday. I'm like, Lizzo, Lizzo's done, Sadly.
Speaker 2 (38:26):
I had said on the show at one point she
could just be a one hit and you kind of
scoffed at me, and I was like, it wouldn't shock me.
I mean, you know, I love her, but I'm about
to say it, Where's Lord? I like the song that
she did and put out, and I still like her music.
Speaker 4 (38:39):
I love her second album, but that it just didn't
do very well.
Speaker 2 (38:42):
Yeah, but you would think that these masters of that
moment they could keep that ball going. It's hard, it's
not easy. That's where you have to look at a
career like Taylor's or Adell's that has spanned a decade
plus at times, and it's really impressed, really impressive. It's
very hard. It's hard to have one hit.
Speaker 4 (39:04):
Think about all of the artists that just have one Well,
you know, like I've said before, it's better to be
a one hit wonder than a no hit.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
Right, one hit you can make money forever.
Speaker 1 (39:14):
Oh, this question is the booker.
Speaker 7 (39:17):
I know you used to watch vander Pop Rules and
I was wondering if you've seen any of the new season.
I personally think it's gonna be the Firwell season because it's.
Speaker 4 (39:28):
Just lost all of it fights.
Speaker 7 (39:31):
And it's just like really boring with the new people.
Speaker 5 (39:34):
I was just wondering if you've.
Speaker 7 (39:35):
Seen it, and if you think it has a chance
to even carry on with you know, all the main
people being gone.
Speaker 4 (39:41):
Parents love you guys.
Speaker 2 (39:42):
Yeah, you're a thousand percent right. I think I've said
that before with any of these reality shows. The secret
sauce to reality shows and young people is that doe
eyed innocence and then them performing within that. Their wackiness
comes out after a season. Sometimes two start to see
the camera even though you don't see the cameras, if
(40:03):
that makes any sense. They're acting up. They've achieved fame,
they've that specialness about them has been exposed, and now
it's gone, and now you're trying to go into another
generation of it. It's just it doesn't work that way.
Speaker 4 (40:16):
Well, sometimes it does, Like I don't know what the
magic is, but for some reason, like here's the perfect
example on MTV, the Hills came and went and then
came back again. But the new Hills, nobody cares. Jersey
Shore came and went, but the Jersey Shore revival has
been a big hit for.
Speaker 2 (40:35):
MTV, but not to the extent of what it was before,
where Snooky was that became a household name. Everyone in
the world was talking about that. Now. I'm not saying
that this vander Pump is not a completely irrelevant show,
but if you compare it to when it started, it
is it's a shell of what it used to be.
It's like it's executives going back to the well and
(40:57):
doing the same thing over and over again. It just
sucking every last ounce of cheap programming out of it.
And that's all it is. And I get them doing it.
And you know, people form a bond with some of
these people like you. They grow up with you, and
you're just part of their life, you know. And that's fine.
And some people are gonna fall off. Some people may
come back down the line, like I said, what's your famous?
(41:19):
You're famous?
Speaker 4 (41:19):
So yeah, but you're not always making money like you.
Speaker 2 (41:22):
That's true, but at least you're making some And I
think there's a lot of people that get the taste
and they get the first check and then they blow it.
I would say most people get the first check and
then they blow it. They go buy a record label
or something like you you idiot, No, I'd wasted so much,
so much money because you think it's going to come
in forever. But with that money and invested properly, you know,
(41:45):
you could have a nice living. But nobody thinks that way.
They go get tattoos on their face. But yeah, I
can't watch that. You like them because James Kennedy was wild.
They all the guys were all meatheads, and the girls
were really working in a bar and they were that
girl that moved to La to become famous, and they did,
you know, and you got to see it and it
was fun and you could dream along with them. But
(42:06):
it's over now.
Speaker 4 (42:07):
They are like, you know, selling stuff on Instagram and
all of.
Speaker 2 (42:11):
That right right, that pays them hundreds of dollars a year.
Speaker 7 (42:15):
Hey, Booker and Perez, it's a home from Indian Lake, Pennsylvania, colleing.
Speaker 4 (42:20):
I just want to express my opinion about the new
Adele album.
Speaker 5 (42:23):
I think it fucking sucks.
Speaker 4 (42:26):
It's not entertaining at all. I listened to it once
and but maybe it was a mistake.
Speaker 5 (42:32):
So I listened to it a second time.
Speaker 4 (42:34):
Personally, I find it boring.
Speaker 2 (42:37):
I find it weird.
Speaker 4 (42:38):
I want some fun, happy music, something that entertains, not
something about some of these personal life Who gives.
Speaker 2 (42:45):
A shit about that?
Speaker 4 (42:46):
Thanks? I love the podcast, Take care. I hope you
had a nice Thanksgiving. This person must not be in
a Dell fan because that's what she does.
Speaker 2 (42:54):
You did start the show asking the question has it peaked?
All right?
Speaker 4 (42:59):
Yeah, maybe we got our answer.
Speaker 2 (43:01):
I don't know if in twenty one days we would
have gotten anyone that made this call unless they were
just trying to be an asshole. Shocking. I don't think
this first single has caught the imagination of the masses.
Speaker 4 (43:12):
You know.
Speaker 2 (43:12):
I still like it, don't get me wrong, But that
was I guess the point I was making.
Speaker 4 (43:16):
Let's wrap it up, all right, Thank you, everybody appreciate you.
If you want to call and ask us anything eight
hundred seventy two one one one eight five, and make
sure you share our podcast with your friends' families, coworkers, classmates,
your fellow unhoused, we appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (43:38):
Can we get a call from an unhoused person.
Speaker 4 (43:40):
It's not funny. I'm not making fun of you for
the record.
Speaker 2 (43:43):
Oh God, take care everybody. We'll talk to you soon.
Speaker 4 (43:47):
